Hi! I’ve been trying to look for someone to do this idea I had. So like Sakura and Naruto are in a trial relationship for a few months. Then on a date both say to each other “look we need to talk.”

Turns out they both gay (sasunaru and inosaku)

It was an "If we are not dating someone by the age of 25 we will just date each other"

Year after year being single opened up the possibility more and more, by the time Naruto's birthday was coming up, they were already planning their first date. Sakura was single as fuck and there was no chance Naruto would be able to get in someone in less than a week.

So, to end their perpetually single status, they started dating.

It was fun, not quite different, but fun. They started sharing a bit more skinship, meaning they would cuddle close under the same blanket, chill each on their own phone laying on the same bed.

It was a couple months already when they realized they hadn't had their first kiss yet.

It was awkward, to say the least. They had both kissed people before but they pecked on the lips, closed lips and not more than a couple seconds.

They didn't do that often.

Holding hands, waiting for each other, having dinner together, buying each other gifts, going out to clubs... All of that stuff they did before.

People were surprised to learn they were dating, they were acting around each other like normal.

"I'm sorry" Sakura starts one day, they were eating dinner in her house, takeout because they took shifts at the same time and nobody had the chance to prepare anything to eat.

"Hhng?" Naruto asked around a mouthful.

Sakura made a face. "You're actually making this easy"

Naruto swallowed and wiped his mouth. "Making what easy?"

"I think we should break up" Sakura blurted, to the point and without any prep. She felt bad about it but sometimes her solution to approaching difficult subjects was to bulldoze through them and just be blunt.

"I, uh... Why?" Naruto asked, seeming confused more than upset, so Sakura counted it as a win.

"I just- don't think we click, you know? I thought you and I would make a good couple because we've been friends forever and we like the same things overall. I put up with your foolishness-"

"Now that's just being mean"

"-and you put up with my bluntness and unladylike manners. But, I think attraction is just not there" Sakura sighed, defeated.

"That's okay" Naruto leaned back, a thoughtful expression on his face. "Is it bad I'm not too upset about it? Will we still be friends?"

"Of course will still be friends" Sakura smiled.

"Then I am okay with it. Not gonna lie, you are beautiful and funny, you're my best friend but I also don't see this going anywhere so it's good you ended it"

Sakura thought that had she been seeking reassurance that Naruto liked her this would have gone very wrong. She isn't neurotic enough to be upset about Naruto's lack of tact in a hypothetical situation, though.

Weeks later while having lunch with their friends, Sakura catches Naruto staring at Sasuke.

The three of them had been friends a while ago but Sasuke left their friend group for another one and while their relationship was overall amicable, they weren't exactly on speaking terms.

At least he and Sakura weren't.

Sasuke was a notoriously quiet guy, but he always took the time to tease and rile up Naruto. Not only that, but when Naruto was really troubled, Sasuke also made time to be there for him.

"Close your mouth, flies are going to come in" Sakura teased nonchalantly.

Naruto snapped his head to her, face red.

"I do not have my mouth open!"

"Like a dog staring at a snack he really wants" Sakura nodded.

"Shut up, that's not true!"

"You look at Sasuke like he hung the Moon and the stars. You're a goner"

"No way! I am looking at him just the same way you stare at Ino, just- just friends noticing another friend in a crowd"

"God" Shikamaru groaned. "You two are idiots"

Neither Naruto nor Sakura would later confess how embarrassingly long it took them to realize.

Naruto also crushes on his other teamate, Sakura, and tries to impress her (does not work lmao) Honestly I thought they were gonna end up together, but he ends up with somebody else instead.

“Queer Coding” in Naruto

(Disclaimer: I’m putting queer coding in air quotes because I don’t think Kishimoto intended anything in Naruto to be read as queer. A more accurate title for what I’m talking about is “my personal experience and opinions on reading queerness into the Naruto text through both individual characters and ships”. But that’s way too long. Also, despite using the umbrella term “queer”, I don’t really talk about heacanoning trans identities into characters. I originally was going to, but the post got longer than initially planned and it isn’t directly relevant what I want to talk about. I may make a future post or reblog to talk about trans identities, since that’s just as important a conversation to have.)

I had a post that has since been deleted off my blog about my headcanons about the sexualities of the Konoha 12. This is the only post I have deleted even though it’s not the only post I no longer agree with. I deleted it for two reasons: 1. I wasn’t being completely honest in it and I don’t want to keep purposely dishonest posts on my blog and 2. It made me uncomfortable with my own opinions. It made me ask myself, “What am I basing these headcanons on?” To cut a not so long story short, I didn’t want to risk feeding into stereotypes anymore than I already did and deleted the post.

I bring this up because I’ve recently watched a video about Tim Drake coming out as bisexual and it made me revisit the topic. Specifically, it made me wonder why so many people, including myself, read Tim as being bi despite not necessarily being queer coded. At least not in the traditional, stereotypical way. Inevitably this made me think about that post of mine and some of my Naruto headcanons.

As I implied in my disclaimer, I think there are two main ways queerness is read into a text (in my experience): headcanoning that a character has a queer gender identity or sexual orientation and headcanoning a relationship between two or more characters to be queer (usually through reading romance subtext into what would otherwise be a platonic relationship). An important note is that you can have one without the other. You can headcanon that Sasuke is gay without shipping him with any men and you can ship SakuHina without having an opinion on their sexualities one way or another. (There are more ways to read queerness into text but these are what I’m focusing on.)

When it comes to reading into the sexuality and relationships of characters as queer, it’s usually based on your answer to a very subjective and deceitfully simple question: “What’s the difference between a romantic and platonic relationship?”

I can’t answer this question for you and my answer likely won’t align with yours, but my personal answer is the level of intimacy (emotional, casual, and sexual) and vulnerability in the relationship. I have three headcanons surrounding the sexualities of Naruto characters—Naruto is bisexual, Sasuke is demisexual, and Shino is asexual—and all of them come back to this idea.

Naruto gets incredibly attached to and has close relationships with both women and men, Sakura, Sasuke, and Gaara specifically. These relationships involve Naruto not only being a good friend who will go to great lengths for them, but also him being emotionally vulnerable with them in a way that encourages them to become more vulnerable people (Sakura embraces her more tomboyish/less acceptable side, Sasuke cries, admits defeat, and starts introspecting, and Gaara opens himself up to others again because of his influence). Sasuke is shown to take a while to warm up to the people in his life—it wasn’t until the chunin exams that he showed open respect to Naruto and Sakura and took until the fight with Killer B for him to really warm up to Team Taka. Basically all of Shippuden was also about Sasuke eventually returning Naruto and Sakura’s feelings (however you choose to interpret those feelings) and letting them into his life. Shino is the only member of the Konoha 12 who never has a love interest of any kind, implied or explicit feelings for anyone, or a moment of meaningful emotional vulnerability.

This also applies to what I ship and, incidentally, what relationships I see as queer coded. Naruto and Sasuke’s relationship revolves around them learning to be vulnerable with each other, so I read it as having a lot of romantic subtext. Meanwhile, I never really got into InoSaku because—despite it being very similar to NaruSasu on the surface and the two being close friends—they never really shared the vulnerability or emotional/casual intimacy that would’ve actually convinced me their relationship was anything but platonic. This is also why I was never sold on NaruHina. There was plenty of admiration and unconditional support between the two of them, but they never had a moment where they connected over something deeply personal or important to them nor a moment where they fully dropped their walls for each other. The closest they got was the “proud failure” moment during the chunin exams.

Is my answer to the question actually good at determining whether or not a relationship is romantic and does my measurement—for lack of a better word—work at identifying people’s sexualities in the real world? No. Platonic relationships can be incredibly close and romantic relationships can come across as emotionally distant from an outsiders perspective. A person being more comfortable with one gender over others isn’t indicative of sexual orientation and people on the asexual spectrum aren’t guaranteed to have trust issues or problems being vulnerable. Nonetheless, this is a bias I have and thus it’s a bias I read into the media I consume.

When it comes to the larger conversation of why certain characters read as queer despite not being queer coded and why certain relationships read as more romantic than others, I don’t think this idea explains all of it but I think this is a larger part of it. Or at least it’s a more specific foundation/explanation than “vibes.”

Kakashi is more “give them the information and let them gnaw at it until they get it.” Genma is full dad with all the head pats and “good jobs” that doesn’t quite hide the fact that he is an absolute fucking monster hell bent on making all three of his adorable baby genin into monsters as well. More than once the kids are carried home by one or both of them (or clones) because they absolutely exhausted themselves. Lots of team dinners and trust building.

The others in the rookie 12 are asked to go up against them in the Chunin exams are just “???? So you want us dead is that it???”

Ghosts and Greenery

All the ninken can see the ghosts and are side eyeing/getting bribed into silence by Naruto constantly. Kiba can sometimes hear/sense the ghosts eventually confronts Naruto who folds immediately and confesses everything. Tbh pretty instant bros. This only increases Sakumo’s insistence that Kiba is the perfect partner for Naruto (until Sasuke activates his sharingan and sees them all. Look they’re used to hiding from kakashi when he lifts the headband not the spontaneous activation of this child’s eyes out of nowhere).

Kakashi’s pack also act more as teachers in this because they’re helping train Akamaru just as much as they’re training the kids. Dog jokes constantly. Poor Sasuke is the lone cat in a pack of canines. He will never recover.

Sakura totally wrote to him about her transition with all of the medical and personal details but Sasuke never read them because he was too busy reading Naruto’s Horny Letters tm.

Ps, will the next chapter/episode/installment thing take over a year again? It’s fine if it does there’s so much gold in it it’s completely worth the wait.

most of the gender/sexuality stuff is either the same or adjacent to my actual headcanons outside of kuwtu which are mostly either canon supported or compliant (my usual hc for naruto is trans and bi aroace, sasuke is arospec gay, etc. i initially made naruto trans because i'm trans and i thought it would be awesome, i did realize a little after that the whiskers thing implied that he was lol. i like trans sakura in canon but she can't be trans for kuwtu because that wouldve required sasuke to be also trans and be the one to carry sarada which he could never do. the complexity of naruto's canon sexuality wrt romantic vs platonic love is unnecessary for kuwtu and complicates things in a way that takes away from the reality tv humor. aroaces aren't known for relationship drama).

i don't currently have any plans for sakura or hinata to find out about the affair because i can't really figure how to make that funny since it would be such a massive and terrible betrayal. sakura and naruto have sort of drifted apart atp, but at one point they were best friends, and learning that her best friend was sleeping with her husband would be so fucking insane that i just don't really have the heart to write it unless i get blessed with some really hilarious idea for it, lol. hinata's pov in kuwtu is already depressing as is-- you all haven't seen much of her and idk how to integrate her pov in rn, but the humor from her end comes largely from the tonal dissonance rather than from her actually having funny reactions to her shitty marriage like sakura does.

that said, if sakura DID find out about the affair, i don't think that she is the type to sleep around because she is waaaay too tied down by responsibility. the whole reason why she hasn't divorced sasuke is in order to maintain the status quo for sarada, so while she would definitely go more than a little crazy at this info i don't think she would be sleeping with any employees. you are 100% right though that she has repressed sexual energy because she hasn't had sex in 12 years.

my usual hc for kakashi is aroace with bisexual tendencies specifically because he has a weird gay thing going on with gai. in kuwtu the kakagai joke is that they have a weird gay thing going on and they're always attached at the hip but never explicitly romantic, which tbh is basically true about boruto canon as well. again i haven't found a good opportunity to work kakashi and gai into kuwtu ... but i think about it because they're really important to me. im a kakaobi anti but that is neither here nor there.

transfem boruto is important to me, i have a comic that vaguely touches on it scripted but idk if im ever gonna actually make it. if i get to a point where i know im never gonna draw it then ill post the script. i'm not entirely sure what the circumstances for his and sasuke's training vacay is since kuwtu has, as far as ive considered, literally none of the conflict elements that boruto canon has, so they might just go off cuz boruto wanted to be taught by sasuke (he admires sasuke as a ninja even if he thinks sasuke as a person is lame as fuck and cringe).

i don't currently have any plans for the next installment. since ep 0 and The Truth were both rewrites of actual events in boruto canon, atp i have to be like fully original which is harder, lol. so i don't know..... i really love the kuwtu cast but i don't have any full comic ideas for them rn.

I will say the reason I lean more towards bi Naruto is taking into account his low-key homophobia and his hatred for perverts. To me it's true he has waaaay more emotional strife around his attraction to men and it's a way more complicated relationship but I think his attraction to women is also complicated? His "crush" on Sakura is obviously a way to perform heterosexuality but he wants to perform heterosexuality for social clout imo just like how he would daydream about saving Sasuke and being the hero. Imo he's always viewed girls as like, part of the "desirable" category in a "the hero gets the girl" kinda way, but his interactions with haku before he learned he was a boy really feel like "!!! Oh my god I'm so smitten with this person" in a way that feels genuine and in a way that never happens again. I feel like people are valuing his intensity for Sasuke over the warm puppy love attraction we see from him towards girls when there's no need to perform or build himself up as "the hero"

I do agree naruto had overblown reactions to mlm interactions but that was more due to his internalised homophobia. his hatred for perverts - I don't see why that would make him more bi than gay... naruto's crush on sakura was also him projecting his feelings for sasuke, not just mainly for social clout, though that is also one aspect of it (though he didn't try very hard in that respect lol). the haku point is super interesting - but their scene together didn't read as naruto being smitten with haku 🤔 it was just him connecting with someone on a personal level. naruto did say that haku was prettier than sakura, but it was more in shock of him finding out he was a dude more than anything else. it's also then that naruto thinks the world is an interesting place... which makes him question things himself?... anyways.

haku wakes him up and naruto ends up collecting plants with him. is naruto the type to willingly help out on a mundane task like that? wonder why he did...

he had just spent the night training. surely he'd be hungry... or want to get back to training... but instead helps haku out. is it cuz naruto finds haku cute? there's no sign of him being interested in that way though from their full dialogue back and forth. seems to me like it was just done this way to get the story and convo flowing.

the reason why I said I switch between nart being gay or bi is cuz I'll read a post and be like 'oh yeah' and think differently, and then see smth else and lean another way. both are valid imo.

I dunno, like I like fire emblem because unfortunately there are a lot of hot guys but the divas and the dolls sorta fall into the feminine shy quiet category, weird girl or Tom boy and it all feels a little male gaze-y and while a video game is not responsible to break down patriarchy, I’m reminded of a video essay I watched recently.

I don’t remember who it was by :( but it talked about why queer ships often get so popular in like action shows targeted towards a male audience.

And the person talked about, why yes, gay men ship it, there’s also the strong possibility that because the male characters are just written better whereas the female characters exist for either love interest/fan service, the queer ships occur as often there’s some implicit tension between rivals and all that that both creates a compelling relationship and works with the story.

I think an example they gave was Naruto and Sasuke. I’ve never watched Naruto but the initial love interest Sakura kinda would halt the plot to focus on her crush on Naruto which often did not align with the set goals of the show and thus felt jarring.

But like in action shows, fighting is communication of ideals and values etc. so when two male characters fight and like come to a conclusion or whatever it feels like a building of a better relationship rather than “I have a crush on oblivious guy and he won’t notice me!!”

Like the difference of show vs tell except often they’re not showing romance between two men explicitly but because the romance between the guy and the gal sucks cause the girl is an incomplete character, queer ships occur.

Anyways, that is to say that a lot of the women in fire emblem are kinda just not entirely there for me? So I kinda gravitate to the guys and then I like shipping so I make the dudes hold their homie’s hand.

Unrelated but also slightly related, I like forcing friendships with the younger characters cause I think it’s fucked up these children are fighting in a war and they should have a support system of people their age.

Also, keep in mind that Shaggy is a skill monkey with all these weird, but useful tricks. Like throwing his voice.

I also loved what they did with Daphne in What's New Scooby-Doo, with making her the muscle via karate as well as giving her redneck engineering coolness.

I do like the Daphne as an infiltration mistress, though. That's a cool idea & really fits. Not only that, but she likely wouldn't even need the hinge to be do it.

I actually have an idea for a more adult Scooby-Doo show.

Honestly? I didn't like the movie where Velma crushed on the villain chick. It made her so ooc & a total simp & honestly annoying. Like, it's one thing if you're gonna make a character gay or bi, but at least keep their character the same. She just wasn't Velma there.

Besides, I see her as the type with a thing for broad shoulders. Scoobynatural was a great episode! She also had a thing for the writer in Witch's Ghost & the archeologist dude from the mummy movie. So, I'm more inclined to see her as straight or androphilic bi, or hetroromantic bisexual than outright gay.

Anyway, I think she'd be a good match for Iruka.

I also see Fred as being more than just obsessed with traps. I see him being very into Rube Goldberg machines & engineering. Also, him & Shaggy being buddies who work on the Mystery Machine together.

I hate open relationships though. Like, what's even the point? Just say you're single with a list of frequent fuck buddies.

I definitely like the idea of Naruto having his own group though. Definitely need Kiba & Akamaru. But also add Shikamaru, Choji, & Hinata too. (Yes, I've been into NaruHina since the 1st season of the original Naruto series, why do you ask?)

If this takes place during his academy days I can see Inko, Sakura, & Sasuke being dicks to them until they end up busting a huge effing case.

Dude, I love the idea of Naruto becoming a Fuinjutsu a/o trap genius! Also, using his skill as a prankster to his own advantage. I mean, this kid was apparently stealthy enough to avoid detection from effing Anbu until he decided he wanted their attention! Work with that! Also, more emphasis on his wind chakra. Not to the point of being one-note, but still more attention payed to it than in the show.

Also, being a prankster would also lend him trap-making experience & I feel like Fred would vibe with that. They'd bond over that real well.

Also, the integration of seals & seal tags into both their traps.

And Hinata becoming a medic nin against her family's protests & has water chakra. And she becomes an apprentice of Tsunade alongside Sakura!

... Oh my gosh... I just had an image of the gang initially getting noticed when they absolutely humiliate a small group of somewhat decent nukenin entirely with their typical civie shenanigans.

Like, I'm talkin' the classic disguise gags with skits. The infamous hallway that very much does not follow the basic rules of physics. The catchphrases, Danger-Prone Daphne getting kidnapped (only for at least one of the nukenin to get his rear handed to him when he disregards her as a "weak civilian"), the humor, Shaggy exploring the heck outta his skill monkey talents (ventriloquism, throwing his voice, ), Fred making this huge, overly-complicated Rube Goldberg-style trap that, somehow, still manages to catch at least a couple of the nukenin even though it doesn't work as planned.

And the entire time, the nukenin are becoming slowly more frustrated as these absolute baboons somehow keep managing to trick, confuse, outwit, beat up, & even disarm & disable more & more of them. Meanwhile, any leaf nin there is just sort of watching on in half bewilderment, half amusement.

Ooo!! A couple should be part of the shenanigans, too!! Maybe Iruka!! I can't help but think that he'd be one of the ones most able to adapt to the gang's insanity.

Also, they'd likely become one of the most successful squads in regards to investigation, huh?

Rereading naruto and chapter 3 still makes me nuts because of the intricate layers that kishimoto uses to portray team 7. Naruto is fixated on sasuke because he doesn't understand sasuke's personality or backstory to the point that he gets in his face and accidentally kisses him which ruins sakuras entire week. So he disguises himself as sasuke so he can understand why Sakura prefers sasuke to him and learns through it that Sakura is miserable around naruto constantly because she believes naruto is always out to ruin her mood. She professes her love to "sasuke" not knowing it's naruto and naruto says he finally understands what he likes about her, that being that he is seeing her happy in his presence and because of him which kickstarts him for the rest of the series focusing on making sure that she's happy and doing his absolute best to never stand in the way. Sakura never learns that naruto was sasuke at that time. Sasuke is fixated on getting back at naruto and when Sakura shittalks naruto to the real sasuke, he scolds her for her lack of empathy and understanding of his situation, which he deeply understands because he's under extremely similar circumstances. This cements sasuke having a negative opinion of Sakura and sees her as part of the group of people who will not and never will understand him and his struggles but also cements that naruto is a person who will forever understand him and know his personal pain deeply. And Sakura learns from this that if she wants to truly understand and form a true relationship with sasuke then she has to also be more tolerant and understanding towards naruto instead of shutting him down constantly. And you read those 6? 7 pages? And realize that this group is about to have the most complicated dynamic ever. And the narrative remembers those pages and falls back on the learned thing that each character got from that day. It's such a layered setup that stays constant throughout the manga and it really makes naruto a fun read

I love to be a killjoy actually. I love to point out straight women (and I guess sometimes bi women) self insert into Naruto and ship him with multiple guys in a very heteronormative way, while treating Sasuke like crap and like he only exists to please Naruto while Naruto gets to fuck around. i mean if its pretty clear to the lesbian gal that sakura and ino are straight shouldnt it be evident that hashirama is too,he could be bi-but  i have severe doubts , or that naruto is also a straight dude- he is staright up weirded out when he finds out haku is a guy, he kissed the hottest boy of all time and his reaction was to be disgusted  (not even going into the whole dynamics of  how madara and hashirama ,like sasuke and naruto , are suppposed to be "spiritual brothers") 

and if you compare this to narutos behaviour to sasuke - he's jealous of sauske so much so he launches a surprise attck on him while he is peacefully eating ,beats him ,ties him to a log, puts tape on his mouth and transforms into him or to the extent he wants to break every bone in sasukes body to get sasuke to do what he desires of him, covering up a fking genocide or hashiramas betrayl of madara where hashirama literally and metaphorically stabs madara in the back and does nota about his racist brother after making promises to madara that leads to a whole clan getting genocided 

sakuras "bad treatment" of ino seems err.. almost nonexistent compared to this shit and for once ,how did sakura treat ino "badly" , their banter seems to be a back and forth , mind you they are just teenage girls at this point so i dont think sakura calling ino a pig or ino calling sakura billboard brow is a super big deal or even comparable to naruto and hashiramas twisted shit . 

sakura abandoned ino? the heck ? i dont know what "abandoning" is supposed to imply - since you could also argue that sasuke and madara also "abandoned" their "friends" for something more precious to them  , sakura did leave her friendship to become her "rival" in the flashbacks we see sakura cant even speak for herself and ino comes to her aide every time and sakura err..doesnt like this she doesnt want to be in ino' s shadow and she eventually comes out of the ino's shadow thing too the sakura in academy can speak for herself she can tell naruto hes annoying or lee that he is weird and she doesnt like him, she can banter w ino, she still has some issues regarding self expression the "inner sakura" thing but she is way better than her former self

she wants to be equal to ino or even surpass her (she says in the begaining that ino and her are equals now and that she wont keep losing to ino ) and i think that is somewhere sasuke fits in , sakura did like sasuke and that fact had nothing to do w ino but sakura turning ino into her rival is her trying to put herself and ino on the same ground competeing for the same thing this is why when she gets on the same team as sasuke - she thinks she is better than ino because she got closer to "achieving" sasuke -and not because she started hatin' on ino becasue they both like the same dude (i mean almost every girl in her class likes sasuke - is she going to hate on every girl in her class? i mean i feel karin is more like it, she insults the mizukage because she calls sasuke attractive ) and rivalary deosnt mean being someones enemy or anything bad per say so i dont know why (lee considers neji to be his rival, gai considers kakashi to be his rival ) you would mention rivarly as something bad that sakura did to ino

i dont think ino is something "bad" that would happen to ino if they got together i think they both care deeply about each other their fight in the chunin exams is an evidence of that . also i think sakura is a nice person overall (sans her poor attempts at emotional manipulation )

Sorry guys, I had to shut off my ask box because this person is just refusing to leave me alone, all because I wrote lol to their comment. I was polite to them, and slightly dismissive perhaps, but this person is making it a mission to gather their followers to block me and hate on me. But seems their only followers are their own alt accounts. Heheh.

I think they feel slighted because I won't take them seriously. They really went from calling my content stellar, and God tier, to harassing me and trying to report me because I wrote a post over a year ago where I talked about my community being on the receiving end of systemic ethnic and religious discrimination in my country.

And a lot more but I blocked them. They are not only badmouthing me but denegrating other SNS fans that I happily interact with. And I am baffled. They simply won't stop.

To prove their point, they also gathered screenshots from a Hinata stan called 'chhote-pandit' who harassed me and several other SNS fans last year, someone who threatened to feed our intestines to their cats for shipping 'brothers', and called SNSers horny fujoshis and dirty lesbians. That person was banned by Tumblr. This person's account also seems to be partially banned. Why are SS and NH stans like this? Bah. Like it's some type of neurosis.

They think Sasuke shinden is canon. Lol. Thing is they went personal, and petty. While I put effort to link them to my content for their benefit, they skipped all of that and started to harass me on my message boards. When I saw that they were spamming my posts, I blocked them. Like I would with any other person. And THAT was their undoing.

Ah. Now one would think I am affected. And I do feel bad, both for myself and them because I didn't deserve this much craziness for saying fanfic writers should dig deeper and presented a research based and well reasoned perspective. And they chose to take offense and take it to a personal level, getting petty, verbally abusing me.

Meanwhile they don't know anything about my ethnicity, my background, my struggles. And if I told them, I can promise they will take it all back. Heh. It can be grounds for even suing them. Yeah, it's that significant. I come from a very interesting (and rare) socio politico cultural intersection. But I value my privacy and anonymity. One other SNSer asked me about it politely and as a response, I left some reading material with them as answer. It explains it much better than I can.

I also am not really bothered as of now because I think I hurt their ego real bad. Just by not taking them seriously. Because I said lol to their comments. They have bigger problems than my dismissal of them.

Anyway, I understand fandoms can be challenging and a lot of people with strong voices get dragged for it on Tumblr. Especially in Naruto fandom. Heh. But the simplest way for them to deal with it was to actually talk storytelling and characters with me, like I did, by sharing links to my content. Instead they got personal while not really doing any of that.

The reason I am here is the story, my boys, Kishi and I find it a lot of fun interacting with other SNSers here. I am grateful that people even make time to read my long winding, seriously long ass posts. Hehehe.
