With all the traveling Buck did, and the amount of bad luck he also has, can you imagine Buck just all of a sudden appearing in a lot of documentaries? Like surviving a wildfire, that time I saved my co-worker from being eaten by his cannibal date, being a witness to a crime, being caught in a massive tornado, and nearly flying out of his friend's car window. His small plane, while traveling in Peru, crashed, and he survived that. Just a bunch of crazy fucking shit.
So, the 118 is just sitting there, catching up on some news, when a TikTok video goes viral, which makes the news on TV. Someone had compiled a video of all Buck's interview segments, and the caption is like ???? Is this dude ok?? Or is this an actor??? And one of the top comments says that he was also in a Tsunami and saved a lot of people, including said commenter. The other top comment states that he has also been struck by lightning and survived.
Everyone just turns to Buck, who's in the kitchen shoveling food into his mouth, and blinks when he sees everyone staring at him in horror like ????
"Oh, shit, those finally came out?" he says as he spots a documentary he was on, helping a friend.
"What do you mean finally came out?" Eddie asks incredulously.
"Uhh, I remember helping friends with retelling events for documentaries and stuff. It's been a while, so I wasn't sure if those had made the green light or not. It's so weird they all came out at once," Buck says. He shrugs and goes back to his food.
"Bobby, why are you looking up how to bubble a person?" Chim says as he peeks at Bobby's phone.
"He's fixing to get his own room in our new home where he'll never get to leave," Bobby mutters.
"How much do you wanna bet we're about to get raided by the press?" Ravi says as he stares at Buck in awe.

Simple Spell Bath For Cleansing & Recharging
A spell bath isn’t just a soak—it’s a ritual to realign your energy, release stagnant vibes, and invite in whatever magic you need most.
What You’ll Need:
• 1 cup sea salt or Epsom salt (cleansing)
• Dried lavender or chamomile (calming + psychic clarity)
• A few drops of rosemary or eucalyptus oil (banishing negativity)
• Moon water (if you have it—otherwise regular water with intention works)
• A white or blue candle
• Optional: crystals safe for water (amethyst, clear quartz, rose quartz)
Steps:
1. Cleanse your tub first—physically and energetically. Wipe it down, and light incense or ring a bell to clear the space.
2. Fill the bath and add your ingredients. Stir the water clockwise while focusing on your intent.
3. Light your candle and say:
“Waters cleanse and spirits rise,
I soak beneath the healing skies.
All that’s heavy now shall leave,
In this bath, I will believe.”
4. Soak for at least 15 minutes. Visualize negativity washing away and light filling your body.
5. Once done, let the water drain with thanks. You may choose to journal, rest, or pull a card afterward.
Best done during the full moon (for release), new moon (for new beginnings), or whenever you feel energetically off.

There is nothing so affirming and life saving as leaving home and being loved at face value by total strangers for who you are
#im losing track of the genuine interactions ive had since i arrived that have all just been#so loving in so many small ways#from so many people#who have no reason to be kind or loving or to return kindness when it is offered to them#and yet they return it and offer it with such genuine joy#these are the kind of things that will save your life. i truly believe that. almost moreso than the deep network of friends you build#that's important but it becomes an echo chamber if you don't step away#and remember that you exist outside of it and the world sees you for you and not what the people back home need you to be#want you to be expect you to be#and maybe even love you in entirely platonic little ways for it#i will expand more later i am attempting a minor digital cleanse while here. there will be a nola series next week once i have processed.#but oh. i just took the slightly longer route home so i could hit Frenchman in hopes of catching a second line#followed them till they looped back to chartres and made my way home#which is a room with a kitchenette and bath in a railroad just north of st claude. by the tracks.#the bars here are more scattered. neighbors dives where everyone knows everyone and their business.#and yet they've seen me going back and forth the last two nights and days and so. they greet me warmly. wish me safely home.#one auntie blesses me with her vodka soda as i pass before blessing the two men leaving the bar. everyone laughing.#ill remember iggys fondly even if i never step inside.#a block from home a gentleman on his porch singsongs a hullo to me. i do my best to parrot it back around the spliff i lit two blocks ago.#he asks to buy a cigarette off me. regretfully im smoking my last but i offer my vape if hes open to weed. its shameful and i crack a joke#something about kids these days but it seems easy. like neighbors chuckling at midnight passing smokes over porch railings.#we talked briefly as i showed him how to use the vape. about our dinners. the storm coming in. legalization.#he asked me if i needed anything in turn. the conversation was plenty i told him. which sounds cliche and someone will say this is fiction.#but it doesnt need to be fiction to be a story about a simple moment of connection and love. i could list a dozen stories like this here.

One of the best spiritual baths is ocean water, but if you don't have access to the ocean, sea salt is the next best thing! I used Sea Salt at the beginning of September to prep my home with freshly cleansed crystals to handle shifts and energies brought on by Fall 2024

Cleansing/Protection/Prosperity tripple action bath:
- Angelica root - block busting, cleansing, protection, blessing
-Peppermint - cleansing, prosperity, protection, psychic empowerment
- Bay leaves (3) - Victory, prosperity
- Basil (3) - Cleansing, uncrossing
- Baking Soda - Block busting, cleansing, protection
- Orange Peel - Attraction/prosperity
- Appropriate prayers/petitions/psalms
Instructions:
Light insence and pray over each individual ingredient for the above aspects, repeating the prayers/petitions at least 3 times over each ingredient before moving to the next. Add each ingredient into a pot of water and heat it up over the stove. Say more prayers/petitions, or pray a psalm over the mixture repeatedly. Ask that the heat from the stove heat up the work and continue to pray over it. Let it come to a boil and boil for 10 minutes, then strain out the solids. (You could also put them into a cheesecloth or reusable tea bag if you have that on hand.)
Let it cool to room temp
You can either use it all at once, or portion it for however many days you want to do the working for. The more days you do this for, the more powerful the working typically, as repetition compounds the effects
For the actual bath, you can either add it to a tub full of water, or you can take a shower and at the end of the shower pour it over your head. Either way, you need to be praying for it to cleanse you and strip away any blocks, any negative energies that are stuck to you, any unwanted energies. Then pray for protection from said energies and protection from any baneful or malefic magic that may be thrown your way in the near future, and finally pray for prosperity, wealth, blessings, and abundance. Also pray any psalms that you are drawn to that would work for this purpose
I hope this one gets circulated honestly, I don't think there's a lot of people that realize that a spell/working can have more than one purpose baked into it. I hope this one helps some people, too. More than that, this bath could also be used in your mop water or on your doors as well

🪶 Miranda Wright presents:A love letter. A glitch. A soft undoing
🖤 The water remembers 🖤
Tumblr media
Steam curls around the room, thick with intention. The air is heavy with salt and smoke, herbs steeped in water like whispered spells sinking into skin. A candle flickers against the porcelain, its flame dancing as if it knows. As if it’s listening.
She sinks deeper, breath slow, limbs weightless, letting the warmth leech the past from her bones. The ghosts of old lovers, old lives, old selves swirl in the water before dissolving into nothing.
Tonight, she is unmaking.
She traces symbols on her skin, silent promises pressed into the soft heat of her pulse. A hand dips into the water, lifting droplets to her lips, tasting the shift. A new thread of fate, woven in the quiet between heartbeats.
By the time the wax burns low, the water is different.
And so is she
🪶 The spell was never written 🪶 🪶 It was drawn in steam and sealed in skin 🪶

The Banishing Bath - a good way to start your spring cleaning!
Was 2023 been especially hard for you? Do you suspect someone has done some sort of magickal working against you? Do you just feel an overwhelming sense of negative energy all around you? Do you feel down and gloomy or upset for no reason? We all do from time to time. Here is your first line of defense: the Banishing Bath.
If you don’t live in the Chicago area and don’t have access to our Banishing Bath Salts, you can do this with regular salt. (You’ll need about a handful.) Here’s how to proceed.
Begin by cleaning your tub; you’re doing a spell, a ritual, a working, however you want to think of it. Doing this shows respect for the process and for the deities, plus it’s a good symbolic first step when cleansing yourself.
(These instructions are written assuming your home has a bathtub-shower combo, since they are most common. If you don’t have a bathtub, you can mix the bath salts in a bucket of water and use that to wash yourself before rinsing in the shower. If you don’t have a shower, you can bathe as described, then pour water over your head to rinse.)
Begin filling the bathtub, using whatever temperature water you prefer. Add your handful of salt. ( You may wish to stir the water with your hand as the tub fills, to be sure the salt dissolves completely and is evenly distributed.) While preparing your bath, you may wish to enhance the atmosphere of the room. If lighting a candle, burning some incense, or playing meditative/drumming/chanting music helps you get into a more magickal mood, feel free to do so. (Also remember to silence your phone and leave it in another room, so you won’t be disturbed.)
When the tub is full, turn off the water and get in. At this point, you don’t need any soap yet, you’re just washing yourself with the salt water. You can use your hands, or a washcloth if you prefer. If you have trouble bending or reaching, you might want to use a bath brush or loofah.
Wash yourself all over; as The Boss says, ‘Cracks, crevices, bottom of your feet.’ (You wash your feet in case you’ve walked through something negative without realizing it.) Be sure to keep your eyes closed while washing your face and hair, as the salt in the water could sting. While washing, state your intention with a prayer. Pray to whatever deity you normally pray to. We have a suggested prayer we recommend:
There is nothing within me that is not in line with my general well-being and happiness, or that can harm me by thought, word or deed.’ (End with Amen, So Mote It Be, whatever you like.)
If you have another prayer you prefer which conveys the same meaning, by all means use it. If you think you’ll have trouble remembering the prayer, it can be written out and taped to the wall of the tub.
As you wash each part of your body, imagine anything negative that shouldn’t be in you oozing out through the pores in your skin, like drops of black goo, like sweat on a very hot day. Don’t worry about where the negativity came from. It could have come from someone else, you could have put it there yourself through worry, you could have even picked it up accidentally by just being in the wrong place at the wrong time. It doesn’t matter; just imagine it all oozing out of you.
There is no set amount of time this could take. We won’t tell you, ‘sit in the bath for seven minutes,’ or anything similar. Just take as long as you need, keep washing until you feel you’ve pulled out everything (all the negativity) you can. If you find yourself getting emotional or upset during your bath, don’t worry, this happens sometimes and is a normal side effect.
When you feel ready – when you feel you’ve removed all you can – stand up and drain the tub. Turn on the shower and rinse yourself, imagining all the black drops of negative energy rinsing off of you, flowing down the drain, back into the earth, out of your life. When you’re done rinsing, proceed with your normal shower or bath.
As a rule, a banishing bath should be done once a week, on the same day. Planning the bath for the same day each week will help you remember to do it, and make it feel more like a ritual, like something special.
This is a harsh world, friends. We all feel negativity building up around us from time to time. It’s hard to avoid sometimes. Taking a Banishing Bath on a regular basis can help you deal with all that bad energy that surrounds us all like city smog. It’s a simple thing with powerful results. It’s a good way to fight back against all that negative energy, and destroy it before it can destroy you.
Note: This banishing prayer can also be used when cleansing your home with sage - another thing you may want to do to prepare for the new year. In this case, you would change the wording of the prayer to this:
There is nothing here that is not in line with my/our general well-being and happiness, or that can harm me/us by thought, word or deed.’
Good Luck, and Blessings!
PS – If you happen to be visiting the Chicago area, feel free to stop in and pick up some of our Banishing Bath Salts, and check out our other cool stuff.

Does black USA people have a equivalent to "cleansing bath" (banho de descarrego — it's a religious practice prominent on black/Africans religions later on adopt by some catholic churches. It's different on different regions, but the one I know it's with coarse salt, cinnamon, rose petals and Saint George's sword)????
In fact, how it's black/Africans religions on the USA? Do you guys have religions of African origin over there?
