My thoughts and guesses / theories about Zayne's upcoming main story branch.

Like I've said in previous posts, I've been hella busy with work and most of all, exhausted so I haven't been able to come here and scream about the game updates (let alone draw something) but I still want to summarize my reactions from the past few days.

About the main story update, I'm really excited to see what's going to happen! I love the Dawnbreaker references but I have to be honest, I don't really think this is Dawnbreaker, he's still Dr Zayne (they both are part of each other somehow, but you understand what I mean).

Here's why:

At first, I genuinely thought this time we really would get the chance to interact with Dawnbreaker since Zayne is wearing DB's outfit and not a jumpscare outfit like in Snowy Serenity but the more I watched the trailer, the more I realized that this is still Dr Zayne which both makes me feel alleviated (cause if it were to be Dawnbreaker, it would leave us wondering where Dr Zayne is) and scared cause if he gets to suffer/ sacrifice himself in this time line like he did as Foreseer and MoF, I don't know well how I'll handle it.

He's a male lead so I don't think they will kill him off (? but somehow with Zayne one never knows, he's honestly always surprising us. In any case, my wildest theory is that if something happens to Dr Zayne, then we'll continue his branch with Dawnbreaker... idk? Anyway, don't really pay too much attention to this since it's most unlikely that something like this happens.

The impression I got after watching the trailer so many times is that this is actually Dr Zayne in the process of becoming 'Dawnbreaker' (maybe not exactly his other self but the concept) which has been one of his biggest fears; the reason? Because the Xander Sciences experiments, the severe cases of Protocore Syndrome and Metaflux anomalies are probably speeding the process of humanity to get doomed since in Dawnbreaker's world, humans turning into wanderers is something pretty recurrent and the very reason Zayne is a killer and his world is apocalyptic. Dr Zayne knows of this, he knows using protocores in human hearts is dangerous (the very reason he gave up his research in university), he also knows that to be exposed to big quantities of metaflux is what turns humans into Wanderers, he knows it because when he and William fought side by side in Mt Eternal, it was in order to destroy a Protofield that got out of hand and the Metaflux anomalies there were bringing to land more Wanderers. It was until they destroyed the protofield when William started to turn into an Abomination and then, a Wanderer.

In the trailer, Dr Zayne says something like 'We have no choice but to destroy this place" so my guess is that there is another big Metaflux anomaly like in Mt Eternal but this time in a place where there is a lot of ppl and due to being exposed to it, they're turning into Wanderers, something that Zayne as a Doctor can't cure: "Aren't you a Doctor. You should've save me!"

In fact, this is something he can only cure as Dawnbreaker:

I'm really interested to know who was the guy who asked Zayne to kill him. My guesses are:

William (and this probably a flashback).

Carter

Greyson (most unlikely since the voice didn't mach but goshh could you imagine the angst if it was him??)

So if there is another Metaflux anomaly it means that there's a Protofield that got out of hand and it probably was in either Akso Hospital or Xander Sciences company cause they had a special patient that accoring to what they say in the trailer, had a fragil heart that would've stopped long ago.

If I'm not mistaken (and since I'm currently sleepy and feeling lazy) in the World Underneath anecdotes Carter and Xander Sciences tried to keep some patients alive or to revive them using protocores and keeping him in pods but it didn't work? However, long before these anecdotes were released, we knew that there were already organizations doing research about immortality:

It seems that 'A special energy field' is necesary in order to reach better conditions to regenerate the human heart. What if this 'special energy field' is something similar to a Protofield? If we remember correctly, in both Rafayel and Xavier's myths MC's heart was necessary for them to live immortal lifes? In Rafayel's case, she seemed to give ppl some kind of energy? But at the same time she couldn't leave their city neither. In Xavier's case, her heart was like an unending source of energy for Philos core and they wanted to feed Philos core with her so they would stop to sending humans and then Philos core would stop crearing wanderers.

In both cases, it seems that MC is the source of energy of a Protofield that both gives it enough quantities of energy to keep it balanced and making ppl within this field to be immortal (like her) without the risk of becoming wanderers. In Rafayel's myth, she was already the source of this field, so there are actually no wanderers in this myth. In Xavier's myth, she wasn't the source of it so they were creating wanderers bc of it.

What if in this case, Xander Sciences discovers that the key to reach immortality lies in creating a Protofield with enough energy to create the needed conditions to regenerate human hearts for indefinite amount of time and that the KEY to achieve this lies in MC's aether core??

What if what Zayne is trying to protect here is MC's heart so they won't use her to reach immortality, EVEN if he knows that this most likely will avoid tons of deaths and will stop the creation of wanderers and ALSO will avoid his future as Dawnbreaker but even so he chooses to save her, just like he did as Foreseer and Master of Fate.

And lastly, he mentions "When that day comes... When I can't wake up" my only guesses are:

His nightmare of becoming "The Grim Reaper" will become true.

By destroying the Protofield that is creating the anomaly, he also freezes himself?

Maybe he steals part of MC's power or even he takes the creatio protocore he gave to her as Foreseer and uses it on himself so instead of using her as the source of energy for this Protofield, he offers himself as this unending source of energy? (This one is quite wild and seems unlikely to happen but I still wanted to mention it ahaha).

Anyway these are all my thoughts for now. Please take this with a grain of salt, since these are only silly theories and nothing official. We'll have to wait some days more to discover the truth.

In the original draft of this chapter, Wolf stays a, uh, wolf until like the 4th update. Instead of actually managing to get his teeth on the master sword, Loft threw him off immediately. The Deku Tree still said the line about all three of them being heroes and Slate is like. “Including the fucking dog????!” I thought it was very funny but a) it made some scenes later down the line a huge pain and b) I was tired of drawing wolves ALDKDKD

You may have noticed Wolf’s scowling in the bg of almost every panel. That’s kind of just his face, but also right now my guy is nursing the world’s biggest migraine from popping the shadow crystal out of his skull. He can stay wolfmode for a while, but it’s still technically a curse. It’s not consequence free, and there’s an upper limit for how long he can spend in that form. Anyway, cut him some slack if he’s a little prickly for a bit.

There were a lot of comments about Loft being strong enough to toss a wolf over his head lol. My hc is that he’s one of, if not the strongest Link sans any magic items like power bracelets or gauntlets. He’s actually not even as strong now as he was during his quest. Wolf maybe has him beat now, but he can still get tossed lolol

It might seem like Slate’s really taken everything that happened at the end of ch1 in stride, but don’t worry. He’s simmering. Loft is grateful for the opportunity to get distracted by something else. Maybe that’s why he was so willing to approach the wild animal he’s never seen before lol

This maybe goes without saying based on the events of the last two updates, but Slate never had wolf link with him during the events of botw. He doesn’t recognize Wolf.

I’m really glad ppl seem to be liking the colors bc I struggled with them so hard on both updates 🫠literally days of me turning to my roommate and going “I think I’ve never made anything worse” and them going “it looks good stop being dramatic” WKDJDK I have this thing where if I had an idea in my head for what an update should look like, and what I produce doesn’t meet it somehow, I start seeing in fucking. shrimp colors. Posting always gives me a confidence boost back lol.

these pages were cursed in general bc like. this doesn’t usually happen but I think I redrew every panel in this update at least 5 times each. that’s part of why it ended up being late SKDJF

I REALLY like the idea of being in the presence of the Triforce and having access to its power being this eldritch, divinely horrifying experience. The sort of thing that is impossible to explain to anyone and also haunts you forever. Loft spends a lot of time actively trying not to think about the Triforce. Just, like, remember that about him.

Like how tears in reality are shown through holes in the literal comic panels, I tried to show the concept of reality bending in the form of a panel stretching and twisting like a ribbon ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ I hope that came across. Triforce lore varies a bit from game to game, but I’ve come up with my own internal logic for bonus links that combines all the ideas I like lolol. We’ll learn more about it in due time!

I also really like this parallel :D I intentionally set up the panels so past and present loft would line up like this. i love getting to draw flashback links it’s so fun to think of ways to convey what they used to be like, and how their quests might have gone for them. Past Loft’s not having a great time by the time he reaches this point lol

i had seen the first post before and i didn't really feel like making a post about it, but that addition in the reblog makes me want to.

i don't ship zutara but i can see why people like it. it did have a lot of potential and after zuko's redemption arc, i don't think a relationship with katara would be toxic or abusive in any way.

the main reason for this is because their conflict was never personal. zuko and katara were enemies but neither of them knew much about each other, so there were no personal attacks. there were no jabs at each other's insecurities and for most part, they were on par with each other when fighting. katara was slightly stronger than zuko but she never used her strength to endlessly torture zuko and revel in his pain. he never did that to her either.

so yeah, an enemies to lovers arc would have been possible with zuko and katara because their conflict revolved around the fact that zuko was trying to capture aang. and after his redemption arc, he was able to form a good friendship with katara, which could have then turned into a romantic relationship. (it didn't but i'm not in the mood for kataang vs zutara discourse rn i'm not a big fan of either ship)

it's not my cup of tea but it is a healthy relationship with mutual respect.

that's not the case with c//a. you cannot compare it to zutara because catra's and adora's relationship was toxic even before they became enemies. catra had started exhibiting abusive traits from when she was around 5 or 6. and she never stopped it.

and catra's “redemption arc” doesn't do shit to save their relationship because she remains self-centered and toxic till the end. she keeps victim blaming and manipulating adora and they still get together somehow.

this person really saw zuko's redemption arc that stretched out in three seasons where he slowly sees the damage the fire nation did to the entire world and starts taking accountability for his actions and making amends, then saw catra literally making a last-minute decision to save glimmer and doing absolutely nothing else to change herself or reflect on her actions, continuing to abuse her partner/sister; and they thought “yep. these are the same.”

How perfect a Maze Runner x Fallout crossover/au would be???

I think it’d be so perfect, like seriously. The plots are almost similar in a weird way. You’ve got people being trapped in large metal contraptions (mazes/vaults) and then unknowingly experimented on/tested. You’ve got sand filled wasteland with some epic looking post apocalyptic cities. You’ve got questionable organizations that like kidnapping people. And of course how great I think the main 3 dudes would fit certain character types.

Thomas would legit be the biggest stereotypical vault dweller. Like: asks a lot of (possibly dumb) questions, shows up and is kinda really clueless, somehow still has massive “I will save everyone!!” complex, and since he was once part of wicked too and only realized after leaving kinda how weird/bad it was.

I think we can probably agree that Newt would be a ghoul ;-; not just for the obvious crank reasons though but also because in the maze he was around a lot longer than Thomas, and as a ghoul that’d make him pretty old too. Not to mention he’d be considerably more experienced than Thomas at most things so would probably have to end up babysitting him a bit. Also like, broken leg in maze runner = he probably broke a leg and just got a new one from someone else lol

Minho gives serious brotherhood of steel deserter vibes. He’d probably have been rescued by them but then gotten too sick of their ways (bc he’s too sassy to live like that) so would totally steal one of their mech suits and just go rogue. Maybe become a mercenary or something. Him and Newt could definitely also be like wasteland acquaintances

Anyways that was the nonsense that’s been in my brain for a few weeks. Hope anyone who reads this enjoys

I am watching all the trolls movie in one sitting while taking a break between each one to really process the colorful trip I'm about to go on

so obviously the first question I'd ask myself would be was trolls (2016) good?? and the answer is yeah it's pretty fun but not that it's fantastic more like smth I'd put on if I got bored and wanted to watch a silly movie with songs and bright fucking characters

so I'd give it a 7/10 maybe

Hey there 🦋

I've finallyfinally finally reached the end of all the requests for July's game. I'm extremely thankful for your patience in waiting for my response. I had some fun in planning this game out and doing your readings. With that said, however, I just so happened to pick one of the most energetically crazy times to actually start the game, yikes.

The week of doing the game readings was… insane. Not just because of what's happening news-wise, but because too many close call disasters in a very short span of time in my personal sphere. The Mars-Uranus conjunction was no joke! It did a number on me and as a result I had to take some time off to just breathe. My original plan was to have everyone answered within the week, but the wheels on the momentum bus came screeching to a complete halt around the full moon, where I was forced to stop and spend time away from the computer to attend to external matters. From there, I was able to post just a few answers at a time until now. It took me longer than anticipated to finish everyone's readings and I sincerely apologize for all the hang ups.

My goal was to start paid reading immediately after; with Mercury Retrograde coming right up, and with needing to still recover from the past couple weeks, I've decided it may be a better idea to put it off for one more month. My reason for doing this, and why I didn't start earlier this year, is because when I do open up paid services, I want you to get your readings as soon as possible and not have to wait well over a week. Which means I have to be in the right mental health space and life set-up to meet that requirement.

(And as an extra note, I'm only on tumblr and not on other social media platforms, and this is my only account. Please don't get scammed by solicitors pretending to be me!)

I'll be posting a Mercury Rx themed PAC in August because the idea is still sitting fresh in my mind, but I will likely post my menu later after this period transits through. This Elements Game, as fun as it was, ended up exhausting my psychic reserves in a way that the March aura game somehow didn't, and I need to use up the rest of the summer sun to recuperate and regroup. I don't know if I will have another game planned for this year, but if I consider it, I'll keep you updated in advance.

This hasn't been the first time my blog has had to slow to a near halt. I made this account several months before anything could even get posted which was frustrating at first but eventually worked itself out. So far, I've had a great time making these PACs and Game readings for you, but I'm re-realizing that passion alone can't assuage one's health needs. It can't replace food, and sleep, and walks outside, and time for stillness and reflection. And pushing too hard to get everything done actually results in things slowing down too much.

I really hope y'all take care of yourselves this summer. Enjoy what downtime you can get on the weekends, and in your days before the next school semester starts. Don't let the panic of the news completely tune out all the good things this season can offer. Go out and get ice cream with friends. Spend time at the beach. Play a fun new game. And most importantly… Drink your water!! It's very cliche to say but it's literally the biggest message I have for everyone this season, above all. (Dehydration issues are not a joke, ppl, it's scary! 😭)

Hi3 - posts and reposts motivational quotes. Doesnt post much since retirement but does still put updates on her stories from time to time. I like to think that the 9th pic is when she announced her retirement. She posts all of the mech stuff she made to share how passionate she still is about it.

Genshin - very rare posts, somehow the most followed. Very formal even though it's his personal account. Doesn't take/know selfies. All the pics here are taken by the sibs. [i googled how many genshin players there are and I put it as the number of their followers but looking at this now I realized this is just too much.]

Tons of hate comments under his posts but also a lot of good comments. Likes to put pics from his travels if he ever takes good photos. [he uses a high quality camera for his nature pics] There's a lot more but he just doesn't feel like posting any. Known by a lot of ppl cuz of how often he's in the news...

Your last "meta" abt dabi and twice just made me feel worse abt twice's death lol. Like he really cared too much abt a group of very irresponsible ppl that kinda didnt really care abt the consequences of their actions. As for dabi i know hes not at fault here but his damn attitude with knowing things but refusing to communicate to others really didnt help the group or twice's situation :/ like i still wish someone from the group had like asked dabi what was his problem lmao

See, this kind of comment is exactly why I made the post though.

This is coming from a place of thinking where everybody in the League was on some sort of level of understanding with each other that Dabi just wasn't on board with, or refused to be a part of. A level of understanding with each other where someone would take enough notice of Dabi (for what reason I don't know) and bother to ask him why he acts the way he does. Do you see any of the League members bothering to do that? This is coming from a place of thinking that they had some established code of conduct that Dabi just didn't follow. And that is literally just not true.

There is a whole section in there about the League, and idk maybe that part just didn't stick with you when you read it.

But I must again ask why we are pinpointing Dabi? Yeah, he brought Hawks in. But be reminded that Hawks was ordered to become a double agent anyway. So if it wasn't Dabi, it was going to be somebody. And that's not even the point, honestly. Everybody let Hawks stick around. Not just Dabi! The PLF was a pretty damn big army, and not one person questioned it or thought "damn, maybe we shouldn't let the number 2 freaking hero spend so much time with our most vulnerable member who clings to people and cares about everybody to a fault". And the people who did question it (Skeptic) still didn't do much about the fact that Hawks was picking the most vulnerable member to latch onto.

The League is comprised of more than just Dabi. And this is once again isolating Dabi from the rest of them as if he can't be questioned by the members for whatever reason. He can be. And they didn't.

Shigaraki has always been a "do whatever you want" type of leader. So he left for four months and said "do whatever you want, just be ready when I wake up". And they all did. He didn't stick around to keep watch over the situation or anything.

I mean, at what point would it have made sense for someone in the League to confront Dabi and ask him "what his problem was"? Why would they? He fights with them when asked, remains a part of their group regardless (because he cares enough to), so beyond that there was never a reason for any of them to act like he was wronging them or misbehaving somehow. MVA should have showed you the bare minimum expected of them. He left to do whatever he wanted, he showed up to fight when asked. Then went back to doing whatever he wanted. And every single one of them had 0 issue with that.

Again--if they were going to be a group that had certain guidelines to follow for how they acted, that would have been a precedent set by Shigaraki from the get go. And it so very much was not. That wasn't how he operated and it wasn't how they all viewed their group.

I mean they could have at any point in time asked him if he truly trusted Hawks, and they didn't. It's the freaking number two hero. None of them did because none of them felt they had to, because that's not the type of relationship they all have with each other. My point is that the League have never operated under rules or expectations. That was kind of the point.

And this honestly could be a whole other meta in itself, but the current remaining members of the League are all plagued with individualized issues that have always, ALWAYS been the biggest underlying motivation for their actions. They are all in terrible situations because they are ALL haunted by their pasts in different ways. And everything about that for each of them was only a matter of time before it eventually exploded to the surface. As I pointed out in that post (Dabi was gonna reveal himself and try to die regardless, Shigaraki was going to be possessed regardless, Toga was not going to get what she wanted through mass destruction of everything,).

The only time it would have made sense pinpointing Dabi as responsible would have been if the League had clearly established some level of responsibility toward one another to keep a close eye on Twice, and on each other. Twice, the member who was openly vulnerable, sacrificial, who clung to people he cared about. If there had been some previously established expectation of them all keeping an eye on each other and Dabi deliberately defied that expectation, then that's fine--but that then falls on all of them, not just Dabi. But that expectation wasn't established, at any point in time.

The only member of the League who really stuck out in how they behaved WAS Twice. Shigaraki, Toga, Dabi, Spinner, and Compress even a little--all have individual reasons for lashing out and fighting. They all want things that are independent of what the League can give. They're reacting to their pain by causing others pain. Twice, on the other hand, reacted to his pain by prioritizing the League. He had what he wanted with the League, which is why he felt he had a happy life. As horribly sad as it is, he was the exception to the rule. Because nobody else in the League currently thinks they have a happy life. So it really is a head scratcher to me why everybody acts like Dabi is the exception to the rule.

I would understand this thinking better if they ALL started feeling regretful for not paying more attention or something. All feeling like they could have done more. But that is just not how they operate.

So idk, maybe there is a reason nobody in the League has asked him "what is your problem?", because he could turn around and ask them the same question for breaking previous characterization and asking him that.

There is a reason nobody in the League immediately started resenting or blaming Dabi after Twice died. Imo, what you're asking of them to have done would have been OOC for pretty much any of them.

If there is anything that should make you feel bad about Twice's death, it's that he was the most open about how he reacts to his trauma and how he reacts to people he is attached to, and Hawks openly took advantage of that.

This is all also exactly why people call it a "shoot the puppy moment" for Hawks. Which is negative development. That was the entire point.

It IS supposed to hurt, and make you feel bad and sad. Killing Twice was deliberately hurtful and painful--as beautifully executed as it was with all the meanings behind it (Hawks killing his humanity which is what Jin's name means, etc.; there are people who have expanded on this).

I am curious I was just having this argument with a bts fan and how she was crying because someone from bts got flirty with Olivia Rodrigo idk and she said She had a mental breakdown and this is the same psychotic shit that happens with Sebastian stan and Chris evans and any famous celebrity that’s hot, the “fans” somehow think that they have a chance with them or some delusion they have fed themselves, this is actually a mental illness it’s a way of coping with trauma by obsessively obsessing over a stranger that does not have any slightest clue that they exist and they likely will never even be in the same room as them, I think they need psychological help.

I thinking loving a celebrity platonically or sexually is okay and normal and fine but it’s also healthy to know that you are definitely only a fan and you should be happy with them getting a partner and being happy and you should also know that you are not “in love” with them because you cannot be in love with someone you haven’t met.

so i'm not the biggest fan of diagnosing ppl like this, especially on social media where exaggeration and being over the top is kind of the language of choice. i don't know if you knew this person prior and know that this isn't how they normally act, or if you stumbled upon their post because of this issue, but i'm guessing they meant for their audience to just be their self-imposed panopticon of mutuals that would so true bestie them until the cows came home, and it wasn't any deeper than that.

emotions aren't logical, and there's a difference between knowing it and actually feeling it. depending on where you live you probably have a higher chance of dating your fave than winning the powerball, but it's not at all weird to be disappointed that you didn't win, you know? it's fine to feel illogical feelings as long as you don't make it anyone else's problem.
