I mean i wanna see everyone's dynamics!!! I love characters' interpersonal relationships haha. Haku and Alan would be interesting. I feel like they're both kinda mellow, but it depends on what Tohma's told Alan about Haku. . . . Haku's also not much of a fighter so no bonding with sparring, but if he's being honest about having an interest in cars they'd have plenty to talk about! Maybe Haku would apologize for causing Alan problems--Tohma took over for him in Frostheim and that must've been rough, being captain of Vagastrom all by himself. As long as Haku is honest and kind and chill, I think Alan would like him, unless Tohma said not to trust him.

I think the dynamic I wanna see most is, understandably, between my favorites. I'd love to know Towa's relationships with everyone and what plant names he's given them. Same with Taiga and that he gives most people nicknames(so far the only one I remember him calling by name is Jin.) Do Yuri and Jiro and Nicolas have any observations or interest in Taiga's odd diet of almost only anomalies? Does Towa dislike doctors and that's why they don't have his blood type? Since it seems like Towa dislikes or is hostile towards anomalies, does he dislike Lyca or would they get along despite the language barrier? What does Leo think of Hyde, did he meet him before he came to Darkwick or did he not meet Sho until after Hyde had already gone? Does Taiga think Moby looks delicious? (I headcanon he bit him first year and Moby's a little scared of him as a result.) What sort of relationships did the third years have when they first arrived compared to now? (For example we know Romeo and Taiga used to be close but they're distant now.) What is the implied preexisting relationship between Sho and Ren? Does Leo know Ren too? Does Taiga eat the campus cats and Cornelius won't send anymore to Sinostra? Romeo hates Frostheim but was it always that way? Does he feel the same about Haku now that he's changed houses? What about Tohma? Did Kaito like Haku when he was in Frostheim? Kaito kind of recognized Leo, since Kaito's big on social media is he interested in him once he realized who he was? Kaito simping for Leo. . . . Is Luca suspicious of Obscuary students for being less human than others and thus possibly closer to demons? Ed uses the internet a lot, does he know about Leo? Crack ships. . .believe it or not I don't think about ships as much as I used to in fandom lol I still love them but. I feel like I don't think as much about them I guess haha. Zenji and Alan are both third years so they very well could have had previous interactions before Zenji died. You never know! Tbh I wouldn't consider any ships among the ghouls crack ships except Zenji and first years since they'd have no way of meeting atm(Zenji's non-WickHive/non-Wick-Chat accounts are run by Haku so that even rules out Zenji interacting with Leo online lol)--everyone else theoretically and conceivably could have had interactions in their time there.

I feel like Alan wouldn't know what to make of Zenji. He's a totally different kind of person to him or anyone he'd be used to. Loud, artsy, fantastical, pacifistic. . .I can see Zenji worrying over Alan easily, worried he's overdoing it exercising or that he might get hurt sparring or about how he clearly has some self-loathing issues and doesn't trust himself near others. Zenji's so friendly, I don't think Alan would easily be able to deflect him if he decided to try appealing to him and befriending him haha. Zenji is very literary and Alan is so. . .he's not a bookish person by any means, we'll go with that. He wouldn't know anything about poetry or music or stories, but maybe that'd make him find Zenji interesting. Zenji would play a song and Alan wouldn't know what to say to it. . .and Zenji would interpret it as him being stunned to silence or something lol. You don't have to say anything, just feel the music in your soul! I bet no one's told Alan a story since he was a kid, if it happened then. Maybe he'd find it pleasant, who knows. Zenji would find his brutish physique and strength inspiring, and maybe accompany him on camping trips because nature would also be inspiring! I think it could work in an extremely 'opposites attract' way lol. Zenji simply wandered the way of the Vagastrom garage one day in search of inspiration and. . .the rest was history. Alternatively maybe in his first year one of the professors assigned Zenji to help him with classwork? Or they were made to work with other ghouls/members of the class to formulate a way to capture anomalies?

For me. . .everything I can think of I have a basis for or i can make something up lol. I can ship anything but coming up with things is a little hard lolol. Probably Taiga/Ren or Romeo/Ren. Ren ends up borrowing money from one of them to pay for his gacha addiction. With both he tries to sell off Jabberwock anomalies--but, uh, he has to get them to Sinostra first. Which is not easy when they are big or scary or gross. Romeo likes his men dumb, and Ren isn't the brightest guy you'll ever meet. He's probably average. And Taiga likes having playthings who react in fun ways--Ren is a little stilted in his emotions but also gives strong reactions to things and I think Taiga would like messing with him. Oh and when they learn Ren's stigma cleans stuff. . .i mean every good organized crime group needs cleaners. Ren doesn't know why he starts getting excited around them eventually it just happens and it doesn't make sense what is this some sort of awful booktok dark romance????? This is embarrassing. He doesn't know how he ended up in this situation. He's not sure if this is better or worse than the animals.

(also less crack because, again, both third years but. . .Romeo/Alan. Romeo even admits to liking dumb men. And Alan is not very bright.

I'm just imagining Romeo watching Alan struggle during class, resisting a dumb grin. Taiga can I? Can I please? I know you don't actually care, but I care I want you to say it's okay please I just wanna flirt with him I don't think he'd even notice he's so dumb--)

Also consider, Towa x the tree on the hill. Not really crack because he clearly loves that tree and it's sentient enough to speak to him but still lmao.

Okay so there's this thing in OMORI where each main character has a flower that correlates to their personality. Kel being a cactus because he's resilient, Hero being a rose because he's universally loved, etc.

Now what if we were to assign flowers to each Nightmare Kid?

Like Noone, Low, Mono, Six, Cici, Raincoat, etc.

Ideas/flowers I assigned are listed below:

I think Mono would be a crocus or a forget-me-not. They're both colours I think he'd like, and I've always imagined Mono to be a winter-birthday kid. Crocus are flowers that bloom in late winter, and I suppose that also represents resilience in a way??? Not many flowers bloom in the winter because of the cold. As for forget-me-nots... I think it's easy to explain? Forget-me-nots usually symbolize faithfulness and remembrance, and Mono just... radiates that stuff.

Six would either be a poppy, dandelion, or a bleeding hearts flower. Poppy because they actually have two meanings! In western culture, it represents death, because of its blood-red colour, while in eastern culture, they represent success or passion, if I remember correctly. Dandelion is... self-explanatory? It's yellow, like Six's raincoat, and it's a weed- just like Six- (/hj /hj) Bleeding hearts is also self-explanatory. It's literally a flower that looks like a bleeding heart. Plus they're cool, and I think Six would think so as well. I rest my case.

Noone is probably the easiest? I mean... she did have a flower in the podcast so my homework's already done for me. I think Noone would be a chrysanthemum or a poppy. Poppy for the same reason as Six, it means death and success Chrysanthemum because it's the flower that her parents left her before she was taken under Otto's "care"

Raincoat would probably be a hibiscus or a carnation. Raincoat was a pretty short-lived character, just like how hibiscus have a short life-span. They also mean "gentle" or something of the sort. Since Raincoat radiates gentle older-sister-energy, I'm giving this to her. Red carnations are a symbol of love (both romantic and platonic), protection, and passion. Raincoat feels like a very loving character, and a passionate one at that. She feels like she'd do anything in her power to protect anyone she loves. She just... feels like a carnation.

I don't have much to say about Runaway, but he feels like a periwinkle person. Reason 1, it means hope (apparently), and Runaway seems to have a lot of ties to "hope"? I'm not sure where or how we got there, but... nonetheless it's still there. Reason 2, it's blue. That's it. It's blue, just like Runaway. I would say the typical "water lily" or "lotus", because Runaway has a lot of connections to water... but... That's basic. Plus, lotus and lilies mean like... "purity" and "calmness" and all that jazz, and the Runaway in my head is the pure and utter opposite to "calm" and "virtuous". The only lily-flower I'd refer him to would be pink or yellow water lilies. Pink because they apparently mean friendship and joy, yellow because they mean energy and new beginnings.

Low and Alone are their own can of worms that I can't even open. We know next to nothing about these two, so how am I supposed to assign a flower based on their characteristics if I have no characteristics to work with? The only thing I can offer atm is Alone being a tiger lily and Low being a Birds of Paradise flower. Tiger lily because they remind me of Alone's silly goofy hair. And Birds of Paradise because... um... bird-boy.

Any head canons about Zombie Mob and after he's cured?

hrrmmmmm still kinda changin little things around for how zombies work in general bc im indecisive but im gonna use this ask as an excuse to talk abt How He Works

the other day i was thinkin abt his protectiveness over ritsu, and how it only reaches so far before it makes a full stop. it Would seem like he'd be alarmed at ritsu being hurt in any capacity, but that's not always the case. rly, it depends entirely on how ritsu reacts to the injury

remember, zombies don't have a good grasp on past events beyond their turning—a lot of them can remember faces and names and basic concepts but most things are lost in the froth. since zombies don't feel pain and therefore do not feel the consequences of an injury, their association with things like blood and seeing open wounds is not negative—why would it be, when they've experienced nothing negative from them? it is simply a Neutral Thing in their eyes

however, zombies are still human, and when healthy humans are hurt, they usually scream or cry or Something. hearing another human yell in pain is often a little harrowing, and on pure instinct zombies will sometimes flock to this noise in a very innocent mindset of wanting to aid. the thought process of hungry zombies hearing that is a little different, and they will prolly try to eat whatever is vulnerable and hurting. zombies that aren't hungry atm tho will simply wanna check it out

hearing ritsu scream will trigger that protective instinct in mob. seeing his brother's arm torn to shreds tho? Only if he's actively acting distressed. if ritsu got a gash in his leg but he's toughing it out even as it seeps blood, mob will simply just.stare. right at the open wound. and be Unbothered. he doesn't quite understand anymore that a hole in ur flesh is painful—he does understand pained sounds, tho

if ritsu is actively upset for other reasons aka the 17 mental illnesses he's developed mob will start getting antsy. u ever heard of animals actin weird before a big storm rolls in? kinda like that. he's distressed that his brother is distressed and he doesn't rly know how to make it better, so he just starts shuffling his feet and acting like he doesn't know where to go next. he also tends to plop his head down on ritsu's shoulder like i've mentioned (i think) and it's a 50/50 chance on whether that makes it any better

on the subject of his constant exhaustion, when ritsu finally does get mob to fall sleep he is Out and Unmoving and his body is so desperate for energy that he doesn't wake up for the next 21 fucking hours or more. ritsu actually regularly gets worried abt how long he sleeps. he's simply resigned himself to being 40% more stressed during his naps

zombie mob also loves water ! another remnant of Before—they had a stream in their backyard before everything went to shit and they had to leave, and mob Loved that thing. he'd sit in the backyard and listen to the sound of the water trickling for hours. nowadays, if they find any sort of stream or source of flowing water, it's very hard to get mob to leave. he loves listening to it and if it's coming from above and splashing to the ground he'll stand in the stream and be the most content zombie that ever lived. unfortunately he's also wet now. sorry ritsu

hrrmmmmm vaguely related to the first thing... mob is a bit like a cat that keeps knocking shit over when it comes to sneaking around settlement patrols. ritsu does his absolute best to steer clear of patrols by a long shot in general, but sometimes it's necessary to squeeze past one. normal mob is quiet and his steps are soft and while he's not the most graceful he's not a walking hazard—zombie mob is tho <3

he doesn't rly Understand that the goal is to not be seen and these people have guns and those guns can hashtag kill you to death, and ritsu can only do so much to "tell" mob to be quiet. he doesn't understand any of the hand signals he gives him, any of the Shush gestures, and mob is absolutely fascinated by this vase—oh it broke. oh neat, footsteps and yelling that's fun

most of the time they get by unscathed.but sometimes mob will do the worst possible thing at the worst possible moment and those r the times ritsu gets truly and genuinely frustrated w him. poor guy can't help it he's a zombie.ritsu knows this .he pushes on

in regards to patrols, actually, it's interesting to think about how zombies Learn. they,, seemingly don't. a lot of the times, the consequences of something bad they do is either pain, or death, and since they don't feel pain ... well u can't exactly learn from that. a lot of the times, zombies will keep doing one thing over and over again, even if it's actively killing them, until they die from it

zombies are attracted to noises and smells, so it stands to reason that mob might be inclined to walk right up to a patrol car. there's people here ! let's check it out. and zombies do this all the time. all a patrol car has to do, rly, is keep its engine running, and zombies within earshot of it will flock and then get killed

mob, interestingly, is in a position to Learn as a zombie. not many zombies keep their lives after running into a patrol car, but mob has protection, and people looking after him. mob has walked away from patrol cars w his life many times. and i think he starts to understand that they're dangerous once ritsu gets hurt

it takes a couple rounds of it to get it through his head, but the next patrol car he sees and considers venturing to, he thinks about what happened last time this occurred—the screaming from ritsu, mainly—and he stops. if mob were suddenly alone, and ritsu was gone, he'd surely walk right up to that patrol car and get shot in the head for it. it's not like he'll feel it. but ritsu is with him, and he doesn't want his little brother to scream like that again, so he decides not to, and lets himself get led away from the car

Greasy has also been known to just come up to you outta nowhere, dip you and give you a big fat V-J Day kiss where you cant breath for what feels like minutes but its so lovely you don't even miss it. These are straight outta one of those cartoon clips they play at ball games where the kiss-ee ends up all heart eyed and dumb~ I can see him doing this for a multitude of reasons- he wants to prove you're really his to someone, he's feeling really hot, he 'just felt like it', he wants to make Psycho uncomfortable, he wanted to show you you looked especially beautiful today, he wants to distract you,.. etc. It is but one of his secret weapons.

Slow, deep kisses leading up to something... You're just edging towards the bedroom together but Greasy (obviously) cant wait or keep his hands to himself so while you're walking very cautiously backwards he's got his hand on your waist and he's kissing you gently as you both inch closer to the bedroom.

Goodbye kisses. Look, if you're with him, you're probably really horny too. When Greasy has got to go on a trip (or just a regular day job) with the boys, the others will all be running about trynna get their stuff together and make sure they're ready- and you and Greasy are just up against a wall somewhere slowly making out with heavy tongue!! Slight tangent in case this ends up aging like milk: Lewis would look good in red. He looks better in black/white and cyan, for sure, but he wouldn't look bad in red. Tbch, he might just take the opp at Ferrari to go all in on fancy Italian clothing, maybe even pretty (pretty as in "she's really pretty", not "i'm pretty sure") old/vintage pieces, and MAYBE even dragging Shallie into it for funsies. Also, if Merc is like, dogcrap for 24-25 (if he stays for 25, which I think is a little up in the air atm bc if I remember correctly, which chances are I'm not, he did a deal where it's one and one), he might be desperate enough for retirement to try out another team so he can try to win his eighth and, well, retire.

However, if he did move to Ferrari, I don't think he'd wanna do it w/o Bono, considering the absolute mess Ferrari is with strategy, and frankly I feel like that's also another reason why him in red feels so absurd, bc I think most of us saw him laughing with Georgie and Max when they saw that they put one of the Ferraris (maybe Shal?) on hards in that one race. Like- you see- you don't just laugh at a strat decision, at practically the strategists ("they put him on hards?") in front of cameras in a cool down room without thinking, hey, these guys are terrible at their jobs, I sure am glad that's not MY team, y'know??? The thought of Lewlew leaving Merc in general feels fairly, howdoiputit, incredulous, but the thought of him leaving for Ferrari? For red? Actually fockin' bloody - Ferrari red bloody - ridic, in so many ways, b/c of things like "they put him on hards" and "i don't think ferrari has ever complimented me in 13 years" and all the extra politics and Toto saying that Lewis thrives with his freedom, and idk how much that works at the Scuderia but it certainly isn't as much as what Merc (even a lot of other teams tbh) does with its drivers. It's also kinda funny b/c if he did, LFW might end up becoming a whole lot more interesting with him popping out a bunch of fancy pretty (maybe even vintage) Italian clothing, which frankly would be a joy to see.

Lewis would go to Ferrari under two main conditions: one is that he has the upper hand in bargaining, meaning he can bring people like Bono in with him so he doesn't get screwed over by Ferrari strategy. Two is that he really wants to retire and beat Michael ASAP and is really, really feeling Merc can't give him either of those things within a reasonable amount of time.

But anyways, I'm just gonna hope this Giuseppe guy is wrong so I don't have to watch Lewis's hairline dissipate a second time because of Ferrari Ferrari-ing all over the place.

Okay locking in my guesses for today >:)

David - def doubt he's culprit, he's just been so narratively suspicious that i doubt it's him. He's been called out by Teruko from the start and if i ever made a fangan, i wouldn't choose to put the culprit in the thumbnail. Judging by the fact he revealed his family history of depression, he might be the hopeless child one, as i realized the manipulator one may not fit him. Hes shown to be overall upfront on his intentions and judging by how he let his mask slip within the first moments after meeting xander and teruko suggests that he puts up a front, not a manipulator. He also did blush after arei hugged him, and i doubt u can fake that, so i think his feelings (platonic i feel) are real

Ace - Im still on fence whether he may have the motive. He could easily be bluffing (maybe to draw David out and for david himself to admit it) as idk if Ace would ever go looking for David's secret by asking around. If Ace does know, it either implies he guessed using process of elimination (maybe he at least knows other people's secrets like min or levi) or he asked either veronika (i think she has the hopeless secret) or whit. But ace doesnt like veronika, and idk if he'd talk to whit lol.

As for him being culprit, it wont make sense imo for him to admit he was on the second floor at the time of death. Moreover, and really imo, the murder doesn't feel like ace would do it (i sound like j lol) as its a very clean murder and I feel ace would he of a more slapped-dash kinda of way. He does have motive to kill, either nico or to escape, but he has no reason to kill arei that i can think of.

Nico - kinda like david, if Nico is the killer, it would be narratively disappointing. To just have nico pivot his attention to arei makes no sense. Now both murder set ups seem similar, with the neck being the point damaged, but nico would be incriminating himself if he just did something he was caught last time for doing AGAIN. Though nico was just wandering around (while i dont think its crucial atm, the fact no one aside ace found that suspect is strange) at the time of death is suspicious. Nico does say he feeds the fish before 10 and he recalls seeing David go to the second floor around time of death, so wouldn't nico have been there too?? Again i don't want nico killer

Swap theory - admittedly ... i dont get the swap theory. I get too mixed up on who's doing the killing and who's being impersonated. Tho it could be possible, as during first part of trial, there was an extended discussion abt accomplices that seemed to have gone no where, so for it could be paid off later in the trial.

Hu - Honestly there's just this gut feeling I have it's Hu even tho theres no indication yet. As everyone has pointed out, shes been very defensive of nico in this whole nico-ace debacle, while nico has been strangely silent. Hu definitely dislikes ace, tho for arei, I'm not as sure outside of hu being fed up with arei in ch 1. Hu refuses to tell her secret or for some reason, the secret she has. There was wire involved with nico killing ace, wire hu could have given, and she may have resorted to arei's rope in storage since she no longer has her weapon and a rope is similar to her wire. Charles does mention finding a starched up ball of clothes in the dress up room, clothes only whit, teruko, and hu are probably aware of. And we do see hu's clothing there. She also mentions her alibi twice with being with eden, which isnt anything important, I just thought was strange.

Eden - I recall reading a post of eden being a culprit and truth is ... i dont wanna suspect my girl even if there is evidence 😭😭 she has connections with arei, and she was with hu during the time of death, a alibi i just said i doubted. She was in the dress up room for unexplained reasons the night of ace's "bda". But i really dont want it to be eden, and if it is, pls for a good reasonnnnn

Levi - i love levi, he's literally why i got into drdt so ahhh i dont wanna suspect him. But with the emphasis placed on the secrets, Levi's could potentially fit the cold blooded killer. Tho from the intro to ch 2 between levi and eden, he does seem to be wanting to be a good person, which doesnt read to me as a killer without remorse. However he does have a connection with ace and nico, and he did mention saying he wanted to strangle ace during the first trial, with ace and arei then being attacked at their neck. There's an unexplained punch on the computer room's wall, one that could connect to the floor below and seems levi could be the one to break the wall like that.

There are so many layers to this story, I love it!

In that last part, when you started with y/n taking horse riding lessons, I somehow really thought she might have taking Metaphor.

Like it's a part of her past and we didn't have the information on whether she's still into it or doing it or whatever. So it felt like she's taking a step away from her f1 world and into "another life", "her old life", whatever you wanna call it. And the idea that it's her letting Metaphor somewhat in, giving sth away and letting him see that side to her would have fit.

And yet again - it's Max sticking by her side, all supportive, focus on her and her only!

You said he's consciously "only" worried about her not talking to him, so any other feelings are rather unconsciously. And that's how I felt about it rather early in the story. I do believe she's so much more to him than a friend, but he still doesn't know it, or rather consciously agrees to that. However, him talking to Daniel about it and Daniel nagging on about what everyone seems to see there other than Max and y/n, does seem to unravel things for Max. And I'm here for that! #teammax

The y/n part is even more interesting... like she realizes there might be something off with Max, he's acting different, but yet she can't bring herself to talk to him, even though she suspects he knows sth. So if she believes he might know, why does she believe he acts the way he does with her? Like what is she afraid of? If both have dated and it's always been fine with them, why hide it now? Why make it bigger than it has to be?

I'm fully convinced that it should not be a problem to talk to Max like she talks to Lando, if it wasn't for there being sth more. So either she's worried about his reaction, which makes me wonder if she feels like there's more feelings there on his side...

Or she might be worried about her own feelings towards a certain Dutchman, even if so unconsciously... to me it really sticks out, how she's clinging to Max herself.

Like Max is behaving differently, she immediately asked Lando if he spilled the guts. She makes it about herself. What other reason could there be? Metaphor asked her out to dinner when she was still in the UK. She held back the answer, checking in with Max first, then declined Metaphors offer. The guy is always massaging like how she is, what's she doing, adding the little x's. She's doing none of that. Answering when questioned, keeping it short and rather impersonal. Like she's not even trying.

So really to her it probably doesn't seem to be important enough to talk about it with Max.

It doesn't feel like she thinks it's the big deal with Metaphor and that's why she won't say a thing. It's not a big thing to her, because as soon as there's something weird about Max' behavior that's the big deal for her. That's her main focus.

Max literally holding on to her finger tips cause he doesn't want to lose her is only one side of the picture. She might not be doing it quite literally, but she's still doing it all on her own.

And when you told that you believe if things were the other way around and Max was seeing someone without telling her, that she wouldn't take it well... I can fully see that. Absolutely. She'd probs go nuts.

And that really makes me wonder how she'd deal if Max won't react all too well to a new guy in her life. Then again it's Max. He'd probably rather cope than lose her completely...

I'm rambling. And I'm really curious where you'll go with the story. I guess I just really don't see the spark with y/n and Metaphor. 🤣

Awww no now I almost wish she had gone riding with Metaphor haha, because you’re right it would have fit. But then I think it also wouldn’t have fit for their comfort level atm, like she’s still scheduling dinners I don’t think she’d let him drive her to Nice to watch her riding lesson. I also think after Max’s weird turn they were looking for something fun to do together.

I also think Max is such a supportive person, like she spends so much time cheering him on I think he relished the opportunity to do that for her even if it was just an hour. I’m so sad they weren’t close when she was competing with horses because Max has always said his family lived for him because of all he was doing l, I think he almost would have enjoyed being supportive of someone else’s pursuits.

Lol poor Max, no one wants to meet him at his level to talk to him. I understand his frustration because it’s hard when you think one thing and you want help with the problem you think you have, and other people are so intent on telling you you have a different problem that you don’t feel you do. I can’t wait to get more into Max’s headspace on this because it’s really illuminating.

I think with Y/N, she’s never really been in this situation. Anyone she’s dated in the last 7-8 years has been someone Max knows it knows of, so he would know about her dating them, and she wouldn’t not tell him because she wouldn’t want it to blindside him. Whereas Metaphor is a whole new person that she’d have to introduce into their world, and she’s not ready to commit to him being in her life yet let alone him being a character in her wider circle. I mean, they’ve been on one coffee date. I think she knows that once it’s out there it’s going to have some kind of consequence so she thinks, why start that if he’s going to be gone in a few weeks.

Max is definitely someone who just copes, if it’s outside his control he just sucks it up and gets on with it. I don’t think she’s worried he will react badly, more that there will be a natural shift once there’s another man in her life.

I don’t think there’s necessarily a spark with Y/N and Metaphor but she definitely doesn’t see that as a negative…more on that to come.

Admittedly, this is kind of a new concept for the sextuplets. Ichi, Totty and Jyushi (and maybe Kara) are the only ones that have seriously looked into the LGBTQ+ community prior to you coming out, but all 6 are fairly sure they identify as their AGAB, so this is brand new territory. However, they all think it makes sense. If you don't feel like the label that was slapped onto you at birth is a fitting one, you should absolutely be allowed to find and use a better one! It's just common sense, right? It should be common sense, anyway.

Oso doesn't treat you any differently after you come out to him. He won't make it a big deal if you don't want him to. Take it from somebody who is completely the same person now as he was in high school: people change all the time, right? Small changes, big changes, doesn't matter. But you're still yourself when you change. Even if you're completely different today from the person you were yesterday. And that's why he still loves you, because you haven't stopped being yourself. You're just becoming a happier version of yourself, and that's pretty kickass.

Kara gets all poetic about it, like he does for many things. Lots of cute, slightly painful metaphors, like comparing you to a butterfly, or the moon, or a flower blooming, or any other thing in nature that changes phases. Even if it's kinda pretentious, you can't help appreciating how far he goes to make sure you know he loves you no matter what. All the cliche flattery is completely sincere, he means every word. He's just dramatic as hell.

Choro is a little freaked out, not because of you but because he's super worried about saying or doing something wrong and totally ruining everything between you. You have to admit it's cute to watch him fumble over his words and get all worked up, but eventually you reassure him that it's okay to make a mistake here or there. As long as he isn't purposely misgendering or deadnaming you, it's understandable to mess up a few times at first.

Much like Oso, Ichi doesn't feel the need to make a big deal out of it and won't if that's not the energy you're looking for. He's more the kind of person to show his support in small ways. If he manages to find anything with trans pride flag colors, whether they be there intentionally or not, he'll probably get it for you. He'd also be really excited to go to a pride parade or other pride event with you, he's kinda always wanted to but never felt like he had a real reason to before... which is silly in retrospect, he absolutely could have gone if he felt like it. But now he can also go with you, which makes it even more special.

Jyushi is much better than his brothers at parsing out the kind of response you're looking for, his emotional intelligence in general is a lot higher than that of his brothers. So if you're looking for a big, excited reaction from him, he's gonna throw you a coming out party. If you're looking just for acknowledgement, he can also do that. He and Ichi are probably the most likely to Choose Violence when it comes to addressing transphobic assholes, as well.

Y'know, it's kind of a funny coincidence, but people occasionally mistake Totty for a girl. Especially if he's not with his brothers. Sure, he is a bit of a twink and he does care about fashion, but it bothers him that people immediately label him a woman just for those things. Anyway, his point is that people are so weird about gender roles and all that. Like, it's completely baffling what things people will attribute to being Inherent and Exclusive to One Gender Only™️. Having a larynx? Oh that's only for men. Being creative? Oh that's only for women. And so on and so forth. Again, it's baffling. All that to say, try not to let it get to you too much. If people misgender you or are transphobes, they just have bizarre, socially ingrained notions about gender that don't reflect reality. You and him can be cooler, happier individuals than those who are so damn invested in goofy societal expectations.

I was just thinking, what do you think Chris's love language would be? I tried imagining what it might be, and surprisingly I can't decide on it. I was thinking that words of affirmation might be one? In both fics he reassures and comforts Ryan with his words, but then I got thinking about GP and the end of chap 4. He's growing somewhat touchy, and jealous (although I don't think the latter a love language?) so then I wondered if physical affection could be in the mix too. But it's difficult to say bcs he usually tries to hold himself at a distance doesn't he 🤔

Also, I was rereading the chapters again, and I finally have theory about how he could be watching Ryan in the basement. So, you said Ryan knows about the cameras now, but from what we know (that Ryan knows) is that they're outside camp by the trails and stuff. But what if Chris has also got cameras inside?

But then I sort of scratched that bcs Ryan would have noticed a camera in the room...unless it was one of those sneaky hidden cameras that don't look like one? 🤔 then I got thinking about why he'd wanna watch Ryan do laundry in the first place, is there a reason for that which will be revealed later or no? If Chris has managed to spy on him in there another way, that would be really cool and equally creepy. But I'm here for that, it's spooky season, and it's a horror game anyway 🤪

ahhh, it’s such a good question! and such complicated one, when it comes to them. mostly, bc their relationships are always balancing on line of what ‘can’ one do and, then what one ‘wants’ to do, and technically still can, but it might be taken as them committing smth inpropriate. tho funny enough, the game on itself, low-key cheers it on. so it’s more of chris’s own inner issues, really. personally, i don’t think, that most of hacketters (not all clearly) would care if ryan slept with their camp operator lol. but when it comes to chris there is the major issue of him ‘allowing’ himself to act on his desires/instincts, bc he himself view them as ‘bad thing’. so yeah, for the most part he only uses his words as showing ryan, that he’s very important to him. i mean, in the beginning he’s sort of reached out to him only via conversations, and very small portions of supposedly ‘fatherly’ touches. but back then, his affection was also of a different nature vs how it progressed from there on (if we take fanon of ASB, at least). the best way i can put it is that chris wants to do more, but feels like he can’t. 

and tbh, this is one of those aspects, that i find hella intriguing in their dynamic. it can go a few ways, and there is always a ‘line’, that chris would try not to cross, but usually, does end up crossing, anyways. but how far that ‘line’ lies heavily depends on ryan’s responses. or on how openly he provokes the reaction from chris. and like, ryan was still somewhat modest in ASB. but how modest will he be in GP, when he’s the one, who will eventually have all kinds of ‘leverages’? and how much longer can chris ignore all that temptation, when it’s literally being shoved into his face? now, that's a thing to take in consideration. but ah, i’ll leave it here for now! i already sorta walked away from the main question. so back to chris’s way of showing affection/love, in GP there will be more physical stuff later on. but as far as it goes now, i guess, we can say that words/eye contact and teasing of proximity is chris’s main established love language atm lol. but there are always new forms to express it too.

and ah, you’re spot on! there are cameras inside the lodge too. naturally, chris wouldn’t tell this to anyone, bc it would make them wary and rightfully so. like it’s one thing to track what happens around the camp, but what good can the cameras inside the lodge do? well, prob none. but that’s until you take in consideration what exact locations of these cameras are. one is inside the basement for sure. and from what we know, from the prologue alone, is that chris used the basement as a container for himself, on time of the full moon (at least occasionally). so it’s safe to say, that he didn’t use that camera for anything ‘creepy’, right until he didn’t notice ryan going there day after day, and started, well yeah, doing just that. being creepy about it lol. 

as for how come that ryan didn’t see the cameras, the answer is kinda simple tbh. for one, he didn’t have a reason to look for one, or even truly admire the ceiling or just go around the place. for example, there are cameras all over the big malls, but usually, an average person won’t even bother to pin-point where it might be located or even consider, that they might be filmed right now. it’s kinda the same principle here. then, ryan is also tired and sleep-deprived, so his attention to the details isn’t the best. one’s vision get all fucked up, when you don’t sleep well for weeks, so it’s hard to see smth small, so far away, esp in the fairly poorly lighted room. and yeah, this will be touched upon, and ryan will actually attempt to ‘put the pieces’ together, haha. i also was considering later on, making a single chapter, that would be sorta a recap of ‘major’ happenings in GP, but from chris’s perspective, which will give a different spin on some things, that we can only see through ryan’s eyes. anyways, the explanation to how chris was watching ryan is fairly ‘down to earth’, less so the reason why he just kept on watching him, over and over. making all kinds of assumptions. and then…where the rest of cams are? was he also watching ryan elsewhere? soon, ryan will learn exactly that.

Okay so! Etheara is descended from my Nerevarine, so even after his parents died due to complications relating to the Red Year, he was still easily recognized-- particularly by members of the Temple & members of House Telvanni, the house that the Nerevarine had joined. Because he's the grandson of such a prolific mage (not just the Nerevarine-- his mother's magical skill was also renowned), he was expected to share that sort of power. Unfortunately, it was not hereditary. What was hereditary, though, was the total of two brain cells-- both of which he shares with his twin brother, who uses them more often than not.

Mostly, Etheara is a huge huge surprise to meet. The grandson of the Nerevarine, who had been a powerful Witchhunter; the Hortator; the founder of Raven Rock Mine; the former Archmagister of House Telvanni. Etheara is dumb as rocks, and very kind, and very strong

10. Which factions are they aligned with? Including civil war sides, Thalmor, guilds etc.

So first off. House Telvanni. He doesn't fit in very well, but he is a born House Dunmer. Also he gets invited to join it a 2nd time while helping Neloth in Solstheim (Neloth doesn't know who the fuck this guy is LMAO he barely cared about Travlse [Nerevarine] in the first place; as if he keeps track of his spawn)

But going into Skyrim, first off, he is in the Imperial Legion (only cares about the civil war insofar as the Dunmer in Windhelm are being oppressed; the larger issues escape him), formerly a member of the College of Winterhold (no idea how to put this story very concisely; I'll just say it involves Hermaeus Mora & an unlucky Maormer) and is part of the Blades (didn't really wanna but Delphine scared him). I haven't ever finished the game so maybe he'd join more?? But probably nothing criminal (I know the game strongarms you into joining the Thieves' Guild. But that doesn't happen to Etheara it happens to the dude they think is the LDB before Etheara. His name is Vanyo and I would also love to talk about him :) )

15. What is their personal LEAST favourite place in Skyrim- somewhere that annoys them, or comes with bad memories, or otherwise?

OH MAN. :)

Windhelm, first and foremost. Not only do people stare & jeer at him, but this was where Revyn asked him to find Viola Giodarno's ring and leave it in her home. He decided he knew better, and instead gave it back to her. Which, while it seems like the less-unhinged direction, her response is completely disproportionate. He carries that guilt all the way to Solitude, where he joins the Imperial Legion to try to make specifically Revyn's life easier. Revyn, a guy he spoke to maybe 3 times. And also everyone else in the Grey Quarter, and also himself should he choose to stay in Skyrim-- but tbh he doesn't really care that much about himself, and he doesn't know anyone. Soooo

Winterhold, specifically the College of. Etheara was not the hero of that story. He carries little memory of the incident, but can't help feeling guilty when he thinks of the place. Everything turned out more or less fine btw (except the people that died) but ngl the College of Winterhold serves as my main sandbox when it comes to Skyrim lmao

I actually haven't finished the game, so I don't really know all of the steps in the main quest & I don't know what lore I would impose on the rest of the world in tandem yet!! So those are the main two atm :)

20. Which NPC have they killed and absolutely NOT regretted it (excluding the major villains)?

So this is complicated! Etheara's story actually cannot be told from his perspective for two main reasons: first, at the end of his adventures as the Dragonborn, he burns all of his journals and books so that the written word can never again have such a hold on him; second, his memory is genuinely just so filled with holes and gaps, especially during the most interesting parts. When I work on his story, I tell it from the perspectives of the people he surrounds himself with-- both those that care about him, and those that don't.

If he could remember every life he took; if he could see the blood on his hands... he'd regret all of it more than anything.

But he can't. So.

25. Which of the Dragon Priest masks do they favour and wear the most? If the answer is Konahrik, pick the second favourite too. [Spoilers for Dragonborn DLC]

That's going to be Zahkriisos! If we are counting Dragonborn DLC, which I am.

First off, one of two dragon priests I've actually encountered in the game (btw I have 400+ hours in Skyrim KJDHFG I don't have any excuses. I just keep starting over when the vibe's not right)-- and the only one of the two he actually fights

But also, regardless of how much other information I have, it's going to be extremely difficult to top how well this particular mask clicks into place, lorewise-- because the Nerevarine has a fairly prominent hand in establishing the Raven Rock Mine. By eliminating Zahkriisos, Etheara is continuing his family's legacy. It's also where he finds his first Black Books, and the Horrors ensue. And the aforementioned Maormer has an extremely prominent storm/lightning theme, so to then have 50% resistance is so <3 you know??

OLD MAN YELLS AT CLOUD / ACCEPTING . . .

Something I've often complain about but it's simply because I can't really think about anything else that makes me salty atm. But depictions of Eddie where he's pathetic and/or cowardly. And I guess it drives me wild that most of Tumblr (er, Bman fandom at least on here) seems to eat it up. They adore him as a soppin pathetic mess. BUUUT LIKE. Realistically speaking. In a crime ridden city, somebody who hides in their bowler hat and gets beaten around isn't actually gonna last long. He'd be killed fast. I don't mind the occasional silly Batman rogue like Condiment King just for some every now and then comic relief. But to see Eddie constantly depicted in such a way just gets tiring.

In my opinion, Eddie should be a badass that's consistently seen as a threat among the vigilantes and the other rogues. And THAT itself shouldn't be an unpopular opinion. Many people claim Eddie can't be taken seriously. Why? Because of the riddles? Yet this is a world where a man dresses as an animal with a child in colorful clothing, and they go around beating up a clown. Oh, and he's also in love with a woman also dressed up like an animal. Like if Batman never existed, and I was to give that concept to people who had no knowledge of DC - it sounds absolutely ridiculous. Yet, for some reason, the idea of Eddie being a threatening villain is seen as ridiculous. And he can't be anything more but a comic relief and/or punching bag. I'm sorry, but I will never understand why it's so hard for many fans to see Eddie as actually threatening. Even his fans here have a hard time seeing it - as it seems the majority of ppl do enjoy Eddie that's pathetic and gets kicked around a lot. (The AMOUNT of ppl I've seen joke about him being a lightweight when it comes to alcohol/weed, or how he's a Super Virgin. Makes me wanna bang my head against the wall)

Funny enough, as much as I hate his writing, Tom King does understand Eddie can be threatening. Exceeeept. Tom King's writing is so miserable, and lacks the actual meaning, creative, or political depth that Frank Miller, Alan Moore, or even Grant Morrison's writing had. (Yes, Frank is, understandably, a controversial writer now. But Frank's earlier works were actually quite amazing) So, even though Tom does take Eddie seriously - he's one of my least favorite Eddies because Tom's idea of a mature comic is that everyone is miserable, and everyone swears after every other sentence. But that falls under another line of DC problems; making every villain the worst person imaginable.

Anyway, I don't mind the occasional jabs at Eddie. Every rogue should have the occasional jab. But I just can't stand it when Eddie's potential is push aside to just be the pathetic babey meow meow. I can't be too annoyed at the fandom just because DC actively pushes this characterization. While Eddie's been lame like this since the beginning of his time (Do NOT get me started on the Hush sequel that wasn't written Jeph.) it just seems this depiction of him is even more prevalent now.

I keep hoping the most recent movie would help with Ed's characterization in other modern medias. But honestly? I don't think it will. Accidentally, it may have done more damage given that, while people liked Eddie's depiction in it. He did have a rather uhhh... very nerdy look to him, and looked a lot like a Reddit incel (which birthed a lot of incel jokes, very unfortunately). And just overall awkward.

But I dunno, maybe one day Eddie can make his place as a rogue that's both threatening, and respected.

i actually DO have a longfic conceptualized of main/canon mc!elsey's storyline. i also have a shitload of aus/alternate storylines/one-off concepts that i really enjoy but i wanna ramble about canon elsey

it's hard for me to decide like,,, how promiscuous i want them to be bc on one hand YES GIMME ALL THE BOYS but on the other,,, that sweet delicious one-on-one intimacy hhh.

they start out pretty reasonably upset by the whole devildom exchange program thing in general.

elsey's arc as a whole contains a lot of questions about the morality of the exchange program, and specifically, the lack of checks on diavolo's power.

throughout the story, as they gain confidence that they're not about to be immediately killed for mouthing off, they challenge diavolo on many an occasion, and in general tend to be his harshest critic.

this is mostly bc they do believe he is genuinely good and has the capacity to be the person he wants to think he is - but he needs to get actually chewed out when he does something wrong instead of walking away guilt free.

a big part of their dynamic is that elsey is lowkey grooming him to become an ideal leader, and diavolo is going to get very hung up on them because he doesn't want to disappoint them.

no one else shows disappointment in him, not in a way that matters. but with elsey, it feels real, like he's failed his dreams.

anyways in the main story. i think asmo is actually the one elsey gets with intimately first. he's super affectionate and bubbly and it's just very easy to love someone so sweet, plus, he CAN show them a good time. a really good time. (plus spa nights,, painting nails,, all the sweet little indulgences).

it's ironic because elsey won't build a relationship with him really, and although they'll get very affectionate and fond of him, he's just not what they want in a partner.

mammon is the sidekick he always is. elsey can read the room and it's not hard to figure out how he feels, but they're content to let him be all cute and tsuntsun.

ultimately though, although i do ship them in some aus, mammon is really just there to be their best friend. so elsey ALWAYS has someone they know is on their side, and to keep them from feeling completely and utterly alone in the first part of the story.

i know i have one scene imagined of elsey climbing into his bed, completely platonically, just to feel safe for a bit. i really do play up the danger/dark aspects of season 1 and elsey has a hard time :(

later on, as elsey gets Into It with lucifer (and not in the sexy way - he is very much straight up threatening their life and meaning it), they do get involved with satan, who is extremely their type.

this relationship starts out pretty shallow, but it's very good sex. they appreciate one another as people and elsey is probably catching feelings but for satan this really isn't that deep, he's just enjoying getting one over his brother and having a good time with a like-minded partner.

elsey refuses a pact with satan much like canon mc does, for mostly the same reason; they feel a real bond with him and they don't want to let him bind himself to them for such a casual and petty reason. they're genuinely trying to respect him and be good to him.

ofc satan takes it wrong and lucifer comes into the rescue and the arc continues as normal, and elsey and satan really bond on that nice juicy deep and intimate level. they both have Issues, okay?

but elsey becomes more distant bc their issues with the lucifer+belphie situation start really coming to a head and they're genuinely scared for their life.

they don't trust any of the brothers to be on their side, not even mammon. they're still scoping out diavolo, but they suspect he'd toss his morals aside if his precious lucifer needed him to.

a lot goes down around the lesson 16 stuff. it happens differently dksjhfglg i'll just put it like that, and elsey is much more involved in belphie's escape than mc gets to be in canon.

their relationship with all the brothers gets a lot WORSE from there. i've contemplated an amnesia arc here and there after it, it's that bad.

season 2 kinda consists of the brothers trying to win elsey back. belphie and lucifer's pacts were offered to make them feel safe and didn't actually solve the hard feelings between them.

lucifer and elsey have sexual tension/mind games going on between them HARD in season one. like, really hard.

elsey is doing their best to play on his flaws for their survival, but doesn't know him that well, and he wants to keep his brother secret but can't just kill them.

after everything's wrapped up, ofc, lucifer ends up feeling extremely guilty about it, but Pride and all, etc., plus his relationship with elsey is too volatile for an apology.

season 2 is the one where they start to get closer bc lucifer is willing to be honest or direct, and the finale allows him to display how he really, genuinely does care about them. more than his brothers, even.

like just imagining,,, how they get together is a surreal thing in my head bc i actually do ship them very much, luci is a fave and Big OTP material, but...

they're both really prideful people. lucifer is more mature - he's able to put aside his pride and take a rejection pretty gracefully - but i prefer a more erratic elsey who's like,,, almost a tsundere

if it were anyone but lucifer, they would never even consider forgiving the threats to their life. but they admire him so much; he has so many traits they look up to and enjoy, and on some level they do know they really crave his presence and attention.

elsey WOULD be prone to having hatesex with him lmao (they've probably done it with satan or asmo once or twice) but lucifer wouldn't because he doesn't want to poison the potential for a real relationship.

perhaps after a long period of groveling and displays of affection and him even getting one over on them here and there bc of course he does - elsey will relent,, bc like satan they are extremely attracted to him.

But I like YuKan and SouNao, but I wouldn't be really into an OT3 with them (unless neither Kanji nor Naoto were like romantically involved with each other). I'm not....really of fan of SouYo (blame the SL and blame Yosuke's arc, I feel like the way his SL goes he'd be regressing in growth with making Souji a rebound/replacement goldfish on top of that and I just don't vibe with it). I don't like YukiChie ("Wow Silly, you hate all the big LGBT!P4 ships" Yeah. They left a bad taste in my mouth, except NaoRise.....tho y'all love to shove one unappealing ape in the middle of my decent yuri ship don't you? >_>), mostly cause it puts Chie in the "prince" role which kinda.....plays into her whole femininity issues and I think can harm her......which tbh you can break down my issues of those 3 big ships being "it hurts the development/writing of the character in some way" which ironically can only happen with those ships because of the events of how things have played out). I like NaoRise, I like KanRise but fuck if I like them all together. I don't like SouRise (I don't get why she latches onto him so much. Yukiko and Chie? Can't be attracted to a bear and they know Yosuke so I can see it, it's not that in your face tbh. Naoto? Social link gives the reasoning there. Marie? Same as Naoto. Lord knows why Rise latched onto Yu except he's the best looking guy? With SEES (might as well include them) I do not ship Yukari with anyone (except maybe crack ship her with Junpei for their own dismay..... or Hamu on certain days, then again Hamu is my shipping bicycle). And Junpei I only ship with Chidori or Fuuka (he at least showed interest with Fuuka prior to Chidori, but JunpeixMC/FeMC is similar to Yosuke above with it most likely hurting his growth). I absolutely detest Yukari with Mitsuru (I'll ship Mitsuru with MC/FeMC/Kikuno/Aki/literally anyone who is better than Yukari get yourself a gal/guy who WON'T slap you at your lowest girl you deserve soooo much better ;w;). I don't ship Ken with anyone besides Makoto N/Haru (same age purposes of course), for obvious reasons. Same with Koro....for obvious reasons. I don't ship Aki/Shinji together (their personas are literally brothers and I just.....don't see a romance with them.....maybe it's cause I'm not super used to Yaoi but...like...*glances at MC/Ryoji* I can see that tho....). I only ship Aki with Mitsuru, Chie, and training (I really dislike his romance with the FeMC, the sister thing felt icky and I hate how you have to convince him). Fuuka I vibe with MC/FeMC/Junpei/Natsuki (probably the only char that has a "best friend" I ship them with, I don't like Y*kiChie, Y*kaMitsu, and I like pics of AnneShiho, I don't really ship them..... maybe due to lack of screen time? But regardless something hits different about Fuuka/Natsuki and it's probably because it's the better Y*kaMitsu sorry I don't make the rules, actual genuine friendship and apology here guys blame the writers for screwing over the other and making FuuNatsu the best, and blame the writers for not showing them more u_u).

Anne and Haru are more my shipping bicycles for this, tho I don't really ship Makoto with anyone besides Ken/Goro atm (I don't mind seeing MakoHaru tho, hate ShuMako and I'm not a big fan of MakoAnne......mostly cause I get similar YukaM*tsu vibes for toxic levels). Haru I ship with MC/Ryuji/Goro pretty hardcore (I can easily ship her with Anne too at times). I do like PegoRyu, and I like ShuAnne, and I like the PegoRyuAnne OT3 (I can probs OT3 MCAnneHaru or OT4 PegoRyuAnneHaru but that's for the PT, maybe add Sumi into one or all of the 3 combos but eh), I do not like RyuAnne tho (they feel too bro-ish and state pretty clearly they don't like each other that way, but I can see a vibe going if it was an OT3 tbh). MC it's mostly Ryuji/Anne/Haru/Sumi. I guess Futaba/Yusuke but I don't really care it's a pair the spares (maybe it's like Yukari and Junpei, I wanna see their dismay). I really don't like Sh*Taba, mostly cause, like Yosuke, it felt like it'd hurt her growth (mostly cause in her case her CoOp raised BIG red flags that made me squirm, something I didn't really see with Sumi) Goro is just with Sumi (if I'm not heavily BrOTPing them tbh), I highly dislike Sh*Ake (Like Yukari and Mitsuru, I cannot buy a friendship between them). Mona can eat a boot.

I tried censoring some ships so they don't appear in the tags but eh (it's under a read more so it should be safe? Hopefully? I tried). As you can see I'm a multishipper (that's not even going into my crossover ships, tbh I feel like I probs forgot a couple), and I like straight, yaoi, and yuri (obvie I rep more of the rarepair LGBT P4 ships 8U). I just have a certain preferences when it comes to the ships I guess? Give me a ship and I can either tell why I like/love it, why I hate it, or why I'm either "meh I vibe" or "meh I don't really vibe" or "I feel nothing" (I guess that's an open invitation but eh).
