Shepherd's Pie comes to us from England, and is traditionally made with lamb or mutton. Basically, its a meaty pie topped with mashed potatoes that is so delicious! The hint of mustard in the pastry adds a depth of flavour, balancing its buttery richness. The filling is the big deal though - tender, juicy pieces of steak in a rich gravy with bit of potato in every bite. Pure comfort!
