carmen interviews a new girl for the recent waitressing job at the bear, and she's been the recent reason for his journal entries the past two weeks.

"Chef i need you to take over for at least an hour, i got an interview in 10." Carmen instructed Sydney, walking into the office as the kitchen staff began to prepare for open. The staff- mainly Sydney, Richie, and Carmen desperately needed a waiter in house. With how busy the restaurant was beginning to get they needed more than Nat out there.

"Are you gonna hire her?" Sydney asked; Carmen had briefed her about the applicant a day prior. He sat down, refreshing himself on the resume before meeting with her.

"Well she's the only applicant so far, so I don't really think I have a choice chef," before he could finish his thought he heard the chime of the entrance door. Glancing down at the time it read 10:51.

Early, off to a good start, he said to himself quietly. He gave one puff of cologne on his neck to try and musk the smell of kitchen before going out into the front of house to start the interview. Carmen forgot how to breathe for just a few seconds when he saw her- easily the most beautiful person he's seen walk in his restaurant.

"Um- Hi I'm Carmen Berzatto, the owner, you must be Y/N?" He introduces through a deep breath and a shaky hand that he extends. She takes it with a smile, following his lead. The soft taps of her high top converse against the tile floor, the flow of her skirt twirling as she turns in front of him slightly. It's exhilarating.

"Can I get you something to drink before we start? Water, a soda, coffee?" He offers, standing tall next to the table side. She grins and shakes her head denying his offer, her sweet sounding voice making butterflies flutter around in his stomach. That hasn't happened in a while.

They make small talk for a little while, Carmen asking pre-thought out ice breakers before getting to the real questions. But if he's honest with himself he isn't even listening to her answers. He's too focused on the way her lips move and how she purses her lips when she thinks about an answer.

He's taken great notice of the tattoos she has on her arms, in similar places to his own, all black outlined like his too. one is written in french, he assumes, right above her wrist on her arm. One is two small birds on the inside of her forearm. He wants to pause the interview just to talk about what they all mean to her. Partially because he wants to hear her voice for the rest of his life. He wants to press record on his phone and listen to her talk about whatever she wants to, her voice is that angelic.

"Can I ask you what the tattoo on your hand means?" she asked and he thought he was going to faint because she grabbed ahold of his hand gently to get a better look at it. She giggled when she got a better look at the artwork.

"It's to remind me to be careful when I chop vegetables, essentially," Carmen explained with a chuckle. "What does the one on your wrist mean?"

"Terre à terre, down to earth. I dont want to stray too far from who I was raised to be, so that's a reminder. I also have a couple more in french- my grandmother was french so I have a lot of french things in my life." She pulls up the sleeve of her shirt to reveal another tattoo, "étoile filante, shooting star. The first time I saw a shooting star was on my sixteenth birthday, my worst birthday actually."

He reminded himself to close his mouth because he knew he was about to start drooling, hearing the way her silky voice sounded even better in a foreign language.

He breezed through the interview, Natalie insisting that even though there are no other applicants and she'll probably get the job, do it the right way. "I'll give you a call by the end of the week, Y/N. It was a pleasure having you today." He shows her out of the restaurant, walking her to her car for safety, of course."

When Carmen got back inside, before he got to joining the team in prepping for the lunch crowd he pulled out his journal that he started to carry with him. It was full of various things: different dinner ideas to try out on the menu for a special, addresses, phone numbers, and other journal entries. he's made a habit of journal three times a week and he has a feeling he's going to be doing it a lot more with Y/N joining the team.

I could eat that girl for lunch. She smelled sweet like fuckin brownies or something, rich and delicious. Her tattoos, her gold necklaces, her smile, her skirt. I feel like a perv but god i know her skin would be so soft, and she'd have the best blind reactions to recipes, and i bet she'd taste good too. I'm closing the applications, this Y/N chick is gonna be the death of me.

"Hi Y/N, this is Carmen from The Bear, how're you?" he couldn't even wait a full 24 hours before he hired her. Embarrassing. "I just wanted to call and let you know that we're offering you the job if you are still interested." He bit the cap of his pen with a grin hearing her cheer and laugh on the other side of the phone. "Yea- yeah that's great, listen could you start Monday? I'll get you trained n'all that."

Carmen ends the phone call and moves some papers around on his desk, printing the papers for Y/N and putting them in her folder. He couldn’t stop grinning like a kid from hearing her excited voice over the phone.

Instantly he’s thinking of a million things to write in his journal about her. But he doesn’t have time, he needs to prep the special for tonights dinner service before anything else. Carmen will be thinking of her, however. Thinking of how soft her hands must be, or how sweet her chapstick tastes. He'll think of how it'll be nice to have her around, not just the help but to have someone with a softer tone around the place, too.

He thinks about Y/N while making glaze, mixing everything together to get that perfect spicy honey taste, he's imagining how her face lights up when she laughs. He doesn't even really know her yet but he's already making up what a first date would be like. He'd take her out for coffee, go see a movie, then go for a walk. But not too late, though. Even if she might be a night owl it's still inappropriate to keep a girl out past ten, at least that's what he read in some magazine a long time ago.

"Chef you ready to prep the team for tonight?" Sydney asked, interrupting his thoughts. He stumbled, dropping the spoon into the bowl and biting his tongue.

"Fuck- yeah, yeah I am."

"'M gonna go over the menu with you, if m'goin too fast then stop me." He pulls up a chair and tucks his hair behind his ears. Setting the laminated piece of paper in front of her, explaining each dish to her in firm detail. Carmen watches as her french tip acrylic nails trace along the menu, guiding along the words that he says from memory.

She's impressed, shocked even that he came up with this himself. She jokes that she can't cook and it gains a laugh from him.

"I'll teach you a few things, if ya want." He didn't mean for it to come out sounding like he was hitting on her...but secretly he was. Since when was he that slick with words?

I can't stop thinking about her. She's on my mind all the fuckin' time. She smelled really good, must have been her shampoo. I would love to just sit with her there, not sexually. Just be. I bet she's really calm and chill. I'd love to get ready with her in the mornings, again not sexually. To spend time, to laugh, to talk. I could eat that girl for lunch.

When Carmen walks into the front he catches Y/N taking pictures in the mirror by the entrance. He chuckles, watching her pose and smile. She turns around and gasps, cheeks getting darker when she realizes she's gotten caught.

"Sorry, the mirror is just so aesthetic."

"That? Um, okay? Guess we have different opinions of what aesthetic is." Carmen guides her to the back counter, teaching her how to count inventory of everything.

He feels out of place- no, he feels gross when he watches her bend down. He sees a peek of white lace stick out from the band of her jeans and he knows he shouldn't stare, but he can't help his mind from wandering. He wanders about what other types of underwear she might have, if she has any special ones, what they'd feel like wrapped-

"Carmen!" Sydney snaps him out of his daydream. "Sorry to interrupt, but you have a phone call from the AC guy." He's pulled away, for the better, but he knows he's going to write about this as soon as he gets the chance.

I'm interested in more than just being her boss. I could eat her alive, i'd let her take a seat on me wherever she wants for however long she wants. She'd taste like....like sweet watermelons on a sunny summer day. Yeah, something like that. She can't be real can she? I don't know how long I can keep acting professional. I just know she'd be the one for me.

Episode 2. ; Dinner with the Neighbors ... Previous || Show List || Next

Checking your phone, you notice that it’s already been about ten minutes since you’ve been in the bathroom. If you stay any longer your parents are bound to get suspicious which means that you’ll probably get a lecture. Something you want to severely avoid.

If you were being honest with yourself you really did expect dinner not to go too well, but the thought applied to your whole family; not only to you. Conversations were seemingly lively except for the one with the boy sitting across from you which was very, very dead. You had both tried to start conversations but honestly nothing really stuck. You’re sure that if your parents weren’t there it would have gone better but that doesn’t change the fact that it wasn’t working out. 

Yet right as you think that dinner couldn’t get any worse the topic of comparison had landed right into both mom’s palms. This made things even more awkward for you and the older kid Suna, who you know as Rintarou now, who were already struggling to talk. How do you even talk to someone easier if your moms are asking you to tutor him and your mom is asking him to teach you to let loose. One answer: you can't. 

It ended up getting way too awkward for you to handle to the point where running away was your best bet. That means the bathroom was the perfect place to go. Which is where you are now.

Letting out a fairly deep sigh, you stare at yourself in the mirror before smacking your cheeks. Get your head into focus YN. It’s time to face the world. 

OH SHIT. Eyes widening and trying to hold back a deep breath, you feel your soul jump out of your body. Why was Suna Rintarou leaning on the wall outside of the bathroom door and why did he seem just as spooked at you. “I- Ahem. Why are you standing outside the bathroom?” Your arms are crossed at this point and you have an eyebrow raised, eyes looking him up and down. But maybe that was a bad idea because now you could finally take in him, and the situation, but mainly him. And his- stop.

“Well, whenever we have people over I usually show them to the bathroom and then wait for them so I can lead them back to the dining room but…” The black haired boy takes a pause and takes a good look at you before putting on an annoying smirk “someone decided to take ten minutes in the bathroom.” Ooh! The nerve of this boy. Huffing, you give back a very passive aggressive smile. What the hell was his problem? Were all damn middle blockers like this?! Right as you’re about to reply though he pushes himself off the wall and starts walking back to the living room. “Oh, ln-san, by the way your mom was right, you are smart. Maybe next time don’t wait in the bathroom for so long though.”  Ahaha. Actually die Suna Rintarou. You wanted to shove that stupid look off his face. Thank god you wouldn't have to fraternize with him too much though. Right...? Maybe not.

As you walk our of the door of the Suna household, your phone feels heavy as his contact was already in your phone.

Woohoo!! -> I really couldn't decide whether to end the chapter after the writing portion but i feel like what i added worked fine -> Bro i hate writing the word smirked but knowing Suna bro does that shit often -> There there yn, i would get pissed off from Suna too -> Suna was actually waiting outside of the bathroom for 10 minutes scrolling on like idk tiktok -> His mom asked him why he waited for her since that wasn't something he normally did and his reply was a shrug and a "just felt like it" -> yn did not avoid the lecture and got one on politeness when they got home except her dad said "you shouldn't be shitting in other peoples bathrooms." she could not leave her room after that -> Theres two Nekoma closets and one of them is abandoned bc it was "haunted" and i really wanted to include that in this chapter and who better to get stuck in a closet that bokuto and kuroo -> Also im thinking about adding kuroo and kenma bc there isnt enough people here

actually I paused the episode to write the bullet point above and I haven't unpaused yet bc i'm just Thinking it's like, I don't wanna get too oversharing, and I don't think I've ever talked A Lot about the ways in which I like. have the Active Experience of being autistic beside just "wow wild that I just got diagnosed at 30+ years old" and "kinda sad that I can't ever go to a wrestling show live bc it would be overwhelming" but even besides the like. more often talked abt symptoms of autism, while reflecting on it I realized how much this has Always rly influenced my behavior and as a result, how people have treated me. like, it's bad! i'm like!! not/barely a bad at being a person!! like, it makes me behave deeply Weird in ways i even like, Get are off-putting! but the resulting treatment has in turn also influenced me to the point that I was so sure that there's just something deeply and fundamentally Wrong with me that a) I wished I was a robot at like age 13, b) for a while I was sure I was living in some weird simulation/experiment, and c) when I got the diagnosis, I didn't dare to actually apply it to myself for like about a year bc i thought I had cheated my way into getting an excuse for how there's smth wrong with me somehow. and ok this did get oversharing for sure, but I this is just Such an exciting episode for me. it's terrible and i'm stressed and anxious in a very real and genuine way while listening, but it's also kind of cathartic the way fiction can be in such a fun and entertaining way. just. rly good choice of game to show that border interrogation. (which! what I just talked about is just abt my experience with being autistic. that doesn't even get into how tense I've instinctly been every time I crossed a border and how that's NOTHING bc i'm white and swiss)

Tsuzuru: As one would expect from him, Masumi’s a careful driver, so there’s no need to worry.

last summer was my most unexpected event in my life and a special someone came into my life… she’s— very. very. special to me. and today marks our first year together.. a whole year! so this episode marks it very special because..

i’m going to be talking about my top three favourite memories i’ve had with her, aaall from my perspective… since five seems too many— but i think three’s the perfect number.. do you guys have a favourite number? anyway, this episodes only for her so if you don’t like sap…

⊹ » number one — the conversation we had after our first kiss. in my mind, it felt like i was going crazy.. even if it was only for a few seconds when it happened. i guess that’s when it hit me that i realized you were all mine in that second and from then on, yknow? so much things went on in my head.. but i’m happy we talked about it, i like how we both weren’t scared since we knew eachother; and i mean really knew eachother.. the different smiles we have for each different types of happy, the way i can read your eyes with every mood you had- especially when to make a joke and when not to make a joke.. and when i need to make a joke—

(a smile grows while he talks and he takes a pause to look down at the paper on the desk to push it away)

it feels liberating to know someone and have them know me inside and out, our souls are so intertwined that it shocks me everytime, i bet they knew eachother in some other life, don’t you think? i swear joo, whenever you laugh it’s like you’re scaring all the bad thoughts away in my head. it’s one of my favourite things about you, also how when you smile you have to move your eyebrows up too.. and when your face goes blank, you look like a clueless kid and it makes me smile instead..

⊹ » number two — when you reassured me when i was at my lowest that whole time frame felt like i was being sucked into a black hole and it felt so bad.. it felt horrible to talk about these things even when it seemed so little. for some reason, it felt shaming to be myself and i let it get to me, it still doesn’t click with me how out of all people you chose me and you kept choosing me every single day joo. i think that was the time where i realized that i was truly, deeply in love with you.. i love you so dearly and you’re the most precious thing to me— i love how silly we get when things get hard and it lifts everything off my shoulders.. you’re so comfortable to be with, i don’t ever wanna go anywhere when i’m with you, but go more together in the future.. pfft- just me, you, milo and circe and maybe i know this for sure maybe, just a few plus ones or something..

(he covers his face while yelling into his hands while gulping down a laugh)

i’ll shut up on that part, maybe. jusssttt maybe. on the note of the last one though..

⊹ » number three — circe and milo playing in the snow ah yes, those days where you were getting the bag while i got locked in the basement for a few actions… eugh. i didn’t expect it on my bingo card either, but that happened! i kinda felt useless in that period too, but when i sent you the video of them tackling in snow and jumping around, all that stuff and see you look so fond of it, it made me realize how proud i felt for the both of us. we really were happy with eachother.. i saw it in the sparkle of your eyes and when and how you woke me up in the middle of the night to tell me that. you have no idea how much you mean to me in general and I would give anything and do everything to show you that any and everyday.. just look at how i'm going insane at ten pm in our living room while recording this?

(he looks away from the mic to look at the papers, smiling and chuckling to himself)

it's been an official three hundred and sixty-six days since we've officially been together and it's been the best thing in my life through the hectic things, especially lately joo.. thank you for all the lessons, the laughs, the smiles, the memories and the ones we'll make even more, your hand that holds mine and the heart i get to keep with me forever. same time again next year? aaand every other year? more cats? pfft.. i love you honey, more than anything and everything... don't tell mark!

By the sound of it they were just workers. But knowing Hydra they were most likely armed with pistols and it'd be hard keeping four bodies from bullets

So the best option was to wait for the right momment.

It was Steve's quick thinking that got you out the elevator to begin with, using the hydra container to stop the door from closing as everyone quickly slid through the crack.

You pulling Steve by his feet before he could get crushed to death.

Now you had a shit ton of walking to do.

Like a shit load.

You stayed infront of the group, armed at the ready with Steve's small pocket knife.

"Would you look at you."

She jumped the railing following the group close in tail, ramming into one of the soilders with a better gun.

"Thats mine now!" Y/n shouted hitting it across the second soilders face causung him to go down.

She turned around shooting at the soilders rushing at her while cautiously running backwards, downing a few before she took off once again.

"Y/n!" Steve shouted, "hurry!"

"Im going!" Y/n shouted jumping over the small set of steps before turning around, shooting just a few more bullets, the gun empty again.

"OH THESE GUNS SUCK COME ON HYDRA!" Y/n shouted before rushing towards soilders using as a Melee weapon, before dropping it and pulling out Steve's pocket knife.

"Y/n!"

"Go! Now!" Y/n ordered.

Steve and Robin watching her threw the window on the door, superhero pose and all, nothing but a pocket knife in her hand as soilders rushed at her.

Within a few seconds she downed atleast five more of them, using themselves against each other, but with how many flooded in at once, she was beat, kicked, shot at and went to the ground within the next mintue: shouting for the group to run as she fought back even in captivaty.

But they manage to stop you by knocking you out

Because Hydra has no class.

When you woke up, you found yourself in a cage, surrounded by a binding circle.

"Ugh..." she groaned.

There was a noise: a growl? Maybe not, maybe a gargle?

She looked to the side, "Oh. Hey. They got you too,"

It hummed and bubbled.

A few hums, blurbs and grunts in response.

You used the bars to help you to your feet leaning it against it as you used it as support to walk looking for anything.

The binding circle too far for you to reach over and simply swipe at and ruin.

And with your new cellmate you were shit out of luck on most things.

But before you could really try anything, two soilders came in with there Lutenit

"I demand to talk to Zeemo!" Y/n shouted at the commander.

"Zeemo has no weight and is a scum to us."

"Fuck." Y/n mummbled looking back at Ted, "Im shit out of ideas."

"I will ask you once." He spoke, careful to keep outside the bidding circle.

"Which Avenger sent you."

"None." Y/n argued, "Your mother did. And shit did she suck my fat fucking dick like no tommrow!"

A gun shot rang off as Y/n was shot in the leg, she growling in pain but kept standing up.

"Fury must have sent you-"

"Fuck you!" Y/n shouted.

"Zeemo prehaps?!"

Another shot to the leg, she crumbling against the ground hands still on the bar.

"Do you hear that?" The Lutenit asked, taking a step closer, "You're friends?"

"Fuck!" There was a cry, they in a near by room, she could hear it threw the vent.

Y/n was slient, as she kept her head down the Lutient taking another step closer, he would be rewarded highly, capturing both spies and a long term enemy. Y/n's grip tightened on the bar as he took another long stride.

"Who is the cock sucker now?"

Y/n reached out grabbing him by the belt slamming into the bars, "You!"

Y/n grabbed his gun quickly shooting him and falling back to aim at the other two just as quick, downing the three.

"Fuck..." she sighed pulling at the soilders foot bringing him closer so y/n could grab his keys as she quickly got up and made it to the locked cage door.

"You comin?" She asked opening it as Ted got up, "yeah. Come on. We're blood buddies now."

He followed her carefully, she grabbing stuff off the soilders to tie her leg off.

Ted was gentleman enough to even tie them off as a thank you.

Peaking your head out you dont see anyone, but as soon as you do an alarm goes off.

So you and a Giant Swamp Monster named Ted are on the hunt for your friends and quick too, rushin to find your friends you tried the first door, it already open and you could hear laughing.

"Haha! Henderson!"

Y/n opened the door quickly.

"And Y/n! Haha!" Steve laughed as she walked in.

"Y/n!" Dustin cheered, cutting the bindings on the two, Ted following her inside causing them all to scream.

"Hey! Hey!" She shouted, "Ted! This is Ted! He's cool! He's with me! They wanted him to eat me but we're chill! Right Ted?!"

He nodded as they just looked at the two.

"Well?! Come on!" Y/n shouted rushing them all along.

You manage to lead them all path free of Russain soilders till you turn a corner and there's both screaming.

Turns out Ted had a rescue party coming consisting of one man.

Luckily Ted can stop you before you go full fighter on the poor dude.

"Again?" He asked Ted, "and ropping people into it now?"

Ted grumbled.

"Okay. Obviously your friends." Y/n smiled at the two, "but if you'd like to stay that way we should oh. Run!"

Turns out Dustin knabbed on of there vechiles and your having to basically pick Steve and Robin up into it, you drive, because honestly you don't trust anyone else. Along with the new comer in the front.

"Im Jack!" He introduced holding out a hand for a hand shake.

"Are you seriously introducing yourself right now?!" Y/n argued driving as fast as she could.

"Right sorry!"

Y/n looked to the side: "Im Y/n!"

You manage to get everyone to the Elevator and rush everyone inside.

And in the elevator its even worse.

Steve and Robin joking around, playing.

"Its like Im-"

"Surfing!" They both cheered.

Ted looked at Y/n, "I swear there both usually way better than this."

She watched Steve fall and tumble over, Y/n walking over to him.

"Hey! Steve!" Y/n shouted.

"Y/n?"he asked, "what are you doin here?"

"They seem drunk." Erica argued.

"Why would they be drunk."

"Steve-"

"Boop." He poked her on the nose, "Hey- when did you get here Y/n?"

"His pupils are dilated." She spoke, "not drunk but drugged."

You told Jack to stay there and keep an Eye on Robin and Steve while you and Dustin went up to try and radio the group.

Turns out Dustin ran the battery pretty dry, but he managed to get back to the group, barely able to hear or register anything.

"Hey!" Jack spoke rushing in the room with Erica.

"There gone."

"What?!" Y/n argued getting up and looking for the two in the crowd, "shit..."

You all went on the hunt for them, but you ended up falling, Jack luckily catching you.

"Ah. Your bleeding-"

"No shit I got shot atleast twice."

He helped you along to a bathroom, sitting you on the counter you groaned, adrenaline starting to wear thin.

He pulled out a little pocket med kit, he must get in alot of shit problems if he carries one around.

He rolled undid the binding you hand on them and rolled up your pants leh and took a look at them.

"It didn't go threw..." he spoke.

"You have tweazers in there?" Y/n asked.

"Uh. Yes." Jack spoke holding them out for her she taking off her belt bitting down on it.

She lifted her leg to rest on the counter.

Taking a deep breathe she dug the tweazers in eyebrows knitting in pain as her face became hot, pulling the first bullet out. Jack even had to look away from the gruesome act, his own eyebrows knitting as he griminced in disgust. She tossed the bullet in the sink to quickly get the second and within the next mintue she had the second out. Pulling her belt from her mouth she sighed in relief.

"Could you?"

"Yeah- Yes. Of course." He spoke.

You watched him disinfect and clean the wound and surronding area.

It was quiet between you two, until he spoke up and thanked you for saving his friend.

"He gets in trouble quiet a lot." He chuckled, "this way Is...quiet new."

Y/n chuckled, "Im always in trouble it seems..."

"Your a midnight son." He spoke, Y/n looking up from the work being done on her leg, "You work with Marc Spector."

Y/n nodded, "how do you know that."

He shrugged, "Lets just say we've fought before."

"Your the wearwolf." Y/n cut in he looking up, "I remember the markings."

He nodded, looking down at his work, "We had quiet the moment back then."

Jack laughed, "calling falling to our deaths is hardly considered a moment."

Y/n chuckled, "I'll take what I can get, one of the better memories...especially as of recent."

He stiched her leg up carefully, "We have to stop running into each other this way-"

Y/n winced, "Im sorry." He apologized quickly.

"Are you alright?" He asked a hand resting on her shoulder.

Y/n nodded, "I'll be fine. Thanks..."

Y/n watched the skin close up on the first stitch, he moving onto the second hole.

As he stitched you up, you both contuined to talk, as if you were old buddies catching up

He had a contagious smile, and a sweet heart

To be honest you feel bad for almost killing him that one time.

You didnt expect the conversation to get so deep either: he telling you what he did as the "other" side of him wasnt really him.

"I mean. I like this side. But the other side was kinda fluffy," y/n defended, causing him to laugh.

"And you? Do you have an other side?" He chuckled.

Y/n thought for a mintue, "I don't know. Not like you atleast. Not that I know of."

"No?" He asked, "arent we all animal in some way? We all have something itching."

Y/n chuckled, "If Im an animal Im one uncapable of happiness."

"Why say that? You're lovely. Besides the almost killing me."

"I almost let myself be happy...with Steve. With my dad."

"But?"

"But I always have to do the "bigger" thing, save the world, save this save that." Y/n spoke, "I dont mind it. I don't. Really. Its fun even sometimes, I just...end up missing people after there not on the feild anymore but rather in it."

Jack cleaned her stiches one last time, and wrapped her leg in gauze, "sounds like to me like you need to save yourself."

He finished off her bandages tying them off and tucking the loose ends in, "or. You need to be saved. Just once."

"Reinvention?" Y/n asked.

"No." He spoke, "Heal yourself before you Heal others. Doesnt have to be while in battle, but off the feild."

"Mentally?"

He nodded.

He made a good point: maybe you need mental healing.

Dustin busted through the door and the others followed.

"Okay look. It doesn't take that long to bandage a wound. Y/n stop flirting." Dustin argued.

"What-"

"We need to go!" Erica argued.

"We go out the front, circle round and grab Ted." Dustin explained.

"Why not just go through the Theater?"

"Because its closed." Dustin explained.

"Come on."

So both you and Jack got up and walked towards the group, you all poking your head out looking to see the last group from the theater leaving.

And quickly all join to blend in with the group.

You blended pretty easy, you and Jack especilaly keeping your head down.

"Turn around." Robin argued.

"They're here." She told, "the russians."

The group looked at rhe man checking IDs, he turning towards them.

"Shit gotta go!" Y/n told, "go!"

The group ran away, sliding down between the escalators quickly.

And out of all places in the food court,

You slowly peaked over the counter, the group following you.

He smiled and looked up to the second floor.

It was indeed a good sight, the heros y/n had lost track of? All together: beat up? Oh for sure, but together and intact.

You barely could hold your ground as Peter and Kate almost tackled you down in a hug.

"We thought you were a goner!" Kate told.

"No kidding! We looked everywhere for you then ran into Mr.Stark-"

it's star trek update time. last night we watched ds9's "profit and loss" and tng's "genesis."

profit and loss (ds9):

i was EATING! what an amazing episode. even though there was lots of quark and he's not normally my favorite

entire section with quark on his knees begging or whatever. that post thats like "gay people never flirt normally it's always shit like this"

my favorite part was that, in spite of all quark's begging and bribery, odo was like "yeah no i was gonna disobey orders anyway bc justice. this was fun though thanks" like my absolute KING and best friend odo startrek.

also, odo's complete and total disdain for the idea of romance........please. he's SOMEWHERE on the ace and/or aro spectrum. idk where but he is

AND GARAK! i'm sad he only had one conversation with bashir but i was so excited to see him and find out even a little bit more about him. i was like aw cm,on hes harmless hes just a little guy hes a gay little tailor and then they strongly implied he used to be an assassin and i had to pause the episode bc i got lightheaded

at first i didnt understand the end...like he informed on them and was gonna kill them to get back to cardassia and then just RANDOMLY changed his mind? but he told you what he was gonna do in his very first scene. it's loyalty to the state before loyalty to loved ones - or, yes, even the self. his 180 was a little abrupt, but i totally got it once i thought about it. the depth of the love he has for a place that ??? tossed him out ??? i guess? is pretty amazing

my only real complain about this episode was that they fumbled quark a little. that episode where he was in a quasi-romance with that cross-dressing ferengi actually gave us a good set-up - he does have a soul/conscience/whatever and IS capable of caring about other people, even more more than he cares about his assets (like the bar) - in both this episode and that one, he was perfectly willing to throw away the bar for a love interest. but in that other episode, he wasn't willing to live and be with that other ferengi unless she conformed to HIS idea of how women should be. in this one, he was briefly entertaining the idea of throwing away his entire life to go fight this lady's cause with her (which i don't think he could have followed through with), but absolutely nobody brought up "if you love her you have to give her agency and let her do what she wants ie leave" or at the VERY least "it's creepy/selfish to try and blackmail her into more or less marrying you." like, no, you don't need to spoonfeed the audience, WE know it's creepy, but her students going "yeah no let her stay!" was bonkers. and then when he did let her leave (and decided not to go with her even though he'd offered to do that earlier) it was just because he...had no choice?

idk, i feel like "quark sold food to starving bajorans even though it was illegal" does a LOT to humanize him, and in a GREAT way because plausibly he could go "yeah well the bajorans had money and i like money" to deny he has a conscience or whatever. AND IT WAS A THROWAWAY LINE. meanwhile he spent half this episode being creepy to this poor cardassian lady and it kind of undoes all that...? i'm not saying i DON'T want quark to be selfish and secretly a goody two-shoes, but i do want him to care about SOMETHING in a way that's like, if not totally unselfish, at least in a manner that has depth. "i like this lady so i want her to stay here forever and forget logic and also whatever she wants" is pretty much the least complex kind of romance you could give him. it works as a STARTING point, but if the endpoint is him just letting her leave because he quite literally has no choice, there wasn't much of a point to any of it plotwise, even if his non-sexist antics were extremely fun to watch in this episode

if spot transformed into an iguana right as she was finished giving birth to her kittens and they were a day old when data and picard found them, that means those newborn kittens did not eat for a full 24 hours and picard and data left them in data's quarters without feeding them or caring for them at all, which is perhaps the gravest sin either of them has ever committed

newborn kittens can only last a few hours without nursing - after half a day, they'd all be gone. and SOMEHOW they're still alive even though NO ONE HAS FED THEM and they don't even stop to feed them like we SAW them leave you can't even pretend they just did it offscreen between scenes. like are you kidding

ALSO, spot and all the other cats aboard this fucking spaceship should be fixed??? i hate to accuse my best friend data of being an irresponsible pet parent but there it is :/

i would never take my cats into space. they don't even like car rides. how can you drive this ship into a planet when there are children AND CATS aboard?? i hate tng so deeply

anyway, doing all of that to worf was racist and worf biting deanna in the bath was rapey. no wonder the actors hated worf e deanna almost every single one of their scenes together has been awful. -1000000/10 this might be my least favorite episode of tng i've ever watched

episode 7 thoughts dump (part 1/2)

ok so putting things under a cut again bc spoilers obviously <333

(edited a bit because damn i wrote this on a whim)

OK SO ! most of my predictions are. somewhat correct, if not just misplaced in the wrong areas of the episode

the episode IS centered around rei having to realize that kazuki's role in the house is difficult because he has to take care of so much (laundry, cooking, getting miri ready early and sent off to daycare) so i wasn't wrong about that

this conversation is very nice to listen to as well because the thing of kazuki taking care of almost everything if not everything in the house is finally addressed! and they talk about it! somewhat. to mixed results

and he is doing his best my god he is doing his best you're doing so great you cringefail of a man (/pos) but i'm glad that this episode pushed him to a point where he just realizes he has to help kazuki more

this minute pause spoke to me so much because he was about to yell at her but stopped himself before he could..... amazing little detail

OK. NOW. THE SCENE THAT SPAWNED THIS ENTIRE POST. there must've been some kind of falling out between rei + miri and kazuki because he was screaming "I'm... not your housekeeper!" during dinner i'm suspecting that they finally got on his nerves if they never pick up after themselves properly or just the small stuff piled up onto kazuki and he had enough despite usually not really minding the fact that he has to do most if not all of the house chores but another theory i have is that the scene with the photograph is connected and because of the stress, it leads up to him taking it out on rei and miri. i'm distraught i don't want to see this episode but i have to. mfs gonna have a sk8 episode 7 situation and i'm powerless to stop it

recalling this from the second linked post, they do have some kind of falling out!!! and it does refer to the fact that they don't pick up after themselves!!! (and that they don't try to make it easier for kazuki himself)

the other theory is wrong because the thing with his wife doesn't really come up until karin's in the picture ok no i worded that incorrectly, thank you person who replied under the post

the scene is connected! but it did start off from the start of the episode itself, and his the stress that leads up to him going on strike is just from rei and miri not appreciating what he does enough..... poor unappreciated malewife

but yeah they did end up having a sk8 episode 7 but without them actually arguing in person, kazuki just dipped and left early in the morning

he really said he's not going to be coming back home for a while and they can fend for themselves

and kazuki seems to be on a solo mission, which is probably something rei and miri knows about considering they dont look too panicked by kazuki’s absence (rei looks a little frazzled from the daunting housework chores he has to deal with)

(episode 7 trailer post) ok so the solo part is wrong, but now we do know that rei and miri know that kazuki's out of the house and rei is frazzled by the housework

the day of reckoning has arrived for one suwa rei frfr..... it only took one whole day without kazuki doing things for him to realize

kazuki was nice enough to leave notes around for him so he doesn't get TOO lost trying to prepare miri

this means that since they got miri, he hasn't been going out to fool around in the night life and is at home taking care of miri and rei..... interesting

onto the more meatier part of the episode, THE TRAUMA !!! ill go back to the fluff when we're done here <3333 let's start with rei's since it's the tamer part and since we're on the topic of rei having to experience what it's like to be the sole caretaker of the house for once

he cant cook and doesn't know which plate in the fridge is for eating

this reminds me of the very first episode where kazuki tells rei that he left food in the fridge for him that he didn't eat because it was cold

maybe because kazuki papa wants you two to have a balanced meal !!!! also the laundry left out on the couch.... did kazuki just never fold it?

he does not know her schedule At All (to be fair, so does she in some way but the point stands)

but he does have a calendar that he did not check before leaving probably out of panic

time to nitpick a little at rei's choices with good intentions (he's doing his best but these are Not It fr)

This is the finale. This is SO long I am SO sorry, I live-asked this again because I’ve been loving giving all my thoughts in one place.

“This choreography is no joke” -my FAVORITE mood of drag race episode. I ~love~ choreo/dance/song heavy episodes because that’s my favorite kind of drag. I love when people bring their artistry to it. Watching skinny slay it made me SK happy. She really gave everything I love about these challenges, watching her excel in pray learning the choreo was so beautiful. She’s actually been a joy to watch in that aspect. Jaida too!!!

I liked the conversation of all of them talking about how they’ve grown because we can see through the edits how it’s happened but I like to hear their perspectives and how they support each other through it all. This show is no joke, this show mentally is so taxing, and I love hearing the queens speak so kindly and honestly to each other about what they’ve noticed about each other’s growth and how proud they are of each other.

I loved the choreo, the lyrics were good, but I wish there had been more singing and less rapping. But I think that was the song they were given tbh, it didn’t lend to vocals as much. And I love a vocal queen so I think that swayed my opinion of the performance overall. I do love Gisele. I think they all did well but Gisele just reminds me of my own heritage and listening to relatives speak French growing up so I am 1,000% biased and have been from the beginning, I’ll admit that. I loved Viv and Irma from the jump but Gisele made her way into my heart real fast. She also wore rose gold for that runway? My favorite color?! Man, she really just speaks to me as a person. Her drag is SO in synch with my personal preferences.

Jaida had me crying during those pictures though.

When all the queens come back and they’re talking and then all of a sudden Viv’s like “Irma gerd, heeeey” it gets me, it’s a SUDDEN pivot. It’s the producers being like “hey, here’s what you’ve all missed here.”

I SCREAMED WHEN THEY SAID GISELE OMG MY NEIGHBORS HATE ME. Man, I LOOOVE her. This season gave me Irma and Viv but it also gave me Gisele which I am so thankful for, omg I have been blessed by a literal angel I am crying I am SO happy for her. Whoa. Didn’t expect to scream, didn’t expect to get THIS invested, but I did. I sent a picture of me SOBBING to my best friend as proof that I can’t handle my own emotions but I am SO happy for Gisele that I can’t even handle it.

Anyway, I guess now’s the time that I thank you and your posts for getting me to watch this season. It’s been a real treat to get to see queens I’ve only seen through social media shine through these competitions. I’ve tried to check everything but excuse me if there’s errors in my grammar or spelling it’s been a long week as a preschool teacher and this season recap has been the ultimate wind down activity.

Okay so obviously I was rooting for Gisele, but lowkey I started rooting for Kimmy to win between her slaying that choreo & then her & Icesis!!! It was just so sweet. But the choreo yes omg, Hollywood Jade being impressed was so great

The growth throughout a season is honestly so impressive when you realize it’s actually such a short amount of time that they filmed it versus how long it takes to air. They’re filming an episode in two days usually, they maybe have a weekend off, but they’re going back to back so to be able to so quickly take on those critiques when it’s something they can work on (obviously they can’t change what they brought for their package while they’re there, it’s only in design challenges that they can try to take on those critiques unless they brought back up options that are a different style for the runway categories) is really noteworthy
