I cannot remember for the life of me if I mentioned this here on the blog before, but I feel like I should bring that Grimm was the one who actually prompted Auric to come up with a name for himself. It was relatively soon after his transformation from big Wyrm to little fork gremlin. I like to think the whole interaction went down something like:

Grimm: "My Wyrm, I think it would be best you choose a name for yourself." PK: "What? Why?" Grimm: "For one, it's a lot more personal than calling you by a title." PK: "Psh, I don't really see how that's a problem." Grimm: "Okay, well, it's also awkward as shit to moan 'your Majesty' in bed." PK: PK: "Okay, fair—"

your mind though???? I would've never seen Greyback as a good antagonist if it wasn't for your fic. The werewolves as a theme are so interesting!

Greyback as the character JKR wrote is not a very good antagonist. She very evidently wrote him as though he was the big bad wolf from Little Red Riding Hood at the expense of proper character traits and expanding on the politics of the HP universe.

Greyback as a concept, however, was amazing. We are introduced to him by Remus as a werewolf that got fed up with the wizarding world's societal biases and decided to do something about it.

Now, I'm not saying his methods are proper. Riling werewolves up to basically turn as many humans as possible so that they can subvert the world order and keep the remaining ones as pets is.... not a very humane plan. He is an extremist, as it is so common of stories that deal with politics to have. But it was still very interesting that we have confirmation that there was such a thing as werewolves organizing to push back, and I wish it'd been more explored.

Now my Greyback is not a good person, anon. But politics are behind most of his actions.

I think people sometimes misunderstand why we come up with such elaborate justifications for shipping two characters together. I don't justify my ships because I feel that I need to; I justify my ships because squinting at the published canon with furrowed brow and asking myself "okay, how exactly would this work?" is my idea of a good time.
