Because I read I, Strahd and I fucking love Alek Gwilym, and because I think Rahadin's character is a little flat in comparison, I'm going to give Rahadin a whole new story in my CoS campaign. Because I also love the Dusk Elves. I think they're very intriguing. I think they and Rahadin can have a tragic narrative that doesn't involve usurping Alek's place in Strahd's backstory. (Also, yes, Alek will be there to fill the role of Chamberlain. Thank you P. N. for making him disappear mysteriously; I do what I want.)

I Need DnD Help!

I gave my players aa Sending Stone, so they an use the Sending Spell once per day. My BBEG also showed up recently to taunt one of them, try to get in their head. NOW THEY'RE PLANNING TO START PRANK CALLING HIM! How do I even deal with this?! How do I maintain an illusion of dignity and malevolence when the Paladin is calling the Plague of Eyes like, "Hello, this is the Plague of Noses! *Sneezes 18 times*" I need ideas!

Because I am infected with "loving my D&D characters too much" disease I have decided that my next really big video project is going to be a dramatic retelling of the events of our D&D game (the one Verity comes from).

I'm going to narrate it and I have the other players and DM on board to do voice lines for their characters. I want to storyboard the whole thing. The first video will be the entire first story arc that covers about 6-7 months of the campaign. I've spent most of the weekend turning my rambling campaign recaps into a script and I'm probably about halfway done? The whole thing may end up being close to an hour.

My first ever DND session is tomorrow OOUGHHH I'm nervous but excited!!

I'm playing as a "human" ranger (put in quotes bc my character isn't actually human but is just masquerading as one), if you guys have any tips on what to do in a first session please let me know I'm going into this pretty much blind lol

It'll be a relatively short session (like 3 hours tops) and I honestly do not know what to expect so. Any advice is appreciated 🙏

I've seen a lot of theories that q!Jaiden is a scientist who made Cucurucho but my theory is that she is the same thing she was for q!Foolish when he was running for president.

For anyone who might not know, q!Jaiden wrote his introduction speech and even came rushing in to help q!Foolish during his interview with q!Max and helped him come up with ideas on how to present his ideas to be better accepted by the islanders.

 And I think that is exactly what she did and is doing again for Cucurucho. She’s helping them phrase their words better and act in a way that will get a better reaction from all of the islanders. I mean, who else would teach Cucurucho to give q!Fit a hug and say good job to him after he completed a task!! That's so q!Jaiden coded you know she immediately taught them how to hug first thing!! 

Also this might be why q!Jaiden has reacted so well to Cucurucho in the long run, she helped shape their personality, of course she would react the best to Cucurucho!

GMs and DMs of Tumblr, what do you do when writing\creating content for your world\session? Do you use a play list? Or is it one track on repeat depending on what you're making? I've noticed I find one track for the day and just repeat that. Critical Role's 'Welcome to Wildemount' Back to the Blooming Grove is getting me miles today.

im realizing ive never played an rpg with romancable companions like i completely missed the boat on the mass effect/dragon age type games in high school. kotor doesnt count imo and the last long form rpg i played was literally 36 bit. that being said even if i KNEW it was coming (like i knew it was coming. sort of) lae'zel hitting on my tav shocked me so much i logged off LOL
