If this isn’t a fairy tale cottage, I don’t know what is. It’s in Jefferson, New York and is located in the Catskill Mountains, which are known for being enchanted. It was built in 2010 and is listed for $1.975M.
The cottage is adorable- it has beautiful whimsically carved wood features.
The ends of the stairs are owl eyes.
There’s also an owl theme on the beams.
Here’s a turtle. So, this is super cozy and enchanted, but it’s not the only house on the property, which is a whopping 171 acres.
At the entrance to the property is the original farmhouse, which has been completely updated inside.
Isn’t the farmhouse elegant?
And, check this out- a secret room behind the bookshelves.
Beautiful powder room.
Cute compact kitchen.
Look at the beautiful bedroom upstairs that opens to a terrace.
Beautiful bath.
Bright, cheery yellow finished basement.
Then, there’s also this little house w/a mansard roof, on the property.
Plus this building that can be used as a catering venue.
Plus, the original barn.
But, that’s not all- there’s still another house, all renovated. And, it’s big, too, w/a finished basement.
What an insanely gorgeous property- you could have your own mini-town here.

Nine year old me hand feeding some deer without a care in the world.
This was at the Old Catskill Game Farm in Catskill, NY. They had all sorts of animals who would roam around that you could meet and learn about. Me and my sister (pink shirt) always had fun here. Photo credit to mom of course.
