Over the summer holidays lancer had a fling whist vacationing in gotham (they have a whole collection of banned books in their libraries he just had to read)
Whilst there he met a man and it was love at first argument he'd over heard lancer talking to himself about a book and apparently disagreed on the meaning of it
And well he was just so passionate about the books he couldn't resist and started a relationship it was meant to be a summer fling but it blossomed into a long distance relationship
He didn't expect to be calling him saying he'd have to break up because he was on the run because the government was trying to vivisect his students
Nor did he expect redhood to find them a month later promising sanctuary in crime ally and how he missed him reaveling himself as jason

Good morning! Sirius is not overdramatic and i don’t know where we got that from! (Is it perhaps from the movies which are not actually canon and are just a take on the books, as all movies are?) And if you consider him dramatic for his “fits of sullen” in Grimmauld Place, that’s actually because he was stuck in the house he ran away from at sixteen, a house he explicitly stated he did not like being in and a house of people who were completely against his views, after having lost his best friends, spending thirteen years in a secluded, high-security prison for a crime he did not commit, along with soul-sucking creatures, and after being a year on the run, which he spent in a cave, eating rats! Hope this helps!

Recognizing Early Signs of Mental Illness
#fe3h#dimitri alexandre blaiddyd#thats all it gets tagged as. if you see it then you were meant to see it.#txt post#side note while im in the tags no one looks at#im not too big a fan of the way people call his untreated psychosis as him being feral#its not a ground breaking take with the last 5 years of the game existing but ive only beem into fe3h for a year and its my blog#so I get to talk about it#like yes I understand its because he's likened to a Feral Boar charging ahead with destruction in its path and no brains etc etc#whatever felix said#but the way fans take that and really focus on calling an unhoused man with unresolved childhood ptsd haunting him for life feral?#the way fans take that and call a guy whos psychotic breakdown went untreated for 5 years feral?#REALLY doesnt sit well with me#idk im not the sort to be like “he didnt mean to murder this isnt him 🥺” because he did do that. a lot of that.#But people do things they dont want to do all the time when given the right mental state for it#Do you see people on the streets talking to themselves and shouting at the air and call them feral?#the ones you can smell from 6 feet away? the ones who have a crust on their hands and hair stiff from not having access to a proper shower?#the ones that havent had access to help or medication? Do you call them feral? Do you extend a hand or even look in their direction?#I'm rambling by this point. tldr mental health awareness and be kind to one another#and also to be careful and use your best judgement when helping because I stopped for an older woman asking for help#and she almost stabbed me in an empty parking lot#not my brightest moment

Yes It's true that the gods cause a lot of destruction during the calamity. Yes its true that them separating themselves from the material plane was good. Yes it makes sense for aeor to think world with no gods = no calamity. However, I think it's really unfair to act as if the primes were bad for fighting in the calamity. That was them defending exandria! The betrayer gods wanted to destroy the world how would anything be better if they didn't fight back??? Most of the world destroyed is a million times better than all of it.

Peter really put his entire Franzussy into his role as the Koskelas and Ilmari and so much of his content and lines can be skipped or missed or is inaudible/drowned by other elements (other NPCs, FX audio) 😔
Like
Ilmo and Steven's conversation after talking to them (if you do) and Ilmo offering Coffee World VIP tickets and Steven politely refusing 😂
The Huotari evil well laughter 😈 vs the Huotari well sobbing 😭
Missing all commercials
Missing out on Yötön Yö
Ilmo's realization of Jaakko being dead (overruled by the gameplay and Scratch's threats)
Missing the option to talk to Ilmo post-jail sequence and thus not finding out that the Cult = actually good and MISSING ILMO's DEVASTATINGLY HEARTBROKEN "my brother"
Not knowing during Deerfest u can hang around and hear Ilmo say some very questionable lines in a very strange voice (though this is easy to miss becos the level is designed for Alan to GTFO of there)

Girls and dames of tumblr I’m teaching a once a week art history class during their social emotional learning time about exploring the world around you through the art of different cultures… babes it’s so cute my PowerPoint slides are adorable and each week we are going to tackle a different social topic and try to answer the big question of “why do people make art?” Over the semester oh my god it’s so good for my soul… I’m even getting my babies their own mini sketchbooks where we can write down our vocab words of the week together and draw a piece of art from the lesson that resonated with them and I got little gold star stickers so they can be museum curators and rate each piece from 1-5 based on THEIR preferences and what THEY feel about it ngl between this and completely reconstructing their intervention block into a class wide fucked up short story read allowed and discussion I genuinely think my kids LOVE coming to class with me and feel excited to learn

two unrelated kids (problematic 6yo and 4yo) were carousing together at the library, and then the older one Made Up A Guy that was just too real and the younger kid was so upset by the Made Up Guy that he had a screaming fit about it
the older kid (already known to us that day as an asshole) reported that a man outside had been banging on the windows and told the kids he was calling the cops and the kids were going to jail (please understand: this window was 15 feet from where I was sitting. none of it happened.)
4yo’s mom went running out there, i went to the window, other coworker in the children’s room went to the window, 3 kids playing at the puppet theater (with a direct line of vision to the window) all looked... there was No Man. literally the only person out there was the mom who went to check. plus, NO ONE HEARD ANY POUNDING ON THE WINDOW OR ANYONE YELLING (cuz it didn’t happen).
but the 4yo was Super Duper Upset, like red-faced screaming crying snot-flying gasping-for-breath UPSET and terrified that he was going to jail. meanwhile, the adult with the 6yo turned out to ALSO be problematic, and was haranguing the 6yo into giving a description, telling us she was going to press charges against the (Made Up) Guy, telling everyone in earshot that she THOUGHT the library was a SAFE place to take kids, etc.
The 4yo’s mom wanted us to do something, but she didn’t know what she wanted us to do, we didn’t know what to do... she did agree that she had been the ONLY person in the ENTIRE parking lot, and she was out there within 1 minute of the report of Guy Telling These Kids They Were Going To Jail, and that it was unlikely that the kids would have been able to so clearly understand someone yelling through heavy duty public building glass... but she wouldn’t take it to the natural conclusion that “Maybe this didn’t actually happen and the 4yo is doing his best to relate the situation, but his best ain’t great”
just... how unnecessary. good lord. EVENTUALLY, literally an HOUR LATER, problematic mom and problematic 6yo came up to the desk with a description of the Guy: he had a black jacket and dark hair. (do you wanna guess what the problematic 6yo was wearing/his hair color? if you guessed... black jacket and dark hair, you’re smarter than that kid’s mom!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

imagine logan seeing you again
logan x reader
warning: some deadpool x wolverine spoilers. this takes place after the movie. under 1k words.
Part 1 Part 2 Part 3
Tumblr media
The apartment was packed jammed with friends and some foes of Wade Wilson. There might have been music playing in the background, but Logan couldn’t tell when his eyes locked with the figure walking through the front door. His heart dropped, he felt sick to his stomach as his eyes fluttered. It had to be a dream but then he quickly came to his senses.
This wasn’t his universe, his world. He was somewhere entirely new. He caught his breath as Wade shouted out an exclamation of joy. Logan watched as he drew up from his seat to greet you with an overzealous hug, pulling you toward the group at the table.  Wade held you rough by the shoulders and grinned. “Look who decided to come out of retirement, conveniently after we,” he pointed to Logan then himself. “Saved the fucking world. Avengers, who? Bunch of assholes, if you ask me.”
“You sound like a man scorn, Wade,” you teased, offering a wave of a hand to your friends. The idiot next to you was right, the whole superhero thing had been a thing of the past. You have been a regular civilian for a few years now and have been loving a more relaxed existence – not being threatened daily was like, nice. “Don’t worry, you’ll see all the details in the movie. Have you meant my little angry beaver, the Wolverine?”
Your head jerked to where the older gentlemen was sitting, and you grinned. “I haven’t had the pleasure. I never met this world’s Logan – we ran in different circles. It’s nice to meet you.”
His heart relaxed and he confidently held out a hand, ignoring the interested glance from Laura. “Nice to meet you.”
“Take a seat next to Logan,” Wade urged, winking over to his new hesitant partner. “I’m sure he can fill you in on all the fun we’ve had together. Tell her about the sex ramp we had in the car that one time.”
“Do you ever shut the fuck up?” Logan cursed, telling you to ignore him.
“I usually do,” you laughed, thanking Vanessa for the beer she slid over from her side of the table. Popping it open, you relaxed and asked Logan how this place was treating him. “Must be weird, coming here. It’s like your world, right? Just slightly different?”
“Something like that.”
“Did we know each other back there?”
Your question seemed so invasive and frank – it almost made Logan smile because some people never changed, no matter what universe. Back where he came from, you were such a firecracker little shit. He had his hands full dealing with your bullshit. You were always running towards danger with little regard for your own safety because you had him. He had always been at your side, or at least, trying to catch up but he had always been there for you.
Logan had loved you and you had loved him.
Two reckless mutants.
Then you died and that sent him straight down a barrel of alcohol and indifference, to everyone and everything in his world. Which led to his greatest shame of all, allowing his family to be murdered because he was too busy drinking his sorrows away. He had long forgotten what it felt like to see you smile or hear you laugh, to feel your fingertips on his skin. The weight of your head on his chest as you slept, he never could replicate that feeling and yet, here you were.
A different version of you but God, the same.
“We were friends, really good friends.”
The hint of sadness in his voice was enough for you to understand and maybe not truly, but something had happened. That much was evident and while it might have been silly, you wanted nothing more than to comfort this man next to you. The room seemed to fall quiet, but no one was paying attention, except the girl next to Logan. Your eyes met hers, but she just smiled and looked away. Logan’s eyes were focused on the beer in his hands, but his eyes jerked up when a gentle hand touched the top of his. Your skin ablaze his and it felt wrong to feel like he had once when he didn’t even know you. Not this version of you, a woman he knew nothing about. It didn’t feel right but he wanted nothing more to allow this to go on. To see who you were in this world.
Did he deserve that? After everything that happened.
“Were? I won’t pry but it seems like life has given you a second chance, Logan.” You smiled softly and removed your hand from his, lifting your beer can to him. “You guys saved this world; a second chance is the least the universe can give you. Why not take it?”
Logan chuckled lowly. “The version of you I knew also had a deficiency in reasoning.”
A hard smack landed on his chest, and he laughed, which made you laugh. “Yeah, well, at least I don’t look like that idiot.”
Looking over to where you pointed to Wade, who had decided to show off his hair piece, Logan smirked. “Yeah, that’s fucking terrible.”
The two of you smiled at each other and something clicked in that moment, leaving the both of you quiet until you broke the tension. “To not looking like Wade Wilson.”
Logan clicked his beer against yours and felt a settling in his heart. Maybe he did deserve a second chance, at least, he could start toward earning that second chance. “Amen to that.”
