Can you do a Heket x lamb!reader??? Maybe as the prophecy of the return of the crown is juuuussstt being discovered….. :)

When you first moved to Anura, you were but a young lamb raised by a family of sheep farmers, learning how to attend to many crops in order to sustain yourselves.

You were eternally devoted to Heket, praying for bountiful harvests and for food to be safeguarded from mold, heat, and pests.

Never a day went by where you didn't give thanks to her hard work, always sitting upfront during her sermons and praising her good name.

It's always been like this, and your routine didn't change even after you became older, owned a home and vast farming plots, and became a regular participant in the rituals.

Believe it or not, Heket sees you and your unyielding loyalty.

Of course, she wasn't the most rational of the bishops, being often arrogant and cruel.

She'd cast droughts and infestation upon people's families if they even slightly upset her, and punish offenders with starvation (that turned whatever they ate into dust for the entire day).

She had no problem fusing dissenters into the overgrown fungi as a method of "reducation", either

Through all of this, however, she never once touched upon your farming plot negatively. It had a protective enchantment cast over it and it continues to hold up well.

So you knew Heket still trusted you and that you've earned her utmost respect.

She even permitted you to sleep in her temple whenever you desired, appointing you as the preacher of harvest rituals!

Indeed, she was extremely fond of you, and at one point....she considered you as a potential suitor for marriage in order to boost cult morale.

Of course, there were genuine feelings of love sprinkled into her decision.

Then a certain red bird summoned her and her siblings to his roost, reading them tarots and speaking of a certain prophecy coming to pass..

Which may succeed should every lamb remain alive--or so it's foretold.

Being a prominent figure in Heket's temple had her cult divided over what to do with you, one half thinking you should be put to the blade before the Red Crown chooses you.

She, on the other hand, finds that notion ridiculous.

It couldn't be you! You were only loyal and devoted to her!

In the end...she regrettably relieves you of your duties and exiles you from the Old Faith lands, not caring where you go as long as you never returned.

It's the least she could do before slaughtering the rest of your kin.

At least you won't be here to see it.

Headcanons! Cult of the lamb

Leshy, Heket, Shamura, Kallamar, Narinder and The lamb.

General:

(this will be in follower form for the bishops)

Leshy

Dude is definetly not happy upon being indoctrinated into the cult.

Like first he gets killed by the lamb and NOW he has to follow their commands? Yeah to say the least he might be a bit annoyed at first.

When you first introduce yourself, he might be a little skeptical mainly because he was a bishop so what were you gonna do? Make fun of him? Pull a ''prank'' Just because you could?

Surprisingly, no! You were kind, just trying to get to know him better, and trying to get him to know the cult a little better.

He is forever greatful if you help him around the place.

Romantic:

If Leshy smells anything he thinks is something like a flower, then he might try and guide you towards them.

Mainly because it might be difficult picking them, when he cant see where the hell he's going.

9.5 / 10 hugs and you cant convince me otherwise.

He might be a bit moist because of all the stuff growing on him but he definetly smells nice. (or atleast i headcanon it as such).

He can and will be a living scarf if he REALLY craves your attention.

He will just snuggling up to you in the middle of whatever you were doing.

Heket

General:

Heket was not the happiest when she awoke in the lambs cult to say the least.

Allthough she was hungry, (cant blame her tbh).

When you approached her and offered her a couple of berries as a little welcome gift you definetly became one of her favorites.

She probably didn't even want to try and care for someone that isn't her siblings, at this point.

She especially appreceates if you basically speak for her, mainly because you can get to the point (and the words) alot faster then her.

Heket will do absolutely anything to avoid you or anyone else finding out anything that embarrases her that isnt known, like her losing to the lamb.

She enjoys all meals with either you or her siblings.

Romantic:

If you pick her up in front of others for no reason you are getting the frog equivilent of a bitch slap.

She does still have a reputation to uphold to prevent the followers from being too cruel even as a member of the cult.

Okay but seriously, Heket is basically your knight in shining armor.

Someones bothering you? just tell Heket, and she will take care of it.

She loves it when you bring her snakcs while waiting for a meal to be done whenever you cook.

Can and will pass you notes of what she wants you to say to someone, if she's really annoyed bcause of something they did.

Might be dissapointed if you rephrase it, to not be as rude as what she wrote.

Shamura

General:

Them always seeking knowledge was definetly one of the things that allowed you to bond with them quickly.

You telling them about things they might find interesting, and them sharing some of the things they remember.

Shamura likes it when you remind them of small things they might forget.

They also like sharing stories of their past with you, or giving you small gifts.

Not that they cant defend themselves against other cult members who might be looking for payback (they probably can't).

But you talking some sense into the cultists heads definetly does not go unoticed.

Romantic:

Shamura probably does like cuddles, especially when comforting them.

Might forget that you gave them something and try to return it to you.

If you remind them, then well they'll probably feel a bit ashamed that they forgot one of your gifts.

Please comfort Shamura if this happens.

(sorry i couldn't come up with much for them Shamura fans).

Kallamar

General:

Kallamar is a very nervous person so you showing them kindness was definetly unexpected.

you being nice? To him, and this quickly? You must be plotting something, he thought. but when you continuesly kept showing kindness and defended him from any rude cult members, he quickly realized that it wasn't the case.

he likes it alot when you reassure him that everythings gonna be fine. This man isn't much for standing up for himself. So if you do stand up for him, when other cultists come to do whatever they'd wanna do, he'll be very thankful.

If you went through the trouble of learning sign language just to communicate with him easilier his heart basically melts (not literally though).

Romantic:

He loves holding your hand. he likes the comfort of you being around.

expect him to be with you for a majority of the time.

will hug you whenever he feels nervous if he is allowed to (usually he is).

If he's trying to talk to you about something personal he'll usually use sign language with you when alone.

Kallamar spends so much time with you that half of his stuff is probably at your place.

Narinder

General:

He was not letting anyone even try and converse with him, after his indoctrination.

Not like people were gonna try anyway, considering what he tried to do.

But theres always someone different, and that just so happened to be you.

You kept trying to start a conversation, pestering him untill he finally tried to actually speak with you.

He wasn't very happy when he finally did start talking.

Despite that you just kept coming back.

Soon he actually started trying to engage the conversations, not really having much else to do.

Small conversation became a small friendship.

Soon Narinder found himself actively trying to spend time with you , and you were more then happy to do so.

Atleast the place wasn't as bad now for Narinder.

Romantic:

This dude is for close to anything but PDA (Public displays of affection).

Will purr if you hug him.

Narinder will never admit it but he's a total cuddle bug when in private.

Will do anything to prevent the lamb from finding out because he already knows he's gonna get teased for eternity the second they find out.

May or may not actively seek you out if he's getting really needy for some cuddles.

Will have orange cat level stupid behavior if he somehow gets his hands on catnip.

The lamb / Lambert.

General:

upon first meeting you, for whatever reason you were wandering around the lands of the old faith, they immidietly asked if you wanted to become part of their cult.

Likes your dedication to the crown and the cult

If you're especially dedicated to the cult then they might read your mind (and might find out you're in love but who knows).

Definetly tries to become closer with you.

They might ask if you wanna go on walks to take a break from all the work.

If you have any problems then the lamb will be willing to do just about anything to help (not everything though).

Romantic:

The lamb definetly makes the first move.

They shower you in gifts, kisses and cuddles whenever they're not busy.

Will do a marriage ritiual as soon as you feel comfortable with it.

Will spend lots of time with you in their free time.

You're probably being put in charge of taking care of things whenever they go on crusades, mainly because they trust you the most.

Doesn't have alot of time when they're not working but they spend almost every second that they're not busy beside you

Expect surprise hugs.

Lots and lots of surprise hugs.

Alot of people are probably both jealous and happy for you because of you being with the lamb.

The lamb does not care because they got the most wonderful person in the world as their partner aka you <3.

The Lamb has a habit of making dirt balls and throwing them at Narinder for fun.

This is practically canon and no one can change my mind.

Also, depending on when you come in the picture, they will leave little love notes for you.

The funniest part about the letters is that they don't leave a signature, they just write 𝐁𝐚𝐚𝐚 and you know it's them.

Despite being a lamb, they have the ability to watch people like a hawk.

And by that, I mean they have an incredible attention span, as weird as it may seem.

𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐮𝐫𝐚

Shamura sews. A lot.

They could, and would, remake the entirety of all the bishops outfits by themself.

When they read, if you're in the picture, they prefer to have you sitting on their lap instead of at their side.

As odd as it may seem, kisses from Shamura are the best.

Shamura counts doors and windows when they're bored.

They'll go around their temple and count every door and every window.

𝐊𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐫

Kallamar loves to dance but is far too scared to perform in front of anyone, that includes his siblings.

He can draw, and well.

He'll sometimes wander into his siblings territories and draw what he sees.

Once you come into the picture, he has a habit of drawing you.

And pretty quickly, his sketchbooks become full of drawings of you.

Of course, he would only show you them if you asked, but besides that, you're never seeing them.

𝐍𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫/𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐎𝐧𝐞 𝐖𝐡𝐨 𝐖𝐚𝐢𝐭𝐬

He bites The Lamb, a lot.

And it's not on purpose, it is a purely subconscious thing. And it's not a kinky thing either.

When you come into the picture, he is all over you.

Kisses and hugs galore. In private, of course.

He pouts when you have to leave, like. literally pouts.

Depending on how long you're gone, he'll be stubborn and pouty until he gets some sort of reassurance that you're not planning his demise.

𝐇𝐞𝐤𝐞𝐭

She needs help to change her bandages, she can't do it on her own.

There's been times when she's croaked and it hurt her throat badly to the point she didn't talk for the rest of the day.

Leshy also laughed at her for it and she beat his ass 🧍‍♂️

She has a habit of kissing your throat lightly.

Not your neck, under your chin where your throat is.

Cuddles are a must for her, obviously in private, but she's in need of a little love.

𝐋𝐞𝐬𝐡𝐲

Leshy, being the Bishop of Chaos, is.. well.. chaotic.

He will bite your ears out of nowhere and feel zero (0) shame.

His branches wiggle when he's happy.

If he gets extremely excited or extremely happy, there's a possibility they'll fall out.

And when they do, he'll just be dramatic and stare at the branch on the ground like someone's decapitated head just rolled toward him.

He will pick you up and you have no choice in the matter.

Aftercare with the bishops 🔞

Shamura

Is going to treat you like royalty tbh. Their love language is service, so it’s not surprising that when it comes to aftercare, they excel at it. Will have a bath made for you both, will have food and beverages handed to you when you wish, you will never lift a finger. But make sure you also give them some aftercare; they will melt like butter.

Kallamar

He tries his best! He will make you as comfortable as possible, but sometimes forgets that most people do want aftercare. Most of the time he remembers, but sometimes needs to be reminded before he falls asleep. He will do whatever you want but doesn’t really need aftercare himself. But he does like when you guys pillow talk, a lot.

Heket

Is well versed in whatever aftercare you need, even if you don’t know what you need or want. She feels like its her job to give you aftercare, as she is the one who is most dominant. She almost has a six sense for it and will be helping you relax and recover from a hard or soft session. Cuddles and a nice pillow talk and some strawberry flavored water is her favorite.

Leshy

You two split the aftercare about 50/50. He loves cuddling with you and getting clean after all is said and done. He also will do whatever you want for your half of the time. Leshy loves to get little platers of finger food so you both can pick at the plate and cuddle some more. He enjoys this just as much as the sex itself.

Bonus Narinder

At first didn’t get why aftercare was a thing, but after you showed him how much better you both felt after doing aftercare, he totally got it. Loves to take long showers with you as you bot clean each other (Sometimes starting another round lol). He then likes to lazily lay with you, making a fort of blankets almost like a nest for you two to sleep in.

Could I please request headcanons of one of the other bishops catching Leshy in an act of intimacy with a follower? I can imagine there might be a bit of internal conflict, depending on that bishop's values, between different things they may think are right. I.e. "They're a bishop and his follower, so do I stop this? They both clearly want to do this, so do I give them privacy and pretend I never walked in on them?"

Heket

She made the unfortunate mistake of not sending a letter ahead of her before visiting her little brother. Traveling instantly through the lands has its pros and cons.

Appearing through the floor inside his temple, she didn’t see him in the main room and figured he was in his chambers. Thankfully she heard what was going on inside before she opened the door.

I think she left just as quickly as she came, not uttering so much as a word as she absconded back to Anura.

Needless to say she is working very hard to burn that memory out of her head with mushrooms. And for the most part is successful.

As for the fact that it was a follower he was with, her general philosophy is, "They're here to serve us." She will probably caution Leshy in privet to, "not let that follower think themselves superior to you."

Other then that she would prefer never to talk or think on that unfortunate incident ever again.

Kallamar

He came to Darkwood to ask Leshy if he had messed with his sword collection. Things had been moved from where they were supposed to be in his weapons room. 

Marching through the temple too caught up in his own thoughts to realize why exactly the temple was so empty and why the door to Leshy’s personal chambers were closed. 

“I thought I told you to stay away from my collections! They're valuable and fragile and I-” He cuts himself off after making eye contact with Leshy and his follower.  Quickly ducking out of the room and slamming the door behind him with a “OHMYGOODNESSGRACIOUS-” along with various retching sounds. Needless to say he will be knocking on Leshy’s door every time from now onwards. 

Leshy finds him in the main room of his temple looking a little green in the gills and makes his older brother promise not to tell Shamura. 

“Fine. Just stay away from my collections.” 

Kallamar’s opinion on Leshy’s relationship is pretty much the same as Heket’s so long as it doesn't effect their status as bishops he doesn’t care who Leshy sleeps with.

Shamura

They needed Leshy’s insight on some odd animal behaviors in Silk Cradle, yes they could just consult the endless number of scrolls and tomes on their shelves but sometimes one on one talks were the easiest solution. Their little brother was always so in tune with the chaos of nature after all. 

They hummed as they appeared through the floor of the main temple room only to find it empty. Odd but not a problem. The spider made their way to Leshy’s personal chambers but stopped once they heard what was going on through the door. 

Once the momentary shock had passed they knocked on the door and the sound inside stopped. Moments later after some shuffling Leshy’s face poked out from around the opened door. 

“Hello brother, I require your insight on a matter in my domain when you get a moment. I know you're busy in there-”

“Shamura I-”  “I don’t need an explanation Leshy, but expect a review on safe sexual practices. And no you're not getting out of it.”

“Please no not again-”

“Oh and bring your partner you have in there as well. Only right for them to be fully educated on such matters as well.” 

Leshy and his partner for the evening are essentially forced to listen to and extensive birds and bees lecture. 

Doesn’t matter to Shamura if they're a follower or not, just that they take good care of Leshy and make him happy. Anything less and they don’t deem them fit to be in such a position.

Narinder

Finally a chance to prank Leshy back for all the times the worm has messed with him!

Narinder slides through the doors of Leshy’s temple with supplies in hand. Mostly bowls of only the most rancid “food” Narinder could get his hands on. With the plan to throw this at the worm when his back was turned. 

Leshy was missing from the main room of the temple, which meant he was elsewhere inside. Perfect! 

He crept slowly up to the door of his brother’s personal quarters and just barely heard Leshy talking inside, low enough where he couldn’t make out what was being said. He muffled his giggles as best he could to avoid detection. 

Narinder threw open the door and quickly threw the overflowing bowl towards his brother before he could fully witness the scene in front of him. 

He realized exactly what Leshy had been doing when his brother quickly shoved him out of the room, nude and absolutely livid. 

Didn’t stop Narinder from cackling in the hallway for a solid half an hour as Leshy calmed down his startled follower partner. 

After Leshy cleaned himself and his partner up, he hunted Narinder down to scream at him. Which only made the cat laugh harder. 

“Can’t handle a little payback little brother?”

No remorse for his actions, especially for the follower. They're just tools for him and his siblings after all. 

He isn’t laughing like that when Leshy and his partner shave him in retaliation but that’s a story for another time.

The One Who Signs

Another punch was thrown at the wall of the crumbling temple in the center of Anura. Frustration and anger boiled through Heket’s veins as news of Gusion’s fall and recruitment to The Red Crown came to her. During these times, her followers would stay out of her way as it was more or less a one way ticket to getting hurt or sacrificed in the name of The Old Faith, yet one follower watched as she tried to scream and cry as she let out her frustrations on something that would inevitably have to be cleaned up and replaced once more.

With a sigh, they walked closer once she eventually crumbled to her knees, worn out by all the activities within the last hour and the damage she had caused. Crouching to be in her line of sight, they pulled their hood back and offered her a small, yet worn smile.

“I know this is hard to hear, Great Leader… but may I offer you my ears to listen to your woes?” They ask. When trying to reply, Heket seemed to cough and spit up the blackened ichor that was once blood. Her follower watched for a moment before offering her a rag they kept to clean up. “Ah… um, perhaps I can be of some assistance with your words? It’s not much, but my family developed a system for us to commune with one another without words. I could teach you if you would like.”

If looks could kill, the glare they received would have done them in. “It was just as a way for those in my family born without the ability to speak or listen to communicate, nothing more.”

“Then teach me…” Haggard and hushed words commanded.

“As you wish, Great Leader.”

“And this means ‘leave me alone’.’ Heket remembered that lesson vividly. In fact, going through each sign with her follower made Heket more content with learning. They were simple, but effective and this new phrase was one she would use more often than not over the course of the next few days. Her frustrations turned to rapid signing and only talking when she needed to with her siblings. Though, when she did talk, she would subconsciously talk with her hands as well. It didn’t take long until Kallamar asked what she was doing.

“One of my followers showed me how to… talk when my voice is spent. I guess I’ve been practicing without really realizing.”

“W-wow… that’s quite a gift for your follower to show you.” He commented. “Must… must be nice.”

“It is. I’m thankful to have them teaching me.”

Not when I have a Lamb to prepare to defeat.” With a turn of her heel, she melted into the portal that opened below her only to emerge within the haven that protected her followers. Eligos had dissented and deserted her flock and she needed to train her final High Priestess in order to take on that damned lamb. A few followers greeted her, but more or less avoided her, until she got to her most loyal follower who finished their conversation with another as she stopped by them. With a wave, they turned to leave only to stop as she was beside them.

“Oh! Leader! Good afternoon, I’m glad you're back. Was your journey a success?” They asked, signing with their hands as they spoke. Heket gave them a small smile.

‘Yes. The other bishops and I had our talk. It was… interesting. Where’s Zepar?’

“Oh! They should be back from their mission soon. I think Palilth asked for them to gather some mushrooms for tonight’s soup. Will you be joining us tonight, Great Leader?”

‘Perhaps I should. Would you be willing to teach what you have taught to my brother?’

Their follower tilted their head slightly. “One of the other bishops?”

‘Correct. He would like to learn as he is hard of hearing. He’s quite a child when it comes to things he wants to learn and I know he will not shut up about it until there is a yes, I will not make you though.’

Their follower turned their head downward as if in thought before nodding. “Well… if that would make him happy, and by extension make you happy, I’d be more than willing to teach him as I have you.”

‘Then I will tell him. Your lessons will happen before sundown and in a place of my choosing so I may watch you two.’

“I-it’s okay Great Leader, you don’t have to sit in as it’ll be stuff you have learned already-“

“I wouldn’t want my brother trying to sway my most loyal and loving follower into joining his sect, would I?” Her voice was still low and throaty, but her follower’s only reaction was to become flustered. If they were her most loyal follower… then they wouldn’t want to disappoint her, would they?

putting size aside, hes going to eat anything you hang to him in one bite, just shoving the entire thing in his mouth.... though does it count as shoving if hes so large its all just.. naturally one bite?

does not take the time to take in the texture and flavors because of it so you may need to remind him to slow down

thanks to him having an advanced sense of smell he can pick up on a lot of the flavors more than others... beelines for you the second he gets a whiff of any of your ingredients

though not much of a sweets person himself, hes willing to try anything you bake! though be warned he may suggest you make foul combination to give to a poor unsuspecting follower

i like to think that despite being the god of famine, shes bit of a foody.. kind of misses eating from before she ascended to godhood, you bring back those memories

sometimes brings you stuff she believes may help your hobby as well as introducing new flavors- whether its something she finds in anura or gets through trading with others

does not take her time with eating your baking though, much like her younger brother... though shes no where near as intense about it as leshy

focuses a lot on texture and let you know what works together and what doesnt

will get very possessive over any baked treat you make for her, assuming theres anyone who wants to attempt stealing from her

KALLAMAR

loves that hes your taste tester, youve come to him first for advice and opinions- it makes him feel important, even more so if baking is your job rather than a hobby

gets you the highest quality ingredients as well as stuff from all over- similar to heket, though hes more likely to get you things he deems "fancy", something pricey and rich in flavor

lets you know his honest opinion, at least most of the time.. you can tell when he thinks something doesnt exactly work... he just doesnt want to hurt your feelings is all- even if sometimes he just lets his words spill anyway

makes requests and will sometimes ask you to cater for cult wide events if he really feels like winning over his followers (to keep them in line, usually.. if the threat of illness doesnt work all that well)

SHAMURA

doesnt eat, like the other gods, and they dont miss eating all that much- that being said they do partake in your baking because its something youre interested in

headcanon that they keep a lot of books on hand, kind of just getting a little bit of everything- if they have a book with older recipes and any historical stuff theyre going to be sending it your way!

very honest but unlike kallamar they have the mind and skill to say something gentler if something isnt... the best.. will keep encouraging you to try again until you find something that works

very polite when eating what you make for them, they take their time... even if it means taking incredibly small bites to actually process and taste things

Hello! Apologies if this is a bit too specific but I was wondering if you could a heket x reader where the reader is similar to the fox demon, but they use deals as a way to try to flirt. Heket normally chases them off and just generally sees them as a nuisance. Eventually Heket stops because she has better things to do and the Reader doesn't really seem like a danger, they begin to talk and the feelings build up from there.

"So you've returned to pester me, foul fox..."

"Good evening to you, too, Lady Heket." Your voice, low and sultry, rumbled with a deep chuckle as you looked upon the Bishop of Famine standing on the pier with a piercing gaze. "You know, anger doesn't suit you, dearest. Must you always be so cruel towards me?"

As she struggled to come up with a response, your cheeky grin never wavered for a moment.

You'd teasingly ask if the cat caught her tongue..but given her history with a certain feline, that wasn't the most appropriate joke to make. Not even you would go that far.

"Cruel? Hah, you haven't seen me be "cruel" one bit." She scoffed, gently tugging on her bandages. "You infuriate me."

"How so?"

"...because I know you foxes and your deceptive ways. One had visited me long ago, promising me an artifact others would kill for...and gave me such an unfair price. You know what he wanted?"

You shook your head, curious.

"He wanted my best menticide mushroom farmer. And all he gave me in return was a tiny piece of the artifact! A worthless rock!" She snarled. "Then he expects me to come back and offer him more of my own followers to "complete" it...but I refused and threw the damn thing back at him."

"Ohhh..surely you don't mean my mentor, the Teeth of Darkness..do you?" You blinked in realization, though the persistent scowl on her face told you all. "I see now. But as a whole, the Holy Talisman is actually quite valuable. Pity you refused his deal..it could have turned the tide in your favor against the little Lamb."

"..well, I didn't wanna waste my time begging for bits and pieces of rock. And I'm not gonna waste my time chasing you out of my domain."

"Awh, so you want me to stay?"

Seeing her frustration made you chuckle softly.

Of course, it now made sense why she was especially arrogant with your species--particularly the ones who did this sort of work. The Teeth of Darkness guided you into this practice long ago, teaching you how to become one with the shadows and bargain with clueless folks around the Old Faith without stirring up too much attention from the Bishops.

And clearly...you failed when it came to Heket.

You were negotiating something with Eligos when she suddenly appeared and immediately chased you out of Anura, ordering you to never come back lest there be consequences.

Yet she didn't frighten you, but rather intrigued you.

Not even the Yellow Crown's power could stop you from coming back and going anywhere in Aura you wished. So you've set your sights on her, beckoning her to the marshes where you would manifest from the darkness every once in a while.

Your favorite spot became this very pier, where you learned she often came here if she needed time to think or reflect on her duties.

Yet time and time again...she would shoo you away, and until now you never fully understood why.

Your deals were hardly anything of material value. All you really asked for was a simple smile, but you'd get a frown instead; if you gave her a compliment, she'd insult you in return.

She acts disgusted by your "promiscuous" remarks...but the cover of night doesn't do much to hide her growing blush every time she turns her face away from you.

She's called you a stalker on countless occasions, though you take no offense to it.

Could she really blame you when she stood in the discreet places where you've frequently bartered with other folks? Could she blame you if she never bothered to find a different spot?

This time around, she didn't lash her tongue out or try chasing you away with vile threats. Maybe she was finally understanding that you're not threatening her cult or anything of the sort.

She nodded. "Go on."

"Thank you, dearest. I shall give you my name..in exchange for a small favor from you. Nothing to do with your loyal followers if that's what you fear."

Although she didn't really care to know your name all that much, part of her couldn't help but be slightly curious. So she allowed you to continue, hoping she won't regret it.

"Allow me to walk you back to your great temple, and we can talk and become more..acquainted with each other beyond our negotiations. You may find that not all of us foxes are sly and cunning dealers. What say you?"

She blinked in disbelief.

That definitely isn't what she expected.

"That's it? You just wanna see Anura? You know we can just warp-"

"Oh I know of your little summoning circles, dear bishop. I have seen it all." You answered with a smaller smile. "But I think a small walk together would be most delightful. I sense a certain loneliness in you, especially on this night...so perhaps you'll enjoy the company of an outsider."

Heket scoffed, unsure why her thorny heart felt so warm inside all of the sudden. "We bishops admonish outsiders who refuse to join us..like Sozo and the Mushroomos. They are rotten thieves, praising him when they should be praising me for enabling their addictions."

A soft laugh escaped you. "Well lucky am I not to have a mushroom atop my head. So..do you accept this offer? We could always discuss how to deal with them down the road if you desire."

"....fine. We have a deal, fox." She grumbled. Although she didn't have much to gain from this, she had nothing to lose either.

You, on the other hand, were most delighted that she was finally giving you a chance. Your persistence has paid off well. "Excellent! From now on, you may call me [y/n]."

"Alright, [y/n]. Let's get going."

"Haha..hasty, aren't we? Very well." You floated closer to the pier, eventually stepping on the boardwalk and approaching Heket. A black cloak enveloped your body, with the tip of your fluffy tail slightly peeking out from underneath, dragging behind you.

She couldn't help but notice it wagging in eagerness, and she had to mentally slap herself so she'd stop staring.

You were a bit shorter than she anticipated. Perhaps it was merely a trick of the shadows that made you so imposing.

"Thank you, my Lady." After putting your hood down, you bowed your head respectfully, before gazing up at her. "You lead the way, and I'll follow."

"..are you giving me orders?"

"Is leading not what you do best as a bishop?"

Despite her silence after that, her agreement to let you hold onto her arm and lead you through Anura spoke louder than any word she could've said.

You could see her becoming more relaxed the longer you both walked, with you chatting about the things you admired about Anura. Not to mention her hold on you unconsciously tightening whenever it was her turn to speak..more notably when she talked about her siblings with feelings of melancholy.

This time, there was no hiding the light blush that dusted her face, even with most of her flesh being red enough to conceal it.

(this will be with the bishops in follower form because i dont really think it would be possible to pick them up in their bishop forms).

Narinder

General:

He had returned from a crusade with the lamb, his legs were hurting a bit, but he didn't pay much attention to it.

Someone else did though. He was not happy when he was lifted up into the air, out of nowhere.

Narinder can and will try anything to make you put him down, but upon realizing you're not putting him down, he accepts defeat.

When he suddenly gets put down on a bed, he realized that you probably somehow knew that his legs were hurting, and just wanted him to get some rest.

He will thank you, before asking you to leave.

Romantic:

Ngl he definetly enjoys the piggyback rides, as long as he initiates them.

If not then he will likely shout something along the lines of ''Put me down! I will not tolerate- oh its just you. Put me down please''.

Will purr lightly when recieving piggyback rides.

Can and will kiss the top of your head while up on your shoulders.

He enjoys cuddeling your back if you can't / dont want to have him up on your shoulders.

Loves the feeling of being big again. even if not as big as he used to be.

I don't even know how you even picked her up in the first place to be honest.

Definetly enjoys them as long as people don't really see it.

Does kind of like it if you just carry her to the kitchen or just bring her food.

Also likes the feeling of being slightly bigger then everyone else, but the thought of how she looks alone is enough to turn her away for a majority of the time.

It reminds her of before she got slain by the lamb so she does find some joy in being carried around.

Romantic:

Heket does become a whole lot more fond of being given piggyback rides once you're in a relationship with her.

She will do anything to avoid you picking her up infront of the other ex-bishops (especially Leshy because he likely wont stop teasing her if he finds out).

Will probably ask you to take her somewhere if she doesn't feel like walking.

I feel like she has tried to jump onto your back atleast once.

She will kiss you one way or another whenever you pick her up.

Leshy

General:

I don't even know if its possible to give Leshy piggyback rides considering that, well, he's a worm.

He will try and wiggle out of your grasp if you pick him up.

Once he realizes that now he's far above everyone else, he feels happy, untill you or someone else, reminds him that he is currently being carried on your shoulders.

unless you hold him in place he can and will fall off you, unless he wraps around you like a scarf.

Romantic:

If you don't pick him up, he's definetly gonna try and slither onto you just so he can be on your shoulders, or somehwere else on you.

Makes for a very nice and alive scarf for the winter.

He will be cuddling you while he's wrapped around you in one way or another.

If its cold, he's basically glued to you.

He will ask you to just carry him sometimes.

Kallamar

General:

He is terrified when you first pick him up.

He's going through every single possibility as for why you would pick him up, and none of them are good.

Lowkey will have an anexiety attack if you don't tell him why you picked him up out of nowhere.

If you do it to him while he looks uncomfortable and bring him somewhere he can be alone for a bit he will probably try to thank you.

He is nervous so if you sense something is up and you go pick him up and take him somewhere to comfort him he's gonna be getting very close to you.

Romantic:

If he feels uncomfortable he can and will look for you.

You have become a safe space with the addition of maybe some cuddles.

Loves being picked up by you, makes him feel like he's not gonna get hurt.

Kallamar will hug you constantly while being given a piggyback ride.

He doesn't want to go back down once you pick him up, he has to though but he's not too happy about (too scared to really complain though).

if you're not gonna have him on your shoulders he'd likely prefer to be carried facing the front of you rather then your back. Mainly because he's scared he's gonna be attacked without you noticing.

Shamura

General:

Shamura was probably curious at first about what this ''piggyback ride'' thing you were talking about was.

Immidietly after you pick them up they get confused.

Just one moment ago you guys were talking, and now they're on your back.

Once you explain what piggyback rides are and why people give them, Shamura immidietly calms down, now knowing why they're currently on your back / shoulders.

Might rest their head on your head depending on how close they are to you and or if they're on your shoulders

Romantic:

Shamura will give you small kisses on top of your head whenever they're recieving piggyback rides.

If they have a feeling that they forgot that they needed to be somewhere, they'll go to you because you usually know.

If it wasn't for their injury, they would've given you piggyback rides as well.

They have read a book atleast once while sitting on your shoulders.

The Lamb / Lambert

General:

The Lamb had been on many crusades before, usually coming back un-injured.

Allthough one day in particular after a crusade they had gotten a somewhat bad leg injury.

You along with many other followers came up to see what was wrong. You being more then happy to carry your leader, gave the lamb a piggyback ride to the infirmary.

Once out of the infirmary they saw you carrying children around via piggyback rides as well

They definetly are curious as for why you're so willing to give people piggyback rides.

Will ask you about it one day, curious if you viewed them kind of like a child that day they had the leg injury.

Romantic:

The lamb loves recieving piggyback rides.

Whenever they return from a crusade uninjured and if nobody needs them at the moment, they will immidietly go to you, maybe ask you for a walk (mainly because if their legs get tired they can just ask for a piggyback ride).

Would give you piggyback rides if you werent as tall.

They love cuddling with you as you just walk around with them.

I imagine that their legs have been sore for some reason atleast once on a day where they had to perform a cermone so they just asked you if they could sit on your shoulders for the duration.

It tends to make Shamura tear up, when they become a follower.

Because after everything that happened, it makes them so happy that Narinder has kept some of his old ways.

Especially one of his old affectionate habits.

The rest of the bishops always seem happy when he does this.

Except for Heket, for some reason she has no reaction.

Inwardly, she's happy, but she's also kind of mad.

He found himself blushing and nervous around the ex-bishop Heket. He took over the role of being the cult's cook just so he could see her more. He loved watching her smile from eating his meals and loved the little sounds she made. He didn't mind the fact she didn't speak much, in fact, it just added to her charm in his mind. He would talk with her all the time while she just ate her food. Just seeing her from a distance was enough to make butterflies flutter in his stomach. So after a couple months of feeling like a lovesick puppy, he finally approached the lamb.

"... Could you collect me some camellias?" he asked meekly that day. "Of course, anything for my most loyal follower!" the lamb said with a smile before disappearing to a crusade. He spent the time the lamb was crusading to prepare. He found a nice spot where he would do it, cooked the food for the picnic and he practiced what he was going to say. By the time the lamb came back, he was already getting anxious about Heket's answer. He quickly invited Heket to a picnic and then got the camellias from the lamb.

He offered over the bunch of camellias, blushing deeply. "Will you be my lover Heket?"

She froze up, not processing the question at first before she offered a meek nod, taking the flowers. He beamed as he hugged her, excited as he started stuttering and stumbling on his words of joy.

They would start to have weekly picnics and would snuggle at night in the same tent. He would make Heket dishes all the time and she would often ask him to sit outside in the rain to watch for frogs. They made a good couple, being the envy of some of the other couples in the cult.

Kallamar

Being a swimmer is a MUST. So if you don’t know how to swim he will be more than happy to help. It is one of the biggest bonding activities you both do. You will free dive as far down as you can with Kallamar swimming down, collecting shells and bones from dead followers all the same.

He likes to hold you as you two dance. With your stature being smaller than his (even if you are a follower with a tall height) it just makes it easier for you both.

Heket

She loves it when you collect flowers for her. It is just such a simple act of affection that she will never get over. You have tried to collect enough flowers to make her a flower crown that would fit her. You got a fourth of the way done before it got caught in the wind and blown away.  The sentiment was still there, so it was ok in the end.

Heket likes to walk with you in the fall weather in Anura. The brisk morning air is always refreshing, and watching you jump into leaf piles whenever you pass one is also a big bonus.

Will commission matching jewelry for you both. Part of it is that is to show your strong emotional bonds and deep commitment to each other. The other part of it is to let new and current followers know that you are taken. Some still seem too dense to get the memo, but it has gotten better than it used to.

Leshy

Leshy has a mean game that you both play on the other followers. He asks you if you would like something, you say what you want, and he makes a random follower go and get it! Most of the time you have pity on the follower and ask for something easy to acquire. But if it is a follower known for being an ass to others or has wronged you in the past, you will ask for something impossible for their skill level to achieve. Coming back empty-handed results in an impromptu sacrifice.

 You will get ahold of his leaves that shed from his body and make shawls for yourself. He thinks it is genuinely the cutest he has ever seen. He will collect the leaves he notices falling off and bring them to you so you can make more.

Will not admit it out load, but he has the biggest soft spot for you. Has the biggest crush on you even when you are together. He likes to find cool precious or semi-precious rocks for you. Is still kind shy about it, you blush and giggle every time he does it.

Shamura

They are a service top all the way. Wants to make sure you are satisfied. (Or overstimulated, whichever you like more) They will be willing to bottom but prefers to be the one pleasuring you.
