We celebrate the craziest plans of the Clown Prince of Crime in honor of his first solo movie.

He is the greatest villain of them all. He is the evil that tests Batman and makes the hero better. He is an uncontrollable force of chaos, more akin to a hurricane than a criminal, who strikes without warning. He believes that life is a chaotic farce and everything exists as part of a twisted game between him and Batman. He is the star of comics, television, cartoons, and film. He is the Joker, one of the most enduring symbols of evil in the last century.

The Joker is no match for Batman physically, so when he puts one over on the Dark Knight, when he “gets” him, it has to be a masterpiece of chaos and violence. These are just some of the greatest moments when the Joker put one over on his eternal adversary.

10. Death of the Family: The Dinner Scene

Almost Got Him moment: Made Batman believe he skinned his children. And he coulda done it too…

Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo gave us a Joker for a modern age. He embraced what went on before but really upped the ante in terms of intensity. Snyder’s Joker wore his own severed face as a mask and threatened the sanctity of such long standing but icons like Alfred and James Gordon. It all culminated in a dinner scene at the Batcave as a brainwashed Alfred seemingly serves each member of the Bat family, Batgirl, Nightwing, Red Robin, Red Hood, and Damian Wayne their own severed faces.

The Joker did not appear in any part of the epic, but is revealed by the prime reality’s Lex Luthor at the story’s climax. Joker sprays Alex with his signature acid flower and shoots him in the head, with a smirking Lex, who did not wish to share the villainous spotlight with the younger Luthor, declaring that Alex’s one mistake was he “didn’t let the Joker play.” This moment reveals that it could be a god, monster, or cosmic manipulator, whatever the case; the Joker is still more dangerous with a gag flower and a bullet. Sometimes the universe needs a master of chaos to do the things heroes can’t.

Almost Got Him Moment: Every death trap, every gag, every cliffhanger. Shoulda taken those utility belts, Cesar.

Sure, the camp vibe from the 1960s Batman TV series set comics back a few decades. Even when Watchmen was being published, the public perception of super-heroes was still “BIFF POW WHAM!” Yet, for many young children of the '70s and '80s, the series was a gateway drug into the world of comics. While Romero camped up some truly ridiculous plots, there was something about his demeanor as the Joker that still strikes a chilling chord. That special way he had of frowning while wearing a painted on smirk, and the white face caked on over Romero’s signature ‘stache gave his Joker a sinister heir that transcended the shows limitations.

For many generations Romero’s performance defined the Clown Prince of Crime. Every time Romero appeared, he and his ‘stache would come within inches of taking out Batman and Robin turning his every appearance into an “almost got him.”

6. Batman #1: The First Appearance

Almost Got Him Moment: It all began here. Joker committed murder right under Batman’s nose until Batman figured out the eternal game.

Many times, especially in the Golden Age, a character’s first appearance only gives a readers a fraction of an indication of what the character would become. The Joker, being the Joker, defies expectations, and everything a fan needs to know about the character can be found in that first appearance in Batman #1. His use of poison gas, his terrifying penchant for popping up out of nowhere, his need to intellectually challenge Batman, all add up to relatively the same character that exists today.

Based on actor Conrad Veidt in the silent film The Man Who Laughs, the Joker was a rarity for his day, as most villains were used to challenge the hero for one story and then fade away. Not the Joker, who endured, and despite some shifts away from the characters vile roots, he still exists almost identical to his 1940 appearance. This first story is so enduring that Chris Nolan adopted many elements for his first act in The Dark Knight including the unforgettable poison booze glass murder of Commissioner Loeb.

Even in his first appearance, committing crimes right under the Dark Knight’s nose, was a great moment of mastery over Batman.

5. Batman: No Man’s Land: The Murder of Sarah Essen Gordon

Almost Got Him Moment: In Gotham’s darkest hour, Joker managed to destroy the life of Batman’s best friend.

While Gotham was crippled and cut off from the rest of America’s infrastructure by a massive earthquake, the Joker strikes, kidnapping all the babies of Gotham. The Joker is confronted by James Gordon’s wife, Sarah Essen, and tosses her a helpless infant. When she catches the child, the Joker shoots her between the eyes.

Many people treat the Joker as sort of an anti-hero, the freedom his manic behavior allows him is attractive to many fans, but this moment shows that the Joker is a brutal thug looking to take advantage of a tragedy to suit his own twisted machinations. The Joker took a delight in Gordon’s torment, promising even more pain in the future. The shooting of Sarah Essen, an honest cop and loving wife, stands as a constant reminder of the Joker’s cruelty. Batman’s inability to save his friend’s wife stands as one of Joker’s greatest victories.

4. Batman (1989) “Bob…Gun.”

Almost Got Him Moment: Batman robbed the Joker of his fun, but despite Batman’s careful planning, someone still died.

There are many fantastic moments created by Jack Nicholson in Tim Burton’s 1989 Batman movie. From his fantastic origin sequence in Axis Chemicals, to the murder of his boss, Carl Grissom (played by the great Jack Palance), to his climactic church battle with Batman, but his greatest moment, like all great Joker moments, was random and chaotic.

At the beginning of the film’s third act, the Joker tries to poison Gotham with gas filled balloons, when Batman swoops down in the Batwing and drags the balloons away, the Joker is incredulous. Like a kid who had his favorite toy snatched by a playground bully, the Joker pouts and asks his most loyal henchmen Bob the Goon, for a gun. Bob, ever loyal to his boss, complies and the Joker, without changing expression, shoots Bob in the gut. Batman ruined the Joker’s fun, and someone had to die, even if it was someone loyal and useful to the Joker. Even though Batman seemingly saved Gotham, people still died, making Batman’s victory incomplete.

3. A Death in the Family “The Crowbar”

Almost Got Him Moment: He killed Robin. Duh.

Yes, it was gimmicky to have fans call a 900 number and decide whether Jason Todd’s version of Robin would live or die. Yes, it robbed the story of any organic creatively, but even the most jaded reader has to admit the death itself remains shocking to this day.

Over the years, the Joker has used many gimmicked gags and traps to take down Batman and his family, but when it came to the moment where the Joker finally was able to kill a Bat Hero, he was just a thug wielding a blunt instrument. It was another reminder of just how dangerous and brutal the sometimes likable clown can be.

Out of Todd’s death, DC was able to ignite literally hundreds of story ideas from the arrival of Tim Drake, to Todd’s resurrection as the Red Hood. From one violent act with a crowbar, the Joker created a legend.

2. The Dark Knight “The Interrogation Scene”

Almost Got Him Moment: He did what no else could do, made Batman powerless.

One can fill a list of great Joker moments on Heath Ledger’s performance in The Dark Knight alone, but one stands out above the others. Yes, even above the pencil trick. After the Joker is captured, Batman and Gotham’s Finest believe that the ordeal is finally over, until the Joker turns his trump card, revealing that he kidnapped, not only Gotham’s beloved D.A. Harvey Dent, but Batman’s true love, Rachael Dawes, as well. There is one thing all the crooks and villains had in common in the Nolan Universe; they feared Batman.

Not the Joker.

At this moment in the interrogation room, fans and Batman realized that Batman had no power over the Joker. That the Joker did not care about pain, he couldn’t be intimidated, bribed, or threatened. The more violent Batman became, the funnier the Joker found the situation. This was a new type of villain, one who could not be controlled, a swarm of hungry locusts in a man’s form gleefully destroying everything in his path.

As Batman races to save Rachel and Harvey, with just a few words (and a very well hidden cell phone bomb) the Joker is able to escape police custody. As Batman pounds on the Joker, it becomes clear just what an uncontrollable force the Joker is.

1. Dark Knight Returns ”The End”

Almost Got Him Moment: In his final moment, the Joker made Batman��s beloved Gotham see their hero as a murderer.

Nothing defines the relationship between Batman and the Joker, like the proposed final conflict. In Frank Miller, Klaus Janson, and Lynn Varley's The Dark Knight Returns, when Batman returns to Gotham after years of retirement, the Joker awakens from a coma to challenge the Dark Knight. Miller postulates, that without Batman, the Joker would cease to be, only returning when his other half was active. It was their final battle, and a battle in which Joker won. For decades, Batman refused to kill the Joker, but as the Joker snaps his own neck while laughing hysterically, it makes the world believe that one of Earth’s greatest heroes has finally turned murderer.

By destroying Batman as a symbol for justice and turning him into a symbol for selfish vengeance, the Joker turns the public, the government, and even Superman against Batman in the process. The Joker had won his greatest victory.

Okay here's my Batgirl movie pitch

So, I'm sure we're all wondering, "hey, where the fuck is Babs in the Birds of Prey trailer". The obvious answer for this was that DC is saving Babs for the fun and quirky Burnside bullshit Whedon movie so there was a kibosh on Oracle so that Joss could lovingly film her feet while Joker shoots her or whatever. Now that Joss's self-hating man geek persona seems to have eaten him completely and he's gone full meta, we're thankfully free of that travesty.

So here's my completely unfounded no evidence whatsoever theory about what's going on in whatever secret room they cook up the DCEU in, or more accurately, should be.

So Cass's inclusion on the team is already kind of weird, since her only real tie to the Birds is through Babs. If they wanted the "silent mysterious fighter with unresolved trauma", the logical choice for the team would have been Katana, since she a) has been on the team and b) has a built-in fanbase from Suicide Squad and c) the audience already knows her backstory, which YOU THINK DC WOULD HAVE LEARNED THEIR LESSON FROM SUICIDE SQUAD ABOUT JUGGLING FIVE THOUSAND BACKSTORIES IN A TEAM MOVIE BUT WHATEVER.

Not to be super cynical, but I think the Birds of Prey movie is going to be a travesty in regards to Cass's character, because there just isn't going to be the time to give her the necessary respect she deserves in the context of a big team movie like this, especially since it's basically a Harley redemption movie apparently. Cass is one of the most nuanced characters in the DC universe, and the movie is going to *have* to use narrative shorthand to get her character across, which is going to reduce her to either a) a stoic badass martial artist with no outward emotions or b) a tragic traumatized waif who punches things, neither of which are greeeeeat.

So she's there to token Batgirl niche because Babs was off limits for the solo flick. Now the solo flick is in limbo, and I think DC realized they fucked up by trying to do a fun and quirky Babs solo Batgirl flick and is scrambling to fix it, and they have the opportunity to give Cass the characterization she deserves at the same time.

The solution is to just... not touch Cass's backstory in BoP. At all. Keep her mysterious. Instead of reducing her backstory, just put it on the back burner and tease enough to make the general audience who's not familiar with who she is interested. Have the other characters be vaguely confused about who she is and why she's there, but hey, she's a good fighter so what are they going to do, tell her no? Give her one or two good gags where the Birds are bickering over how to solve a problem and Cass just silently does it.

And then, boom, aftercredits. Bruce has intervened. He's drawn a line in the sand. The Birds are suspect, but he's willing to let them operate mostly without interference, but no kids. Not after what happened to whatever Robin died in this universe. (Also there's potential interesting character conflict for Harley but I digress). So she's there in the cave, and Bruce is maybe talking to Alfred about what to do about her. Maybe we just hear the conversation in the background while we see things from Cass's perpective for the first time in the movie. It's framed from a perspective of curiosity as she explores the Batcave, and she's visibly delighted. And then, as Alfred and Bruce's debate reaches its zenith, the light from the computer's screens goes green, and onto each one pops a familiar icon. And then, because DC needs to explain things for the layperson, maybe a line along the lines of "Hello, Bruce. It's been a long time. I think I have a solution to your problem."

And then we end on a shot of the Oracle mask on the screen.

Which then gives the perfect springboard for a *good* Batgirl movie, where Cass is the main character and we have Barbara as the mentor figure. DC might have no idea how to craft a cinematic universe, but they're not completely inept, and mentor movies are big right now. Spider-Man has pulled it off *twice* in live action and animation now. DC can even retroactively introduce Babs into the rest of the DCEU so they can have the plausible deniability of pretending they *always* meant to have Oracle there the whole time. Maybe they'll tie her into the plot of Suicide Squad somehow, I don't know or care.

But DC seems to have been slowly realizing they fucked up by re-Batgirling Babs, and is slowly reintroducing her as Oracle through stuff like Young Justice, which is. Great. They have the perfect opportunity to do the same thing in the films while simultaneously giving Cass the respect her character deserves. We can have some fun flashbacks to a fun and flippant Babs when she was in the cowl. We get the conflict of whether she's just trying to relive those days vicariously through Cass, which organically makes her backstory as part of the narrative instead of the exposition dump. Ditto for Cass. We get to actually explore Cass's backstory. Maybe Cain is the villain, or maybe he's just a secondary threat. Either way, he wants his daughter back and there's definitely a climactic fight at the end where she beats him and it's super dramatic because she chooses to spare his life or whatever. This brings both hers and Babs's arcs to a satisfying close as Cass is given the validation of knowing she's more than a weapon, and Babs sees that her mentorship of Cass is a positive thing.

Then we get a stinger where we see a drunken Cain whose worldview has been shaken, and he's paid a visit by Lady Shiva, setting her up as the villain for the Birds of Prey sequel.

Tl;dr DC can still fix this if they're not complete wieners.

This is Barbara’s profile page from Batman Annual 13, published in 1989, illustrated by Fred Butler.

The history primarily draws from two stories. Secret Origins 20 established Barbara’s history after Crisis on Infinite Earths, fitting her origin into the new timeline and reinterpreting and updating her classic adventures. The Batgirl Special modifies the plot of Detective Comics 491-492, reusing that villain to give Barbara closure and hang up her costume.

Then it goes into The Killing Joke, and her first appearances in Suicide Squad and Manhunter.

History:

Following a dream to someday be Batman’s partner in crime-fighting, Barbara began to train herself at an early age, determined to master any skill that would lead her to her goal. She kept her body in shape with a regimen developed from her studies, and trained her unusual memory to be of greatest use by the constant study of maps and facts. She later took up martial arts training with a sensei.

Barbara’s mother died in a car accident when Barbara was four years old, which ultimately led to her father’s death from alcoholism. At thirteen she moved to Gotham City to live with her aunt and uncle, who later adopted her. This led to her meeting the Batman, which channelled her fascination with super heroes into a specific interest in Batman.

Years later, Barbara created the Batgirl persona for a policeman’s masquerade ball, but never got to show it off there because she stopped on her way to save Bruce Wayne from an ambush by Killer Moth. Deciding she could be valuable acting as Batgirl, she kept the incident and the costume a secret. James Gordon later learned of her other identity.

After earning her Master’s degree in Library and Information Systems from Gotham State University, Barbara began a series of jobs that always took second place to her role as Batgirl. She was a librarian at Gotham Public Librarian, had a disastrous two-year term as a Congresswoman, and served at Humanities Research and Development.

With the proliferation of superheroes, Barbara began to reconsider her role as a costumed crime-fighter. But first she had to wrestle with a contract killer named Cormorant, the one person who managed to seriously injure her. Their final confrontation led her to banish the demons from her mind and hang up the Batgirl costume - for good.

Some months later, the Joker broke into the apartment she and Commissioner Gordon shared. Gordon was kidnapped while she was shot. Now paralysed from the waist down, Barbara is not expected to walk again.

During her convalescence, Barbara has increasingly turned towards computers, using a modem and her amazing skill to create the computer persona known as Oracle. She has aided both the Suicide Squad and Manhunter to date, without revealing her identity or exacting a price. Her reasons are as yet unknown.

Powers & Weapons Barbara’s photographic memory served her well as Batgirl and now equally well as Oracle. Her command of facts and information is rivalled by few in the DC universe.

Her formerly Olympic-level prowess has allowed her to stay in good condition despite her injury. She continues to work out with a physical therapist to maintain muscle tone and otherwise excellent health.

As Batgirl, she was an excellent hand to hand combatant and has been retraining herself to defend herself while confined to a wheelchair.

Harley Quinn and the gang deliver a romp through the seedy underbelly of the DCEU in Birds of Prey!

Birds of Prey is the latest entry in Warner Bros.' sprawling DCEU shared universe of superhero movies. It's not just any superhero movie though. Birds of Prey offers up a female-led, female directed R-rated action romp through the grimy streets of North Gotham. Like any good comic book movie, the Cathy Yan helmed flick includes a whole bunch of impressive Easter eggs from deep cut DC Comics references to ridiculous Batman '66 nods all the way through some awesome homages to Harley's origin.

As always we're trying to catch all of the Easter eggs and secrets that Birds of Prey and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn has to offer but despite our hard work there's no way that we've spotted them all! That's where you come in, if you caught something that we didn't then jump into our comments or hit us up on Twitter and if we update the piece with your spot then we'll give you a shout out!

Harley Quinn

- Easily the most deep cut reference in the entire movie, Birds of Prey features the first appearance of Harley Quinn. But we're not talking about Batman: The Animated Series. During Harley's prep for the final battle, a clip from Days of our Lives can be seen on the screen of Renee Montoya's TV which shows Arleen Sorkin as a Harlequin on the popular soap opera. It was this sequence that inspired the character and that led to Sorkin becoming the first person to voice Harley Quinn on Batman: The Animated Series!

- Harley's necklace says Bruce, the name of her Hyena who in turn is named after Bruce Wayne (in the film she apparently doesn't know that he's also Batman). Harley keeping a pet hyena is also a nice riff on her pet hyenas from Batman: The Animated Series. Only those two were named Bud and Lou, after famed comedy duo Bud Abbott and Lou Costello.

- We get to see Harley chopping it up on a Roller Derby rink which comes from Amanda Palmer, Jimmy Palmiotti, and Chad Hardin's popular New 52 Harley Quinn run.

Black Canary

- At the Black Mask club, a drunk Harley accidentally calls Dinah "Bianca" in the club... now we're probably reaching with this one, but in the comics Helena Bertinelli has a daughter called Bianca Bertinelli...Could this be another deep cut reference to the classic comics?

- When Renee Montoya and Dinah first meet, the cop references Dinah's mother who was apparently the first Black Canary. This is a really interesting note as in the comics Dinah was the first Black Canary and her daughter Laurel later took on the mantle, so who was Dinah's mom? We'd love to know more, especially as the pre-Man of Steel history of the DCEU has only been explored in brief teases so far.

- Black Canary’s costume at the very end incorporates her traditional fishnets, but as part of her sleeves in a smart reinvention of her iconic look.

Huntress

- The Helena Bertinelli version of the Huntress has been kicking around DC Comics since 1989. But there was an earlier version of the character, Helena Wayne, who was the daughter of Batman and Catwoman! The Helena Bertinelli Huntress was created by Joey Cavalieri and Joe Staton.

- The rival mafia don who kills the Bertinellis is Don Galante. In the comics the Galante family are one of Gotham's five mob families that make up the city's La Cosa Nostra.

- That Huntress costume at the end looks pretty cool, we even get a classic domino mask. We're excited to see where the Birds of Prey go next... now they're a real team could we possibly see the appearance of one Barbara Gordon?

Renee Montoya

- Renee is the first canonically gay character in either a Marvel or DC movie and when we're introduced to her ex-girlfriend (played by Ali Wong) it's a nice nod to the queer history of the character who once dated Kate Kane's Batwoman.

- In the comics Renee Montoya quits the police and becomes the Question. Considering that the film ends with Renee retiring to become a full time crime fighter, with the Birds, maybe there's a chance we could see something like this happen on screen. We'd love to see her put on the iconic mask if Birds of Prey gets a sequel.

Cassandra Cain

- One of the first things that we noticed was that Cassandra Cain mentioned she was in foster care. Now that might not seem too out of the ordinary for a street kid, it's important in regards to Cass and her comic book origin. In the DC Comics, Cass is the daughter of Lady Shiva and David Cain who train her to be an assassin. Now it doesn't look like Cass got that training here (although she is quite good with her hands). But the fact that she's fostered means that we could learn more about her real parents going forward...

- When Cassandra Cain is initially unable to respond to Montoya’s question in the precinct, it’s a nod to how the character couldn’t speak in her early appearances. This was due to her brutal training by her father which put the ability to kill above the ability to communicate.

- This probably isn't the direction they're going to take her in the movies, but in the comics, Cassandra Cain wore the mantle of Batgirl for a number of years, and rocked one of the coolest costumes in the Bat-family while doing it!

Black Mask

- The Janus Corporation gets several mentions and background appearances in the movie, notably in a "Janus Cosmetic" billboard. In Black Mask's comics origin, Janus was the foundation of the Sionis family fortune, and Roman made a fortune on flawed cosmetics that ultimately ended up scarring its wearers. The appearance of Janus here is another tie to the wider DCEU as well, as we had previously seen a Janus sign all the way back in the Justice League movie.

- Roman’s “fuck family” rant is the closest this character feels to his earliest comics appearances, where he resented his parents and actually created his mask from the wood of his father's coffin. Roman is a weird guy.

- Roman keeps an extensive collection of exotic masks, as he did in the comics, even before he adopted his villainous alter ego.

- Later in the movie, Roman's goons all wear strange and exotic masks which works as a rad homage to his crew in the comics who were known as the False Face Society.

Gotham City

- During the third act of the movie we see Harley take on Black Mask at the so-called "Founders Pier" though that isn't a location we know from Gotham City, it seems like it could be a mashup of Founders Island in the Arkham series of games and Gotham Pier in various Batman movies and comics. That's not the only landmark familiar to gamers, as Amusement Mile, the location of the Funhouse is a key location in the North East of Gotham in both the Batman comics and the award-winning Batman: Arkham games.

- Harley mentions Robinson Park, a landmark in Gotham City which is named for classic Batman artist Jerry Robinson. It's a regular fixture in the comics and has been mentioned in Joker as well as other DC movies.

Suicide Squad

- During that epic evidence room fight we caught a glimpse of what looked Katana's iconic sword from Suicide Squad.

- In the third act when Harley and the gang are battling the gangs of Gotham they're in the top of a funhouse and the windows are covered with Joker-style "ha-ha-ha" graffiti. When she looks for her weapons stash it's all gone revealing that it was clearly an old safe house for Harley and Joker.

- The building that Harley crashes the truck into is ACE Chemicals which is historically where he first turned into the Joker. In Suicide Squad this is also where Harleen was turned into Harley, this destruction is a key part of her titular emancipation! What's more, when Harley is reminiscing about her origin story, the movie reuses footage from Suicide Squad meaning that it's definitely in canon with past DCEU efforts.

- Some other nods that Suicide Squad is 100% in continuity focus on Harley joking about the events of the film, cutting her Squad hairstyle off, and the infamous “Daddy’s Little Monster" shirt that she says has "sentimental value."

- Something that is interesting here though is that any and all references and footage of the Joker are definitely not Jared Leto and seem to be almost aggressively generic and more of an implication of the Joker rather than any specific representation of him.

Miscellaneous Cool Stuff

- The "famous Gotham artist" who made Roman's statue could be the Bat-family villain Grotesque or in a more deep-cut and silly reference it could be a Batman '66 villain known as the Clock King who pretends to be an artist when he isn’t committing bizarre time-based crimes.

- Harley mentioning that she once stole "Eleanor Rosevelt's nudes" for the Joker is especially funny because the first lady was actually introduced in to the DC universe canon as a character in 1981's All-Star Squadron #3.

- Harley and Cassandra are watching a Tweety and Sylvester cartoon, and there’s a Porky Pig VHS tape on top of the TV, this is not just a cool Warner Bros. animation nod, but also pays homage to the fact that the film really feels like a live action Looney Tunes cartoon, which is exactly what Harley Quinn should be!

- Though we couldn't find anything about the Golden Lion crime family in the comic we were wondering if the name of Mr. Keo's organization could be a nod to the similarly named award that Joker took home at the Venice Film Festival last year.

- This might just be us living in a dream world but we think that one of Roman’s goons in the funhouse near the end was dressed like almost-forgotten DC Comics character, B’wana Beast!

Birds of Prey Post-Credits Scene

There isn't a post-credits scene in Birds of Prey, but we DO get a post-credits voiceover. Harley says “I hear Batman f…” before it gets cut off. This is likely a reference to the excellent Harley Quinn animated series on DC Universe where Harley refers to Batman as “a guy who fucks bats.”

Her father is a very powerful mob boss around the west coast and her mother is a bio chemist. Parents are divorced due to her father's line of work becoming too dangerous for the family. Kind of the black sheep of the family since she's very shy and isolated due to certain events in her childhood. Jennifer lives with her father and has recently began to partake in his line of work, much to her mother's and siblings knowledge; but then decides to leave that life. She later becomes a vigilante in her area, basically doing what the batfam does. Has light brown eyes, light olive skin, is 5'6 and shoulder-length raven black hair. Years later her friend died and she escaped. She trained for months with no pauses while living in the streets and became a warrior so she tracked down her "family" and killed them, that day she became shadow, a antihero. She took over her "family's" business and is the leader of their "mafia" but she always make sure that they're not hurting the wrong people.”

I also saw that you were doing OC ships and was wondering if you could do my OC? Her name is Makayla Fray and her alias is Red Comet. She has wavey dirty blonde hair that is always in her face and Red eyes. Powers- she can fly, and when she does there is a red haze around her ( i always picture the tail of a Comet or the light that radiates from it) her body tempurature is normally 115-120. She has something sort of like a plasma blast and has super strength. Although her powers mainly relate to heat/fire, she can't really use them to their full potential; because, like a comet (which is basically like a dirty snowball), whenever she gets to hot or uses her powers to much she starts to deteriorate. She's brunette with natural blonde highlights here and there, since almost everyone in her family is blonde, except her dad. She's loyal, like her brother but sometimes she too damn dump. She has severe depression and she hates to admit so. She's constantly on her own little world, she's an artist and she actually studies art. Her dad forces her to become a cop just like her brother so they can have an eye on her. She decided that she should join the police academy after she had an affair with her professor at the college. (She was forced in this affair by him though, with blackmailing and stuff). Her old relationships hunt her, nobody has ever been too good to her and they seem to always take advantage of her insecurities. She loves her family too, but maybe not as much as her brother. She wants to get away from everyone and everything and be her own self. She doesn't want anyone to control her, she wants to be free and not to have to dye her hair blonde or black to fit the standards of others. she somehow needs someone to order her around. Sometimes she's feisty but she instantly regrets it.”

Her mother gave her to the Amazons because she couldn't take care of her. There at the age of four she killed an Amazons with her powers. The other Amazons expected Hippolyta to kill her or give her back to her mother but Hippolyta choose to help her gain discipline and with the right amount of practice she became a manhunter, working especially for the Amazons. Later on she came to men's world to go after Diana. But things were difficult because she didn't know the language. Being in the men's world though made her want to know about her biological parents. After long fights with Diana she decided to stay in the streets. I won't brag about it much, but it was Dick who helped her learn English and helped her settle, and overtime she fell for him. Once she was rejected she was reminded that she was a monster, who only killed people and maybe that's why she wasn't able to be loved. But overall, she never does anything without being ordered too. She might appear as extremely pretty or fierce, as a woman so badass you have to fear, but she's so weak inside. But being an Amazon means she has no single insecurity. She always tells forward for those who indeed have and tried her best to protect the weak and clear her killer name”
