Redesigns of @keyunto's god characters!!! I designed their characters around 2021, and i redrew them so i can see how far ive come with my character designing skills!! suffice to say im really proud of myself >:]]

I didnt change much with fox girl other than freckles ngl but i will say that i will always love drawing her spiky eyelashes <3 Shes my number one fav design to draw from everyone HAHA

Now THIS design i had fun doing again!! first of all, made her hair MORE floofy and took away the kinda unneceasry braid on her hair. Also made her face more chubby because i think it fits a bunny goddess well!!

now THIS was a big redesign. i practically. restructured her whole face HAHA but yeah i was just not feeling the og design, it was giving so much OOMPH and character so i tried to make her look more fierce and formidable, just how an actual lion is!

now here i ULTRA LEVELED UP HER HAIR TO LOOK MORE RACOON LIKE LMAOO it was actually super fun drawing it!! no more the days of bland unspiky hair >B]

i think her og design looks already super good!! BUT IM RLLY PROUD OF THIS REDESIGN SPECIFICALLY BCUS OF HOW THE HAIR FLOWS!!!! ITS GOIN SWOOPY SWOOPS!!!! and ofc had to use a feather earring because raven goddess etc gender etc <3

honestly did not change her design that much EXCEPT for her face structure, and i think the lil pearl necklaces and crowns and beads are such a regal touch I LOVE IT

LEAFPOOL!!!!! MY BLORBO!!! 

this is a redesign, but I barely changed anything, I just redrew her with my improved style, made her proportions even chonkier, and made her stripes more simple!  I LOBE HER SO MUCH U DONT UNDERSTAND

First off the biggest change is that she is mates with Mothwing instead of Crowfeather! I am actually changing up Crow a lot as well! I like the idea of Leaf and Crow actually being friends instead, which will make even more since when I get into Crowfeather in my au! 

Leafpool starts out like she is in the books, a perfect devout follower of Starclan, but she has too big of a heart and falls for Mothwing. Mothwing has never understood the rules about Med cats since she doesn't even believe in Starclan at this point, and eventually she confesses her feelings to Leafpool, and Leaf takes a few days, thinking maybe she would get a sign from Starclan, and she does! Starclan tells her to follow her heart, sooo tells Moth that she returns her feelings! 

Like in canon she eventually gets pregnant (Mothwing is trans), but one thing that's different here is that Moth, Leaf, Squirrel and Bramble are close, Moth and Bramble bond as siblings, especially after what happened with Hawk. So when Leaf gets pregnant and she and Moth plan to run away together they tell Bramble and Squirrel. They don't want to see them go but they understand why they are leaving, and they promise to keep quiet. But when Leaf and Moth get the message from Midnight, they come back, and Cinderpelt dies, Squirrel and Bramble promise to help them! Like in canon Starclan tells Squirrel to raise the 3, and this time Bramble knows about it! 

Watching her kits grow up being raised by someone else is painful for Leafpool, as well as Moth since she cant even see her kits as often, being in another clan. And over time Leaf starts to get more and more doubtful of Starclan, Moth at this point knows they are real, but she thinks of them just as dead cats “why should we listen to them?” and Leaf starts to get where Moth is coming from... They had told her to follow her heart hadn't they? and was that really meant to help her? with her and her mate now suffering without their kits? had this been fated? 

She watches her daughter become filled with anger and hatred for Leaf and Moth, she watches her loose herself to this hatred, she watches her call them out in front of the clans.

But, when this happens several cats come to Leafpool's defense! While Leaf is sitting in horror of what has happened, Mothwing stands next to her mate, claws unsheathed ready to fight anyone who would dare harm her, and soon after Squirrelflight snaps out of her surprise and does the same, followed by Brambleflower. Crowfeather joins them, Tawnyclaw is next, and several more of these cat’s friends and allies do as well. 

The clans are not what they used to be, the borders are weak, warriors have many friends within other clans, some even have mates, kits even! Many of the laws of the warrior code have been weakened or forgotten for the sake of a new more peaceful life in the new territories. Many cats wonder, why should that not be the same for Medicine cat law? Mothwing climbs up next to the leaders and asks why a cat should have had to hide her kits away at all? Why when Starclan themselves had told her to take a mate, had allowed her to have kits? 

Though Hollyleaf has run away with Lion and Jay following after her, the meeting continues, and many things change about the medicine code that night.

(more happens after this obv. but I haven't planned it all out yet hehe)

After everything that happens to her Leafpool has much the same snarky attitude about Starclan as Jaywing does. While she still will take their prophecies and commune with them, she takes it all with a grain of salt. She is known for being kind to everyone and always trying to see the good in people, but Starclan? no they are going to have to prove they're worth listening to.

ive been watching this like... dime a dozen hulu original adult animated sitcom called Krapopolis about ancient greece and mythology (vaguely?) that is by no means any good. i will say right off the bat that it's more than a little cringeworthy and clunky in both writing and art style but theres just barely enough humor and the tiniest scrap of heart in it that i have to keep watching it

theres this one character design in particular though.

its time for my hippocampus rant. im fixated on him in particular and he's basically the only reason im still watching the show in the first place 🥹

its especially frustrating because theres so many different aspects of his character and concept that are intriguing to me, but none of them are executed in a good way. its like... you had a good idea and you lost me with the design.

hippocampus is an inventor and scientist who invented a mobility aid that allows him, a hybrid fish person, to live and navigate on land where he otherwise wouldn't be able to... obviously he has other character traits but that's the jist of it.

the one thing i really like about his character design is that his mobility aid is so practical. it makes sense and is uniquely tailored to his body and what he needs. i also love how cohesive it is, i think its clever how the big metal neck peice ties the whole thing together and is sort of reminiscent of an old-timey diving suit, while also hiding his weird neck.

the main problem i have is with. the face

i feel like he suffers bigtime from cartoon blobfish face syndrome. the lips and nose are enough proof for me. and whats with the fin/tail on the back of the head..?? it definitely gets across the idea that he's a fish, but it still feels lazy and definitely doesnt add anything to his design lol. not to mention the hair fin. and the buck teeth????

its not perfect but sketched a little bit of a redesign(?) i lost steam halfway through and will probably never finish it but i just needed to get some ideas down. i was thinking for his weird blobfish nose situation it could be more like a cicilid's "kok", where its less of a nose and more of just a protrusion in place of a nose?

as for his teeth i could imagine they could be similar to a parrotfish's beak (and maybe be used in a similar way? it would be neat if he had a different diet than his siblings)

hello my friends, its been a while since i've been able to post art!

ive been cooking a sigma redesign in the background for quiet a while now. his current look and personality in the games is just.... bland to me. i dont find anything interesting in his motivations or appearance. its upsetting since wily from the OG series is so much fun. both of them are recurring bad guys for almost every game but sigma isnt as interesting as a villain as wily.

thoughts on my redesign are under the cut. and the ALT text contains transcripts of my handwriting!

The rising Maverick issue continued to worsen as more cases of violent reploid activity emerged. Reploid technology, since its recent discovery by Dr.Cain, has done so much to improve the quality of life of humanity. But like any emerging technology, there are risks.

Seeing the dangers of the Maverick threat, Dr.Cain once again provided his insight and assistance. He proposed the creation of a organization dedicated to hunting and eliminating Mavericks. The idea was eagerly accepted by the population. But the power of reploids far surpassed any human. If such an organization were to succeed, it must be placed under the care of other reploids.

Using research he unearthed alongside X, Dr.Cain designed the most advanced reploid to date. A design superior in both intellect and strength to lead the hunters and maintain peace for humanity. Sigma would be a protector, a leader, a pillar of virtue for reploids and humans alike to look up to in uncertain times.

He performed his duties to perfection. He oversaw every mission. Completed each one with absolute success. To the hunters and humans, Sigma truly was their hero and fearless leader. The few who knew him personally, like X and Dr.Cain, knew how he handled everything with care- it was a necessity of Sigma to be careful, of course. His strength was unmatched but also untested, and on more than one occasion he would break something in the earlier months of his creation. He would apologize profusely to the good Doctor Cain for an damages caused, to which the Doctor forgave him with a laugh.

Sigma was a perfect icon of the hunters promise to protect humanity. Then, on one mission, he encountered a Maverick like no other. A crimson machine of murderous intent and unstoppable power. Sigma nearly failed in his mission. He nearly lost his life to that thing. For the first time, Sigma knew fear.

He was damaged. He needed weeks-worth of repairs but the humans would not allow it. They needed him up and running immediately. So they patched up the worst of it, and threw on some reinforced armor and an support unit by the name of Velguarder to assist him. That worked well enough for their needs and with days Sigma was returned to his station- still with a scarred face to remind everyone of his previously unknown fallibility.

Sigma continued to perform his duties. He read every report given to him, he gave his hunters every reassurance, he meticulously handled every Maverick incident to prevent any casualty. Time passed. He was praised less for doing his job. He never had time to complete his repairs. His head hurt from the information he processed everyday. He did not know that could happen. The rest of his repairs kept getting pushed back. Too much to do. There are more mavericks everyday. That crimson killer joined their ranks. No one asked Sigma's approval. Zero is what they call him. No one asked Sigma. His head hurts more everyday. He still hasn't been repaired.

Months go by. He still wasn't allowed to be repaired. He asked once to have leave for a few days. THe Humans looked at him witH disbeLief. TOld him he couldn't ignore his duties. He nEeded to protect huManity. He needed to Care for theM. WHo was caring for Sigma? Who? WHO WAS CARING FOR HIM?

The Maverick Threat continues to rise. Sigma would like to announce to humanity that he is resigning from commander of the Maverick Hunters. You do not deserve his protection.

ramblings on my personal feelings about my GG fave

i have such mixed feelings about testament's redesign. before i get too much into it. this is the internet so in case any rando sees this and doesnt know me: there is no wrong or right way to be nonbinary. there is no wrong or right way to present or feel yourself. i am against binary completely. i do not believe in transa/ndrophobia garbage.

i also wanna state i am a long time testament fangirlie. i love testament. i am happy testament was added. im happy they came out and said testament is x-gender/nb. testament in the old GG games partially helped me realize i was transmasc/nb. i think maybe thats why the redesign makes me feel a bit strange. first, a comparison.

Testament's general goth vibe and outfit basically never changed until Strive. I do think it's very interesting that from GG-->GGIsuka, Testament gained a six pack and yet also somehow became much skinnier and looks almost emaciated. Original GG Testament was very much a softer type build with no abs. I'd even say in Strive, their body shape became closer to how it was in the original GG.

Along with that, a lot of the design elements are still there, which I think is really impressive. The boots, the skirt, the gloves, and their new corset has the same arm flairs/wraps as their old tube top did. Really, they did a great job keeping the same vibe but showing that Testament has changed. So what's my problem? I've been trying to figure it out for a while. And seeing this concept art for Strive I think kinda cemented my feelings.

It was clear from the beginning they wanted Testament to have a more "fancy" look(lol the hat). In fact the one on the right is almost the exact same outfit but their body is drastically different... And I think this might be why I feel so mixed. GG creator has said Testament was always X-gender, and I think this comes through from their design from the very start. Back in ye olden days, before the Strive redesign, Testament 100% received transphobic comments that I shant repeat. But I'm sure you can imagine the sort of hatred and slurs a transfem would receive. having testament's redesign be clearly, much much more feminine isn't necessarily a bad thing- in fact i dont think its bad. again... being nb doesnt mean someone has to look any certain way. but testament isnt a real person. testament is a character designed by people. how would people have reacted if Testament was more masculine, but they still came out and said they were nb? The poses, the voice... it was all the same but Testament wasn't clearly much more fem? the way nb feels like something only allowed to more fem presenting people i guess makes me a bit concerned. go to any post about testament and look at the comments. its all "SEXY MOMMY THIGHS THEY SLAYIN" type shit. testament p much never received this attention beforehand. testament was also just... not as popular as other chars such as brisket who received the majority of attention in this way.

where am i going with this... idk. in a way, i have a lot of not clear thoughts and no where to put them. again maybe its just because i saw testament as gender goals before strive. and as someone that is nb but wants to be more masc it makes me a bit upset. there is absolutely a pattern of what is acceptable for a nb person to look like(especially when you are transfem), and i guess it just sucks that it happened to testament who i thought was perfect in the beginning. ngl i do also miss their edgier parts also. they def moved away from edgy to a fancy/posh vibe. testament's scythe used to be made of their own blood, and they'd cut off their body parts and remove skin for attacks. i can, obviously accept that this can be a reflection of them growing as a person and no longer self harming now that they are happy... or maybe it was too hard to animate in 3D... teehee....

this walk cycle literally cannot be beat it is the best.

i wanna be them so bad again tho i wanna reiterate. testament is my #1 fave guilty gear char forever i love them. this will not change. i just have many thots and feelings

Hampsterdance hyperfixation?

ok ok i know me being fixated on a song about dancing hampsters is very strange but theres actually a ton of underground lore about hampsterdance thats been obscured for decades due to hampsterdance (the brand/band) tanking in popularity after its one hit wonder single in 2000

1. this is probably more well known thanks to this video and also due to me talking about it with random strangers all the time but hampsterdance had a straight-to-dvd movie called "how the hampster's saved winter" that's a piece of lost media (which isn't a new thing for this franchise) due to barely anybody ordering it off the website. the only reason we know it exists it thanks to an article from 2019 of someone interviewing the guys who own the hampsterdance brand (yes, brand!!) and web archives of the website (and the dead purchase link on it.) as well as screencaps from a now dead flash game (which i have saved thankfully pre flash dying) which includes a ferret which is just making me want to find it even more, even if it's just a shitty christmas movie

2. i'm gonna follow up on the hampsterdance movie kind of by explaining what i mean by brand. it's well known info (and if you dont know this thats ok) that the original website was made by an art student named deidre lacarte in 98 in a competition with her friend and sister to make a site with the most web traffic. well, after the hit single "hampsterdance", in around 2002ish? the trademark to it was bought by abatis inc. who still currently holds the trademark. and also they're the ones behind this fucking 3d redesign of the main 4 (i blame alvin for this one personally :/)

like.. i love their current designs now despite how Interesting they look, but what we had already was perfect.

3. there's actually a niche community of hampsterdance fans and there has been for decades! there's an official forum that exists and that's still active (last i checked a few months ago) if you wanna make an account on it good luck getting it approved, it took my account a good year i think :(. so i guess my hampsterdance fixation isnt that strange even if it's mainly focusing on the backstory of this entire franchise vs the actual characters themselves (id probably fixate on the characters if i actually got my hands on that damn movie)

4. hampsterdance has actually made songs outside of its one hit wonder. it has a few albums also!! you can find some of the songs on youtube as well as some of the other music videos ;)

5. official merchandising of the hampsters exists, and yes, im qualifying that as lost media. this includes shirts, rubber bands, and lollipops strangely enough. also plushies of the main cast (unfortunately in the reboot style). also a mug i regret not buying when i saw it for 20 bucks on ebay </3

6. hampton (the main hampster, the guy with the bowtie, the man who started it all) was named after deidre's hamster who had the same name. he was featured a few times on the website after it went through a few updates (aka going from literal gif hell to an actual website with things to do on it).

thank you mr hampton for inspiring millions of people by existing. and also promoting hamster care for two decades. youve done a lot for us (actual image of him below)

7. i bet you're curious why hampsterdance is spelled with a p. well, according to hampton hampster (fictional), he named himself that because unlike hamsters (without a p), he was no ordinary hamster. in actuality this was probably a misspelling of hamster that just ended up sticking, but i do think that little in universe explanation is very cute.

jujutsu kaisen was really hard to get into at first, as i read somewhere- it just felt like a regurgitation of shounen tropes. of course there were moments, but after the hidden inventory arc, is where i actually started enjoying the story and getting invested. things i found cool

- mahitos manipulation of the bbody through manipulating the soul

- mai's hurt at being left behind by maki that she was hiding, deep down- how she values their bond over jujutsu, which she doesnt even care about (and was ready to sink together with her sister and doesnt get why maki couldnt stay) vs. maki who left te zenin clan to pursue jujutsu

- pandas gorilla mode. excellenttly designed

- inumakis cursed speech, soumds sick as fuck in the anime

- gojo telling megumi to let loose and stop holding back vs megumi doing exactly that

- that panel with sukuna and mahito where itadori realises how no matter how you put it, theyre curses

- mahitos weird little faces. pure comedy

- hes so fun in general. the chaotic energy? unrivaled.

- yeah junpei arc. you can fel the fun theyre having in the dinner scene, his mom and yuuji and him. lmao the wilson scene.

- his entire part- his conversations with mahito and when his mom dies and hes all pressed to mahitos side, horrified and needing comfort. vs later when you realize theyre the ones who planted the finger. its the classic character sort of being groomed b a villain and being manipulated and getting "corrupted" but being "saved" by the main caracter/ agreeing to join their side arc and then being set up to be killed for the shock value and to further the hatred the mc feels for the main villain

-megumis deadpan faces and general maturity, responsibility out of the trio vs going feral when hes alone. its why his fights are the most enjoyable. hes so much more petty and don to murder

- the whole gojo and getos backstory fucks so hard.

cason,,,, wasnt much different. i do in fact have a short fanfiction i wrote in 2018 or so that i submitted for school ((so the setting is not entirely accurate)) that describes child him perfectly.

cason was a completely spoiled, stubborn, and selfish brat. his parents were not good at discipline, and even at a young age he was a manipulative little bastard, so its not like they noticed anyways. if he ever did get in trouble he would pout that the world just isnt fair to him! he clearly wasnt in the wrong, its everyone else! he was a very cute kiddo though. with his big ol ears, braces, and jade-style glasses.

cason and his parents are,,, not very close. he deliberately pushes them away despite their best efforts, and they are good efforts, but its not enough.

tippie and her parents have a complicated relationship. nepeta and terezi were more like older friends than parents, and she had to do a lot of raising herself. they werent deliberately malicious, just not prepared. karkat was more of a father figure than them.

jones is the closest to her parents, even to a clingy degree. theyre the only people she feels understand her, and can trust with anything. theyre not perfect parents either, but jones loves them

owen and rosie are equally doted on and spoiled, but cmon, theyre like, babies. who wouldnt

"Donde estas? Te dije que no tomaras!" (*Where are you? I told you to not drink!*), you whisper yelled into your phone. Whenever upset you'd speak to her in another language in hope that no one around you knew what you were saying, especially if you were yelling like a crazy person and right now Spanish was what came out. Your life long friend/secretary, Mina, was barely waking up, leaving her 30 minutes to get ready and arrive at a very important meeting with a client. You were an interior designer, who works for an international company and currently working in Korea with a very important company that was redesigning one of their buildings and designing some of their new apartments. Your secretary was supposed to be ready by now and accompanying you to get some coffee before the meeting, but she slept in. "OMG, I'll be ready in 10", she replied with panic. You grunted and hung up. As you were putting away your phone, you walked towards the cafe, but didn't make it far without accidentally bumping into someone's chest, which you assumed belonged to a guy because of how hard it was. You totally hadn't seen him standing there in the middle of the way, why was he blocking the way anyway?!. "I'm sorry", you heard him say in a deep voice. You looked up at him, but only saw his eyes, because he was wearing a face mask. He had nice eyes though and.. wait you've seen these eyes somewhere. You stared and tried to remember, but you heard him cough awkwardly taking you out of your thoughts. "Oh no.. it's my fault, I wasn't looking up, I'm sorry", you said. "It's fine, I was in the way and it seems like you're having a tough morning", he replied with an eye smile. It was cute the way his eyes turned into little moons. "I.. uh yeah.. wait how'd you know", you asked with wide eyes. "I kind of heard you talking, well, yelling on the phone as you were walking over here", he chuckled. "Oh", you replied as you looked somewhere else. "Don't worry, I dont know what you were saying though, what language was that?", he replied immediately. "Spanish", you replied with a small smile. "Oh that's ho.. cool", he responded. "Umm.. well I have to go..", you responded with a tight lipped smile. "Yeah.. me too… hopefully the rest of your day goes better", he replied. "Thanks, uhh…", you started, but realized you didn't even know his name. "Hun, you can call me Hun..", he said and reached to shake your hand. "Y/N", you replied as you shook his hand, wow it was big and soft. "Bye Hun", you said and walked away, while he waved goodbye to you.

You rushed into the cafe and thank God, there was no line, because now you had 20 minutes to get to the location of the meeting, which was luckily only a 5 minute drive away. You got yours and Mina's coffee and headed to the meeting arriving 8 minutes before the start. You were nervous and Mina still wasn't here. "My boss will be running a little late, he's really sorry", you heard Mr. Lee's secretary say as you sat in the conference room. "That's fine don't worry", you responded with a smile. 'It's actually perfect', you thought as you saw Mina rushing into the conference room. "Where's everyone", she said breathlessly. "Gone, you took too long", you said seriously. "What", she whisper yelled. You shrugged your shoulders and she let her head fall onto the table with a grunt. You tried not to laugh, but failed and she looked at you confused. "I'm kidding, they're running a little late", you laughed. "Evil, you evil thing", she pouted. The CEO walked in about ten minutes later and the meeting went smoothly. You felt a big weight lift of your shoulders when Mr. Lee said the design was perfect and that you could start next week. "My day is going well", you whispered as you got into your car with Mina. "What?", she asked with a frown. You shook your head and smiled as you remembered your interaction with Hun. Mina just shrugged and asked what you were both going to eat. "You're always hungry", you chuckled with a roll of your eyes. "I'm hungover", she replied with a pout. "Let's go eat", you said.

The week had passed by quickly and now you were currently standing in front of SM entertainment. You had heard a couple of things about this company and their artists, but you weren't that into them like Mina was. Maybe it's because she's Korean, but honestly right now you were surprised at how calm she looked, although deep down she's probably freaking out. You had decided it was best to work on the building first and one of the apartments and then move onto the rest of the apartments, which were a total of 7 and each idol had different ideas and preferences. You tried to keep their ideas incorporated with your ideas, so that they felt more comfortable in their new homes. Your team had already designed Minseok's apartment with a design that you created, but you hadn't been able to come personally at that time. You had seen pictures and he had emailed you about how happy he was with his new home thanks to you and your team. "Let's get started", you cheered to your crew and Mina. As you were working on the building, you encountered several of idols and wow, now you knew why Mina was so into them, they were beautiful/handsome. They would bow each time they saw you, and you felt kind of weird at first because you knew most were older than you and although you've traveled a lot, most people wouldn't mind you enough to greet you. "They're very respectful", you whispered to Mina as you bowed back. "Yes, they are and so cute", she whispered back. "I wonder where Exo is tho", she pouted. "That's Minseok's group right?.. the one with what's his name… oh um Lay in China and Kyungsoo, who's also enlisting in less than a month?", you questioned. "Yes", she replied with a fake sob. "Right in the wound?", you chuckled. "Yes… thanks a lot..", she pouted causing you to laugh until you saw her eyes freeze at something behind you. "What", you asked as you turned around. Exo was walking up to you both and you felt your self freeze like Mina. "Hello, I'm Kim Junmyeon", you heard one of them say as they all bowed lightly at you. "Hello, I'm Y/N L/N and this is Kang Mina", you replied as you both bowed back. Junmyeon pointed to the other 6 guys and introduced them as they each smiled at you. You smiled back to each of them, but froze once you made eye contact with one of the taller members. He was really handsome, but what caught your attention were his eyes.. they had a familiarity to them that you couldn't pinpoint. He locked eyes with you and you shifted your eyes back to Junmyeon nervously. 'Why am I nervous', you thought. 'What was his name.. Sehun?'.., you continued to think. "Umm well, we just wanted to introduce ourselves because you'll be working on our new homes, you'll actually be working on Kyungsoo's first", Junmyeon spoke up taking you out of your thoughts. You turned to look at a handsome man, with plump lips and big eyes, who apparently was Kyungsoo. You smiled at him and he smiled back as he said, "I look forward to working with you and your team". "Yes, we look forward to working with all of you", you replied with a grin.

They left and you heard Mina take a big breath. "Wow", she whispered. 'Wow indeed', you thought. You kept thinking about Sehun's eyes, they were so similar. They kind of reminded you of Hun's eyes. 'Could it be him and Hun is just short for Sehun? They are the same height and all, but Hun couldn't be Sehun could he? You were in Korea anyways, so there were many other tall Korean males around, it'd be too much of a coincidence. Why would he even talk to you in the first place anyways?', you thought. "Hmm", you hummed. "What", Mina asked. "No, nothing sorry, let's continue our work", you replied. You're team continued to remove all the old materials, hoping you'd get it all out within two days so the painters and flooring installers could start and then your team could continue redesigning with the new items/furniture as soon as possible. After a couple of hours of removing stuff from the bottom and top floors, you told your team that they could continue tomorrow with what was left. As you were barely going to leave, you saw Kyungsoo and Sehun walking towards Mina and you. "Hello again Miss L/N", Kyungsoo greeted with a small bow while Sehun just stared. "Hello Mr. Do, just Y/N is fine", you bowed back. 'Do I always have to bow', you thought and you heard Sehun chuckle. You turned to look at with a questioning look and he shrugged his shoulders while saying, "You don't look very comfortable with the bowing and don't call him Mr. Do, he hates it. Just call us by our first names". You nodded with a small smile. "They informed me that you wanted to look at the apartment tomorrow in person. I'll be available at noon, if you have time.", Kyungsoo spoke up. "Ah yes, that would be perfect Kyungsoo, I'll see you tomorrow at noon. Here's my business card, it has Mine and Mina's work numbers on it, just in case you need something", you responded. You heard someone clear their throat and you turned to Sehun, who was just looking at you and then your business card. "Sehun since I'll be working on your apartment too, you'll need my contact information. Can you actually give these to the rest.", you said as you handed him some extra cards. He frowned slightly, but took them anyways. "Well, we should get going and it seems like you were leaving also. I'll see you both tomorrow", Kyungsoo said and almost bowed but stopped himself and smiled instead. "Bye, I'll see you tomorrow", you smiled back. "Bye Y/N, I'll see you around", Sehun said. "Bye Sehun", you said and walked off with Mina, who was just staring the whole time. "You need to stop staring and talk", you whispered. "They make me nervous and Kyungsoo omg Kyungsoo kills me", she whispered back causing you to laugh out loud. You covered your mouth and turned to look hoping Kyungsoo and Sehun had left already, but they were still standing there. You looked at Sehun, who seemed to be staring at you and he winked at you. You turned away immediately and walked faster, pulling Mina with you. 'What was that… did he wink at me?!', you thought as you walked to your car.

The next day, you stopped by at SM to check up on the work before you headed to Kyungsoo's place and everything was going smoothly. "I can't believe I'm going to Kyungsoo's home", Mina squealed once you were on your way. Apparently Kyungsoo was her favorite and she had this platonic crush on him. "Don't make it obvious", you said with a roll of your eyes. "I can't even talk or breathe when I'm around him, do you think he has noticed?", she questioned with wide eyes. You chuckled and shrugged as you parked the car. Once you were in front of Kyungsoo's door you rang the door bell and you could hear Mina whispering, "Breathe, breathe, breathe..". You were about to tell her to stop when the door opened and you saw Sehun standing there with a smile. "Sehun?… Am I at the wrong place?", you questioned as you looked at the apartment number again. "No.. you're at the right place.. I'm just hanging with Kyungsoo hyung", he chuckled. "Come in", he added. Mina walked in with you following her and Sehun right behind you. You were about to ask where you should go as you saw that the hall split into two areas, but you felt Sehun's hand on your back guiding you as he told Mina to take the left side. His hand felt big and warm on your back, it was actually comforting. The three of you stepped into what was supposed to be the living room area and Sehun let go off you. You almost let out a whine at the loss of his touch, but you bit your tongue. 'What the hell is wrong with me, I don't even know him!', you thought. "Hyung, Mina and Y/N are here", Sehun called out and Kyungsoo came out of the what was probably the bedroom on the other side of the hall with some blankets in hand. He greeted you both and apologized about not having anywhere to sit yet and placed the blankets on the floor. You nodded and sat down. You showed him the plans of your ideas and asked what he thought. He liked most of your plan, with only a couple of changes here and there. He knew what he wanted and you were glad, because it made your job much easier. "Ok, so that's done, I have the appliances and furniture ready, now we just have to look into purchasing the paint for the walls and the extra items that you want. I have some places listed where I prefer to buy from", you said as you looked through your portfolio for the list. "Mina did you take out the list?", you asked when you couldn't find it. "Ah yes, I did, but it should be saved on the work laptop..", she replied. "I have my personal laptop..", you replied with a frown. "I have some in mind, but not the whole list for every item", you looked over at Kyungsoo. "I can go get it at the office", Mina spoke up. "Actually yes that would be best because we need to order them as soon as possible in order to finish everything on time", you replied. "I can take you..that way we can get some food on the way back..", Kyungsoo offered. "Ok.. thank you", Mina answered shyly.  They left, leaving Sehun and you alone. You sat there silently as you pretended to do something on your laptop to avoid his intense stare. You felt nervous about being alone with Sehun and he seemed to be enjoying it because when you looked at him, he simply smirked at you. You shifted your eyes back down, but he leaned in to close your laptop. You glared at him and he just laughed. "Why did you do that?", you asked. "I know you're not doing anything darling", he shrugged. "Darling?", you asked with an eyebrow raised. "Can I call you that?", he asked with a small smile. You laughed and rolled your eyes. "You don't even know me,", you responded. "But I want to know you..", he replied as he sat next to you. "We've only seen each other like what 3 times...and I need to use the restroom", you chuckled nervously. He made a bitch face at you, a literal bitch face and pointed to other side of the hall and said,"Second door to the right". You rushed to the restroom in a hurry and locked the door behind you. You didn't even need to use the restroom, but he was making you very nervous with those eyes and his handsome face all close to you. You washed your hands, but couldn't find any towel to dry them, so you walked out to ask for a napkin. As you were walking to the living room, you looked down to get your ringing phone out of your pocket and you bumped into someone's chest. "Again", you heard Sehun chuckle. "What?", you asked as you looked up. "You're distracted by your phone and crashing into me again", he chuckled. You frowned and then it clicked. You dried your hand on your pants and placed it in front of Sehun's face, so that only his eyes were visible.

"Omg… you're Hun?", you said with wide eyes.

"Yes I am", he replied with a smile.

Class 1-A vs. Tickle Might: Part 1

The forty combined eyes of class 1-A were locked on All Might as he leapt gracefully from the wall of the training grounds, passing overhead and descending in a lazy arc into the mock city before them.

“He moves like a missile,” Momo said thoughtfully. “You would think such a big person would be less aerodynamic.”

Other students were less calm. “He’s gonna kill us all!” Mineta yelled. “I won’t get to enjoy my summer break at all!”

Hagakure clung to Ojiro’s arm. “Guys, I bet Aizawa-sensei sent him to beat us up before training camp. He probably thinks we won’t cause as much trouble if we’re all in full-body casts!”

Ojiro laughed, but he too was looking at the cluster of buildings in obvious dismay. “All Might’s the number one hero, he wouldn’t just indiscriminately fight us. I think.”

Even Aoyama’s sparkle was a little dimmed, his eyes wide in alarm behind his visor. “Mon dieu, didn’t you see what he did to Bakugou and Midoriya? His smile was as twinkling as ever, but… it was scary!”

“And he’s at full strength this time,” Satou added, his big lips pursed.

Those of them who were afraid edged closer to one other, clutching at armor and fabric and hands as if hoping they would fuse together into a single pro capable of taking on the Number One Hero. A select few, though, prepared to rally.

“It’ll be all right, guys!” Deku was smiling. Of course he was. “There’s a lot of us, and we have more experience using team attacks now! I’m sure we can impress All Might and Aizawa-sensei!”

Iida frowned. “Won’t it be easier for him to find us if we all stay in a group?”

“Maybe, but I feel safer with you guys!” Sero said.

“Yeah!”

“Let’s come up with a plan!”

A familiar snarl filled the air. “You extras can plan all you want!” Bakugou announced. “I’m going to face him head on! The only thing that would make me surrender is having to listen to you idiots for another minute!” He spun on his heel and stalked off, quickly disappearing behind the piles of concrete.

Kirishima grinned. “Guess I know what I’m doing, then.”

Mineta howled. “Just let him die! He’s really annoying! And if you get caught in the crossfire between him and All Might there’s no way you’ll survive.”

He shrugged. “Maybe, but I can’t just let him go in alone! And besides, what could be a manlier last sight on Earth than those two going at it?”

“I’ll come too,” Mina said, bouncing up and down on her toes. “I want to watch! And maybe I can get some surprise attacks in with my acid!”

The two of them headed off together after Bakugou, cheerily waving a goodbye to the rest of the group. Kaminari waved back at them like it was the last he would ever see of his two friends. Jirou scoffed and turned to look at the two planners left in their group. “Let’s call them the distraction, then… Momo, Midoriya, do you guys have any ideas?”

Bakugou’s arms throbbed inside his gauntlets.

The wounds from his finals match had been healed by Recovery Girl  - the old hag had been surprised that he’d been hurt so bad, even though Deku was in the next bed over with a shitty bruised spine, as if he wasn’t just as dedicated to winning even if it means shattering every bone in his damn arm – but the memory of just how much it hurt was still in there.

He almost wished Kirishima was here to guard his back. Shitty Hair could take a punch, at least. Maybe even one of All Might’s. But he didn’t need him to win. All he needed was the chance to get in one good blow of his own this time –

A sound behind him. He whirled around, one sweat-filled hand slinging behind him with even more force. As soon as he could see his target, he would –

Something closed around his wrist. A sudden jerking sensation as his arm was pulled upwards, and the explosion seared harmlessly into the air.

All Might was holding him suspended by one hand. Like a freaking ragdoll. “Ah, young hero! I might have expected you to come face me head-on.”

Instead of replying, he tried to blast the man with his other hand. It joined the other above his head just as quickly, held in that same massive grip. “What are you doing? DON’T RESTRAIN ME, YOU SHITTY – let me fight, old man!”

All Might propped his free hand on his hip. “A brave face, huh? You must really want a rematch. I think your sleeveless uniform’s really going to put you at a disadvantage in this round…”

He cocked his hand, fingers spread stiffly for a grab or chop, and Bakugou wasn’t afraid, he wasn’t, but that didn’t keep his body from flinching, a fruitless attempt to protect himself from the painful blow.

His captor paused. “Young Bakugou, are you – are you frightened of me?”

“No.”

He lowered his arm enough for Bakugou to get his feet on the ground – still up on his toes, but at least he wasn’t hanging there like a sack of meat. “My boy, I must say that I’m very sorry about the end of our last battle. I wouldn’t have stopped you so forcefully if I didn’t think you were about to seriously injure yourself.”

“I’m not fucking afraid, okay? Just hit me already so I can hit back.”

All Might looked unconvinced. “Ah, that’s… good, young hero! Such an indomitable spirit!” His smile grew impossibly wider. “Besides, you won’t come to any harm today!”

“Oh yeah? Then what the fuck are we here to do, talk each other into submission? And what do you mean, I’m at a disadvantage because my uniform doesn’t have sleeves?”

“Ah, yes.” All Might cocked his hand again. His fingers were wiggling this time, and somehow this spiked Bakugou’s apprehension in an entirely different way. “Allow me to demonstrate.”

He’d never put much thought into a costume redesign, but as All Might’s evil hands came in contact with his bare armpits he decided that he needed more armor. Immediately. “W-whahaHAT! THE HEHEHELL?!” His palms were sparking uselessly into the sky, face bent into a helpless grin, and shit he was glad that none of the others in his class were here right now.

It was a relief, almost, not to be thrust into another bloody fight with his hero, but that didn’t stop him from kicking and screaming bloody murder, still on his tiptoes as he strained for some leverage to protect himself. All Might was chuckling. “I think this is the first time I’ve seen you smile, young Bakugou! A very good imitation of my trademark, but perhaps we can do better!”

“NOHO – nowecan’t – AHAHA!” His entire torso was helpless under the attack, and his face hurt from smiling so hard. It wasn’t long before he couldn’t take it anymore. “OKAY nonONO not thaHAT just fucking STOP I GIVE I GIVE!”

All Might let him down gently, giving one last triumphant laugh as he patted Bakugou on the back. “An admirable effort, my boy.”

“I didn’t even do anything,” he mumbled into the ground. Was he still grinning? He was, like an idiot. He was an idiot. This was terrible.

Footsteps skidded into the street. “Bakubro, we heard you screaming – laughing? – oh shit, he’s here-”

Bakugou forced his head up. Kirishima and Mina. They’d probably followed him in.

He snorted. “You’re next, morons. Better run if you’re ticklish.”

They’d worked three-quarters of the way through a plan involving Sero’s tape (just. So much tape), Tsuyu’s mucus secretion, and a titanium bondage set from Momo when an explosion roared through the air.

“Kacchan,” Deku gasped. His theory was confirmed when the explosion died down only to be replaced with cursing at only a slightly reduced volume. And then there was the screaming.

“Such darkness,” Tokoyami intoned. “It will swallow us all.”

The screams continued, Bakugou sounding truly desperate. “OKAY nonONO not thaHAT just fucking STOP I GIVE I GIVE!���

Mineta fainted.

The racket tapered off at last, All Might’s laugh echoing tinnily in their ears as they all shivered. “Do you think he’s still alive?” Uraraka whispered. “Man, this is scary.”

Deku’s mind raced. The other students were thinking frantically too, but he had two pieces of information that no one else knew.

The first: In all the videos he’d seen of All Might, he’d never heard of him making a villain beg for mercy. All Might preferred to harm the villains he captured as little as possible, making it easier to the police to detain them without having to provide medical treatment and having the added effect of minimizing property damage.

The second: He’d grown up with Kacchan, who had never been in the habit of screaming in anything other than rage. The only thing that had ever made him howl like that had happened when they were little, and it was – it was –

Oh.

“Midoriya’s about to faint,” Todoroki said.

“Deku?” Uraraka shook him. “What’s going on?”

He swallowed. “We need to split up and hide. Now.”

The class looked at each other in alarm. If even he couldn’t maintain his determination…

They were all going to die.

“We’re not going to die!” Mina gushed. “This is so fun! This is fantastic!”

She and Kirishima were sprinting away from All Might as fast as they could, taking corners at random in hopes that they would lose him. “Yeah, if we can make it back to the others, they’ll definitely be less scared!”

“Are you certain of that, young hero?”

They both skidded to a stop, but Kirishima still crashed into All Might’s massive chest and rebounded onto the ground. Mina shot past them both with a shriek. “All Might!”

The man crouched over him. “I was surprised not to find you with your friends, young Kirishima.”

“We were trying to find Bakugou,” he admitted, rubbing the back of his head. “Mina and I are really bad with directions though, so we got lost until we heard him screaming.”

“It seems you arrived at the perfect time to become my next victim,” the hero intoned, and wow that smile was the most ominous thing he’d ever seen now.

“I – haha –“ Kirishima spluttered, before remembering that he had a quirk. “Ha!” he exclaimed, activating his quirk and feeling immensely relieved as his skin hardened to a rock-like texture. “There’s no way you can tickle me now!”

“It will be more difficult,” All Might mused. Suddenly, he yanked one of Kirishima’s boots off. “I wonder, do your palms and soles harden as well?”

Kirishima, who’d had his quirk for all of twelve years, suddenly couldn’t remember. He glanced frantically at one of his hands and mentally cheered. “Ah, they do.”

All Might frowned, as much as he could frown. “If all your skin hardens, it’s pretty surprising that you can move at all…” Taking Kirishima’s foot gently in his hand, he rotated it right and left. “If this works, then…”

Kirishima felt something brush against his ankle, and without thinking, snickered at the ticklish sensation.

All Might’s grin came back in full force. Hesitantly, Kirishima offered him a weak smile. “Uh… maybe I just have a really cool quirk… and tickling definitely won’t work on me?”

Turned out, his ankles were traitors. A few scratches from All Might and he was already giggling frantically, his other foot drumming against the ground as he tried to roll over and crawl away. Even worse, as he lost focus his quirk began to waver, and despite his effort of squeezing his eyes shut and trying to will the laughter away he could feel his protective shell softening around him.

“Not so tough now, young hero,” All Might teased, and Kirishima groaned internally at the joke as his torture became a thousand times worse. The soles of his feet, the soft skin behind his knees – even squeezing his calf produced a new wave of laughter from him.

He couldn’t take it. No wonder Bakugou had been collapsed on the ground. “Mihihina…. MINA, HELP!”

A pair of pink arms wound themselves around All Might’s neck – Mina, jumping on his back. “Hi! All Might-sensei, can I go next?”

The tickling eased up a little as All Might turned his head to smile at her. “You know, my girl, this is technically a test.”

She pouted. “I know, but… tickling! I already failed my practical anyway, so I’m sure I’ll have to take the remedial classes. I might as well relax and have some fun while I can instead of running! Right, Kirishima?”

Panting, he considered this situation. This was definitely more fun than a fight, and it was really nice after the nightmare of preparing for finals. “Heh… yeah, I guess you’re right.”

“I can hardly refuse such a polite request,” All Might proclaimed grandly, “but first, I need to hear a surrender from young Kirishima here!” He reached a hand up to scratch at Kirishima’s ribcage, the boy squeaking as he tried to bat it away.

“I could help,” Mina offered slyly.

“No, yOU CAHAN’T!” Two pairs of hands hovered over him, Mina reaching over All Might’s shoulder with her evilest grin. “Wait, wait, I give!”

All Might roared with laughter, offering Kirishima a hearty embrace as he wobbled to his feet. “A smart decision! She’s very determined!”

He glared half-heartedly at Mina, shaking his head with a rueful grin. “I’m going to get you for this.” He turned to All Might. “Do we get to watch the others?”

“You do have to leave the training ground. However, your Aizawa-sensei’s in the evaluation room. If he permits you to enter, then you can watch with him!”

“Cool! I’ll see you there, Ashido.” He looked around. “Which way is the exit again?”

As he left, Mina prepared to jump off All Might and take off – she felt like running at least a little bit, after seeing how wrecked Kirishima looked. But before she could so much as loosen her grip, All Might spoke in a decidedly villainous voice. “Well, young Ashido, this means it’s your turn now.”

He grabbed her uniform and yanked, and the next thing she knew she had tumbled over his shoulder and straight into his arms with a surprised shout. He dropped to the ground, cross legged, and released her unceremoniously into his lap. “Wow, you move… really fast, sensei!”

All Might chuckled. Evilly. “You said you wanted to relax, young hero? Perhaps you’d like a massage?” His fingers dug into the muscle at the back of her shoulders, and she found herself squealing with laughter as they hunched up instinctively. “Hm… you don’t look very relaxed. Maybe a different technique?” Said technique was a light massaging of her ribcage that had her curled into a shaking ball, giggling her head off. “This seems a bit harsh… are you really having fun, young Ashido?”

“Yehehes!” she giggled, burying her head in his shoulder. “Lohots of fun!”

His breath stirred her hair as he huffed with laughter. “All right, then.” He continued happily, paying special attention to her neck when he discovered that tickling her there produced actual cackles. She lasted for nearly three minutes before slapping at his hands and gasping breathlessly for mercy.

All Might waited until she caught her breath to move, standing them up together. She jumped onto him once more, offering him a hug from the front this time. He returned it slowly, a little surprised but pleased nonetheless. “You’ve had your fun, young Ashido! I hope you’ll apply as much dedication to attaining mastery of your studies!”

“I will”, she promised, climbing to his shoulder and somersaulting off to the ground. “Thanks a lot, All Might-sensei! It’s really nice of you and Aizawa-sensei to do this for us!”

He had to point her in the direction of the exit as well. She left with a cheerful smile, and he smiled in return as he cracked his knuckles.

Time to find his next target.

hi do you have any tips/recs for someone who’s just starting new leaf? i had it a long time ago but i stopped playing, and now i want to start playing again but i don’t remember it well 🙈

Hi! This might be long but! When I restarted this last time I was worried it would get boring real fast like with my first save, so I planned out as much as I possibly could ahead of time.

Think of a theme that makes you happy! Do you love witchy/fairy things? A specific color? maybe a season? particular villager animal? Aliens??? If you can figure out a theme you can build around (and it can be ANYTHING) then you will have much more confidence when you first step foot in your new town!

Now I’m gonna use my town as reference, so, I really like the Witchy/Fairy aesthetic and I knew immediately thats what i was going to do. I’m bad at town names, but i like Pokemon and remembered they have a fairy town, so I looked it up and got my name and figured why stop there? That’s how Laverre City became one of my sole inspirations for my town. I was inspired to restart because of hackers so even though I cant hack, I think about things I might like to do, or really want to do when/if i ever can and i have some big ideas lol im so sad. So ultimately i settled on a fall themed town (not perpetual fall but looks best in fall and the dreamcode will be of the town in fall) with lots of pink cosmos and regular saplings to give off a resemblance to Laverre City :)I then looked at a lot of forest and dreamy type towns to get some inspiration like mushroom rings, layout ideas, and items or PWPs to use. I also checked sites like animal crossing wikia to make a list of PWPs I might like in my town and chose 30 possible options (you can only build 30) and check the space requirements.

Once I start for real with a vague idea of where I want to put things I look at all the maps available and if they don’t have specific traits i want (secret beach, desirable town tree location, diving cliff, ponds in places that wont get in the way of projects and landscaping ideas, good spot for the cafe, etc) I restart until a map comes up that I like. Once I arrive in town its time to check my native fruit and rock locations and make sure its up to my standards, and if a resident is important for you to have/not have make sure to check the map too!

Once you get a town you’re happy with and you’ve found the perfect place to call home its time to get serious >: |It’s time for your first shovel and axe.Now, I have always been anti-axe in previous games but this last save changed me. I got a hold of that first axe and chopped down every tree that wasn’t a southern cedar tree! (southern cedars are only possible at the start! If you plant them they’ll only grow in the North, thats the top half of your town.) Now your town will feel barren at first and this is the ugliest stage but also one of the funnest -imo- so lets open up your patterns and get started. Now that you have a blank canvas use your green & blue tiles to signify trees/bamboo and bushes, you can even redesign it and write “T” or “B” respectably and start laying them out. You can also use the Yellow to lay down where you want PWPs (make sure to surround two spaces further than the project requires. a 3x3 fountain should look more like a 5x5 area to ensure no one moves directly next to where you want to build). You should have lots of fruit piled up (remember to stack them) so you can layout bush tiles and plant fruit if you’d rather have a better idea of how its gonna look. I planted all my peaches and would later go back and replace certain ones with new fruit i acquired. Its good to have a “this is all a process” mindset because it will take a while to get your town done even if you time travel, but thats good! because the game is all about making your dream town!

So now you have a good amount of the town planned out and probably have some ideas of what to do next. The next few days will be spent checking out how things are growing and making sure you planted things in the right spots. if there’s anything you’re not liking - change it! Your town Your rules!

Now while you are waiting for things to grow and get pretty its time to gather aaaaaallllll the flowers you can find and organize them in a large free space so they are all diagonally touching (XXXX), this way you can get hybrids early on :)Make sure they are the same breed and check hybrid guides so you know which colors work best to make the hybrids you most want and make sure to water them everyday as they will wilt if you don’t have the beautiful ordinance. Hybrids are good to have for trades when you dont have much money.

After all this you should be off to a pretty good start. Try to keep in mind villagers you would like to have and try to make friends online or IRL that you can adopt from (I always post when i have some one leaving and who I am hoping to replace them with and I usually get an offer fairly quickly, even for villagers I was desperate to get out. No matter who they are someone likes them :)) But if your town is set up in a way that you’ll be devastated if your dreamie moves in that one perfectly made up spot, it might be a good idea to plot set &/ reset.Plot resetting is when you make a *NEW* character save to check and see if anyone moved in overnight, and more importantly, if they moved in an undesirable place. If this happens restart and select the new save option until the villager plots in a spot you like. Once they do that build your tent somewhere and save quit. This will make the new residents spot permanent and then you can select the new save once more and delete their home. This could take quite a while if you have lots of “open” space. “Open Space” is how I refer to non-tiled/pwp or house occupied areas and the way I go about this is covering my town in about 75% tiles and spacing out pwps to where there are as few places houses can plot in as possible. Houses wont build over tiles and will plot at least 2 spaces away from other buildings, rocks and projects and one away from clifs and ponds/rivers. They dont care however if there are trees, bamboo, items, bushes, or flowers so be sure to lay out tiles in any place at risk to being plotted on. I refer to this as “Plot Setting” as you can make 3x3 empty plots you surround with tiles which will help villagers know where to plot. If you do a good job and plot everything out just right, you’ll never have to worry about someone messing up your hard work.

Now here’s the kinda sucky part of ACNL and that is The Limitations.Annoying programmed rules that seem to only get in the way such as the 2-space rule between pwps/buildings. This can mess up your aesthetic a lot and sometimes you will have to completely replan things due to a small fact you may have overlooked or not noticed and suddenly your garden isnt looking right so im gonna name off the biggest hassles and how I have gotten around some of them.

Bush + tree + bush: You can line up 12 trees/bamboo and bushes in a line. This works both straight and diagonally. only 12. Now you can leave gaps in some places that will reset the count or do intricate designs like one cedar in the middle of 4 bushes, a line of bushes with trees spaced out directly behind, a pattern of bushes and chopped bamboo, etc get creative. Visiting others towns or looking at pics people post can help you get lots of ideas. Bushes can touch each other but trees & bamboo still have the one space between rule.

PWP 2-space rule: now I’ve already mentioned this a few times but this rule is always the one that I seem to forget when planning. YOU NEED TWO SPACES. I cant tell you how many times i have planned project locations weeks in advance only to not be able to lay them out as i wanted because I got the space requirement wrong or only left one space between other objects :/

Beach Rules: You may have seen cool towns with pwps, cedar trees and hibiscus bushes scattered around their beach and Ive got some bad news; Those are hacked towns. The only thing that can be planted on the beach naturally is coconut and banana trees, flowers, and clovers. Nothing grows on the beach, not even weeds. No pwps can be built there either, even though it was initially programmed to be possible. I currently use the space for hybrid breeding since i have no space to elsewhere ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Tear Down and Build Up: I will say though that even though only maybe 15% of my original plans came to life, my town looks way better than i had ever imagined it would. Don’t be afraid to tear things down and try out different locations or setups you might figure something out that looks amazing compared to your original plans.

Finally, while you can participate in the Happy Home Ratings, you dont have too. Decorate how ever the flip you want. Find new things to do everyday as the game can get old fast and you might get temped to Timetravel (which isnt a bad thing if thats what you want to do, but be careful you dont lose your villagers/flowers! Even though I have the Beautiful ordinance, I water all my flowers incase they pop out a hybrid. I try to earn all the badges, I visit dreamtowns for inspiration, redesign areas of my town, farm PWPs, make patterns, try hunting down items to decorate my house with, etc, this is another area where having a theme can help as you will find inspiration easier, and make you feel more immersed like you’re playing an RPG.

(Same redesign anon) YES! Lemon looks so lanky and that doesn't do him any justice, I really like him but I wish he stand a bit straight y'know? Whipped cream looks good tho I think the way he stands fits his design and personality. As for the Dino...idk but he looks like a mess to me :( his hair and pants and the way he stands...idk. he's a great character but my god pls give him a nice standing rig.

Also im quite surprised that YOU LIKE PEACH OMGGGG! She is my absolute favorite character and it saddens me that nobody talks abt how cute she is! She reminds me of pucca as well and that reason made me just love her 1000 times more.

I also agree abt earl grey,eclair and rogueforts design. to me it feels like they made 1 main design and split that into 3 lol they looks so similar

ALSO IT FEELS SO GOOD THAT I FOUND SOMEONE WHO HATES ICE JUGGLER , STRAWBERRY CREPE AND ROCKSTAR AS WELL OMG I NEVER FELST SO UNDERSTOOD. when I saw ice juggler it was basically hate at first sight.i thought I would like him through his story but no. He's was an asshole to banana! Annoying ass ability. Garbage ass personality. And ugly ass design.just GTFO my eyesight! Same with SC as well bc HOW CAN U BE AN ASSHOLE TO SOMEBODY LIKE STRAWBERRY! Yeah I guess Dinos standing sprite looks pretty awkward, I see what youre saying and maybe his overall design would work better if his pants were torn at the bottom similarlly to Werewolf since hes this little wild man... but they kinda explained away his neatness by giving him an older sister who makes his clothes LOL.

I love Peach! I love a Journey to the West reference and shes clearly Momo(Peach) and Sun Woo Kong which is super cute! Also the way she runs is so funny, her attack animations are great... theres also a loading screen where she says 'I can do this with my eyes closed!' but right before the screen changes she peaks one eye open and its just so fucking cute.

and god that costume...

Her beach costume is great too but LOOK AT THAT (Plums matching costumes are also perfect). So fucking good. Peach is a wacky cheeky little monkey and I adore her.

CC is baby and Rye is just cool. Its hard not to like her.

I have a love-hate relationship with Pomegranate, I spent so much time before Kingdom, loving her and then that scene where its shown that she is the one who manipulates Dark Choco just... but shes so gorgeous- the bitch and her loyalty to DE is also something I like... but she does this to my boy.... UGH.... Look I love her but if she died I wouldnt be mad about it (unless it was a lame death). Thats the vibe with her. I love her.... but also I hate her.

Its everything BUT her base, like her body/face are fine theres a lot of character there... its her outfit... or something IDK I LIKE Avocado I just never liked her design. Even alt reality Avo had a slightly better design even though it sorta saps out Avos personality. Avo also has a slide ability... which I hate so much although hers is a bit more fun than most.

Yeah I mean technically they dont look bad but the fact the three are so similar makes them stand out less and Roguefort is always gonna be the best of the three because they were first.

Mint Choco used to be in my top favs because I liked his vibe and his backstory that he was a street performer that made it. It was interesting but now hes mostly just Cocoas boyfriend... so I like him less because of it.

LMAO YEAH I remember when Juggler was first shown and everyone thought hed be like a precious shy baby but then he just turned out to be a fucking dick which was funny... but not likable.

Crepes design I actually kind of like but again with the shitty personality and nobody fucks with my baby girl.

Similarly Rockstar... except his design is trash but also hes a dick to DJ... and I wont tolerate DJ slander.
