This is going to be an unpleasant truth, but:
People will, and are allowed, to find you or things you do or the way you act annoying or upsetting or unpleasant.
What people are not allowed to do is treat you badly because of those things. But you cannot control the way people feel. You cannot force them to not feel those things.
Its just a fact of life. Everyone has sounds, sensations or things that annoy them or are unpleasant to experience. I can't stand the sound of children crying or screaming. It grates on every single nerve I have.
I'm entitled to feel that way. I can't help feeling that way. I can't just magically not be annoyed by screaming children anymore.
Your tics will irritate some people. Your anger outbursts will be upsetting to some people. Your endless rambling and interrupting or loud voice will be off-putting to some people.
And its perfectly fine. For you and for them.
You are who you are. Who you are will co-exist with some people and not with others. You deserve the opportunity to be authentic and the right to be comfortable, but so do other people, and people who put respectful distance between you and them are not being cruel.

Idk where to post this, but it has been on my mind for awhile and no one is understanding it or I get hate and attacked and I end up crying.
When I look at myself, I see traits that feel…wolfy? My jawline is sharp, my limbs are really long and lanky, my skin is pale, my eyes are kinda dead or smth and Hazel (relevant not rly) I have messy curly thick hair that never calms down. My ears even point a little at certain angles. I am being kinda delulu abt this I feel because I think i have the blood line of a werewolf…It just makes sense for me? I just have its body, its feelings. I always felt “bigger” than my friends and stuff. Physically bigger, usually I’m just normal. Idk what it is. It’s part of my bdd maybe??
I don’t think I look “normal” and I don’t feel it either 100% but im human like 90% or time :). I’m very “feral” it seems. wild in my emotions, when I was little until 8th grade, I never even took care of myself. No shoes, running outside, dirty mess. What even is a comb??
I have had a few “crash outs” during full moons recently. Getting physically rlly hot and angry (even hungry I think) and sensitive to a lot of things. I had it where I put it together on the blood moon. I even have had it when in overstimulated with a lot of sounds or feelings is when I can hear things closer than they are?? Like if someone is walking past me and talking it feels like they are yelling in my ear. Or a car driving farther from the parking lot it sounds like it’s right behind me. This probably has triggered this whole mess bc I was obsessed with werewolves as a kid.
When I cry sometimes it’s almost like a tick I make a whimper dog like whine when I’m upset? which I can’t replicate later easily. Maybe that’s normal crying sounds it’s just weird my throat tenses up. This could probably be normal :) When I was vegetarian for a while (hell) I was iron deficient ig rly bad cause I would have cravings for bones. Chewing on bones. Gnawing like no tomorrow. For the marrow :”). Obviously never did. Ofc meat cravings too but I’ve always had that. I even had dreams of eating meat during this time 😭
Speaking of dreams, I had a really creepy dream and I think part of it is my spiritual things I’m dealing with too. But in the dream, I was on my bedroom floor and praying. My window blinds were open and the moon was full and bright and stuff. I was praying bc I was spooked in the dream. I was on my hands and knees, and I heard wolves howling. They were so piercing but deep some how at once, and the trees were blowing and windy a lot. It was creepy.
I have spurts of energy mostly if I’m in the woods or something like that. “Run” and don’t go back. Run so fast the wind blows through your hair. The smell of the air. It’s the most amazing thing in the world actually. I literally have had points in my life of feeling like the woods are my home. I have some smaller mostly moody stuff that I can talk through comments if ppl want to or smth but that’s that gist.
!!I know I’m not gonna turn btw!!! I just don’t think
LATEST NOTE: this week there is a full moon for me and it was literally a roller coaster 8 days or so. The first part I was at a total emotional high? I have been expressing this side of me. Oh man. I felt so powerful, and confident, and I let my hair out and all that. Literally my crush is noticing me all of a sudden?? And I’m like pretty or smth to ppl? Then I got sick these past three days but I’m getting back into this new skin. It feels like it’s been eating for me to wear.

Some of my Sand Wraith headcanons
• They’re unable to go to high altitudes
• One of their natural predators are Singetails
• They eat almost exclusive costal fish; their favorites being Flatfish and Garfish
• They’re difficult to train
• They pair for life
• Mated pairs stop at nothing to protect their nests
• Their nests are made out of hardened sand
• Broad Wings can go without air for one hour and Titan Wings can go three hours without air
• Their heads and bodies are flat so they can bury themself under sand
• They nest on beaches or sandy plateaus
• They’re incredibly loyal
• They tend to be loners, spending time only with children or mates
• They’re similar enough to Night Furies that one can imprint on another easily
• They’re always slightly moist, leading to them being more vulnerable to the cold than most dragons
• Their nostrils on on top of their heads so they can breathe while buried
• They spread their wings completely flat while buried
• They spend, on average, half their lives buried
• They’re very elusive
• They can go a week without food
• They can eat up to 20 pounds of fish in one sitting
• They can flatten their spines against their head despite them being made of bone
• They have very short legs that seem to be able to flatten against their bodies
• They have low center of gravities
If you can’t tell, Sand Wraiths are my favorite

Hey so I saw your whole Omegaverse master list and can I request for you to write about soem headcanons for the feral state? :3
sure!!!
The feral state can be triggered a variety of ways, the most common being stress, anxiety, and sickness. (Trauma, whether witnessed or something they directly experienced, can also cause it. As can injury, grief, etc.) It causes a person to regress to purely instinctual behavior.
The specific cause and location they're in when triggered deeply effects their behavior while in the feral state. Being somewhere familiar with people they trust will provoke a lot different behavior than being somewhere unfamiliar (or even perceived as dangerous) with strangers.
When interacting with someone who's feral, there are a few things you want to keep in mind: move slowly and obviously, telegraphing your movements; speak calmly and gently, avoid loud or sudden noises if you can; and keep a close nose your scent to make sure you're not accidentally making it worse. Oh, and most importantly, try not to take your eyes off the feral person.
If the person is somewhere they feel safe and/or with people they trust, mostly all they're going to want is to be in a nest surrounded by those people. Scenting and being scented, cuddling, etc. An alpha or beta might want to patrol the territory a little, to make sure there are no threats, but mostly, they just want to reassure themselves that everything and everyone is safe, that they are safe. (If there are any pups in the pack, it's a good idea to make sure they're brought over quickly! Same if the person is particularly attached to any pack member, like a mate or sibling or friend, etc.)
Anything more exact than that will vastly depend by person!
If they are not somewhere they feel safe, the priority is to make sure someone they trust can be called. If no one knows someone they trust, its possible for them to latch onto a particularly pleasing scent until emergency services can arrive. Then they can be taken somewhere they can den / nest up until they come out of the state.
Feral states can last a couple of hours or even several days. Packs may rotate who stays with the person so that they can keep going as normal, but small packs will have a harder time with this.
People who are feral may have a limited understanding of language, or none at all. However, they still respond to non-verbal cues---like growls, yips, whimpers, keens, purrs, etc. They also respond to scent and body language cues.
Those in a feral state are also much more likely to resort to violence if they perceive someone as an intruder or threat. Most will growl in warning, and it's best to heed that as quickly as possible!
They're also much more likely to get attached to random pups, if adults. (Or, again, just random people if their scent is pleasing enough! Although this is more common with pups and adolescents. If someone they trust isn't nearby, they may latch onto the nearest compatible scent & end up with an imprint bond.)
That's all I can think of for the moment <3 Thank you for asking!

“Research has shown that fear-based discipline actually fosters the behaviors that parents are trying to eliminate. Such strategies teach children to be more resistant to parental authority and may alter their brain chemistry for life.” - Dr. Becky A. Bailey PhD in Easy to Love, Difficult to Discipline.

This is the type of subtle code switching that takes place in the mind of many black people doing business with other groups. The reason why positive and productive behavior and imagery is important to instill in society and break the stereotypes that are out here. Now a days there's no shame, and people will do anything for a dollar or an ounce of clout. Be well. Walk good. 🙌🏾✨️

To this day, I am still deciphering all the ways in which I was conditioned by relatives, so called "mentors" and "teachers" and the environments in which I was brought up. Give yourself a break while you work through these things. These things were not at all your fault. And you deserve to give yourself grace while working through them.

You are responsible for yourself, not others. You are responsible to others as part of your job, position, etc. You are not responsible FOR others. This means you are responsible for your own thoughts, actions, and behaviors. You are NOT responsible for the thoughts, actions, behaviors of others. There is a HUGE difference being responsible to another and being responsible for another.

TopSkills Thursday: Part 4
This week, in the executive dysfunction series, we’ll look more closely at an important area, managing finances. As always, these are ideas, and they may not work for you. Hopefully, they’ll spark some thoughts of your own. Whichever is the case, I hope you’ll at least be inspired to continue your search for solutions. Financial management is a hard topic to write about. Lest anyone think I…

Do or Do Not, There is no try
I think I need to make a plaque or something with this inscription because it really does seem to fit this season we are in around here. This can be applied to so many areas of our lives and to our parenting journeys… trust me I know about parenting challenges. I hear these things so many times from my kids… I tried but I couldn’t do it. I did make changes in my attitude but no one…
