hey, pssst. ride the cyclone fans.
you totally shouldn’t click on this link because it totally won’t take you to a google drive folder which totally doesn’t have a full copy of the 2016 production of Ride The Cyclone which definitely isn’t accessible to anyone with the link
because that would just be terrible

XD I found another meme base!
Now this is out of character for Octo.. but I just imagined this is Louis, Octo and Seafoam talking about all the health problems they have and/or their terrible diets. And Spidercrab, (being the ships medic) is just freaking out XDD
"Captain-- you've never had BROCCOLI BEFORE?? Louis you have CHRONIC BACK PAIN?? WAIT- OCTO WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME ABOUT YOUR FAINTING/DIZZY SPELLS??" XDD
(Base below the cut! :} )

Wriothesley's lore and his relationship to Neuvillette and justice is so interesting to me because let's be real: the justice system failed him. He was brought up in a foster home where he was intended to be sold in the black market. And when he ran away, why was his solution to return and kill them? Why not inform the police? One can argue he was afraid but usually you'd try every other option before resorting to murder, yes?
And when he succeeds in killing them. He's sentenced to prison, where he is forced to spend the rest of his teen years (so, a child), and the start of his adulthood. And when his sentence is over, he doesn't even leave but take over the title of warden. He literally takes over the title of warden the day his sentence is over. That is severely fucked, like so severely fucked.
So it makes me wonder where was Neuvillette and Furina in all of this? Furina left the room in the middle of Wriothesley's trial for unspecified reasons (Wriothesley interpreted it as she found his case uninteresting, though headcanons say otherwise) and despite everyone in the room finding Wriothesley innocent, Neuvillette still finds him guilty. And you can't argue that it's cause Wriothesley wanted to be found guilty, like objectively let's look at this: he was a victim of abuse killing his abusers in self-defense. Is Neuvillette that obtuse?
I wanna know what Wriothesley thought of Neuvillette in that moment. I really feel like it needs to be addressed that Neuvillette failed Wriothesley and others like him. He is the second highest authority in Fontaine, yet the only thing he could do for Wriothesley when he was homeless as a child was allow a melusine to offer him soup? That's it? Did knowing that there's starving, homeless kids on the street spark no other interest? No implications of Fontaine's society and their quality of life?
I refuse to believe that Neuvillette let the melusine give him soup because it was Wriothesley, because that would mean he was aware of his background and did nothing. He did nothing until it was too late and Wriothesley had to take matters into his own hands. I personally see it as, he lets melusines offer help to those in need, which isn't better, but is better than him actively knowing that Wriothesley was homeless, starving, and running away from an abusive home and did nothing but allowed him one meal one night. Nevermind any other nights Wriothesley could've been starving. Nevermind what he had to endure on the streets as a child, scouring for money and safety. He couldn't offer him anywhere to stay or a job or something that can better Wriothesley's quality of life in the longterm -- he is the Iudex. He has the power to do so.
I still think that Neuvillette cares. But I also think he's extremely ignorant. And I don't fault Wriothesley for believing that Neuvillette wasn't concerned about him -- I think he has every right to think so cause Neuvillette failed him when he needed him most and has not shown him a reason to think otherwise. Every instance of Neuvillette's care is never directly shown to Wriothesley but to everyone else around him.
Anyways, I just find it really sad to think about, and I think Wriothesley deserved better for his own story and I wish the narrative didn't gloss over it like "oh but Neuvillette does care" because does he? Emotionally, maybe, but did Neuvillette make any real positive difference to Wriothesley's life?
…So that's why I think the headcanon that Neuvillette personally made the soup that the melusine gave to Wriothesley isn't as sweet as you think it is.

Chilchuck Tims has 4 daughters
Izutsumi’s relationship with the whole party is very fun and heartwarming, and her relationship with each party member has something unique and special, but besides Senshi being the mama hen I really love how Chilchuck looks after Izutsumi in a father-ish way. He’s the only one in the party that sees her like an actual human girl lol. He treats her with respect while not letting himself be walked over, and I think there’s something to be said about it, esp since Chilchuck knows how it’s like to be infantilized and pet like a cute thing much like our favorite catgirl. He does handle her like a guy who has 3 adult daughters, parenting instincts kicking in
Listen I knooow the party is breaking up with the end approaching but I’ve been thinking a lot about if Izutsumi decided to stick with anyone and I think it’d be really nice if she stayed with Chilchuck. I love Chilchuck’s store so much, I have so many headcanons and fic plans involving it, but listen.  I feel like Chilchuck would be a good person to look after her, she’s still a teen and shown not to be mature enough to know what to do with herself and feed herself right yet, she could become Chilchuck’s store mascot like a cat that’s always lounging inside hehe.  He gains another sort-of-daughter and she keeps her favorite pillow, a loss-loss deal on his end but Chilchuck is too responsible to not take her in if needed mwahahaha Izutsumi would have no remorse, he’s ready to suffer for her comfort

Thomas and Martha Wayne had twins Danny and Bruce. Danny was stolen from the hospital by a grieving Maddie after her child was still born.
The only one who knows is Maddie. Jack was held up in a villain attack on his way to the hospital. Maddie met him at the entrance with the bundle and just leaves with a manic look in her eye and a death grip on the baby.
The couple left town with the kids because they wanted a safer place to raise their kids... not because Maddie became extra paranoid. No not at all.
Bonus:
Phantom is the ghost of Maddie's still born child. He haunts danny because he knows maddie is his mom and wants to know what it would be like to be taken care of and grow to adulthood. They got fused when the portal accident happened. That's why he is ridiculously powerful from the get go. He's a fresh ghost who has been fused with a teen ghost.

Ah! My bad. I was under the impression that people were aware of the Bigger Bodies to some extent, like when people show up to adopt kids and maybe see the Smiling Critters or the teachers, so I thought there had to be some explanation the public was given to not care, like animatronics or something, or whatever they thought they were doing to make the toys so realistic (new to the lore, that's on me). Figured any sightings could be explained as the player being a (former) employee and those being the giant toys from Playtime Co.
Or something, I don't know lol
(i think the only bigger bodies that would be seen by potential adopters are the Miss Delights, because you can probably hide the fact that they're living a bit easier. )
I'll be honest, i don't really know if the general public was aware of the bigger bodies. i just know that the actual employees (at least the ones in playcare) saw and were aware because of one of the first tapes in chapter 3 (the woman recalls that catnap was in the room with her and didn't seem bothered by that in particular). the employees weren't allowed to tell anyone about them, however, so i don't think the bigger bodies were common knowledge.
but as far as the general public reacting to y/n and their lil family; i think you just couldn't hide the fact that the toys are alive. poppy has human eyes, with blood vessels and realistic corneas. dogday and kissy need to breathe, and they way they move is too fluid. the toys are so obviously living organisms that breathe and bleed.
and wouldn't it be very suspicious that the only employee of playtime co that didn't go missing is now in possession of the toys their company made, ten years after the incident happened? i don't think the player would want to advertise that they're the only one left. although, after a decade, most people will have moved on from one big tragic incident to plenty of others, so...idk

I’m going to paint you a picture of modern communication, and how it is fundamentally broken.
Let’s look at one friend. You chat pretty much everyday, and mostly talk to this person on twitter and discord, with occasional tumblr DMs. That’s three places you talk. But that’s actually not true, because you also have each other’s priv twitters and talk there as well. That’s four. Now account for, let’s say, one post reply per account per person, in addition to your DMs. That’s eight. But that’s ALSO not true, because not only do you talk in discord DMs with each other, but you’re in a friend group server as well! And you talk in those channels together! That’s nine.
This is one friend.
Now look around you. How many friends, how many mutuals are you in contact with. A few, a handful, a dozen, more? How many accounts per person do you have, how many places can you send each other posts, devolve into separate topics and conversations? How many people text you as well. Friends, family, coworkers? What do you do day to day around catching up, what IRL commitments will rip you away long enough to let the pile build again?
I can’t do it. I cannot live an actual life in the real world and balance this much interaction, it’s crushing. I reply to a friend’s post because I’m interested in the subject, I want to have a discussion! I WANT to talk about it with them, but I immediately kick myself for adding another conversation to the pile. Day by day, I ignore messages for hours on end and watch mountains pile around me, to reply en masse at the end of the night to let the cycle repeat. I wake up to six discord DMs and as I clear the third, the first replies back again.
We weren’t meant to have thirty simultaneous conversations. We weren’t. And you know in your bones that the number isn’t an exaggeration.
