Caelian/Salaician/Astracian

So I’ve decided that today that I would make a semi alternative to terms like Uranic and Neptunic since I felt it didn’t describe me enough. The non monochrome colors are supposed to represent attraction to binary and other genders related or similar to binary genders. And the yellow colors at the bottom are supposed to represent Saturnic attraction or attraction to androgynous and neutral genders. I took some inspiration from the Saturnic flag when making my flags as well as inspiration from Greek and Roman gods and goddesses when coining the names.

Caelian ( or Caelic):

1) being both Uranic and Saturnic, for any reason (including the split attraction model)

2) attraction to all genders as long as they are MIN-aligned or masculine in nature ( may or may not exclude fully agender folks)

Salacian ( or Salacic):

1) being both Neptunic and Saturnic, for any reason (including the split attraction model)

2) attraction to all genders as long as they are FIN-aligned or feminine in nature ( may or may not exclude fully agender folks)

Astraic (also called Astracian, Ophecian, Opheic):

1) being Uranic, Neptunic, and Saturnic, for any reason

2) attraction to all genders as long as they are FIN and MIN aligned, (may or may not exclude agender folks)

Anyone can edit these flags if they want!

Hi anon, thank you for your kind words. You're right, there aren't many time loop cherik fics out there, so if anyone is considering writing a time loop fic or is interested then there is definitely a space to explore that trope more in this fandom. I do have a few fics, the first one if definitely the most popular and probably the one you've already read but there are a few more. If someone knows of other fics then please let me know so I could add them to the list.

Summary: During a hot summer at the Xavier Institute, Peter wakes up and spends the day as he normally does: prepping the school for the return of the students, spending quality time with his teammates, delaying telling Erik that they’re related, and going on a mission to rescue mutants from an experimental government facility. Unlike any other day however, he makes an error in judgment that results in him dying a horrible death.

The next morning, he wakes up to find that none of that has happened, and he’s reliving the very same day all over again.

What a wonderful time it's been. The Great Year-End Fuck 2020 TUA Fandom Bang hosted by Elliott’s House fan server is coming to a close, and we couldn't be happier to have had the opportunity to share these amazing works with everyone.

This fandom is so talented and so full of life, and rich with stories and creativity. To all the participants, thank you for joining in and making something absolutely incredible that no doubt has already - and will continue to - bring joy to fandom community. Every story has a reader, every artwork has an admirer, and all of it is born simply out of love for yet another story, and yet another artwork (does naked Rob Sheehan count as art?). Imagine that - creating simply for the love of it!

Moreover, I think such a fun and inclusive event really brings out the fandom's brightest colours. The diversity of all sorts - all walks of life, different perspectives and tastes and experiences is really showcased here, and I find it so beautiful! I hope others in our fandom will be inspired by the positivity and love you've all shared with us this past week, from whatever corners of the community you call home. 7. What’s the last thing you read that made you cry?

Fics don’t really make me cry often, and I can only remember one particular instance of one doing that to me tbh: Under the Surface by Caelice on ff.net. It’s a Durarara!! fic, and I don’t know if it’d make me cry nowadays, but quite a few years ago I was in tears because of the emotion in this fic, and the tragic ending.

19. What’s your favorite character headcanon?

The one that comes to mind is that John Seed has some strand of borderline personality disorder. I read that in a fic once and was like, Wow. It makes sense. He certainly fits the bill! I’m sure there are more headcanons from different fandoms but that’s all I’m thinking about right now.

In S1E2, when Claudia describes the sky primal stone to Callum, she says that the storm inside was captured from the top of mount Kaelic (Caelic? Kaylic?), and in E9, she tells Soren that the highest mountain in Katolis is mount Kaelic. Which means the primal stone was crafted in Katolis! It's pretty neat. At least it explains to some degree how Viren came to be in possession of such a rare artifact.

Magical Mechanics of Any’s Island

Magic energy reacts consistently when formed into specific shapes. What each shape, or basic rune, does, can only be determined by experimentation. But after hundreds of years, an alphabet of functions was discovered. This shape is propulsion, this shape is direction, this shape is light, heat, sound, etcetera.

The combination of basic runes allows for even more expressions of magic. Different permutations of the sound rune can make spoken words, or music. Propulsion plus direction plus diffusion of force over a body can propel someone very quickly in a specific direction. Basic runes are arranged in spell arrays or magic circles, in order to distribute the energy evenly and according to precise instructions.

It might take a lot of basic runes to make a single magic circle for a desired action. Let’s say you want to jump very high in the air. You need a circle determining how much power is withdrawn from the battery, then a rune for propulsion, even distribution along the cells of the body, direction. Then another circle for constant force pushing against gravity so that you don’t fall down just as quickly. So a simple command becomes a large circle.

Once you’ve written the spell though, you can link it to a complex rune. And suddenly the large flight spell can be contained in a single high-jump rune. Other complex spells have their own complex runes—flight, fire, far-speech, and other functions. There are tens of thousands of spell arrays in the Center Island’s library whose runes magicians must learn. It’s possible to make your own runes of course, but that’s a waste of time and energy, not to mention the physical resources to create a lasting spell array. It is the usual role of wizards to write these magic circles and create the rune.

People with enough internal magic can draw the complex runes straight into the air to cast spells. Combining complex runes leads to even more possibilities and flexibilities. This is the usual role of magicians. People without sufficient internal magic levels (for whatever reason) must use batteries to write caelic runes. There are special batteries shapes like styli made for the purpose, known colloquially as magic wands.

I dont really think you want a body like this, it's ridiculously long, it's been the same weight since I was 11, it's lung has collapsed so many times it needed major surgery, it doesn't produce it's own serotonin or oestrogen, it's possibly got an allergy to fructose, it's mother thinks it's got a caelic allergy like the rest of its family, it's missing breasts or any curves, it has no uterus, it has a whole bunch of unwanted external genitalia, it's feet are HUGE, and if it stands up too quickly it often passes out

Summary:

Only he miscalculates. Instead of landing in the future, he lands in the dimension that exists in between his jumps. A dimension filled with darkness, horror and a tentacled monster that he’s never seen fully before, but that he knows all too well.

A monster that lives inside his brother, Ben.

Excerpt:

The world was dark and different in front of him. Where he had been walking down the street only a second ago, he was now on muddy, slippery soil covered in sharpened vines.

Five tried to retreat, but he lost his footing and went tumbling forward. He crashed against rocks and branches and thorns which snagged onto his blazer and skin, cutting him as he went and stinging his palms.

He stayed there for a few moments, breathing heavily and digging his sore fingers into the slimy black soil underneath. Above him, a steady shower of rain soaked into his clothes.

It was bitterly cold, unrelentingly so, both the ground and the wind around him.

When his breathing had finally slowed, he braved a look around himself, and wished he hadn’t.

He knew instantly this wasn’t his world.

It was dreary and dark, grey clouds blanketing the land as far as the eye could see, and not a single ray of sunshine peeking through. Instead any light was emanating from cracks in the ground and soil in a greenish pulsating glow. There was no live greenery to be seen, only blackened trees and vines criss crossing over the flat ground that reached towards the horizon in black waves.

The rain was falling in steady droplets, light and sharp and drenching the ground enough to leave a thin layer of moisture.

Around him were building lining the empty streets around him, broken and crumbling and somehow alive. They stood tall and dark and ominous, covered in pulsating plant-like entities with only the green glow emanating from inside.

Five stood up slowly, his knees trembling as he took in his surroundings.

There was no one else in the vicinity, at least not as far as his eyes could see. He was alone.

“Hello?” he called out, but no one responded. He tried to ignore how his voice trembled in fear. “Is anyone there?”

Silence.

He began to shiver, the cold seeping into his clothes and into his bones, and he wrapped his arms around himself.

He had miscalculated. Badly.
