It's very unusual for Jack to be home on Sunday, especially a Sunday morning. With usually having a game or morning skate. The feeling of his body beside mine, seeing his face glow with the light coming through the blinds was unusual. A site I could get used to, one that I'll never grow tired of seeing. 

I turn to my side to get a better look at him. Bringing my hand to trace the freckles and sun spots on his back, taking in every part of him. Bringing my fingers to his lower back and scratching back up. I do this, as I watch his chest slowly rise and fall. How is he so beautiful? I think to myself. 

Making my way from his back I slowly start to bring my hand to his hair, as I slowly start to run my fingers through his hair. Combing through his brown locks. I feel him stir below me, slowly turning to face me, still deep in sleep, his eyes are still closed. 

I take in the natural state of his face. At his clear and soft skin, cherry coloured lips, that I could kiss again and again. I take in every little piece of him. 

Bringing my hand from his hair, I slowly began to trace his face, jaw and slowly make my way to his neck. I love every part of him I say to myself. 

I began to trace his arm, stomach. My gaze is locked in that I don't even realize jack is looking at me until  my eyes make their way back up to his face. 

Our eyes catch each other, I can feel my cheeks slightly tingly and warm up like an embarrassed child that just got caught for doing something they shouldn't have done. 

“Why'd you stop, that feels good” he says, as he smiles down at me. 

He grabs my retracted hand that was once on his arm, and places it in his hair. “Please baby” he looks at me with those puppy-like eyes. I roll my eyes dramatically and begin to run my fingers through his hair again. 

Jack sighs in contempt and gently shoves his face into my chest, I can feel his smile on my collar bones like a little kid. 

“I missed this,” Jack says, face still pressed into my neck. I missed this too. I sigh back. Jack slowly lifts his face from my neck. His gaze is so strong in mine eyes full of love. “My pretty girl,” Jack whispers at me, as he slowly moves hair off of my face. His face slowly moved closer to mine. Teasing me with how close our lips can get to each other without completely touching. 

I start to grow impatient, I rise up just enough so our lips finally meet. His soft lips finally met mine. Jack sighs into my mouth as he grabs my face to pull me closer into him. The soft kiss starts to become more intense, as Jack moves so he's now on top of me. Our kiss becomes more urgent, as he pushes my thighs apart so he can rest in between them. 

The tension in the room grows by the second. Jack hands leave my face and travel their way down my body, as they try and pull away the sheet that covers it. Grabbing my hips to pull me more flush to his body. 

The sudden moves, causes my breath to hitch, giving Jack an opening to slide his tongue into my mouth. Fighting for dominance, our tongues battling back and forth. I can feel our breaths beginning to quicken. The room is becoming warmer.

  My grip on his hair starts to tighten as he starts to move his lips down my neck, hitting all of my sweet spots. “Jack” I sign out as I look down at him, kissing down my neck, and anywhere my shirt doesn't cover. I miss his lips on mine, grabbing his jaw and guiding him back to my lips. 

I can feel his smile on my lips as I go to kiss him. “Someones greedy this morning, I see” Jack mumbles against my lips. “I'll never get you like this,” I say before I connect our lips again. 

A few seconds later Jack pulls his lips from mine, with a smacking sound. Our chests both rise as we lock eyes. 

“I want more sundays like this” he says, “i agree, i want you all to myself in this bed every morning.” I utter back at him. A smile rips across jack's face, “your wish is my command baby” jack says as he moves his hands down my sides, sliding them under my shirt. Tracing my bare skin, his eyes still locked with mine. 

“How about we start now?” he says as he smirks down at me. Finally peeling my shirt off my body, bringing his face back to mine, our lips meeting again in a rush. my back meeting the soft sheets below me, in a soft sunday love.

Yuji can’t sleep, he keeps thinking about what they had said but.. there’s no way you’d would do such things. Sukuna hasn’t made any snarky remarks which made him overthink even more…

When he’s with you he doesn’t see a problem.. you don’t act different, you still treat him like royalty. So he’d say random things just to see how you react.

“Yn they said Sukuna would eventually leave me you know… wouldn’t that be great. Then we can be together without him bothering”

You look at him and glance to the side. “Mm yeah I suppose that’s right.. that’s great” you smile and give him a quick kiss, he smiled but it quickly dropped when you turned around.

• When he realized he had a crush he wanted to cry

• Like, he KNEW that you guys could never be together (in game) because he's the elf king and he declared war against the humans

• He lost elves for gods sake he was too far deep, he couldn't just call off war!

• One day some rumors had surfaced that the princess had a crush on him so Kyle sent one of his most trusted knights (Stan) with a letter of his to your balcony at night

• He actually had to bribe Stan with 10 dollars to do it, HE WANTED TO KIND OF BE ROMANTIC BUT HE ALSO NEEDED TO BE SECRETIVE

• Stan literally went to your window at midnight and started throwing rocks at it till you came out, then he threw another rock once you came out with the letter attached to it

• "Hey! Whore!! The Elf King writes this letter for you and sends you his regards" "Why couldn't he come himself? Or literally just tell me in person???" "His brother, the pirate, said that he snuck out again he would tell the royal family"

• Kyle tried making the letter as pretty and sophisticated as he could but most of the writing was hasty scribbles he had to write over and over again because he kept changing the wording

• The gist of it was that if the rumors he heard were true, to meet him alone at stark's pond in a couple days at the stroke of midnight (Kyle had to bribe Ike with candy or something so he could sneak out) and that he would only wait an hour

• Of course it was true but you couldn't meet him, you would never be able to sneak out without your parents knowing or Cartman catching you, so you never met him at stark's pond

• Elf King Kyle was heartbroken because he had fallen for you so hard, he even set up a picnic blanket and candles with chocolate and flowers so he could confess 😭

• But Kyle was determined, he will win you over and one day ask you out! Maybe this time without him having to send a letter through Stan

• It didn't take much to win you over considering he already had but within a couple of private meetings between the two of you (essentially dates) y'all had started dating in private

• It was pretty romantic tbh, a little annoying because you guys would always have to do something at night or at times there was absolutely no way that anyone on either side could catch you guys together

• But Kyle more than makes up for it when you guys go on dates, he always puts so much thought and effort into it. Like when he climbed your balcony to leave you a letter that said to meet him at the elf kingdom

• You know that huge tree house next to his throne? He set up fairy lights, blankets, and pillows up there for you guys. He was waiting up there and you guys had food Kyle had cooked earlier and watched the stars together, cuddling

• Your relationship was like that for a while, kept a secret while you guys exchanged lovestruck glances from your respective sides on the battlefield

• Many on both sides had suspected and feared something was going on between y'all, so the elves had taken it upon themselves to kidnap you (without Elf King Kyle's orders) on multiple separate occasions

• One time they brought you in front of him to see his reaction, ofc he got mad and demanded that they untie you because not only did he not order them to do that, he was not a barbarian god damn it! Another time they kidnapped you and interrogated you, it was somewhat lighthearted tho because they were asking how you felt about the elf king and nature of the relationship

• Princess Kenny definitely questioned you a lot about Kyle too, she was so desperate to know and you know what? She supported you guys, she thought it was adorable!

• Maybe one day, whenever the war is over between Kupa Keep and the Elf Kingdom you guys could tell everyone of your secret relationship and you guys could unite the kingdoms

• He definitely wouldn't mind you being his elf queen, it's not like he hasn't referred to you as that in his head/when he's alone and talking to himself

• But alas, that will be far in the future so your meetings will stay during moonlight nights and on opposites of the battlefield

You’ve only met the guy once, and yet, you’re standing over him while he lays shirtless on your couch.

Nonetheless, each group gathered in the conference room to debrief. This was your first time meeting the aforementioned 141 squad. They weren’t as intimidating as you thought, although maybe it was because you were also a skilled marksman. Nevertheless, you introduced yourselves and got the formalities out of the way before you got into the nitty gritty of today’s mission.

However, one of the 141 members caught your eye. Goes by the name Ghost. He was one of the taller ones, and you could only see his eyes. Everything else was left to the imagination.  

You quickly rid your thoughts of the man, needing to focus on what you were assigned to do. You drew your attention back to Price and Diablo, who was your supervisor for Cobra.

“Cobra’s task is to run recon. We’ll go in first unsuspected and gather as much intel as needed. Then, 141 will come in.”

You mentally groan. You personally didn’t like recon because it usually didn’t result in a lot of action, and action is what you were trained for. You had a black belt in martial arts after all, and you were pretty adept with a knife.

Though, you kept your dissatisfaction to yourself and listened to the rest of the briefing.

Nothing exciting happened during recon. In order to gather intel, Cobra tried to look like normal civilians in the market area; all your weapons were concealed. You spotted a few of the hitmen you were after, and radioed 141. The hitmen you were after are part of a drug trafficking group called the Ludin cartel. You really were after the king pins, but you had to start somewhere.

Once you sent the signal, 141 started infiltrating the area and the civilians quickly scattered when they saw men with heavy weaponry storming through the market.

By now, you were in the outskirts of the market, but you could still see the commotion happening within. You may have just seen Ghost get shot. Wait what?

You did a double take and sure enough, Ghost has a red stain on his pant leg. Fuck.

You know you need to get to him as soon as he can so he won’t bleed out, but there’s still Ludin men surrounding him.

Well, fuck me.

You took a breath then started to make your way over to Ghost. Your movements were swift and sharp as you cut through Ludin’s men, every once in awhile your knife made contact with someone’s skin, leaving a big gash wherever the blade reached.  

Once the hitmen were taken care of, you were left with the sight of Ghost passed out on the ground. You radioed Cobra and 141, “Ghost’s down. I repeat, Ghost’s down.”

You heard a chopper in the distance.

The last thing Ghost remembers is faintly seeing someone take down nearly every Ludin man that was surrounding him; he doesn’t remember much after that. Now, he’s awake but his surrounding is unfamiliar to him.

He also feels a chill, and that’s when he looks down and notices his shirt is off, but there’s also a thick white bandage covering the loser half of his torso.

What the fuck happened?

“Oh good, you’re awake.” A sweet voice cuts through the air, and he looks up to find a woman standing over him. Your face is soft, your features show compassion, tenderness, and he doesn’t feel on guard like he usually does when he wakes up in an unfamiliar place.

Maybe it’s the daze of waking up with two bullet holes in your body, maybe it’s because of you. Whichever, he can’t find himself to tear his eyes away from your sweet face. It’s been so long that you even say, “Are you alright? Can you hear me okay?”

He mentally shakes his head. “Yeah, sorry. Just wasn’t sure where I was for a moment. You’re y/n right, from Cobra?”

You give him a slight nod with a smile that tugs at the corner of your lips. He finds himself looking there, at the plush color that coats them, but quickly averts his gaze so he doesn’t seem like a creep.

“Yeah, you got banged up pretty bad. Two bullets. One in your thigh, the other grazed your abdomen.”

Jesus.

“Why am I here in this house?” His tone is only curious, wondering why he isn’t in the med house back at base.

“This is one of my safe houses, and it just so happened to be the closest to the raid. Both teams agreed for me to take you back here. Along with being a skilled martial artist, I also happen to be a medic.”

Your sweet smile turns into a smirk while confidence coats your face, and Ghost finds this extremely attractive.

He once again can’t tear his eyes from you.

“Are you sure you’re alright? You keep staring.”

Fuck me.

He stutters out the first bit of his response, “I’m fine, sorry. Just have a headache, but also it doesn’t help that I’m laying here shirtless with a beautiful, yet terrifying martial artist turned medic.”

You let out a laugh that makes his heart glow. What the fuck is wrong with me?

I’ve literally only met this woman once.

“No worries, Lieutenant. Patients are usually a little discombobulated after being injured.”

You smile at him again, “This is a judgment free zone.”

Ghost nods, feeling a little bit better. A hint of smirk forms on his lips, “If this is a ‘judgement free zone’, would you mind if I ask you a question?”

You nod, willing him to proceed.

He’s taking a risk, he knows. But he has to ask. He’s already so enamored by you.

“Well, since you’ve been so kind as to take me to your home, and tend to my wounds, what do you say about me taking you out for a drink? As a thank you, of course.”

He watches as your face shifts from intrigue to understanding. Your sweet laughs permeates the air once again.

“I usually don’t accept offers like this, but for you I will.”

Ghost lets out a breathy laugh.

“Great, it’s a date then.”

i suspect it's aizawa who started it all and one piece just doubled down my slightly piqued interest (everyone was just so smooth in naruto and when they did have facial hair it was full beards and no inbetween, that's potentially what turned me off it initially lmao)

wrt law's pronouns i feel unhinged every time i have to talk about it but like skhdskgb i almost exclusively refer to them with they/them pronouns verbally (this counts maybe?? whenever i'm not writing anyway) but sometimes in headcanons or fics the "he" and "him"s just sort of slip out and they feel natural but not when i'm talking about them casually

by and large i'd much rather people use they/them for law when interacting with me but idk i feel compelled to "pick one" and it's one of those silly things that really shouldn't bother me but does sdkhfskgh

i doodled the old oc i used to have paired with kakashi (they still do live together somewhere in the back of my mind!) alongside law's little kirin chibi but they technically do have an OP version and that's vastly different from who they used to be in the narutoverse nobody's particularly interested in that but me but i still think it's a neat little tidbit :3

i could've easily done this interaction with iruka or shisui - since they were very much comfort characters too, hell, shisui even ended up as an OC (reiji!) cause i loved him that much - but ultimately i ended up picking my og naruto king 💕
