Polar Whirlwind: Yeah, I keep forgetting this happens every winter. Not sure why. It does have its uses though.

Lightning Rod: Whirlwind! Did you carve "Lightning Rod is a big stupid poopoohead" into my custom-made Christmas statue again?! Where are you?!

Polar Whirlwind: (digging into the snow) If he asks, I was never here.

Golden Queen: Ugh, Chompy Mage, what are you wearing?!

Jingle Bell Chompy Mage: I am wearing a Santa outfit like I was told to! Yohoho, I look festive!

Hugo: I was short on time! I had no better choices!

Wolfgang: Really? Aren't there thousands of Christmas songs out there?

Echo: And we have the Skaletones on speed-dial, couldn't get them?

Hugo: (storming off) Well, if you're not satisfied with my choices, then why don't you pick the songs out!

(Hugo storms off, leaving Echo and Wolfgang with the stereo system)

Wolfgang: ...I have a really horrible idea. (whispers it into Echo's ear)

Cynder: Spyro? I never get to say this to you a lot, but... I-

Spyro: ...Huh. Guess Boomer found the fireworks after all. What were you going to say, Cynder?

Golden Queen: (bursting through the Library doors) For the last time, I said HE looked like he kidnapped children! If you saw him wearing that horrid costume you would agree!

Cynder: I'm lucky to have met you. All those years ago, after the fighting, you were the first to believe in me, that there was more than darkness in my heart. You led me down a better path, and I'll always be thankful for that.

Spyro: I'm glad I met you too, you're one of the best Skylanders around! Fighting Kaos, defeating Malefor, I'm not sure how we'd ever have done it without you. Plus, I got to know the best dragon around.

(Spyro and Cynder kiss)

UWMA Soft D/s Moments Ep 10-11

The show starts with Korn and In dancing/hugging in their apartment. To me, Korn already has a sense of loss. In knows something is wrong but doesn't know how to ask. Because we all know how Korn doesn't communicate well. Honestly, though, this moment feels like Korn has already decided his course of action and is just soaking up memories.

We have a cute moment with Dean and Pharm on Pharm's bed. That's about the brattiest I've ever seen Pharm be to Dean 🤣🤣🤣There were a few moments in there that were for sure Dom. The wanting to drive Pharm and him telling Pharm to take a shower first.

Moving on to the kitchen sink. Dean oversteps Pharm's boundaries. Pharm stood up for himself. This is 100% valid. Subs have boundaries, and submissive doesn't equal not being able to stand up for themselves. It just means they don't want to have control. Those two things are not mutually exclusive.

WinTeam time. Team can't sleep, so he heads to Win's apartment. Win asks what he is doing here but immediately nods when Team asks to stay. Team being the brat, he is antagonizes Win by taking up the whole bed. Does not listen to Win when he is told to move. Yet Win is not pushy because he wants to punish Team. Which he does. Team was antagonizing a response out of Win but doesn't know what to do with him now that he has him. He panics and pushes Win away. Team tries to put up a dominant front and hasn't really figured out how to lower it. It really doesn't bother Win, though. When Team needs to be submissive, he is. Like him asking Win to take him to see the lights. It wasn't, "Let's go see the lights." or "I'm taking you to see the lights." He said, "Win, can you take me to see the lights?" Then he asks Win if he can hug him to sleep. See the submission there.

We start the series off in episode 11 with Korn being late. I like the true apologies. We are starting to see a softening in Korn that is much needed. Him considering someone other than himself. In kisses Korn's check and while Korn is concerned about being seen. He doesn't come off as harsh as he normally does.

I really love the part next to the car when Dean just holds out a hand. Pharm tries to play clueless, but when Dean says "keys," he hands them over. Then Dean tells him good boy. Using that praise kink as a reward.

Now we are at the same spot that Korn and In were. Dean makes sure that they are there before the shops are closed. Dean kisses Pharm this time and he could give a fuck less who sees them.

Okay, so why is going and seeing the lights so important if he isn't even paying attention. It's something couples do. Now, by this point, they are already a couple, but Team is still nervous about that. He needs constant reassurance. Win taking him to see the lights reassures him they are a couple. Win immediately recognizes this and gets a "mistletoe." He tells this story to Team, and Team is immediately like, where do we get mistletoe. I'm so down for this long-lasting relationship. And so we get the broccoli.

In ties a red ribbon around Korn's wrist. Notice that when In goes to take Korn's wrist, Korn just goes with it. He trusts In now in a way he didn't before. He didn't even think to question it until he saw the red thread and wanted to know what's going on. He is immediately concerned about the bad omen and goes back into the harsher Korn from before. He quickly softens in the face of In. Though he thumps him, he still assures him that he will be with him forever. Now I know what you're thinking. Luta, didn't you say last time that Korn planned on doing something bad. I do. In the flashbacks, there are times when see Korn is strong in his relationship and then times when he falters under the stress and the belief that he has no way out.

We quickly see what I mean in the part. In Pharm's dream. Then Dean and Pharm meet up. With Dean immediately recognizing there was something wrong and when he realizes he can't do much to help. He moves to distracting Pharm. Which works to cheer him up.

I love the bedroom scene. I love how Pharm is more confident but you can watch it and see that, Dean has the control. The way Pharm tells him to stop and Dean just over rides, "No." Then we get to Dean asking Pharm if he is hungry. Pharm immediately jumps up and apologizes. My husband does this. Dean tells him that he is going to take care of him this time. This is considered providing care. So basically it's a way to show their appreciation. Some subs never want this and then there are subs who need to know on occasion that they are valued. Or the Dom themselves might need to do this. It just depends on the guidelines of that individual relationship.

uuuuuuuh loved that question! do you think winteam are in love or not there yet? AND if they are, why did they fell in love with each other?

Well let me just go off of what I've already seen and read. We didn't get a lot of their story in UWMA and the Between Us Special Eps were quite literally plotless. I did read Hemp Rope, though that was a few years back when UWMA came out so I'm just going off memory alone (I haven't had time to re-read).

But by the end of everything they're for sure going to be in love. Win and Team have a very deep relationship. Win comes from a family that expects him to act and look a certain way. He's expected to be in service to his family members too, so the way he presents himself is very much in direct rebellion against his family. He wants to be himself and not take things too seriously and just be how he feels in the moment.

Team is dealing with some heavy trauma from nearly drowning when he was younger. To conquer his trauma he joined the swim team, but the trauma is still there and is manifesting as insomnia for him. He often has nightmares and he feels like he's freezing and drowning. He gets high anxiety and doesn't sleep very well if at all.

The 2 of them have sex when they go to the swim training camp we see wayyyy at the beginning of UWMA. Win has always been interested in Team, he thought he was really cute. But Team? Not so much. He thought Win was an annoying playboy.

Team soon discovers that he finds comfort in Win's presence. When he stays over at Win's place he finds that he is able to sleep peacefully. He feels warm and protected, and funnily enough Win has the AC on blast always. But Team sleeps very well in Win's arms. So they start spending more and more time together and get closer.

Now I can't remember if Win knows about Team's whole traumatic incident, but he does know that Team becomes dependent on him. Team is reluctant about asking Win to have sleepovers every night. He doesn’t want Win to think he’s just hanging around and using him to go to sleep. He doesn’t want to overstay his welcome and he doesn’t want Win to just drop him and move on to the next person. He realizes he actually likes Win.

Now Win has no problems with accommodating Team at all. He really enjoys this newfound closeness with Team. Normally people depending on him annoys him because they expect too much from him and he doesn’t like feeling obligated to someone. BUT with Team, it’s not an obligation he WANTS to take care of Team and he WANTS to be that comfort for Team. He even offers Team a key to his place so he can just come and go freely.

I think that Win fell in love with Team first. Like I said he was instantly attracted to him and he likes being the person that Team has come to depend on. He wants to look after Team and help him work through his trauma. He wants to give Team all the love, and time, comfort, and security he can. He offers himself to Team because Team doesn’t demand anything from him. 

I think Team fell in love when he realized there was more to Win that just a mischievous and horny person. Team likes that Win responds to him with warmth and openness. He feels most secure when he’s together with Win and he wants that security all the time. 

He might find it difficult to admit but he wants to be with Win for as long as he can and we saw a glimpse of that in their famous ‘Broccoli-Kale-Mistletoe Kiss’ and also Team revealing that he believes in soulmates and he likes romantic gestures. He wants stuff like that from Win but he doesn’t think that Win wants to do that kind of stuff with him and he doesn’t feel confident enough to ask for it. He doesn’t even feel completely comfortable with asking Win for a hug to go to sleep at night. 

The thing is that Win is more than willing to give Team ANYTHING but he wants Team to say it with his chest. He wants Team to be firm and confident and until he gets that he’s going to tease and poke fun.

They do fall in love but Win is waiting for Team to come to him confidently and Team is reluctant because he feels Win won’t take him seriously.

Hiii!! So in Until We Meet Again, Win brought some “mistletoe” for them to kiss under during Christmas. Except it wasn’t mistletoe? It was broccoli. I’m pretty sure it was just a prop mistake and not supposed to be intentionally funny, but the fandom sort of adopted it 😂

Time for the 11th annual (and tenth anniversary) Christmas Eve Matt Smith era Doctor Who/Night Court Crossover Christmas party.

Just like usual, Buddy decorated the chambers for the occasion.

Christine once again made Harry another gavel cozy and Harry's once more taking it like a sport.

i love thara celehar’s web of relationships very much but particularly (of course) i love anora’s concerned yet slightly bitchy best friendship and iana’s head-over-heels but still sensible about it love.

what i would like to see in a fic is something set nebulously post-canon (aka not too much certainty about whether the significant development from grief of stones remains permanent or not) where thara, anora and iana go out to a teahouse together and thara immediately regrets his life choices. teasing celehar is a group activity now!

otherwise, anything featuring a general ❤️  would be great

Fandom for Robots (Worldbuilding)

while i can accept the premise that computron is the world’s only sentient robot, i am fascinated by the possibilities presented by the rise of AI as a tool for software development, etc.

who’s to say that in this universe the gpt-3 algorithm doesn’t love a bit of slice of life anime? that midjourney isn’t weeb trash for the latest shounen nonsense? i’d love to see some of the other intelligences that are forming their own fandom circles, and how they interact with meatspace while being very much not present in it themselves

Garth Marenghi’s Darkplace (Lucien Sanchez, Rick Dagless, Liz Asher, Thornton Reed)

ever since i read an interview with holness where he said a theoretical season two of darkplace would’ve included a christmas episode which parodied the thing i have truly not known peace.

my crackship for darkplace is sanchez/dagless, both because the tension is sizzling (matt berry could have convincing sexual chemistry with a chair) and because garth marenghi would lose his mind trying to pretend he was fine with gay people but was not himself a bisexual on the vt as sanchez and dagless were going at it.

so, christmassy thing parody is the ideal here - i feel like an infectious mistletoe incident resulting in godawful special effects transformations is about par for the course. and perhaps we could mention sanchez’s broccoli experience for the extremely important continuity

that’s broccoli, team thinks, staring in disbelief. is win joking, team wonders, or does he really think he’s holding a mistletoe? how can someone mistake broccoli for mistletoe is beyond him, but win is like that - weird, confusing, a mystery.

when he swims, win is aggressive, focused on beating all his opponents and being the best. then, outside of training, he’s playful, loves teasing his friends and pulling pranks, always with a big smile of his face. and other times he’s quiet, almost shy, soft and patient, caring. 

it’s impossible to know when he’s teasing or when he’s being serious, when he’s making fun of his friends or if he really means all the words he says, all the declarations and soft touches, the forehead kisses and loving words. dean must be able to read him, but to team, win is still a real puzzle.

“are you brave enough?” win asks, leaning closer, still holding the broccoli above their heads.

team swallows, staring at win’s lips. he isn’t, brave that is. especially when it comes to win. team is so - so scared of his feelings, of getting hurt or being rejected when he finally admits that his heart skipping a beat every time win is around isn’t just a friend thing.

but now, looking at win’s teasing smile, thinking about the effort he put into -whatever this is, team just wants to move forward, forget his fears for a moment and just feel. win still hasn’t moved as he lets team decide, ‘you can run’, his eyes seem to say, ‘or you can kiss me the way i know you’ve been thinking about, the way i’ve been wanting you to’.

mistletoe or broccoli, it doesn’t matter, team realizes, the plant is just an excuse. it could mean everything or nothing, team doesn’t have to choose now, he can just act - and so he does. 

the kiss could barely be called a kiss, but it was too much anyway. win’s lips are soft and he smells vaguely like chlorine and coffee, and team knows immediately that he will never be able to get into the pool without thinking about this moment.

exhaling shakily, team starts to get up, his head spinning. “so freaking cute.” win says, teasing, but team keeps walking away, pretending not to hear and angry at his own stupidity.

it was never not going to mean everything to him because he never actually had a choice. he’s been in love with win all along, there’s no point denying it anymore.

“that was broccoli,” team blurts out after a while and win’s eyes widen for a moment before he bursts out laughing.

“oops,” he says, teasing, “got you.”

“yeah,” team whispers, looking down as his eyes beging to water, “you got me.”

but, he wonders as win touches his shoulder and winks, will he ever get win too?

Happy Holidays, everyone! I’m back with part 2 of Christmas Mimthan headcanons~! I hope you all have a lovely holiday season and enjoy! 💖

* Mimsy always initiates mistletoe kisses, but it’s never the right plant. Nathan always kisses him anyway though. Mimsy could hold a piece of broccoli above his head and Nathan would still makeout with him.

* These two always go out of their way to give each other the most extravagant gifts. It’s almost like a competition each year to see who can give the better gifts to the other.

* Every year on Christmas Eve, they have dinner with Mimsy’s family. His family is very warm and lively, so it’s always a fun time. Nathan is glad that they’re so loving and already think of him as part of the family.

* For Christmas morning, Nathan makes pancakes and hot cocoa for them. They open presents immediately after breakfast. After opening their gifts for each other, they relax the whole day in their pajamas, enjoying whatever gifts that got for each other.

* As Christmas Day draws to an close, Nathan and Mimsy will cuddle on the couch and watch the last of the Christmas movies on their movie list with lots of kisses and “I love you”s in between.

A Broccoli and a Promise

Team can’t sleep. That in itself is neither new nor unexpected. The reason why, however, is.

It’s said that any couples that kiss under the mistletoe will have a long and lasting love.

Team turns on his stomach, hiding his face in the pillow, and groans.

That damn idiot. That damn, pretty, annoying, radiant, wonderful, irritating… He forgot where he was going with this, but damn Win.

It was such a great day, really, but then Win had to go and make it complicated. He brought a mistletoe - no, a goddamn broccoli - to cajole Team into kissing him, and he actually did. 

Why did I kiss him?

And, even worse, why did I LIKE it??

It’s true, he spent last night with Win, but that was just because of his insomnia. When he thinks about it, he spent an awful lot of time with him recently. Lunch breaks, afternoons, evenings. They eat together, they study together. And apparently now they also sleep together. But because they’re friends. Good friends.

Really good friends who do everything together and share a bed and almost kiss and....

... any couples that kiss under the mistletoe…

Team sits up straight in bed, his heart pounding violently in his chest. He didn’t realise the phrasing at first, too distracted by Win’s perfect honey-brown eyes and the cupid-bow of his upper lip and the way his hair fell into his face from his ponytail and…

Oh.

Oh damn.

Team scrambles out of bed, hastily putting on some shoes and grabbing his keys, then heading to the elevator. He has some questions to ask.

Win opens the door after the second knock, a bright grin on his face that makes Team’s heart do dangerous things. Before he can say anything, Team blurts out, “Are we a couple?”

Win blinks at him, then exhales slowly. Wordlessly, he takes a step back, inviting Team inside. After closing the door, he turns slowly, facing Team with a complicated expression.

“Why do you ask,” he says finally, his voice hoarse and raspy, and it doesn’t really sound like a question.

Now that he is actually here, Team finds it rather difficult to look Win in the face while talking, so he turns around to crawl into bed, pulling the covers up to his chin, studiously avoiding Win’s gaze. The other sighs, then climbs in as well, facing Team. He has left the light on on the nightstand, Team notices. What he also notices is that, probably for the first time since they have known each other, Win keeps his distance, not touching him in any way. He has a complex look in his eyes, hopeful, afraid, nervous, fond, and Team finds himself captivated by it. 

After a minute or two of staring, Win moves slowly, as if to brush a strand of Team’s hair out of his face, then redirects the motion to fiddle with the blanket, his expression now unsure and vulnerable. Team’s heart aches. Gathering all his courage, he asks again, “Are we a couple?” This time, Win doesn’t reply, just worries his bottom lip between his teeth, avoiding his gaze. Team soldiers on. “I mean, we are literally sleeping together. And we, I dunno, we spend a lot of time together?”

Win almost interrupts him, a strange tremor in his voice, “Don’t you want to? I mean, we can stop doing that, if you want, if it’s too much…” He trails off, and Team hears what he’s actually saying. If I’m too much.

Not quite able to form words, he scoots closer, cupping Win’s face, brushing his thumb over his cheekbone. 

“It’s not,” he says, then adds, “not too much, I mean. I like spending time with you.”

Win visibly relaxes, exhaling slowly, giving him an almost shy smile. Team has spent a lot of time watching Win smile and has probably seen the whole range, from mischievous, sly grin to fond, soft smile, but this one is new, open and vulnerable. “Then why do you ask?”, he asks again. “Because you said couples that kiss under the mistletoe will have a long and lasting love,” Team replies, and watches Win’s eyes dart away. “I kissed you,” he reminds him, “does that mean we are a couple now?”

Win looks at him for a second. “If you want us to be,” he says quietly, and Team’s heart skips a beat. While he is trying to find the words to respond to that, he sees Win’s expression crumble, as if all energy has left him. “Or not,” he hastily amends, “we don’t have--”

“I want to!”, he blurts out, grabbing the other’s hand between them almost too tightly. “I want to, I do, I just…” Trailing off, he looks at Win’s hopeful expression. “I just… don’t know how,” he admits finally, and Win’s face splits into the most radiant smile he has ever seen. Weaving his hand into Team’s hair, Win pulls close, so close their noses almost touch, then breathes, “Can I kiss you again?”, and that’s all it takes, really. Closing the distance between them, Team leans in to capture the other’s pretty lips. 

While their first kiss was brief and almost not there, butterfly wings on soft petals, their second kiss feels real: The hand in his hair feels real, hot lips on his own, a tongue caressing his. When Win gently bites his bottom lip he groans, and hears the other’s low chuckle. 

Pulling back a fraction, still close enough to feel Win’s warmth on his skin, he takes a moment to calm his breathing, looking in wonder at the perfect man in his arms. With a grin, Win presses a kiss to his nose, then nudges it with his own. “What about the other thing,” he asks cheekily.

Team raises an eyebrow, then huffs. “What other thing?”

Win’s smile widens even more. “I asked you if you were brave.” He leans closer, his eyes sparkling. “Are you?” 

Team snorts, then huffs a laugh. “Brave enough to kiss you?”, he asks, deliberately missing the point, which earns him an eyeroll. Moving his hand from his nape to his forehead, Win flicks it gently, then says in a soft voice, “Brave enough to be my boyfriend.” “I don’t know,” Team draws out, “you haven’t asked.” 

With a silent laugh, Win presses another kiss to his nose, then whispers, “Will you be my boyfriend?”

Smiling, Team just nods, then leans in to kiss him again.

I include this one because it is a picture perfect execution of YA angst, kissing your crush and then having him freak out and both boys getting terribly hurt in the process.

1000 Stars: They kiss, mutually, at the very end on a hilltop against a sunset. This is a classic romance execution of a kiss, not really BL’s style. But it is terribly romantic.

Hey,so…i have a question…i just started watching the bl show „until we meet again“ i saw in youre tag that you also watched and are a big win and team fan..so i have a question about them 😂😂 i somewhere read that they were sexualy together from the start, like f buddies in the nobel. But when i watched it, i didn’t get that vibe at all. It would probably make sense why they always where together, but there were so many Moments where win wanted to Kiss Team (like when he came to cuddle) and he was like wtf 😂 also it looked to me like the kiss from 1x13 was the first time team really kissed him for real. Hello Anon! UWMA is a gem that I hold near and dear to my heart! WinTeam have a very interesting relationship. It's not explored a lot in UWMA because they have a separate novel that tells their story called Hemp Rope.

I read the Hemp Rope novel when the translated version was on Wattpad but IDK if it's still on there!

According to the novel, if I'm not mistaken, WinTeam do have sex super early on when they meet. When the swim team go to do their training way at the beginning of the series is supposed to be the first time WinTeam have sex. I think one or both of them were intoxicated at the time. I'm fairly certain the pair continue to have sex after that initial time.

And then WinTeam sort of develop a bond because Team actually finds comfort in Win even though he acts like Win annoys him. They won't touch on it a lot in the series, but Team had a traumatic swimming experience when he was younger and now it causes him to have terrible nightmares, anxiety, and overall difficulty sleeping. He feels like he's drowning again and he feels really cold.

But when he's with Win those feelings kind of get washed away and he's able to sleep. Even if Win has the AC on blast Team stills very warm and safe. So as time goes on and he gets more comfortable Team practically spends every night in Win's room wrapped up in his arms.

That scene in the series before the broccoli/mistletoe kiss when Team goes up to Win's room it's because he can't sleep and goes there for comfort so he can sleep. You get a little visual representation there because Team's room is bathed in a dark blue light but when he goes up to Win's room it's giving off a warm glow from the yellow-ish lighting. Team even asks Win to take him on a date like the other couples to see the Christmas Lights.

It's nod that Team is very much interested in a romantic relationship with Win.

Win would totally do anything for Win and is more than willing to give him all the comfort and security Team requires but he needs Team to be confident in his feelings for Win. He wants Team to understand that he is his if he wants him in any capacity. Win just needs Team to be honest and open with him.

IDK if you're aware but WinTeam will be getting their own series called Between Us that's based off their novel. It's set to air in November. There's also some special Between Us eps on Studio Wabi Sabi's page. 6 eps of pure WinTeam fluff. No plot just them being cuties in love.

I've rambled on a lot but I could go on and on about WinTeam because they have such a deep and special relationship and they're a comfort couple for me.
