i wanna know more about the jerries/jeris
do you want to know the most horrific thing about them?
the lords did nothing to make them the way they are.
yes, the jerry jr was turned into the axeman because of the witchwood, which does what it does because of the lords, but everything leading up to that is just human nature. i see the "girl jeri is nibbly" or "they were influenced by a lord to do the thngs they do" and i need people to understand that that's just. not true. they're just like that. they were taught to be like that by their parents and, more accurately, their church. it's horrifyingly accurate how religion has shaped them into non-functional human beings, who would rather potentially lose their child to the many, many dangers of the literal woods than admit that they had sex outside of marriage.
it's only because it's hatchetfield that jerry jr grew the way he did. there was no lord's intervention in their decision to keep the baby, or to drop out of school to care for him, or to keep him seperated from any other people, or to revolve their lives around the idea that they'd committed a sin and needed to pay by pushing celibacy rather than. i don't know. properly raising their child. it was the way they were taught. the toxic pushing of overexaggerated christian ideals is what molded them. can you imagine being in their place? being a scared teenager and knowing that if you told any of the people you care about most your secret that they would shun you and disown you?
the only people they felt any kind of safe around were each other; of course they're going to be codependent. and even then, they're disgusted by each other for leading them to sin. they're stuck together unwillingly, because without the other, they're alone.

i genuinely don't care how good a piece of ai generated art or writing looks on the surface. i don't care if it emulates brush strokes and metaphor in a way indistinguishable from those created by a person.
it is not the product of thoughtful creation. it offers no insights into the creator's life or viewpoint. it has no connection to a moment in time or a place or an attitude. it has no perspective. it has no value.
it's empty, it's hollow, and it exists only to generate clicks (and by extension, ad revenue.)
it's just another revolting symptom of the disease that is late stage capitalism, and it fucking sucks.

Things that absolutely fucked my shit up this episode, an incomprehensible list:
- Ellie liked the smell of Frank’s sleeping bag
- Joel still wearing Frank’s shirt
- Joel staying up all night to guard while Ellie slept
- “They’re not gonna hit you. Look at me, they’re not gonna hit you.”
- “Mom! Mom! Mom!”
- The way the doctor gave the lines “I delivered you. I held you in my hands.” and “I’m your doctor” so simply when asked for reasons why he shouldn’t be killed
- Ellie’s smile when Joel tried to tug the gun from her hand
- The way Joel bumbled his way through trying to make sure Ellie was okay, and ask if she wanted to talk about it after she shot Bryan
- All of the superhero drawings on the wall that Sam drew of him and Henry
- The mask that Sam had drawn on his face
Something about how everyone is undeniably human, and how unafraid they are of not shying away from that.

It's kind of funny that Kendall and Shiv are both equally delusional about their ability to charm people for business and somehow think they can do it even though they choke almost every single time, whereas it's like the one thing Roman is consistently good at despite being the "least legitimate" option.
I think part of this comes down to the fact that Shiv and Kendall both have very clear ideas of the versions of themselves they're trying to be and the images they're trying to project, and they're trying so hard to be seen that way that they end up coming off as a little desperate and off-putting. Meanwhile Roman "knows" that there's something wrong with him and he's worthless, so he doesn't get sucked into the trap of trying to force people to see his idea of himself and instead molds himself into whatever he thinks the other person wants from him because that's the only way he can compensate for "being him," which works very well in the short term but also means he's the least capable of maintaining any relationship for very long because he has no sense of self.

Me realising that while we saw Pey’J get gunned down by Eden police officers while protecting other hybrids during the riot , Pey’J was never actually confirmed to have died from those bullets
Bullfrog was taken into custody before he could try helping Pey’J and Dolph was taken by Sarah into the wasteland. Meaning neither of them were there to see to Pey’J’s body, and that the two are assuming Pey’J is dead
Cody, Jade and Dolph all died because of the bombs inside their heads detonating. We also saw their bodies from the aftermath of that fact
Pey’J is the only one (besides Bullfrog) whose bomb didn’t detonate
We didn’t see what happened to Pey’J’s body
Shit

//SPOILERS FOR BIGB'S SECRET LIFE EPISODE 1 (ALSO KINDA LIKE ANALYSIS AND THEORY)
(if i make any grammar mistakes or typos, please tell me. I am very tired rn and can't be bothered to reread it) If this doesn't make any sense, I'm sorry.
Why did Grian want to team with BigB in DL so badly? They're relationship in DoubleLife was mostly based around secrets (cuz like, it was an affair), but why? Because if we look at earlier seasons, I don't think they interacted a lot. I know BigB was in Evo as well, so that means they've been friends IRL for a while. But that doesn't really constitute much in game.
If we look at Grian and BigB's thumbnails, they both have the secret keeper. While Cleo and Pearl also have it as their's, it's different, they're looking AWAY from the secret keeper. It's not the main focus. It looks more like a normal thumbnail.
While Grian and BigB's is different. The secret keeper is the main focus.
In Grian's, he IS the secret keeper.
In BigB's, he is looking STRAIGHT AT IT.
Obviously the everything about BigB's task was different. The animation was Red and Black (Grian's Color Scheme) and it wasnt interaction based like the others. It was to dig a big hole. Why? I don't fucking know. But what's interesting to note was him after the task. It was fucking hilarious, sure, but why? There was no reason for him to gaslight people. He was finished with the task. So why did he still keep it a secret?
I think this might be connected to grian SOMEHOW?
BigB was looking straight at the Secret Keeper, while Grian was the secret keeper. Coincidence? I THINK NOT! I think this is connected to the secret relationship they had in DoubleLife.
Also interesting note: BigB was playing ominous music whenever he was at the secret keeper. So yeah, he def has SOME KIND of connection with it.
Check out this person's tweet aswell, cuz they made me notice the task being grian colors.
