Hi Tumblr people!

Since most of y'all are aware, there's a global boycott going on this week

It can be very hard for people with limited means/shops around to go through with this

So yesterday, I came across an app called "No Thanks" that you can download on the playstore

It's presented like this : (it's the same pic twice)

You can scan articles beforehand to see if their company supports Israel or not

It's fairly new which is why barely anyone talked about it but getting it could help even a little so I decided to share it here :D

I've used the app first to see for myself and it's pretty convenient but keep in mind this is only for groceries and not for restaurants and stuff !!

Hope this will be of help to you and don't forget to keep boycotting those fuckass brands like coca cola, mc Donald's, and Starbucks. They all suck balls. Have a nice day <33

PUMA (Germany) sponsors the Israel Football Federation, which governs teams in illegal Israeli settlements in the occupied Palestinian territories.

Carrefour

Carrefour (France) is a facilitator of genocide. Carrefour-Israel supported Israeli soldiers who took part in the genocide of Palestinians in Gaza with gifts of personal parcels. In 2022 it entered into a partnership with the Israeli company Electra Consumer Products and its subsidiary Yenot Bitan, both of which were involved in serious violations against the Palestinian people.

RE/MAX (USA) markets and sells property in illegal Israeli settlements built on stolen Palestinian land, thus enabling Israeli colonization of the occupied West Bank.

The US and EU use Elbit technology to militarize their borders, violating the rights of refugees and indigenous peoples.

HD Hyundai/Volvo/CAT/JCB machinery

HikVision

Amnesty International has documented high-resolution CCTV cameras made by Chinese company Hikvision installed in residential areas and mounted on Israeli military infrastructure for surveillance of Palestinians. Some of these models, according to Hikvision marketing, can connect to external facial recognition software.

TKH Security

Amnesty International has identified cameras from the Dutch company TKH Security used by Israel for surveillance of Palestinians. TKH supplies the Israeli police with surveillance technology used to enforce apartheid.

boycott for palestine: targeted boycott brands

since free palestine is trending on tumblr tags right now, i will use that chance in hopes of important information on boycotting for palestine getting the leverage it needs.

targeted boycotts work the best! select a number of brands you usually consume and boycott them all.

the most popular bds brand combination at the moment is starbucks, mc donalds and disney plus (or any disney owned company/ franchise for that matter).

these brands have to be ones you consume, otherwise your "boycott" won't bear it's fruits, as it should.

still, try avoiding the other brands as best as you can. we vote with our dollar/ euro afterall.

I actually made a TT about this but like

this is why I think there's a key difference between people who boycott and people who alter their social positioning instead

while both groups technically *participate* in a boycott, the first group boycotts as a reaction, and will return to the previous activity as soon as the pressure is off- either bc the company changed behavior** or because they forgot/stopped caring.

the second group steps back from that type of consumption as a whole, *permanently* because they see the company's behavior as part of a larger pattern and system. It doesn't matter what the company says or does after this because **the fact that they did the fucked up thing in the first place causes a rupture of trust that often goes beyond just the main Product/Service in question and this kind of person becomes disillusioned at the idea that the service was ever acceptable to begin with.

So group A) boycotted Chik Fil A and Mc Donald's until ppl stopped watching them or until they found a coupon at which point they shrugged off the whole ordeal

group B) realizes they heard more than once that Chik Fil A and Mc Donalds had engaged both in questionable labor practices, food prep/ingredient sourcing and political involvements, and became distrusting of these fast food megacorporations as a whole, changing who they are as a consumer profile completely and permanently.

Group A is a credible inconvenience for said companies, but only as long as they can hold out, which is barely over a financial quarter or two.

Group B stops buying for life, and changes the way they live to make up for whatever buying from said companies offered them.

We need to talk about this theory about the grimace shake

According to this interview, Ronald McDonald treated grimmice and the other mc Donaldland characters horriblely. The main purpose of the interview was to go over grimace,'s assassination, he said in the interview that he is no longer associated with the McDonald's brand. Bi have come to believe that je dident because of the grimace birthday meal commercial

As you can see the new media in the commercial showed grimace, with no hidden bruses aluding kidnapping or torcher.

This leads me to believe that he lies about not working for mc Donalds and his music career (his shown foot fetish wasn't a lie. more or less...)

He lies in the interview to get people off his back if and shame the McDonald's company instead if any strings ended up connected by people still alive or saw the process.

Since it was his birthday he was in charge of contracting the recipe for the birthday shake, he was able to slip a posinis chunck of his body onto the match which caused the shake mis to become poisonous to most people.

At the sight of his victims he edits and posts the videos.

He hopes after the videos are posted, people will start to boycott and strike at McDonald's. Bankrupting the clown once and for all
