With DEADPOOL AND WOLVERINE crossing the billion dollar mark at the box office, congratulations are in order. JOKER director Todd Phillips salutes the film that toppled his record.
Ryan Reynolds responds.
Some time ago the Twitter account All the Right Movies compiled some previous filmmakers salutes to those who broke their records.
For decades it was Spielberg to Lucas to Cameron.
and the rest
-During the entire post-release for DEADPOOL AND WOLVERINE, Ryan Reynolds, Shawn Levy and Hugh Jackman have been making appreciation posts to those who were in the film. Reynolds had one more appreciation post in him and it's for Hugh.
obsessed with the whole "father to his men trope" to begin with, but if it's a bad guy who gives his kiddos headpats, i am hyperfixating on them for the next month.

"We've been media-trained" - Ruby Stokes, Cameron Chapman, and Ali Hadji-Heshmati on This Morning with Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield. There are some behind-the-scenes photos that we've never seen before :)
It feels out of character for John and Sarah Connor that the minute Cameron told them she wasn't programmed to follow their orders they didn't immediately bug the fuck out of there and leave her in the dust. Working with a terminator who you can just order not to use lethal force is one thing, but working with a terminator that's free to kill at its own discretion is actually insane. There's literally a scene where a pair of cops accost Cameron and she instantly gets the murder/death/kill mode look in her eyes when they threaten to call it in and Sarah sees this and has to quickly step in to de-escalate and all I could think was that Sarah obviously can't be there 24/7. The next time this happens, some totally innocent person is going to get their lungs ripped out and it'll be on the Connors' heads.
