y'all ever think abt how it was julie having the affair and it is even said multiple times that she was the one who left him, yet wilson was still the one who left their home and moved in with house. like. he couldn't bear to stay in their home alone. he immediately ran to house and stayed on his couch for weeks. suffered through his pranks and his laziness and his manipulation. telling him he wants him gone while sabotaging his attempts to leave. and he only left once he got a girlfriend again.

#chyanne speaks #house md #hilson #hate crimes md #gregory house #james wilson #i think his inability to be alone is such an interesting quality of his that isnt touched on enough #like yes we all haha at his long string of unsuccessful relationships but we dont talk abt it all stemming from his inability to be alone #his first wife leaves him and then he remarried quickly #he cheats on the second wife and remarries quickly #the third wife cheats on him and leaves him and he immediately moves in with house #and then starts dating a patient and immediately moves in with her #but!!! then he moves into the hotel and is alone for like almost a year! and honestly he NEEDED IT #bc GROWTH happened in that year and he meets someone who doesn't fit his M.O. who breaks away from the mold #although he does immediately move in with her too but still. amber was different. she was the step in the right direction #and then she dies.#and then wilson throws himself into the left field. everything needs to change. he's spent so long fearing being alone.#so he tries to leave so he is completely and totally alone without house to fall back on #but house needs him. he needs him too much. they need each other too much.#and he falls back to house again. and he's content that way. he's always the most content when he's with house. always feels the least alone #and then sam comes back into his life and ruins e v e r y t h i n g #he falls right back onto those old patterns. kicks house out and moves her in. and then what happens??? of course??? she leaves him. again.#and then he's alone again and it hurts. he gets a cat that we only hear about twice and then never gets brought up again #but wilson has his kitty. he has house. he's not alone. he can be content.#and then house fucks everything up. he goes to prison. wilson is alone again.#im honestly SHOCKED that wilson didnt remarry in that year they were apart but he was rly trying to change!#he was working on himself and trying to make changed he thought would be good for him #and then house comes back. and house won't LET wilson be alone. he wont leave him alone.#and it's exactly what wilson has been yearning for since the day he drove that car into cuddys house #and in the end. as long as he had house that was all that mattered. as long as he had house he wasn't alone.

I don't have much of a say on Dusthides but I wish people would stop straight up lying about what the staff has said about ancients. They did not say the point of ancients is to break the mold, they said due to not having to fit apparel on them they can break the mold, not that they will every time.

"Our main goal with ancient breeds is to release them more regularly than we do modern breeds." This is the point of ancients

"Since they don’t need to wear apparel, ancient breeds also allow us to break the “One head, four legs, two wings, one tail” template. For example, dragons like wyverns, multiple-headed dragons, drakes, and more!"

'Allow us' gives them the opportunity to, not a promise to always do it. They also mention terts in a similar way and clearly don't always go wildly linebreaking with ancient terts

Do I think ancients SHOULD break the mold? Absolutely, I love funky dragons like Aberrations and Banescales, but don't make up something for them to have to always follow and then get mad when they don't, that's just bad for you

For something a little different than my usual virtual photography, here's my project for the Horizon Creation Celebration hosted by @horizon-events!

I'm really happy with how it turned out - and I'm excited to see everyone else's creations! More info below the cut ↓

I had this leather bag that I found at a thrift store, but it had somebody else's monogram on the front that I never liked. I always planned to do something about it - and I thought adding the medallion from Rost's armor would be the perfect project. The stitching of the medallion required the most work by far, but I also added a little Nora-inspired feather-and-bluegleam charm to the strap.

I didn't buy any supplies for this - everything was sourced from things I'd already collected (...hoarded?) in hopes of using them in a project someday.* The medallion uses reclaimed leather from an old purse, some blue cord I'd saved from... somewhere, and red cord of similar provenance. A stiff piece of plastic from packaging serves as interior support, and a strong magnet is currently holding it to the bag. I may attach it permanently, but I didn't want to yet in case I decided to use the medallion somewhere else!

All the feathers were found on the ground - there's an obvious jay feather (Steller's jay's in my neck of the woods), a white feather (most likely from a gull) that I colored with alcohol ink, and what I believe is a pelican feather - you can barely see it behind the purple one. The cords holding the feathers were all from my stash as well.

The "bluegleam" is a quartz point colored with glass paint. I'd had an idea for sculpting and casting the bluegleam cluster Aloy wears on her Frozen Wilds armors, but I wasn't able to get a finished product I was happy with. I'm not giving up on it, though - hopefully I can manage it someday!

*Which, honestly, is a miracle. I finally used stuff in a project! See, keeping interesting things is more than just adding to clutter!

About the Lights Out AU, wouldn't the building start crumbling due to weathering and stuff since there's no maintenance? Wouldn't the roof fall apart or like part of it at some point?

oh, yes. yes it would.

#since it's assumedly made of primarily concrete and metal #so it won't break down the way a house would #but that doesn't mean that areas aren't weakened or that there's parts of the building exposed to the elements #broken windows missing doors water damage animals/plants etc #in my mind the neighborhood set is on the ground floor and pretty deep in the building #very much sheltered from areas that would be affected the most by natural building decay / the elements #and wally never explores that far #whether bc he cant get certain doors open or it doesnt occur to him to try #rambles from the bog #wh lights out au #but the building is very much starting to rot around them #which doesn't start to come into play until the end of act one!!!#which! actually its funny that you mention the roof! the roof is important!#much emphasis on ceilings and roofs & how they come into play!#because they Do come into play.#but things even within the actual set do crumble a lil #wally has seen ceilings lights fall and smash things. false walls collapse due to water damage. small sinkholes open up sontworryaboutit-#things slooooooowly decay and wally watches it all happen #rust and chewed wires and mold and peeling wallpaper-#he watches the neighborhood rot & wastes away along with it

Any sort of bad relationship will have lasting effects on you but bad roommates arguably have the most specific lasting effects on you. I took my socks off because it's hot af in my old apartment building and before I went to bed I picked them up and put them in my laundry basket. And then proceeded to say, out loud to myself, "oh look at that. I brought my dirty socks to the laundry basket instead of leaving them on the floor in the middle of the living room. Was that really that hard, dickhead?"

#shri’iia going like you weren’t THAT good 🙄 as if she didn’t come multiple times bc he’s probably more attentive than her matriarch #like I imagine her matriarch being a very selfish lover and she always receives and never gives and shri’iia being so used to that #so when the act 1 forest sex scene comes and astarion performs as he does and he’s very giving and thorough and more focused on her own #pleasure than his shri’iia is like ?? brakes screeching noises in her brain she’s not used to this btw #not to mention she’s already drunk as fuck and trying so very hard to ignore the pain in her chest from oath breaking #so she gets even more confused and she just lets him do what he wants to do #cue the morning after .. ‘you weren’t THAT good’ whatever you’re just saving face 😭#anyway. so we back in the mines (mistralton cave)

#goldie plays pokémon black… 2!!!#finally found an axew with mold breaker #bc i was dumb the first time and left with the first one i saw #like ‘there’s no way to know what ability it’ll have until i check it at the pc but it’ll probably be good!’#i leave and check the pc and of course it’s rivalry instead #go all the way back through route 6 and get into the cave again #stumble around blindly in the dark bc i don’t have flash on any of my mons and i’m not wasting a move slot for it #didn’t bother getting an hm slave #also strength. i have only cleared half the boulders from the last time i was there #same deal i wasn’t gonna teach anyone that move #and then on top of that idk why the encounter rate in there has been so low today #i’m talking like having to walk for ten seconds before getting a single encounter on average #normally that would be a blessing but whew. when i WANT an encounter. smh #found another one and was like hm ok i learned my lesson i’m gonna get a few before i leave bc surely one of them will have mold breaker #right?#found a third one and then it happened. ‘the wild axew breaks the mold!’ on screen #and it occurred to me. ah yes. mold breaker is one of those abilities that is publicly announced whenever the pokémon enters battle #aka i should’ve Known the first two didn’t have it #dumb of me #ah well all’s well that ends well i found one plus she’s a girl so that’s epic and she’s slightly higher leveled than the others #her name is riju

my hope and dream for the realis season is that it makes me feel the way twilight mirage made me feel the first time i heard it
