Exploring the Benefits of Pet CBD Products: A Comprehensive Guide
In recent years, the use of CBD products for pets has gained significant attention among pet owners and veterinarians alike. As our understanding of CBD's potential benefits expands, so too does its application in the realm of pet wellness. From anxious pups to aging cats, pet CBD products offer a promising avenue for enhancing the quality of life for our beloved animal companions.
One of the most widely recognized benefits of CBD for pets is its potential to alleviate anxiety and stress. Many pet owners report significant improvements in their furry friends' demeanor after incorporating CBD into their daily routine. Whether it's separation anxiety, fear of loud noises, or general nervousness, CBD products can help promote a sense of calm and relaxation in pets, leading to a happier and more balanced life.
Moreover, Pet CBD Products have shown promise in managing pain and inflammation in animals, particularly those suffering from conditions like arthritis or injuries. CBD's anti-inflammatory properties can help reduce swelling and discomfort, allowing pets to move more comfortably and enjoy a better quality of life. Additionally, CBD may complement traditional pain management strategies, offering a natural alternative with potentially fewer side effects.
Tumblr media
In addition to anxiety and pain management, Pet CBD Products have also been explored for their potential in supporting overall wellness and vitality in pets. Some studies suggest that CBD may have antioxidant properties, which could help protect cells from damage and promote a healthy immune system. Furthermore, CBD's interaction with the endocannabinoid system in animals may contribute to improved appetite, digestion, and sleep patterns, all of which are vital aspects of pet health.
It's important to note that while Pet CBD Products offer many potential benefits, responsible use and proper dosing are crucial for ensuring safety and efficacy. Pet owners should consult with their veterinarian before incorporating CBD into their pet's regimen, as individual factors such as age, weight, and existing health conditions can influence the appropriate dosage and administration method.
When selecting Pet CBD Products, it's essential to choose high-quality products from reputable manufacturers. Look for products that have undergone third-party testing for potency and purity to ensure that they meet stringent quality standards. Additionally, opt for products specifically formulated for pets, as they are often flavored and dosed appropriately for their size and species.
In conclusion, Pet CBD Products have emerged as a promising natural solution for addressing various health and wellness concerns in pets. From anxiety and pain management to overall support for vitality and wellbeing, CBD offers a holistic approach to pet care that aligns with the growing trend towards natural and alternative therapies. By working closely with veterinarians and choosing high-quality products, pet owners can harness the potential of CBD to enhance the lives of their furry companions for years to come.

I am taking my lunch to get some treadmill time in... but also might need a vent. I am struggling with keeping my job but also scared of positions that would move me out of production. Without my OT I am just a salty cuss. Behind on everything and overwhelmed with assignments. I felt like they were fucking with me, even though we are supposed to have flex time AND make up time. They were trying to make me take PTO for some medical appointments. God damn, if I could just give up this job. 😪 I love it. I hate it. It is a very bipolar relationship.
What else? I am in the middle of some really heavy books (all borrowed so I have to give them return soon) and people keep interrupting my books.
And the friend that recently started yet another MLM business.... is now all over social media saying how great the opportunity is and blah blah blah. I am creating a boundary where I don't give her negative feedback, I don't want to hinder and progress she might be able to make.
But come on, man. It feels disingenuous at best. Inauthentic. Maybe I should hide her profile.
Maybe just everyone is annoying me?
Friends talking about going to the casino? Eh.
Why? Because my other friend has a fucking disastrous gambling addiction and is working himself to death. And everytime he makes a post about his winnings, I cringe. He has high interest loans out. Nothing i have said to him has gotten thru.
Every time I ask him to hang out, he is "working." But will definitely ask me to watch his dog so he can vacay. And now it is tax season, he has filed already and he is literally chomping at the bit to get his hands on that refund money. For a "vacation" weekend.
Jesus fucking christ man, get ahold of yourself. If you want to go, fine... but fucking save for it and stop messaging me, I have my own shit going on.
And me? I am feeling stuck since mom's illness last april. I need to get registered for classes again. 😩 I need to start making progress on something. I have plateaued weight wise and my mental state is just eh, when it should be burning with the fire of a thousand suns to fucking get this weight off. 😤
So what do I do? Go to Walmart and look at diet pills. (I am already on many things- but why am I compelled to keep looking??) I have a bunch of stuff that I struggle to use regularly enough for it to work properly.
I continue to be weighed down by the things that have been bothering me. Bills, school, taxes, work, clutter and I barely am making it from day to day and only then normally by the skin of my teeth, a happylight and a metric shitton of bergamot tea and anything else that will boost mood.
I have developed an affection for CBD products and I need to stop ordering it because it makes me eat stuff that I have purchased for mom. But it makes me feel good in the moment so I do it. 😱😱🤯👀

Does CBD work for pets? Ok for those not interested in the details. YES! CBD can be great for our four legged friends! A lot of you have likely heard a little about CBD for pets but there are still a lot of questions we need to ask. How can CBD help my pet? How should I administer it? What dosage is recommended? Why does it work? Can it be harmful? We have introduced our new pet line with 2 tinctures seperate flavors for Dogs & Cats: PET CBDAll great questions so let’s touch on each one. What are the benefits of CBD for pets?Promote General HealthReduce InflammationReduce PainIncrease appetiteReduce Anxiety (Social anxiety; Car anxiety; Veterinary fears; Thunderstorms; Separation anxiety)Alleviate Cancer related health problemsAlleviate OsteoarthritisAnticonvulsive effectsPalliative careNo toxicity or negative side effects *Unlike the damage incurred on the liver and kidneys with prescription medsHow Should I Administer CBD To My Pet?So this is a neat little fact that you may or may not be aware of. An animal’s biological system shares a 70% similarity to ours. Pretty cool! Also that endocannabinoid system that we all have and naturally produce cannabinoids in our brain…yes that’s part of the 70% and our furry friends have them too. So they can benefit from CBD just as much as we can. And administration is pretty similar to how we would take it. If your giving your pet a tincture you can either put the dropper directly into the dog’s mouth under his/her tongue (which could get a little hairy dependent on your dog) or you can just place it on your dog’s food just prior to consumption *That’s my personally preferred method but to each his own. The only thing you want to keep in mind if you have one of those dogs that’s just a grazer you’ll want to time putting the oil on his food around when she’s going to eat it because it will degrade if left on food for more than 30 minutes. It’s not the end of the world but if you planned on given him 10mg he could be getting only half of that or less. What is the correct dosage for my pets?So just like people there is no one size fits all. And there are some differences in pets as well. The way that a pet metabolizes CBD is a little bit different then people (it stays in their system longer). Also there has been some research showing negative side effects from THC in pets. No research has shown negative side effects from CBD. So why is THC potentially bad and CBD ok? Personally I don’t think either are bad it’s just a matter of proper dosing and the differences in metabolism. However, the psychoactive properties of THC can confuse and cause anxiety. Animals are more receptive to the cannabinoids and they can last longer in their system.Step 1:  Make sure that any CBD pet product you get is whole hemp processed (so all phytocannabinoids are in there), grown domestically in the good old USA (so we can be sure it’s free of pesticides), is 3rd party tested, and has less than .3% THC.Step 2: Weigh your dog and convert that weight to kg. Easier said than done for some. If you’re not sure and your German Sheppard doesn’t feel like getting on your scale today, make your best guess. All we are doing is getting a baseline to start with and you will adjust based on the effects. It works faster on animals than people so you’ll know quickly!Step 3: You want to start off giving your pet .3mg of active CBD for every kilogram of weight. So if your dog weighs 20lbs just convert that to Kg (20/2.2 = 9.09kg) Then multiply by .3 (9.09 x .3 = 2.7mg) So 3mg of  CBD would be a good daily starting point.Pets Weight (In Lbs)Weight (In Kg) Conversion (weight in kg x .3)Recommended Daily Dose5 lbs2.2720.6811mg CBD10 lbs4.5451.3631.5mg CBD15 lbs6.8182.0452mg CBD20 lbs9.092.7273mg CBD25 lbs11.3633.4093.5mg CBD30 lbs13.6364.094mg CBD35 lbs15.9094.7725mg CBD40 lbs18.1815.4545.5mg CBD45 lbs20.4546.1366mg CBD50 lbs22.7276.8187mg CBD55 lbs257.57.5mg CBD60 lbs27.2728.1818mg CBD65 lbs29.5458.8639mg CBD70 lbs31.8189.5459.5mg CBD75 lbs34.

After about 3-5 days, increase or decrease as necessary (lets say it makes your dog more sleepy during the day for example reduce dosage and give with dinner). Or perhaps your dog shows some improvement but not enough. Just increase the dosage by giving twice a day and repeat the 3-5 day assessment period. Why does CBD Work On My Pet?The same reasons CBD works for us. We all already create cannabinoids it’s part of your and your pets biological system. CBD triggers the release of cannabinoids into the endocannabinoid system in animals which then attach to the same CB1 and CB2 receptors we have, but for a longer period of time which likely accounts for the increased effectiveness we hear about in individual reports. Can it be harmful?  The great thing about CBD is that there are no toxicity levels found to date. Your dog could accidently get into your CBD stash and while she may poop it out or take a long nap no research has shown negative side effects to date and I have not been able to find any case studies that didn’t involve THC. No liver damage and no kidney damage unlike what is currently being promoted and pushed.Promotes Overall Animal Health:CBD taken at low levels on a daily basis can certainly promote your Pets’ overall health and have a positive impact on his or her day to day life. From reducing inflammation to aiding in social anxiety situations CBD can benefit your pet. We would certainly recommend a daily dose. And as always with anything we read or review there is more knowledge that we need to seek and more research conducted! https://mirthemp.com/does-cbd-work-for-pets/?feed_id=15175&_unique_id=6393bffcc09a0 #CBDforPets

It’s Only Been 7 Days:
Apparently, my last post was 7 days ago. It feels much longer than that. I don’t even remember what I last wrote about. That is likely contributing to the feeling that it’s been such a long time. Anyway, I digress…
Let’s get the MBC out of the way:
My lung inflammation (pleurisy) has improved significantly! I can take deeper breaths, I can move more freely. However, sneezing fits seem to re-aggravate things.
I have started my 2nd cycle of Kisqali; I’m on week 2. One left until my off week.
I should be happier about some of my tumors shrinking, but I am left with weird “IDGAF” feelings.
My medical marijuana card was approved and mailed to me. I have since visited a dispensary. This shit is going to be a lot of trial and error. The gummies I was taking prior to my card approval were pure THC. Apparently, this provides a different type of “high” than a product called a 1:1. A 1:1 is one part THC and one part CBD. The idea being the CBD will counteract some of the THC effects. Therefore, when I am taking these tinctures, it feels like nothing is happening, because I am used to the “high” from the THC-only product. While I’ve felt like nothing is happening, I’ve had a few problems with oversleeping because the effects of the 1:1 are keeping me asleep. I called and spoke to a “guide” (for lack of better wording) to advise how I should proceed with the tinctures. I should take them much sooner than I do now (currently, 10pm or later) and take them well before I start my bedtime routine (as early as 8pm).
I have an oncology appointment on Friday. I am interested in what my doctor will have to say after reviewing the scans from my ER visit and if there will be any changes to my treatment.
My surgery is 18 days away and I feel like I have a list as long as the Great Wall of China of things to do before then. I am also nervous. I don’t want anything to go wrong during the procedure. I feel like I am putting a heavy burden on my sister-in-law that day and I know my health has been causing her some anxiety already. It will be ok. It HAS to be.
It’s Friday I’m in [LIKE]:
I was able to see “E” on Friday. <insert silly, smiley face here> I didn’t think that we’d manage a visit as he traveled to his parents’ for his birthday this weekend. The short story is Friday was nice and low-key. I even had gifts awaiting me (stickers for my medical book (incredibly thoughtful and funny)). We watched episodes of “I am a Stalker” and “Nailed It!” and had Chinese food for dinner. The dog is still very uncertain of my presence, but snuggles next to me at bedtime. I mustn’t be that terrible if the dog sleeps next to me. The best part of the visit was finally having our FIRST kiss. Gosh, I’m such a girl sometimes.
Things are progressing well for us and I’m hesitant to disrupt the relationship and the dynamic with the inevitable “what-are-we” conversation. So, I’m skipping it. I just want to be happy. Why disrupt the positive nature of our situation to “define the relationship”? I’m not ready to do that yet. I’m not ready to let go if the outcome isn’t what I want it to be. However, conversations about holiday gift-giving (I already got the dog a Christmas present and I think I am more excited about it than he will be), constant communication, and being called “Sunshine”, make me think I’m being too pessimistic for my own good.
I likely won’t see “E” until December now. Thanksgiving and distance make it difficult for us to try to plan seeing each other this week. But, distance makes the heart grow fonder. Or so “they” say.
Random Ramblings:
Figuring out MM would be great.
I bought a weighted blanket, but need to wash it and shit before I can use it.
I also got Bailey a Christmas present - hers is pretty great too!
I started Christmas shopping (obviously); and have of course bought myself something each time I purchased something. (Shrugs Shoulders).
I had my Tarot Cards read. It was an interesting experience. I might get my palm read next.
I’m still scared.
El Fin.

Choosing the Right CBD Oil
Tumblr media
Opt for High-Quality Products
Select CBD oil made specifically for pets to ensure safety and effectiveness. Look for products that are organic, free from pesticides, and have undergone third-party testing.
Check the Ingredients
Make sure the CBD oil contains no harmful additives or fillers. The best products will list all ingredients clearly and provide information on the CBD concentration.
Consider Full-Spectrum vs. Isolate
Full-spectrum CBD oil includes a range of cannabinoids and terpenes, which can enhance its effects. CBD isolate, on the other hand, contains pure CBD without other compounds. Choose based on your dog's needs and preferences.
Dosage and Administration
Start with a Low Dose
Begin with a small dose of CBD oil to see how your dog reacts. Gradually increase the amount if needed. A general guideline is 1-2 mg of CBD per 10 pounds of body weight.
Monitor Your Dog’s Response
Keep an eye on your dog’s behavior and health after starting the best cbd for dogs. Look for improvements in symptoms or any adverse reactions. Adjust the dosage as needed based on your observations.
Administer Consistently
For the best results, give CBD oil to your dog consistently. Administer it daily and at the same time each day to maintain stable levels in their system.
Tips for Successful Use
Mix with Food or Treats
If your dog is picky about taking CBD oil, mix it with their food or favorite treats. This can help mask the taste and make administration easier.
Use a Dropper for Accuracy
Most CBD oils come with a dropper for precise dosing. Use the dropper to measure out the correct amount of oil and ensure your dog gets the appropriate dose.
Store Properly
Keep CBD oil in a cool, dark place to maintain its potency. Ensure the bottle is tightly sealed and stored out of reach of pets and children.
Consulting with Your Veterinarian
Seek Professional Advice
Always consult with your veterinarian before starting CBD oil, especially if your dog is on other medications or has health conditions. Your vet can provide personalized recommendations and help monitor your dog’s progress.
Discuss Potential Interactions
Inform your vet about any other treatments or medications your dog is receiving. They can help you understand potential interactions and adjust dosages if necessary.

What is Cannabis Poisoning in Dogs?
Cannabis poisoning occurs when a dog ingests cannabis, leading to a range of symptoms that can affect their health. Dogs can be exposed to cannabis through various means, such as eating edibles, inhaling smoke, or consuming discarded cannabis products.
Is Cannabis Toxic to Dogs?
Yes, cannabis is toxic to dogs. The primary psychoactive component in cannabis, THC, can have harmful effects on dogs. While CBD, another component, is often considered less harmful, it can still cause adverse reactions in pets.
How Do Dogs Get High?
Dogs get high when THC binds to cannabinoid receptors in their brain and nervous system. This interaction leads to behavioral changes, such as lethargy, disorientation, and loss of coordination.
Symptoms of Cannabis Poisoning in Dogs
Common symptoms of cannabis poisoning in dogs include:
Lethargy: Dogs may appear unusually tired or sluggish.
Disorientation: Dogs can seem confused, unsteady, or have trouble walking.
Dilated Pupils: Enlarged pupils are a common indicator.
Drooling: Excessive salivation is often observed.
Vomiting: Nausea and vomiting can occur.
Tremors or Seizures: In severe cases, dogs may experience muscle tremors or seizures.
Incontinence: Loss of bladder control is another possible symptom.
The severity of these symptoms can vary depending on the amount of cannabis ingested.
Immediate Steps to Take if Your Dog Ingests Cannabis
If you suspect your dog has ingested cannabis, take these immediate steps:
Stay Calm: Panicking can make the situation worse.
Remove Access: Ensure your dog cannot access more cannabis.
Call Your Vet: Contact your veterinarian or an emergency animal hospital for guidance.
Monitor Symptoms: Keep a close eye on your dog's symptoms.
Diagnosis of Cannabis Poisoning in Dogs
Veterinarians diagnose cannabis poisoning through a combination of physical examination and diagnostic tests, such as blood tests and urinalysis. Accurate diagnosis is crucial for effective treatment.
Treatment for Cannabis Poisoning in Dogs
Treatment typically involves supportive care, including:
Inducing Vomiting: To remove any remaining cannabis from the stomach.
Activated Charcoal: To absorb toxins.
IV Fluids: To prevent dehydration.
Monitoring: Close observation for severe symptoms like seizures.
Preventing Cannabis Poisoning in Dogs
Preventing cannabis poisoning involves:
Safe Storage: Keep cannabis products out of reach of pets.
Proper Disposal: Dispose of cannabis waste securely.
Education: Inform household members about the risks of cannabis to pets.
Long-Term Effects of Cannabis Poisoning in Dogs
While most dogs recover fully from cannabis poisoning, severe cases can lead to long-term health issues, such as neurological damage. Early and effective treatment improves the prognosis.
Myths and Misconceptions
Common myths include:
Myth: "Cannabis is safe for dogs in small amounts." Fact: Even small amounts can be harmful.
Myth: "CBD is completely safe for dogs." Fact: CBD can still cause adverse reactions and should be used cautiously.
Conclusion
Cannabis poisoning in dogs is a serious issue that requires awareness and preventive measures.
