Trying to imagine Lucy’s situation right now.

Sleep means nightmares (if you’re alone).

And it’s all just Dracula playing with his food. The only thing keeping him from getting straight to the conclusion is his own restraint for the sadistic sport of it and practicing stealth in a land where he doesn’t yet rule the whole territory through fear.

But he could get away with it in one go. He could find half a dozen easy ways to pull it off before Van Helsing starts meddling in earnest.

it's funny because back in the day people used to say they couldn't/didn't ship characters of color because they were "boring" or "under developed" compared to gringitos but now that we have a slew of well developed, interesting, and prominent chars of color people just say you can't ship them because of [insert problematic bingo square] and idk man I find all that cardi b that's suspious dot gif

Are there any Vampire Harker Power Couple in any books or comics or anywhere?

None that I can think of in traditional media/publishing :(

But there's plenty of good stuff here on Tumblr!

They're not vampires in it but you've got the excellent excellent @lxgentlefolkcomic where the Harkers and the rest of the Crew of Light are continuing to battle eldritch beings after Dracula /whilst/ being in love and in character

@see-arcane has some excellent Vampire Harkers stuff on their Substack

And the above and me and several other authors have made a Bad End AU thats got Vampire Harker Power Couple called "Blood of My Blood" thats just about to wrap up if you want to check it out!

(Since it is a collab AU that's been written between November of 2023 and now there's a lot of chapters but they're of varying lengths. Think of it as a written out television series with like, three seasons 😅 )

Sadly, our good friend is not a fan of the Hellsingverse's attitude to dumping people willy-nilly into the meat grinder of monster fights for Badass McCool reasons.

I do think that Jonathan would have built up genuine respect for Integra until this point. There might have been something like admiration for how she could (mostly) corral Alucard and engage with his mind game nonsense without having to tug on the magical leash. And she's in charge of an organization dedicated entirely to protecting people from monstrous threats! All big pluses!

And then Brazil happens.

The respect falls apart like sand. Where Jonathan would remember Abraham as a man willing to martyr Mina or, it turns out, magically enslave Dracula to his own bloodline for the greater good, Abraham's descendant looks as if she's willing to allow the sacrifice of misled forces and innocent civilians as collateral damage simply for the sake of calling an enemy's bluff. There is nothing noble in it. Nothing he might even try to sympathize with, being Mr. Holiest Love.

All he sees is a show of her attack dog's power and her own complicity in the laissez-faire carnage so long as Alucard takes the enemy down.

I wonder where he's off to...
