How Time Flies

Is it actually possible to feel your heart breaking? Feel it shutting down? Decaying? Becoming nothing but space.

Where you’re surrounded in emptiness yet your heartstrings are reaching out into that darkness, and there's nothing to grab on to.... Maybe another person. Her?

If so, then my heart is breaking.

And the one person I thought who was supposed to put it back together is as useless to me as thinking we were actually something real.

The Maze of Life

Some things you’ll need to know in life, 

Aren’t as important as the things you’ll learn along the way.

It’s like a maze, 

You are born at the start,

And taken down these winding paths that never seem to end.

It’s not as easy as those before you made it seem.

There is great anxiety hanging, searching

Still stuck in this maze, pleading for a way out.

Like it’s just a part of you, sucks the life out of you.
