UNTITLED EVIL LUIGI AU COMIC THING | Page 2 & 3 of (???)

Eggman Bowser’s come to make an announcement. Particularly to shut down any premonitions Mario may be holding onto a little too tightly. Bowser and Mario are able to set aside their differences (for now, at least) so that they can work together on a common goal-- figuring out where the hell Luigi is.

believe me when i say i really wanted to link all the pages together in a neat, practical way so that everything would appear more organized than it actually is, but tumblr hates me and won’t let my posts show up in the tags if i include a hyperlink of any kind. :D

i read somewhere that tumblr only disallows posts from showing up in tags if it includes an external link (vs an internal/link to another tumblr page), which, in theory, shouldnt be an issue since the pages i’d be linking to are also on tumblr but regardless it’s not cooperating with me anyway. i’ve been on tumblr for what feels like a million years but this is the first time ive tried to make my posts cohesive like this so if anyone knows how to fix this issue im all ears 🙃 for the record, everything related to this au will be going into the following tags on my blog: #my art, and #evil luigi au. we’ll just have to sort things that way for now, i guess 😭

i start work tomorrow so can’t say when there will be a new page but i do have a lot planned out already. so hopefully i’ll be able to continue what ive started for at least a handful of more pages 🤠 next page will be fun to work on. for a bowuigi-centered story, where’s the luigi?! he’ll show up soon. just in the form of a flashback for now though 👀

also sorry if my handwriting is evil. it’s just personally easier/faster to write out everything by hand than type everything out but i may try to type the next page’s dialogue to see how it goes and to see if it makes things look ✨cleaner✨

does Magma Mario shift between two forms? One human and one koopa. What’s the requirement for becoming koopa for her like full name or getting angry

Yes, she's a shapeshifter and got those two forms only dhdjdh

[[I think I already said this somewhere, but she had to be human enough if she wanted to survive in Luigi's body 🧍 because had she been fully koopa it would have just kicked her out right away. Because a koopa (reptile) is not compatible with a human (mammal) but Bowser is a royal koopa and he has magic and stuff so his body makes it work 👁️👁️]]

She can control her shapeshifting at will, it's not really controlled by her emotions. If she gets very angry she'll growl and stomp and blow out smoke furiously, but if she wants to keep human form while she's throwing her tantrum, then that's how it's gonna be.

But if she's feeling sad or ashamed, for example, she would turn into koopa and hide inside her shell, until the unpleasant feeling goes away.

In fics they say sometimes that koopas got shell pockets, but what if when Magma keeps stuff in her shell and then shifts into human all her things just fall to the floor and she's like 🧍

When she was a baby though, she didn't have much control over it, and at random times she shifted into koopa or human. Magma was born human(ish) and not long after she was in Luigi's arms she shifted to koopa and him and Bowser (and Mario) were like :0 and :D because it was a pleasant surprise ajdkdhd

When she's human, I'm not thinking of it as keeping the koopa form down or anything (like she gotta shift to feel free in her body or something like that?) or viceversa. Like, both forms are Magma and most often it's the human one. But when she's human sometimes she feels her tail or tries to sweep it and realizes she doesn't have it at the moment (ghost tail??). Or her posture hunches, as if the form of her shell was at her back. (By the way, the shell magically appears as do the scales).

Also, and know that Luigi has never implied that he feels left out as the only human in their mostly koopa family, but Magma has favored since she was small her human form unconsciously to be like her mama- only that she's maybe three times his size when she's older, but that's beside the point. So maybe out of habit she keeps her human form more than the koopa (so Luigi isn't the only human in the family??)

Btw, she's as (very) tall in both forms, so in that way it doesn't make much of a difference. And she can breath fire (or maybe has a power-hand too like Luigi?) in both forms, so. She is a bit stronger as a koopa tho.

And here's a thing I drew the other day sjsjd where Magma has one of those walls where her height is tracked, and sometimes there's big growth spurts, and other times the difference each year is not very big.

Luigi is always the one to mark it, and he starts using a stool to reach her head way too soon in his opinion. Besides, Magma is very happy when she's taller because on one side is funny because Junior is shorter than her and she always makes sure to remind him of it, and on the other she can be as tall as her papa (which is cool!)

Also, a thing I talked with a mutual the other day, about how their fanbaby once becomes a teenager stops the saying daddy thing and just go with saying dad (and it breaks Bowser's heart JSKDHD). But I think it's funny and also cute that my aunts and mom are all grown ups and call my grandma mami still :'v So, Magma and Junior keep calling them mama and papa, even if the rest of the koopalings go with mom, ma, mommy, or dad, father, pa, or idk sjssh

Also, maybe all her clothes are magic-ed to not get in the way when she shapeshifts, so even as a koopa she wears her short-sleeved shirts and overalls.

Here's another drawing I did that I didn't like, but you can look at her face 🧍And she has purple eyes bc Bowser has red eyes and Luigi's are a light blue so why not mix them up. And in a post about the movie someone pointed out that Bowser got like retractile (??) front teeth and maybe Magma has those too, and if she applies enough force on her bite they come out.

i cant believe ive seen no one rotate the 'peter was There' concept fully. enough coworkers to lovers we need to put these bitches in a situationship NOW !!

peter seems to constantly be at odds with himself in how he treats miguel, on one hand he tries very hard to be friendly and caring towards him, but on the other miguel keeps doing things that he believes are wrong. unfortunately, miguel keeps making very good points (for the greater good and all that) and we see him struggle to come up with refutes, like in the scene where miguel cages miles.

theres only a few scraps of it, but it really seems like they used to be Close. stuff like peter being (seemingly) the only person nearby when his world was evaporating, a task that he would want to call in spiders he trusted to help with. or peter knowing nueva york & miguel well enough to go downtown as soon as theyre out of spider society hq, and wait in the uptown infastructure for a chance to nab miles. or miguel asking someone to catch spot and peter immediately assumes its a task hes expected to take on--miguel has to explicitly shoot him down.

the huge cast in dead mount death play occasionally makes for such hilarious moments, like there are so many different teams and factions that when two people fight for the first time they often have no idea why they're fighting or have the completely wrong idea of why they're fighting

with all of the bullshit going on with HBO max and warner bros rn, plus the way the majority of the good animated shows have been canceled or shortened in the past few years, im honestly really worried for the future of animated shows. i grew up with a bunch of good ones like adventure time, regular show and mlp: fim, all of them were amazing shows that had 8+ seasons plus more content (movies, games etc) and i feel like we just aren't getting this quality anymore in animation. i love TOH, but it got seriously shortened and the quality of it could suffer because of this, amphibia was kinda mid imo, infinity train was fucking INCREDIBLE but it literally got HALF OF ITS INTENDED RUN TIME. and now it's getting kicked off of its only streaming service and cn is removing any trace of it ever existing. im so genuinely upset and angry, infinity train and other great shows like it mean so much to people, me included and the shows and their creators are being treated like dirt rn. i just can't think of any understandable reasons for why HBO is doing this. it makes me so goddamn angry

one of my favorite "out of the norm for fanon monoma" monoma headcannons is that he CANNOT flirt. at all.

a lot of people look at sly or cocky characters as absolute rizz gods which is fair most the time but we never actually see monoma flirt with anyone.

I think he knows how to be mean/annoying to an extraordinary level but just cannot flirt or give good compliments for the life of him.

my best canon example of this is that one time kendo was getting ready for that beauty pageant and monoma saw her and basically was like "lmao you actually look nice for someone who's so violent" (he had to verbally clarify that that was a compliment)

i also think he can't handle being flirted with or being given compliments. mostly because i like the idea of this asshole who is normally really smart with his words go like "uuhhh emr uhm errm erm uh ahahah uhhhh thanks hhhhahhahahahahhah uhhmmmm" but also because he probably doesn't get genuinely complimented a lot.

a love letter from the Narrator to the reader

(Okay I’m posting it. It’s kind of long so I’ll put it under the cut, with a brief tag list at the end)

My dearest Reader, 

You truly are the pinnacle of beauty. Every day I look at you and ask the stars how they could have made something more divine than themselves, and every night I ponder what I have done to deserve you and what I must do to keep you. You are more than my muse, you are my love itself, my hope, and my heart. Without you, this world would be nothing. My stories ached for you before I found you. As exquisite as they are, they almost wane in comparison to your magnificence. 

How fortunate I am to have met you. I couldn’t bear to live in this world without you. You have shown me love and kindness beyond measure. You have blessed me with passion and prosperity for years to come. The bond we forged as narrator and reader strengthened me. Our connection is my greatest treasure. I know our fates are forever joined. 

And yet, as I write this letter, I gaze upon the poems you have never read. I yearn for you, dear Reader. You have given me insurmountable joy and left me with an aching want. Even when we’re together, I pine for you. I crave for the touch of your lips and my name spoken from your tongue in the same manner I speak yours. You hand me a mug of tea and I become drunk on the passing touch of your fingers against mine. We sit only inches apart and yet the space between us is so vast, to my heart we may as well be on opposite sides of the universe. When you are with me, I couldn’t feel farther away.

Hi! Just a Mario Fic based on posts from @zootopiathingz and @jessadamsdraws , thanks for the inspo!

It had been about a 6 months since the Mario Brothers started living in the mushroom kingdom, it had been nice but a pretty big change from Brooklyn.

The air quality was much different, the people were nicer and the abundance of nature and different technology was something to get used to. The brothers had been working for Toads homes but they mainly worked for the castle and there was lots of work to be done. It is a very big castle after all.

While getting their tools and uniforms on Luigi had noticed Mario looking in the mirror a lot more than usual and pacing back and forth. Combing his hair over and over again, Luigi found it strange.

Mario and Peach had some sort of spark since the first time they met. They had never really brought it up to each other, this made both Peach and Mario wonder if the other liked them like *that*. Luigi had figured out they had crushes on each other fairly easily but today he was going to get all the confirmation he needed.

When Luigi finally got Mario to stop looking in the mirror they warp-piped to the Castle. Peach and two guards were waiting for them at the front gate. Of course she had many Toads working for her she didn't need to greet them or explain what work needed to be done. She saw it as a way of giving thanks for helping her defeat Bowser and well she just liked spending time with them, especially Mario. Some days she couldn't get him off her mind, how heroic and kind he was. Today was one of those days. She saw the brothers jump out of the warp pipe and walk towards the castle. She got butterflies🦋 but could keep her composure.

"Hey princess how are ya?"Mario asked.

"Hi!, good as usual" she said smiling.

Her smile was always so genuine and sweet Mario thought.

"How about you guys?" she asked.

"Good" both of them answered at the same time.

Peach giggled and gestured to follow her.

Luigi noticed how red Mario would get when he was with her.

She had led them to a guest bathroom, where the sink faucet was leaking a bit

"We'll get it fixed in no time" Luigi assured her.

"Take all the time you need"

He went inside the bathroom to get started while Mario and Peach were chatting outside the door, Luigi overhearing. They were laughing and reminiscing on their adventure to the Jungle Kingdom.

Mario somehow always had something witty to say, Luigi found it strange since he had never been good with women back home. There was just something different about their relationship.

"Well I wont keep you, some toads will have some snacks in the Dining Hall when you done!"

Mario thanked her and joined Luigi under the sink.

They were just about finished, they just needed to make sure the sink worked properly. They both stood up and Luigi wanted to test out his theory and wanted to tease his brother a bit, what else were little brothers for?

Hand in pockets Luigi playfully rolled his eyes and said "We all know you have a crush on *her*"

Mario, taken a back by his abrupt comment scrunched up his shoulders and thoughts raced through his mind. "I don't want Luigi to know about my crush! Gosh I wouldn't hear the end of it. Anyways it's not like I ever plan on would ever telling her! That was farthest thing he wanted to do. She was a princess after all! Who would want someone like him..." he thought.

"I do not have a crush on Peach" Mario waved his hand and dismised.

Luigi raised his eyebrow and smugly looked at his brother. Knowing he had fallen right into his trap...

Mario turned and asked "What??"

Luigi still with his smug look smiled and teased "I never said who."

Mario turned as red as his shirt in disbelief.

How could I have said that?! He thought.

They both laughed and without a moment to lose he playfully jumped on Luigi's back " Listen here you little jerk!" Mario couldn't stop laughing at the fact his own brother tricked him like that!

Peach had heard the commotion while walking down the hall.

So she came around with a smile and peered through the door "What are you two up to?"

Luigi with Mario on his back happily replied "Oh! Just teasing him about his cru- "

"I hurT MY FOOT AND HE'S GIVING ME A RIDE!" Mario's voice cracking, interrupted him. He was a terrible liar. He could feel how red his face was, he could barely get his thoughts straight.

"uh.... okay." Peach awkwardly answered.

A very long 3 seconds of silence passed by.

"So uh.. You two almost done? To join me for afternoon tea and the snacks?"

"Yup, i- uh yes" Mario still embarrassingly stuttered. He got down from Luigis back.

"We will be there in just a moment Princess we just need to finish up, thank you" Luigi answered still smirking.

Peach nodded and walked away. "Something about a crush" she thought. She wondered if it could be her but alas that was only wishful thinking. "Probably someone back from their world." she sighed under her breath.

Luigi tested out the sink while Mario had his hands over his face.

"Is it really that obvious?" Mario asked, muffled by his hands.

"Ehhh yes... And no. But you just confirmed it for me. I was about 80% sure before ehehe." Luigi answered.

"Gosh- do you think that she uh... She-"

"Likes you? Yeah bro I'd say so. You're a great guy!"

"Really... Huh, I'd really hope so. "

Luigi patted Mario on the back.

"It'll all work out. You'll see. Now c'mon let's go join her for tea"

"Alright" Mario said, the redness in his face had died down a bit.

On their way to the Dining Hall he wondered if he actually had a chance with the lovely princess...

Only time would tell.
