They are now ready and set, suited and booted, to head up into that big old mysterious blanket above and see what's good. Perhaps they will bring y'all a souvenir.

Sending good luck and love to all students starting their school year!

If you are in your final year know I am so proud of you for all of your hard work and progress and I know you can get through this semester, just remember to take good care of yourself!

If you’re somewhere in the middle know that this stretch may feel super long but it’ll be over before you know it. Keep putting in the work and enjoy everything you can! You will do amazing!

If you’re a freshman/year one I know you get a lot of judgement but I am truly so excited for you and I wish you the best luck on your new experience. Don’t be afraid to explore and ask for help. Remember that this is just the beginning, you have time to learn.

To all students remember to be kind to yourself. You are more than a grade or a score, and you have what it takes to succeed. As long as you move forward with love and patience you will get where you need to go through any twists and turns.

Something I think is so important to acknowledge with the Columbia university protests is that these students were the class of 2020

the seniors, passing up on their college graduation, where once high schoolers denied their prom & graduation due to a global pandemic that the American government scoffed at.

They are not children protesting a war they "don't understand", these are students at one of the most prestigious academic institutions in the world, they are well educated young adults looking back at the milestones that have been taken from them and willingly letting go of their second chance, because that is how strongly they believe in this cause

sorry I’ve been absent im kinda…graduating…in two days

Here’s my grad cap design!

this year was a mess both mentally and emotionally for me personally (and also because my school schedule was disorganized asf). there was also me taking two AP courses for the first time so that was fun. Music was basically my coping mechanism this year so i wanted to dedicate it to @vyl3tpwny ! A lot of their songs made me reevaluate myself, inspired like most of my AP art portfolio, and overall made me feel less alone and scared about the world! I may not like the person I am now but it’s never too late for a step in the right direction!

I wanted to share my HS graduation cap! I made it the day of my graduation with some dollar store supplies lol

I really wanted to do @danielhowell 's quote cuz I like it a lot, I'm not one for positive quotes or many positive things, but honestly that quote fits my HS years (covid, parent's divorce, mental health crises), and right after too ironically (break up, restraining order, starting uni)

But I'm finally on a better path now and (sorta) getting the help I need

I've been watching d&p since middle school and honestly being able to just shut off my brain and not think of all my responsablitlites for like 20 minutes while I watch 2 grown men the same age as my mom play video games horribly really does help. in it's own little way

so, thank you Dan and Phil

Finally finished decorating my graduation cap! Steven Universe has been the fandom that’s had a chokehold on me since 8th grade, so it made sense to make my cap Spinel-themed haha

Graduating college tomorrow and I thought I’d decorate my cap to say @danielhowell’s famous quote from his “We’re All Doomed” tour. His and @amazingphil’s videos really got me though these last two semesters of college and his quote has helped me reflect on how I will move going forward in life and what it has in store for me!
