just thinking about the fact that Scorpius had a deep distrust of Delphi from the moment he first met her and that distrust only increases each time. now, I believe he thinks his distrust stems from jealousy (albus IS his only friend and this woman was taking him from Scorpius), but I actually believe that Scorpius felt a darkness in her magic, the same darkness he knows is in his own magic, the same darkness he fights every single day. But Delphi doesn't, and he could sense that.

man, deciding how to roleplay Wyll can be hard sometimes, lol.

so on my first run, my Tav Delphis ran into the Arka and Sazza confrontation and let Arka execute Sazza by just minding xer own business. I figured as a sorcerer with the Criminal background Delphis has seen some shit and is sort of ‘eh’ on the moral alignment thing. xe’ll help people who ask for it, and try to protect kids, animals, and innocents, but xe’s not about to go to bat over a goblin that just shot at xem.

starting a Wyll file and getting to that confrontation, I wanted to try something different. I was like ‘hmm what would Wyll do? surely he would do the flashy heroic thing and offer to put himself in front of the bullet arrow.’ so I did. Gale was in the party and absolutely loved that, it pushed his approval high enough that he immediately confessed to Wyll about needing magic artifacts, citing how much he trusted Wyll because he was willing to put his life on the line for a stranger, just because she was a person, even though she sucked and was dangerous. and I was like aww what a nice moment! even though we didn’t actually do anything for Sazza and just left her there.

so naturally, when I opened a Gale file I had him step in front of the crossbow too, as he felt so strongly about it, and Wyll immediately disapproved 😭 I forgot about his extreme hatred of goblins, but even then I was like ‘surely he would make an exception for an unarmed prisoner of war?’ nope! so yeah, the Blade of Frontiers supports shooting an unarmed prisoner in a cage, lol.

If Rome and Athens were harder places to demigods to be, places practically seething with history and ghosts, then Delphi was even worse. And he really should have learned before now that looking into things on his own tended to go badly. But he hadn't, which was why he stood in front of the ruins now. In the distance, olive trees climbed the mountainside, dancing in the wind like an oddly vertical, green lake, while the ruins before him stood ominously quiet. That wouldn't last.

I’m starting the Octavian and Michale Kahale quest fanfic, but, how do we think Auguries feel? Like I’m really trying to consider this because obviously we never see it too well, and what we do see is like?

Octavian cutting open the stuffed animal, muttering something and being like “rad alright your golden” to Percy about joining but like?

What’s actually going on here? How like- hhhhhhhhhh. Also while I’m at it how was he in contact with Apollo? Does that ever get answered because I don’t think it could’ve been through his Haruspex/Auguring? Like-

There’s just so much Octavian stuff and so little to explain it. I might just make it like, super duper toned down Oracle because, he’s not an oracle but I still wanna give my silly little boy something that makes him ominous other than towering over everyone and like everything else Octavian has going for him.

But anyway expect the first bit of the Octavian Michael quest story soon! I don’t think it’ll be too long but I’ll honestly just have to see lol?

(Update: I have a little snippet of the beginning out now, the prologue if you would? I’m by no means a good writer but I like the story-)
