My betrothed handed me a phone and asked if I’d like to call in our order for burgers tonight. I was like, “I haven’t looked at a menu- do you know what you want?”
“I want the classic burger, which is what you want too.”
“I- I might get something different!”
“You always look at the menu and get the same thing. You’ll want it without the onions or tomato, though. And they have tots, so you’ll get those.”
The mortifying ordeal of being known is so real. I feel both cherished and called out.

@seemoreseymoursbay day 4!! Platonic relationship day
I chose Nat and Louise for today! I just love how she looks up to Nat, Louise seems to have a lot of insecurities about her place in the world and how she expresses herself and her gender (being worried about not liking girly things or about her interests being too scary or dangerous and about those things making her bad or wrong) so the way she seems to see Nat as a positive rolemodel for non traditional femininity and aspires to be more like her is just really sweet to me. I also personally hc Louise as a lesbian and I think when she starts to crush on a girl (in this case jessica bc i love them together) she wouldn't want to talk to her family about it for fear of them trying to involve themselves so she starts going to Nat to vent about her crushes and get advice (and hold snakes probably)

Can I get 7 for Helios?
“You want me to give you your book back? Make me.”
“Make you, huh?” Helios repeats, his voice laced with a hint of playfulness. His laughter is contagious, and you can’t help but smile. “Well, it seems you’re challenging the wrong person. I always get what I want.”
Before you can react, Helios swiftly moves, trapping you against the wall with one hand on either side of your head. His body is pressed against yours, his breath warm against your face. His eyes are locked onto yours, and his playful smile transforms into a grin.
Helios trails his fingers lightly down your cheek, his touch feather-light yet electrifying. His thumb gently grazes your lower lip before he pulls away slightly, his eyes locked with yours. “Before we continue,” he whispers, “I think it is only fair that you return my book, don’t you?”
Your heart pounds in your chest as you hand him the book, feeling a sense of surrender.
Helios’ smile widens as he takes the book from your hands. “Thank you,” he says, his voice filled with a playful tone.
His hand slips from your cheek, trailing lightly down your neck and over the curve of your shoulder. His touch sends shivers down your spine, and you can’t help but lean into his caress, craving more. “Now, how will you make it up to me for being so troublesome?”
