#camilo best madrigal
Isabela: Ugh, I would MURDER someone to get that designer bag.
Luisa: Don't you think that's a disproportionate reaction?
Camilo: Life is temporary, drip is forever.
Isabela: SEE, HE GETS IT.
Luisa: Both of you are a menace.

Camilo trying not to be a perv prompt
18 year old camilo and female reader do their daily best friend hang outs at the river all alone. What was once a sit and talk moment now becomes a throwing water fight.
After a bit of fun, camilo turns to find the readers dress soaking wet, noticing how clear the white top has gotten. His face goes super red as he falls backwards into the water with a loud yelp.
Of course, the reader didn’t notice how see through your clothes had gotten so she tried to help him out of the water. Instead, camilo rushes backwards to the other side of the river, panting and trying to explain what happens to her clothes.
When he finally managed to spit out the words as he looked away, glancing at her with still a red face here and there.
“What?! Camilo, you pervert!!” She yells out, covering her chest in embarrassment.
“I tried to tell you!!” He yells out.
After a bit of yelling at each other, camilo stumbles his way back through the river to the reader and gently puts his ruana over her to keep her covered.
“Just…give it back tomorrow…” he mumbles, walking her back home.

I feel like the unofficial adopted kids (especially the abused ones) will use the last name “Madrigal” to estrange themself from the last name they got from their parents/guardian.
Also, when a kid (or kids) feels unsafe at home do they go to Dolores and/or Mariano? I’m sure it’s a yes but I’m just makin sure.
I kind of imagine a kid running to Tia Casita and going through the secret back door to Dolores. And in the morning all of the other madrigals just wake up and see a random kid at the breakfast table. Lolo silently dares anyone to say anything with her side eye.
In that type of situation she’ll have the kid stay at Casita with Camilo, Mirabel, and Antonio while she beats up the people who made her baby feel any sort of pain (and takes them to the authorities right afterwards.)
And on the plus side, a new baby gets to stay with her!
Lil side thought: The kids definitely call Mariano’s grandmother Bisabuela and it warms her heart so much.
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE NAMES 🙏 ITS AN HONOR
Also I’m pretty sure that’s the case with most of the children there!! Don’t like being a (surname)? Dont worry just be a madrigal! 😃👍
When any of the children just start to feel bad at a certain point, they most likely go to Dolores. Calling her or just go into the room! But I’m sure that if they noticed that Dolores is busy they definitely will go to Mariano too :)
I would say that Dolores would’ve wanted the kids to rather have breakfast in the room since most of them maybe don’t trust any other adult but if they would still want to stay with Dolores (or any of the others) she would bring them down without an expectation!
Sooo true! It’s like- you hurt them and Dolores will hurt you 🙌 Dolores loves taking in new babies, since they’re literally adorable 🥹
Bisabuela on her way!💪 (literally such an cute name for her💕)
Tumblr media
The next morning after Dolores took the two in
Alma would’ve been just like “seriously…an other one..”
Julieta and Agustín would start to eventually adore them! (But then question later on from where they come from)
Pepa would be confused meanwhile casita accidentally left Félix out! (Not in a mean way, he was just late and casita forgot)
Mariano would’ve come to visti too, just to make sure everything’s okay! (Alma would think he came for Isabela, and would put him next to her which annoyed dolores a lot)
Mirabel would tell the kids that she would come play later! (She’s their favorite playmate and it’s normal for them to eat faster than the Madrigals)
Antonio introduces the girl everyone in his family and would definitely keep talking to her!
Isabela would get annoyed that Dolores is doing it, thinking she’s trying to ruin breakfast time (but she actually also adores the new children)
Camilo would try to irritate Isabela on purpose when he sees that she gets annoyed by it, mostly he does it because he knows that she likes the children (he makes sure they eventually talk to her too, if the wanna)
Luisa waves to the little one, also finding it adorable :D (Camilo did it on purpose but then he started to wave on his own)
And dolores just stares Alma down, daring her to say anything about it!
+ Mariano’s grandmother (don’t have a name yet) would be with the children upstairs, making sure they’re okay while Dolores is gone

Prompt idea if you're taking them:
4 year old Mirabel coming home with her new glasses and is nervous about what everyone might think 💚
Sure thing! Always open to prompts. If I ever have to close the inbox, I promise I'll let everyone know
Otherwise, send whatever comes to mind!
Tumblr media
"You promise they look nice?" Mirabel asked again on the way home.
"You're pretty as a princess, amor," Julieta promised. Mirabel still looked nervous, pushing her new glasses up the bridge of her nose. It made her look very much like Agustín.
"Can't you fix 'em?" Mirabel asked for the fifth time. Julieta smiled patiently, squeezing her daughter's hand.
"There's nothing to fix," she said. "I promise, Mira, you're perfect just the way you are."
Indeed, not even Camilo teased Mirabel for the new glasses. Instead, he huffed that Mirabel had something new and he didn't, then asked to try them on.
He lasted maybe ten seconds before taking them back off, blinking rapidly.
"Oh, that was weird!" he said, rubbing his eyes. "Why'd they make everything blurry?"
"Because they're only for Mira," Pepa explained, ruffling Camilo's hair. "Everyone's glasses are different, mijo."
Bruno, looking exhausted and pale, managed a bright smile as he plucked the glasses for Camilo's hands and gently placed them back on Mirabel's face.
"You look very grown up, mariposa," he said. Mirabel's eyes brightened; like most small children, she very badly wanted to be grown up.
Agustín pretended not to recognise her, clutching his heart and saying, "Ay, Miraboo, you're too pretty for words!"
For the first time all day, Mirabel giggled, swishing her skirt. "You're silly, Papí," she said fondly.
Alma bent down with a gentle smile, cupping Mirabel's face in her hands. Her eyes held that familia warmth as she took in her granddaughter's appearance; the baby of the family, her "little wonder."
"They suit you, corazón," Alma said, kissing Mirabel's cheek. "They suit you very well indeed."
"See?" Julieta said, gently poking Mirabel on the nose. "You've nothing to worry about at all."

Isabela, texting Camilo while in a meeting: Call me in five minutes and say I gotta come get you.
Camilo: On a scale of 1 to 10, what kind of emergency is this.
Isabela: 10, get me out of here.
Camilo: Put me on speaker, I'll even start crying.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY @greenvillainredemption
I hope this little story will cheer you up. You know how Disney usually makes their villains have a green color theme? Well how about a little 'green villain redemption'? *wink wink*
*******************************
Mirabel lounges back against the trunk of a tree and watches through half-lidded eyes as Bruno and Camilo bicker back and forth about the plot of their next play. She is so glad that the two of them got over their initial awkwardness with each other. Camilo's guilt about his misinterpretation of their uncle and Bruno's anxiety about the ensuing distance between the two of them had been painful to watch at times.
"I still think letting the same character fake her death twice is… overkill."
Camilo snorts at his own joke while Bruno just raises an unimpressed eyebrow. "You can never have too many funerals where the character reveals that she is actually still alive. You can't get more dramatic than that! And theater is all about the drama!"
"I thought the whole point of theater is to engage the audience?"
"Yes! Through drama!"
Mirabel snickers silently. Her Tio gets so endearingly passionate about his plays.
Before the discussion can grow even more heated, Antonio emerges from his tree house, riding on Parce's back and waving a book over his head. The little boy joins them under the tree and beams at the three family members that have agreed to join him in his room to read him a story together.
"I found it! This one."
He holds up the book and as soon as she reads the title Mirabel glances at her uncle.
There is no obvious outward change in Bruno's attitude, but Mirabel has grown quite accustomed to noticing even the smallest changes in his demeanor. So she doesn't miss the tightening around his eyes or how his smile grows a bit tense.
It's Antonio's favorite book at the moment. A collection of short stories and fables by someone named Dalt Wisney. Princesses and knights and witches and dragons. All the stuff that's usually right up Tio Bruno's alley.
But something about that book seems to bother him.
Not that he would ever tell Antonio! The boy loves the book and Bruno is doing a great job at reading from it with different voices. Which is probably one of the reasons why Antonio loves it so much and almost always chooses this one for story time.
A vicious circle.
Bruno keeps smiling and reaches for the book. "Great choice, Tonito."
For a split second Mirabel wonders if maybe she should just mind her own business, but she had never been particularly good at that.
Before she can intervene though, she is beaten to the punch.
"What bothers you about that book so much?"
Bruno startles, much like Mirabel, and stares at Camilo. The boy is frowning and has crossed his arms over his chest.
"Wha.. Uhm, what?"
Camilo scoffs and rolls his eyes. "Come on. Takes an actor to know an actor. It's obvious you don't like that book. Why?"
Antonio pulls the book back towards his chest before Bruno can take it. "You don't like it?"
Bruno flails his arms and looks terribly flustered. Mirabel elbows Camilo in the side. While she had planned to mention it as well, she would have at least done it with a bit more tact.
"It's not like that, amigo! I like the stories! They're fun! It's just… well…"
"What is it?" Antonio doesn't look sad or angry. He looks very curious. "Some of them are kinda sad. Do they make you too sad?"
Mirabel's heart swells. What a good, sensitive boy her little primo is.
Bruno apparently feels the same because he sighs happily and pulls the boy to sit on his lap so he can rub his head against the curly head. "Aw Tonito. It's not that, don't worry." He sighs once more and reaches around the boy to take the book out of his hands. Antonio wiggles until he is sitting on Bruno's lap with his back against the man's chest, the book opened in front of them. Their usual reading positions.
Mirabel and Camilo crowd closer as Bruno flips through the book at a steady pace.
"I like the stories. It's just that… well every villain is… green."
"Green?" Mirabel mutters. Her eyes track the pages which have a lot of illustrations besides the text.
"Their color scheme." At Antonio's questioning hum, he explains. "The color that represents them. When they do their evil deeds." He growls the last two words and tickles Antonio, who immediately giggles. "When the witch curses the princess." He flips a page. "When the lion kills his brother." Another page. "When the evil stepmother locks the poor cinder girl away."
Green green green.
"I never noticed." Camilo says.
Bruno smiles and closes the book. "Didn't expect you to. It's not a big deal. It's just… when I was younger the other kids would say that my eyes are creepy, you know? Glowing green and stuff. They would call me-" he glances down at Antonio's head "names. Not nice names. I guess, seeing all the villains in this book having green as their signature color… I don't know. I'm just being stupid."
"You are not stupid!" Antonio denies vehemently. "This author is stupid! And the kids back then were stupid! Green is a great color! It's the best color. Lots of nice things are green. Mira's glasses are green!"
Mirabel touches her glasses, a pleased smile on her face. "Yes they are! I chose them 'cause I liked the color, you know? And yes, a lot of nice things are green. Like plants. And Isa's cacti! Oh, and four-leaf clovers. They are green and they bring good luck!"
"And apples!" Antonio shouts. "I love apples and they are sometimes green."
Camilo grimaces at the mention of apples. He is not a fruit guy. "Chameleons. Chameleons are green."
Mirabel smirks at her cousin. "And sometimes Cami eats too much and gets a bit green around the nose. That's not scary or evil. That's just funny."
Camilo smirks right back. "And sometimes Mirabel gets green with jealousy cause I can eat however much I want without gaining any weight and she can't. That's also quite funny, don't you think?"
Bruno's laughter interrupts them. He is looking less tense already, the crow's feet around his eyes more pronounced when he smiles.
"It's alright kids. Green is great, I get it." He opens the book again and nudges Antonio's shoulder. "How about we read a story now? Like I said, I like them. I'm happy to read them to you, Tonito."
Antonio scrunches up his nose in thought before throwing himself out of Bruno's lap. "Wait here!"
He returns quickly with various crayons which he dumps on all of their laps. "I wanna recolor the villains first!"
"Oh Antonio, are you sure you want to draw in your book? Won't you regret it?"
"Nope!" Antonio has already grabbed a red crayon and is busy recoloring the eyes of a witch. "I don't want them to be green anymore! Green is the color of the good guys now."
Mirabel makes sure to ignore the tears gathering in her uncle's eyes to spare him the embarrassment and grabs a pink crayon. "I wanna color that evil stepsister pink!"
"Because Isabela used to wear pink all the time?"
"Whaaaaaat? Pffffft. Nooooo!"
They spend the afternoon recololoring all the villains and even making some of the heroes wear green.
Not a word is being read that afternoon, but that's okay.
At the end of the day, the book is a lot more colorful.

I FINALLY HAVE MY ST AU FIGURED OUT. IM FINALLY HAPPY WITH HOW IT IS. OH MY DAYS. okay so. let me add all relationships are purely platonic. which means no romance plotlines. no byler, no mileven, no jancy/stancy, no jopper, none of that. all of it is just friends being friends. @cryptid-moone threw some ideas at me and they stuck well so i really think this is gonna work
wilbur as mike, hiro as will, camilo as lucas, penny as dustin, violet as eleven, i was thinking riley for max, cass as joyce (obvi), tadashi as jonathan AND nancy, bob as hopper, helen as terry, lucius as becky, the entire bh6 group (gogo, wasabi, honey, fred) all take the role of steve somewhat. they are both emotional support 4 tadashi but also help him plenty in finding hiro. (not robin, i am only planning on writing s1 and s2)
bonus useless stuff: violet still has super long hair, no buzz cut. switched da setting 2 san fransokyo (the most fleshed out of the future4 settings) but keeping it in da 80s
I EVEN GOT SOME DIALOGUE WRITTEN OUT :3!
"Hey! Just where do you think you're going? Franny told you-" - Carl
"I know what mom said! But Hiro's out there, I just know it! I can't sit here and do nothing!" Wilbur says as he goes to exit the garage
"H-Hey! You can't just-" - Carl, but hes cut off by the garage door closing. He sighs and walks away, deciding not to comment for now
-
"Hiro? HIRO? CAN YOU HEAR ME? Are you alright?!" - w, visibly panicked
"..I don't think you guys got them.. for good." - h
-
The mysterious girl lifted the lavender sleeve, revealing a tattoo. It read, VI.
"Whoa, is that real??" Wilbur mused, perking up in interest. He inched his hand closer to the ink, but before he could come in contact with it, the girl ripped her wrist away from him.
"Ah, sorry." Wilbur said, holding his hands up to his chest in a fake surrender.
Wilbur squinted his eyes, observing the marking. "..VI. Like 6? Huh." He paused, placing his index finger to his chin in thought. "Okay, well... How about I name you Vi-olet? Would that be alright?" Wilbur asked, smirking proudly at the name.
After some consideration, the girl nodded. Violet it is.
-
I FEEL SO SILLY RIGHT NOW HEHEEHE!!!!
