Stream and Scream | reader x multiple men
PROLOGUE ▷ || play next song? summary : You started an OnlyFans to pay rent. Then came Fuck-a-Fan Fridays, one lucky subscriber, one masked hookup, all caught on camera. It’s anonymous. It’s hot. It’s getting you more subscribers. All good right? 'Till it turns out the ones watching you are your classmates and professors.
contains : camgirl!reader x a whole ass roster, rotating cast, university AU, smut, porn with kinda a crack plot, casual sex, anonymous sex, exhibitionism, recording, oral sex, piv sex, rough kinky sex, everyone wants to fuck reader, reader is kinda... willfully ignorant
A/N : hii this is my first time writing something like this but im SUPER excited. let me know your thoughts who do you think should come first :))
Being broke wasn’t a personality trait, but sweet neptune, it was starting to feel like your entire identity. Third-year cursed techniques major at Jujutsu University? Check. Half-assing your degree with the enthusiasm of a soggy napkin? Also check. Part-time job that paid in existential dread and maybe $11 an hour? Triple check. You were one bounced rent payment away from selling a kidney, and honestly, that kidney was looking pretty damn optional.
So yeah, when the idea of starting an OnlyFans first crossed your brain—mid-scroll on TikTok, wine drunk on a shared bottle of cooking wine with your equally poor friends, and flopped on your shitty single bed—you didn’t laugh it off. You snorted, scoffed, and muttered something bitter, "Bet her rent’s paid," while watching some girl with lip fillers and a Gucci hoodie flaunt her brand-new car, courtesy of her tit pics. You sighed and stared at the water stain on your ceiling like it held the answers.
Then rent day came. Your bank account proudly displayed a majestic $7.24. Your landlord's emails had shifted from "gentle reminder :)" to "we will pursue legal action," and you had a full-blown spiral that ended with you Googling “how to fake your own death” before switching to “how to start an OnlyFans without your mom finding out.”
And somehow—somehow—you were fucking good at it.
Not just good. Thriving.
Turns out all you needed was a ten-dollar ring light, some bargain-bin lingerie that only looked expensive if you angled your body like a Tumblr-era contortionist, and perhaps the illusion that the people that were viewing your content weren't real. You didn’t even show your face. Just your body - though sometimes doing private videos for the right price, some sultry poses, a well-placed pout you’d perfected in the mirror while pretending to be some sort of pornstar bombshell, and boom—you were in business. Real business. Like, able to pay your rent in full and order takeout everyday no sweat.
It escalated fast. One day you’re nervously posting some artsy nudes, the next you’re getting tipped fifty bucks just for answering questions like, “What’s your favorite color (and can you say it while biting your lip)?” You were sitting in your crusty dorm room still, surrounded by your influx of takeout boxes and cursed technique textbooks you hadn’t opened in weeks, realizing you were somehow becoming a one-woman empire.
So naturally, the next step was chaos: livestreaming. You had heard that could bring in thousands in one night - and honestly? You were starting to build up at least a few hundred subscribers.
“Fuck it,” you said, setting up your laptop, adjusting your ring light, and channeling your inner seductress while fighting back a nervous breakdown, ensuring your mask covered your face fully and that your wig covered all your real hair. Your first camgirl stream was a whirlwind. You were shaking, sweating, probably looking one glitch away from buffering into another dimension with your cracked setup - but the chat?
Tips flying. Comments rolling. People calling you a goddess. Practically throwing money at you to get you to do stuff you had (ashamedly) done for free for other men. Another said they’d sell their soul for a moan.
That was the moment you knew.
You’d made it. Well, all things considered atleast.
Rent? Paid. Groceries? Not a single ramen pack in sight anymore, just takeout bags. Your mental health? Still dicey, but at least now you could afford therapy.
What you didn’t know, though, what no part of your clout filled brain could have prepared for - was that some of the top tippers in your chat? The ones dropping money and borderline-feral compliments like... SixEyesOnly: stretch like that and make that noise again and i think i miiiight just send you an extra 100. OfficeAfterHours: Tipped 50. Please buy yourself some food. And wear socks. It's cold out. (For some reason you followed what he said.) EmoWithaBoner: squeeze the toy harder. pretend its my fuckin neck. Yeah. You saw them every damn day. In class. At the cafeteria. In the fucking jujutsu training hall at college. In all honesty you perhaps weren't the sharpest tool in the shed when it came to connecting the dots. Really.
But that disaster? That story comes later. For now, you were just a broke, horny, slightly unhinged college student who had accidentally stumbled into a side hustle that was by all means paying more than anything you could possibly do with a degree.
And baby, business was booming.

pairing: venom!jay x reader
genre: venom au, one sided rivalry, loser!jay, office coworkers, superhero
synopsis: when a geeky coworker’s transformation catches your eye, curiosity leads to a discovery far darker—and more thrilling—than you ever imagined. now, blackmail has you entangled with jay and his possessive alter ego, venom, in a dangerous game neither of you wants to end.
warnings: kissing, fighting, venom??
note: where are my marvel girlies at whoo hoo! venom is so pookie and my biggest "hear me out" hehe he got me sobbing in the theatre. jay as venom would be SO hot kjvfbvnjb >< so i wrote this to make up for me going mia for a while, i have too much school work so writing will be slow. anyway enjoyyy reading!!
word count: 2.5k
your office life was a balancing act between emails, deadlines, and… keeping your one-sided rivalry with park jongseong alive. jay(as everyone else called him), with his slightly too-short ties and endearing but tragic fashion sense, was the clueless office geek. he was awkward, quiet, and too nice for his own good. yet, no matter how awkward he was, jay always managed to excel in everything he did, effortlessly snagging the praise you thought should have been yours.
what irritated you most was that jay never seemed to notice your rivalry. he was too busy offering you help or giving you his signature polite, bumbling smile. and sometimes, you’d even catch yourself watching him a little too closely, feeling a reluctant warmth for his harmless, good-guy charm.
one afternoon, you wandered over to his desk, smirking as you noticed his usual setup: notebooks organised to the millimetre, a stack of neatly sharpened pencils, and a sticky note that read “be confident!” in his looping handwriting.
he looked up as you approached, adjusting his slightly crooked glasses and giving you a shy smile.
“hey, park,” you began, leaning casually against his desk. “did you remember to double-check the new client report? i know how thorough you like to be.”
jay blinked, his cheeks turning pink. “y-yeah, i went over it twice… just to make sure everything was right.”
“of course you did,” you replied with a playful eye roll. “wouldn’t want our employee of the month slipping up, now would we?”
he smiled, looking down at his notebook. “just doing my best.”
you shook your head, laughing softly. for some reason, you loved seeing him blush, getting him all flustered with a few well-placed jabs. jay was sweet, awkward, and, despite your constant teasing, he never seemed to hold it against you.
but the next week, everything changed.
jay showed up to work that monday looking like a different person. gone were the slightly wrinkled shirts and too-short ties. instead, he wore a fitted, charcoal button-down with the top few buttons undone, revealing a silver chain against his collarbone. his sleeves were rolled up, showing his forearms in a way that made you do a double-take. and he’d traded his old glasses for sleek, dark-rimmed ones that suited him way too well, giving him a smouldering look.
you did a double take as he walked by, giving you a casual, confident nod. “morning,” he said, his voice low and smooth. the bumbling, endearing jay you knew was nowhere to be found.
you shook it off, convincing yourself it was just a fluke. but over the next few days, you couldn’t ignore the transformation.
he traded in his ill-fitting clothes for tailored shirts, stylish watches, and a few artfully unbuttoned collars that showed off his neck and a hint of muscle. it seemed like his glasses had now permanently changed, now sleek and sophisticated, accentuating his jawline in a way that made you, against your better judgement, find yourself staring a little too long.
and it wasn’t just his style—jay’s entire demeanour was different. instead of blushing and stuttering, he’d catch you looking, smirking with a confidence that left you flustered.
one afternoon, you approached him, determined to regain some control of the dynamic. “wow, park,” you said, crossing your arms. “fancy new look. trying to impress someone?”
he looked up, a slow smile spreading across his face. “why? is it working?”
your cheeks heated, but you forced a laugh. “don’t flatter yourself.”
“oh, i don’t need to,” he replied smoothly, leaning back in his chair. “you do a pretty good job of that.”
his words left you speechless, your usual comebacks fizzling as he held your gaze with a smirk. flustered, you turned away, cursing under your breath.
when had park jongseong become… hot?
over the next week, his flirtations continued, growing bolder and more direct. every time you tried to tease him, he’d have a response that left you stumbling. gone was the stammering, geeky coworker you used to playfully bully; in his place was someone who knew exactly how to get under your skin, his newfound confidence throwing you off balance.
but one night after work, things took an unexpected turn.
you’d noticed him acting strange, glancing at his arms as though trying to keep something in check. he slipped out of the office quickly that evening, his face tense, and curiosity got the best of you. you followed him, keeping your distance as he made his way down the street, eventually ducking into a dark alleyway.
hiding behind the corner, you peeked around, pulling out your phone and hitting “record” just in case. what you saw left you speechless.
jay was standing in the middle of the alley, his body tense, his hands clutching his head. dark, inky shadows pulsed along his arms, twisting and curling like tendrils wrapping around him. his posture shifted, his shoulders straightening as the shadows coiled around his body, transforming him into something that was equal parts terrifying and mesmerising.
suddenly, jay let out a deep, guttural growl, his face contorting as sharp, gleaming fangs appeared, his once-soft eyes turning pitch black.
“finally,” a rough, raspy voice rumbled, oozing from jay’s mouth with a sinister excitement. “let’s go for a little… snack.”
a cold chill shot through you as you held up your phone, capturing the whole transformation on video. your heart was racing, but you couldn’t look away. whatever was happening to jay was unlike anything you’d ever seen.
as he turned, his gaze fell on the man who’d appeared in the alley, a figure holding a crowbar, his face twisted in anger. jay’s lips twisted into a wicked grin as he stalked toward the man, his voice dropping into a dark, predatory tone.
“ohhh, you picked the wrong guy to mess with tonight,” the voice sneered, dripping with a twisted glee. “i am going to enjoy this.”
the man froze, his face paling as jay’s shadows coiled around him, binding him in place. jay’s grin widened, his fangs gleaming as he leaned in close.
“run along, before i decide you’d make a nice little snack,” he growled, his voice a terrifying blend of jay’s and something far darker.
the man didn’t hesitate, stumbling away into the shadows. but as jay straightened, his gaze flickered over to you, and his eyes narrowed. in a heartbeat, he was in front of you, his inky black tendrils stretching out to trap you, pinning you against the wall.
you swallowed, trying to keep your breathing steady as he loomed over you, his dark, twisted grin sending a thrill of both fear and fascination through you.
“you… got that on video?” he murmured, his voice back to normal but tinged with a rough edge.
you held up your phone, smirking. “every second of it.”
his eyes flashed with a dangerous glint, and he leaned closer, his face inches from yours. “we could just… eat you, you know. save ourselves a lot of trouble.”
you raised an eyebrow, refusing to back down. “please. you didn’t even eat that guy. there’s no way you’d hurt me.”
he chuckled, the sound low and dark, his gaze flicking over your face. “hmm, true… i like you too much for that.”
the words left you breathless, your heart skipping a beat as you stared up at him, stunned. his face softened, a small, genuine smile replacing the sinister grin.
“so… about that video,” he murmured, his voice laced with amusement.
regaining your composure, you smirked, crossing your arms as best you could with his tendrils pinning you to the wall. “i think i’ll keep it… as insurance. you know, just in case you feel like getting hungry again.”
he tilted his head, his expression thoughtful. “so… what, you’re blackmailing me now?”
“exactly,” you replied, your grin widening. “you’re going to help me out with a few things, and i’m going to keep my mouth shut about your… secret.”
jay sighed, the shadows retracting as he released you, though he kept his gaze locked on yours. “fine. but don’t push it.”
you grinned, savouring the thrill of having the upper hand. “deal.”
over the next few weeks, you took full advantage of your “arrangement.” you had him running errands, fixing things around your apartment, and even carrying your heavy boxes at work. gone was the bumbling, geeky jay you’d known, replaced with someone who wielded both power and confidence—and didn’t hesitate to let you know it.
curiosity getting the best of you one day, you found yourself pulling him aside. “so… about your little… transformation,” you began, eyeing him carefully. “is he, like, a shadow monster or something?”
jay’s eyes widened, and he looked genuinely affronted. “shadow monster?” he repeated, crossing his arms. “he’s a symbiote. and he’s got a name, thank you very much.”
you raised an eyebrow. “a symbiote? i mean, he looks pretty shadowy to me.”
jay sighed, clearly unimpressed with your description. “no, he’s not ‘shadowy.’ he’s a sentient being that forms a bond with his host—me. he’s venom,” jay clarified, the name coming out almost reverently, and with a slight glint in his eye.
“oh, i see. so, he’s a person?”
“well, he has his own… opinions,” jay replied, wincing as he paused. “we’re a package deal, so to speak.”
“damn right, a package deal,” a deep, gravelly voice suddenly rumbled from within jay, and you felt a slight chill as the symbiote made its presence known.
you stared, both amazed and slightly unnerved. “oh… hey there, venom.”
venom chuckled, the sound reverberating low and menacing. “hello, sweetheart. i hear you think i’m a 'shadow monster.' "
jay rubbed the back of his neck, looking slightly exasperated, but there was a hint of amusement in his eyes as he said, “see? he doesn’t like being called that.”
you smirked, glancing at jay and then back at venom. “got it, venom,” you replied, a teasing lilt to your voice. “no shadow monster remarks. i’ll be sure to remember that.”
that evening, you called him over to help fix a squeaky window in your apartment. when he arrived, his sleeves were rolled up, and those dark tendrils emerged, forming into tools as he worked. you couldn’t help but watch, fascinated as he tightened the screws effortlessly, his movements precise and fluid.
he glanced over his shoulder, catching you staring. “see something you like, darling?” he teased, his voice low, laced with that familiar dark humour.
you scoffed, crossing your arms. “keep dreaming, park.”
jay smirked, his gaze flicking over you with a look that was anything but innocent. “oh, i don’t have to dream.”
your face heated, but before you could respond, he leaned closer, his breath warm against your ear. “you know, all you have to do is say the word.”
flustered, you quickly turned away, ignoring the smug grin on his face.
one night, as you were heading home from work, you felt someone following you. before you could react, a man grabbed your arm, yanking you into a dark alley. panic surged through you, your heart hammering as you struggled against his grip. but before you could scream, a low, guttural growl echoed from the shadows.
jay emerged from the darkness, his face twisted into a terrifying, fanged grin, his body wrapped in shadows that made him look both monstrous and mesmerising. he moved faster than you’d ever seen, dark tendrils coiling around the man’s arms, pinning him against the wall with a force that made your would-be attacker whimper.
“didn’t anyone tell you?” he snarled, his voice laced with dark satisfaction, his grin widening to show those gleaming fangs. “not to mess with what's ours.”
the man’s face turned ghostly white as he struggled against jay’s grip, terror flooding his eyes. jay’s smirk only grew, his shadowed form tightening its hold as he leaned in close, as if savouring every second of the man’s fear.
“i should just eat you,” jay’s voice growled, laced with menace and barely-concealed delight. “but you’re too pathetic for even a snack.” with a dismissive sneer, he released the man, letting him stumble away in blind terror, tripping over himself as he fled into the night.
when you looked back at jay, his inky tendrils had retracted, his monstrous form dissolving into something closer to the man you knew. yet his eyes still held that dangerous, possessive glint, and his breathing was still heavy, his gaze locked onto you with an intensity that made your pulse race.
“you okay?” he asked, his voice softer now, but with an edge of something raw and wild. his hand moved to rest on your arm, fingers lingering as if to reassure himself you were safe.
you nodded, swallowing as you tried to steady your breathing. “thanks to you…”
a wicked chuckle escaped him, his head tilting as his eyes darkened with a new, eerie glow. you could feel the presence of that “other” entity in him, lurking just beneath the surface. “oh, she’s safe with us,” it rumbled, making your skin prickle. “but i think she owes us something, don’t you, jay?”
jay’s gaze softened for a moment before that twisted smile took over again, his features shifting, the shadows flickering as he allowed his alter ego to take control.
“you really think i owe you?” you asked, trying to keep your voice steady despite the thrill that coursed through you.
“absolutely,” jay, or rather venom replied, his grin widening. “we didn’t just save you. we protected what’s ours. and i think a little… reward is in order.”
you arched an eyebrow, unwilling to back down. “and what kind of reward does a shadow monster want?”
jay leaned closer, his breath warm and tinged with something dark. “i have a few ideas.” he chuckled, his sharp fangs glinting in the low light. “but don’t worry, sweetheart. we won’t bite… unless you ask nicely.”
your cheeks flushed despite yourself, but you kept your cool. “i don’t think you’re as scary as you want me to believe,” you teased, meeting his dark gaze. “you wouldn’t hurt me.”
his eyes gleamed with amusement. “oh, i could… but where’s the fun in that?” he tilted his head, observing you with a dark curiosity. “besides… jay likes you too much. and, maybe… so do i.”
the admission left you momentarily breathless, your heart pounding as you stared up at him. just as you were about to respond, his face softened, his gaze flicking to your lips before he leaned in.
without waiting another second, jay captured your mouth in a fierce, consuming kiss. the roughness in his embrace was offset by a possessive tenderness that made you melt, your hands gripping his shirt as he pulled you closer.
when he finally pulled back, his eyes flickered between jay’s gentle warmth and venom’s dark amusement. “so, boss,” he murmured, his voice laced with that familiar, playful edge, “any other tasks?”
with a grin, you pulled him closer, “i think i can come up with a few.”
jay chuckled approvingly, his voice a husky whisper against your ear. “good… because we’re just getting started.”
and with that, he leaned in once more, his mouth claiming yours in a kiss that promised this was only the beginning of a thrilling, dangerous new game.

playing match-maker with professor!gojo satoru—”we can’t mind our business!” [nxt]

teaching is incredibly rewarding. nothing beats the sense of fulfillment that comes with educating the next generation—it gives you a sense of purpose and makes you feel like a contributing member of society. but recently, you've developed a guilty pleasure, an unhealthy vice.
because, in truth, what you really find rewarding isn’t teaching. it’s the juicy gossip you share with your colleague, gojo satoru.
it started innocently enough—quick whispers and passing speculations about students during breaks. then it escalated to frantic texts about classroom dramas. now, it’s a full-blown routine: coordinating your lunch breaks to debrief over an aptly chosen herbal tea at the café across the street.
gojo, the physics professor, is an instigator by nature. unfairly brilliant and chronically bored, he’s always looking for ways to entertain himself. you, an english professor with a manageable workload, were the perfect partner in crime. together, you’ve meddled in your students’ lives, and your escapades have become something of a shared hobby.
his preferred method of meddling is match-making, and to your credit you guys have had one successful match:
juniors, kasumi miwa and kokichi muta.
sweet, hardworking miwa was one of your favorite students, always putting extra effort into your creative writing assignments. muta, (aptly nick-named mechamaru) is a genius with mechanics and the president of the robotics club. gojo taught him quantum physics and claimed he was one of the sharpest students he’d ever met.
it started with a haiku.
you’d assigned miwa’s class a poetry assignment, and her submission, though simplistic, immediately caught your attention:
I may not love science, I can’t bring machines to life, yet I yearn for you.
if that wasn’t enough, there were faintly erased doodles of robots holding hands in the margins of her submitted assignments. around the same time, gojo noticed muta sitting strategically in his class so he could be visible through the window into yours. he angled his notes just enough to display his complex equations—clearly trying to impress miwa.
the moment you pieced it together, you texted gojo:
dr. gojo satoru: no way, her haiku is basically screaming I love him
you: lmao I asked her about the inspiration, and she said, “just a friend”
dr. gojo satoru: she’s gonna move on if we don’t act now!
you: what if we double-book office hours for them? “accidentally,” of course
dr. gojo satoru: omg brilliant, drafting the email rn XD
the plan worked. you and gojo “accidentally” scheduled them for office hours at the same time, then conveniently left them alone. miwa, stumped by an intentionally tricky writing assignment, was soon receiving help from muta. numbers were exchanged, tutoring sessions turned into hangouts, and four months later, they were officially dating.
now, every month, gojo extorts a cream puff from muta as a “thank you” for the setup from the pricey bakery downtown. you pretend to disapprove but always end up splitting the treat.
which brings you to your current predicament. you and gojo are locked in a heated debate about which first-year students to set up next. gojo insists itadori yuji and kugisaki nobara are the ideal pair, but you’re convinced yuji and fushiguro megumi are better suited. gojo’s conviction runs so deep he swears it’s ingrained in on an atomic level.
so to raise the stakes, gojo has wagered his louis vuitton messenger bag (est. value: $3k), while you’ve offered up your earnings from the third installment of your self-published ya novel (est. value: $4k). and yes, the fact that those numbers are so close in value is embarrassing.
desperate to prove each other wrong, you agree to consult your colleagues.
gojo’s first choice? philosophy professor getou suguru.
dr. gojo satoru added you and prof. getou suguru to a group chat
dr. gojo satoru named the group chat cupids <3
dr. gojo satoru: getouuuu dr. gojo satoru: getougetougetougetougetou
prof. getou suguru: this is highly unethical.
prof. getou suguru left the chat.
though getou pretends to be above your antics, he shows up to join you in gojo’s office later, coffee in hand and smirking. he brushes a finger across the desk and frowns at the dust.
“if I were willing to entertain your ridiculous game—which I’m not—I’d say megumi and yuji are the better match,” he declares, smugly.
he strolls to the whiteboard, sliding his glasses down from his forehead to settle over his eyes, his black bangs falling neatly into place, and begins sketching a diagram:
utilitarianism: will the act ultimately result in the best overall results—maximizing utility?
• megumi x yuji: opposing personalities balance each other out, ultimately improving their weaknesses. ↳ e.g. megumi silences yuji when he talks over the lecture, while yuji incites megumi to participate more during group projects, increasing his participation.
• nobara x yuji: similar personalities embolden bad habits, ultimately leading to chaos. ↳ e.g. nobara and yuji are rarely late individually, but when they hang out, they end up coming to class late, usually carrying coffee, and snacks.
getou pops the cap back on and crosses his arms, “I rest my case.”
you cheer while gojo groans, insisting getou’s biased.
determined to recruit an ally, gojo drags you to statistics professor nanami kento, the epitome of calm professionalism. confident in his plan, gojo smirks and declares, “once nanami agrees with me, the resident genius, your theory will come to a grinding halt—no momentum, no inertia, just friction stopping you in your tracks.”
nanami’s sitting at his desk engrossed in grading assignments when you all appear in the doorframe. his brown oxfords shined, speckled tie flung loose over his shoulder.
when he notices your presence, he pointedly checks his watch before stating, “you’ve got ten minutes, for,” he gestures, “whatever this is, I leave at six.”
you explain the predicament and nanami rolls his eyes, rubbing at his temples like he’d just got a headache. “sounds like simple probability, for example,” he rises to pick up a piece of chalk from his blackboard:
p (a) = # of favorable outcomes / # of possible outcomes
p (a) represents the probability of event “a”, megumi and yuji coupling up
he draws a number here, a letter there—the equation is getting increasingly hard to follow, even gojo looks dumbfounded.
“two, carry the one. and you get…” he starts completing the result:
p (a) = f(u)<k 0ff
he deadpans, the mirth visible in his eyes, “you guys really thought I’d help you with your childish endeavor, has anyone ever told you to simply just mind your own.”
you huff out offended, “we can’t mind our business! come on, don’t be like that. aren’t you close with yuji, being his advisor and all, you should want the best for him!”
nanami sighs, glancing down again at his watch. five more minutes. he approaches you and flips open his phone, scrolling for a couple seconds.
“here look,” he tilts the screen showing a text thread with yuji:
itadori yuji (freshman): sensei can I ask you something?
nanami k.: what can I do for you itadori?
itadori yuji (freshman): you know how I’m undeclared? well, I love spending time with friends. is it okay for their interests to influence my major?
nanami k.: while the choice should ultimately be your decision itadori, it is only natural that your environment and experiences influence the line of thinking that leads to that decision. which of your peers have you found most influential?
itadori yuji (freshman): I don’t wanna say because I don’t think they realize how much I look up to, and respect them. I’m scared I’ll psyche them out. but they’re terrific: driven, independent, and forthright.
nanami k.: well if those traits are any indicator they seem like a strong, positive influence to your academics.
you finish reading and you all share a look. you start, “okay so, I think I’m confident that with yuji’s messages in mind, we all think, no, are certain, that yuji’s ideal match is…”
“megumi!”
“nobara.”
“megumi!”
“nobara!”
and so, you once again, begin considering who might be the next best person to consult for an additional perspective.
₊✩‧₊˚౨ৎ˚₊ back in their dorms, megumi, yuji, and nobara can’t stop sneezing, the sheer weight of being so heavily discussed tickling their senses.

Flipping the Characters in Futtara Doshaburi
This show is a vibe, and I'm vibing with it. I'm loving everything about these two lonely people desperately seeking intimacy. Watching episode four in the car while the rain poured around me only added to the vibe. That said, being in the car means I can't do my normal screenshot process so semi-relevant gifs it is.
We start with Hagiwara descending into the depths. I mentioned after episode 3 that he still had a more positive outlook on his circumstances. But he's now on his way into the hole where he won't be able to gloss over his unhappiness. Sei is already in the hole. He has been there for a while, he knows he's there, and he's somewhat resigned himself to it.
This change in Hagiwara's attitude is reflected in our aesthetics too. While Hagiwara's home had bright and warm elements last episode, the door to his house is cold and dark after their dinner. It's no longer welcoming. The restaurant is where the warm colors resided.
However, the truly interesting thing to me about this show is in how much this show has flipped the character expectations.
It's flipped the idea of "good guys" and "bad guys" - particularly in a drama that's definitely leading towards cheating. It's pretty standard fair in a cheating drama for the partners to be painted as not caring or evil. But as Hiragawa and Sei make clear in their exchange after the meal, nobody really is in the wrong (yet). It's really unfair to all of them. I actually think Sei's partner has the shortest end of this stick thus far, but that's a different discussion.
The partners of our leads are caring. They cook for our leads. They clean up for our leads. They are kind. But they offer companionship, not sex. This makes them "cruel". It's cruel to be kind.
Our leads actually have only shown minimal considerations towards their partner. Sei sprayed perfume and Hiragawa goes to his girlfriend's social events, but they aren't the ones doing the major acts of service. The have mainly shown care to each other, not their partners. And they mainly want sex (and intimacy, but...the dialogue keeps saying sex) from their partners. In most other shows, our leads would be the "bad guy". The boyfriend who is obsessed with sex and has you do all of the work. But this show is clearly demonstrating that while romance may be in the little things, the little things cannot fill the empty hole. And it's okay to want that hole to be filled.
The characterization of our main leads has flipped as well. The initial setup in episode one depicted Hagiwara as a bit of a bumbling oaf. He sent an email to the wrong address. He forgot to pick up his ID card. Sei, on the other hand, was initially portrayed as the fastidious one handling a business need and admonishing Hagiwara for wearing an id tag that wasn't company issued.
But we have learned that those were false impressions. Hagiwara is good at his job. It's made clear that he's good at planning the company outings. He's good at sales. He's the responsible one gathering and returning the umbrellas. He's the "picky" one at the grill making sure the grilling is done correctly. Sei is the one who stands in the rain and acts a mess. We now know he likely reacted to the id tag because of his complex feelings about who designed it, not because he actually cared about the rules. It's an interesting switch up.
There's also some interesting flips in that Hagiwara is a gregarious guy who talks a lot (he's in sales after all). He not only goes to social events on the regular, he plans them. But he never says what he actually wants. That characterization is more common, but it's still an interesting dichotomy. He is tumblr - only saying his deepest thoughts when writing to a stranger.
Meanwhile, Sei says exactly what he wants. The man is crude and rude, but he's also open with his thoughts. Many taciturn, loner characters are blunt, but few are as open as Sei. He just lays it all out on the table. I wish I could catch the linguistics of Japanese to know if he's actually using rude speech patterns as well, but that's outside of my skillset.
Being a prickly porcupine, Sei is used to people being put off by him. He said earlier that he wasn't nice. And he's not. But we still LIKE him and we still FEEL for him. And that's incredibly difficult to pull off in a show that clocks episodes in at under 25 minutes.
Sei fully expected that Higawara would back off and only give him courtesy greetings once he found out his identity. His friend from college did just that this episode. A few courtesy greetings followed by "Oh you don't have LINE. Guess we won't talk then. Bye." Fujisawa is the only one that seems to have put up with his personality. But Higawara, as bad as he is at expressing his own thoughts, feels comfortable with Sei. He keeps reaching out. He reached out through e-mail. He reached out with an umbrella. He reached out with an invite to treat Sei for helping. He reached out with a dinner invite. And unlike his partner, Sei responds.
For Sei, whose desire to talk keeps getting shut down by his partner, this invitation explicitly to talk is a lifeline. He always responds, taking any hint of Hiragawa reaching out to initiate an entire, probably way-too-honest conversation. After all, the hole is deep.
By the end of the episode, Hagiwara has fully descended into the underground thanks to our pregnant friend spilling the tea. In a bright environment with a lot of light no less (enlightenment I dare say?). He's reaches out to his partner in a final attempt and gets shut down. So he reaches out to Sei. And, Sei does what he always does. He responds. He welcomes someone joining him in the underground. At the end of the day, they both crave the intimacy this connection is providing. But as the storm glass predicts....rain is coming.
How did they fit that much meaty stuff in a 25 minute episode?!
#i don't know where this is going#but i'm here for it#i overthink everything#i could probably write three more essays on this episode#there was so much meta there#futtara doshaburi#when it rains it pours#this post became an essay#my when it rains meta

Chapter One: Arriving On The Wind
Y/N stared at the employment acceptance letter. Your hand trembled. It happened. It was finally happening. A carefully cultivated plan that culminated in an escape from Billings with most of your possessions, a job offer, and even a place to stay until you saved up enough for a place of your own. Most wouldn’t have been so damned lucky.
Still… it was happening. Y/N got away. If Y/N got lucky, maybe Mark didn’t follow you, find you. A tremor in your hand gave away your nervousness, your fear. You swallow hard and brace yourself. You got away. You have the restraining order. You found a self defense class in Big Sky. You’re doing all you can do.
Except… it was so scary. Every step you took, you wanted to flee, turn around and go sobbing apologies into Mark’s arms. You hated it. You felt weak. Your therapist told you over and over it was normal, that it was a natural occurrence that happened between abusers and their victims. It didn’t matter. You hated it.
“Come on, Y/N,” you whisper to yourself. Mark didn’t break you.
You got away.
With a toss of your long auburn hair, a proud lift to your chin, you stepped into the insurance office. There was a ridiculously cheery bell chime attached to the door that made you want to jump out of your skin for half-a-second. It was… well, rather empty. Oh, there was a computer desk setup, the phones lighting up like a Christmas tree, but it was devoid of people.
“Hello?” you call out, hesitant. Did you come to the wrong place? Was the offer letter a fake? God, you hoped not….
You step further inside, your heels clicking against the linoleum floor. You look around the corner, and saw a solitary bathroom door closed. There was light peeking from the bottom of the door. Just as the certainty that someone—possibly the owner—was in there formed in your mind, there was a distinct flush and the sound of the sink running. A moment later, a portly man stepped out.
“May I help you?” he asked, friendly, if guarded.
“Uh, yes,” you said, holding out the letter. “I’m Y/N. I’m here about the job.”
“Oh! Y/N!” He ignored the letter, brightened considerably at you. “Excellent timing! If you weren’t coming in a few days, I was going to have to close up shop for a while.”
You blink, blink again, confused. “I’m sorry?”
“Oh, just some family drama in Tennessee. I’m the only one with Power of Attorney and my bloodthirsty relatives are swarming the waters. I would’ve hated to close the office. Please, come, sit, sit,” he insisted, gesturing to the only chair across the computer desk. “I’m Arthur, as the email says.”
You feel the knot loosening in your chest. Arthur was as cheerful as the offer letter made him sound. He ran over the whole business, allowing you to take out a notepad and scribble notes as he explained. Your history working in insurance was a boon, made it easier for him to turn the reins over to you while he dealt with the family drama.
Several hours later, reasonably confident, with copies of the office keys, you stepped out back into the Big Sky sun. Your mind was spinning with information overload, of program notes and the rules of his insurance department. Oh, Arthur worked with local and franchise insurance providers, but he definitely didn’t follow their rules!
“What can I say? I’m a bit of an anarchist!”
God.
However, just as you turned to head to your car, your gaze went up to the neighboring building: Big Sky Sheriff Department. Would there be any point whatsoever…? Evidently your body was saying ‘yes’ as you found yourself walking over to the front door of the department. Before you knew it, you were standing in front of a secretary desk with a sweet, older woman with a tight, gray-haired bun.
“Hi there! How can I help you?” she asked. She’s got a smear of lipstick on her teeth.
You were trying to decide how to tell her when a presence caught your attention. The door to your right opened, the one reading ‘Sheriff Beau Arlen’, and a tall man with bowlegs stepped out. There was something about him, something beyond his attractive looks, that caught your eye. Not that he was ugly; God, far from it.
The secretary glanced over, saw the way you were staring, and smirked. “He’s a tall drink of water, ain’t he?”
You couldn’t look away. After a long moment, it dawned on you why you were drawn to him. He projected this protective air, a kind of warmth, that was at once guarded and incredibly open. As though, if you asked, he’d give you a hug that’d encompass you all over and soothe your hurt away.
When he glanced over, he gave you a polite nod, and oh my God—his eyes. They were so damned green you thought your heart was going to stop. A kind of mossy green that looked as though the sun were shining through them. He had thick lashes—that was so unfair, how dare he have thicker lashes than you?—and a neatly trimmed beard. There was the slightly crook to his nose, a minor imperfection that made everything else just seem all that more incredible. His hair was a bit on the long side, neatly combed back.
“Everythin’ all right, Doris?” he asked, walking over.
For the love of God, Y/N, breathe. You took a shaky breath and call up a smile that felt all kinds of nervous.
Doris smirked at you again. Goddammit. “Well, I don’t know, Beau, this youngin’ hasn’t said anything yet.”
Beau shot you a warmer smile and held out his hand. “Sheriff Beau Arlen, ma’am, at your service.”
Oh don’t you dare say anything dirty, Y/N. Once again, you force yourself to act, to move. “H-hi! I’m Y/N,” you said, taking his offered hand. His fingers felt rough and his hand was warm. The handshake alone was electric, firm. He wasn’t shy about making his strength known.
“Well, nice to meet you, miss,” Beau said, a slight questioning look in his green eyes. “How can we help you today?”
It dawned on you that his accent was out of place in Montana. If anything, it sounded…. “You’re from Texas,” you observed curiously.
Beau’s smile widened. “I am,” he said, hitching his hip against Doris’s desk. “You ever been?”
“Austin, once,” you said with a smile, finding yourself relaxing. “For the music festival.” He was so instantly likable, you were wondering if you were imagining it.
“Good choice,” he said with a nod. “Always nice to meet a fan of ACL.” He shifted his head, just a bit, with a curious tilt. “As much as I’d like to keep talkin’ to a pretty lady, Doris will kill me if I keep sitting on her desk like this.”
“Or threaten to keep my lasagna to myself,” Doris quipped, watching you and Beau with a keen eye.
Beau gave Doris a horrified look. “Doris! Would you really be that cruel?”
“Yes.”
Y/N laughed. The banter was delightful, as was Doris’s wicked grin. “It sounds like the lasagna is really delicious.”
“Big Sky has a lasagna competition—don’t ask me why—and every year, Doris wins,” Beau said, praising his secretary. “She treats me once a week with a big ol’ casserole dish of it. That she’s darin’ to threaten to withhold—”
“Then do your job, sheriff,” Doris said, pinning him with a steely look of her dark eyes. “And take this youngin’ into your office and talk to her.”
“You just said you don’t know what she wanted!” Beau said defensively. Clearly the idea of losing access to Doris’s lasagna was terrifying for him.
Doris whipped a look on you and you knew you were in trouble. “Well?”
All at once, the knot tightened again. Your voice didn’t want to work. Your heart was pounding. It must’ve shown in your face because Doris’s demeanor gentled at once.
“Beau, take her into your office,” Doris said, and there was something different in her voice. A note of compassion that nearly had you weeping.
“Yeah, yeah, hey… come on,” Beau said gently, lightly taking your hand with one hand and the other barely touching the small of your back.
Once he had you in a chair in his office, he shut the door and moved to sit across from you. He leaned forward with a concerned frown. “You all right, darlin’? Need water? Coffee?”
You shook your head. “No…” You managed to talk, finally. You took a breath, then another. The knot loosened enough for you to breathe fully again. “I’m sorry, I don’t usually fall apart like that.”
He shook his head. “Don’t worry about it. We get all sorts of folks here in Big Sky. Sometimes, they’re a bit skittish like you. Just gotta treat you gentle and nice, like approachin’ a deer.”
You quirk a brow at him. You never imagined you’d be compared to a deer. “I’m sorry?”
Beau half-smiled. “That got you to shift gears, didn’t it?”
It did. It was such a bizarre comparison her brain shifted into the peculiarities of it instead of dwelling on Mark and why you were here. You couldn’t help it, you let out a soft laugh and shook your head. “I… yeah, it did.”
Beau sat patiently, giving you a gentle, waiting look.
It was that precise expression that had you pouring everything to him. Not all the details—no, that was too much—but how you escaped an abusive relationship, how you moved to Big Sky to get away, how you had to fight for a restraining order… and the fear that Mark would track you down. You didn’t want the sheriff’s department to go blind about any possible phone calls. You wanted them warned, prepared.
Within minutes of you starting, Beau pulled out a notepad and pen, and began taking notes. He’d ask questions, nothing too probing, sensing you weren’t ready. He asked for information—Mark’s full name, his date of birth, his last known address. He asked for the details of the charges, and that had you choking up at one point, especially when you mentioned staying at the hospital….
That part had Beau stopping, and something dark and angry flashed in those beautiful green eyes. Then it was gone and he gave you a soft nod to keep going. Through it all, you had the feeling he was genuinely listening, genuinely cared. Billings Police Department was never like this.
It took over an hour.
Beau raked his fingers through his hair and nodded. “Well. I’ll make sure the deputies are updated on this, miss Y/N,” he said, glancing at the pages he wrote. “That way if you give us a call, we’ll know what’s going on. I’ll have Doris reach out to Billings PD for the files, that way we have copies. Especially your restrainin’ order.”
He paused, weighing his next words. He reached into his top desk drawer, pulled out a card, and slid it over. “My phone number. If you ever feel you need to talk, if somethin’ got you jumpy, whatever, give me a call.”
Your gaze snapped up to him, more than a little surprised. “I can’t—”
“Y/N.” The way he said your name, with that Texas drawl, had your heart stuttering. “There ain’t no shame in acceptin’ help. Take my number. You don’t have to call. I just want you to have the option.”
You swallow hard. Pride goeth, as the idiom went. You take the card, your fingers trembling slightly. You felt Beau’s gaze sharpen on your hands, and wanted to pull away. Instead, you fought that reaction and gave him a weak smile.
“Thank you… sheriff,” you said, hesitating on whether it’d be all right to call him by his name.
“Call me Beau.” He got up, walked around his desk and offered you his hand. You pause, then took the offered hand. How was it he seemed so much warmer than before? “I promise you… if he comes around, I’ll know, and he won’t be able to sneeze without me knowin’.”
Normally such a reassurance would make you laugh, mostly out of disbelief, but Beau’s declaration felt real. As though he truly meant it. “Are you always this helpful?”
He grinned. “Only for pretty ladies.”
This time you did laugh, but it’s soft and startled. His whole face transformed with that line, playful and boyish. “Well, thank you, Beau. I really appreciate it.”
Beau escorted you out of his office, again that light hand on the small of your back. “Anytime, miss. Promise me you’ll call if you need somethin’.”
You glance at him over your shoulder as you reach the door. “I will,” you promised with a smile, feeling lighter, more hopeful.
Doris watched you leave, then quirked a look up at Beau. “Well?”
“Doris… she’s gonna be trouble.”

neighbor!keegan is super handy! <3

🏠 neighbor!keegan notices you when you first move in, but he doesn’t introduce himself just yet- he knows you’ll probably need time to unpack, adjust to the new space, etc. he’s also not sure how you feel about strangers helping you carry your personal belongings, even though he’d really like to help you. it’s just in his nature to serve others!
🏠 the first time you see him, he’s either out in the garage tinkering with his car or working on some sort of project. he likes to keep his hands busy, always fixing or constructing something…though he can certainly think of some ways to use his hands with you ;)
🏠 neighbor!keegan is in his own little world, humming along to the music playing on his speakers while he works away, so he doesn’t immediately notice you from across the street while you’re getting your mail. you can see the muscles in his arms ripple, the slight sheen of sweat from his efforts and the way it makes his t-shirt cling to his form. you’ve got the best seat in the house! if you stare too long, he’ll definitely feel your eyes though- he’s just extra keen like that :)) once he actually spots you, he’ll conveniently stop what he’s doing and grab his mail too, raising his palm as a quick wave while he walks to the end of his driveway.
🏠 “you reminded me to get mine,” he calls with a smile when he reaches his mailbox, and you can’t help but check him out; he’s in a delicious sweet spot between buff and lean, and he’s a good bit taller than you! he’s got pretty blue eyes that most definitely pick up on your ogling, and a rich, low voice that could say all kinds of things to you 🫣 behind him, you see the setup of tools and supplies in his garage, and you immediately know he’s a handy guy- doesn’t hurt that he’s super cute too. it looks like he could help you out in all sorts of ways! <3
🏠 you stand by your mailbox as you introduce yourself, and he leans on his own while he asks you how you’ve been liking the house and the neighborhood, if you’ve had any issues, etc. this man’s gotta collect his intel! it’s the perfect time to offhandedly mention that everything is great except for the fact that the previous owner left all the tile for the backsplash on the kitchen walls but never even started the job :/ keegan’s appalled! how could they leave all that work to you?? :( luckily he’s got mortar and a trowel on hand for times like these, and he’d be happy to take care of it for you- just give him a good time to come over and he’s there!
🏠 a real sweetie, neighbor!keegan is. he’s over a couple of days later, tools in hand, and you immediately like the feeling of him being in your house once he steps inside. he’s quiet while he works, focused and back in his own little world while you answer emails on your laptop in the living room, but he’s grateful when you tell him he’s more than welcome to play his music :’) turns out he has an impeccable playlist, and soon enough you’re humming along with him from your work area! he thinks it’s adorable and just has to remark on it in his own way of teasing. “heh, you don’t look like you’d listen to this kinda stuff.”
🏠 you laugh and look over at him from your desk, admiring how all those muscles in his back and arms flex as he applies the tiles to the walls :’) “what’s that supposed to mean?” you tease back, and you only hear him let out a low chuckle. “i dunno…” is all you get sheepishly in response- you can’t see it, but he’s totally blushing <33
🏠 neighbor!keegan finishes installing the backsplash as you both chat every once in a while, but even the silence is comforting with him around; you could definitely get used to having him in your space! he eventually calls for you to come take a look; he really wants to do a good job for you so he can do more projects around your house…and maybe you too ;) you come into the kitchen, and it of course looks beautiful!! he loves seeing how your face lights up when you admire his craftsmanship :) you’re already reaching in your wallet to give him some cash, but he’s quick to wave it away. you’ve never had a neighbor so giving of their time!! however, when you offer to order dinner from a place of his choice as a thank you, he just can’t deny spending more time with you <3
🏠 once you actually sit down with him, you find out that neighbor!keegan has a super dry sense of humor. he doesn’t need to say much to have you cracking up, and god does he love the sound of your laugh! he asks you about your move, where you came from, the reason you relocated here, etc., because he’s eager to learn any scrap of information there is to know about you. you’ve totally piqued his interest, and he’s pretty sure he’s piqued yours too :)
🏠 he’s normally pretty even-keeled, not one to ever rush things unless it’s an emergency, but you must be giving him some signals during dinner that you really like his presence- and he’s all too aware of you to ignore them! it started off as you two sitting just a liiiiittle bit closer on your couch, but it soon evolves into you straddling his lap while his mouth explores from your lips to your chest- all he can do in between those kisses is murmur about how pretty you are with that low, husky voice of his as his hardworking hands roam and squeeze all over you :’)
🏠 neighbor!keegan ends up leaving that night without things escalating too far, mainly out of consideration so you didn’t feel rushed or pressured, but then he’s at your door a couple of nights later telling you he can’t stop thinking about you :(( a neighbor coming to you in a time of need- it would simply be rude not to help him, right? he did do a beautiful job with the backsplash in your kitchen, not to mention!
🏠 this, plus the clear fact that he’s an unbelievably attractive guy, are enough reason for you to be splayed out on your kitchen counter with your legs over his shoulders, his tongue lapping at your clit like you’re the sweetest thing he’s ever tasted <3 your head rolls back at how good his mouth feels on you, and you get to appreciate his work all over again when you notice the beautiful backsplash behind you :’) he must be that detailed and focused in all areas of his life, because somehow he’s already managed to make you cum all over his mouth and fingers too many times to count!
🏠 if you couldn’t get a good look at his craftsmanship from earlier, now you can when he bends you over the counter and fills you with his thick cock <3 he knows just what to say to have you fluttering around his length and moaning out his name: “take it, princess…”, you feel so good, baby…” “uh huh, so perfect for me…” you know how he likes to keep his hands busy, evident by the way they’re gripping and squeezing your flesh wherever they can as he pounds into you and tells you how good you’re taking him :’)
🏠 neighbor!keegan is your new favorite installation in your kitchen as he fucks you on your counter, making you arch your back for him before he coats your insides with his hot load <33 he’s quick to pick up your shaky, sexed-out body, sweeping you away to your bed before heading to your bathroom to start a bath for you. he learns something: he’d much rather keep busy taking care of you than any of his house or car projects!
🏠 you hear the bath water turn on, and neighbor!keegan is quiet for a moment before you hear him pipe up. he must he checking out your shower, already planning his next opportunity to come over, and you laugh when you hear his dry observation. “hey…think the tile might need to be fixed in here, too.” of course you’d let him start a new project in your home, as many as he wanted to, really- he’s clearly very skilled with his hands, after all ;)

hello 👋🏼
first loving the twiyor 😌
second I have a tech question I was hoping you might be able and willing to answer: are the 'we send you a link to your email to log in instead of using your password' actually more secure or are businesses just being mean to me personally?
hope your day is kind 😊
Ok so Authentication (going to call it auth going forward) is a very large topic and there is some baseline info I want to convey before answering you question.
First, auth breaks down into 3 methods. Confirming what someone knows, confirming what someone has, confirming what someone is.
What you know: this is the traditional password method, do you remember your password you made for us? Do you remember your username? great you can get in if you know those. Stealing these creds is very straight forward, you either guess until you are right or you steal them from where someone has them stored/written down. This is why you should NEVER store your password in a browser and use a password manager instead. I would rather see people write passwords on post-it notes then store them in Google Chrome or Edge. Seriously, it is incredibly easy to steal passwords from Chrome.
What you have: have ever been asked to put an MFA pin into a phone app? that's this method, they are putting predictable generated numbers on your phone that you can then turn around and use to prove you are in physical possession of your phone. This is much more difficult to steal and usually requires physically accessing a phone or infecting it in some fashion to steal the generation algorithm. PS: If a site uses a text message instead of an app to send a pin that is less secure because SIM duplicating is easier then both the above methods for theft (i dont know the details on how to sim dup but I know no good security team takes sms pins seriously)
What you are: This is stuff like Apple's face id, windows hello, finger scan. Anything that is unique to your physical body that can be scanned to confirm who you are. This is either incredibly difficult or super easy to break depending on how the program is written. for example Face ID had an issue where it could not differentiate between particular ethnicities, also someone (the police) can just hold your phone up to force the unlock. This is usually a good method to use in conjunction with one of the others to make Auth more difficult.
So which one is better? Well each one has its pros and cons which means the most secure method is using more then one. This is called Multi Factor Authentication or MFA for short.
So lets go back to your question, is getting a login link more secure then say remembering a password. Well how secure is access to your email? if your email just requires a username and password to get into, then it is the same security level.
If you have your email setup with MFA where you need to password and pin into it then it is probably more secure then some random sites username password pair.
Also we need to ask questions about the links themselves, do you get the same link each time or is a new one created each request? How are they generated? how long until a link expires? is the link email sent via TLS? Which version of TLS? How are they stored or Are they stored? Is link generation predictable, if I had enough info could i just make my own links for any user?
Honestly I think the biggest benefit of this auth method happens on the website side and less the end user side. This requires less development to create, also they do not need to figure out how to store and keep your passwords, and if they get hacked there are no passwords to be stolen since they literally don't use them. Having passwords stolen is when law enforcement needs to get involved (Law enforcement needs to be contacted in the event any Personally Identifiable Information or PII is stolen). So if they do not use passwords that is one less PII they have in their possession.
Overall passwords are shit and anyone trying to make an effort to not use passwords or to not allow just passwords is at least making an effort to have a better security posture. But if it is actually more secure really depends, passwordless is new territory for a lot of people so its going to have growing pains.
hopefully this answers your question! if you want more clarification let me know.

Not All That Glitters is Gold Part 5
Hello! This story is coming along nicely and we're getting close to Eddie's reveal.
Steve goes on a roller coaster of emotions in this one. We get a peek on how even in one week that he could have a bad time and then a good time. And Robin is the bestest friend a boy could have.
Part 1 Part 2 Part 3 Part 4
@mira-jadeamethyst @rozzieroos @itsall-taken @redfreckledwolf @emly03
****
Steve unlocked the door to the alphas’ apartment and let himself in. He had everything setup in mere minutes. He changed into the outfit he would be wearing. It started with the lacy underwear. Just a shade more pink than white. Tasteful but sexy.
Then chinos and polo. No belt. It was an extra item of clothing that would get in the way later. The polo was pink. A bright baby pink. He tamped down on the feelings of disgust at the stereotype. He had a job to do and he would do it well. A pair of loafers that would be able to be kicked off later.
Steve was practically seething when his clients walked through the door. Not only were they not dressed in similar attire, they were dressed in the exact opposite. They were punks. Both men were in ripped jeans, sheer tank tops and a shit ton of metal and leather jewelry. Kyle had the side shaved ‘do with it dyed bright red. Monty had a neon green mohawk.
But they had specifically asked for him to be in the polo and chinos. He was upset that they didn’t fully explain that the fantasy wasn’t about a regular threesome. No...it was about them fucking a prep.
Steve straightened up on the inside, all steel spine and iron core. On the outside, his shoulders rounded, his features softened, and he went full tilt diva.
Kyle and Monty licked their lips in anticipation.
It started slow. Hands and feet rubbing against Steve’s body over his clothes at dinner. Wine and loose limbs as those same hands slipped under his clothes.
Dessert was chocolate dipped strawberries as Kyle and Monty made out, using Steve as catalyst. Hands and mouths roamed as they finally made it to the bedroom.
Sex was searing hot and just this side of gentle romance. Once they were done and out cold, Steve got dressed and slipped out under the cover darkness, Robin and Xander cleaned up after Steve and gathered all the things he brought with him.
And only when they had pulled away from the curb and started for home did Steve relax.
“I want them on the blacklist,” Steve bit out. “And I want homemaker removed from my list of roleplays. I refuse to do it from now on.”
Robin quickly and quietly did as she was told. She would have asked if it was any other time, but she had known going in that this very thing could be the consequence.
“You’ll be happy to know that the gang bang has been cancelled,” she said in lieu of asking.
Steve turned to her slowly. “What do you mean?”
“Apparently the lead singer got wind of the gang bang and threw a fit,” she said pulling up the email on her tablet. “He did not consent to such a thing and neither did any of the other members in the band.”
He winced. “Ouch. I wonder why the manager thought they would go along with it in the first place.”
Robin rubbed her lower lip with her finger. “My guess?” Steve nodded. “I think this manager was hoping to get in on the action himself and write it off on his taxes as a business expense.”
“Gross,” Steve muttered. “Well I’m glad the singer caught on before I went to the gang bang and it got awkward fast.”
She nodded. “So you’ll have plenty of time to recover from tonight before Lenny’s rut.”
He breathed out a sigh of relief. “I think I’m just experience a rash of bad luck lately. I can’t wait for Lenny’s rut. It’ll be nice to have a nice routine session without all of this drama.”
Robin couldn’t help but agree.
****
Steve relaxed the minute he got into Lenny’s presence. The comedian was still cognizant enough to be laughing and joking the minute he walked through the door.
Slowly as Lenny slipped into the mindlessness of the rut, Steve grew more confident. This was what he was made for. The alpha’s brain turned to fucking the pretty omega and he preened under the attention.
The possessive growling, the scenting, and the burying his cock into Steve’s body was like a dream. He didn’t have to guide Lenny like he had to with Dillon. Lenny’s body knew what to do. What it wanted. And what it wanted in that moment, was Steve. Nothing but Steve.
Steve had gotten up to make them something to eat as Lenny’s rut had ebbed for the moment. He had pulled on a pair of shorts and had padded out to the kitchen.
That was another reason he loved Lenny. Since he was an older alpha his moments of clarity lasted long enough to make full meals instead of trying to shove calories into the raging alpha as quickly as possible.
He felt arms wrap around him and chin hook over his shoulder.
“You know I don’t like it when I wake up and you’re not there, Steve,” Lenny rumbled against his back.
Steve chuckled. “My apologies, alpha. I thought I had a few more minutes. I was going to bring you breakfast in bed.”
Lenny scented along Steve’s chin. “Such a good omega,” he rumbled. “Good enough to eat.” He nibbled on Steve’s earlobe.
Steve full on laughed at that. “Still in the rut then. That joke was terrible.”
Lenny laughed too. “What’s for breakfast, then?”
“Your favorite,” he murmured, fighting the urge to let Lenny have his way with him on the kitchen counter. He could feel the heat from the alpha radiating into his bones. “Full English breakfast, complete with tomatoes and black pudding.”
Lenny cooed. “You know how to treat a bloke.” He reluctantly pulled away from Steve, who immediately missed the warmth.
He filled up two plates and carried them over to the table. He pulled out Steve’s chair and let him sit first.
“This is divine, Stevie,” he murmured after he took his first bite.
Steve preened under the attention. He was a good cook. Not because of his job, but in spite of it. Most of the time he didn’t have the time to fix full meals, relying on protein shakes and bars, fruit snacks and smoothies, to get as much nutrition in in the shortest amount of time.
So he learned to cook for himself and for clients like Lenny who’s ruts were more spread out so that they could enjoy a fine meal or two. Watching Lenny savor every bite was well worth the time Steve had taken to learn the skill.
He didn’t have time to clean up, unfortunately as Lenny’s rut came back in full force toward the end of their meal.
He casually picked Steve up and tossed him over his shoulder to Steve’s absolute delight.
Lenny kicked the door shut behind him and flopped Steve down on the bed.
Steve’s inner omega trilled in anticipation as the alpha advanced on him, the dark earthy smell of a field after the rain enveloping Steve’s senses.
That scent would be all he knew for the next couple of days. Not once did Lenny’s scent turn sour like he had known with other alphas. Steve wasn’t sure if it was because Lenny was older or if it was because Steve was genuine friends with the alpha, but it was always a pleasure spending his rut together.
“Always a joy,” Lenny said as he watched Steve pack up.
Steve grinned and came over and kissed the alpha on the lips. “It is for me, too.”
The alpha growled playfully. “Are you sure the tickets are the only favor I can do for you?”
“I’ll let you know if there is anything else,” Steve cooed.
Lenny laughed. “Go on, get!”
Steve wiggled his ass as he sauntered out of the comedian’s apartment.
****
Robin walked into the suite and found a note on the counter next to an envelope.
“Stop procrastinating!
Ask her out! Lenny gave me two tickets on the front row. Not center. But close enough that Vickie could count his freckles.
I know you used my news about Nancy and Jonathan’s coming pup to chicken out last week.
You have no more excuses. She wants to go out with you!
-Steve”
She let out a huff of laughter. She opened the envelope and sure enough there were the tickets she had jokingly asked for for Vickie’s birthday.
She looked down the hall where she knew Steve would be sleeping off the rut and smiled fondly. She loved her best friend.
She grabbed his duffle bag and threw the clothes into the laundry. She then made a list of the things he used up on this job and put it up on the fridge for Steve to see.
Robin then opened the drapes and the doors to the terrace so that Steve would be woken up to soft natural light.
Then she sat down and started going through Steve’s schedule. Sometimes he was booked several weeks in a row, sometimes he didn’t have anything until two or three days before an event.
That was the nature of the job. She personally liked it when there wasn’t anything for Steve to get ready for. She knew he liked his job and did it well, but there were times where she thought he was just trying to fill the silence in his head with sex.
When he got like that she made sure to schedule dinners with friends and soulmate days. To show him he was more than just a hole to be fucked.
Thankfully Lenny Goodwin was the perfect antidote to Steve feeling used. Lenny liked Steve. They hung out outside of Lenny’s ruts. Steve went to his comedy shows all the time and they got along great.
The only reason Lenny didn’t buy Steve’s contract is that there were just too many times when Lenny would be on tour out of the country. And he didn’t want to drag any omega through that, let alone one as social as Steve was.
Robin rubbed her chin thoughtfully. Steve’s breakdown about not being able to have pups got her brain whirling. She wanted to help him the best that she could. And if that meant finding an alpha who would want to buy Steve’s contract because they adored Steve, then so be it.
She exited out of Steve’s schedule and pulled up Steve’s client list. His regulars.
She immediately crossed out any who had attempted to buy Steve’s contract in the past. She knew they were only looking for sex slaves. She narrowed down the ones that had a variety of things they requested from Steve.
Ones that only wanted rut servicing or just arm candy for events got crossed off, too. They weren’t interested in Steve as a person, just an omega to look pretty or fill a need.
Robin chewed on her thumb as she went through the list and found that she had crossed off every one of Steve’s clients.
She tossed her tablet to the side with a huff. This was harder than she thought it would be.
Theoretically she knew she had the time. Steve was still young. He was barely twenty-eight. Way too early to think about retirement, really. But on the other hand she worried what would happen to her best friend the longer he went without finding that connection.
She looked at the tickets and sighed. He was right about that, though. She was procrastinating.
Robin picked her phone and dialed Vickie’s number.
“Hey, darling,” she cooed into her phone. “Your birthday is coming up and I wanted to do something special. Just the two of us.”
She smiled wide. “Yeah, baby. A date.”
She held the phone from her ear as Vickie squealed her excitement. She could worry about her best friend later, right now?
She’s got a date to plan.

You’re All I’ve Got Tonight

part i
office exec!Leon S. Kennedy x personal assistant fem!reader
Warnings: 18+ minors DNI, dirty talk, kissing, nipple/breast play, grinding, unprotected sex, creampie
Actually looked over with a second pair of eyes by the ever lovely @rex122303 ✌️ you have my unwavering devotion 🙇♀️
title from You're All I’ve Got Tonight by The Cars
⋘ 𝐍𝐨𝐰 𝐥𝐨𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠…⋙ ████████ 100%
You’ve been giving Leon the cold shoulder since that scandalous night in his office. You know it’s not his fault he was suddenly called up by the CEO to handle some business altercation out of state.
But he could have called you or left a message or, hell, he could have emailed you. So when he shows up a week later, you’re short and to the point, never staying late and always disappearing if it looks like you’ll be alone with him.
If he’s frustrated with you, you don’t really care (you do, but you’ll never admit it). He’s still cordial, still touchy feely when he can get away with it, like when brushing past you in the boardroom, but you stay firmly polite even if his touch makes you press your thighs together.
It all comes to a head a few weeks later when an overnight trip to a business summit’s announced for the small team under Leon’s advisement. This small team also includes you, much to your chagrin. So you prep and plan, making sure all the emails are filled with the correct dossiers and agendas for each individual person and marking off the calendar accordingly.
Leon tries to corner you time and again as you get everything setup, but you’re able to duck out of it every single time. You know it’s not very mature of you to avoid him, but you still feel embarrassed about the reaction you had when he ghosted you, even if it wasn’t entirely his fault. Your pride took one hit already, so now you’re just trying to avoid another.
The date for the summit arrives far too quickly and you’re all holed up in the rental van to drive out of the city to the nearby retreat that’s hosting. You make small talk with Ark, a really sweet guy who works in IT. He’s friendly without being overbearing so the drive passes by comfortably although not quickly.
Arriving at the retreat, everyone piles out of the van, grabs their luggage, and makes their way to the front desk. Bad luck on your part lands you at the end of the line standing next to Leon. Surprisingly, he doesn’t try to chat you up or anything, just scrolling on his phone with a little furrow between his brows. You stare ahead watching as the rest of the team grab their room keys and disappear further into the foyer.
“Hi there and welcome! Checking in?”
The perky brunette behind the desk smiles at you, making you smile back, but before you open your mouth Leon steps in front of you.
“Hi! Checking in for Kennedy.”
Your smile tightens as you side step so you’re standing a little behind Leon now. The lady sends you a quick sympathetic look as she types in his name.
“You’re all set, sir,” she hands him a keycard, “if you need anything whatsoever please don’t hesitate to contact the front desk or the concierge. Please have a wonderful stay!”
She turns to you and repeats the same greeting making you internally wince in sympathy as she types in your information. Her smile falters and eventually drops into a confused frown.
“I’m terribly sorry, but it seems like your party has all checked in and there are no more rooms available,” she types for a few more seconds before turning back to you with an apologetic smile, “and seeing as we’re fully booked, you can check and see if one of your colleagues—“
“She can room with me,” Leon offers flippantly, giving the brunette another smile, before turning back to his phone, “it’s not a big deal.”
She turns to you, eyebrows raised in question and you sigh, pinching the bridge of your nose.
“It’ll be fine,” you plaster a fake smile on and look over at Leon, “I appreciate it, Mr. Kennedy.”
He gives you a smarmy little grin, “Not a problem, madam secretary.”
You roll your eyes at him and turn back in time to grab the spare keycard.
The young woman rattles off the same spiel as you grab your luggage, “If you need anything whatsoever please don’t hesitate to contact the front desk or the concierge. Please have a wonderful stay!”
You follow Leon through the foyer and over to the elevators, thanking your lucky stars no one from your office will actually see that you’re bunking with the boss. Butterflies threaten to flutter in your chest but you tamp them down, not letting yourself get swept away like last time.
Leon lets you stew in your own thoughts as you enter the tenth floor, leading you down the hall to the room you’ll be sharing. He unlocks the door and holds it open, gesturing for you to enter first. You nod and roll your luggage case in behind you only to stop dead in the little hallway into the room.
“There’s just one bed,” you blurt out, disbelief sweeping over you.
Leon walks up next to you, letting the door swing shut.
“Oh wow, that’s really unfortunate,” he shrugs, sounding a little too blasé.
You squint at his side profile, “I’ll see if they can send in a roller bed—“
Leon scoffs, “Look it’s a king size bed, we can share like civilized adults.”
You purse your lips, “Mmhmm, and it’s not just awfully convenient we ran out of rooms for everyone and now we just happen to have to share a bed?”
Leon grins at you, the one that always makes those damn butterflies flutter.
“Just really weird co-winky-dinks,” his grin widens when you fight the smile wanting to slip out, instead giving him another eye roll.
“Okay,” you throw your hands up with a sigh, “it’s only a short weekend trip.”
One of the reasons you’ve been avoiding Leon is it’s so easy to slip into the comfortable back and forth you’ve already built up. So it’s next to no time before he’s already weaseled a laugh out of you with his shitty one liner jokes. You’re a little nervous now that you’re kinda back on friendly terms, especially after you explained yourself.
Now, he’s ordering room service for you both while you jump in the shower, letting yourself spend some extra time on shaving and primping before leaving the bathroom. Not for any ulterior motives or anything you think to yourself as you finish putting on your moisturizer.
When you come out of the bathroom, Leon slips past you and shuts the door. You see that he hasn’t eaten yet, deciding to wait on you to finish up, which makes you feel warm and fuzzy at the thoughtful gesture. So you wait in turn, drinking some water as you channel surf, settling on a show about an elderly mystery writer who always stumbles upon a murder that needs solving.
You’re pretty engrossed with J.B. Fletcher’s hunt for the killer, but when Leon steps out of the bathroom he draws all of your attention. His face is obscured as he dries his hair with a towel, leaving you to ogle his bare chest and toned stomach with his low slung sweats sitting on his hips, his happy trail catching your eye last.
You make sure to be looking away by the time he drops the towel around his shoulders.
“You should’ve went ahead,” he nudges your side, sitting down next to you on the bed.
“Eh, just thought I’d wait,” you smile at him, nudging him back as he grabs one of the food containers.
You grab another container and you both watch the rest of the show as you eat a late dinner. After tossing the trash away, you brush your teeth side by side at the double sinks, and find your way into bed.
After settling underneath the blankets, Leon rolls over and props his head up on his palm.
“So no goodnight kiss?”
You roll over to mirror him, eyes taking in his half smile and damp fringe.
“What makes you think you should get a goodnight kiss?”
“Lots of reasons,” his hands shoot out to grab your waist, yanking you into his body.
“I think you owe me a lot of making up, honey,” he murmurs, dropping a kiss to your cheek.
One heated kiss leads to another and before you know it—
“Oh god,” you whine, grinding slowly against Leon.
His cock is trapped in your panties, rubbing all along your dripping slit as he ruts against your cunt. His back rests against the headboard of the hotel room bed with you straddling his lap.
You’ve been like this for an hour already; his lap and your thighs are soaked in slick and precum.
“S’good,” he mutters under his breath, dilated eyes watching your tits jiggle, “wanna stay like this for the rest of the weekend.”
Goosebumps trail down your arms as you shiver, body completely bare except for your panties.
“What about the presentation, sir? The actual summit?”
Leon grins lazily, dragging his eyes up to your face, “What about’em? I’m just trying to hump this little pussy.”
You whimper and rock against him harder.
The grin on his face widens, “Yeah, you like it too, like my fat cock rubbing all over this soaked cunt.”
“Leon,” your nails dig into his shoulders, eyes clenched shut.
“I wanna slide it in, but this feels too good,” he grunts, feeling your clit catch on the tip of his dick, “c’mere and let me suck on those tits, know you like that.”
You rock forward, pressing your chest out as his mouth leans up to suck on your hard nipples. He groans low in his chest as his lips and tongue work one hard bud while his fingers tweak and pinch the other. Your hips give short little thrusts as sharp bolts of arousal buzz in your clit.
Sloppy sounds of sucking fill the room along with your pants and whines as Leon lathes your breasts with his attention.
“Leon I want it, want your cock in me, please,” you gasp out as he bites your nipple and runs his tongue across it over and over until you’re squirming against him.
“Think you deserve it?” he kisses across your breasts, teeth nipping at the skin as he swaps to the other nipple.
“Please, want it, I’m so empty,” you whine.
“You've been ignoring me, honey,” he mockingly pouts up at you, lips swollen and hair messy, “outright avoiding me, I’d say.”
“You were mean,” you whine and he pinches your nipples hard making you buck against him.
“I’m being sweet now, aren’t I?” he grunts, sliding his fat cock into your pussy making you squeal from the stretch.
He’s so much bigger than you remember, making your back bow, head tipped back and mouth open, panting while he bullies his dick deeper and deeper into your pussy until he’s bottoming out.
He shushes you as you sink down on his dick with a low cry, “Such a good girl for me. Damn, missed this tight little pussy.”
You shove your breasts into his face making him growl, hands tightening on your hips, sinking you fully down on his cock. Leon’s mouth hotly kisses across your tits, sucking bruises into the sensitive skin. Groaning, he suckles your nipples eagerly until you’re bouncing on his dick.
You let your hands sink into his soft hair, rocking your hips down hard onto his lap. Mewling, you tug on the silky strands as Leon’s tongue laps across your swollen nipples making you squirm. His hands move up to your waist as he humps your hot wet pussy, burying his cock deep in your throbbing cunt.
Feeling over sensitive, you try to pull his head away from your chest but he only groans, suckling your hard bud deeper into his mouth. His cock kicks and throbs as you slump forward, smooshing your tits into his face.
“Leon, they’re g’nna be so sore,” you gasp as he nips at the swell of your breasts before pulling away.
“But you like it, squeezing down on me so tight,” he grins, shaking the hair from his face as he tilts his head up, “now kiss me, sweetheart.”
You whine in the back of your throat and drop your mouth down on his. You feel as Leon scrapes his teeth against your bottom lip. He moans, licking into your mouth, tongue running along yours teasingly.
He tugs you closer and closer, the kisses becoming more sloppy with spit dripping past your swollen lips. He chuckles when your fingers drop from his hair to cup the back of his head, pulling him forward til there’s no space between you.
Pulling away for a breath, Leon just tugs you back in for another messy kiss, his hot tongue licking into you again and again.
“Been driving me up the wall, wanted to talk to you so bad,” he lets his head fall back to rest against the headboard as you grind dirtily against him, “had the best sex of my life and when I came back you pretended I didn’t even exist, honey.”
“‘m sorry, sir,” you whimper, eyes fluttering as his cock grinds just right against the spongy spot at the front of your pussy, “just got into my own head.”
“S’okay,” he coos up at you, letting one of his hands drop down and tease your swollen clit, “just gonna let this sweet pussy milk a nice thick load outta me.”
“Yeah, yeah, gonna milk your cock so good,” you slur, arching your back so your breasts brush against his mouth.
He snarls and bites at your soft tits, “That’s it, squeeze my cock.”
You whine, body jerking as he pinches and rubs your pudgy clit, sucking each of your nipples between his teeth to run his tongue across them. The coil in your belly’s winding tighter and tighter as Leon teases your nipples and clit at the same time.
“Oh,” you gasp out, “g’nna cum, Leon—“
A low cry spills from your mouth as you clamp down on Leon’s dick, pussy walls fluttering and milking his throbbing cock as he fucks you through your orgasm.
“So sexy,” Leon’s hips thrust up into your squelching pussy, “so fucking sexy. Gonna make me cum, baby. Y’ready?”
“Yes, yes, please,” you moan, digging your nails into his chest making him curse under his breath and bury his cock into your sopping wet hole.
You feel rope after rope of hot, sticky cum spurt inside your cunt, stuffing you so full that it leaks out around his throbbing cock.
“Beautiful,” he places open mouthed kisses across your clavicle up to your neck, letting his tongue tease across your skin, “such a good girl for me.”
You sigh, feeling blissed out and utterly satisfied. He tugs your head down to kiss you softly at the corner of your mouth.
“If you want, just relax and I’ll bring a cloth in to clean you up.”
You smile at him sleepily, “Wanna snuggle.”
He returns your sleepy smile with a small one of his own, “You got it, sweetheart.”

hey, you said your inbox is open and I was curious if you have any ideas for someone who can't get involved irl in things like protests and local antifa groups (physically disabled and incapacitatingly severe anxiety), and who can't get involved in online activism beyond reblogging stuff (personal reasons, difficult to explain)?
I've been considering trying to put together care packages for local unhoused people, but I'm poor and I'd have to convince someone to help me put everything together so idk how well that will go.
I don't want to sit around doing nothing.
Hey anon! I am very glad you reached out, and this is a question I get asked a lot by people IRL, so you are very much not alone here.
I think the first order of business is expanding your definition of activism. We have been done a great disservice by having activism framed for us as protests, charity, & singular heroes making speeches and changing hearts through celebrity. In reality, the smaller actions in your community have a much greater impact; and most of all, the things you personally have to offer make the greatest impact.
This diagram is specifically geared towards climate action, but really applies to all activism:
For you to be an effective activist/volunteer/community member, it's crucial to find the centre of that diagram, or else you're on a one-way ticket to burnout. Don't get caught up in trying to judge which is the most "important" activism, because that answer will be different for everyone. The most important thing you can do for the world is the thing you can do.
I've done lots of volunteering and volunteer management in multiple fields, and there really is lots of choice out there for things that suit you; anything from sorting files quietly in a back room to using computer knowledge (often VERY absent in community groups lol) to help with maintaining websites & promoting community events. One of my personal favourite volunteer shifts was acting as a helper to the organizers of a queer electronic music festival, running a "build your own synthesizer" workshop. Literally I was just ticking off names on a registration sheet and doing setup and fetching things, but it was one of the coolest things I've had the joy to be involved in.
The other plus here is that activists in a given city all usually have some social overlap. If you email, say, your local community centre, explain your interests & circumstances & skills, and ask what you could do - they might not have anything right that moment, but likely someone there will know a different group that needs something similar, or they'll have ideas for who you could try next. Even if you're not finding a lot online right away, have faith in the (slightly haphazard) offline community org social scene. Same deal if you get involved with something and realize it's not your thing after all - just be honest, and ask for help in finding something more suited to you. It's so, so common, and no one's going to get angry with you for wanting to help in ways you're better suited for.
Don't mistake me when I nudge you towards volunteering - there's a certain way that well-meaning (usually) liberals treat volunteering, like they're 'donating' their time as charity, and I am not advocating for that. I'm just saying that you really don't have to reinvent the wheel. There are structures in place run by people who know well how to do it. Part of the importance is the work itself; the file-sorting, the computer help, whatever. But another part is building connections with the people around you, and also letting those people benefit from the privilege of knowing you. And that will happen naturally over time. The muscle will grow as you use it more, even if you need to start with something that feels to you like it might not be enormously significant in the grand scheme of things. Maybe you move on to 'bigger' things, or maybe you gain new perspective and realize just how significant your contributions are after all.
#I hope this was helpful anon! Good for you for wanting to get involved in something#organizing#community organizing#activism#asks#elly talks politics
