Okay Yall... Crossed fandoms between Criminal Minds and SVU.

Being Aaron Hotchner’s daughter didn’t mean a lot. Well, to you. It didn’t mean a lot to you. He was a fun dad that you loved to talk and watch crime documentaries and movies with. While you lived in New York and were a detective with Manhattan’s SVU, he stayed back in Quantico to profile some of America’s worst criminals.

Hotch wasn’t the scary FBI agent he made it seem to be. He had a good poker face when dealing with the worst of the worst but when you got to see him every once in a while, it’s not the Hotch everyone else knows. It was the side only you got to see.

You were young, only 25 making it to the SVU department. You were 21 when you were brought in. Hotch wouldn’t let you stay in Virginia with him so you stayed in New York with your mom’s brother. Your dad didn’t want you to be in harm's way.

You were enjoying a night out on the town with your fiancé, Dominick Carisi. Getting last minute things ready for the wedding. You two had met at a bar in Staten Island and it was about 6 months later when he had transferred to SVU where you two reconnected and after a year of dating, he proposed. He was your everything and you were his, at least just for a little while longer. Before the whole damn universe collapsed.

You and Dominick were walking down the street when someone came and punched Dominick. He fell to the ground and when you went to grab him. The man pistol whipped you and took you. As Dominick was trying to get up, he heard the man say, “Guess Agent Hotchner can’t protect you when he’s in Virginia.” Dominick looked at him and he tried pulling his phone when the trigger was pulled.

All you know is that you heard a gunshot, and everything went black.

Hotch was at the BAU when he got the phone call he least expected. When he heard Dominick had been shot and you were gone, he hopped on the jet with Prentis, Morgan, and Reid and flew to New York where he’d see Dominick in the hospital. Gunshot wound to the shoulder.

You were fighting for your life. You were just in a van, but you already knew you had to fight for your life. The man said, “I saw your picture at your dad’s office. I’ve been following you.” You looked at him and just kept thinking that it wasn’t true and wanted to know if you were going to see your fiancé alive.

You quietly said, “No. You don’t know me. My Dad’s dead.”

The man said, “No, he’s not. We’re gonna give him a call right now.”

You said, “Please let me go, I’m a detective, I won’t say a thing. I’ll say my friend took me as a joke for my bachelorette party. Please, I’m, I’m getting married in a week.”

The man just looked at you and laughed. He stared into your eyes and he said, “You think you’re getting married? I think it’s time to call your dad.”

You just looked at him. You tried to kick him, but your legs were tied together.

Hotch’s phone started ringing and he said, “Hotchner.”

You screamed “Dad!”

Hotch went into full panic hearing your voice. You sounded tired, in defeat.

You breathlessly said, “Dad. I love you so much. You’re the best. Tell Dominick I love him and that I’m sorry.”

Hotch said, “No, Y/N, honey, you’re going to be okay. I’m coming to find you. I’m going to get you. You’re getting married. We gotta see that lengthy iItalian at the end of the aisle.”

You and him both chuckled slightly and he said, “Hang in there honey, we’re coming to get you. I love you.”

The man ended the call and grabbed a knife and shoved it into your stomach.

Garcia said, “Hotch, we got a location.”

NYPD and FBI were rushing to the scene.

You closed your eyes because you knew it was going to be too late. You were bleeding, but you wanted to fight hard enough to see your Dad one last time. And hopefully see Dominick.

You were getting tired, when all of a sudden, the van doors opened and there you were. Lying on the ground. Your dad saw the state you were in. He was an FBI agent but most importantly, he was your father.

Hotch ran in and looked at you. He knew it wasn’t going to end well but he had to tell you it would. As you were slowly loosing your life, it killed him. Killed him that he couldn’t take your pain away. Killed him to know that he was going to have to be the one to tell Dominick that you were gone.

Hotch said, “Y/N, you’re going to be alright. Help is on the way. Okay? Okay? We’re going to get you some help.”

You looked at him with tears in your eyes. You knew this was it. You knew this was going to kill him and you knew you would kill Dominick.

You said, “I want you to record a video. Just the sound. I want to tell Dominick.”

Morgan pulled out his phone and said, “Okay.”

Hotch held his hands to your stomach wounds and you saw how much blood you had lost.

You said, “Hey baby, it’s me. I love you so much. Whatever happens to me, I want you to know it’s not your fault. I love you so much and I don’t want you to be upset. My dad’s going to need you and you’re going to need my dad. I want you to fall in love again. I love you so much sunshine. I love you.”

Derek stopped it and Hotch said, “You’re not going anywhere.”

I said, “Dad. I love you. Thank you for protecting me.”

Here you were, telling your dad how much you loved him.

You said, “You and Sonny were the two most important men in my life. I love you so much. Please, sing me to sleep.”

He looked at me and he knew this was it. He just wanted to make you happy and at peace one last time.

He sang your favorite song, “Can’t Smile Without You” by Barry Manilow.

Just as he finished the last line, you looked at your Dad and said, “Thank you, I love you.”

Hotch said, “I love you so much.”

You closed your eyes one final time and everyone around just watched your dad break down. He tried to resuscitate you but it was no use. You were gone. You were never gonna become Dominick's wife, You were never going to give your dad grandkids.

Morgan pulled hotch away into a van and drove to the hospital. Sonny was sitting there and saw Aaron. He said, “Aaron.” Hotch gave the phone to sonny and Sonny pressed play. He heard the message and Sonny broke down crying. The two men cried together. Something neither one of them envisioned doing together.

But most importantly, Hotch lost his daughter and Dominick lost the love of his life. When the whole world collapsed, it came down hard.

great question. Except for "Also You," which was written with Jackie Tohn for Jackie Tohn, we had no idea who would sing each song. I did the demos for almost all of them and then we had to pitch actors/artists to see if they'd be interested... which wasn't as hard (luckily) as seeing if they were AVAILABLE... which many weren't given the short time we had to make the show. Hopefully we can get some of those folks on for the next season IF THEY'LL LET US HAVE ONE!

How different is it doing a show like Royalties where you're heavily involved in the creative process compared to other projects you've done in the past?

i'd say night and day but that's an understatement. When I did Glee all I had to do was act in scenes, record songs, and go to dance rehearsal. With Royalties, it's that AND casting, doing pre production, post production, notes, meetings, notes, writing and producing songs, location scouting, blah blah blah lots of the stuff that you don't have to worry about if you're not a creator. Zelder : YES!! And I'm going to tell you about each and every one of them!

Zelder: First up is Noel ! She's 12 and the youngest in the family. Mom says she's going through a bit of a "phase" at the moment but- I guess it's a healthy way of expressing herself ? But anyway, she's great at singing and won quite a few talent shows despite being super shy and, as most of my siblings are, she's great on the farm! She mostly helps with the planting when she's not busy with homework. Oh and I may or may not have cried when she was born. In my defense she was the cutest baby ever. (still kinda is)

Zelder : Next is Philippe. He's 13 and sadly going through this horrible phase of teenage hood where everything is terrible, awkward and. Very sweaty. Hang in there buddy. I heard he spends a lot more time in his room playing video games now but he does have some sort of connection with cows- not in a bad way obviously, the cows really love him is all ! Dad keeps sending me pictures of him stuck in a field because of a cow napping on him. Dad thinks it's absolutely hilarious

Zelder: Oh Bertie!!! I love her- she's 15 and insanely talented! We spent a lot of time watching cartoons together and she kept drawing the characters so now she is an amazing artist! She wants to be an animator so my parents are trying to save up money to send her to a good art school once she's done with high school. She's also very funny and nice and not as shy as you'd expect her to be, I love spending time with her whenever I can!

Zelder : Woop woop! Give it up for the twins! (I'm sorry I don't know what I tried to do here oh gosh) Caroline and Alexis ! Both are 17 but Caroline was born 20 minutes earlier and won't let him live it down. These two are like cats and dogs : Caroline has always been this very extroverted, bright and childish girl while Alexis is much more introverted, calm and- no offense Alex if you're reading this but- terrible at any sort of social interaction. He's very different from the rest of the family but I do like that about him ! Oh and the twins are both Very very strong, I'm sure they could lift a truck if they wanted to!

Next in the family is me so- hi ! Yall already know me so let's move on to...

Zelder : woah I'm surprised I never talked to yall about him before! Okay- no joke but his name is Micheal and he's 20. Yes we do make a lot of jokes about him and Micheals having the same name and my parents would go around at church telling people about their two sons named Micheal or that they should make a group called "The Micheals" since they're both musicians- it was actually very cute~ Anyhow! He's a Mormon like the rest of the family but he decided to not go on his mission to focus on his music career. He's a singer and guitarist! He's got a few songs out which I listen to a lot and my parents try to drag Philippe and Noel to every single one of his concerts. I hope I'll be able to see him play soon!

Zelder: Oooh Jacqueline~ She's 21 and almost done with her mission in Switzerland! We haven't gotten to talk to her a lot since her mission started but let's just say she's doing way better at it than I am (her district is still standing and now that I'm thinking about it, it's not a very high standard...).

Growing up with her she was always really relaxed and chill, she's great at handling other people's tantrums and giving vague yet good advice. She has the same "older sibling vibes" as Davis so I really appreciate having this little piece of home around. Also she has a huge collection of crystals back home and a Kidz Bop mixtape she made for us when we were kids! I miss her a lot ❤️

Zelder : This is Charlotte! She's 26 and recently got married to a man she met on her mission in France. They're both in America right now but they're saving up money to go live in Paris. It's very slow since she's a French teacher in a little high school in Texas but she's very hard working and determined to make her dreams come true so I'm sure she can do it ! What else... Oh right. We used to get into a lot of arguments about everything when we were younger but I still cried when she left to go on her mission... And at her wedding... But I can finally say now that I love her a lot and I know deep down I cared for her back then... She will definitely be using this to blackmail me later. Oh gosh...

Zelder: And finally we have Joseph (we all call him Joe), the oldest at 29 years old ! We are honestly all so proud of him since he dealt with a lot of of problems with his mental health and yknow it was... A lot. But now look at him ! He used to love baking pies with mom and now he has a lovely pie shop in the city, he has an amazing wife and the cutest daughter, his recovery is going so well and he's a wonderful person ! He also spent a lot of time elder Micheals (not my brother) at the worst of his depression, which helped a lot since I didn't always know how to help him and he was there for me too when I wasn't doing too well either. The three of us are really close ! It's amazing to see him now as an adult, he's so wise and so much happier. Things really do get better and I couldn't be more proud of my big brother.

Lol none I hated p.e I was also pretty tall at the time so people expected me to play but I just wanted to hide in the corner

1. hoodies are good for when you dont have a bra on and they come with one BIG pocket and you dont need to worry about a shirt

Leather jackets are for cool kidz and carry a nice vibe and still thick enough to keep you warm , but you can't really get them wet I think so you can't wash em , but they can come with cool designs on the back but their better fitted on perfectly on a person and if you grow they just look odd on you then you have to buy another and that's not fun

Wow. Okay. I didn’t want to be a villain but here we are. I will post a video confessional soon but for now, the plan to vote out Ben actually worked. I called Maddison last minute and explained that Ben and Kalle were tight and were all over the place, playing both sides. Maddison found out that Kalle was a rat and was not being completely truthful and we both agreed on voting Kalle or Ben. We agreed on Ben because we thought Kalle was going to play her idol on herself.... turns out Ben was telling the truth in voting out Kalle to old Hanuha and Kalle actually gave Olivia a real idol. If I learned anything today is that we tend to read in and over think and make up scenarios in our head. Ben was actually on our side all along? Who would have thought. All the bits and pieces he told us today just didn't add up and Cody said he was different and everyone was just quiet and Ben didn't talk in the group, he spoke to people individually. I don't really understand what just happened but we wasted so much energy speculating lmao. And now where the hell do we go from here? Cody has become so paranoid also. The minute Ben told him that those people will be writing his name he became soooo paranoid wtf. Then he WASTED an advantage and idol at tribal? Just bc he still didn't trust the plan. I'm starting to think that Cody just can't trust anyone or any process. I really think he needs to chill more. Be more low key. Just try to be calm. I enjoyed my day today. I think it's the first time I was fully in the real world in 22 days. I'm playing a reckless game right now. There are so many layers in this game but after last night's tribal and learning that Ben was being legit, I just feel bad. I love Cody but he's definitely a loose cannon and can't play low key. Which is definitely bad for my game. He and Sarah are trying to push me into getting Amy on our side, but our relationship just isn't like that. I don't want to make her feel used. I like her. I really like her a lot. I like Sarah too. And Cody. I want to be friends with all these people IRL lol so I don't want to play against them or lie to them. This game just gets harder every time someone gets voted off tbh but I'm at the point where I feel like "if my plan works, then great", "if it doesn't, then whatever. I get to chill on panderosa and get to sleep more and actually spend time with my family and friends who I've been avoiding since this started lmao" Also, I'd be able to work again. "Is this how a flamingo stands? His head turned away from my house, so i slipped out and held the door knob behind me,not all the way closed but it looked like it.. But I could push it back in and escape.

I won. When you surprise secret service at least 2x in less than 10 minutes... You win. Especially when everyone on the porch's jaw drops open.

So they watched the video and all and the most shocked secret service had figured out how i knew when to go in but said it wss all shocking the same. The other one doing the heavy lifting hadn't noticed anything.

Now Today 10 and half years later he doesnt bother to open any door to his house for me.

Anyways. So Jeremiah had agreed the year before that if i could outwit the secret service somehow in under 25 minutes then every one could be set free. But it had ti be the secret service and it had to be 21-24 minutes for everyone in Iraq and for everyone in the vans. At 25 minutes, no one. And under 21 minutes anyone already set free including the vans.

1400 had already been released on escaping terms and 5000 remained in the cells.

I had to beat amnesia to get the rest out. At least 3 pregnancies and finding my mom at her location.

So I did it.

All those greedy selfish people i had to yell at at the NHRA. I had to. I worked every single day. Every single day to repair my brain 99% on my own. It had to be 85% not including legal drugs.

Even the Queen agreed but stated she must be dead before any press releases could be stated about her involvement. And i had to pick her successor.

So yay!!! I did it under 12 years.

But also I wish I could done it sooner.

I fought every single day.

Every single day. My mind wss on my mind.

No matter what it took. I always felt that. It was the most important thing in the world. An urgency that took over my entire being.

God gave me great pain so i was unable,to leave my bed so i could focus and break all barriers and do it even without his help.

I even became suicidal, homicidal, crazy feeling, all sorts of horrible things

Yet I cannot compare it to the intensity of being kidnapped and broken. Tortured nearly constantly. And having to work for a slave labor.

In words it seems the same. But in my still somewhat broken mind i dont see it that way.

Because what I did was break free. And i see these people in shackles. Giving up as i did multiple times. But bot just giving up for a day or week while still looking and,grasping. But i see people who lost hope.

How coils they not? I know i would, just keep my head down and work, stay out of trouble and try the best i can to keep shelter over my head and food in my belly and have,the faith that that would work to,keep,me,alive another day.

Again, in words, it sounds almost the same. But i had a job I picked,a house I picked, my own child, a car.

I had freedom. I had freedom to stop, i had freedom to quit. I could do anything in the world I wanted. And no one could stop me, beat me, or anything.

I had full control over my life and it's contents. Over what i ate or didn't n wheere i got it from.

So,while on paper it sounds as though our struggles are the same, the struggles of the human trafficking victims and their families do not compare; theirs are much greater.

Doing what i did on my own the way i have. It has brought extreme advancement to the medical community.

But when I look at the sea of faces, my heart and mind connect and tell me, it is not over. My eyes tell me, what you have suffered, they will, too.

And I know i can't take that pain they will have in the future away. It hurts my heart to know what I've gone through, mentally, in my life and know they Likley will as well.

But I just hope and pray that we are different enough, the human trafficking victims and I that they will have the happiness I have sought for myself and my own daughter.

And when i do, i see people hugging, i see people holding each other through some of the toughest best times of their lives. I see people together.

And i know, im likely an over protective mother, seeing all these people as her babies with all the last instructions about not forgetting to turn off the stove, or turning the pot handles in so you don't accidentally hit it and waste your food if you dont have a dog or a small child dumping boiling water on their heads.

Its not like sending them to college... Its like sending them home.

Homes that .... I've lived in nearly 40 houses. And None were the same. Except the constant battles and abuse from relatives that weren't mine.

That is why i am so thankful to London for sparing DNA kits that have been administered to all victims and will be administered to families all over the world. ASAP

I know this is the first stage and so much more needs to be done. But as I put my head down to work, I know it will. Get done.

Pokemon has many inspirations. We are going to look at Shinto Folklore and animism and how it has inspired many of our most beloved and despised little pokemon monsters. Closed Captions  available

So I’ve been thinking a lot about Pokemon lately and how it’s such an enduring part of the cultural landscape. I mean, hell, I’ve been playing Pokemon since I was 6.That’s...that’s ridiculous. So today I want to talk about some of the inspiration behind Pokemon, in particular the pokemon that draw heavily from Shinto folklore and Animism.

Pokemon is a worldwide franchise pop culture phenomenon that was born way back in 1996. It has 7 generations of main games, several spin off game series, a TV show, over a dozen movies, a card game, several different manga adaptations, plush dolls, figurines, everything. Everything. I remember buying pokemon pop tarts and lunchables in the 90s. If you have somehow missed the last...21 years of pop culture- Pokemon is a turn based RPG where you battle and capture little creatures with super powers, train them up to make them stronger, battle other children who have their own little creatures, and strive to be the best little critter wrangler in the world. While making friends and defeating the mob, or eco terrorists, or random death cults along the way.

There are, as of the making of this video, 802 different pokemon. That is...a lot of little pocket monsters you gotta catch if you wanna catch ‘em all. And you gotta. You gotta catch em all. - Today I want to look at some of the inspirations behind these little creatures. Some pokemon are really cool, while others feel..uninspired. And this isn’t just a matter of which generation of pokemon we are looking at. Gen 1 and gen 7 has gold stars and duds alike.

Sometimes there are Pokemon that are just animals: Caterpie is...just a caterpillar, Pidgey is just a bird that turns into two larger birds. Spearow is...also...just a bird that turns into a bigger bird, and...Taillow? a bird that evolves into a bigger bird? And Starly. Bird. Bigger bird. Pidove. Bird. Bigger birds. You see a trend here?  Krabby is a crab that turns into a bigger crab. Goldeen is a...fish that turns into a bigger fish. Oh but it has a horn?

Then there are Pokemon that are just weird colored animals: A lot of them are purple? Like Rattata, is purple rat that turns into a brown rat and Ekans...purple snake that turns into a...bigger purple snake.

Most commonly we have Pokemon that are animals with elemental powers. These are generally pretty cool. Pikachu, Growlithe, Ponyta, pachirisu, sandile, basically all of the starters are normal animal + elemental power. They’re awesome. (Side note: Squirtle. Is he a turtle that squirts, or is he a turtle with a squirrel tail? Both?) Anyway.

Then there’s….Pokemon that are...famous people? And...a mime? Just a mime?

We have pokemon that are ghosts, and things possessed by ghosts, and sarcophagi? Whatever Lickitung is? - But we want to focus on Shinto Folklore and Animism.

So, let’s take a moment to talk about Shinto. Shinto is a Japanese ethnic religion that was first codified in the 8th century. It is a blend of earlier folklore, mythology, ancestor worship, shrine rituals, harvest festivals, and animism, which we will go into more detail about in just a minute. Shinto has a pantheon of Gods, a creation myth and religious stories, mixed together with folk tales and superstitions. Shinto is practiced by nearly 80% of the Japanese population in some way, shape, or form, and heavily influences daily life and pop culture to this day.

It’s incredibly common to see Shinto figures show up in anime. Noragami, Inari Kon Kon, Gingstune, Kamisama kiss, thing with Oni pop up in everything from Yu Yu Hakusho, to Dragonball Z, to Re:Zero. They blend pretty seamlessly with Buddhist beliefs and chinese folklore if you look at shows like early Dragonball and Saiyuki, and even Fruits Basket.

So it’s really not surprising how many Pokemon are based on Shinto folklore - Vulpix and Ninetails are among most obvious ones. They are basically just Kitsune, like magic foxes, with fire powers. They even have the 9 tails, just like the evil Kitsune in Naruto, and there’s that one episode where a Ninetails turns into a pretty lady and has a thing with Brock, something that kitsune in folklore were known to do.

Froslass seems to be directly based on Yuki-onna, the ice women from Shinto folklore. Like Yukina in Yu Yu Hakusho and Yuki in the new Interviews with Monster Girls anime and...Elsa?, Yuki Onna are ice women that are linked with deadly snow storms and the changing of the seasons.

Golduck are based on Kappa, a demon that lives in or near water and tries to drown children.

Mawille are based on two mouthed demon women in Shinto folklore.

Celebi is a Kodoma- a guardian tree spirit or forest guardian, like the ones seen in Princess Mononoke.

Meowth is a Maneki-neko, a beckoning cat, often used as a good luck charm.

And that’s just the beginning. - But we  really want to talk about Animism. Animism is an important part of Shinto. It’s the belief that aspects of the natural world- mountains, rivers, plants, trees, weather phenomenon, even buildings and objects, all have life and spirit, that they have souls, in a sense.

Animism includes the belief that all material things have agency, that there is no meaningful distinction between the spiritual world and the physical world, and that not only do humans have souls, but also other animals, plants, rocks, mountains, rivers, and other aspects of the natural environment, including thunder, wind, and shadows do as well. Animism thus rejects the idea that humans are divinely exceptional.

Animism is one of the oldest forms of human belief and it pops up in religions all over the world. And pokemon has it in droves. We see it a lot in grass types, but not exclusively.

I give you: Geodude. The ultimate expression of shinto Animism in modern  pop media. He’s a rock with a face. He’s a rock with arms. He’s literally a rock that is alive. A rock with feelings. A rock with a soul. Ust Look at him. This is basically textbook animism. And he’s not the only one.

Pokemon that represent animism include: Oddish Bellsprout Grimer Sunflora Pineco Slugma Snover Cherubi Even the weird ones like Trubbish and Vanillish and magnemite On the surface, these seem like lazy pokemon designs. It’s a sunflower with a face. It’s a pinecone with a face, it’s a pine tree with a face, it’s a cherry with a face, it’s a freakin trashbag with a face. I love this pokemon.

But that’s the philosophy behind Animism. Everyday, normal objects are alive, conscious, and powerful.   It’s the same philosophy that has Hayao Miyazaki drawing Kodoma spirits as the souls of the trees that has Ken Sugimori slapping a face on a petrified tree and naming it Sudowoodo.

Pokemon is a massive franchise that pulls inspiration from literally all over the globe. And while purple glob that evolves into bigger purple blob may not be the most visually interesting pokemon design, knowing that it has its roots in tradition at least makes it a little bit cooler.

I've been thinking about this game and I thought I might as well summarise it with a list of mistakes I've made so far, in order of shittiness 1) Making an alliance with my favourite dumb cunts literally-a-12-yo Aren and the totally unpredictable, emotional Emot 2) Allowing those fuckers to vote out Jay 3) Trusting Aren to be able to sort shit out for that last vote 4) Being stupid enough to convince myself (& Emmott) that blindsiding Shay was a great idea 5) Finding the solution to Pandora's box & sending it to literally everyone but ny host chat (and then 3 minutes later, because I decided I needed to fucking check again, someone else got in first) 6) Not taking out Alex or Ruthie when we had the chance 7) Not doing more to save Ci'ere & leaving it to the last minute 8) Not working my arse off to find an idol which would be real fucking useful right about now 9) Inviting Alex into that alliance at the beginning 10) Signing up to play in the first place and not turning down the last minute offer to be in this godforsaken season

At this point in the game I really need to start winning things or I will be viewed as a MEGA floater and I just don't want that to happen.  Tonight's comp is basically luck related though so... yeah, we'll see.  

If Emmott or Issy DID win tonight, I wouldn't be in danger, who ever didn't get immunity out of the two of them would be the one to go home.  I would love for one of them to win, especially Emmott because I love his passion so much, and he makes me laugh.  But I still want The Family to remain solid and that might cause other things to happen. :/ Speaking of The Family though...

Last thing I wanted to cover before finding out the results for tonight... THE JURY!  And seriously, I am sorry for all the noise, I'm not sure what possessed me to make video confessionals in the Cosco parking lot with my little sister and my 2 year old nephew in the car.  

Right now I just feel like they all hate me, I'm not sure if they hate myself or Alex more at this point but whatever happens I still want to go to the end with him!

Aren's blindside went perfectly, and the fact that he actually had people writing my name down means that it was even justified!  Fantastic!  Nicole's random vote for Issy is weird and mildly concerning, but not too much so. The hosts have asked me to rank the players, so I am going to rank them in order of How Likely I Am To Give My Jury Vote To This Person. 6 – Emmot: This paranoid, flip-floppy motherfuck right here.  Fuck you, dude.  Pick a side.  Don't try and play both.  I can't see a world where I vote for you. 5 – Nicole: Don't get me wrong, being able to mostly count on your vote is great.  But at the end of the day, we haven't talked game.  You've been Ruthie's appendage and that's it. 4 – Lena: If our Family has a weak link, strategically speaking, it's Lena.  I love her, but she's mostly just a vote at this point – a vote who holds an Idol, maybe.  Definitely the fourth wheel, definitely not getting my vote unless I have to. 3 – Issy: I respect her iron will to eliminate me.  I don't respect her complete lack of ability to make it happen, or lack of flexibility.  Survivor is a game of adaptation, and she's banging her head against the brick wall. Richie and Ruthie are obviously the top two, and my vote between them really would depend on how I went out of the game, and how they got themselves to the end.  It would be a tough choice between the for me, and I can't make that call now. Before I get to talking about blind week, I once again want to wax philosophical about the game.  Specifically, I'm sure that a lot of people will be looking at my play in retrospect and saying “dude, what the fuck?”  Because from a purely strategic standpoint, my insistence on keeping the Family intact and, specifically, keeping both Richie and Ruthie in, is strategic suicide.  I'm aware of this. I've said before that I take these games really seriously, and I play with everything I've got.  I genuinely, regardless of what happens, like the people I'm aligned with.  And I want to see them do well, even at my own expense.  So I have a tough choice ahead of me, now, at this moment. Strategically, I should start looking to cut Richie and/or Ruthie soon here, because they kick my ass at the end.  But I don't know if I have a cold enough heart to do it, is the thing.  What I have to settle within myself is: how far will I go to win?  Will I cut them down to do it?  Because I could, I really could.  But will I feel good about it later?  And if I lose even after doing so, will I regret it?  Probably. Also, FUCK BLIND WEEK That's all, just fuck this shit.

Funny I should send in a post about how solid The Family is then do what I did last night.  I am such an unloyal snakey bitch and I really hate myself this week.  I hate myself a lot.  I remember asking the other day in The Family alliance if our alliance was seen more as 'Heroes' or 'Villains' and I really HOPE I'm not seen as a villain after tonight, although if I am, I hope to be lovingly greeted by the dark side.  Can I get some cupcakes with black and red sprinkles, please? So, the new Takeover was posted and just FUCK.  Literally anyone could be going home this week and in short I panicked.  I suggested to Alex that I talk to Issy and Emmott about bringing back our old chat and talking them into voting Richie out.  I suggested that one of us could vote with them and the other vote with Lena, Richie and Nicole. He was of course down but hesitant and kind of sat back a bit with it, and I really don't blame him.   This is SUCH a bitch move on my part and I'm feeling awful already but I WANT ALEX AND I TO GET TO THE END.  I WANT HIM TO STAY SAFE.   Anyway, we talked this morning and for now I think that The Family and Nicole are going to vote together and that Emmott/Issy are going to vote for Richie, thinking that we are too.  At this rate I'm not going to have any jury votes, RIP ME.

Blind Week is so ugly. This is so simple, guys.  Each person has a 1/7 shot at having Immunity, the odds are in our favor if we just pile onto one person. But no, Ruthie has to PANIC and go to Issy and Emmott to get them to vote Richie instead of me, just in case. First of all, that's not gonna work.  They're not buying it. Second of all, they're not buying it. THIRD of all, they are IMMEDIATELY going to run to Richie and tell him what you're doing because that is literally their only course of action!  What the shit!  Their best play is to break us up and you've just created the bullets, loaded the gun and handed it to them!  The fuck do you expect them to do, NOT shoot it? Christ. I am trying to keep things under control, and part of my method is making sure nobody notices that should there be a tie, we go to rocks.  Because let's be real, I'm the most likely to end up in a tie, and then I'd be safe. And if this fails, and I go home for it?  Fine.  Guess who has the moral high ground, kids?! But if I don't go home, my Legacy Advantage will let me see all...and that's useful info.

so...... this takeover is ugly..... i was going to try and take out nicole this week but with the uncertainty of not knowing who won immunity and blah blah blah its just not smart so its either issy or emmott tonight... and ive been lying hard core to emmott bc the votes not being revealed so im like being a real fake binch????? theres been so much messiness happening, ruthie threw me under the bus which wasnt fun to find out even if it wasnt necessarily true??? altho it could be true and i could be leaving tonight that would be wild???? also nicole gave me tea which made me trust her again which was nice so im happy i didnt try to vote her out this round i was just being paranoid about her relationship with ruthie which is still concerning but i feel better now as long as theyre telling the truth of course..... honestly idk wtf is going to happen bc with the immunity being a guessing game and not knowing who could have won ANYONE can be going home tonight especially with the no revote straight to rocks... like this is the ugliest round bc theres so little control over whats going to happen and i hate it i really hate it.... i just voted for issy but i would have rather voted for emmott bc ive had a better game history with issy (kinda?) so i would have prefferred to keep her around to try and make a move with later like there was tea she had an idol so she may play it tonight and i was lowkey hoping she would maybe play it at 5 and idol alex  but idk i wanted to vote emmott bc of the fear of her having the idol is strong....... and i havent talked to her..... i should talk to her...... make her feel safer so she doesnt play her hypothetical idol but lbr if you didnt know who had immunity and you heard your name going around youd play that mf idol no matter what..... thats why im scared to vote her UGH this is ugly its literally like picking a target and throwing a dart at it with your eyes closed and i hate it and i hate you goodbye !!!!!!1!!!
