summary: after having a stressful day, all you need is your boyfriend but he's mid stream. however he doesn't hesitate to end it when he sees you upset.

a/n: quickly wrote this after having a shitty week, desperately needing matt's comfort</3 (2nd fanfic! hope u guys enjoy, sorry if it's not the best i didn't really proof read)! 💐

you gently knocked on matt’s door, hearing his muffled yells through the door as he was mid stream. you felt terrible for interrupting, but you needed him. “come in!” matt answered yelling through the door. you slowly opened the door and stood in the doorway as matt took a quick glance over, realising it’s you before muting himself on the stream and taking one side of his headphones off.

“hey sweetheart!” matt smiled happy to see you, however his smile faltered as he saw the upset look on your face. “hey- hey- what’s wrong baby-” he asked, returning the upset look. you just shook your head, looking at the floor unable to explain as tears threatened to spill from your eyes. matt’s eyebrows furrowed as he observed you for a second before turning back to the stream. 

“hey guys, i’m gonna head off now. got some stuff to do, thank you all for joining- i’ll stream possibly tomorrow but i’ll keep ya’ll updated. cya!” matt spoke softly, as he unmuted the stream and ended it as quickly as possible.

 after he ended the stream, he immediately slid his chair back and patted his lap, motioning for you to come and sit. you smiled slightly at the motion as you straddled his lap, curling up as much as you could as he wrapped his arms around you securely. kissing your head as you rested your head on his shoulder, tears beginning to slowly fall onto his brown ‘fresh love’ hoodie.

“i’ve got you sweetheart.. it’s okay.. let it all out-” matt whispered as he began to slowly stroke the back of your head, attempting to calm you down. occasionally placing kisses upon your temple as he spoke about his stream, trying to keep you distracted from your thoughts. after he felt your breathing slow back down, he leant you back slightly so he could see your face. his gaze softened as he started wiping away your tears and smudged mascara. “i love you so much, please always remember that- and remember that no matter the circumstance, you can always come to me.”

you nod at his words, sniffling as he continues to softly wipe at your face. he’s always just so gentle and understanding when you come to him upset, always knowing how to comfort you. “i love you so much too and i’m sorry i interrupted your stream-”

“there’s no need to apologise baby, you always come first. you’re my top priority.” matt whispers, slightly cutting you off as he gently swipes your hair behind your ear, placing a kiss on your forehead, nose and finally your lips. you smile as he places the kisses on your face, feeling a lot better now that you’re in his arms. “do you want to talk about it-?” he asks as his hand cups your cheek.

“just a shitty day- things just kept going wrong- and it just stressed me out- it sounds stupid-” you say as you continue to ramble about the events of your day. matt just sits there listening intently to every word, now holding one of your hands and rubbing it gently with his thumb. after your little ramble you sigh and rub your face with your free hand.

“i’m sorry you’ve not had the best day, sweetheart. but just remember, you get a fresh start tomorrow.” he replies, kissing your forehead again. “is there anything you need right now? or just cuddles?”

“just cuddles.. can we move to the bed?” you whisper, desperately wanting to lay down. matt nods as you climb off his lap and into the bed, following behind. as soon as you were both laid down, he pulled the covers up and pulled you closer in his arms. you smiled contently as you began to slowly drift off to sleep in the comfort of your boyfriend's arms, feeling so much better now that he’s with you.

yo! tysm!!! Im glad so many people are enjoying the silly lil xover TToTT I actually have a small handful, mainly Jimmy & a bit of Aviva. Though im still refining them & thinking about Koki. A friend suggest earth pon for her so I'll probably go that route? Bonus points for making the cast more balanced hmmhmmm Ive also started working on the villains today >:)) mainly Gormound for rn since him being a harpy eagle griffon has had a death grip on me LMFAO! Fun fact, hes the first non-pony ive ever drawn for a pony au! so good for him, good for him For the others; Zach will likely end up being a unicorn. An absolute twig. Bro has magic but hes still pathetic. The brothers could throw him ez. Donita and Paisley (is that her name???), im not 100% sure? But Im leaning unicorn for Donita for obvious reasons

We have recurring characters and minor recurring characters reaction to Bobby dying, but we don't have a reaction on screen from Eddie? One of the main characters is not there and does not even get a 20 sec on screen reaction of another Main character dying?

So we’re getting a Chris has turned to shoplifting for attention (cry for help) arc aren’t we?!

That Helena thinks she’s being a good ‘parent’ and helping him bully giving him freedom and all these distractions like a pool etc but not actually giving him what he needs - therapy and to actually deal with his trauma and pain and she’s probably making it worse by basically placing herself as a good ‘mother’ to him - when the loss of Shannon and seeing Kim is what is central to his pain - she is disconnected from reality and what Chris needs.

So he’s maybe using chess club as a front in the same way science club was when he was sneaking to the park with his friends when he’s hanging out with these friends who aren’t actually friends - they’re a bad crowd - but they’re giving Chris attention and an actual distraction from his trauma. Which winds up with him shop lifting and getting caught - and he is in shop jail and calls Eddie for help rather than Helena or Ramon (or Eddie is there in some other capacity like he’s ended up as mall security or something!!).

Which leads to an Eddie and Chris conversation and also to Eddie asking Buck for help/advice via FaceTime - setting up coparenting buddie - which is a low key set up for Eddie’s feelings arc down the line a bit. It also leads to an Eddie and Helena conversation and a few home truths being dealt with - (eddie feeling invisible!) Eddie is then in a place to process and move through his grief and on with his life - which leads to resolution with Chris and ultimately also with Helena (because this is 911 and she is meant to be a representation of his mind so forgiving her is Eddie forgiving himself!) before a return to LA!!
