MATT HUBRISSS!!! ‼️‼️
He has a scar because I headcanon that he had the same one when he was still a human/alive, and then when he went into the game that he still somehow had it! The last fragment and memory he has of his past life. ;)))

I had told my spouse recently that I felt like our cat was a net negative on my happiness. I love her very much, but she has IBD, cystitis, and scoliosis which means that she is very high maintenance in terms of medication as well as grooming. I clean her litter box, buy her very expensive food, keep up with her meds(pills and injections), and because I do the bulk of the grooming she doesn’t like to spend much time with me.
Today I was watching her snooze, melting. I wondered how I could have thought these things about this precious, innocent creature. I then went to take down a few holiday decorations and discovered that she has been peeing and pooping behind our Christmas tree.
Interrobang, I love you and I hate you right now.

as a former escape room host i highly recommend doing an escape room as a first date. its a great way to learn how ppl react under pressure and how well they collaborate with you right off the bat. also more than once ive seen people enter an escape room as a couple and exit broken up LOL its a fantastic litmus test

Sometimes you need to read something twice to get it. You might need to watch a movie three times to understand it. You might have to have that album on repeat for a week until the lyrics make any sense. You're allowed to engage with it and can keep engaging with it until it means something to you. People will see a painting at a museum and laugh about not getting what the big deal is but like you can come back, you can see it at another time, and maybe that next time it'll be different for you. I'm of the belief the "media literacy crisis" would solve itself if more people just sat down and did it again. Watched, read, played, listened, etc like I don't think people are getting more ignorant necessarily I just think we're not glorifying personally replaying things nearly as much as we should be.

A manatee rescue that I follow responded to a call about a female manatee with two calves because one of her babies had been injured by a boat strike. The entire family was temporarily relocated from the wild into a wildlife rehab facility for the injured male calf to undergo treatment. While there, vets noted the female calf was significantly larger than the little injured male. They did genetic testing and determined that big sister calf actually wasn’t related to the other two manatees at all! She was in fact an orphan calf that the adult manatee had found and taken in to care for right alongside her own little one.
Wild to think this manatee calf was literally adopted and nobody would have ever known if it weren’t for random coincidence and human curiosity. Every animal that you cross paths with in life has a fascinating personal story that you’ll only ever catch a glimpse of (and that’s if you’re lucky).

The Internet has never been anonymous
A thought occured to me: The internet has always been VASTLY misunderstood, it has never been about anonymity, it has never been about entertainment nor business excluscively, it has had one thing that is incredibly important but misunderstood: The Internet is a place where you can Freely build new identities.
So, What does that mean? Well, In person your body, voice, mannerisms, are all you. Everyone will credit things they see those factors do, as you. But online, You don't see others bodies nor hear their voices. You can project your voice or put up your body, or even go out of your way to make the identity online as much you as possible.
But, inherently, You CREATE that identity online, tying it to you is just creating another identity that is as identical to you as possible and yet- xXFartFuckerXx is probably a real identity out there somewhere, someone RESPONDS to that name... EvilWizard is another Identity, Bettina Levy, Gawr Gura, Or even Skullzantza. None of these names are their real life names. None of these identities are a perfect match the person behind them, even if their personalities are the same, the identity is technically separate. And I find that cool! Online, you are free to create an identity to present however you want, be it silly, yourself IRL, or simply a foolish lonely succubus-*coughs blood* philosopher. But- This goes into a point where if you think about it, humans have the ability to create identities everywhere.
"Service Mode" can be an unfortunate common type of this, even when you aren't online and people see you in person, you can seem entirely separate an identity. Or like, how we differ from interacting with other people, create funny characters for roleplay or acting, etc.
But- A small aside to add now that this post is over: Personality, Persona, Identity, and Behavioral Patterns differ. To explain briefly:
Personality - The Primary Structure of an identity, being made from a Behavioral Pattern, Personas, Ideaologies, Likes and Dislikes, Emotional Responses, and Thought Patterns.
Persona - A set of expression to determine how to interact with a situation and/or circumstance. Includes a Behavioral Pattern and Thought Pattern, but is mostly a filter. When a Personality's core values are impacted enough to bypass the persona, the response may also bypass the persona and possibly cause a persona switch.
Behavioral Pattern - Simply a set of behaviors that can be called up on demand. Such as service mode having a permanent smile and being more static in their posture than normal, as well as stating specific lines that have been memorized.
Identity - This is a fully developed definition of something, especially a person but not exclusively. All that is required to be an identity is that it is a definition that includes behavioral and/or thought patterns. Example: Rocky the Rock is a rude man, he keeps showing up in my shoe to spite me.
Now- have fun!

Higher menopausal symptom burden linked to cognitive decline and behavioral impairments
Women who exhibit more menopausal symptoms are more likely to later have poorer cognitive function and mild behavioral impairments – both markers of dementia. That is the conclusion of a study of 896 postmenopausal females published March 5, 2025, in the open-access journal PLOS One by Zahinoor Ismail of University of Calgary, Canada, and colleagues.  Females are known to have a three-fold…
