Extortion. Aggravated Assault. Murder.

The list went on for the royal who had it all, and lost almost everything in one night.

A well respected and charitable figure in their community, it was a shock to the masses to see local casino owner, and frequent donor to hospitals framed on the five o'clock news for misconduct. Anyone with a good head on their shoulders and a realistic outlook on the world could see straight through the facade. Beneath that mask was a monster - every good deal that person ever committed a cover for their true goals.

Those they had helped plead their innocence. Those they had wronged tied their noose. The documents leaked to the public would tell which party was correct, wiped clean from history before the victor could be declared. Read aloud in court, each word marked a new trial at play. The execution of the rat bastard who got them into this whole ordeal in the first place.

The criminal know exactly who it was. Caught his hand in the cookie jar resembling their safe weeks ago, but they had enough of a heart to let him go for being the one person his little girl had. Not again. Day in and day out they dreamt of how they'd carry out their revenge. Splattering his brains all over the wall. Slicing him into cutlets and having a nice cookout for everyone involved. It was a beautiful dream. The one thing preventing the compete lost of their sanity. Shouldn't be too long now until their people manage to get them out and their hands around that bastard's neck. Only a matter of time-

"Quit mumbling to yourself- I can't hear the TV."

As if this hell couldn't get any worse. A desaturated rainbow flies across the television screen, showering an empty field with stars and hearts that sprout colorful flowers from the earth. The theme song for the show plays in the background; the strums of each guitar string and the voice humming along to the beat drilled into the criminal's head like psychological warfare. While the voice wasn't totally abysmal it still belonged to their greatest enemy. That fucking clown.

"Good Day, everyone! I've missed you all so much, and am so excited to meet all the new faces. Are you ready all for an exciting day of fun and new adventures?"

The few shouts of agreement make their ears bleed more. Needless to say the prison they had been thrown in was a shit hole. Terrible food, hard beds, and televisions that only played one station without interference. That neon haired, colorblock mess of an entertainer had haunted them from day one of their stay; the sounds chasing them whenever they fled to the sanctuary of their cell. Pathetically, while there were a couple naysayers, majority of the prison population had begun to actually like the show. A body hurls into the seat next to them.

"Thank fuck I didn't miss it. You staying this time, Zero?"

Zero's face wrinkles from the frown lines. 4D was a fellow intimate and the biggest fan of the show. A crook booked for various robberies who just like Zero was ratted on by an acquaintance. The nickname came from their tag including the number fourty and they thought it would be cool in unison with the one they forced onto Zero.

"I told you not to call me that."

"I get that you're some big hot-shot and "adults shouldn't be watching shows for kids.", but it's really good when you sit down and watch it. That clown ain't too bad on the eyes either."

Zero resists the urge to snap their fingers as they air quote. "I'd rather flush my head down a toilet."

"Come on! If ya watch it, I'll leave ya alone for the rest of your sentence."

That catches their attention. Armz crossed, Zero looks at the television. The set had switched to that of a kitchen as the clown speaks

"Juno has been feeling better down today, let's cheer him up with his favorite snack! Before we begin, make sure you always ask for an adults help when handing sharp objects or using the stove. Unless you are one yourself. "

With a wink, they throw an apron and go through the steps of making homemade rice treats with the audience. After putting the tray in the oven, they discreetly pull out another one with a full sheet of the treats already made. Marshmallow fluff and melted chocolate chips ooze from their sides as the clown cuts out a heart shaped piece with a cookie cutter.

"And there you go! A simple, fun activity you can do with family and friends, and even get something taste out of it. Juno prefers chocolate, but you can add a number of things to your own and let your imagination run wild."

Great. Now they were annoyed and hungry. They couldn't stand another segment.

"I'm leaving."

4D whines. "Whaaat? That was barely anything. Hey, don't go-"

They grab Zero's sleeve, but are powerless to stop them as they leave the common area and venture up to their room. Over the guard rail of the second floor, they watch the other inmates mindlessly crowded around the television screen and unironically enjoying it. They would've spat at them had it not been for the guard by their cell. Inside the room, their roommate had left the tv on and that same damned show was playing. They go to turn it off only to be cut off by a fake cry of pain.

"Ouch!"

The clown tumbles to the ground, figure looming over them off screen. They come into frame as they grip the clown's arm and helps them to their feet.

"I'm so sorry, Y/n. I didn't mean to hurt you."

"It's okay, Juno. I know it wasn't on purpose."

The two face the screen as the clown speaks.

"Sometimes our friends do or say things that hurt our feelings. Take a breath, hear them out, but there's one important rule. Remember - forgiveness and friendship aren't always mutual. Sometimes people we may think are our friends go too far, and they believe an apology will make everything okay, but that's not always the case. The best thing you can do is forgive - and let go."

The background music is soft. The clown's smile is sincere, but an offshoot of that silly expression they had moments ago. Forgive. That weasel? There's no way in hell they could. He ruined them. Damaged their imagine. The bitterness Zero held was the only thing that pulled them forward. But what would come after they got their revenge?

"That's all for day, folks! And don't forget- you all may be my helpers, but I am here to help you the most!"

The intimate ends up watching the show until lights out. Each episode holds a new life lesson, cushioned by the silly activites prior to them and the songs the clown and their friends sings at the end. Regrettably, Zero finds their lips twitching upwards and a hushed laugh in their chest at some of the clown's jokes. When the clown visits them in their sleep, the dreams didn't seem as bad as before.

The next day Zero finds 4D in the yard. They're hesitant to speak.

"So... Why exactly do you like that clown?"

4D drops the equipment in their hand, looking flustered. "Wow, uh, why do you ask?"

"Just curious. If it's so embarrassing, I can make it worth while."

4D refuses the cigeratte they offer. "I quit. It ain't nothing serious like that, we just... talked."

Zero raises a brow. "Talked? You some kind of nutcase or something?"

"Maybe, but what I mean is I sent them a letter. After all the rush and freedom of the things I did, I was going mad in here. I got no friends, no family. At the end of every episode there's an address so I thought I'd try and send them a letter. I never expected them to respond. Hell, I thought the guards would tear it up and laugh, but neither of those predictions were true. They... helped me. More than anyone ever had in my life. Even sent me a couple things when I hadn't asked. They're all I have."

4D wipes their face with their sleeve. Zero, unsure, raises their hand to their shoulder, but falls short of a comforting touch.

"..Thanks... Take care."

Zero sits in their cell when the next show comes end. They pen down the address on the screen, wondering if they were really going to go through with this. They write out their letter and hand it off to the only guard they trust.

"What do you do, when you've lost everything."

A response comes in a week's time.

"Hey, there!

First off, I want to say thank you for sending your letter in. From the address and the others I've spoken too, I know that you're going through a really tough time. It's understandable to believe you've lost everything, but there will always be a new ladder to climb to the top so long as you try your hardest. You may be in the dark for now, but the sun will shine again for you some day."

Zero loses track of how many times they read the letter. They can see eraser marks from when the writer rewrote their lines. It was the exact same penmanship as when the clown wrote their name on a drawing they had just finished, clearing out the possibility of it being an assistant on the show. Zero crumples the envelope and throws it in the trash, but tucks the letter under their pillow.

When they are released the following month, they're found sitting in front of the community television.

"Sunshine's beautiful this time of day, isn't it?"

"B...oss, I'm sorry, please."

Zero takes another drag of their cigar as his head is dunked into the freezing waters. The silence makes the scenario one for the books, but for some reason the sun just isn't as bright as it was on those dirty screens. They exhale as the bruised male is brought out of the sea once more.

"I forgive you, and now I'm letting go." They wave to the others on the boat. "Drop him. I don't want to be late for the show."

Arriving at the studio, a whiny voice drills from behind them.

"Aw, man- you got front row seats? Switch with your ol pal. Its the least you can do since I introduced you to them."

Thirsty Thursday - Family Video

Eddie’s putzing around in the horror section at Family Video when the bell over the door jingles. He glances without thinking, shocked to see Robin Buckley lead Steve Harrington inside.

He’s nosy, wants to know what the hell is up with that. But he also doesn’t want to attract Keith’s attention. Eddie’s taking his time to hang in the A/C as long as possible, nearly an hour already.

Not that Buckley is capable of being quiet, so he hears plenty.

How they’re job hunting and how Robin probably knows more about film than Keith does. How Steve Fuckin’ Harrington likes Return of the Jedi! Even if he can’t remember the title and calls ewoks teddy bears. 

Color Eddie surprised.

Add in Steve’s bright, colorblocked outfit and his swoopy hair, the way he absolutely takes out the Fast Times promotional standee and hurries to fix it, resume in his mouth like an enthusiastic labrador retriever.

Embarrassingly, Eddie realizes he’s been pumping out his campfire and marshmallow scent, too charmed to lock down his sudden interest, subconsciously trying to draw in the stupidly endearing omega.

He figures he should go before he actually catches any attention, dipping around the counter and out the door, but not before he hears Buckley and Harrington get hired on the spot.

It’s easy enough for Eddie to memorize Steve’s schedule, only going to rent movies while he’s working. Sometimes he drags the guys with him, or maybe just Jeff, giving more cover to surreptitiously stare at the moles on Steve’s neck.

“You aren’t being nearly as sneaky as you think,” Jeff mutters on more than one occasion . “Just go talk to him.”

“Can’t.” Eddie keeps Jeff between himself and the counter, eyes on the slasher movies like he’s agonizing over his decision.

“Why not?”

“Cuz I’ll say something stupid like, ‘Please, sit on my face, I wanna drown in your pussy.’ That’s why,” Eddie whispers, risking a glance towards Steve.

“What? Seriously!”

“Have you seen what a mess he is now? And add in that apple pie scent—my mouth is watering and my dick is—”

“Christ! I’m sorry I asked. But I still think you should talk to him.” Jeff turns his attention to the shelf in front of them. “Nightmare on Elm Street?” he asks, reaching for the case.

“Yeah…” Then Eddie stares as Jeff brings the tape up to the counter, his best friend effortlessly making small talk and laughing as he rents the movie. Like a coward, Eddie hurries out of the video store, waiting for Jeff in his van.

When Eddie goes to return the tape the next day, he’s surprised when Steve looks at Robin and says, “I’m going on my break,” even as he accepts the tape from Eddie, their fingers brushing.

“Yeah, whatever,” Robin answers, flipping through a magazine.

Broad fingers wrap around Eddie’s wrist and drag him back to the Family Video break room past the “Employees Only” sign.

Steve smiles at him as he closes the door behind them. “Sorry. Just got tired of waiting for you to make a move.”

“What?” Eddie has never known Steve Harrington to be the kind of omega who waits for an alpha.

“You aren’t doing a very good job of controlling your scent.”

Eddie gulps, cheeks heating.

“And your friend said you were super into me, which… Yeah, definitely picked up on that.”

Nodding, Eddie waits for his tongue to untie, pretty sure he’s gonna die first when Steve steps closer, presses his hand to Eddie’s chest. “You surprised me,” he manages to say.

“Sorry about that.” Steve doesn’t look sorry at all as he leans in, sniffs at Eddie’s neck. “I’m too used to Robin, bad at personal space with pack.”

“Not what I meant—the ewoks—I mean. Shit. Wait.” Eddie closes his eyes, Steve’s scent filling his nose and making him warm. He smells safe. Familiar.

“Yes?” Steve murmurs, hand moving up to touch the skin above the collar of Eddie’s shirt.

“Not pack, what do you mean bad at personal space with pack?”

“Can tell you should be pack.” He nuzzles at Eddie’s cheek and whispers, “Want to be your pack.”

Eddie gives into his instincts then, whining and holding Steve’s face still, bringing their mouths together. He has no idea what he’s doing, but Steve clearly does as he gentles the kiss, grinning as he pulls away.

“My shift ends at seven. Meet me at my place at seven-thirty.”

Eddie nods. “Uh-huh, yep, whatever you say.”

Steve glances up at the clock. “But we’ve still got six minutes before my break ends, and you need to practice,” he teases, pulling Eddie back in for another kiss.

It was the first time Dabi had taken his shirt off, and Hawks was staring in fascination at the colorblock flesh. He didn't know why this was so different than seeing Dabi's arms, or his face and neck, but it was.

"What does it feel like?" he murmured, running a finger along the middle of the purple swath on Dabi's chest.

"Not much. Most of the sensation is gone."

"And here?" asked Hawks, switching to an unburned section.

Dabi shrugged. As though it was no big deal, Hawks seeing him like this, touching him. "Like normal."

Always so damn indifferent, Hawks thought. He wanted nothing more than to rip that disaffected mask right off Dabi's beautiful, torn-up face.

"How about right... here?" he said, deliberately scratching his nail along the seam between whole and burnt flesh.

Dabi, eyes widening in surprise, let out an involuntary gasp before snapping his jaw shut.

But it was too late.

Hawks had seen it - had heard it.

Gotcha, you fucker.

Zach Sang: very interesting right off the bat. First Freddie mention comes with Zach mentioning he is Louis’ Future when talking about what Future means to Louis. Louis is caught off guard but then quickly says “yeah, yeah the kid is the future!” then, later on, when Zach mentions he saw Louis in LA, Louis goes into asking him which night to not wait for him to answer just to say “my son was there” and to talk about this beautiful emotional moment he had with Freddie, locking eyes with him (backpedalling bc how do you do that at the YouTube theater lol it’s way too far and dark). He’s eloquent and goes into detail about how Freddie goes to bed at 7 usually. Then later on, Zach again brings up Freddie, asking if he’s part in shaping his idea of success, and again Louis is caught off guard and stumbles over his words, stuttering and rambling. It seems clear he’s confident in talking about him when he’s initiating but swimming when someone else brings it up non-planned. He also doesn’t see him in his future, keeps forgetting about him there, or with the song writing. Extremely interesting as well is that the Freddie bit is the first (only?) snippet posted to Zach‘s TikTok. He also seems to be awfully concerned about his arse tattoo being seen by new people in situations where he’s about to get frisky with them: two questions - what about eleanormegirlfriend? And in which hetero context is his arse the first thing you see when taking his clothes off for sex?

I will edit to add as we go through this promo season, but as of now, we have 29 / 91 Freddie mentions during interviews for LT2 Faith in the Future promo, all of them seem out of place if you pay close attention (why would you advertise your album with your six year old son after supposedly crying for privacy before?), and on almost every single occasion he signals through clothing / topics. I believe it wasn’t pre-discussed that the interviewer would bring up Freddie, as Louis got caught pretty off guard and wasn’t signalling with his clothes. The interviewer did say he watched a lot of recent videos and clips of him before the interview, so I guess he saw that big fat Freddie segment from Australian morning TV as his preparation for the interview.

Depending on the format, they either have predetermined talking points and provided images and visuals, like for Lorraine and RTL, where the programme focuses more on celeb gossip, or he finds ways to inject a Freddie mention into the segment himself (ladbible, radio deejay,...). LTHQ posting that snippet of the ladbible segment though is extremely telling. They are using narration points they know fans will recognise and are backed up by fan videos etc, like the LTWTLA1 show. It’s also interesting that Louis rarely mentions Freddie when fans are present like in Q&As and M&Gs.

There are a few talking points that crystallize this promo run:

They are also setting the tone for how to handle the scandal: they are putting a lot of emphasis on how positive and hopeful Louis is now, after achieving some sort of clarity during lockdown, that in the face of tragedies he just wants to focus on the positive and move on, and definitely wants NO pity - and that he seems to never get a break, when things are finally going his way, tragedies hit. Incredible set up for those couple of months between this FitF promo cycle ending early 2023 and before the tour starts - and fans will already have bought the tickets and have time to calm down. It will also allow for him to withdraw, regroup, and then carry on like he’s been saying: he will look gracious, strong and congruent to his words. No one will take it badly that he keeps on enjoying his life and success after the scandal breaks after a period of privacy. It is genius and I am so excited for this to unravel. They are really, really good.

what brushes do you use to draw?

That depends! This is the ones I use for my “standard” polished style:

Extra note: I also use a modified default Flat Brush on multiply layer to shade! UPDATE: I will not be sending the Sharp Crusty brush until I find out who made it SORRY ANON 😭

For the following doodles I use several default brushes:

1. Inka (it is in the Inking tab)

2. Tamar (it is in the Painting tab), used my Colorblock Combo brush for the soft blooms

3. Procreate Pencil (it is in the Sketching tab)

I like to experiment and fuck around with brushes so there may be more than I showed here. Feel free to ask me about the brush I use for a specific drawing in case I missed that!

I was delighted to find this lovely template on insta and wanted to make it a kind of collaborative event by asking for feedback on which chatacters to include - I was humbled to have received some 40+ suggestions! Using an online spin the wheel generator I narrowed it down to the final six and revealed each cell one at a time and tagged those whose character suggestion had been chosen 🤗

It was a fantastic challenge because I got to practice drawing characters I hadn't before, while also getting to doodle more of my faves 🤩

My name is Claire but you can call me Eri or Echo! I go by they/them pronouns (also found in my bio). I'm an 18 year old based in the United States.

Since I was young, art and writing have played a major role in my life. Hense, it has been a passion of mine that I'm endlessly turning back to. I'm currently studying creative writing, book publishing, and graphic design online; later hoping to study art history and print production. The Chay Rewatch Ep 8

Ep 8 - Chay flies his red flag

Okay this one has nothing to do with ep 8 but rather a thing about ep 7’s Chay Outfit I just realized!

Chay’s shirt said Vendredi which means Friday in French. Well, when else have we connected Chay to Fridays? It's so blink and you miss it! In ep 4, Kim sings “Your laughter that makes me feel like it’s Friday” as Chay watches on from the crowd. I’ve already gone into how this song foreshadows the KimChay relationship and Kim’s inevitable heartbreak-induced songwriting, but that shirt being a direct callback to that song is so intense to me! (I also was totally not rewatching that ep at 2 am that is so not relevent)

Chay’s shirts are such a treasure trove I’m obsessed, costuming I am your biggest fan

Time: 18:55 – 20:59 – Kim Take Up Coloring

I want to know the point of these maps so bad, are they territory lines or areas Kim can go without running into Chay (since he’s in his first ignore his own feelings and Chay era)

Kim also has an old-fashioned gramophone and records, which is definitely something he and Chay bonded over during their many not-dates

Kim’s outfit: A blue, gray, and black colorblock overshirt with a plain white shirt underneath as well as his silver jewelry, this time with a corded silver chain that I adore.

The pictures they chose for the parents’ photos make them seem like socialites

“Do you watch too many movies?” – you say just before you blurt out the most telenovela plot idea ever of the mom being your father’s mistress

I wonder how much Kim thought about that, the idea that Porsche & Chay could be his father’s kids. Maybe that’s another reason for Kim to start ignoring Chay. He knows he’s falling for Chay, but he’s trying to keep his feelings from developing further until he knows

I don’t like the pseudo-incest plotline that comes in later on, mainly because we’d already seen KinnPorsche fuck nasty a billion times, but also because there’s no setup outside of this one comment from Kim. If they really wanted to commit pseudo-incest, there needs to be a much more intricate setup

Does Kim really want to move on from investigating Porsche? Or does he just want to run away from his feelings for Chay?

Okay the phone call – I’m 99% sure that’s Chay calling, especially since we know Chay asks why Kim’s dodging his calls. I compared the Thai spelling of his name to the name on the phone, and I think it's similar. Who else would Kim be ignoring like that?

Kim looks pissed when he goes back to his coloring. Mad at himself for developing feelings for Chay? Mad at himself for ignoring Chay? Emotional constipation in general?

Time: 35:40 – 38:12 – Chay pulls a Kim

I have so many questions about how Chay found Kim’s apartment. Kim most certainly did not bring him there, so Chay had to do some stalking. His excuse that he asked a friend is so paper thin. Kim would never bring a friend home, and which one would Chay ask?

He probably already knew from his Wik obsession but knew that going there was a big no. Now tho? He has an excuse to show up at Kim’s unannounced like Kim did to him

The MC friend doesn’t seem close to Kim, judging by how when Kim actually rolls up to class, he gives him the news about Chay he could have texted meaning he doesn’t know how to contact Kim or just isn’t close enough to do so. The rehearsal space friend is more plausible, but I digress

KimChay really is Stalker for Stalker

Kim’s Outfit: A really cute pumpkin-colored jacket with a black shirt and pants combo. I really like his black leather boots. They seem way more function than fashion. A new silver chain but his usual rings and earrings I think

Chay’s Outfit: another plaid shirt look that so works for him. I like to call this Chay’s angel look. He’s in a cream-colored plaid shirt with faint blue and orangish details as well as a white shirt. White Converse too. His silver pendant has some kind of design but I can’t tell what.

The lighting and set really paint Chay as the light and Kim as the dark. You’ve got Kim whose legs blend into the dark colors of the foyer and then Chay who stands as a bright beacon in the street under the sun. He’s not involved in the mafia yet, so he remains a bright, unrestrained light.

Chay’s cute little stance as he bamboozles Kim (& he def bamboozles Kim). He’s just so excited to see his target- sorry his crush!

I love the emotions Kim inadvertently shows during this scene. He’s so cold, but you can tell he’s so caught off guard by Chay and his genuine feelings, and he’s so heart eyes about Chay’s red flags. He’s still being a dick trying to brush Chay off, but you also see his hard-shell cracking

Chay you are so accidentally freaky I love you

Chay, to me, is so powerful. He sees the brush off Kim is trying to give him, but he stands his ground. He’s no people pleaser, and I don’t think he’s doing this to keep Kim’s romantic attention. He’s fully aware of the opportunity being tutored by someone like Kim is, because he’s a kid that always had to scrape by. Letting this go without a fight, without doing everything he could to keep it is not something he’s hardwired to do

Chay’s really funny – the guitar stand bit made me giggle (him being funny, hopeful, or happy often is mislabeled as him being childish or naïve but I digress y’all know my thoughts on that)

I’m sorry but the name on the sign behind Chay being ‘The Mystery,’ no wonder Kim lives there

Chay’s so talented, raw but talented. Clean up the song a bit, give him some vocal training, and you’ll have a really catchy song and probably will do numbers online

Excuse you Mr. Security guard man! Can you not see he’s trying to serenade someone! Also why choose now to interrupt and not at the beginning? Bro decided to give him a chance at least lol

And now he places the ball in Kim’s court. Chay may be a touch obsessive and freaky, but he knows what lines he can and can’t cross. Asking Kim to tell him what he thinks and immediately leaving gives Kim space as well as leaving an open dialogue

Kim’s face as Chay walks away shows how conflicted he feels. He is aware that he’s developing feelings for Chay, but he’s also doubly aware that something fishy is going on within his family. He has so much conflict because Kim’s not an emotional person. He cares about his brothers (and that’s from a distance), and he’s suspicious of his father that’s it. Kim has to grow as a person if he wants to love Chay

Overall Chay Rating (Chrating): A

This ep has my favorite Chay and Kim outfits I won’t lie. I love how they (on purpose or not) match the set as well as who these two characters are at this point in time. Chay is still completely unaware of the mafia so he stays in the light while Kim is entrenching himself in his family’s secrets and trying to push Chay away leaving him in the dark. Chay also shows how much of a fighter he is. He's a strong independent character! He's emotionally mature and capable of making his own decisions! He isn’t going to let Kim slink away without at least being able to say he did everything he could. He’s letting them either end on a completed note for Chay or continue to grow closer if that’s what Kim wants. Chay always allows others to have a choice in what they do next, we’ve seen this with Chay backing down after Kim seems uncomfortable & here where Chay leaves without making Kim answer him before he’s ready. This episode also begins to drop hints that Nampueng is more important to Korn than previously thought. Damn, I wish the Kimspiracy Board had actually had a real hold on the plot instead of being inevitably useless and forgotten.

Last night we celebrated World Dracula Day at our local bar and of course we busted out our favorite vampire and familiar!

And yes, I finally got to wear my screen accurate purple sweater!

Breakdown:

1. Wig and Contacts: Wig is from wigisfashion and styled by my forever lovely Dracula. Contacts are from Uniqso.

2. Undershirt and Sweater: Undershirt is just a Hanes plain white t-shirt. Sweater is the Vince Men's Birdseye Raglan Long Sleeve Crew in Wisteria/Pearl. I'm wearing a size small.

3. Handcuffs: Metal easy release handcuffs from Amazon.

4. Jeans are just a thrift store buy.

5. Socks are the same ones I used for my Colorblock sweater variant.

6. Shoes are NOT screen accurate but I'm currently waiting for mine in the mail. The UK has delayed mail due to the coronation.

Mino was hoping so very much Lariel would ask!!! She's just the cutest, and let's be honest she has a protective sense for the girl and wants to see her become that proud storm she knows she can be! She's made leaps and bounds, so let's put them to the test with a girls-day-out doing some daring things! Rollerskating at the rink, a recovery dinner at a local diner, then rounding it out with karaoke for the night! Mino's own singing voice has only just started coming back, so she'll be just as nervous don't worry! She'll even cover the drinks (liquid courage) hehe

Top + Bottoms: For this look, Mino is inspired by a mix of Lariel's band outfit with the azata-gang and her classic delicate floral princess aesthetic. She's going with a vibe that'll fit the planned activities for the day - especially rollerskating! Lariel is getting out of that usual dress into something a little more playful and casual: this beige cuffed overalls and sweater that just SCREAMS azata! The purple fits the iconic 'Lariel purple', and these bright blue azata butterflies will look great under the neon lighting!!

Shoes: Mino's got two for her! These purple skates with butterflies on them? Perfection. Especially with the purple-striped tube socks too! Now these other ones? They'll have to be taken off for the skates, but for the rest of the day?? These patchwork high-top ankle boots are SO damn cute. They're chunky enough to still match with the rest of the outfit when the skates aren't on and comfortable too. Mino wishes she could find the patches in purple, but... close enough! Light baby blues fit Lariel just as much, and won't clash with the rest of the colors in the outfit.

Hair/Hat: Those cascading brown tresses...! Gorgeous, but Mino needs to make sure they're up and out of the way. This high-pony ribbon look is perfect - the higher the better and with biggest bow Mino can manage to tie. She'll use this lilac ribbon to tie the look together.

Other Accessories: These tubes socks with pink and purple drip motif are cool and cute as hell! They'll look so cool with the rest of Lariel's look, ESPECIALLY with these pastel colorblock knee and elbow guards! How cute are these??? They'll be just off-matching enough with the outfit that they'll match all over again, and Lariel will look like a queen on the roller disco floor for sure!

Sometimes being transmasc with a weird relationship with your dad is just. I have your build and your appetite and your tendency to pace. I talk to myself the same way that you do. When I think about what kind of style I want to build I want to wear blue jeans and a bandana and a good-quality watch and I want to carry a red swiss army knife with me and I think I'm cosplaying you. One time I was listening to Flim & the BB's and had the idea to finish out your collection of their CDs. A few weeks later I wore one of your 90s colorblock shirts and when you saw it you fumed all throughout dinner and then came upstairs to ask me "who gave you permission to wear my clothes" like I'd killed someone. I thought that it might've been because of something that happened to you when you were a kid, some trauma I wasn't aware of but it was just you being transphobic. First time I'd heard of a dad hating that his son thought that his style was cool. Mom said that you said that me being trans breaks your heart and that that was an exact quote, and I know she's telling the truth. When I came out you said you were never going to call me my name and I think you were telling the truth too. One time a stranger at the ren faire the exact same age at you said that he was proud of me and that he normally had on a free dad hugs pin and it made me cry and one time a 30-something on Tumblr made a post saying that if anyone wanted an extra dad they could be it and one of the things that they would do was be proud of you and it made me cry and one time my professor said that if I were his son he'd be proud of me and it made me cry and I also think about that almost every day. I don't think that you'll ever call me your son. You should be proud of me. I'm proud of me. This Christmas the final Flim & the BB's CD and LP arrived and it seemed like it was the only present you really loved. I don't know if you know they were my idea. I don't know if I want to tell you that they were. I didn't realize that wanting to be like you was a crime.

oooh I've already thought about this quite a bit! my sonas are pretty much all part of my headworlds so I've thought about where they'd live. I have quite a few so I'll just include my mains and some secondary sonas.

Clover (main sona) - one-story townhouse in desert suburbia, sliding glass door to a grassy fenced-in backyard with a little garden, marble-top bar separating the kitchen and living room has quite a few potted succulents in colorful pots. Lots of fun little pops of retro and rainbow colors. They'd have shelves full of their Pokemon collection and consoles to play games. Yoga mat + weights for working out too. and their bedroom is dim and cozy with a big quilted loft bed and a big desk for work/gaming/streaming. and their comfort stuffed animals, fairy lights, etc

Raven (halloween sona / glitched clone of Clover) - apartment in autumn town, Halloween meets gamer decor. Blacks and dark greys, hanging Halloween decorations, lots of posters of alt & rock bands, cryptozoology and UFO stuff. their ADHD and sensory issues get the best of them so it's dim-lit and messy, they're also the type for beanbags and have a big flatscreen for gaming 

Maximilian (alt main sona) - old-timey but nice apartment in a cozy town! lots of browns and sepia tones, probably have a nice fabric armchair and lots of books. big windows with thick draping curtains, vintage decor, a writing nook with a typewriter

Coffee - a small hut on a tall rock spire over the ocean, connected to the mainland by a wooden bridge. they spend most of their time away from home so it's mostly a storage for their art supplies, canvases, trinkets etc. probably have some cute flags, garlands and windchimes hanging outside

Rainbow - lighthouse cabin with pre-modern retro feel. lots of open space, tables for mail and stationary, lots of natural light, couch, rainbows painted on the walls, vivid circle rugs. their kitchen cabinets are definitely painted in colorblocks, maybe some kitschy stuff in there
