(Conchita) Wurst: 'I'm sorry I'm a walking cliché'.
Above all we know Conchita Wurst as the bearded 'female 'singer who won the ESC in 2014. But we've moved on and are a bit wiser. It´s just Wurst now, but the beard is still there.
With light feathered steps, Thomas Neuwirth (31) enters the conference room of the hotel in Groningen where he is staying: black combat boots, black leather pants, tight black T-shirt, the black beard and the perfect short trimmed jet black hair..
He introduces himself as Tom. It's not difficult to recognise the bearded drag queen Conchita in him. (Kopenhagen, 2014, remember?) but the dress and wig are stowed away for a while. Conchita has a sort of sabbatical, so to speak.
Neuwirth is on tour as a man. Stage name: Wurst. Yesterday evening he performed in Groningen; the next concert will be 7 february at the Melkweg in Amsterdam. His new album 'Truth over Magnitude' also carries the artist´s name Wurst.
Let's get this straight: when the subject is Conchita Wurst, the word 'transgender' sometimes comes a long. Wrongly. Neuwirth is a man, ('but incredibly gay, of course'), who has a choice from now on: being on tour as a drag queen (Conchita) or as a man (Wurst) .
´a lot of fun, being a masculine stage persona', he says. Conchita will turn up again somewhere else.
Holland appreciated Conchita's 'Rise like a Phoenix' with the highest score, almost 6 years ago.
Neuwirth didn't forget: twelve points, douze points from Holland for the bearded diva from Austria.
Then hectic years followed. 'After the Song Contest I thought, I have to make the most of it now, build my fame and cash it in. So I surrounded myself with all kinds of experts, managers, stylists, make/up artists, the whole circus. After 3 years I was exhausted. I couldn´t do it anymore. I told my audience every nigh, be yourself, believe in yourself. But along the way, I forgot myself.´
He got rid of the experts’ circus and is having a relaxed tour now, with a small entourage. He feels good again, although in 2018 he had to announce he is infected with the HIV virus. His manager politely asks, almost in an humble manner, not to talk about that.
Tom doesn´t appear to be very worried about that. There has seldom been a star who starts an interview so cheerfully. ´A great photo shoot and after that talk about things I find beautiful and fun.
Terrific, I was already looking forward to it when I came out of bed.´

SOUNDTRACK
Music from the Motion Picture Titanic ...1997
´My first CD. I was 9 years old when I bought it. `My heart will go on´’changed my life´. As it were, Céline Dion gave me permission to be utterly dramatic and to be over the top. When I came out of the closet, I heard that song in my head.
It was also a liberation for me as a singer. My mom always sang with a thin, high falsetto voice. I thought that was how it should be. Dion taught me, you may yell as hard as you can, with all the power you have in you. When you sing so loud, you can’t fake it. The sound you push out of your body, is the sound of your body, unique and by definition authentic. Céline Dion taught me that singing is something really physical.´
SERIES
The Crown ..Netflix..., 2016 until 2019
´For me it´s getting difficult to watch a movie to the end. I guess that´s because of all the series on Netflix and HBO. My favorite is `The Crown´.. ´the intro alone is so beautiful, that liquid gold that forms a crown, such art. I used to watch it twice. Ít says something about the fact that I can´t choose between the two women who play Elizabeth and the two men who play prince Philip. All the actors are great. The costumes, the stories, the palaces, it´s so delightful. The history also intrigues me, after every episode I checked on Wikipedia if it was really what had happened.
PARTIES
´At Christmas I always come back to Vienna. I love the lights, glitters and decorations, my inner Mariah Carey is looking forward to it every year. Christmas 2019 was extra special because it had been a long time since the whole family came together at my grandmother´s house.´
I would love it to be like that every year... A couple of days being together in one home. Talking, getting to really know my family. Maybe now you think, days on and on with uncles and aunts, such horror! It is easy to say that I don´t really have much in common with these people. But I do, Really. They all have a story and similarities with your stories. Ask them about your life and tell them about yours.´
That´s what Christmas is all about to me. To me, the birth of Jesus has not that much to do with it.´
ISLAND..
I have an agreement with my best friends to go on vacation at least once every two years. We have been to Mykonos a couple of times, THE especially gay island. I´m sorry I sound like a walking cliché.´
The sun, the sea, the beaches, the small streets, so cosy. We rent a house with a pool and for a week or two we live in our own little paradise, actually being a bit tipsy the whole time. Go shopping and cook.´
`What´s also very important, on Mykomos, the wind is always blowing the right way. I love to watch the women, because their dresses and their hair flutter so beautifully.´
STYLE ICON
Victoria Beckham
I was and still am a big Spice Girls fan and I especially admire Victoria Beckham, because she lives her life the way she wants. She appears in tabloids every day, but has survived a crisis in her relationship and has stayed happy with the love of her life and her family. I think that it´s really strong.´
In regard to her style, she can go from very classy to very trashy, I like that. One day she´s wearing a designer dress, the next she and David Beckham are walking in identical jogging suits. She couldn’t care less. I think that it´s inspiring.´
´I think she is utterly authentic, raging through the glamour. Although I have never met her, I´m sure that I could have a lot of fun with her. I´d love to drink some tequila with her for an afternoon or so.´
AGE
30
´I thought becoming 30 was really special, I lost my wild behaviour, came to be more restful. Some way or another I think a lot about some things my mother said: in my twenties, I ignored those lessons, but now I´m 30, I suddenly realised she was right for example how important family and friends are.
I´m 31 now, I have inner peace and my life in order, but I still feel young. I´m convinced that this the best period of my life´. My advise to everybody... be 30.´
ALBUM
Recomposed by Max Richter / The Four Seasons ..2012
I don´t play any instruments and until not too long ago, I didn´t really know much about music. I really found that a pity sometimes. Fortunately, my good friend Martin studies at the School of Musical Arts... !! He´s studying the history of music intensely and tells me about a lot of great composers. I learn a lot from that.´´I never understood classical music and didn´t really know anything about it, but thanks to the listening sessions with Martin I fell in love with Vivaldi..
The pop artist of the classical artists.
´Max Richter interpreted Vivaldi´s Four Seasons and composed it in a modern fashion. It´s a modern, post minimalistic piece, completely different from the original one, but you still recognise it. Greatly done, at the moment it´s my favorite album.´
BOOK
Friedrich Schiller « Ueber die aesthetische Erziehung des Menschen ». About the aesthetic upbringing of the people..´
´A good friend advised me to read the philosophical letters from Friedrich Schiller ..Letters, 1794-1795)
That´s a hard job to do. Because of the old fashioned German I had to read some sentences 5 times. You always have to wrestle yourself through a thick layer of 18th century sexism.
´But further on you´ll find something beautiful. Schiller writes a lot about finding your inner beauty and your own truth. Dare to be yourself. Embrace your darker sides. Those are important as well.´
´At the same time he preaches self-perspective.. don´t take yourself too seriously, you´re not the center of the universe. That is very worthy to me. Namely because I DO think I´m the center of the universe, haha.
`Still it´s very wise of him, to send a message from 1795 to a 21st century queen with a Mariah Carey complex.´
CLUB
Circus in Vienna
´The Arena is a huge complex in Vienna, a concert building with a mega discotheque. A couple of times a year they organize Circus, my favorite gay club night. I always go there with my group of closest friends, but it´s actually a bit of a rule that we lose each other and disappear into the crowd.´
´I roam around all night- Every room, every floor has its own musical theme and decoration. I love the types of people I meet there, their clothes, their fetishisms, everything.´
….Arena Vienna, Baumgasse 80, Vienna
CITY
Amsterdam
´I live in Vienna, I love Vienna and I will always come back there, but the greatest city I´ve been to is Amsterdam – since then I traveled all over the world so I know what I´m talking about.
´Of all the cities I visited, Amsterdam is the only one where I would want to live a period of time. So that´s what I´m gonna do, this summer, for a few months to begin with.´
´I can see that Amsterdam also has the flagship stores from all known store chains. And a lot of tourists, like every special city. But I see all these small jewelry shops where they sell their self-made jewelry. Little bakeries. Cosy streets. And a lot of water. I love water. I love cities with lots of water.´

Remus
oversized sweaters and button downs all day everyday
ink stained hands
collects old books - Most have torn pages and faded ink from constant rereading.
has too many half written stories all featuring the same characters he’s overly attached to (an: oh shit its actually me)
somehow always carries chocolate or knows the nearest place he can get some. works in a book store (an: I just love this au too much ik its cliché as hell)
WELSH ACCENT
can and will fall asleep anywhere
all his clothes have rips in them or are extremely worn - not on purpose like Padfoot however (’MOONY ITS PUNK ROCK SHUT UP AND GIMME THE SCISSORS’)
enjoys the rain a lot - lucky they stay in Scotland then
Amber eyes and golden hair that lightly curls with his love of the rain (James gets jealous bc hes the ‘curly haired friend’)
always carries a notebook, of which he has wayyyyy too many
knows too many constellations which he doodles in all of his notebooks and always keeps track of the moon phases, hence the nickname
his sleep schedule is beyond screwed - probably caused by “ nope I cant sleep without reading Pads,” and then getting completely transfixed by a fictional world
always sketching people around him, he could happily sit in a café all day and draw everyone there, maybe he has an entire notebook of Padfoot sketches, maybe he does not, who knows
can’t function without coffee
very trustworthy of his friends almost too trusting, but can barely talk to a person outside of their group
almost too pale, couldn’t tan if he tried all that the sun does is give him a light dusting of freckles and chases away his beloved rain
loves living in the attic of their huge shared home (curtesy of James’ insanely large inheritance and Sirius’ uncle Alphaard) it has wooden walls and an obscene amount of plants, his favourite part is a large window on the ceiling that he enjoys climbing out especially when its drizzling when the others join him
usually the subject of Padfoot’s (favourite) polaroids
probably the only guy there that thinks of the consequences of a situation before they become a reality
the responsible one
can read & write music
pianist
Lily & Peter read all of his stories - annoyed they aren’t finished loves animals, still pretends to be annoyed when James brings home stray dogs
gets sick constantly and secretly finds it hilarious when Sirius freaks out and acts like his nurse
Sirius
constantly painting, drawing and creating awesome art pieces
photography nerd - has a huge collection of polaroids & pinholes in his ‘dark room’ (a cupboard under the stairs that has a red light)
owns a motorbike that he is constantly repairing and is attempting to convince
James to get one too “prongs we’ll look awesome c’mon do it or the aesthetic” James can’t ride a damn bicycle
always stealing Remus’ sweaters, even thought they are all about 10 sizes too big
has at least 15 leather jackets.(Wears one bc Moony got him patches for it years ago)
Long black hair that is always falling into tired grey eyes - Walburga has threatened to chop it off too many times
works in an art gallery, occasionally slips in his own work (the manager knows but she loves his work)
angsty as hell
always listening to music - preferably on vinyls  “I don’t care how expensive it is Wormtail, it sounds far better (also it’s not my credit card its my cousin Bellatrix’s so???)
Smoker (probably for the aesthetic tbh) “yeah right Moons it makes me punk rock as shit,”
wears his biker boots all day everyday
plays guitar (secretly acoustic is his favourite)
all his clothes are ripped as heck
very very protective of his friends, has given out and received his fair share of black eyes for this “its for a noble cause also it makes me look pun-”        “ Padfoot for god sake we get it you’re punk rock!”
terrible at showing negative emotions but has learned to when it comes to Prongs and Moony - he’s getting there with some of the others
obsessive in his love for dogs and is genuinely offended when Lily gets a cat, the day he found out  James bought it the word ‘betrayal’ is genuinely used, even more offended when Regulus began playing with the cats “ Sirius I’m named after a star in the LEO constellation???”
such a drama queen (speaking of Queen imagine him & Bohemian Rhapsody?)
tries to hide his aristocratic background, though his mannerisms show it off quite often
fluent in French he has a slight French accent
Lives on Tumblr (surprisingly this was never meant on this site) & Netflix
also memorises the moon phases ( just to impress Remus honestly)
makes awful puns constantly “I’m serious”       “nah I’m Sirius you’re James”         “ugh are you fucking serious”         “nah I’m fucking Moony” *atrocious wink*
ripped skinny jeans - Wormtail still calls him emo for it
James
super athletic
Loves photography claims to use the best equipment but still constantly invades Sirius’ excuse for a dark room
plays drums
somehow the only one who can cheer up Regulus instantly
only has 1 pair of glasses even though he is horrendously clumsy, Lily is assuming he is just seeing how much tape he can build up before they are entirely useless
obsessed over football - he manages a small team that he is way too enthusiastic about
still surprised Lily even talks to him “James we’ve been dating for 5 years stop being a prat”
plans out the biggest pranks and somehow manages to get everyone involved, if he doesn’t they turn to shit but that’s a ‘secret’ everybody knows only shoes he actually ones are trainers & football boots “James you are not wearing Nikes to Alice and Franks bloody wedding!”
really competitive
obsessively plays Xbox and has weekly gaming nights with everyone (Sirius always rage quits) Wormtail is the only one who is still playing with him after 30 minutes
goes on tones of unplanned road trips with Lily
tries a weird new diet practically every week, sort of a health freak
way too much house pride - his whole room is decorated red and gold
has an old pickup truck he prides too much even though he is almost needing to fix it as much as Sirius and his ancient motorbike
the ‘mom friend’ always looking after everyone
Peter
actually the only reason they don’t all eat fast food & take aways 24/7 - he’s a great cook
proof reads all of Remus’ stories for him before they get posted
works as a barista in a grunge as hell café across the road - the others always hang out there when he’s working
secretly enjoys the challenge of James’ strange dieting (gluten free+ vegan month was definitely a challenge though)
owns 2 pet rats - is scared shitless that Regulus’ pet snake is going to eat them at one point
really good at giving gifts because he’s great at listening to people has a massive collection of hoodies for no apparent reason
always third wheeling because of Wolfstar and Jily, it’s better now that Regulus has move in though
really good at video games - occasionally lets James win because he gets too moody otherwise
bassist
only listens to indie & grunge music - secretly loves Sirius’ obsession with vinyls
Lily
not super feminine but always has the latest fashion trends - usually fairly alternative (known to sport the jeans + fishnets thing that looks bomb as hell)
reads almost as much as Remus and is always hanging out in the book shop he works at
really enjoys playing football with James - finds it hilarious when he gets competitive
super long ginger hair + green eyes
loves tattoos, has handpoked a few of her own (mainly gets them done professionally, her friend Marlene is a tattoo artist) & Sirius let her do a moon on his wrist

super spontaneous really enjoys the constant unplanned road trips
does a lot of digital art, usually draws characters from books most often the characters Remus will never let go of in his stories
can ride a motorbike and occasionally takes Sirius’ for a spin
just a badass tbh
everyone takes their problems to her because she somehow has a solution for everything
wants to get into interior design and when they move in she helps everyone decorate their rooms, constantly adding to their home paints a different wall every week
literally friends with everyone - nobody dislikes her and probably couldn’t if they tried
has a weird skill for knitting, likely the source of 90% of Remus’ holy sweaters
obsessed with ‘retro’ things, favourite things tend to be from the 80s/90s
always helping Wormtail when he is baking, as long as she gets the first taste

All’s Fair In Love & War {1}
Tumblr media
A/N: natty’s back at it again with the “i am trash for kim donghan” fics~~~ So yeah, a chaptered fic for the rudest yet cutest boy ik. Also tagging @smols-n-tols bc they heard this idea from me first!
Pairing: JBJ’s Kim Donghan x Reader
Genre: Angst, fratboy!donghan, more things to come~
Word Count: Roughly 2k
Parts: 1 / 2
An A on your paper. A stupid bet spurred by anger. And an especially annoying frat boy who goes by the name of Kim Donghan. Who knew such things would lead you to such a mess?
College was always something you had thought about growing up. Ever since your sophomore year of high school you knew you wanted to travel around the world while writing, so when you got the acceptance letter from Lawrence Sarah College in the mail, you were ecstatic. However, your parents were less than thrilled. “How can you go to an all girls’ college? How are you going to get a normal college experience surround by all girls?” your mom asked, concerned, over dinner one night.
“If I wish to graduate college with honors and a journalism major with a minor in linguistics, work for some of the top newspapers in the country, and then build up my resume to be able to go freelance by the age of 28, I can’t afford to have a ‘normal’ college experience,” you replied matter-of-factly, not even looking up from you dinner plate.
“College isn’t just about getting a degree, kiddo,” your dad asked, “It’s about finding who you are, what you want to be. Plus, can’t you just go to the State University? They have a strong journalism program, right?”
“Dad, I already know who I am and what I want to be, and going to Lawrence Sarah is going to help me with that. Plus, in the journalism world, a degree from Lawrence Sarah carries way much more weight than State.”
Your parents shared worried glances. “Whatever, you say, kiddo. We’ll trust you to make the decision that’s best for you.”
That was two years ago. You were now a sophomore at Lawrence Sarah, and you were thriving. The intensive coursework kept you on your toes and away from distractions such as socials and parties. You stayed within your dorm room or the library constantly studying and constantly writing; that’s how you were able to maintain your spotless GPA for the past two years.
“Prof, can I talk to you about our paper?” you asked one day after class.
“Of course, Y/N, go ahead,” he said, looking up from his desk.
“I just wanted to run a couple ideas by you for the article we’re expected to write, since it is 80% of our grade,” you said, eyeing your professor nervously. Once he motioned for you to continue, you began to speak. “I was thinking of doing more research into the negative effect of-”
“No,” your professor clipped, returning his attention back to the papers on his desk.
“Well, what about the systematic-”
“No.”
“And why not?”
He looked up at you through his glasses. “Y/N, you’re an extremely bright student, but as of now, all of your topics don’t pertain to you.”
“What do you mean? These are things I feel very strongly-”
“You can feel as strongly as you want, but through this paper, I want to learn something about you as a person too, Y/N. Be informative, be personable, be something different. Because, Y/N, I know you can write well about the negative effects of enforced gender roles and expectations on children. I know you can write well about the growing population of people identifying as queer and what that means to them. But I want this article to be something about you. You’re a college student after all. There has to be something you can think of.”
“Well what about,” you paused, pondering over your lackluster knowledge of college life. Suddenly you remembered your friend mentioning something about the State University’s frat. “Well, what about I write an exposé on fraternity mentality and their influence on college life?” you offered, “I can interview a couple of the fraternities at State, and I can even talk to their school’s director on the influences of the Greek system, maybe even pull up a couple statistics?” you looked at your professor expectantly.
“And how does this pertain to you?”
“We’re right next door to State. A lot of my classmates are affected by the fraternities there, so it’d be good for me to write something to inform them of exactly what they’re getting into when the boys of Epsilon Beta come over to our campus to invite impressionable freshmen to their parties.”
He leaned back in his seat, and a pensive look overcame his features. “Hm, your perspective on the whole thing would add a nice twist,” he paused, “I guess, you’ll just have to write it and convince me it’s worthy.”
“A fraternity? You’re doing an exposé on a fraternity?” Yebin asked, choking on her lowfat yogurt. You crinkled your nose at her sparse lunch and took another bite into your burger.
“I blanked okay! He shot down all my other idea, so I kinda just blurted that one out,” your words thinned out at the end of your sentence.
“And how exactly are you going to get someone from a frat to agree to this? You’re exposing them for the purpose of an A. I see no benefits here.”
You shrugged, “I’ll just say it’s an article highlighting the positive effects of fraternities within a college community. The actual dirt I pull will be through my own observations at frat events and statistics I find.” You finished your burger and leaned forward in your seat. “Anyways, Yebin, can you get me into a frat party?” She almost sprayed mineral water over you.
“You? A frat party? Jesus Christ, Y/N, you’re seriously dedicated to this aren’t you?”
“It’s 80% of my grade, of course I’m dedicated.”
She roller her eyes at your reply. “Well,” she leaned in also, dropping her voice to a whisper, “I’m seeing this guy from Epsilon Beta, so I think I can get us into their next party.”
“Of course, how could I expect anything less from you,” you said jokingly, knowing extremely well your best friend’s reputation. “So, when’s the party?”
“Tomorrow.”
You leaned back into your chair in shock. “Tomorrow? It’s a Tuesday night! I have classes Wednesday.”
Yebin shrugged. “That’s just how Epsilon Beta works. You asked me to get you into a party, and that’s the one I can get you in.”
You groaned. “Fine, what do I wear?”
“Well, have anything that goes above your knees?”
You tugged at your skirt and the hem of your crop top uncomfortably. “It’s the middle of October. Why the hell am I wearing a crop top?” you asked, teeth chattering.
“Because you look hot, and if you want to get any frat boy’s attention, that’s the way to do it,” Yebin replied nonchalantly as the two of you walked up to the house. The bass was already reverberating through you, and the stench of mischief filled the air. You eyed the boy standing at the door warily as Yebin threw an arm around his shoulders and placed a kiss on his cheek. “Sanggyun, it’s so good to see you!” she squealed. He grimaced.
“Save your flirting for Taehyun. It’s bad enough he put me on door duty, now I have to deal with kiss-ups like you trying to get in.”
She rolled her eyes playfully. “You know full well Taehyun hates it when I squeal. He says it ruins the mood,” she said this with a pout. “Anyways, what did you do to earn such a duty?”
Sanggyun smiled proudly, “Well, Donghan and I got onto Taehyun’s laptop and uploaded this code that opened your last tab on full volume the next time you turned on your laptop, and well, it’s his own fault the last tab he had opened was a really bad porno. Really, no tact at all, everyone knows to use incognito mode for that shit.”
“And how’d he know it was you?” you piped up from behind Yebin.
Sanggyun’s eyes widened when he realized you were there, but he continued on with his story, “We’re the only two CS majors in the entire frat, so through process of elimination, he figured it was us.”
“Riveting,” Yebin deadpanned, “anyways, can you be a kind soul and let us into the party?”
Sanggyun eyed you carefully, “I guess it wouldn’t hurt anyone if I let your friend in. She’s not like, going to break shit right? Last time we let someone’s friend in, they caught Hyunbin’s mattress on fire.”
“I promise I’m not a pyromaniac,” you swore.
He shrugged, “Good enough for me. Enjoy the party, ladies.”
Yebin had long ditched you at this point for her current fling, so you found yourself alone, back pressed against the wall as you scrolled through your phone. You honestly had no clue on how to conduct yourself here. You were never fond of dancing or alcohol, so you were at  a complete loss as to how to approach any of the boys.
“What’s a pretty girl like you doing all alone?” someone asked. You looked up to find a boy towering over you. His black hair was tousled slightly, and his fitted white tee and tight black pants gave room for little imagination. He wore a smirk as he looked down at you, obviously confident with the idea of you throwing yourself at him instantly.
“Trying to avoid people like you,” you said icily.
“Hm, usually not the response I get, but you’re pretty cute, so I’ll let it slide. Name’s Donghan by the way,” he said. His back was now pressed against the wall; the two of you standing there side by side, watching the crowd.
“Well, I’m Y/N,” you replied.
“Hm, Y/N, I don’t think I’ve ever seen you around.”
“I’m from Lawrence Sarah.” You scooted a bit to the left, trying to create some distance between you two.
“Lawrence Sarah? The home of lesbians and sluts?” he asked, also scooting to the left.
“I’d prefer it if you didn’t call it that. It’s completely degrading to the girls attending the university.”
“Doesn’t mean I’m wrong. Look, one of the only other girl from Lawrence Sarah here is currently in one of the upstairs’ bedroom blowing our president,” he replied crassly.
Your ears felt hot. “Well, it’s still rude to only widdle her down to the word ‘slut.’ She’s extremely bright, and she’s on her way to being a member of the national women’s soccer team,” you huffed out. You crossed your arms tightly across your chest.
“Let me guess, she’s your best friend?” You gave the answer away once you turned away from him. “Look, babe, didn’t mean to offend, but considering the only thing I know about her is that she’s blown almost every single guy on Greek row, it’s hard not calling her a slut.”
You narrowed your eyes at him. “And you’re just the spitting image of chastity, aren’t you?”
He broke out into a smirk when you said that. “Well, I don’t really do chastity.”
“Then you have no right to call her such a demeaning name if you do the exact same thing she does.”
He rose his hands up in defense. “Didn’t mean to offend, I swear.”
You rolled your eyes at him. “I’m assuming you think yourself as some kind of god for sleeping around so much.”
“Well, I wouldn’t say god, but,” his smirk grew, “girls just seem to flock to me.”
You scoffed at his statement. “How humble,” you said, sarcasm dripping off of your tongue. “What has happened to chivalry in the modern age?”
“Chivalry’s dead, babe. It’s been dead since knights stopped being a thing.”
“So you’ve never loved anyone?”
“Love’s overrated. Life’s all about living to the fullest. You can’t do that tied down.”
“How,” you paused to mull over your words, “fratboy-ish of you to say.”
“Of course,” he leered down at you, “if it’ll get you into my bed, I’m all for dating.”
You shook your head at his statement. “Of course, how could I expect anything less from someone like you.”
“Someone like me?” he asked. His eyebrow cocked up in amusement.
“Someone who masks their fragile masculinity and fear of falling in love by never staying with the same person too long because it’s so not cool to be in a loving, trusting relationship.”
It was his turn to scoff at you. “Babe, I don’t love, period, not because of whatever bullshit you’re spewing. Love’s just something made up by the Hallmark company to sell their overpriced cards.”
“Really now? Well, what about a wager.”
“And what’s the wager?”
“Whoever I choose, you have to woo them. If you get rejected, you automatically lose the bet.”
“I don’t get rejected,” he said cockily.
“Anyways, if you succeed in wooing them, you have to date them for 4 months. Kissing, hand holding, dates, all that jazz, but you can’t sleep with them. If you seriously don’t feel anything for them by the end of the month, you win. If you do feel something, I win.”
He looked interested now. “And what do I get if I win?”
“Whatever you want from me.”
He rose his eyebrow at you. “You sure about that, babe? I don’t think you know what you’re getting into.”
You straightened yourself up. “I think I know what I’m doing, babe.”
Donghan looked at you amused and stuck his hand out. “Then I guess it’s a deal.”
You begrudgingly took his hand and shook it. Quickly letting it go, you turned around to scan the party, looking for someone. “Well, you have to go after her,” you said, pointing to a girl sitting by herself. You knew her from your Women’s Studies class, knowing full well how kind-hearted and genuine she is. It’d be impossible not to fall for her.
Donghan squinted his eyes in your finger’s direction. “Can’t you pick me someone a bit more, I don’t know, hot?”
You smirked up at him. “A deal’s a deal, Donghan. I recommend you get to work now if you really want to win.”

modern, muggle headcanons
[wolfstar and jily/jegulily, 1,5523]
 Remus
oversized sweaters and button downs all day everyday
ink stained hands
collects old books - Most have torn pages and faded ink from constant rereading.
has too many half written stories all featuring the same characters he’s overly attached to (an: oh shit its actually me)
somehow always carries chocolate or knows the nearest place he can get some.
works in a book store (an: I just love this au too much ik its cliché as hell)
WELSH ACCENT
can and will fall asleep anywhere
all his clothes have rips in them or are extremely worn - not on purpose like Padfoot however (’MOONY ITS PUNK ROCK SHUT UP AND GIMME THE SCISSORS’)
enjoys the rain a lot - lucky they stay in Scotland then
Amber eyes and golden hair that lightly curls with his love of the rain (James gets jealous bc hes the ‘curly haired friend’)
always carries a notebook, of which he has wayyyyy too many
knows too many constellations which he doodles in all of his notebooks and always keeps track of the moon phases, hence the nickname
his sleep schedule is beyond screwed - probably caused by “ nope I cant sleep without reading Pads,” and then getting completely transfixed by a fictional world
always sketching people around him, he could happily sit in a café all day and draw everyone there, maybe he has an entire notebook of Padfoot sketches, maybe he does not, who knows
can’t function without coffee
very trustworthy of his friends almost too trusting, but can barely talk to a person outside of their group
almost too pale, couldn’t tan if he tried all that the sun does is give him a light dusting of freckles and chases away his beloved rain
loves living in the attic of their huge shared home (curtesy of James’ insanely large inheritance and Sirius’ uncle Alphaard) it has wooden walls and an obscene amount of plants, his favourite part is a large window on the ceiling that he enjoys climbing out especially when its drizzling when the others join him
usually the subject of Padfoot’s (favourite) polaroids
probably the only guy there that thinks of the consequences of a situation before they become a reality
the responsible one
can read & write music
pianist
Lily & Peter read all of his stories - annoyed they aren’t finished
loves animals, still pretends to be annoyed when James brings home stray dogs
gets sick constantly and secretly finds it hilarious when Sirius freaks out and acts like his nurse
Sirius
constantly painting, drawing and creating awesome art pieces
photography nerd - has a huge collection of polaroids & pinholes in his ‘dark room’ (a cupboard under the stairs that has a red light)
owns a motorbike that he is constantly repairing and is attempting to convince James to get one too “prongs we’ll look awesome c’mon do it or the aesthetic” James can’t ride a damn bicycle
always stealing Remus’ sweaters, even thought they are all about 10 sizes too big
has at least 15 leather jackets.(Wears one bc Moony got him patches for it years ago)
Smoker (probably for the aesthetic tbh) “yeah right Moons it makes me punk rock as shit,”
wears his biker boots all day everyday
plays guitar (secretly acoustic is his favourite)
all his clothes are ripped as heck
very very protective of his friends, has given out and received his fair share of black eyes for this “its for a noble cause also it makes me look pun-”        “ Padfoot for god sake we get it you’re punk rock!”
terrible at showing negative emotions but has learned to when it comes to Prongs and Moony - he’s getting there with some of the others
obsessive in his love for dogs and is genuinely offended when Lily gets a cat, the day he found out  James bought it the word ‘betrayal’ is genuinely used, even more offended when Regulus began playing with the cats “ Sirius I'm named after a star in the LEO constellation???”
such a drama queen (speaking of Queen imagine him & Bohemian Rhapsody?)
tries to hide his aristocratic background, though his mannerisms show it off quite often
fluent in French he has a slight French accent
Lives on Tumblr (surprisingly this was never meant on this site) & Netflix
also memorises the moon phases ( just to impress Remus honestly)
makes awful puns constantly “I'm serious”       “nah I'm Sirius you’re James”         “ugh are you fucking serious”         “nah I'm fucking Moony” *atrocious wink*
ripped skinny jeans - Wormtail still calls him emo for it
James
super athletic
Loves photography claims to use the best equipment but still constantly invades Sirius’ excuse for a dark room
plays drums
somehow the only one who can cheer up Regulus instantly
only has 1 pair of glasses even though he is horrendously clumsy, Lily is assuming he is just seeing how much tape he can build up before they are entirely useless
obsessed over football - he manages a small team that he is way too enthusiastic about
still surprised Lily even talks to him “James we’ve been dating for 5 years stop being a prat”
plans out the biggest pranks and somehow manages to get everyone involved, if he doesn't they turn to shit but that's a ‘secret’ everybody knows
only shoes he actually ones are trainers & football boots “James you are not wearing Nikes to Alice and Franks bloody wedding!”
really copetitive
obsessively plays Xbox and has weekly gaming nights with everyone (Sirius always rage quits) Wormtail is the only one who is still playing with him after 30 minutes
goes on tones of unplanned road trips with Lily
tries a weird new diet practically every week, sort of a health freak
way too much house pride - his whole room is decorated red and gold
has an old pickup truck he prides too much even though he is almost needing to fix it as much as Sirius and his ancient motorbike
the ‘mom friend’ always looking after everyone
Peter
actually the only reason they don’t all eat fast food & take aways 24/7 - he’s a great cook
proof reads all of Remus’ stories for him before they get posted
works as a barista in a grunge as hell café across the road - the others always hang out there when he’s working
secretly enjoys the challenge of James’ strange dieting (gluten free+ vegan month was definitely a challenge though)
owns 2 pet rats - is scared shitless that Regulus’ pet snake is going to eat them at one point
really good at giving gifts because he’s great at listening to people
has a massive collection of hoodies for no apparent reason
always third wheeling because of Wolfstar and Jily, it’s better now that Regulus has move in though
really good at video games - occasionally lets James win because he gets too moody otherwise
bassist
only listens to indie & grunge music - secretly loves Sirius' obsession with vinyls
Lily
not super feminine but always has the latest fashion trends - usually fairly alternative (known to sport the jeans + fishnets thing that looks bomb as hell)
reads almost as much as Remus and is always hanging out in the book shop he works at
really enjoys playing football with James - finds it hilarious when he gets competitive
super long ginger hair + green eyes
loves tattoos, has handpoked a few of her own (mainly gets them done professionally, her friend Marlene is a tattoo artist) & Sirius let her do a moon on his wrist
doesn’t know that James reads all the books she talks about until she finds 3 of them hidden on his side of them wardrobe and interrogates him
super spontaneous really enjoys the constant unplanned road trips
does a lot of digital art, usually draws characters from books most often the characters Remus will never let go of in his stories
can ride a motorbike and occasionally takes Sirius’ for a spin
just a badass tbh
everyone takes their problems to her because she somehow has a solution for everything
wants to get into interior design and when they move in she helps everyone decorate their rooms, constantly adding to their home paints a different wall every week
literally friends with everyone - nobody dislikes her and probably couldn't if they tried
has a weird skill for knitting, likely the source of 90% of Remus’ holy sweaters
obsessed with ‘retro’ things, favourite things tend to be from the 80s/90s
always helping Wormtail when he is baking, as long as she gets the first taste
an: this was just a random thing I wrote in a notebook at school, the next time we get a cover teacher I’ll probably add some secondary characters (Regulus, Alice, Frank etc)
