Hoya there bud✌️ How's your week so far? Mine was hectic, multiple exams in a day for 3 days straight on top of numbers of assignment admission needed to do. One cooked electronics test and one hopeful Thermal exam (others are mehhh😌), and end with postponed assignment dateline (let's goooo)

Being a dance teacher isn't exactly where you thought you would be 5 years ago (Your computer science degree is a constant reminder that you had much different aspirations), but it's fun and it pays the bills so you're not exactly complaining.

"Teacher! Can we take a picture with you?"

Plus, you get attention from cute girls that never gave you the time of day when you were a student. You have a wonderful girlfriend at home that you would never think about cheating on, but again, you're not complaining about the extra attention. They are responsible for putting food on your table, so you do feel a little indebted to them.

It's just a simple picture. What could go wrong?

"Baby~! I'm home!" You call out as you enter your apartment. You expect to hear a flurry of excited footsteps followed by your girlfriend's smiling face, but all you're met with is the TV playing in the background and a cold "Welcome back" echoing from the couch.

A torrent of questions and worries fill your head with each step towards the couch. Is she okay? Did something bad happen to her? Is she sick?

"Minji? Are you y- Oh wow." Your jaw drops in awe as your gaze falls upon the beauty that's sitting on your couch. One of the things you love about Minji is her tomboyish charm, which often presents itself through her fashion sense. Jeans over skirts, converse over high heels, she'll often rummage through your closet if she's not feeling anything in her own. However, when she does dress up, it feels like the moon and the stars align to create the most beautiful being in the entire galaxy.

Normally, you would enjoy seeing her like this, but the clear grimace on her face only makes you feel worried.

"Are you okay? What's wrong?" You sit down next to her, but Minji scoots away, placing a pillow in between the two of you without so much as a glance in your direction. Your heart shatters into a million pieces as your mind races for a possible reason behind her behavior. It's not your anniversary, nor is it her birthday. Maybe it's her parents birthday? She wouldn't get this mad if you forgot that, right?

As your gaze falls to the ground in defeat, you notice her phone turned onto a familiar looking picture. She snatches her phone away, but not before you're able to take a good look at it

She was looking at the selfie you took with your female students.

You turn to look at her, but she hides her face behind her hair. "Baby~" You call out to her, reaching for her hand, but she doesn't budge.

"Are you mad?" No answer.

You collapse face first into the space next to her, feeling absolutely crushed. Minji knows how much you hate the silent treatment, yet here she is, using it against you.

"Okay, I'm sorry. I'll never talk to another woman again. I won't even look at any other woman. Just please talk to me, Minji," you groan, your voice muffled by the couch cushions. After a second, you hear a stifled chuckle followed by the feeling of her delicate hands ruffling your hair.

"You don't have to do that much," she says, a small grin evident in her tone. You quickly sit up to look at her, relieved that you finally get to hear her sweet voice again.

"I'm sorry if I upset you with the picture-"

"No no, it's fine," she assures you, an apologetic look in her eye. "I just... I got a little jealous, I guess. They're all really pretty, and I-"

"Don't even finish that sentence," you interrupt. You grab her hand, lacing your fingers with hers, and plant a firm kiss on her cheek. "You are beautiful, Minji, more beautiful than anyone else in the entire world. I wish I could give you my eyes just so you could see how beautiful you truly are to me."

You pause, suddenly connecting the puzzle pieces in your mind. "Is that why you're wearing a dress?"

Her cheeks suddenly turn a bright pink as she averts her gaze to the ground. "I-I..." The silence is answer enough.

"Baby..." You pull her into you, wrapping your arms around her torso in a warm embrace. "If you want to wear a dress, you should do it for you, not because you want to make yourself look pretty for me. I like the way you dress, it's one of the reasons I fell in love with you. I think you're really cool."

Minji chuckles warmly, nuzzling her head into your chest. "Thanks, babe. I think you're pretty cool too."

With a wide grin on your face, you lie back on the couch with Minji resting on top of you, so warm and light. She smiles at you before placing a gentle kiss on your cheek, sending your heart into a frenzy. You have a busy day tomorrow that you should probably prepare for, but right now, all you want to do is lay on the couch and watch TV with your girlfriend.

For the past two months they had been hyping it up for him, getting his hopes up.

He should have expected it though.

They are really busy.

They don't have time to stop and throw a stupid party for him, he didn't even want a party though.

He just wanted a day with them.

They told him how they were gonna do fun stuff he enjoyed but (name) supposed that wasn't happening anytime soon.

"Better do my homework, not like I have plans anyways"

(Name) didn't tell his dad's they forgot, not wanting to seem whiny or anything but after a week he just decided to move on despite the pain in his chest.

"Have you noticed (name) seems a little down lately?" Mochi asked Takeomi who grunted in agreement "he's acting like someone killed his dog or something" takeomi commented as their teenage son did his homework quietly, bags under his eyes.

"What day is it again?" Ran asked as he checked the calendar on the first of two fridges, the men barely have been home to check the family plans.

"Oh it's (date)" Kakucho said as he came in to grab a bottle of water, the others watching ran freeze as he looked at a circled date on the calendar "...shit"

"What?" The others looked at the calendar and held an expression of guilt before glancing at their kid.

Oh god.

They forgot his birthday.

And they hyped it up so much!

Just to crush that hope.

(Name) never asked for much, even as a baby he only really wanted quality time and got them to hang out with him sometimes.

God they felt like monsters.

No wonder (name) was so down!

"We have to make it up to him!"

"Get the others, meet in the home meeting room" and with that one half of the dad squad went and collected the rest, glancing at the teenager.

"Why didn't he say anything?" Koko asked as they sat at the table and Sanzu scoffed at him "seriously? Somehow we managed to make the most polite kid in the world, he would never call us out on forgetting"

"How the fuck do we make this up to him? We literally crushed his spirit!"

"We will figure something out!"

The men walked into the living room where (name) sat, still doing his homework and God did they feel like assholes.

"Oi! Come with us" Rindō said seriously and (name) looked confused as he walked to his dad's, handed his shoes "what's going on?" (Name) asked softly as he was brought to the expensive car "don't worry about it kiddo" Kakucho said patting his back as they drove off.

(Name) was confused, though never scared.

He never had a reason to be scared of his dad's.

Even when Sanzu was in a drug crash.

They drove through Tokyo till they made it to a diner.

He hadn't been to the diner in ages, it's where they would take turns taking him as a small child when they would collect him from preschool and parts of grade school.

Some of his fondest memories were at this diner.

And Sanzu would never admit it but he would always share his cheesecake with little (name), making him promise to keep it a secret that he shared.

Mikey was the same with his food, though less secretive.

"...what's going on?" (Name) asked softly and Ran sighed "we're sorry"

"Sorry for what?"

"Forgetting your birthday"

(Name) very obviously closed up and mumbled "it's fine, you're all busy"

"It's not fine, we built it up to be great and crushed your hopes, this is the beginning of us making it up"

And they kept to their word, taking (name) anywhere he wanted to go.

And they promised themselves and (name) to not do that to him again.

They didn't want him to face the disappointment they faced countless times before from their own families.

And I want to share mine about RC9GN characters I really fond of (mostly Theresa in my "Meaning On Earth" vision)

4. Julian actually tries to copy Theresa's "pre-trauma" style and even personality (because they were very close back then) as a tribute to her past self.

5. Theresa's birthday is on 25th of July, so her zodiac sign is Leo.

6. Theresa's original hobby was playing guitar and piano.

7. After the trauma, Theresa's step dad used her situation, and made her a member of baton twirling team.

8. Theresa was born in England and then moved to USA.

9. Norrisville (in my AU of course) is located in the Washington State, somewhere near Seattle.

10. Theresa used to play bass in a Heidi's band

11. Theresa is left handed. Sometimes uses her right hand as a habit.

12. Theresa didn't talk before she turned 6 years old, so she was diagnosed with autism.

13. Theresa's favorite number is 13. She always thought that this number is lucky for her.

14. Der Monster Klub was formed mainly because Julian wanted to "return back old Theresa".

15. Because of the head trauma, she has to take the painkillers to ease the headaches.

MORE FLORA RAMBLES LETS GOOOO let's talk about their first date w/ luci bc I'm in that mood today lmao

So. Flora has been at the hotel for about.... 6-7 months now. They've been through a bunch of stuff with the gang, including another extermination lead by Lute and Lucifer's twin brother, Michael.

They've developed a nice sort of friendship with Lucifer at this point. They both trust each other a lot (Flora has more than proven themselves at this point to him, especially after they cleaned house in the last extermination), and they both look out for each other.

Flora knows at this point they're crushing hard, but tends to push down their feelings, because a) they have an important job to do and b) it's not like Lucifer would just leave his wife, who he's been with for 10,000+ years, just to be with them.

And then. The flirting starts.

At first, it's small stuff-- little things could be dismissed as compliments or off handed jokes.

But soon, Lucifer starts getting.... bolder. He starts placing gentle little touches to their wrist or their back. He drops every conceivable line you can imagine. He smiles at them in a particular way, with a certain look in his eyes that they can't make sense of.

Then, one day, Flora notices something about him. Something they can't believe they missed.

His wedding band was gone.

Flora doesn't really know what it means, or how long ago he took it off, but it does get a reaction out of them, turning their face pink as they think of the possibilities.

Lucifer clocks their reaction immediately. He takes this as his chance.

"Hey, so like... I was just wondering. Are you, seeing anybody right now?"

Flora blinks, their brain struggling to catch up. "Oh-- no, not... not really."

Lucifer gives them that smile then, gently rubbing circles on the back of their hand. "Would you like to?" He asks, his eyes having that look they can't decipher in them again.

They are so caught off guard, but they tell him yes anyway.

Their date is the following week, and on the days leading up to it, Flora agonizes over it. Mainly, their outfit. They want to impress him, after all!

(Not that it mattered much, Flora could have shown up in a sweatshirt and some jeans and they would have been the prettiest thing in the room to him, lmao)

They end up dressing up just the right amount, as Lucifer takes them to a private little spot where a select few are allowed to go, namely overlords and various royalties. They have dinner, and spend the whole night chatting together. He tells them all kinds of stories from his time in hell, from the great war, to cute stories of Charlie from when she was a baby.

After dinner, Lucifer takes them back to Morningstar Manor, and shows them the almost endless library his family had.

"When Charlie was little," he says, a fondness to his voice, "she had a bit of a knack for reading. So, for her birthday, I made her this place... and for a long time, I think it served as a place of solace for her. I hope it did." He pauses, watching Flora take in the place with a look of wonder on their face. "It hasn't seen much use the last couple years, and I know you like books, so... I thought you'd like it."

Flora looks back to him, feeling happier than they had in a long, long time. No one had ever done something like this for them before. "Thank you." They say, sounding really happy.

They head back to the hotel after that, and Lucifer, not wanting the night to end, invites them up to his suite and this is where it gets a little spicy.

They sit and talk for a bit, but eventually they end up getting a little closer than Flora realized, and they freeze. Lucifer takes the initiative and makes the first move.

"Flora," he says, hand reaching up and touching their cheek, "could I kiss you?"

Flora feels their heartbeat pick up, and they subconsciously lean into his touch. "Please," they say, almost sounding like they're begging him.

He wastes no time, immediately claiming their lips, and they cling to him. He holds them to his torso, his fingers threading carefully into their hair. Flora gasps at the feeling of the slight tug.

He shivers, deepening the kiss gently.

They part for air, and Flora feels like their heart is going to explode.

"Lord," he breathes, "you have no idea how long I've wanted to do that."

They make out for a while (Luci def leaves some marks on their neck) but they don't get much more intimate than though.

(Lucifer really, really wanted to, but he actively didn't because if does go that far with Flora, he wants it to be special. Something he dedicates the whole night to.)

That'd pretty much where it ends-- Lucifer walks them back to their room and gives them one last kiss and tells them good night.

Flora doesn't sleep that night. They're too hyperactive.

Exams were so stressful but you made my used-to-be izone bias so fuckable compelling that I forgot how awful life has been for my school days..

Time flies, and life is such a bitch, innit? Now I'm grown to be a better man, as a result of your stories and your existence, I can't help but be more grateful about it.

Though your stories have become a forever nostalgia for me, I hope it will be the same for you too, dear writer. I wish you to have a happy birthday, happy as what my life used to be... when izone was not disbanded.

Life can be difficult and fast, but it doesn't have to be a miserable experience. Believe me, I'm trying to be a better man like you, and I'm nowhere close to that goal, but those fond memories still live on in our hearts. Hey Buried Lovers!

I’m just posting to say I’m still here! I thought I should write a little update because I’ve been getting a lot of messages.

I unfortunately got quite ill again (on my birthday of all days!) then recovered, then caught Covid again, and have now decided not to do any more ‘hey, I’m back let’s goooo’ style posts because omg my health hates me at the moment! But really, I’m fine, just a bit of bad luck I think.

Unfortunately because my poor confused brain needs me to be well to write all of the branching options it’s slowing down my writing of the story, but I’m still working on it, as well as things like character design.

The amazing @victoriel is supporting getting it onto a much better version of twine, which will mean better playability, some new backgrounds and a way more accessible interface.

We’re also working to make the game more inclusive for different players.

So excited for you to experience the changes! I don’t want to commit to a timeline because I don’t trust myself to meet it at the moment, but that will hopefully change soon.

Oh, and the Beta Pack have been great at testing some of the changes and picking up on some of the typos that crept in.

In the meantime I have lots of posts stored up for the blog which I’ll start sharing as soon as my head stops feeling like it’s full of fog!

Anyway, enough about me. How are you guys?

Memorable birthday with Akito Shinonome

Today is your birthday

As you woke up from your comfy bed, you procrastinated a little as you craned your neck toward your alarm clock beside you

Just then, Akito sat down on your bed and patted your head, stroking your head, and said " Time to wake up ~ Today I will bring you to somewhere nice... dress up and lets goooo"

You looked up at him, giving him a huge smile, then hugged him as he gave out a small chuckle

After you prepared yourself, Akito happily grabbed your hand and pulled you out of your house. Although you were curious how he managed to enter your house, you kept your question to yourself

"Lets follow my plan!" He smiled brightly as he pushed you into an arcade. Loud music, screams of joy, and coins dropping filled the atmosphere as you both stepped in

"Toya reccommended this place to me... and he said its very cool so hope you enjoy! I also bought the card for the arcade so have fun!" You gave Akito a smile, and shouted "AKITO YOU ARE THE BEST!"

You both had fun at the arcade, playing MaiMai, basketball, and even the dancing pad, where Akito failed so miserably you wondered how he mamaged to get 100 misses on easy mode

After playing for an entire morning, Akito brought you to a cafe for lunch. As you reached out for the menue, Akito grabbed your hand, saying "Dont worry, I already ordered for you." He then snapped his fingers as the waiters began to serve a huge piece of your favourite food - Pepper Chicken cutlet with cheese

When you saw your favourite food on the table, you jumped out of your seat and hugged Akito. Due to your sudden hug, Akito got caught off guard and he whispered "Hey... that was unexpected"

After filling your tummy with your favourite food, you walked happily on the streets, exploring several places. As time flew by, it was dinner time. You guys had dinner at another cafe, where Akito bought your favourite cake - chocolate cake for you

At home, he prepared the cake for you, and you sat down, looking at the cake in awe

" 1, 2, 3..." he began counting

You both sang the birthday song happily, and afterwards, Akito shoved the cake into your mouth as you munched it and then threw a piece at him. You both had fun

"Ahh, its getting late..." Akito said as he looked at the clock, half past 11am. "Your birthday is ending soon... and its getting late, go sleep... you have school to attend tomorrow "

You shook your head , and looked at him, saying "I want you to stay with me... dont go..." He let out a small chuckle, and pat your head

"I love you~ " he said in a very soft tone "Also, happy birthday." As you dozed off, he left a present for you on the table
