One of the things I love about Style is that he's always dropping truth bombs. However, they often get overlooked due to his dramatic nature. You have to look for them even though the truth is out in the open for everyone to see. This line...

It's not Style being dramatic. It's not just that he misses Fadel. This waiting is actually a big problem for him, because he's been here before. And it didn't end well.

Cancer isn't pretty. Style knows this feeling of wondering if his loved one was going to live or die and not being able to do a damn thing about it. He does not like that feeling.

At his core, Style is a man of action. He races cars. He jumps into the fight outside of the club. He grabs the gun in the bowling alley. He offers himself as a distraction in a gunfight. He walks into the freaking ocean to win an argument. He has shown time and time again that he is not a man that just "waits" if there's something to be done. It's not in his nature. So being asked to do nothing and just wait? That really does hurt.

How on Earth does Sebastian Solace swim???

Spoiler Alert: he doesn’t…. At least not well, hear me out

Okay so I was playing pressure with my friends the other night and randomly I brought up the fact that I was very confused on how Sebastian would actually swim. He’s a mix of a lot of animals but the two animals that manifest most in his tail anatomy is sea snake and blue whale.

His tail is very long and, based on how he sits, moves similarly to a sea snake. However he has the tail fluke of a blue whale, which means in order for that to help propel him through the water, he’d have to move his tail like a whale.

It’s possible he does use vertical motion to move through the water, but due to the sheer length of his tail, it seems unlikely. That motion would probably be very awkward for a tail of that length. Whales are not really long for their size, their tail portion is actually quite short and majority of their movement comes from the end of the tail, closer to the flukes. The rest of their spines stay mostly rigid and straight (not fully but, there’s much less movement in the upper body)

This works well for whales, but in Sebastian’s case, his spine is not very rigid or straight, likely making a vertical movement harder for him, taking more effort to move.

We also have to take into account that he moves quite fast on land, as stated in his file, he is quick despite his size.

He quite obviously can’t use a vertical spinal movement on land, he has no legs, meaning it’s likely much more natural for him to move laterally (also considering he is mixed with more animals with a lateral movement, sea snake, shark, angler fish, etc).

Now I’m not well versed in physics, so feel free to correct me, but if he’s moving laterally in the water, his large tail fluke would likely cause a lot of drag in the water, slowly him down significantly when swimming.

Okay so why should I care? What does this yap session even mean??

My interest in this was piqued when my friend said to me that this was likely done on purpose to make it harder for him to actually swim.

His experiment was to give him gills, not to advance his swimming capabilities. In fact, creating a giant mutant creature, who you believe is a criminal who killed 9 people, you probably don’t want to give him a huge advantage in the water, you know, what you’re surrounded by. He probably can swim, of course he can, his job was underwater maintenance, he’s still many many aquatic animals. He can swim. But he was purposefully tweaked to be an awkward swimmer to keep a tight leash on him. Either that or because Urbanshade is shitty and they just find it entertaining or see it as a cruel joke…

Not only does this effect his swimming, but having a humanoid torso and a snake tail, it’s not entirely out of the question that he may suffer from spinal issues due to the structure of his spine. But I’m no biologist, I could just be talking out my ass.

Anywaaayyy, that’s all I have for you guys. What do you think? Does it make sense? Am I thinking too deeply about this. I haven’t seen anyone talk about this but I think it could be a sad reality for him. My poor beautiful abomination of an experiment… I love him.

So, I've been feeling kind of ambitious and wanna try my hand at a pretty big render. Problem is, it's gonna require a hefty amount of sims and I already know I'll get pretty overwhelmed trying to make them all on my own. But that's where you guys come in!

If you'd like, you can be a part of this little project of mine by sending me sims (specifically their .dae files. Tutorial on how to use ts4ripper and rip sims here)

You can also feel free to share them outside of just sending me daes of course or keep their existence just between us. They are your sims after all. Do what you will with them.

Are there any requirements?

Not really! They can be whatever gender and dress however. The only thing I ask is that they be human only because occults aren't really a thing in this universe

Is there a limit to how many sims you can send me?

Nope! The more the merrier! Just please organize their separate files accordingly to make things easier for me!

Hair Preferences?

I do tend to lean more towards Alpha hairstyles, but if you're married to MM, that's fine. Also, just a warning, for some reason my computer just doesn't like dealing with Zao's hairs when I'm using Cycles and fucks them up a little, so that's just a heads up

Finally, this render is largely going to depend on audience participation, meaning that if I don't get a lot of sims, it's most likely that this render isn't going to happen. No pressure though! Just thought this would be a fun thing to try and do

My brain always feels like it's either got 50 million thoughts running through it, or it feels like it's got nothing at all going on? That's how my brain feels most of the time. I either have way too many thoughts, or I have none at all. I swear that's my experience. It's probably why I struggle to fall asleep at night. I'd bet it's also why I get stressed so often. When your brain only seems to have two modes (overactive or barely active), well...It's why i panic and stress so often. It's probably also why I sometimes can't focus at all and end up tired. It's not really that I like having this happen, but i'm moreso just used to it (after consistent experience with it all).

I know I keep saying this in most of my original posts, but looking back on my childhood I just see so many kin things.

There was a time I believed wholeheartedly I was a mermaid, and it lingers now even if it isnt as present

There was a time I believed I was a vampire, and just like with the mermaid one the belief is still there, but less

I would always (and still do but now it's for kin reasons) call dibs on playing Micheal in any fnaf roleplay my friends and I did after SL came out (and honestly, even after fnaf 4 came out)

I always liked Hades more than Hercules in the Disney movie, partially because of inaccuracies in the movie and partially because I kinda got gender envy from him before I even knew what that was, and now I'm questioning if I'm an Idia fictionkin (Idia is based on Disney Hades for those who don't know Twisted Wonderland)

I always saw some of myself in Dipper, and now I'm questioning if I kin him too.

There's definitely more examples, but a lot of them if not all, line up to weird childhood experiences I've had. But some of them I feel like I don't really know if I'm actually a kin of or if I'm, just looking too deep into it.

one random deep thought lead to another, and im just thinking of what each character in lockwood and co taught us:

Holly: sometimes you have to put up with bitches (lucy), just know that they probably have a lot of things going through their heads, and they just arent matured yet. they will know later, and they'll regret their actions. also misunderstandings happen all the time and ughhh it sucks

Skull: no one is truly evil. good can come from the most unexpected places. (also, be funny. it makes life more livable)

Quill Kipps: I cant believe I didnt add him in: LOOK AT HIS CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT. He's certainly gone through a lot — losing ppl in his life, losing himself. At some point in time I hc that he abused alcohol. He's a depressed boy who's lost so much and has no one around him left. Then he's faith is renewed again when he joined lw and co, you can see this through his excitement over the pair of goggles and also people who care about him again — it's almost like he's been granted a new chance at life. So, lesson? No matter your situation, it is okay to experience ups and downs. Sometimes your downs are so low, but don't ever lose faith. It's okay to lose yourself, it's okay to grief, but know that there's always some hope left if you look out for opportunities instead of lying in the shadows.

Symbols Abound in Futtara Doshaburi

Overthinking things is my bread and butter, and this show is a feast. There's something to be said in that both Kaori and Fujisawa have touched and cared for Sei's feet at this point.

Feet are an interesting symbol. In many cultures, feet are considered dirty. To care for someone's feet is considered a sign of hospitality, respect, and even caregiving.

But even if feet are the "lowest" body part, they play an essential role. Feet take you where you want to go. For now, the feet are coming home.

We take our toenails for granted, until they get broken. And then it's incredibly painful.

For a long time, Sei was ok in this relationship. But now he's not. The relationship is broken. But just like his toenail, his plan had been to just accept it and keep on walking. It's painful, but he'll deal.

But Hagiwara won't let Sei ignore it. He keeps asking personal questions. He questions Sei about his relationship. He questions Sei about his foot. He's forcing Sei to pay attention to and deal with the broken toenail. Hagiwara openly admits (to Sei) that he wants more from his own relationship. He verbalizes his incredulity at Sei's situation.

He openly states that Sei's situation is unlikely to change.

Hagiwara doesn't let Sei brush it aside. He keeps asking questions, telling Sei that it'll hurt him more if he lets it go, and pushing Sei to take action.

And now we have both Kaori and Fujisawa paying attention to, touching, and washing Sei's foot. Foot washing carries a lot of symbolism - of respect, of care, of sacrifice. All of the things that Fujisawa used to provide for Sei. But Sei got that help from someone else this time. He's no longer needing Fujisawa to care for him.

Kaori notices that Sei is pain. She's working on repairing the nail, but Sei still thinks she's cruel.

Yes, he's thinking about Hagiwara. But it parallels his relationship as well. Fujisawa KNOWS Sei is in pain. He KNOWS Sei is unhappy.

It's why Fujisawa keeps changing the conversation. It's why he buys the TV. He's trying to keep the nail/relationship from breaking further.

There's something to be said in that while Kaori is repairing the nail, she's also disinfecting it. The disinfectant gets mentioned by both Kaori and Fujisawa.

With all of the "libido is a swamp" references, it's not too far-fetched to read into this act. While Kaori and Fujisawa both care for their partners, they're both sanitizing their relationships. It stings.

But Sei doesn't want or need to be sanitized. His desires are beautiful.

Which brings our current conflict in full view. The characters don't just want different things out of their relationships, they need different things. And everyone knows it.

Which makes me wonder about Fujisawa's comment to Sei to "not even think about meeting up" with the mystery penpal.

Is it jealousy? An argument could be made.

Is it possessiveness? A need to control Sei? There's a lot of evidence for that too.

Or is it that Fujisawa is also feeling the pain of this broken nail? That's he's worried just like Sei about what will happen if he pushes on it.

If it's no longer painful, what does that mean?

After all, he knows why Sei fell in love with him.

He knows that Sei no longer needs a spokesperson.

He knows that what Sei needs now, he can't give.

And he knows Sei.

So is Fujisawa trying to control Sei? Or is he terrified of what this all means? Knowing full well what would happen to his life and relationship if someone else started meeting Sei's needs.

It's not an unwarranted fear. The feet are now moving away from home.

Naturally, it lead to more questions.

does he have to be a girl for over a month? is the monthly timer put on pause whenever he's a guy? or just he just not get any at all due to having too much testosterone. (I would assume even though he transforms there would still be high counts of testosterone)

Overthinking

Sometimes, I wish my brain had an off switch. Or at least a mute button. Because the way I can take a simple thought and turn it into a full-blown existential crisis? Honestly, it’s impressive.

Like, I’ll say “thanks” instead of “thank you” in a text and suddenly I’m convinced I sound passive-aggressive. Or I’ll replay a random conversation from years ago and decide that, actually, I definitely embarrassed myself, even if no one remembers it but me.

And don’t even get me started on decision-making. Do I send the text now or wait? Do I say “hi” first or act like I don’t care? Do I post this blog or will I wake up at 3 AM cringing at myself? (obviously lol)

But at the end of the day, I guess overthinking is just proof that I care—about my words, my actions, the people around me. And maybe, just maybe, that’s not such a bad thing.

Ok this a very dark idea that involves infants death and human experimentation.

Ok it kinda goes in hand with some random headcanons and random comic book lore.

So the gist is she comes back to life and wants her Revenge against the man she once loved. So she sets herself to learn all the knowledge she can already being well versed in pagan myth was easy to use magic to speed up her abilities of several lifetimes of knowledge and skills. Which leads down a dark twist path of human extermination.

What better way to destroy Essex then by creating a powerful being of both science and magic to kill him. Her experiments fail time and time again. Using various adults she tried to alter for her purpose. So she use divination to seek what she needs and her only Answer is Le Diable Blanc. Curious she eventually stumbles upon the knowledge of the old kingdom what she was able to find aided her research. Along with a phropchy of Le Diable Blanc one of many and she believes that he is the key to her revenge. So using the old kingdom Artifacts she found like a tracker for him.

Fast forward to 1891 she bumps into a time traveling Remy and the artifact she has reacts to him. But something about him is familiar. Some of his features look like they could be from her but some not so much she doesn’t understand but is unable to confirm anything because he leaves just as fast he comes. Only thing she knows is his Name Remy LeBeau.

Couple decades later she is working as nurse in a New Orleans hospital. Collecting samples and dying patients that no one will miss. It’s sometime in the 1940s and she has helped delivered a baby for the LeBeau family. Official story the husband Jean-Luc is away at war. She delivers his so a beautiful little boy with fiery red hair like the mother and Red on black eyes.

Rebeca receives a vision on what she must do now to create the tool of her revenge. Using magic she keeps the baby in a permanent state of infancy and join the black womb project in disguise. Where she works closely with Essex eventually manipulating him into impregnating her with another child. Who just so happens to have Red on Black eyes as well. Both the Essex and LeBeau children are subjected to cruel experiments. Sinister doesn’t realize that it’s Rebeca until after the project is shut down and begins to hunt her down wondering who dare clone his late wife to spite him. Not knowing the truth. Wondering if the man he met in 1891 was his son or grandson fueling his obsession. Rebeca cast the spell and makes the baby frozen in time like the other. And waits a bit until she goes after two other bloodlines of Sinister’s obsession. The Summers family and Grey family who by coincidence or maybe some strings of fate being tugged go on a honey moon in New Orleans. Where they both end up at a New Orleans Hospital giving birth prematurely children. Sons with Red on Black eyes. Fate showing Rebeca that she has her last components the couples are lied to saying the babies were born to early and didn’t make it and are given false remains. It will take Rebeca another couple of years of preparation and experimenting on the permanent infants until using both science and sorcery sacrifices the children. Which fuses them into an egg like pearl. Which she then devours becoming pregnant again with none other then one and only Remy LeBeau. She uses various rituals during her pregnancy to make the baby stronger and births him in a certain hospital. That just so happens to be own and run by the very woman whose child she stole all those years ago only for the same thing to happen to her when the Thieves guild comes and kidnaps her room of Revenge right under her nose and before Sinister could come claim the child for his own putting a hitch in both their plans for Baby Remy.
