He wasn’t always undead, there was a time when Billy Butcherson lived a normal life one of the the upperclass family’s in New Salem. Echo Isle had many of them and his was proud of be one of the first, even helping to make it into what the Isle is today. Not only did his family love him but he was practically assured a bright future between their wealth and his parent’s involvement with getting the town on its feet. Billy was destined for something wonderful until, he wasn’t. It all started to go downhill when he started to get involved with the Sanderson Sisters. Even though he was well off he made decisions that were reckless and Billy was known to be quite the womanizer. Winifred Sanderson was another girl that fell for the charm, where he kissed her in the graveyard as children and thought nothing of it, to her it was so much more. While he tried to play it cool, her obsession with him grew and rumors were being spread around that they were together, all of which couldn’t be farther from the truth. Of course, he never let these get to him and continued on as he normally would drinking, partying, and having a good time. In fact, that’s where he got entangled with another of the sisters, Sarah. Now she was beautiful and he figured a one time thing wouldn’t be any harm but he couldn’t have been more wrong. It wasn’t long after that party when the whispers started that the sisters were witches. True or not, that was something Billy wanted nothing to do with and cut ties with them entirely. Winifred  was displeased to hear this and even more so after finding out of his relations with her sister. When they were thrown from the town and into the woods he believed he’d found peace, finally, after all these years of having to fake smiles for them. Billy was ready to move on but Winnie had other plans. She returned to revenge, luring him out one night to be attacked by a vampire and trapped in this life forever.  

He was devastated, wanting nothing more than to die but being prevented from doing so entirely. Instead he was forced to watch his entire family pass while he never aged a day, going through different excuses as to who he was and where he came from until people had almost forgotten about the Butchersons' entirely. His claims of being a relative were believed easier and easier as generations passed, all while he quietly awaited the day where he could get Winifred back for what she’d done seeing as though they vanished after changing him into this immortal. They finally made a reappearance one fateful night when Max Dennison lit the Black Flame candle and released them once again. Billy did what he could that night to help Max, Dani, Binx, and Allison, thinking they actually defeated the witches once and for all. And yet he was still stuck in this life, now watching another group of people grow older while he stayed the same. It’s been many years since that Halloween Night and he’s settled into a bit of a normal life here in Echo Isle. He lives a comfortable life with the entire Butcherson fortune having gone to time and has even invested in a bar to have something to do when he’s bored. All the years of the same old thing have grown tired, though he is trapped in mundane life for eternity and there is simply nothing he can do about it. Even the things that once brought him happiness don’t spark the joy they used to. Billy has so many reasons to die and yet so few left to live.

From the day he was born, Ronno was sure of himself and his place in the world. His family had money, he had no siblings to hinder him, and he was always assured of his greatness. While his father was often absent due to work, Ronno's mother raised him, and he loved her more than anyone. She made sure to affirm all the things that people hated about him. Instead, he was rewarded for his merciless and selfish behavior because he believed it would eventually help him follow in his father's footsteps. It was no surprise to anyone when Ronno grew up to be a mirror image of his absent father. Given that his parents' marriage was unhappy, the divorce that followed his father's infidelity was also expected. Ronno was expected to inherit all the money and the business until it was revealed that he had been involved with someone who had magic. However, Ronno did not forget, and he developed a growing hatred for his father and the magic that had broken his mother's heart. He took it upon himself to transform the family business into something bigger and better than before. Unlike his father, Ronno aspired to take the business to the next level. This also led him to get involved in shady dealings, including his association with the hunters.

Ronno began to view magic as disastrous, as it had destroyed his family's fabric, and he did not want others to suffer the same fate. Although a part of him believed he was doing the right thing, he was unwilling to entertain the idea that magic might not be all bad. Once Ronno gets an idea in his head, it is difficult to dissuade him. As his mother has grown older, Ronno continues to take care of her, using the money he earns from his thriving business to ensure she has the best of everything. Although he knows her health is declining, he avoids thinking about it and often denies discussing it, as he is not ready to accept the inevitable passing of his mother. Instead, he throws himself into his work, believing that his success will somehow heal her, which includes his involvement with the hunters. Ronno is on a quest to find magic that can help his mother and has been dedicating most of his free time to this pursuit. After all the harm that magic has caused, he believes this is the least it can do, especially now that the borders are closed. Ronno sees it as an opportunity to hunt while everyone is stuck on the Isle together, and he does not take kindly to being denied what he wants.
