I said Blue Canvas of Youthful Days was going to be good and I was right! As usual, I'm in love with the side cp already.

Tan Yin is going to have a rough time because Mingyang literally sees him as his dead younger brother. He's going to have to suffer for his love.

When Tan Yin is scared, he immediately calls Mingyang. Mingyang is there for him, comforting, and calming him down. ❤️

This looks like a proposal, except with a hearing aid instead of a ring. I have to think that this scene was intentionally shot this way. For Tan Yin, a hearing aid from Mingyang is more precious than any ring.

So sensual and heartbreaking at the same time. Tan Yin is mesmerized by Mingyang's voice and his hand on Mingyan's adam's apple, while Mingyang wants to hear Tan Yin call him gege because he sees him as his dead brother.

He's so cute hugging his gift box, wishing it was Mingyang hehehe.

OUCH. Tan Yin drawing up the courage to confess, only to be indirectly rejected hurts. It's going to take a lot of work to get over the brother hurdle. Sigh.

After side stepping Tan Yin's confession, Mingyang takes Tan Yin on a date... ??? He needs to stop being so nice to Tan Yin. This is too many mixed signals for our cutie. The gif doesn't do this scene justice. It's so playful and cute. I love the last part where Mingyang tells Tan Yin to blow bubbles like a fish, and Tan Yin brushes him off, but then does the blub blub blub sound and Mingyang finds it so adorable.

It's heartbreaking that both Tan Yin and Mingyang share a similar past with being rejected by their family for being gay. I like that this scene explicitly establishes that Tan Yin and Mingyang are gay. They've liked other men. No gay for you here.

These two are going to be the death of me. I love them so much.

If you were ever given the opportunity, would you want to move to webtoon originals?

Honestly, proooooobably not? But that's based 100% on my own goals and circumstances more than anything else! I genuinely love making comics, but I don't think I would ever actually want it to be my job, both because I don't think I physically would have what it takes and because monetizing a hobby fundamentally changes your relationship to it in a way that I don't think I'd like 😅 I also have a day job that I genuinely enjoy, so I don't need to make money from my art, which is honestly really nice and lucky!! It means I'm not bound to anyone's deadlines but my own, which is great because I can be very disjointed in my work flow behind the scenes sometimes LMAO 😂

Hypothetically moving MBNSSB specifically to Originals would also necessitate rebooting the story if it were to happen now, and I would worry having to go all the way back to the beginning would kill my momentum, because I've been plagued by that before with past projects that no one has ever seen for that very reason ahahaha 😂🥲 I would never want to rule out the possibility of something changing in the future if I ever was lucky enough to consider an opportunity like that!! But for now, I'm genuinely so happy with the readers I have and the comic I've made thus far, so I'm fully content with sticking to the Canvas side of things! ❤️

i have been wearing converse since 2014 i legit still have the pair i bought in jan 2014 when i was still 13 & can i just say the platform converse are VASTLY superior to the regular converse. aesthetically they are nicer AND they are more comfortable bc w regular converse you are so close to the ground. i have been more of a vans girlie for yrs now but i will prob wear the green platform converse i got just as much as i wear any of my vans they are so nice. they were really cooking w these ngl.

Man, Webtoon sucks.

How come they have this guideline

"Intellectual Property Rights: You must own all of the copyrights and other intellectual property rights to your uploads, and your User Postings must not infringe on the copyright, trademark, or publicity right of any other party, or you must have sufficient ownership or other intellectual property rights required to upload the User Postings consistent with these terms.

Yet when users, aka readers and creators alike see AI content, gacha, avatar generators (Picrew) and others being posted in Webtoon Canvas, its allowed?

Honestly it doesn't feel safe that anyone can just shove other creator's works into an AI generator, grab other people's works in general, especially when its obvious it is done without the consent nor permission of said original artists, and several of them don't even approve for its usage that way. Oh sure thing, they can't monetize from it but surely they can be within other creators, oh, they so much want artists and original content so they can later profit out of it if it matches with their brand and bring into new users on their platform but God forbid showing the least of decency to protect it from thiefs, plagiarists and more.

The more they fill Webtoon and other platforms with AI and other stolen, plagiarized or traced content (And even worse, developing their own engines with our data), the more artists will simply walk away. It is happening with Meta, everywhere they want to implement or allow AI, artists will complain, authors will complain, writers will complain. We are all complaining at the moment, and honestly, this makes me want to start telling my friends and other creators to leave Webtoon because they keep on adding to their list of constant direspect towards Creatives.

This issue happened with the Webtoon LATAM staff when I reported an AI generated series. I foound out about it because its "author" was sharing it in a facebook group, guess how that post was going? AWFULLY, every artist suggesting the person to switch to writing a Novel, hire an artist or draw the comic themselves, especially if they even want to see some kind of income for their so called "Great novel of 20 volumes that has been on the work for more than a decade"
