got my grades back for my courses last semester and most of it was to be expected, mostly A's, maybe an A-, etc. but i honestly can't get over the fact that my independent study (the buddy cole documentary) was for some reason given a B. like sure getting a B isn't bad per se, I usually get at least one B every semester and i honestly don't really care about what my exact gpa is as long as i can graduate, but come on. this school put me through months of psychological torment over this project and didn't even have the nerve to give me a B+??? i'm still coping with the self-doubt they forced on me and this bullshit is not helping!!

#honestly it's kind of hilarious ngl. especially bc i also got my documentary work counted as an independent study the previous semester #and the previous semester even tho i barely worked on the doc itself #(mostly just planning and putting together the crowdfunding which was still a lot of work but like compare it to the past few months)#they were willing to give me an A (my school doesn't do A+ so this is the highest mark possible)#vs this semester. like i'll admit my final assignment was late and could have been more polished #but i was literally on tour in documentary-mode 24/7 for several weeks. i filmed an entire comedy special! i put together a live interview!#not to mention having to fucking negotiate with my own college censoring the footage they'd promised me of an event i put together #and play nice with a professor who literally outed me on twitter in an attempt to cancel one of my best friends #at this point the ''B'' feels more like a petty grudge than anything else #like ok we can't get away with *actually* fucking over jessamine's grades bc clearly ze did do the work. but let's just give zir a B #like i will admit the audio quality in my final isn't great. and i could have used more polished footage in some sections #but counterpoint: 100+ students were arrested at a protest while i was editing and i was having a mental breakdown #the fact that i finished *anything* is goddamn impressive especially after they essentially conditioned me to hate myself any time i was #working on a project i loved!!!#due to the aforementioned student arrests my college did put out an option where we could change any letter grade this semester to pass/fai #so anything passing wouldn't impact our gpa if we didn't want it to. so i could just change the B to a ''pass''#but really what's the point. ''B'' is still a good grade and my GPA is fine (3.65 on a 4.0 grading scale. 2.0 is required to graduate)#it just sucks that after what i went through last semester i feel like nobody takes it seriously #i was reminiscing earlier about how it's honestly kind of funny how after that professor outed me on twitter #i was at the hotel with scott like an hour later sobbing and having an existential crisis about my relationship to gender #and scott was so supportive but also awkwardly being like #''i know i should offer the crying child a tissue but where the fuck are the tissues in this room what do i do''#and he just handed me a full-on towel instead like oh my god he was trying his best but also so clearly out of his depth #but of course i then had to remember how when i told that story to a different professor to be like ''this is how much scott cares about me #this guy called me fucking UNPROFESSIONAL for crying in front of the subject of my documentary?????????#like yeah maybe so but how DARE you call me unprofessional when a different professor tweeted my full name and gender without my consent #in an attempt to fucking cancel one of my friends for ''misgendering'' me for using pronouns i'm fine with him using!!!#i don't think i'm ever going to be able to forgive my college and i don't know how i'll be able to get through one more semester #that experience genuinely changed things about my psychology that i'm not proud of and i need to work through #so if i have to miss a goddamn kids in the hall event because i have class this november i am going to set something on fire

i always have so much fun reading the s class that i raised

#the s classes that i raised #huh apparently its plural. makes sense but still i alwyas forget that #.... our blonde bitch appeared again and you know what i like seeing him #the way the comedy of the story plays off of him is always great #he is a characther in the sense that he is batshit insane and thats fun to read #our mc is fun regardless but when blondie shows up it often shifts the vibe to where im like #ah yes the person that catches on and just doubles down on your bullshit lies. an important dynamic #like sometimes you just need someone to come over see your fib go Ah. and then play along #our mc loterally radiates the older sibling special vibes of Play along #i know because i saw the look he gave and ive given that look to my brother many times #i think you jsut randomly develop it the second you get a younger brother #its not that little brothers get it because they dont #but ive seen both me and my best friend who has a little brother give it #like its not a smile or anything its literally a look and i receive it loud and clear #and like even when you know it will come out of your nose and youll pay the price for this favor its still nice

having an existential crisis because i can't decide if i should drop an irresponsible amount of money to meet some internet guys i've been fixated on since i was a teenager or be normal

#like i am doing it for 15 year old me who drew cat whiskers on her face and went to school like that #(also drew them on my best friend that i was totally not a little in love with)#yes this is about dan and phil again stick with the program #and when doing the math...a single gold vip ticket (w/o fees) adds up to about how much i make on a single sunday at work #the mental gymnastics i have to do to justify it are really quite minimal #but my anxiety about money is immense so...the horrors consume me nonetheless #there are two wolves inside of me:#one hates the idea of having to pay for human interaction on any scale #the other understands this is their job and all work deserves to be paid #there is also the horrible reality that i am going to die poor no matter what i do! so i might as well have some good silly fun while i can #and my friend agreed to go with me even though she simply does not care about them anywhere near as much as i do #and i fully plan to pay for like...half of her ticket to make up for it...#so...a little ouchy on the wallet...but also silly and fun and something i will probably never get the chance to do again #personal #secret controversial fear is i love their yt content but i fear what the live show will be like i hate stand up and most comedy specials...#what am i signing up for

i had a mutual obsessed with community a few yrs ago where are they now when i need them most.... i finished my rewatch the other day and it won't stop rotating around my brain

#i don't watch many shows and while it does def miss the mark sometimes i think it's the best take i've seen on edgy/dark comedy #bc the jokes are very much at the expense of people who actually do that shit. and bc the show is about becoming better more loving ppl #the character writing is so good too (glancing at abed) i love seeing an autistic character who flourishes Because of his special interests #and oftentimes is the reason why a lot of his nt friends can talk things out because he can make these fantastical scenarios for them-#that they cannot so they can work their issues out #horrible show. obsessed with it. please never watch it #cat's musings #a homebaked post

this boy. gosh, this boy will never not melt her heart, erin thinks as a hint of sheer wonderment reaches her bright blue eyes, making them twinkle with joy. a smile as warm as the sun outside tugs at the corners of her lips and lights up her entire face. motherhood can be overwhelming and incredibly stressful at times, all the tantrums and sleepless nights, the why’s and how’s, but it’s all worth it in the end. after all, she never thought, not even in her wildest dreams, that she’d receive such a sweet, heartfelt birthday present. instantly, she scoops her son up into her arms, refusing to acknowledge he’s already eight years old and soon she most likely won’t be able to pick him up, and sits him on her lap. arms curling around his body as she plants at least a dozen of kisses on his cheek, she squeezes him close to her and basks in the warmth of his skin. ❝ did you draw this all by yourself? ❞ she asks with a sweet smile, gently moving the chocolate away as she picks up the drawing to take a closer look at it.

❝ oh, wow! it’s me! you drew a picture of mommy! i even have blue eyes and brown hair and… i’m wearing the cutest pink dress in the world! this is so beautiful! the most beautiful picture in the whole wide world! ❞ she praises in a sing-song voice, resting her chin on her son’s shoulder as she marvels at the picture in her hands. the attention to detail is truly impressive. she wouldn’t trade this piece of art for any of da vinci or van gogh’s paintings, wouldn’t trade it for anything. this is way better, way more exquisite and gorgeous, way more meaningful. ❝ can mommy frame it and put it on the wall like they do in art galleries? ❞ she asks, tracing the pretty heart with her fingertip. her nose begins to tingle and eyes fill up with tears of happiness as she struggles to keep her emotions at bay. he’s too pure for this world, too precious. ❝ and you even made sure to give me my favorite candy?! what?! ❞ and suddenly it is. it really is her favorite candy. days old and with the wrapper slightly torn — it’s clearly been through a lot, but she doesn’t mind. nothing’s ever looked quite as delicious to her before. ❝ this is the best birthday present ever! thank you so, so, so much, sebastian rose, ❞ she murmurs, hugging her son while also showering his face with kisses. what did she do to deserve this sweet angel?

I think I experienced anxiety recently...

You know that feeling when you're getting worried?

I was about to go to bed last night, then I felt anxious and uneasy, even though there was nothing wrong. My heart started beating fast and I couldn't sit still.

I literally felt my chest beating and it was so uncomfortable, almost painful but not really.

#I think it was from the stress I felt from the start of this term #I can tell I'm tired but I'm pushing myself #I called my mom and told me to try and relax and breathe deeply #she wasn't home but luckily she picked up the phone #She also told me to entertain myself and get my mind off from the stress so I just watch some comedy specials on youtube #It kinda worked but I just went ahead and tired myself to sleep #I did not like that at all #IDK what to think of that experience but I don't wanna feel that again #I'm just gonna try to balance my responsibilities and time for myself this time #text #rmf speaks #Im trying to be optimistic as best as I can #cause i couldn't really do anything but move forward and make my experience as good as possible
