Let me tell you I was SHOOK when I saw this new version of Scara, but I couldn’t stop laughing at this scene

The way Lumi is just staring at him like “hun, you have no idea”, while Scara is doing the puppy eyes XD

Scara thinks he is only worthy as long as he is useful

I think Lumi can also relate to that, since she is always running around helping everyone else

I hope together they can learn they don’t have to be useful to be worth of love

#I really enjoyed this quest #I think often times we see scara being the angry little gremlin we love so much but here we got to see more of his /cold/ side #even when we were seeing the wanderer he still behaved almost emotionless #/inhumane/ in a way #a puppet with feelings basically #I think they also portrayed quite nicely Lumi’s conflict between hating Scara and her never ending kindness #being mad at him but still helping him out anyway #I was afraid they would just make her act as if nothing ever happened between them #but then the first thing she does is say ‘so they tossed you out like trash’ and I was like YESSSSSS #their banter overall was one of my favorite things abt this quest #also her saving him and him saving her by the end was AGAGAHZGS #scaralumi #wanderlumi #lumiscara #scaramouche #wanderer #lumine #genshin impact #mine

I was trying to only show each one once but then just gave up #deep dived research on the Todd Snyder site that's the kind of overanalyzing that happened #there is a lot of lighting messing with colors and for sure there are some repeats in this but whatever #I had this idea way back when we saw the variety of color sweaters/jumpers for S3 #but after the end of S3 I lost a lot of feelings for this show #my motivation for giffing this show is not so strong anymore but there is a part of me that still wants to maybe try a layout set #I'm thinking of doing all 3 seasons and just an overall sweater/jumper encompassing gifset. both the work and casual together #kind of meh on how some of these turned out ¯\_(ツ)_/¯#it might be the added switch to the new editor and that all of these have been turned into gifv nonsense #also couldn't get the caption font to do what I wanted in html or at least it looked alright in drafts but not in preview #PS: thank you talldecafcappuccino for reading/helping with my color debate/same vs not same sweater/jumper nonsense

i wonder if this scene has something to do with wille’s grief. wille appears to have all of his walls up and seems really angry or shut down in this scene. it could be directed at simon, but i think it’s likely and in character for him to be going through something deeper internally and unable to express that others yet. maybe it’s some kind of pressure building that he’s disappointing erik if he’s considering abdication? and maybe simon said something that hit a nerve and that’s why simon feels helpless - cause now wille’s shut him out. we’ve seen this behavior before in wille quite literally shutting his mom out of erik’s room to have a moment of missing his big brother, so it’s safe to say that’s a defense mechanism when he feels like someone doesn’t understand. and he seems to be having other moments in s3 where he’s also extremely frustrated and dysregulated, so could be a bunch of things boiling up at once.

Very recently too #I swear every time I draw in the Pizza Tower style I get a step closer to perfecting it #I'm really proud of this even if it started out as a simple joke sketch! 🍕✨#Another thing I'm proud of are the little pizza buttons I added to Pizzahead's overalls #Probably not the first person to do the such but I think it looks cute!
