Lemme make a lil disclaimer first. I understand that Yang Cheng got manipulated and that his actions were heavily dictated by his trauma and lack of self esteem. I also think that he didn’t deserve all that bullshit that happened to him.

HOWEVER. He still just went and basically stole E-Soul’s fame and image. Before the whole drama with Shang Chao’s death and E-Soul’s manager trying shut him up. Before all of that. The guy was going around enjoying all the attention he was getting and didn’t even consider that he might be doing the local equivalent of copyright infringement.

I think I’m so pissed at him because he reminds me of all those art thieves. You know. The people who download your drawings and then re uploading them to their pages without any credit. And later when you find their page you can see they have fuckton of followers and profit from the art you worked so hard on.

I see Yang Cheng as someone very similar to them. A thief that goes around enjoying the fame and money he didn’t really deserve. Profiting from someone else’s hard work. And it’s not about him being an actor, I’m talking about the part where he decided he will be the “new E-Soul” now.

And in the universe where popularity literally converts into power?? He didn’t even think about his actions affecting the Og E-Soul. At least those art thieves don’t make my hands work worse when they steal my art.

There's a common misconception among level up and success circles about the kind of woman that achieves her goals. When I go through female level up spaces often I see the Amal Clooney Lori Harvey type characters in the pictures and it's because that's the kind of woman most women aspire to be. When I talk to girls about what they want to be it's always Skinny Clear Skin Hot Always Put Together Hardworking Follows a Strict Routine type, and that's why you're stuck and stunted in your journey. This is why you won't achieve anything. Because that's not real. That's not real at all I'm sorry and that's why I say most of these girls on these spaces are downright lying to you so you need to look at the world around you and the one inside you and realized no you're not stupid no you're not dumb no youre not that unique or special and the life you live is the life hundreds if not thousands of women have lives like yours so no you're not isolated in this and you should just use your brain. Like respectfully, learn to think for yourself instead of guzzling up information you get online like an empty vessel. Think. At least try to.

I am INCREDIBLY successful and I know this for a fact because I achieved all my goals before I hit 25, and then some more. The person I was at 20 is literally supreme I was waking up at 4 am and doing a full face make up and walking these streets in Louboutin's in winter then yesterday I took a walk in sandals and shorts and a bun no make up no nothing. And it made sense why girls in these spaces chase aesthetics so much, because you feel like that's what success is placed to look like and you feel like okay looking a certain way is half od it, but it's not. I recently watched this video by a billionaire heiress (The name is Albina something on YT) and she said how when her family was almost bankrupt she was posting in chanel and Armani every ten seconds then when they made their billions back she couldn't care less. Which ties to the Anna Delvey paradox of how she'd run around in H&M and had billionaires and people fooled. My husband and I were at a networking summer event thing hosted by his office and there's this one person I wanted to be friends with so bad I'd commit crimes for it that has such a stake in the spaces I'm in and we were introduced bla bla and I remember him pointing out a lady with a Birkin and saying that's the one he'd take home for the night, bring to a cruise and then ghost because it was obvious she was hungry for status because who brings a Birkin to a fun networking event? That's Monaco escort behavior the real ladies that were secure in themselves and positions didn't come to compete for social class. A hypergamy lady n Instagram said that Chanel jacket (God i hate it SO MUCH) is getting you escort profiled, like the chin fillers and lip injections. You walk in the affluent areas and usually couples that are matched are very average looking the bombshell platinum blondes with BBLS are usually with Donald Trump type oldies. My husband's neighbor is a polish couple that looks so painfully average Priscilla Zuckerberg and husband look vogue worthy. When my husband and I met I was wearing a plain asf blue Ralph Lauren sweater and nameless pants and a tote bag not dior tote like the instagram totes that look like they cost 0.003 $ to make and push back braids and nothing else.

Why am I telling you all these?

Aesthetics are a measure of how insecure you are. When I was 20 during covid and I'd just come from whatever tf high school was surviving by staying lowkey and being the power in silence I was secure in myself because everyone around me was by all means , and by birth and upbringing, better than me and I'd found my space in that, then went back home and felt the need to prove to everyone I am successful and bought a car renovated the house all that donated to the local school was slaying in covid looking like a rich k-drama housewife plunging through my money knowing now I have no source of it because I was insecure and anted everyone to know actually yes I did make it. Hair done 24/7 broke quarantine to get a facial throwing money around like all and no I didnt go bankrupt but damn I blew up so much and for what? And then came back with almost no money staring from almost zero again dripping in YSL and coco Chanel and full glam in summer sun and the perfect social media posts.

There's a lady in my church that gives me so much pressure just by the way she exists. And she's so- simple. Sunday she came in a simple linen set and hair in a simple low ponytail and natural nails clear gel perpendicular to that chair and I was just thinking JESUS I want to be her so much. Such effortless elegance. Yet she bikes around and brings her 'tacky' Stanley cup and has this one suede bag (I have BEGGED her for the brand holy gatekeeping) that she brings everywhere and this cheappp mint gum that I tried once and almost threw up. She gives me so much pressure I. When I see her I immediately check my posture and think maybe I overdid it with the leather bag? She has that laid back Kerry Washington confidence and she's so plain looking? There's a lady in my gym that I'm conmsidering just giving free coahing and lessons to because? Platinum bleach blonde extensions that I know for a FACT are ruining your hair ma'am. And she's so- perfect- but no. It's just- I feel bigger next to her. By textbook definition she's what makes it to the thumbnails of those female level up videos but ? ?? I just don't feel it. And I've been thinking about it because when I was 20 she would have given me so much pressure and I'd be thinking maybe I need a new Dior palette?

Achieving your goals does have a lot to do with how you look I will not lie BUT on today's episode of I know what I want to say but don't know how to say it, PLEASE stop listening to these people and just think about it. Just think about it. I tell my girls to ditch the designers and go thrifting for no name brands because that Bulgari isn't sending the message you're thinking it does. And obviously I lost the plot of what I was going to say BUT i still stand by what I said. Even if it's not what I was going to say.

WHAT i was going to say is more often than not that has nothing to do with how successful you are and then give you a How_To_Actually_Be_Succesful list. Which would've been choose 3 things you want to work on and forget the rest. Washing your face 3 times is stripping you of natural oils and will not make you a millionaire, and neither will waking up at 4 am? So much of that information is so mepty which is why you need to learn to think for yourself. "MiLLiOnaiRE HaBitS" lol no no one is doing all that stop. Open a business work on what does any of that have to do with working out at 5 am? Millionaires are made by businesses not investing and not drinking chia? Clear minds are made by reducing the noise input ie delete social media do NOT keep up with current affairs what does waking up that early have to do with any of it? So much of the information out there is so much trash and GOD I'm glad I wasn't watching Iman Ghanzi at 20 bc I tried watching it and I was like do you hate your followers? Then turns out he sells courses so ah ok I get it now it makes sense. EsCapE tHe MaTrix lol dominate the matrix why would you leave a controlled space for whatever is out there? ManiFeSt please stop. One Hell of an Unpopular Opinion #05

Apology Tour completely dismantles the very thought of Stolitz ever being a remotely healthy relationship once they actually become canon on account of AT proving that Stolas doesn't truly love Blitzø for who he is but rather the idealized version of him that Stolas created within his own head and could be replaced by anyone who's willing to take/play Stolas' idealized role of a partner. __________

As much as I hate Full Moon for wasting so much of the audiences time, it did give us that scene where Blitzø was finally sick of Stolas' shit and told him off for it. However, since it's HB the show immediately tries to run damage control in it's next episode, Apology Tour. This is not only another episode that I despise but it's also the one that solidified my hatred for Stolas and his character. In the beginning of Apology Tour, Stolas bitches and moans over how Blitzø is still making their "relationship" about sex when, news flash, it's ALWAYS been about sex because you, Stolas, have kept it that way to the point where your victim feels like he has to sleep with you in order to DESERVE to keep his OWN BUSINESS RUNNING!

And Blitzø isn't wrong! Their "relationship" has always been, as Blitzø worded it back in Season #01 of HB, "a transactional fucking." Why would he see it as anything different when that's how its always been? Now, how does Stolas reply to this?

Honestly, this IS very shocking Stolas as I believe this might be the first time where you and Blitzø have interacted with one another where you're not blatantly sexualizing or romanticizing him on screen! After this he says that Blitzø should respect the fact that he isn't in the mood to sleep with or even speak to him right now. Mind you, whenever Blitzø has told Stolas in the past that he isn't in the mood to sleep with him or be flirted with, Stolas has respected that notion ONE TIME which was after the fiasco at Ozzie's back from Season #01. Otherwise, Stolas hasn't respected his boundaries for shit. Boundaries are important but you two aren't in a real relationship and even if you were respect is still a two way street. If you command respect from someone you choose to CONTINUE to disrespect on a CONSTANT/CONSISTENT basis then why the hell should they respect you? If it wasn't for his book, Blitzø wouldn't have any incentive to cross paths with Stolas at all.

Anyway, literal seconds later, Stolas tells Blitzo how he got invited to an annual anti-Blitzø party and comments on how he's above such silly nonsense only for him to quickly change his tune upon seeing Blitzø's annoyed and enraged reaction to seeing that Verosika is behind this petty pity party.

This starts a back and forth with Stolas demanding that Blitzø leaves. This results in Blitzø, yet again, reinstating on what their relationship truly is and how Stolas fetishizes him which discomforts Stolas because deep down he knows what Blitzø is saying is true.

Now, I won't get into the conversation that takes place after this comment as the critical side of the Helluva Boss fandom on Tumblr has already (rightfully) torn it to shreds. So instead, I'll save us all some time by simply skipping ahead to when Stolas is at the party after that Incubus guy (that rabbid Stolitz shippers hate) asks him if he wants to dance and why I despise that entire scene.

We see that Blitzø is uncomfortable with this and Stolas KNOWS that he's uncomfortable with this random guy asking Stolas to dance with him as Stolas made DIRECT EYE CONTACT with Blitzø! Now, Blitzø does effectively advise that Stolas take up the Incubus' offer with a hand gesture HOWEVER for Stolas to claim that he's always been in love with Blitzø and that he has eyes for him and him alone only to later MAKE OUT WITH A STRANGER just proves and validates Blitzø's feelings that you don't actually love or care about him! And moments before this scene Stolas says this.

THEN GO AND FIND THAT PERSON AS LITERALLY ANYBODY CAN DO THAT! YOU DO NOT LOVE BLITZØ, YOU MERELY LOVE THE CONCEPT OF BEING IN A RELATIONSHIP WITH HIM BECAUSE TO YOU, YOU SEE HIM AS A "CHILDHOOD FRIEND" WHEN IN REALITY YOU KNEW HIM AND HUNG AROUND HIM FOR ONE DAY SINCE YOUR FATHER BOUGHT HIM TO BE YOUR PLAYMATE FOR A SINGLE DAY! ... *Ahem.* In conclusion, there's no amount of future retconning that Viv and Spindlehorse can do to successfully make Stolitz appear as a genuinely healthy ship without trashing the entirety of Apology Tour but even that would create/introduce an entire new set of problems. __________

Okay, I'm by no means an expert and I have never worked on a production team of an anime, but I'm pretty sure that a bunch of people do watch it before releasing it in public, so can someone please tell me who in the world approved this:

No, I'm not over-exaggerating things—Sae literally stayed in the air for a whole 3 seconds with no movement; yes, I counted. He was just floating. Like, c'mon! I understand that Blue Lock has some crazy shots and moves, but they all are realistically possible! Whatever Sae is doing here is straight up Shaolin Soccer shi.

Just look at his face.

And the biggest problem is that we really can't do anything about it—there's only one Blue Lock anime and no matter how much we hate it, we don't have any other options to watch. Which, I'm afraid, is something the studio knows. I also think that neither Kaneshiro-san or Nomura-san can do much 'cause there are definitely some contracts involved.

Honestly, Nagi's goal is how the whole anime should've been like.

We all really would've excused the Third selection if the U-20 would've been done right.

And I find it so funny that now people are praising the S1 animation. This situation reminds of the idiom, "In the country of the blind, the one-eyed man is the king" because being truly and brutally honest, only the starting episodes of S1 got some good animations, after that, the season's animation becomes, let's say, lukewarm.

Y'know, I'm rather sad now instead of being angry. Like, imagine being Kaneshiro-san or Nomura-san and seeing your work get a treatment like this—Blue Lock got what it takes to be the top anime despite belonging to the sports genre. As much as the storyline is important, the visual appeal is too for any anime because why else would I watch it?

Now that I think of it, remember when Nomura-san took a near month long break? He probably asked the studio to show him a glimpse of how things are going on and then after seeing the animation, he just went into depression. /j

Wrap up thoughts:

They showered/bathed together 3 times in one episode and thats insane. Lmao whatever guys 😂 this was just an excellent episode showcasing their closeness, their intimacy, their silliness, their individuality and their soft spoken nature with each other. It showed the way they consistently consider each other, what the other wants and needs. I don't think I have anything to expand on from what I've already said above. I really loved this episode. Fully plan on the last episode making me cry.

Why I hated the new AvA Episode: how you butcher your entire shows cast, their personalities, motives and likeability In one episode.

Before I start angry ranting I wanna say that I love this show regardless and I mean no harm to the creative people behind it. I think they did a fantastic job providing us a indie animation show through out the years and I wanna thank Alan for inspiring me as an artist. But seriously..... did It really have to be like this?

My opinion may change as I rewatch It a while later or with the relase of the new episodes. I'm well aware of that. So even If It changes, It'll be fun to look back at this.

Thread is long so I'm cutting it under here.

I'm gonna talk about why I don't like about this epsiode, and things that I actually liked, under different titles.

1- The killing of characters for the sake of plot

This is something that's at this point happened SO MANY TIMES through out the entierty of AvA/M It fucking dissapoints me.

The first time this happened was In The Showdown, here we had Dark (and Chosen) re-introduced to us again for the first time. Within the same 20 minute episode / season we already said goodbye to Dark. The reason why he was there and killed afterwards was to reveal Second's powers. That's literally It. The entire point of that episode and Dark's death was so we could get Orange's powers revealed.

Now I'm actually okay with The Showdown's short comings as a season because well, It's old. It was much more low budget both In terms of writing and animation. But that still made me really angry about how they killed off a character just for the shock and plot point of Second's powers. You don't have to kill off a character who Is important to the series just so we can put emphasis on another. It's just really sad for Dark (WHICH I'LL TOUCH MORE ON LATER).

The second time this happened was The King, which I'm more okay with, because there was a reason why Gold and Pink died. To set up a relationship between Purple and K.O. but even that was very rushed, since we had no clues or hints about their backstories before the two episodes where It was revealed.

And finally, coming to this episode, Mitsi. Now before I talk about her I wanna say that as much as I don't like Victim getting a love interest, I'm okay with her and that. I'm okay with Victim and her and how they were once a couple. But It just really rubs off the wrong way when you introduce us one of the only confirmed female characters of the show and make her a love interest. On top of that- you kill her off. Why? to make a reason for Victim's anger. The problem Is that Victim already had a reason to be angry at Alan. I don't think he needed a love interest to be killed just so he can start planning for revenge. You already showed how he as PTSD, (which was done In an excellent way and one of the things I really liked about the episode), you can just build on top of that Instead of having someone else killed for him. If you want us to feel pity for Victim- we already did! He was already such a complex character and a story about how abuse changes a person, but now the plot has literally just turned into ''You killed my wife so I hate you!''.

2 - Chosen, my poor boy Chosen.

TCO deserves his own section because oh my god they did him SO DIRTY.

I hate how they potrayed Chosen in this episode more than anything else. He turned from a character that I loved so much to.... what? one dimensional guy who does not care about ones he killed...? What happened to scenes in Showdown where he was clearly against Dark's ideas of destroying the internet. You know, where he LITERALLY FOUGHT HIM NOT TO. Did he do that all for no reason?

Chosen, until this episode, was always presented as a character who was misunderstood and afraid of coming to terms with whats happening around him. He excused Dark destroying the internet because he literally had no one else to go to (atleast thats how I interpreted it BUT I GUESS NOT). He was shown be hesitant when Dark was doing those things, that he actually did not agree with his ideas. I and many others believed that he was gonna be redeemed and be a part of the future episodes, but now what?

He literally killed Mitsi with no hesitation, no holdback, no regret. You took a character that was set to be redeemed and gave a reason to hate him. Sure, It was in the past, and It was in Agent's POV, but like If he is the one we are supposed to cheer for, why? I just don't get it. You made me absolutely hate a character that I loved so much and I despise that.

3- You hyped Second's powers only to make it ''just another thing''

What I mean by that is... I thought Second's powers were special to him. I really love Second, he is my favourite character in the show. In The Box they showed us that yes, Second's powers are special, no other stickfigure can do what he does- bring things to life. But now It all just feels so predictable. Because we saw where his powers are sourced from, what they do and what they mean. He turned from a character that excited me about the big reveal to... Oh. It's just that. Whenever an animator brings a stickfigure to life the green magic happens. Second is an animator. Hooray.

4- All your characters are one dimensional

I already kind of touched on this but I really need to type all this out In a simple way because It drives me crazzzy, and It's also very funny.

Victim turned from a character who was abused and then became the abuser himself to ''You killed my wife''.

Chosen turned from a character that was misunderstood, had nowhere else to go and no one else to ''I killed people because... because.. I'm mad. Yeah''.

Second was hyped to be a character with special abilities and powers to ''Oh I guess I'm connected to this Instead of being independant with my own lore''.

Dark was always just a character of ''I'm here to destroy, that's all I do.''. They could have brought him back and showed him display atleast a hint of empathy, but nope, he still Is just ''The Dark Lord''. 5- My thoughts about this series- final conclusion.

Changed. That's all I can say.

For me this show has always been about how abuse changes a person. How what your precieved as influences you and destroys you from the inside and out.

Dark, Chosen, Second and Victim are very special to me. They all come from the same story of being tortured by their creator, yet, they all end up in different situations.

Victim was abused over and over again. He found a way to stay alive, but his anger and rage was still within him. He had turned into the abuser which he had despised, doing awful things.

Chosen was used as an adblocker, a tool. When he escaped he was happy, but never free, as he was constantly being dragged down to do things he didn't want to or be chased around by people who want him dead.

Dark was created just to be a weapon. He escaped with the help of Chosen, found a way to call him his friend, but ended up falling for his internal desire to take revenge on what hurt him.

Second found a way to make ammends with his abuser. He became his friend, forgive him, and found a way to live a life happily with his friends. He didn't know about the truth behind Alan and his wrong doings because he was just... all too naive.

For me, Ava was a story about them. The four brothers who went through the same thing, but ended up being against eachother. It was meaningful to me In a matter that It was there to tell a story. Their story.

But now they are all just ''I hate you because you did this''. And I hate that. I hate how after an entire year of waiting this is how one of the biggest plot points Is revealed. It feels disrespectful to them. I hate how we are most likely never gonna see them In the same room. I hate how Dark was completly shrugged off, how Chosen turned into a villian. How Victim's motives were just cliches. How they are all just cliches!!!

When I was waiting for this episode I of course knew that what I wanted from the show wasn't gonna be it. That my theories were not gonna be true, that I knew I was gonna be let down. But I thought I would be let down In a good way. I just feel bad now because the characters I very much loved have been turned into cliches right In front of my eye. I thought my expectations were gonna be broken In the best way possible. But honestly, this was the worst It could have been.

Okay first off deeply concerned about a few things

Like yes yay the elsa bitch guy getting beat up was great but like how fucking easy is it going to be for him to turn around and go hey these peasants attacked me in my own home and it's back to them about to be executed. Like there's no fucking way there isn't consequences for this

Did anybody else notice millie getting punched by elsa bitch really fucking hard right in her lower stomach. Because I sure did! What if she's not pregnant after that what if she comes to terms with being pregnant and starts to get excited only to find out her baby was murdered before it even had a chance.

There were...a lot of fucking pill bottles there. Were they empty or did stolas just mass order his fucking pills. I am worried that via will start to take them. After all she's alone in a traumatic household with her world burning down around her

Speaking of via her powers!! Coming in! And them being sporadic as fuck and tied to her emotions? Can't wait for her to literally blow everybody up that'll be a fun time.

Still on via, bot really a concern just something I'm thinking about. The way via knew immediately not to argue with her mother, or even attempt to get her phone back or get an extra one or anything at all is very telling. The way she knew to just immediately put her headphones in and keep her head down and to go hide in her room. The way she went even further to hide in her closet before starting to sing? (How many times do we think she heard her mom berate her dad for singing) i think via knows her dad was being abused but hasn't yet fully realized what that means and is (understandablely) having a lot of feelings in every single direction.

Luna seems so much more happier and relaxed! She has friends now! She's laughing and smiling and not wearing exclusively dark clothes! She's openly calling blizo dad with out the grumbling! She just seems a lot more settled and happy now and honestly good for her!!

Idk why but I was not expecting stolas to sound like that. Just the way he said pussy caught me off guard for some reason. There were a couple other times where that happened but I don't really feel like listening them all out. Also. Fucking weird to be seeing stolas's pupils now.

Also!!! Stolas's face as m&m tore into each other. Wow. You know he was freaking the fuck out there and reliving some shit.

Speaking of background faces; the imp servants at the palace. Yah they all looked miserable and terrified. Not surprised but still yikes! With stolas they were always very much done with his shit , tired, and resigned but none of them seemed really terrified/upset like they do now.

Love that we don't really get overly nice manipulation Stella on via. Like she didn't even pretend to give a shit about her for more than that one second did she.

Blitzo calling stolas his bottom instead of just... literally anything else. Like he literally did not have to do that. But also confirmed stolitz dom/sub contract? 👀 or is this blitzo being himself and I'm reading too much into it.

HANNIBAL🩸🍽️

I finally watched Hannibal after having it on wait list for 4 years and I am glad I did because WOW!! I will analyze it and write what I think the show represents, this is my personal opinion of the show.

The series is one if not the best thriller I have ever watched, I am mad that there is still not season 4 like, the actors are getting older come on!!

I loved all the episodes and characters specially Will, Freddie, Alana, Dr. Chilton, Jack and Margot. Dr. Chilton is the best!!💅

The relationships between everyone are interesting, specially between Hannibal and Will. The fact that Will, the main character is so difficult to understand, “an unreliable narrator”. During the whole show you will question who truly is Will Graham, but for me he is just different for what everyone thinks of him including Hannibal.

I think Hannibal with a god complex and narcissist traits sees himself in Will like looking into a mirror and his own reflection hits his eyes and falls for him, but it is all that it is a reflection.

Now with Will, he is a really complicated character but despite everything I don’t think he is a killer same as Bedelia said in the last season.

Will is easily manipulable and vulnerable at the beginning of the first season he is presented to us as an awkward boy who is constantly fighting his demons. He is said to have Asperger syndrome and a empathy disorder, pure empathy according to Hannibal. He is unique and interesting and Hannibal starts to psychoanalyze him all the time until the point that it becomes obsessive.

The thing is that Will is literally an unreliable narrator so you can’t really tell when he is lying and when he is not, but we can try and assume that when he is in his mental palace he is being sincere.

After all that I still think that he is a sacrifice, why? Because for me everything that he is doing since Beverly death is an act. After getting out of prison in season 2 he have already started a plan to catch Hannibal and put him behind bars.

“Catch a fish once and if it gets away, it's a lot harder to catch the second time.” Will Graham

This quote means a lot, it shows that he will do anything to get Hannibal. Will is a fisherman not a hunter he attracts his victims and waits for the right time and prey but that also means that he is ready to caught more fishies until he gets the one that he wants.

Will after getting out of prison starts to change he is ready to become Hannibal to perform an illusion but he is not ready for the consequences this brings. Will doesn’t know that Hannibal is falling in love with him the more Will uses Hannibal as a suit the more distorted his reality becomes, he starts to see and feel the world as Hannibal and he also falls in love with him, he fights that instinct and is in constant fight of what feelings are his and what are from Hannibal he can’t tell where he ends and where does Hannibal begin anymore. He feels hate but and unexplainable infatuation over him, and it gets worse through all the 2 season.

At the end of the 2 season we see that Hannibal kill Abigail, this is when the cup finally breaks but it gets back up. I think it means that since Will has finally lose what thought was important to him by Hannibal he is ready to give himself up but instead he decides to follow him and I think since there that he wants to make him suffer the same way he did by loosing the most important person in his life.

Bedelia once told him of the whim Hannibal could have…

In season 3 he does not want to put him behind bars but make him experience the emotional pain of loosing your most important person, Will himself.

Now talking about the stag that Will sees, I think is meant to portray someone Will used to know. It is not him the same way it is with the others killers, Will is not the monster in his mind palace but them who is that stag? Well we don’t know much about Will childhood but the appearance of the stag gets triggered first when Hobbs is killed by Will passionately and with Hannibal that is a stag himself.

Then we have Will paternalism for Abigail and how he considers her his daughter. He sees himself in her that is why he feels so vulnerable. He wants her to have a good life maybe a life he couldn’t have. As I said we don’t know anything about his family and the reason he is obsess with Hobbs, then the stag appears feels like it was triggered by memory that he wanted to bury, the encephalitis didn’t help his case. (He is also obsess with rescuing dogs which can imply that his father killed his dog or something like that)

With this the stag is probably his father or uncle in my opinion the trauma and his dark past is always chasing him.(And he sees Hannibal also as the stag pointing the similarities with that person and why Will is so confused and conflicted when the time comes to do something with Hannibal)

And Will doesn’t want to be a hunter but he will become one and kill it (Hannibal) at the end and eat it, making a parallel with first season. (Hobbs and Abigail).

Or maybe the stag represents his father’s victims and other innocent ones at an extend. And that is why it appears to help Will kill Hannibal and other killers in his mind palace (the rage of the victims and their revenge) it represents what Will considers as justice, as a pure empath he is good at understanding killers but to feel the agonizing pain from their victims must be what consumed him.

Hannibal is represented in this case as a stag too because he is Will’s prey and Will grows horns in prison because he is feeling that rage grow more and more until it completely consumes him. (He falls victim of the devil)

Following Hannibal to Italy and when he surrenders to the police, makes him rethink what Hannibal’s truly is for him and maybe stars to understand that he actually doesn’t have as much hate in his heart as he used to and that kill him inside. He is falling slowly but surely in love with the devil and god probably won’t forgive it, he is constantly full of guilt.

For Hannibal he once said that death would feel like a gift so maybe he is expecting to be killed and eaten by his one and only love one day and that is why he never actually killed Will.

okay here are my thoughts on dw season 15 so far

robot revolution - enjoyable, writing is mostly passable, i like belinda as a character, and i think rtd needs to permanently give up writing social commentary before it gives me a fucking aneurysm. luckily he was only trying to bash me over the head with commentary for about 5 minutes in this episode so i can overlook that. i'm still sick of ncuti crying in every freaking episode. i like that belinda gets to actually be somewhat of an active participant in her first episode. the concept is 10/10 hilarious doctor who nonsense. execution is lacking. some of the dialogue is very unnatural. the pacing is mostly fine but those last 5-10 minutes are super rushed. but it was one of the only rtd2 episodes i could actually see myself rewatching on purpose for fun so that's not bad

lux - i kind of liked it and i also kind of hated it sooooooo much. the longer i think about it, the more i dislike it. belinda lost a lot of her character in this episode imo. it's like the entire thing is tailor made to make belinda and fifteen get along but belinda apologizes for something that literally wasn't even her fault and fifteen does 0 personal reflection or growth and doesn't apologize for being a fucking weirdo and asking her to travel with him right after his best friend on the planet died. also rtd needs to stop breaching race as a topic because it's bad literally every time. the doctor shutting up his poc companion's concerns about racism on her first trip is.... first of all it's a familiar sight (i'm so sorry martha you deserve so much better) and second of all it's just fucking ridiculous. (and frankly twelve would not have done this. twelve would have punched someone in the face.) mr ring a ding was fine at first but i started rolling my eyes when the giggle thing came up and it was revealed he was in the pantheon too. i think there's been a lot of really high stakes doctor who in this era and this should have been a lower stakes story. when there's a god character every few episodes, it just cheapens the impact. the resolution was stupid (what the fuck.... was going on..... lol.... did he turn into all light in the universe.... what is happening on this show....). and i'm ngl i hated the 4th wall break scene. it felt mean spirited and it was way too so that just happened! mcu humour. the blink joke was funny though. i also hated that rtd just decided to lampshade his poor writing at the end instead of.... writing a better episode?

(also. this is a nitpick but i'm nothing if not a pedant. mr ring a ding was not a harbinger. i don't know why rtd wrote that. a harbinger is someone or something that signals the approach of something ELSE. mr ring a ding is just the god of light. not a harbinger of the god of light. unless he's a harbinger of something else but he's doing a shit terrible job of that)

anyway. this season is 0.5 for 2 so far (much better than s1's 0 for 2 in the first 2 episodes) so... idk. we'll see. i'll keep watching. the setups are also kinda pissing me off because they're very obvious and i don't expect rtd to be able to pay off anything he has set up so far. but we'll see. maybe he got possessed by a writer who can actually do payoff when he was writing those bits.

About Maddie's reaction to ~the incident

One of the things I think is important to point out, because I haven't seen or read anyone talking about it, is Maddie's reaction when Buck told her the truth about the basketball incident. When Buck first arrived, she was all smiles, probably happy to have Buck there. Then she asked about how Eddie was doing and Buck said he hadn't talked to him because what happened on the basketball court was not an accident.

Buck confessed that he might have meant to hurt Eddie because he was pissed, felt left out, and he guessed he was trying to get Eddie's attention (I’m not gonna go Buddie here, but he legit literally said exactly this which !!!).

Her face started to morph, the change in her whole demeanor, the horror of it all... she was really really mad. I don't think JLH got the proper credit for it. It's truly remarkable, her face spoke volumes about everything that was going through her head at the moment. You could see Maddie thinking about her past, about Doug, about how he hurt her and the terrible ways in which he justified that behavior as she was telling Buck that you do not hurt people to get their attention and not to do it again.

The episode didn't make that connection explicit (they had her babbling about Sarahs instead, more on that in the last paragraph), and I KNOW that if roles were reversed, part of the fandom would've lost their mind, since they love to portray Eddie as violent and abusive towards Buck when there's nothing in canon to back that up, quite the opposite as of this episode actually. Since Eddie was the one who got hurt, it was no big deal, it was pretty much forgotten immediately after. I thought it was a huge deal, I thought tptb didn't really address how problematic that was. I thought the only one who reflected the gravity of the situation was Jen, maybe thanks to her character's past.

BTW, I don't think it's in character for Buck to do this, I think he does know better, and he really isn't and hasn't ever been the type to resort to violence. Having said that, that's what tptb decided to do on screen, maybe as a way to show he was struggling with his identity... But that’s kinda terrible, like, he’s confused at this point about his feelings so his first instinct is to harm his friend out of jealousy? Also, we didn't get to see anything else on the matter after. It was such an odd choice, tbh, cause yes, Buck and Eddie probably talked about it for a second and then made up offscreen, but to have a character be violent towards his friend just to push a storyline forward, a storyline about bisexuality of all things, disregarding everything about said character and then not acknowledging it... Some very bad choices were made. Once again, I think tptb prioritized moving the plot forward over making sense and that's just something I truly hate with my whole heart.

Characters cannot have their choices and actions dictated by the plot or, at least, it can't feel that way to the audience. That's just bad writing through and through. Tptb did this a lot this season, and I understand that time was pressing because of the strike and all, but they need to do better. They are professionals getting paid to do a job, the least they can do is actually make it all make sense for the fans and stay away from toxic portrayals of LGBTQ+ characters (Hen cheating, anyone?).

The whole story about the Sarahs was really kinda ridiculous, honestly, I think they just had to give Jen more to do but a follow up without it would've been much better. Of course, seeing as their intention was to completely ignore the gravity of the situation, they simply couldn't mention Doug at all cause that would've required Buck and Eddie discuss this seriously instead of completely forgetting about it.

I decided that I’mma take a big step back from the 911 fandom, because if last episode has taught me anything is that you guys have forgot to enjoy the show you’re watching.

As soon as the episode is over, all I’m seeing is unnecessary Tommy hate, people giving up on Buddie and people criticizing people for giving up, people saying Karen is oc, and that Eddie was acting out of character, and blah blah blah, and like all of you are wrong LMAO.

I think the problem is that everyone is watching this show with the expectation of watching the entire’s show’s future in one episode. Y’all want everything now, and it’s just not gonna happen like that, and on top of that, y’all want everything to be what y’all expected. So, let me crush that shit for you.

NO, they’re not gonna bring up Tommy’s past. They actually don’t give a fuck about what that man did, and you know why? Because the producers of whoever on this show literally called up Lou and was like “Hey, we need someone to be Buck’s boyfriend, wanna do it?” And that mf was like “Yeah, sure why not.” That’s most likely what happened. You know why? Because Tommy is only gonna be here for a very short time, so who gives a flying fuck. And Tommy in episode 5 wasn’t even that damn bad. Eddie acted the same way in the other cursed episode years ago. The only difference I would say about them is that Eddie expects Buck to believe in curses because he known him longer, so now it’s more endearing and induces playful banter. And with Tommy, this relationship with Buck is more new and his irritation comes from a place of genuine annoyance, instead of more endearing like Eddie. That’s it! That does not mean that Tommy is the devil’s incarnate, calm down.

NO, Eddie isn’t going to bust out the rainbow flag and touch nipples with Buck in one episode. ESPECIALLY now. Look, I want Buddie to happen, more than the next person. But this is Eddie Diaz we’re talking about. Eddie has a lot of shit to work through, and I’ll be honest with you, we probably won’t see Buddie become official until around the end of season 8. It’s the hard truth, but take comfort in knowing that this is indeed Eddie’s season—hence, the plethora of photo shoots and spotlight this man had recently.

NO, the characters weren’t oc. Karen had the right to be upset that Hen was always missing out on their family’s big moments, and from the fact that Hen doesn’t really try her hardest to take off of work. In my opinion, I think that’s a great way to open up the topic of the 118 becoming everything for these characters—like Hen, Bobby, Buck, Eddie, Chim—that they would forget that they have family at home, because the 118 is also their family, as well. no i mean, is that so hard to consider? They work these 24 hour shifts, and even sometimes longer and go through these traumatic events all the time. Of course there’s going to be some intense loyalty and bonds that would seem to “overshadow” what they have at home. That is actually a very interesting plot direction the writers could explore.

I could go on and on about the wild takes in the 911 fandom, because there’s just so many that I didn’t realize before. But can we all please, genuinely, shut the fuck up. Like for two seconds and enjoy our show. Because let me tell you what’s happening, you guys are theorizing yourselves TO DEATH. You guys are creating these wild expectations and you are setting yourselves up for disappointment. It’s good to hope for the things you want and sometimes it’s fun to theorize, but TAKE A BREATH. Because we are starting to look like crazy people, and let me remind you that these people SEE THE SHIT YOU’RE SAYING. You don’t think Oliver, Kenny, whoever the fuck is watching you rant on and on about how Tommy is a bastard and complaining that Eddie’s not gay yet. House of The Dragon 2x8 Spoilers and Review.

This is gonna be a rant but I'm still putting a spoiler warning cause some people were waiting for the entire season to drop before they watched. I was spoiled during the week and I'm mad as hell about it. Yes we all know it's fuck book canon atp but at least make sure the story flows and make actual sense.

The finale was mid. I felt like there were a lot of things missing and it was kinda confirmed. We're gonna have to wait 2 long years and knowing season 3 is about to just be the assassinations of characters because season 2 didn't really do anything, nothing moved story wise except the death of Jaehaerys, the sowing of the dragons seeds and the death of one of the realest women in Westeros. It was just glorified fanfiction and most definitely not the good kind.

I'm begging Ryan and Sara to please read or at least have someone else read the source material before they get back in that writers room.

Lucerys, Visenya and Jaehaerys deaths were supposed to haunt the narrative for the entirety of the season, how they could fumble it so bad that it just feels like a drop of water on your hands while washing it is beyond me. Blood and Cheese felt insignificant as fuck considering it was also a major event that led to the destruction and death of one of the most prominent houses in Westeros, majority of the Targaryen's lineage and the death of most of the dragons. I should've known when they started promoting the 2nd season as Alicent vs Rhaenyra instead of Rhaenyra vs Aegon II, y'know the usurper, that it was gonna be some bullshit. The other major events in the second season, Rhaenys' death also felt brushed aside. This is why the show needs to be at least 12-14 episodes. Abolish the 8-10 episodes shit.

I'm gonna get hate for this but could they please let this Rhaenicent relationship go! For the love of everything that is holy, let it go. Season 1 focused on them, fine. Season 2 you gave them a reunion, crazy but okay. There was literally no reason for a second reunion. Sure the scenes were beautiful, shout-out to the actors but let it go. The plot already felt cheapened when they chalked up the dance to one big misunderstanding. Which is crazy considering, Otto and the small council literally had this entire plan set in motion since Rhaenyra was named heir and even a little before. I need Ryan to understand that sometimes friendships just end. Sometimes your friends cross the lines one too many times and you just need to let them go. Alicent overstepped and crossed the lines with Rhaenyra it was downright disrespectful for Rhaenyra to even be in her presence at all tbh. This is the same woman who made her life a living hell, raised her children to be vile, hateful, spiteful little shits towards their own sister and her children, embarrassed her and tormented her in court, started and participated in the rumors and smear campaign about Rhaenyra's character and children, essentially ran her out of her own home, lied about the death of her father and the news didn't come from her or the council immediately but after and that's only because they were holding her former mil hostage and she got away. Alicent knew Viserys was addled and delirious and out of his mind when he was rambling about the conqueror's dream (she didn't know about the prophecy but still), so nothing he said was supposed to be taken seriously and just because he said “Aegon” she decided to be spiteful/hateful and usurp the throne knowing it would've hurt Rhaenyra. I don't know why people gloss over this fact either. Aegon said it himself, his father had years to name him heir and he remained steadfast to Rhaenyra's claim. Aemond said it again this season, the small council and his mother plotted to usurp the throne. What more was there to talk about? The only talking that should've been happening is Rhaenyra signing her and the council's execution warrants for treason. This all started because Rhaenyra omitted the truth about who took her virginity btw. She didn't lie, she never slept with Daemon in that brothel. Not to mention that Alicent son also killed her child!! Let it go!

I'm gonna reiterate this point but we didn't need to spend all that time with Daemon in Harrenhal and his hallucinations. That should've taken 3 episodes top and then they could've had him work on his relationships with his family instead. Especially his daughters. The only thing I liked coming out of the Daemon hallucinations is the prophecy. DAENERYS STORMBORN TARGARYEN IS THE “PRINCE” WHO WAS FUCKIN PROMISED!! NOT THAT BUM JON SNOW. Fuckin finally. We could lay the discourse to rest. GRRM could've posted it on a billboard for the entire world to see and it still would've had the select few that will insist on Jon being the one who the prophecy was talking about. The events in the show and the book supported this btw so I don't even know what the argument was about but let's lay it to rest now. Although show wise it doesn't fuckin matter either way because D&D fucked the last seasons but book lore wise this is what GRRM intended or intends. Still waiting on the next book! The term “prince” was gender neutral. And everybody celebrates. Daemon swearing allegiance to his Queen, as he fuckin should. Raising the army in her name as he should. He's got voices in his head now apparently. Also he has a new friend in Alys, good for him.

Aemond did what he was supposed to do this season. He's still an unhinged psychopath, absolutely no one is surprised. No complaints on my end. I need him to keep his grubby hands to himself though. Helaena gave him his death notice and rubbed in the fact that nobody gave a damn about him in the end, she did that for me.

Criston even though I hate to admit it, same thing. He's still a woman hating piece of shit though and I want him dead immediately. We didn't need all those alicole sex scenes though. We got it, they were fuckin, kudos.

Larys and the small council did what was also expected.

Aegon is still fried. Now he's apparently heading to Essos. He wants to usurp the moniker “Realm's delight” too and to that I say absolutely tf not. That is reserved for pretty women only. Aegon has officially been castrated!! That was for all the women in the realm. It's what he deserved. I don't believe for one second that Sunfyre is dead. I think that'll be a swerve.

I wished we focused on Helaena more though. Her grief was explored a little more than Rhaenyra's but it was also brushed aside. Why? That would've been important to her characterization. Also why did they have Helaena astral project into Daemon's dream? She was so cool as well, like that man didn't have a hand in the death of her son.... You can't make this shit up. The scene was essentially “you killed my kid cool but since you're so good at killing could you get my brother next?” I'm convinced they are doing this shit on purpose. Why do they keep making the female characters in the show this peace seeking, docile beings when they were just as and even more chaotic than their male counterparts (with reason might I add). The men just do the most unhinged shit for glory and in the name of war sake and the women gotta be the peacekeepers even though they're the most wronged.

Alicent's character didn't deserve half the screentime she got because if you cut her scenes in half the majority of them contributed nothing to the moving along of the plot. Absolutely nothing. We already had limited time as is.

Baela and Rhaena I am so sorry you have incompetent people telling your side of the story. Sure they got more lines this season and that's a stretch but they're lacking characterization as well. Ryan and Sara scrapped the Nettles plot, okay (that was fuckin stupid). Nettles had a major role to play. Gave her story to Rhaena in the last two episodes and we still didn't even see her claim Sheepstealer. It's up in the air. Also one of the princesses of the Realm managed to escape and you mean to tell me nobody is looking for her? She just fucked off and that's it. Yeah okay. Also I hated how they wrote her relationship with Jeyne. She was so kind to her in the books and Rhaena actually had a story in the books when she went to stay with her. Sure she would've been living her princess core era life but it's what she deserves. It would've helped flesh out her character as well, led to her hatching Morning and her life after the dance.

Baela lost the majority of her characterization as well even though she's inherently more fleshed out than Rhaena. Baela was chaotic as hell in the books. They swapped her personality in a sort of way with Jace, although he does have a temper (and rightfully so. They did kill his little brother and sister and he seems like the only one who cares) but Baela is supposed to be more unhinged than him. We only caught a few glimpses of her book personality and that's it. Again why are they writing the female characters as these docile, peace seeking beings? They also completely brushed aside their grief concerning their brother/betrothed, sister, mother and grandmother. I'm tired. We kinda got something for Baela in her grief but it was the bare minimum and it was barely mentioned again. Rhaenys was a parent to those girls (more than Daemon at least) and she got a fuck all remembrance. We totally should've gotten even better Jace and Baela's relationship development. We got her being more of his support system though they were each other's. Baela's feelings weren't explored more besides her hating her dad. Unless they're planning to explore it more in season 3 but well y'know 💔. Her telling Jace to stop pouting though and him insisting he's not even though he totally was🤣🤣😭😭. She gathered him and rightfully so. Also their unspoken conversation during the dinner scene with the dragonseeds. Peak wife and husband behavior. I hope we don't have to mourn for what could've been more than we will already be doing.

Rhaenyra character this season was all over the place. They only stick to what her character was from season 1 in episode one and then after that it was like she did a 180. She was destroyed by the grief of her son, daughter and father. They completely forgot that and had her doing the stupidest stuff. She had one of her biggest supporters die as well and it was just cast aside. Development wise we got to see her more open. I'll give them that. They also brushed aside her grief. It felt like Lucerys didn't matter to her in some instances. I have a feeling they're gonna go down the “mad Targaryen” role for her as well. If a woman has to be in power then she has to go crazy. That's what that cult Rhaenyra vibes is giving. I'm not tripping, you guys see it too right? I touched on the second reunion between her and Alicent but her whacking her this last episode was satisfying. I don't trust Alicent's plan and Rhaenyra knows and hopefully she sticks to it. She knows that she has to kill Aegon now. A son for a son. This is who I wanted to see this season. It's like she got back her personality traits in the last episode. She still needs to work on her standing as queen. She had that bum Ulf disrespecting her at the table and she needed to have his tongue expeditiously. Mysaria and her are doomed yuri confirmed. Mysaria has her ear but is only telling her what she wants to hear and that is going to be her downfall. I still can't figure out her angle though but we'll see in season 3. She inadvertently hurt Jace again when she chose Addam to go to Harrenhal. It's like one step forward and then 3 steps back with them. I'm hurt knowing the possible outcome of this situation. Daemon and her reunion were good. I like how she didn't fall back into his arms. Stand on business and continue to stand on business Rhaenyra.

Corlys grief was brushed aside. He didn't really do anything this season besides deny his sons, lie to his wife in his last moments and try to make his legitimate granddaughter heir after laughing off the idea of making his other legitimate granddaughter heir. His ship is finally fixed though. “The Queen Who Never Was ” is the new name of it. I had tears in my eyes, I could admit it. I'm not ashamed. Everything that he's doing now he's doing it for Rhaenys. 😭😭😭😭😭😭 Why did he wait so freaking long to honor her properly though 💔. There is no denying he loved his wife, he just could've loved her better. I'm glad Alyn dragged his ass for being a deadbeat though. Gave his ass a reality check he so richly deserved. He hurt those boys and he deserved to know. Imagine your father could've made your life easier but he decided to be a coward while favoring his other children, a tongue lashing would've been the least he got, I would've fought him. They're on to meet the triarchy though.

Jacaerys character was developed stellar this season. He didn't have plenty of screentime and he was mugging down for most of it but the rage, the grief, the despair was all palpable. He lost a part of his soul in Lucerys and it was there for everybody to see. He didn't get anything to do until the later half but when he got to go he did. I said it before and I'll say it again I love his and Baela's relationship. Him resting his hand in her lap after her scolding and her gently massaging it. Yeah those are real lovers. His beef with Ulf is so personal to me. Like yes threaten that uncouth vermin some more. Really reminded me of his fathers there. It's crazy though how Addam and Jace parallel each other though. Two of the best boys in Westeros that deserve the absolute world. Fate was unkind to them both as well.💔

Shout-out Simon Strong. One of my favorite characters this season along with lil Oscar. I love how he didn't let that traitorous snake Alfred slide. He let his queen know immediately. I love a loyal diva.

Tyland and the triarchy were funny though. Who would've thought I could've shown a Lannister besides Cersei love?!

I'm wrapping up this rant cause it's already so long-winded. The show is only slated for 4 seasons though btw. LMFAO.

So…Stella

As you may notice for the lack of reaction I am sort of falling out of interest with Helluva Boss, which is a shame cause I really liked the potential. I want it to be known I had faith and was skeptical that shipping centering will ruin it but…yeah,it eventually happened. Actually,not the ship,I’d be more inclined as Stolas as a character than the ship.

I could extend but before I do the same as Vivziepop and ignore the subject at hand in favor of Stolas, I’d talk about Stella and her biggest controversy:

Was she ruined?

Well…

Let me explain: something needs to be good in order to be ruined, so at the start of show she wasn’t “good” but she wasn’t “bad” either. Here’s the thing: Stella was pretty one note from the beginning. Before the Circus, all she did was yell, trow things at Stolas, being racist and hiring a hit man right in front of him. Therefore , there is not really a lot to ruin there. Not a really good character honestly.

However, i would say that it takes an incridible amount of talent to ruin such a one note character, and it´s surprising they did managed.

Before i explain this conclusion i´ll say something i have said before, allegations Vivziepop will NEVER beat : Vivienne doesn't like writing women. Ok, i don't know it cause i don't know them personally but thats the way their writing feels, women who are not villanous feel like they are written as a charity, as a comfort price as a "i can't be sexist, i have a show with a lesbian protagonist, look i gave Millie another short story" The only one of her characters i feel there´s an enjoyment instead of "give me props" would be Nifty from Hazbin mostly cause she is a comic relief that doesn't need to much of a backstory (even then, she is also used to advance a male character´s develoment though) , but i´ll continue.

What does Andrealphus even exist? Well, the show needs a charismatic evil villain and it CAN'T be Stella, because that means there would be an enjoyment to her and the writers can't even allow that. Thats when Stella fails.

And here is my bigger problem: Stella is not well constructed, Stella is a tantrum.

When writers have noticed an unintended audience reaction and they portray it or try to fix it on their work, it shows, its mostly obvious when it happens. By season 2, they are aware that (surprise) people have some sympathy for the cheated woman. So they make her meaner, which is eyerolling, unoriginal, annoying , a waste BUT it´s not against her previous characterization , nothing about the little we had seen of her gets really contradicted. Therefore, annoying as it is, it´s possible to give it a pass. The next time she appears she is more loud, more annoying and stupid, the oportunity to be a bigger villain , at least on Stolas´s subplot, taken away so the shinning moments go to a male character instead, in PURE Vivziepop fashion.

Next episode we saw her, even more annoying. There´s one moment thats enjoyable on a sinister way: the scene where she pretends to comfort Octavia, then smiles. Probably implying she will play "understanding mother" in Via´s face but it will be actually poisoning her against Stolas, or manipulating or something that implies getting a bit away from her only trait that is "hating Stolas"

But no, next episode has her literally doing nothing but laugthing IN OCTAVIA´S FACE about their loss. They can't allow anything about her being enjoyable or entertaining, Andrealphus has to be the big and cool menace to comfront, Stella doesn't deserve to be cool for a single second.

Yet the biggest tantrum in this episode is not Stella related. This is one of those moments that i can't stand because i feel like the creators are looking at my face and saying "i think you are stupid"

The whole subplot of IMP refusing to kill the two men to them was probably a great "take that" but deep inside it´s actually begging for the audience to not go, please don't see things diferently, specially how ooc it is for them to not wanting to kill them for money. It´s a very cheap way to talk to audiences.

If the thing wasn't already too much "on your nose" the woman cheated is called "Karen" (please , i think we already have outgrown Karen already as a meme) and is obnoxious as saying "yes, this women don't deserve your sympathy" and it´s just bad because it´s awfully hypocritical : 1) She is framed as evil for requesting the kill but literally killing humans is the job of out main characters , why the show is suddenly so moral about it? . 2)The situation is meant to be a parallel and..no, it´s not the same, the human couple didn't have the power imbalance thing and upperclass pressure Stol/iz had ,it´s not the same situation; even the show ignores their previously stablished nuances

So the show ends up in a double edged sword when the writers think they are supeior to the audience, intelectually and moral but at the same time beg for their approval, they are imploring to not bail at the show. And that, in adition to VM´s lack of interest in female characters , gives a terrible combination.

My conclussion is that the fans are right...the wrong reasons because it´s very valid to be mad about Stella just not "she was villanized for the sake of the ship" no, she was already villanous, what she was was made dumber, lame, wasted and pushed into a mysoginistic trope for the sake of TWO male characters.

I was going to talk about the audience reaction and why i think people are not completely right in the backlash , but thats more like another subject cause writing along i realized that even if it´s for the wrong reasons , the dissapointment is very guaranteed and so is the resentment.

I don't think Stella has real fans, like she was never a good demon, a good character nor framed as tragic. I think what people are mad about is an idea and some sort of audience rebelion against bad writing. Which can be good but sometimes the point can be missing. I can explain it better in another posts.

The money milking makes me sick and don't even get me started on the ai 🫡 I spent 17 bucks today, halfway through the first episode and already out of all the materials I bought. It's disgusting how Everbyte has completely flipped and is practically scamming their players. Based on the prices, it's almost 3 dollars to view one picture 🙄 I would be more than happy to buy a premium package like duskwood for $20 or even 30 but $17 for not even half an episode is a crime 😭😭

Rant 2:

It's crazy how long this game took and yet it's way worse than duskwood. I was expecting a few additions, not subtractions.

Rant 3:

There is no way to see previous media and calls like in duskwood and no chat history like they promised. I never would've thought it was possible, but these mini games are way worse than duskwoods. And I realized how childish it all looks, I hate how we get no explanation for anything we're doing in the game.

Conclusion:

I'm pissed but seeing the anonymous mask gave me life. I need to go replay duskwood to cleanse myself of moonvale 😮‍💨

(Sorry if you don't know it but then I really recommend you to watch the Iron Man movies. (Actually all marvel movies but we're talking about Jarvis here so you best see or more like hear him in Iron Man)

Btw my headcanon is that Nymos is not just any program but also an AI. So and now I will expand the headcanon and say Nymos is an AI that is against AI art and nobody can stop me, hehe.

The Candy Crush comparison makes me laugh every time and it hurts me because it’s true. xD

The thing with the characters being identical with the Duskwood characters... It's a hard topic in my eyes.

Some people say it way too early to judge this. And it's true. We didn't saw much now. But I do think we can already judge them a bit by what we saw. And when we compare it with how the Duskwood characters were in the first episode, I do think you can see that there's not much yet, sadly.

Like, we had Thomas, the idiot in love with problems to take criticism. We had Jessy the hanger-on that were clinging to Dan but then decided to change sides. We had the funny sunny boy Richy. The pretty cold acting Cleo. We had bitchy Lilly and of course we had the grumpy and unfriendly Dan. They all acted pretty strong from second one, in my eyes.

But I somehow absolutely don't think the Moonvale characters are like the Duskwood characters. Because well, I really think they need stronger personalities.

We have Eric who's a pretty normal guy and even though he tripped twice in one episode he's not at all like Thomas.

We have Ash who's like a very, veeery light version of Jessy and Lilly, in my eyes. Somehow kind but somehow absolutely not trustworthy.

We have Violet who's just.. there sometimes. Even the drunken police chief is more expressive.

Well and Charlie is.. Somehow like Richy and in my eyes has the strongest personality so far.

Oh and not to forget Brian who wasn't even there. Lol.

So yeah, I understand both points but I might see it a bit differently.

"Why's this game taking so much of my money" had me on my knees, laughing and crying at the same time because it's almost funny what Everbyte did and it's just as sad.

During my first playthrough I was also like: Someone give me a crucifix I need to get rid of Eric as soon as possible.

But while replaying I just had to see what happens if you decide to get closer with Eric and I swear it didn't disappoint me. It was hilarious and truly, I want this with Jake. I need such a chat with Jake! Everbyte, please!

I mean, I'm not flirting with Eric because I think he's hot or anything. Sadly, his character isn't interesting to me in this sense. (I need the mysterious guys xD) But I just had to try it and I mean, who knows if it will be important later. It's manipulative, I know, but don't judge me. And also, there's still this little hope for a jealous Jake. *ahem* Sorry, I promise I still feel bad for flirting with someone else. 😩

But gosh, the side story end. It was worth all the wait, really. I said before, I don’t forget about the negative things because of it but I'm just a silly, lonely, disappointed girl in love with a fictional hacker, let me have this adrenaline boost!

And yes, I was so happy when I saw Alan's body cam. I immediately knew what that means but at first I was just so happy to "see" Alan as well. I really like this guy, I can't stop myself.

About rant 1: I love the comparison with "So expensive is a picture" it is just as true and actually shows again how incredible it all is. I’ve said my opinion many times now, and I still want to protect Everbyte and give them a little empathy. But it's sadly just true.

I had a thought about that (what you said in rant 2) before and wanted to make a post about it later. So I hope it's okay if I get to it later.

Rant 3: This is actually one of the things that botherse the most. We can't rewatch calls, videos and pictures. The chats are disappearing and are gone forever. And they told us it will be different and that's so annoying. Not being able to see it in the app is just bothering for me. And yeah, that they broke the "promise" is as well. We all were so happy about the chat thing and now...

I actually like the look of Moonvale even if I would prefer something much darker. Especially with the mini games. The background is AI, of course, so. It would look much better with a real background.

And the damn mini games... I loved the ones in Duskwood so much. I really did. It was so much fun and I was one of the people who found them very easy.

But now the Moonvale mini games. By lord. Even though they're much easier for me in my replay, the first time I was actually this close to throwing my phone against the wall. I mean, I even went to sleep at some point and finished the game the next day! Everyone who follows me since duskwood knows I would rather shave my head than that. But they're just pain. And I seriously hope Everbyte will make them a bit easier or give us moves! Because this was often the biggest issue for me. Not enough moves. But they want you to buy gems so... 😒

Your conclusion sound good. I'm definitely planning to replay Duskwood as well. If I want or not. I have to. I need the comforting atmosphere and my emotional support hacker.

I hardly see jace show any remorse. he looks as if he feels bad when clary tries to touch him and has a second after Maia calls him out. and then when he’s fighting Alec, he basically says I’m not worried about that. YOU ARE LITERALLY RESPONSIBLE FOR HUNDREDS OF DEATHS. that’s when they should have started doing a 360 on jace and turning his shit around. like how can you not feel bad? it’s different if you truly didn’t know valentine had a plan but come on, you know him!!!!! if you really thought you had demon blood, you should still feel remorse and regret for hundreds of downworlders dying. he should’ve tried becoming better instead of putting all his shit on Alec

anyone can say “oh valentine made him do it” but I hardly saw jace go through a trial of feeling responsible. even Alec says “you couldn’t have known” but he is still responsible for those deaths. he walks around all untouchable and Maia mentions the damage he did. and then when kaelie retaliates, he looks at the downworlders as the problem and not what he did. he and the clave started this shit by lying about the sword. the clave constantly lies and expects downworlders to go with the flow. they have no rights, no freedom, no voice. shadowhunters can go out murder downworlders and it’s hardly a problem but don’t kill a shadowhunter or they’ll ignite a war

maybe I’m being extra dramatic about it but I seriously hate that jace pays zero consequences for anything and everyone coddles the hell out of him. it’s okay to have trauma and I can sympathize for the trauma but not when he doesn’t try to be better. he doesn’t put any effort in to actually treating those who care love support him with the respect they deserve. JACE WOULD BE DEAD WITHOUT ALEC IZZY AND MAGNUS. he would not exist. jace isn’t the best shadowhunter if he needs his worthless narcissistic ass saved constantly. he doesn’t ever try to grow but expects everyone to take him on as the terrible person he is

I’m sorry but it bothers me how he walks around as if he never caused any damage and as if everyone is needing him around.
