To be honest, it's funny how we all joke about Alicent n Daemon's affair in the book, but it's strikingly accurate to imagine that if they had actually had a child, it would be exactly what Aemond is. Chaotic, messy, stubborn, bold – exhibiting these the full Targaryen demeanor from Daemon, while simultaneously embodying traits of deep silence, depression, and daddy issues of Alicent.

He would likely grapple with a mixture of sadness, envy, and resentment towards their traumatic upbringing, mirroring Alicent's experiences. Additionally, he would likely inherit the lush hair genes from both Daemon and Alicent.😹Furthermore, he would struggle with a sense of duty and guilt just like his mother, only to ultimately fuck it up when father's genes starts showing up.

Also it would be cool to consider how coincidental it is that Vhagar is so closely connected to Daemon. It was ridden by his father, then his wife, and ultimately by Aemond, who could have been his son😅(imagination)

That's why I would have loved Lucemond, because Rhaenyra and Harwin's daughter would likely be a combination of beauty, kindness, bravery, flirtatiousness, fun-loving nature, restlessness, and mischievousness from her both Mom and Dad – perhaps even displaying affection for her uncle (obviously!)😅. This portrayal aligns with both her parents' traits. It makes sense given Daemon and Alicent's obsession with Rhaenyra and potentially extending to Aemond's obsession towards her 😂❤️. Imagine the chaotic family dinner somehow ends with Lucemond hooking up and Luke gets pregnant, but its a cryptic pregnancy so he shows absolutely no symptoms or signs, flat stomach and all.

He goes into Labor one day during training and everyone including him is just like “tf 😧”

maybe Jace is being hard on him but as soon as his brother falls to the floor in pain he’s the main person freaking out. Yelling at their instructor to get a damn maester.

Luke is crowning when he has no choice but to fess up to his night with Aemond. Crying in Rhaenyra’s arms because he drank the tea and all but somehow this still happened.

Que Luke begging his parents to not take away his son/daughter whose the picture of old Valyria with silver hair and purple eyes. Corlys is at the bedside assuring Luke that he won’t allow anyone be a grandfather to this beautiful child but him.

So they all go with the next best plan.

Tell everyone it was immaculate conception.

The whole realm believes it because how else would you explain this babe popping up out of nowhere one day? The prince was seen publicly by so many people throughout the months, someone would’ve seen the boy sporting a bump.

Even Alicent falls to her knees cause her mind implodes at mere thought that the bastard was blessed by the gods themselves.

Imagine AU where Lucerys and Aemond are the only surviving Targaryens. Aemond is the King and Lucerys is his Queen (or King consort, it doesn't matter)

Lucerys seems to be constantly disconnected from reality and doesn't listen or look at people around. The king desperately tries to give his husband gifts, expensive jewelry and sincerely doesn't understand how to help. He apologized every day, but Lucerys doesn't hear him.

Aemond doesn't know that Lucerys sees the ghosts of his dead family every single day. They hunt him. They're always with him. They always watch on him and the Queen is slowly falling to madness.

What do you think about it??

The idea that comes to my mind reading this prompt is psychological terror, Lucerys doesn't really see his family, everything is a product of his imagination or part of a curse that someone could have put on him. But those "ghosts" are NOT his family.

So, I feel that in the end there could be two options: 1. Lucerys ends up killing himself. or 2. Aemond manages to save his husband from madness.

Their relationship is less chaotic than in the Main Timeline because they have less drama/history together, but it’s definitely still chaotic to a degree.

I imagine Aemond was initially nudged by Otto (who ships Lucemond in this verse because he’s worried about the Velaryons having all those dragons). Aemond obliged because a) it would be nice to marry the heiress to Driftmark, b) a Valyrian dragonriding bride is always great in his opinion, and c) she cute.

And then Luce probably said something incendiary like “omigod not another suitor, go away, I have other guys I’m already dealing with.” And Aemond took that personally.

I have been debating doing snippets of other characters’ POVs of the Lavender fic. I might add it as an epilogue/appendix at the end.

Hi! Saw your post about asking for prompts and ho boy have I got one for you. It’s JaceLuke if that’s okay? So this is an AU where Jace survives the war and king!Aemond sends him to the wall. After spending months in captivity and forced into a marriage, Luke decides to escape and make the journey north to castle black where he and his brother have a reunion a la Jon and Sansa (I need this hug but with JaceLuke). With Cregan aiding them they go beyond the wall. Meanwhile Aemond has become obsessed with finding them. He names Jaeheara as his heir before draining every resource of the crown to move his army towards the wall. These sourthern knights have never known the true cold of the north and many die or become deserters. When Vhagar refuses to cross the wall Aemond continues on foot. The whole realm prays the mad king will meet his end.

But it seems the gods smile upon him because he finds his nephews among a group of wildlings. He proclaims he is there to retrieve what is his and will claim Jace’s head (never mind the fact that Aemond is weak from the journey while Jace is grown and hardened in only ways the north can make a man. In the end it is Luke who pierces an arrow through Aemond’s eye. And when the two return to Kings Landing, it is Lucerys who crowns his brother with Aegon and Viserys cheering by their side. I basically came up with this idea because I thought Jace would look pretty in wildling furs and then that lead me down the rabbit hole of giving lucemond Ramsey-Sansa vibes. I got ten more just like this (~˘▾˘)~

Uncle Aemond was an omega. An omega that wanted to live a life as a beta, unmated and in solitude. Much like Helaena would have wanted. Aemond being an omega had created an obsession in Lucerys. He wanted him, he always did to begin with. Jacaerys always wanted Aegon, but it wasn’t ideal. Their uncle wasn’t diplomatic enough to carry the duties of king consort of Rhaenyra’s heir. They all agreed on it when Aegon took a liking to the liquors and the realm’s festivities. They paired him up with Lucerys to try and rectify him. Jace didn’t give a fuck. Neither did Luke. They shook on it.

hey! I was just re-reading quality time and was again left speechless in awe and horror. And I just keep wondering so I might as well just ask. You're free to not answer ofc. Is there any chance of luke and aemond meeting again? Like.. just seeing each other or will their families do anything to keep them apart now that all that shit has happened? In the fic aemond mentions the family reunions but will rhaenyra or alicent allow that to happen? Like will they invite aemond? That would be awkward lol and I'd love to be a fly on the wall if such an event comes to pass 👀 also I feel like now that luke has been through the things aemond has forced him to, he's now more liable to be attracted towards aemond. I mean who else will understand him or know what it's like to be through such an experience. Now they are linked in such an intrinsic way that it'll be very difficult to stay away.

I always imagined it to be like.... maybe after a year or two luke will be healed enough to maybe send aemond a letter and they talk and maybe tentatively luke agrees to call him after a few months and aemond is also at a RELATIVELY better place (he's had some time to think his actions through) and maybe when aemond gets out early Luke's the only one he tells in hopes they could meet and whether luke will show up or not that is up to him.

hey!! i'm actually planning to release a little piece about luke meeting aemond after he gets out of prison, as part of my wasp au epilogues! i don't want to spoil anything, but i will tell you that family reunions are absolutely chaotic after aemond gets out. jace is giving aemond a death glare across the table, alicent won't talk to luke, rhaenyra keeps bringing it up like, "oh, is the food better here than in prison, aemond?" aemond wore a tank top to show off his knife scar. luke wants everyone to stop staring at him. viserys just wants everyone to make it through dinner.

one thing i do think is no matter what, their fates are linked. aemond made sure of that when they killed hugh and ulf together. they have a secret– they know something about the other that's too shameful and wonderful to ever tell anyone else. but it's isolating, and only time will tell whether they pretend to be normal or lose control altogether.

I have so many Thoughts!

There's a few fics I've read for Lucemond that go into or vaguely hint at a blood bond being formed on Driftmark. I absolutely love the idea that they've accidentally initiated a Valyrian wedding. Partially for the Lucemond feels, partially for the chaos this would cause.

I want Viserys to suffer the headache of having *both* Rhaenyra and Alicent furious about the same thing while he's literally unable to do anything. Feel helpless Viserys. Feel it~

But here's the greatest Thought to come from all this, in my opinion: if Valyrian weddings require blood - specifically sharing it - would this not imply that they originate in some sort of battle/conflict? Did... did dragonlords have to prove their mettle to their betrothed in some manner? Could such a... tradition, steeped in magic, not lead to certain *scuffles* creating a Valyrian betrothal?

We know that the *wedding* requires blood... who's to say a *betrothal* doesn't include some sort of physical altercation?

Like the one between Jace and Aegon in the training yard, when Aegon sort of *loses it* for a moment... Boom! Dragonblood activated, magic betrothal. Now they're stuck with one another a la Vala/Daniel in Stargate. Jace passes out halfway to Dragonstone and Aegon does the same in King's Landing. Viserys recognizes what's happened and since Rhaenyra is there when news of Lyonel dying reaches the capitol, he names her Hand. Sucks for you Otto.

Given that Viserys can only have so many good ideas at a time, he does not know how to break the betrothal between Jace and Aegon (and he lowkey doesn't want to because it's forcing the family to spend time together). No betrothal for Helaena (for now). Aegon drunkenly stumbles into Jace's room at Laena's funeral so his cousins don't wake him up. Mostly cause he's already awake and trying to get Aegon to stop stealing his blankets.

When Aemond loses his eye, they all realize that another betrothal has occured. They just don't know who with... Boom! Rhaena/Luke/Aemond/Baela established. Viserys is slightly more motivated to look for a solution for them, mostly because Daemon is now causing chaos in the capitol and the quartet have become an absolute terror in the castle (mostly for Jace and Aegon, because they're easy targets).

At some point, some lord tries to come for Helaena's hand. Aemond and Baela are not about that life. Boom! Rhaena/Luke/Aemond/Helaena/Baela. Parts of their polycule are more queerplatonic than romantic, but literally no one but them knows that/can tell.

Eventually, Viserys dies and someone suggests sending the Queen Dowager to Oldtown. Rhaenyra hates this idea, but acquiesces because Alicent wants to see Daeron anyway. Queen Rhaenyra passes out during a Small Council meeting a few hours after Alicent's departure and Daemon (who is on the council) starts laughing immediately. Rhaenys (who is Hand) has the awkward job of explaining to the Small Council that Alicent tried to stab Rhaenyra in Driftmark a few years back.

"You're betrothed to your father's widow." "Well, he married my best friend, turn about is fair play."

Rhaenyra takes Alicent to Oldtown to collect Daeron with Syrax. They have a Valyrian wedding in the sept. Laenor is very excited to have a co-consort. He and Alicent *plot* to incorporate Daemon eventually. Again. Their polycule is at least half platonic, but no one at court can figure out which half. Qarl knows. Qarl is in on it. Qarl is laughing at you Lord Lannister.

"You married my sister and my wife." "You married my niece and my sister-in-law." "Fair point."

Somewhere in there Cole has a mini-redemption arc and becomes less of a dick. He's still a jerk, but he doesn't take it out on any of the kids. Partially because he has a soft spot for Alicent's already and they all come as a package now anyway.

So yeah, there's a fic I'll never write.

Oof, I’m gonna give you guys TMI, my nana passed away this August, on a Sunday evening. So two weeks after that, on a Sunday, thick in the throes of my grief, I sat down and wrote The Monster In Her Mind. Seven hours and almost ten thousand words, it’s the most cathartic experience I’ve ever had. (Sorry Elena baby ❤️)

Oh God, okay, this is very difficult! There’s literally so many! But I’m gonna pick this one from I See You (From The Shadows).

(She’s learnt a long time ago that pursed lips, and downturned eyes garner far more sympathy than a sharp tongue.) It’s in the faces of all the men who love her and hate Katherine - believing Elena to be toothless, to think that because her teeth aren’t fangs, she won’t sink them in their throats and possess them. It’s the first mistake they make, she thinks, trusting her soft demeanour as they ignore the knifes she’s sharpened her nails into. They’re all so wrapped up in the beauty, they don’t realise how dangerous high school girls really are.

That I’m somewhat good at it 🥴 I had a writers block till 2021, of almost six years, and I was convinced that I was a terrible writer and that I’d never be able to write again. I’ve honestly put in a lot of effort to improve my writing and trust my gut and I hope I can continue evolving. I’ve had big, big help from @sevensistersofsussex @qvnthesia @amandamonroe @feralcherry @jennifersminds (honestly the biggest reason my writing is more poetic now is cause I read her works!) @kaizsche.

ok truth be told I'm not that big of a jaceluke fan (jacegon and lucemond my beloveds) BUT I am here for the drama so I must ask; in FMN luke, as far as he knows, mostly felt attracted to aemond because he thought he looked hot and aemond just counted is blessings and ran w it. So how would their dynamics have turned out if luke had his lil lust at first sight towards jace instead??

like he sees aemond and thinks "meh my lawyer's son is kinda mid" buts meets jace and goes "DAMN. Stepbrother?!? More like plz step on me." [in the background: the twins cackling as the hightower boys fall to their knees]

Though as the reader we know part of Luke’s attraction towards Aemond is because of their past, on the surface the only reason he’s going for Aemond is because he has that hot douche bag thing going on. Had he seen seen a picture of Jace first with those curls, dark green eyes and pouty lips? Yea, he would’ve been all over that without a doubt. Aemond’s fr lucky that Alicent decided to show Luke that pic of him holding Nugget when she did.

In this AU things are 10x more chaotic because not only is it obvious Luke is trying to fuck Jace, but more of the family are aware of this little tryst because they’re paying more attention to they way these long lost brothers are acting with one another and Luke isn’t acting very brotherly (at least in the non-Targaryen way.)

Jace is shocked at first, but once the initial surprise wears off he finds himself happily reciprocating. As i’ve said before Jace’s love for Luke exceeds all bounds and he’d be anything to him including a lover. However he refuses to even think about going down the more sexual side of things because even though this Luke wants to jump his bones, he would never want the Luke he remembers to feel as though he’d been taken advantage of.

Its also easier for Jace to stop himself from going too far (unlike Aemond) because he and Luke don’t have the tension Lucemond does. Though he thinks his brother is beautiful, its Aemond who’s been dealing with a two thousand year long burning passion.

Joffrey reaction to Jaceluke is basically ‘as long as y’all don’t make out in front of me, idc.’ It actually makes him feel more secure in Luke’s presence. As though Luke being with Jace means he’ll never wanna leave them.

Rhaenyra and Harwin are more surprised than upset but overall accepting. Though its so alien to see them being full-on romantic with each other. Daemon on the other hand is just smirking because he knows Aemond is sick to his stomach and burning in envy. Seeing the guy suffer as Luke sits on Jace’s lap is 10x more satisfying than sticking his sword through his eye.

While Jaceluke is doing their thing it’s safe to say both Aegon and Aemond are shaking, crying and throwing up. I’m talking in distress 24/7 and thinking about ending it all. It’s so bad they end up flocking to reddit in hopes of finding advice on how to break a couple up but only get laughed out of every subreddit and called delusional weirdo’s before deleting their accounts because the cyber bullying got too bad.

Aemond almost jumps out of Alicent’s car straight into the busy intersection when she comments about how cute the two boys look together.

Aegon tries to convince Aemond that they should call the cops because fucking your foster brother is against so many system rules but then Aemond has to literally slap him because that would mean Luke getting taken away.

They’re just two sad bro’s trying to figure out how to ruin Jaceluke.
