Konan 💙🌈 commission drawn for @luna575
Thank you for commissioning me, I really appreciate it and i hope you like it.
This is actually my first time drawing konan!!! I really like konan so much and I wish so bad that she had gotten a better ending. She deserved better. All of the ame trio did. I wish she had been able to see her dream come true,, of amegakure getting out from under the thumb of the bigger fascist nations and finally prospering. But that's what fanfic is for I guess. Sigh. Also I think her paper jutsu (which is that a kekkei genkai?? I'm actually not sure) is such a creative and fucking cool power. Like you wouldn't think paper is all that strong, but she uses it so cleverly. Konan geniusly fuses her origami art, her vast experience, and her tactical knowledge to create beautiful and deadly attacks. It's so cool, she can use her paper for traps, weapons, decoys, spying, even simple bamboozlement!! I feel like ppl definitely aren't expecting her to just suddenly poof into thousands of pieces of paper. Let alone paper bombs. And I think she can weave genjutsu into that move too??? God she is so cool. A literal angel. Plus her trap for "madara" just showed how smart she was, how closely she had watched him all those years to discover his fatal weaknesses. If izanagi wasnt a thing, she would've killed him right then and there!!!!!!!! Love her.

happy pride month! please consider helping a disabled queer person afford the bare necessities to survive
Tumblr media
hi everyone. you’ve probably seen a few of my posts floating around in the last few months – life has not been kind to me. i lost my job due to ableism and haven’t been able to find another one willing to make accommodations for me. i have diabetes and need insulin several times a day, and need to regularly visit the doctor for a myriad of reasons. for the last few months, i’ve been relying solely on the generosity of others and whatever money i make from commissions.
if anyone could spare a few dollars, it would mean the world to me. i’m going to run out of insulin again soon and i’ve been eating once a day for weeks now, if eating at all. my commissions are always open, so if you’re interested in that, you can find the link below. last of all, if you can’t help monetarily, i totally understand – things are grim for all of us right now. all i ask is that you boost this post and spread it around as much as possible so that more people see it.
you can find all of my links below. thank you for reading!

tags ! diluc ragnvindr x fem reader, fluff
word count ! 5.2k
Tumblr media
note: hello hello @umgatochamadopercyval !! i got you for the @2023gisecretsanta event 🫶 i got a little carried away so i’m very sorry for the word length 😭 either way, i hope you enjoy it MWAH <3 i had a lot of fun writing this for you !!
Tumblr media
When Barbara approached you asking if you’d like to be part of her Secret Santa event, you immediately agreed. She said she was going around inviting people she knew would be interested in participating.
You asked her who else had decided to participate in the event and she named a few others. Lisa, Kaeya, Sucrose, Venti, a few sisters from the Cathedral, Eury, Donna. All people you knew well since they constantly came to Good Hunter and you spoke to them while they waited for their food.
Barbara said she was still asking people to join. So once she had an even number, she’d go down a list and have them pick out a paper to see who their Secret Santa was. Everyone would get a month to find the gifts. Then, the gifts would be revealed at a Christmas party she was working on.
Nearly a week and a half after that, Barbara came rushing over to Good Hunter with a small bag in her hand. She was her usual cheerful self and more now since the Secret Santa event she planned out.
“(Y/N)! Do you have a moment?” Barbara asked, waving and standing near the side of the stall. She had been waiting to see when it would be available. Her smile showed just how excited she was.
“Give a second!” You said, smiling as well. After taking the current order and the customer went to sit down at one of the tables, Barbara approached. She showed off the small brown bag and you knew what she was hinting at. “How many people did you get to join?” You asked, making sure to wipe your hands clean.
“I got thirty people!” She said, holding the bag open. The number made your eyebrows raise. Barbara was very serious about this. You peered inside the bag. Small red and green sheets of paper were mixed together. The amount was smaller than what Barbara had said so you assumed she already went to some of the people.
You reached in, grabbing one of the slips at the bottom of the bag and pulled out a red slip. Barbara closed the bag once you got your person. She made sure the strings on the bag were tight so nothing would fall out.
“Could you check it to make sure you didn’t pull your own name?” She asked. You nodded your head.
“Of course!” You said, opening the slip of paper. You wondered whose name you ended up getting out of the bag. It would make shopping and searching for someone’s gift a fun experience. Hopefully it was Lisa. There were several new books you wanted to get for her and replace a few worn out books in her library. That was until you read the name of the person who would give you the most trouble searching for a gift.
Your smile faded slightly. In black ink, Barbara had written Diluc’s name on your slip. Her star and balloon drawn decorations on the paper made it more exciting than it actually was. Of all thirty people who decided to participate, you were the unlucky one stuck with Diluc. He wasn’t a bad person but you didn’t really know enough about him.
“Nope. Didn’t get my own name.” You said to Barbara, folding the paper in half again.
“Great! Thank you again for joining!” She exclaimed happily. “Remember not to tell anyone and you have a month from now.”
She waved before heading off. She needed to catch the rest of the people and hopefully finish this by the end of the day. As she sped towards the building of the Knights, you stared at her cursive handwriting.
The red haired male came into your mind. What were you going to get Diluc for Christmas? He was a reserved character. You couldn’t name a single thing he liked except grape juice. And there wasn’t anything else that stood out about him that would remind you of him.
For example, if it were Klee, you could have gotten her a new book bag or matching hats for her and Dodoco. Sucrose would be happy to get a new chemistry set. She definitely needed one after breaking a few beakers. Whereas Diluc… Nothing.
You started to think about certain gifts. Candles were a good option if that didn’t scream, ‘I don’t know you’. He never wore accessories. No rings, necklaces, or bracelets. Perhaps he didn’t like them but a hairpin from Liyue would be worth the trip. You let out a frustrated sigh, scratching the back of your head.
Was there anyone who knew what he liked that you could ask them?
Well, there were a few people. Now that you think about it, asking them probably isn’t a good idea either. Donna was off the table. You aren’t sure how far her title as a fan of Diluc’s went. And you also didn’t know if Barbara had asked her to be part of the event. That means Donna would definitely get jealous since you got the person she wanted.
Next was Kaeya. Asking him was fifty—fifty. He was rather sneaky and playful. Definitely the type of person to come up with a lie so you’d gift Diluc something he hated all because Kaeya wanted to mess with him. Or maybe you’d get the lucky half and he would be kind enough to actually say something his brother likes.
Then the people who worked for Diluc were also not a good choice. For one, you didn’t know them well enough to know if they’d keep this a secret. Two, they probably didn’t know Diluc well enough to tell you what he liked or disliked the most.
You were already stressed out, even if you had an entire month. You carefully stuffed the slip of paper into the front pocket of your apron. Thankfully, you were going on your break soon. You tapped your fingers on the countertop as you thought of what to do.
The worst idea yet came to your mind. You were just going to have to ask Diluc himself. You can't blurt out and reveal you got him for the Secret Santa event. Since your conversations with him are very brief, in order to do this, it needs to be in the most discreet manner possible. That way, it won’t make him get suspicious of you.
Tumblr media
“Diluc!” He heard his name being called. Instinctively, he looked over at the tavern entrance after passing a customer their drink. He saw you approaching the bar while smiling at him. “How are you?”
“(Y/N).” Diluc gave a curt nod and picked up an empty glass cup. You sat down on a stool, watching him clean the area for you with a wet rag. “It’s good to see you. I’m doing fine. I assume your shift has ended?” He motioned to your uniform. You occasionally came to Angel’s Share when you were off the clock. It was just to relax for a few minutes and socialize before heading home for the day.
“I’m on my break right now.” You said. You scouted the first floor to see who was here. The floor was nearly deserted, only consisting of the tavern’s usual customers. You turned back to Diluc, thinking about the slip with his name on it in your pocket. “What about you? Are you leaving soon?”
“No. I may be here all day.” Diluc said. You needed to make this worth the while. No way were you leaving the city to go all the way to the winery. “Charles wasn’t feeling well.”
He finished wiping down the counter and threw the rag over his shoulder. He didn’t have his coat on since the tavern was relatively warm. The weather outside was getting colder as the days went on.
“What can I get for you?” He asked.
“A berry and mint burst.” It was what you normally got whenever you paid a visit.
As Diluc grabbed one of the glasses to make your drink, you thought this would be a good time to ease into the conversation. He seemed concentrated on making your drink so he probably might not be too responsive. Either way, you needed to try.
“I feel like we don’t talk a lot.” You said, as Diluc poured the light blue liquid into the cup. He let out a confused hum at your statement and set the bottle back down. He stepped away from the counter, searching for the remaining ingredients that belonged in your drink.
“And what do you mean by that?” He sounded as intimidating and serious as he always did.
“We don’t talk a lot.” You said. He carefully pushed your drink in your direction. “I think we’re more acquaintances than friends. Don’t you?” You grabbed your drink in one hand.
Diluc rested on the counter as he narrowed his eyes at you. His gaze seemed to be studying you instead of being mad at something you said. The guy sitting next to you left a few Mora on the countertop and left the tavern. He also left behind two cups to be picked up and cleaned.
“I say the same, yes.” Diluc said, scooping the Mora on the wooden counter.
His responses are repeats of what you say. It makes it feel like he’s simply not interested in having a conversation. Plus, he is always seen with an uninterested expression. His personality is nowhere near Kaeya’s.
Getting Diluc to talk is harder than you thought. At this point, you wanted to be straightforward and admit what you were truly here for.
“What’s your favorite thing about yourself?” You suddenly asked. Too strong of a question. He would figure out what your intentions were by it. Diluc raised an eyebrow as he dried one of the cups with a different rag than the one from earlier.
“What’s my favorite thing about myself?” He repeated your question. He glanced down at the cup before turning around. He sorted it out with the stack of cups used by tavern customers. You heard him say the question again but much lower this time. Eventually, he crossed his arms, staring at the wall before giving his answer. “I love my long, luscious and luxurious red hair.”
“Wait— What?” You sputtered.
“I answered your question. My favorite thing about myself is my hair.” Diluc faced you. He had his normal stoic expression. Was he telling the truth or poorly executing a joke? You squint your eyes. Diluc’s hair was well taken care of. Out of all his features, his hair and the color of it stood out the most. The length of it also suited him. Diluc with short hair was like a nightmare. Maybe because he never wore it in any other style except his ponytail. “Is that not something I can say?”
“No, no,” You said, taking a sip from your drink. The minty taste made your eyes water. “I didn’t expect you to say that. I thought you would have said your eyes. Your hair is really pretty.”
He managed to make his hair look like silk. There had been times you were tempted to touch it. As you put your cup back on the wooden counter, you thought of your next question.
“How do you get your hair to look like that?” You placed your chin on the palm of your hand. Whatever routine he said, you might need to start using it.
“Slime condensate.” Diluc petted the tips of his hair. Your expression changed to one of disbelief. “It needs to be the thick hydro slimes from Inazuma. I like to get them from Watatsumi Island since the area is surrounded by water.”
You had to take some time to process what he said. The infamous Dawn Winery owner put slime in his hair to keep it “luscious” and “luxurious” at all times. You had never heard of anyone putting slime in their hair. You scratched the top of your head. Whenever Diluc said something new about himself, the idea of giving him a gift for this event seemed impossible.
That wasn’t the only time you went to Angel’s Share. You went back for an entire week, trying to pry information out of Diluc. There needed to be one thing he liked and was willing to share with you. The only problem with that was to have him stop talking about his hair.
“I love my hair color. Did you know it’s natural?”
“It’s so hard to keep it this soft. If the slime isn’t from Inazuma, my hair gets all tangled.”
“Cut it? No, I’d never cut it. I’ve been growing it out since I was a child. My father’s hair was exactly like mine.”
You didn’t take him as the narcissist type or the kind of person to be full of himself.
Your last hope at getting him a gift was what he used for his hair. Diluc let you know what the process to get the slime condensate was. He said it is called an extraction. It was harmless to the slimes. In order for this to happen, he or someone else would grab hold of a slime. As this is going on, the other person will begin to pluck out condensate from under the bottom part.
You weren’t going to make it to Inazuma and return to Mondstadt in time for the party.
Sara went with you to find Herta and ask her to send your commission over to Inazuma. She was a little skeptical at how overly specific but she said with enough Mora, someone over there would be willing to take up the challenge.
That was two weeks ago. The party was in a week from now. You started to panic. Did no one take up your commission? You asked Lumine to take an impromptu trip to Liyue and see what items you could find.
She agreed. The Honorary Knight protected you along the way. Thankfully, there weren’t any monsters that attacked you on your trip. Liyue had rarer beauties that cost a lot more. In the end, it was going to be worth it. You found the gift after hours of searching. This was reserved only if the condensate didn’t make it to Mondstadt on time.
“Pardon me,” A tall, unknown man approached since there wasn’t a line. You could tell he was from another region. He had a box underneath his arm. His white, puffy coat covered his entire body. The hood he had on covered the majority of his blue hair. With good reason. The cold weather this year was entirely different. At least you were near the fire. “My name is Kamisato Ayato. I’m looking for a lady by the name of (Y/N). She requested a commission in Inazuma.”
“That’s me.” You said.
“Ah, wonderful. This makes it all the much easier.” He placed the box on top of the counter. The gloves he was currently wearing were white while the inside had a sort of dark purple lining. He removed the hood from over his head, settling his hands on top of the mysterious box. “The person who did your commission told me to be very careful with it. He said he went out of his way to make it the very best.”
“Did you come all this way just to deliver it yourself?” You felt a little guilty but Ayato let out a chuckle.
“No, no. I’m the leader of the Yashiro Commission.” He waved his hand, “I’m in Mondstadt for the holidays. I thought it was a good idea to bring over your commission. That way you wouldn’t have to wait too long.” He patted the box before insisting you take it.
You pulled the box over, noticing how heavy it was.
“Anyway, everything has already been paid for on our end.” Ayato said, adjusting his coat. “I was also told to pass on a message to you. If you had any more… Specific commissions to be done in Inazuma, simply request for Arataki Itto. He’s more than willing to help.”
That must have been the guy who did your commission. You hope to meet him in person one day to thank him over and over for what he did.
“Thank you very much.” You flashed Ayato a smile. He did the same in return, “Enjoy your holidays and your stay in Mondstadt!”
“Thank you,” He bowed his head, “The same goes to you. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’ll be on my way.”
As soon as Ayato was gone, you decided it was a good idea to open the box. Your jaw dropped at the contents. It was a lot more than you had asked for. Considering what was given, you had definitely underpaid this Itto guy. Either he was a perfectionist or he was extremely reckless.
The jars of slime were actually much bigger than you expected. Maybe you should have been specific on that as well. How many hydro slimes on Watatsumi Island had to undergo an extraction to get all this condensate? Even though Diluc said the extraction process is not harmful for the slimes and they’re constantly growing, you’re starting to feel bad for them.
At least it arrived at a good time before the party. With the slime condensate here, your gift for Diluc was ready. But you had both items. There wasn’t any point in keeping the second gift for yourself. Maybe it would give you a hint on what Diluc likes. Hopefully next year, Donna was the one stuck with him instead of you.
Tumblr media
The party was being hosted at Angel’s Share. It was closed for the holiday and with his permission, Diluc allowed Barbara to have the party there. So long as she prepared all the decorations and food. He didn’t mind making the drinks since it would allow him to keep a better eye on Venti.
When you arrived, the ongoing scene was a bit of a mess. Barbara was apologizing profusely to someone. You recognized one of them. Ayato, the man from the other day. He laughed loudly when he noticed Barbara beginning to tear up. Next to him was a girl who had similar features. She chuckled softly when Ayato hugged Barbara and reassured her everything was fine. The girl had to be related to him.
“You’re here.” You heard Diluc’s voice. He had been at the bar but spotted you as soon as you came through the door. His eyes landed on the gift you were holding. “If you’d like, you can leave that over there. Barbara said we’ll open the gifts after eating and once everyone is here.” Diluc motioned to a round table in a corner. Several of the partygoers left their gifts either on the table or on the floor. Some were big, others small. You were curious to find out which one was meant for you.
“Okay, thanks.” You went over to the table and placed the gift next to one that was the same size. You weren’t about to carry that around all night. The glass jars were too heavy for that.
After you put your gift with the rest, you decided to join the rest of the crowd.
You found out that Kamisato Ayato was Diluc’s closest friend. He and his sister, Ayaka, came to Mondstadt to celebrate the holiday with Diluc. Last year, he was the one who went to Inazuma to visit the siblings. Barbara was apologizing because she didn’t know they would be here. And if she did, she’d prepare a gift so that neither would feel left out. They let her know it was an unforeseen event and she had no reason to apologize.
Bennett and Fischl were the last to arrive. Afterwards, Barbara asked everyone to come to the first floor and get their gifts so she could explain the rules. You placed yours underneath your chair. Jean sat next to you, keeping hers on her lap and making small talk about who she guessed you had.
The table in the corner was soon empty. Whoever went first, the person who received the gift would go next. So on and so on until all gifts were exchanged.
Donna decided to start the chain off. For an odd reason, she had two gifts. You all gave each other the same knowing look. One gift was meant for her Secret Santa and the other was obviously meant for Diluc. If anything, you were already aware she had selected a better choice in present for him. Except Barbara didn’t let her give it to him right away and told her to wait until everything was over.
She had Bennett. From Bennett, it went over to Klee. He had gifted the little girl a new backpack and a tiny one for Dodoco. Klee’s gift went to Razor. He might have been the happiest one from the night. Eventually the chain went around to Albedo who had just opened his gift from Lisa.
“For my Secret Santa, I got (Y/N).” Albedo handed you a wrapped box.
It had candy canes all over the paper and a giant bow on the top. You heard some rustling inside. You tore the wrapping paper off the sides. Removing it fully, you opened the box and your eyes widened in astonishment. Albedo had carefully packaged two glass cloches beside each other. They contained flowers sprouting on the inside. He went as far as adding grass to the base and making it seem like a small garden.
“I managed to find a way to preserve cecilias and glaze lilies.” He explained and helped you take one of them out to show everyone else. “I remember you said they’re your favorite flowers. These will never die even if you take the glass off of them. And you won’t need to water them either.”
“Thank you so much, Albedo!” You said, opening up one arm to give him a hug. He reciprocated the action. “And I love how you painted butterflies on the glass domes!”
“Actually, they’re called cloches.” Ayato corrected from across the room, making your attention go from Albedo to him. Ayaka ended up smacking his knee with her fan. The entire room let out a collective laugh at the two siblings bickering.
Your eyes drifted over to Diluc who sat next to the Kamisato siblings. It seemed like he already knew he was going to be next. Both of his hands are on his lap, waiting to get his gift. He was staring at you intently and tapping his gloved hand against his thigh. You set Albedo’s gift next to your chair with extra care.
“My gift is to Diluc.” You said. You slid out the wrapped box from underneath your chair. You had both your hands holding the bottom side of the box. Watching your step, you made your way to the other side of the room where Diluc was.
“Ah, this should be interesting.” Ayato said with a grin on his face. He shifted in his chair, body leaning towards his friend. He seemed more interested in the gift than the person who was receiving it.
“It’s heavy.” You said, nervously. You gently handed it over to Diluc.
“Thank you.” He took it in his arms and placed it on the floor between his feet. Ayato moved his chair closer to get a better view of what your gift to his best friend would be. Diluc waited until you sat back down in your chair. He began to unwrap the ribbon you’d tied around the entire box. He pulled on one edge of the lace, allowing it to unravel on its own.
After that was over, he lifted off the top of the box. You watched anxiously to see his reaction to your gift. When Diluc saw what was inside, a small smirk came on his lips. Meanwhile, Ayato scrunched up his eyebrows at the peculiar choice. He realized what the items were and why exactly your commission had been such a weird request.
Diluc kept the lid on his lap. He crouched over in his chair and pulled out one of the seven items inside.
In his hands, Diluc held a glass jar filled to the top with slime condensate. There wasn't only one in there. You had asked for a minimum of three jars in your commission and sent over enough Mora for their troubles. But, being the nice person he was, Itto decided to get you a total of—
“Six jars of slime condensate.” Diluc held it up in the air as if he was examining it. You started to feel a little embarrassed when he spun it around and showed it off the rest of the crowd. They each side eyed each other, wondering what kind of present that was. You actively avoided their gazes as they questioned your choice. Why did he have to start off with the worst gift? “I’m assuming they come from Watatsumi Island?” He said in a slight teasing tone.
Diluc’s lips twitched upwards when he glanced over at you. He shook the jar a little, the slime bouncing around. It clinked against the other jars as he carefully set it back into the gift box. Next, he moved onto the second gift. Right beside all of the six jars was a dark red jewelry box. It had a geo symbol carved on the top which Diluc knew you got it from Liyue.
He placed it on his lap and cautiously opened it since he wasn’t sure of what was inside. Inside, the box had a black velvety texture. It had two separate sections. Ayato heard his friend let out a small snicker before composing himself and turning it around for the remaining partygoers to see.
“It’s a matching hairbrush and a hair comb.” Diluc said.
Both the brush and comb were designed to be the same. They had been marbleized with red and gold. What stood out the most was the hair comb. The accessory had been made to resemble a phoenix. Its wings were outstretched and the beak pointed upwards. If placed in the hair correctly, it was supposed to give off the illusion the phoenix was flying.
“Oh, how beautiful.” Ayaka silently complimented.
The jewelry box closed with a snap and Diluc set it beside the six jars of slime condensate. He closed the lid of his gift and a wide smile spread on his face. For some reason, you felt like he found this entire situation hilarious.
“Thank you, (Y/N). I’m especially grateful for the slime.” He said. Diluc cleared his throat right after and the smile disappeared. He ended up picking up his gift and announced who his Secret Santa was. “My gift is to Sucrose.”
The remaining gifts were passed around until everyone had opened their gifts. They were all thoughtful and generous.
Everyone loved their gifts and it was perfect for their personalities. Yet, your eyes kept looking over at Diluc’s present. He had to be lying. The party continued as normal. People broke off into their separate groups, ate the remaining leftovers and treats, and played a few games. The gifts, held dear in everyone’s hearts, were forgotten at the moment.
An hour passed and you thought it would be a good time to leave the party. You put your coat on as well as your gloves. Thankfully, you didn’t live too far from the tavern. There should still be a few guards patrolling the city in case of intruders.
“I’m going to be leaving now.” You said to Barbara while holding your gift from Albedo. You wanted to thank him again only to find out he’d left with Klee a long time ago. The little girl was starting to get sleepy and tried to play it off that she wasn’t tired.
“You are? Aw, I wanted you to stay a little longer!” Barbara said. Diluc overheard your conversation and he had already slipped on his red jacket.
“Allow me to walk you home. I insist.” He said, opening the tavern door. Cold air rushed in causing his cheeks and nose to get rosy. “Barbara, if I don’t return soon and everyone has left, don’t worry about cleaning the mess. Head home as well.” He instructed before leaving the tavern right after you.
The door closed. Diluc fixed his jacket as he began following you.
He only had plans to drop you off at your home safely and return to the tavern. You were both walking in silence. You glanced out the corner of your eye. Diluc’s hands were in his pockets. He had a small smile on his face. It was starting to get to you. The smile had the appearance he knew something and purposely refused to tell you what it was. You exhaled loudly, deciding to confront and get it over with. It would be better for him to be honest.
“You didn’t like your gift… Did you?” You asked, stopping in your tracks. You tilted your head to the side and turned to face him.
“I did like my gift. Why would you ask that question?” He answered.
“Why are you smiling like that then?” You nodded your head. It was really in the most innocent and subconscious manner. Diluc didn’t want you to take it the wrong way so it was a good time to come clean. Especially since the hunt for gifts and the party was over. He left his gift in the tavern, right behind the bar counter so no one would find it.
“I have something to admit.” He said.
Oh. Your eyes widened slightly. You took a step back. Donna was going to be mad.
“I lied to you. I don’t actually use slime condensate in my hair.”
Oh. You narrowed your eyes at the man standing in front of you. Scratch that, you were going to be mad. The smile on Diluc’s face grew a lot more visible.
“What?” You finally spoke up. “You’re joking, right?”
“No. I’m not joking.” He shook his head. Your jaw dropped at the confirmation. “I don’t use it. If anyone does, they must be out of their mind to put that in their hair.”
“So you were faking the entire time?!” You shouted. He had led you to believe his hair was his favorite feature and that he cared for it the most. All those times he complained about running low on slime and he might need to find a replacement before getting his new stash from Inazuma. Pure lies he made on the spot. He was so convincing, you thought all he loved in life was slime condensate. “Diluc, you’re such a jerk!” You would have punched him if you weren’t carrying your gift. He grinned briefly at your weak insult.
“Is it my fault you were terrible at hiding you had me for Secret Santa?” He said. He began to walk again and you sped up to join him. You had to be honest. Your attempts were very pitiful when you spoke with Diluc that entire week. It’s much easier to talk with him at the moment than beforehand. “Though, I like your gift more than Donna’s.”
That’s an accomplishment.
“Are you sure six jars were necessary?”
“Leave me alone.”

hi everyone , my name is shroom and i’m a disabled queer person who needs some financial help . i recently started working again for the first time since being diagnosed with fibromyalgia and diabetes . finding work that will make proper accommodations for me is extremely rare , so when i got my most recent job and they were willing to make those accommodations , i was thrilled .
obviously because i’m making this post , you can assume that things did not go well . it took them a week after hiring me to even start the paperwork process , and then they failed to submit it in time to meet the deadline for that week’s pay period . so i waited . one night i was working up front and a customer got pissed and threw a pizza at me . i took the rest of the night off and they texted me later on telling me to take a few days to myself . at first i thought they were being kind , but now that i’m texting and asking about getting paid and getting put back on the schedule , they’re not responding . and i’m realizing that they’re going to try and not pay me for the work i’ve done .
i’m going to report everything to the department of labor and try to get this resolved , but in the meantime i could definitely use some support . i’m going to need to restock on insulin and needles very soon , which will run me about $85-90– $35 for three pens of both levemir and humalog , and anywhere from $10-15 for the needles . i don’t want to ask for too much but it would also be very cool to have some healthier food options to choose from so that i can try to get my blood sugar back to a normal level .
if anyone can spare even a few dollars , it would mean the world to me . my commissions are also open if you’re interested !!

There's been a lot going around in the last week or so about fanbinding and concerns from fic authors about binders profiting from their work. I just wanted to clear the air a little around here with some info about my own work just so we're all on the same page.
I will never profit from any fanbound works, including my own. Every book I bind includes a legalese section in the beginning of the typeset stating that it is not for for-profit resale. I do not charge anything for books I choose to bind and gift myself.
I will never sell another author's work even indirectly through commissions. My fanbinding requests are open exclusively to fic authors who want their own fics bound or exceptional cases of a third party who can guarantee a gift copy will make it to the fic author (and, preferably, any interested fic fanartists) with author permission.
I will never sell finished typesets. Ever. No negotiations. If you want a typeset I've already made so that you can bind a copy of the fic for yourself, just ask. My own typesets are available for free to anyone who wants them, and I'm happy to share other typesets to trusted parties as long as I have author permission and a guarantee that they will not be monetized once the typesets leave my hands.
The books and typesets that do end up on my store will always be 1) copies of my own fics; 2) priced free/as low as possible with a "pay what you want" option. I will never put binds of someone else's fics on my store. I will never list a bind of my own for sale that is not also (again) accompanied by a free typeset. This is to ensure that no aspect of the fanwork is behind a paywall (including other artists' fanart) and any money exchanged is exclusively for the physical art of binding.
I have a deep, lifelong love for books. As a librarian, my entire life (both personally and professionally) revolves around free and no-profit access to knowledge and stories. I can't speak for others (especially the assholes on Etsy), but I did not begin binding fanworks with the intent to profit and that still holds true. I have the utmost respect for fic authors as both a fan and a fellow fanwriter, and I'm wildly disappointed that a few bad actors have put such a negative spotlight on a corner of fanart that has always been fundamentally about uplifting and supporting fanfiction and fanwriting at its heart.
Anyway, thanks for reading!

Hello again, everyone...
Just a few small notes before we begin--first, it would seem that Tumblr slightly updated its tagging system in that we can no longer make a list of people in one big block, so from now on, I'll have to start adding people in little rows of 5 so that this site doesn't end up not alerting anybody.
Second, in case only a few people saw the announcement, @vaporglaive is hoping to go to Dragoncon next year, but in order to get there, they just might need some help getting commissions as far as creating artwork goes. So! If you're interested, please check out the link below:
And now...so I don't spend too much time off-topic, here are my picks for this week, and I hope that you'll like and reblog them like you would any other artist/writer. Thanks in advance!
The Bad Batch Fanart
Tech and Phee by @bri75672
Crosshair goes to 79's by @doodlingfoolishness
Phee Genoa by @im-yotsu

Luke <3 by @aveliney
The Tinies by @silvereddaye
The Original Trilogy Fanfiction
Patchwork by @jedi-order-apologist
Other Star Wars Fanworks
Fulcrum by @frumpybutsupersmart
And so, in order to support all our writers and artists, please check out the links I included above, like, comment, and reblog as you would with anyone else.
Please also like and reblog this latest installment so that these links can be spread around to as many other fans as possible, just in case not all of them can tune in at the same time. Thank you, good morning, and good luck.

Greetings again!!
Thank you very much for the tutorial on adoptables, I understood everything perfectly and I'm already putting it into practice >:3
If you don't mind I have another question on the same topic, but this time related to the sales process...
After finishing the character reference(s), what should I do? Is it like selling a drawing already done? Is it necessary to make any modifications? Is there anything special that needs to be done??
Thank you in advance for your time and patience, hoping that this is not a bother. I wish you a beautiful day, week and month...!!
This isn't a bother at all! I'm genuinely happy about these asks KSDFGBHDKFGH BUT!!
After finishing a character reference/design/adopt It pretty much is! You're selling both your artwork AND your character design.
You can modify it however you want, but it's not necessary! but DO remember to watermark your art, and I can always give a few watermarking ideas if thats something you guys are interested in! ^^ But once you're done just remember to mention what type of payment you're taking, and how people should contact you! ex: paypal only/ DMS only
Also! pricing can either match the amount of work you put in/you are most comfortable at, or slightly match your personal rent necessities.
for example, my commissions match my personal bill necessities, so when they will open up in VGEN, they will be priced accordingly! To find out what that would look like for you:
take the max amount of people you are willing to take in a commission (lets say you can have up to 10 people in a waitlist) divided by your rent!
so 10÷your rent = Your minimum amount you should make per comm, or at least near it if possible!
It can either be a set price (lets say $45) or it can be up for bid, its up to you! It also helps the buyer to know the AB(auto buy) price when you are doing a bid!
And lastly, Don't ever let anyone tell you your art isn't worth the high prices. So long as you're pricing fairly and accordingly, you're doing just fine!

prompt: arkham knight penguin and a f!reader's relationship is already on thin ice when things finally come to an explosive end. Can Oswald mend the relationship or was it always doomed to end this way?
a/n: phew!! finally after a weird anxious busy hectic couple of weeks I finally finished my other commission! It was interesting to get a commission for one of the pengys this time around! As always thanks so much again to the anonymous user that commissioned me and to anyone that commissions me. I'm still wrapping my head around the idea of people genuinely paying me to write about my favorite characters, it's so mind-boggling to me lol
Content Warning: angst, relationship conflict (arguing, fighting, break up/makeup), and strong language.

Arkham Knight Penguin x F!Reader - Come Back to Me
Oswald had his hands caged around his head as he leaned his elbows against his desk.
A corded phone was rendered cordless along with its receiver after being beaten and thrown across the room.
The fire burning on the end of his cigar was nothing compared to the fiery rage consuming his entire body.
Before the phone was put out of commission. The last bit he heard was his men getting their asses beat and the undeniable sound of an explosion.
There goes another fucking weapons cache. All thanks to the bloody Dark Knight and his lackey Nightwing–
Oswald’s grip tightened on his bald scalp. His teeth almost biting the nicotine stick in two in agitation.
Sooner or later the old Dynamic Duo will be coming straight for him.
Oswald began mapping out a game plan. Secure the last of the caches, finalize the two ongoing deals and begin making tracks to different locations for the remaining caches…
~
All the while, you were making your way to his office.
As you walked down the long hallway, you tried to stay the course and not turn around.
You’ve been working up the courage to go see Oswald, constantly conflicting with yourself to just leave him be or make something…anything happen.
To say you have felt neglected lately was an understatement.
Many date nights were canceled, phone calls gone ignored, dinners you made went cold…
You knew he was a busy man…and you knew what he did for a living is dangerous.
You stopped just a few feet before his office door.
Maybe you were just being selfish and dramatic. You have heard rumors of Oswald’s weapons business being under attack by Batman.
Batman, Batman, Batman…you groaned in frustration. Batman was always an issue.
Sometimes it seemed Oswald paid more attention to him than you.
Granted, Batman was a threat to your partner’s business and Oswald was more than likely just as annoyed with Batman as you are. Still if you could just get a fraction of that attention from Oswald.
You sighed. No, you deserved better than this.
You shouldn’t be waiting for weeks, almost months for someone you loved but they haven’t shown a fraction of that love in return. To put in all this effort and be ignored.
You weren’t asking for much, just for him to be there! Call you back, come see you, or at least tell you that he loved you.
You shuddered when you realized you could not remember the last time he told you that he loved you.
You instantly shook your head. Adamant to get the depressing thought out of your head. You were not going to cry when you confronted him.
You were going to make one more effort. Ask him to come back to the penthouse for dinner, another dinner you made, and hope it can be the start back in the right direction.
After taking in another determined sigh. You quickly walked across the remaining tiled floor to the front of his office door.
You knocked on the door–
“Oh for fuck’s sake! Piss off will ya! I’m tryin’ to work!”
You could feel your eye ducts get heavy and your lips quivered.
No, you weren’t going to cry. He likely just thought you were just one of his incompetent henchmen.
“Oz…it’s me.” You said softly but clearly enough to be heard as you opened the door.
Oswald lifted his head out of his hands in an instant. Even hopped off his chair and made his way around his desk to greet you.
“Oh-uh..sorry, love. Look–now is really not a good time.”
“Oswald, I just wanted to ask–”
Oswald shook his head and waved his hand dismissively at you. “Fucks’ sake, can’t we discuss this later-”
“No! Ozzie, please! Let me speak!”
His eyes widened slightly as his brows raised, before he furrowed them again in agitation.
“All right then! What the hell is so bloody important? I just lost another cache to that gobshite Dark Knight–but no, no, fuck me–”
You were distraught on your way to talk to him, but now that you are there. Oz spewed his venomous disregard for what you have to say–
You were furious now. You came to discuss the possibility of mending your relationship over dinner…but with your blood boiling from the way he yelled at you.
It didn’t matter anymore. You didn’t deserve this, you have done all you could.
If he was just going to dismiss or berate you at your last attempt to salvage your relationship.
Maybe it wasn’t worth saving anyway.
“I’m done, Oswald.” You tried to turn around and leave it at that, but your feet seemed to be cemented to the floorboards.
“Bloody hell is that s’pose to mean?” Oz barked as he walked closer to you.
You gulped down the nervous lump that was building up in your throat. “I’m leaving. I’m packing my things and leaving.”
Maybe if you say enough times you can convince yourself of actually committing to it later.
Oswald huffed and puffed as he paced in front of you. “Well, well, that’s just fuckin’ swell. Put salt in my fuckin’ wounds why don’tcha!”
“I’ve tried to reach out! Make plans! Come see you!” You defended. “But you keep ignoring me! Brushing me off like you were doing just now!”
Oswald rubbed his bandaged hand against his face. Frustrated, exhausted, and at his wits’ end.
He thought you understood, that you would understand the stakes involved and how certain things have to take priority.
After several years together, he thought you got it. That you were the one for him.
Clearly, he was mistaken.
“Love, I told you from day one what it’ll be like, why is it causing issues, now?”
You spread your arms out in exasperation. “Because you made an effort until now!”
You continued. “You at least answered my calls! You may not be there when I go to bed, but at least you kissed me goodbye! And I haven’t heard you say I love you in a very, very long time.”
You hung your head and began rubbing the side of your arm with your hand. “I could at least count on that…I could rely on that to know you still cared…still loved me. But lately now, I-I don’t know.”
Oswald sighed. His head was pounding, his blood pressure, no doubt, skyrocketed.
Today was really not his day.
“I don’t know what to tell ya, love. Business has been going down the shitter! Cause of that Bat-fuck! The very business payin’ for your home you want to just up and abandon, mind you. I’m so sorry that I’m too preoccupied with work, trying to make money to keep us a-fucking-float!”
“It’s not that I’m ungrateful Oswald–”
“Sure sounds bloody like it!”
You grit your teeth. Your grip on your arm tightening. “It’s not that! I just miss you! I want to be with you more! Isn’t that what you’d expect from someone that loves you?”
Somehow your feet got lose from the floor and you began taking steps backwards toward the door.
Whatever confidence and hope you had to mend this relationship was slowly dwindling.
“I just came here to talk, to see you, I missed you…but now I’m wondering why I even bothered.”
“I’m starting’ to think the same.” Oswald grumbled, completely checking out of the argument.
“Fine. Then I won’t be a bother to you anymore.” You swallowed.
“Fine! The sooner you leave, the sooner I can GET BACK TO FUCKING WORK!” Oswald growled as he raised his arms up in defeat, before turning around to go back to his desk.
When he had his back turned, you took the chance to also dart out the door.
Before the tears finally poured over your eye ducts and you began hiccuping on your own breathing.
It wasn’t until the elevator door finally shut that you collapsed.
Your knees buckled before they hit the hard tile floor. Your hands going up to your face trying to dry up your fountain of tears.
Even though a weight of uncertainty had been lifted. It felt like a ton of stone pillars just filled your heart causing it to crack in two under the pressure.
The only thing to pull you from your sobbing is the ding signaling that you arrived at the first floor.
You quickly stood up and began wiping the tears off your cheek. You didn’t want any of Oswald’s lackeys to see you in this upset state.
Thankfully, when the metal doors slid open no one was there.
You continued to try and mask the fact you had been crying as you called a cab to head to the luxurious penthouse apartment you shared with oswald.
At least…you used to share with Oswald.
Your body seemed to be running on autopilot as you went through the motions of packing your belongings.
Meanwhile your mind was still reeling over the outcome of the argument.
You kept replaying it in your head. Looking for any sign that it could have ended better…yet deep down a part of you knew that this was the only way it could end.
As some last caring gesture or just a habit instilled in you to never waste food…you opted to stick the food you cooked in the fridge. Whatever appetite you had was long gone.
You called up a friend that lived on the outskirts of the city.
The constant bright lights made your head ache and you don’t know if you could stand to see Oswald again if he tried to come to the apartment.
Five years down the drain and not an inkling of a clue of what the future has in store.
~
Oswald crushed another cigar into the small hill of burnt out cigar butts. The hill grew so tall that it was overflowing past the rim of the ash tray.
It had been two weeks since Batman’s last assault on his weapons cache. The Penguin had been making fast strides to close current deals and get the remaining inventory moving.
A part of him hoped that the business would keep him occupied…distracted from the falling out you two had.
It did work for a moment. He even fooled himself to think that it’s what he needed.
The Penguin didn’t need a girlfriend. Someone to wear him down, get in the way of his business endeavors.
He laughed himself silly over several glasses of wine. What the fuck was he actually thinking?
He supposed it was fun while it lasted.
The Penguin was on to greener pastures now, especially while he was ahead of The Bat.
At least that’s what he told himself some time last week.
In the second week, Oswald Cobblepot would nearly jump out of his seat when the phone would ring.
Silently, he hoped it was you on the other line. He hoped you would reach out to consider getting back together.
Yet, it was never you, usually just another henchman with an update.
Which is fine…he figured. Everything was right as rain.
Oswald leaned back in his plush office chair as he sighed out the last of his smoke.
Now would have been a good evening to pick you up and treat you for a night on the town.
There was a restaurant in between one of his main warehouses and the penthouse that you two frequently patroned.
He always ordered for you, because no matter where the two of you went he always remembered what you wanted.
Oz liked to show off that quality, that he could read your mind–that he knew you enough to be able to get you anything without the uttering of a word from you.
All he ever wanted in return was to see your bright enchanting smile. To see your eyes crinkle when you smile wide. Your eyes would twinkle with love and amusement.
For the first time in a long time, Oswald found a small semblance of a lop-sided smirk form on his face.
Oswald reached across his desk for another cigar but cursed when he found the pack empty.
He rocked back and forth on his chair. For once unsure of what to do. It was like he couldn’t think clearly.
Oswald should be celebrating, taking it easy. He’s managed to get his empire under control.
However, he was in no mood to celebrate. Oswald was more aggravated than anything.
Aggravated that he couldn't seem to move on. You left him and you weren’t there. He was frustrated that no matter how hard he tried to deny it…he missed and needed you.
Oswald sighed exhausted over the mental gymnastics going on in his head. Now that he finally came to terms with his emotions…just what was he going to do about them?
The Penguin was nothing if not tenacious, especially when it was something, or in this case, someone he wanted.
~
You were picking at some take-out you grabbed on your way home from work.
You got a job through your friend, and thankfully you had some money saved for an extended-stay hotel room until you can afford a proper apartment.
Not that you didn’t mind bunking with your friend, but you just really needed your own space.
You couldn’t believe it had already been two weeks since you left Oswald.
A heavy weight still hung on your heart but you couldn’t deny the solace of having your mind clear of your anxieties, that had been brewing the last few months you were with Oswald.
No longer were you drained from effort that went unappreciated. You didn’t have to sit there twiddling your thumbs wondering if the man you loved even loved you back.
As you got up to throw away your trash, you couldn’t help but wonder what Oz was up to now.
The phone rang on your dresser. You perked your eyebrow, confused to what the hotel could want.
You picked up the phone. “Hello?”
A man asked for your name.
“Y-Yeah, this is her…what do you need?”
You could hear an audible gulp from the man on the other end.
“Y-You have a visitor…a-uh-Mr. Cobblepot…he would like to see you-”
You pinched the bridge of your nose as you sighed.
A part of you really didn’t want to bother with him…he never heard you out so why should you?
Another part of you couldn’t deny your curiosity though…plus you felt bad for the guy at the front desk that was one more demand away from pissing his pants.
“Tell him I’ll be right down. And don’t worry nothing is going to happen to you.”
“T-Thank you, miss.”
The phone clicked back onto its base and you went to get ready to meet your ex.
~
The car ride to wherever you two were going was stifling.
Oswald kept fidgeting in the seat next to you and you kept waiting for him to say something.
“Thanks, love…for coming along.” He finally spoke, in a soft voice you haven’t heard in a long time.
“Don’t thank me yet, you’re lucky you scared the shit out of the concierge, I felt bad. The only reason I’m going through with it.”
“Is it really the only reason?”
You stayed silent.
Oswald sighed. “Look, love…I-shit-I don’t know what the fuck to say…I know sorry is no good.”
“You’re right there.” You scoffed.
“But, just, I-I wanted–needed to see you…all I’m asking is to be with you for tonight.”
“Why did you need to see me? Got bored with the ladies from the Iceberg? Things were going fine for me until you showed up!”
That wasn’t necessarily true, but you were trying to prove a point…to be as mad as he got at you when you two fought.
To ward off the small ball of excitement at the bottom of your chest that was happy to be in the same space as him.
Oswald sighed heavily. He mulled over his words in his head before deciding the truth will likely be the best option.
"I'm sorry for disturbing your night, love. Let me make it up to ya…just for tonight. And if not, I'll turn this car around and leave you be…"
Oswald's knuckles almost matched the white of his gloves as he held his umbrella with a vice grip. He wasn't exactly ready to give quite an ultimatum just yet, but he wanted this to be fair for you and if you truly were doing fine without him.
It would be a tough pill to swallow, but he will swallow it.
You sighed. You were already here…and while you tell yourself you just want to be the bigger person and hear him out–Deep down, once again, you knew that you really did miss him.
However, you weren't going to admit that right away.
"Well, I'm already here aren't I?" You sat up straight in your seat.
Oswald nodded. "That you are, love. And you won't regret it."
After a few minutes of thick heavy silence the car finally pulled to a stop.
Before you could even ask where you were, Oz had already gotten out of the car and limped over to your side to open the door.
"Where did you take me?" You asked as you stepped out of the car and stood beside him.
"Just an old trip down memory lane." Oz smiled as he looked up at you.
He offered you a gloved hand before you two crossed the street.
Your hand already reached out and took it before you could even try to put up a front. You blame it on your body just doing what came naturally and out of instinct.
As you two approached the restaurant you couldn't help but warmly chuckle at the establishment sign.
"I'm surprised this place is still open." You murmured.
Oz chuckled. "You and I both."
The moment between sitting down and ordering drinks became a blur as the haze-like shift between reality and memory merged.
All the date nights to this exact restaurant and the exact seat, in fact this was the location of your first date with him.
Funny, back then you were kind of humoring him as you are now. No way back then you could have known that one night would lead to countless others with him.
You propped your head up by cupping your chin into the palms of your hands. You tried to look anywhere but the pair of eyes staring at you.
“Oz…”
“Hmm…?”
“You’re staring…” You pointed out.
“Can you blame me? I haven’t seen you in awhile.”
“You rarely saw me anyway.” You crossed your arms.
“Look love, I-I want to talk….Properly this time…like I should have let you done before.”
That made you perk up your head. At least it was a step in the right direction.
You sighed as you collected your thoughts.
Before you could talk, Oswald spoke up. “I know it won’t do much now, love, but I do apologize. I-I just didn’t want ya to see me failing, and it was looking grim. I just–I didn’t want ya to worry about anything…then, poor thing, you walked straight into the bloody thick of it.”
You nodded with a tight smile looking back at that tense moment in his office.
“I brushed you off, I tried to get you to leave because I didn’t have an excuse ready to give you…because that’s all I’ve ever done, and it was foolish of me to think they’d keep workin’ as is.”
“It was the same old excuse. ‘You were busy’, ‘I don’t need to worry’, ‘I shouldn’t worry’…but Oz me not knowing made me worry even more. Had you just been honest and told me what was going on–I would understand…” You interjected.
“I know, the one thing I adore most about you and I somehow, over time, completely underestimated it. Your level of compassion even to a sorry piece of shite like me. Somewhere somehow over time I made the terrible mistake of muddling you with the others. Others that wanted something outta me…weapons, money, notoriety…”
“I only ever wanted you, Oswald.”
“And I want you, love.”
Oswald put out his calloused hand palm out towards you on top of the table.
“I’m by no means a perfect man, never claimed to be. But I swear, to you and for you, I’ll do better by you. No more excuses, delayed or canceled plans, if I do it’s cause I’m on my deathbed.”
You scoffed at that, but stared intently at his open palm, as you deliberated what you already knew he was going to say.
“Come back to me love…it doesn’t have to be tonight or tomorrow, just…to know we’re not over…not just yet.” His fingers curled slightly as if to coax your own hand to hold his.
Meanwhile you were wringing your hands in your lap under the table. Your throat was parched and you kept blinking rapidly, as if hot wiring your brain to come up with an answer.
You didn’t want to say yes right away, while he identified the problems and spoke about doing better…it didn’t exactly mean it was going to happen just like that. In fact, you knew it wasn’t going to.
Then another part of you, the part that loved him and missed him wanted to give in and just worry about what would happen later.
Perhaps there was a way to meet him in the middle of the road.
You were so lost in your own thoughts you didn’t even notice Oswald talking to the waiter and ordering your food for the both of you.
“Why do you do that?” You asked, suddenly very curious.
“What’s that, love?”
“You always order for me.”
Oz chuckled as he decided to turn his palm towards the table, but still open to your touch. “I enjoy spoilin’ ya, love…and although I don’t always seem like it but I pay attention…especially if it means things that you enjoy.”
Then he began listing off your favorite, granted trivial, but sentimental things. Your favorite songs, foods, time of day, weather, all sorts. Things that you imagine have probably changed from time to time but he somehow remembered.
“And yet, through all that, I somehow sabotaged the easiest thing that brought you more joy than anything.” He continued.
You nodded. “Just to be with you…”
Oswald nodded too in agreement.
A small smile grew on your face as an answer that would suit the both of you for the time being came to the forefront of your mind.
You reached out your hand and placed it gently on top of his.
“I’ll come back, but not in a hurry. I want us to do this right. I don’t want it to ever get to where it did again.”
Oswald sat up in his seat and put his hand over yours. “I agree, love. Whatever it takes to get you to come back, I’ll do it.”
“Even if it means starting over? Little by little?”
Oz guffawed. “The chance to fall in love with you all over again? I wouldn’t miss that for anything.”
Your smile widened. “That’s one way to look at it. I guess I can’t argue with that.”
You two pulled your hands apart when your dishes arrived. For once you genuinely felt content in the moment.
Pleased in the decision to slowly work back up to what you had before and hopefully make it even stronger than it was.
You felt that familiar feeling of hopefulness for the future. You weren’t walking around half-hazardly in the dark trying to collect pieces of what once was or what can be with what remained.
You had a new clean slate, even with pre-used material, you were still determined to produce something new and everlasting.
Oz chuckled warmly at you. “I missed that.”
“What?”
“Your smile.”
You lowered your head at a poor attempt to hide your flushing face. This only caused Oswald to chuckle some more.
Oswald grabbed his glass and raised it up towards you. “To us, anew, starting with tonight.”
“To us, tonight.” You smiled as you clinked your glass to Oswald’s.

Ranking the Miracucast by how willing they are to attempt bingewatching the entirety of One Piece in one sitting.
(Disclaimer do not actually attempt this unless you have zero regard for your health)
Marinette: She wanted to when she heard Adrien was going to be there. So she's willing. But she just doesn't have the TIME. Between school and heroics and helping out at the shop and commissions and literally everything else ever, watching One Piece in one go doesn't have a chance of ever happening. 3/10
Alya: She and Nino are the ones who set up the bingewatch party, but a reporter's work is never done so she just kind of has it on in the background while she works on her latest post. It's on continuously, but she's definitely not there for all of it. 5/10
Adrien: Yes. 10/10
Nino: See Alya, except he actually tries to watch it because he wants to ensure all his friends are having a good time. Of course, the group lasted about a day before they gave up, but the attempt was there. 6/10
Chloe: Two options: she thinks the whole idea is ridiculous and isn't watching (0/10) OR she thinks the whole idea is ridiculous but also wanted to join Adrien. She makes the mistake of watching a few episodes and now she's INVESTED (8/10). Could go either way. 4/10 on average.
Sabrina: This girl watches so much anime in her downtime. Look at her. You know it's true. She would never tell Chloe, but after the great Boss/Minion Breakup of Season 5 Sabrina has all the time in the world and she is using it to watch One Piece. 8/10
Mylene: Thinks the show is charming but not all that interesting to her. But can bingewatch it with Ivan and cuddle up against his giant teddy bear body while basically ignoring the show and that's fine with her. 4/10
Ivan, Rose, Juleka, and Luka: Kitty Section as a whole loves this show to bits and when they all realized they had a two-week vacation they knew what they would be doing. Anarka basically had to host a One Piece summer camp on the Liberty for the six of them (including Adrien as part of the band, and Mylene as Ivan's +1), and they slept in shifts to ensure that they didn't have to stop the show. It was a whole fiasco. They will never do anything like this ever again. They returned to school tired and sore and in agonizing pain. Luka's hands are in excruciating pain because he just HAD to play along with the sheer emotion of the show, Ivan accidentally passed out and crushed his desk, and Adrien's modeling shoots had to be postponed until he could fix his posture after sitting so long. Even Juleka looked tired, and she never looks tired. Mylene was fine because she basically slept though most of it, but Rose is somehow still bursting with energy. "We should do that again sometime! That was really fun!" Cue a chorus of groans. 11/10
Kim: I'm not sure if Kim knows what anime is. Like, I want to say he knows, but at the same time, does he really? I genuinely have no clue. Can someone please help me here? The mind of Kim is a mind I don't think anyone can truly decipher. ?/10
Max: He has done the math. He knows how long it would take. He's not suicidal. But he does like the show, and will make token appearances at his friends' watch parties. 2/10
Alix: Sorry Alix, this is not a situation you can cheat your way through using time travel. No, Alix, having each episode open on a different viewing port playing simultaneously does not count. No points for you. -Alix/10
Nathaniel: Tried to get Marc to do it. Marc thankfully talked him out of it. Nath still dreams of doing it one day. 4/10, potential to eventually reach 9/10 if he can wear Marc down.
Lila: Says she's done it. But the entirety of Kitty Section knows she's lying. That kind of thing leaves a mark on people. 0/10
Kagami: Adrien told her where he learned most of his Japanese vocabulary from and she just facepalmed. And then sat down to watch it with him. She'd definitely not watching all of it, but she'll enjoy some in her free time? 5/10
Marc: He can see the hunger in Nathaniel's eyes. He can feel it emanating. The One Piece fan in Nath wants to come out and stay out. Marc will not let it. He will hold the line. He will never give up, never surrender. But he can feel the power, clawing at his brain. The secret feelings, deep down. "Don't you want to see if you COULD do it?" He shoves those thoughts deeper. Nathaniel can never know. Must never know. Because then the battle will be lost. 1/10
Ondine: Actually knows what anime is, and probably has the physical fortitude to make it through a One Piece marathon with minimal physical backlash. Unfortunately her actually doing that would be dependent on Kim (see above) so I hope you understand why this ranking isn't a certain as I would like. 7/10
Aurore: Not on your life. 0/10
Felix: He would never marathon the whole thing himself, but he did provide Adrien and the rest of Kitty Section with their sleep schedule for their marathon. 2/10
Zoe: She has dreamed of marathoning an anime her entire life, and now she has friends to marathon anime with! But she's not doing One Piece. That would be an absolute nightmare, only insane people try to marathon all of One Piece. Instead she has Plans. One Piece is cool tho. 4/10

My official commissions post
So I’ve been unemployed for over a year now. I got laid off from my PR writing job because “the intern and ai can do the same job cheaper” apparently. Anyways, I’m starting to save up for top surgery sometime next year (my consultation is in 2 weeks!!) and the money I get watching my nephews 3 days a week is not enough for that. So, come and sample my wares
1. Tapestry Blankets
Tumblr media
I posted this a few days ago and some people seemed interested in the style. I have multiple patterns for the center tapestry picture as well as the boarder patterns. This one took me about 30 hours, so that’s what I’m going to base my price on.
PRICE: $300+materials+shipping
2. Tapestry
Tumblr media
There are two different styles of crochet that I can use for these: Tunisian crochet and regular single crochet. The snoopy is tunesian crochet. Ignore how curly he is lol. My partner didn’t want to wait for him to be blocked.
If you have a grid pattern that you’d like, you can get that. Or I have a variety that I can search through. These ones are gonna be priced based on size and which technique.
PRICE:
Small (up to 12 inches width and length)
Tunisian: $45 Regular: $30
Large (13 inches to 24 inches tall width and length)
Tunisian: $100 Regular: $65
3. Stuffed D&D dice
Tumblr media
I only have a few that I can picture, but I can make a full set of d and d dice or individual d20s. Colors can be customized as you like, and if you want to help me bust my stash and use the yarn I already have, we can discuss a price reduction.
PRICE:
Full set: $100 d20: $45
I have a few more options that I’ll add when I can get some good pics. And some premade things if anyone is interested. My dms are open if anyone wants to discuss. I also might reopen writing comissions but I’m not sure and would have to update rates because I have degrees now lol. Not sure. Anyways, thanks for sitting through my post! My Venmo is https://venmo.com/u/Jenny-Robinson-61 if you wanna help pad out the top surgery fund. I’d also be willing to make things not listed above. If there’s something you want that’s not up there, message me and we can work something out. Thanks again!

How come you finished welcome home commissions before other commissions?
Sorry to be kind of rude but a friend of mine commissioned something a while before you started posting about Welcome Home and it’s understandable that you are busy but the welcome home commissions were likely commissioned after you started posting about it so I don’t know why you did them first.
I already know I’m gonna sound like an ass for a moment but here we go-
Firstly this can be taken up privately by your friend if they’re concerned. I also don’t particularly appreciate this in my inbox but to answer, it’s just whatever I can get through quickest. My oldest of the ones sitting are from much longer ago than anything anyone in Tumblr has commissioned me for and I’m finishing those tomorrow (they’re from Twitter and Instagram respectively and I dedicated my entire last Saturday to them alone). Those two have been quite kind and expressed their concerns about turnaround themselves if need be
Anything that’s particularly fun and interesting gets done quicker and keeps space open when others are a bit stuck when I need a quick slot filled like last week to cover an expense, for example. Scraping by on harder/less interesting commissions slows things down
Truly, it’s not that I don’t like some commissions, they’re just harder to sit and focus on
Additionally, my time management has been awful this year because of several points of uncertainty about getting a job, a couple scares on my living situation, and not having a clear window of time consistently to know when to work on things that have been sitting (and of course, burnout is always an issue). It’s easy to find time to just. Scribble and doodle, maybe do a piece for myself, but getting actual work done is a little more difficult. I’ve discovered preclaimed adopts and taking up so many commissions in May last minute wasas a bad choice so I’m still quite literally 15 commissions in the hole to finish on top of your friend’s commission. So making sure that isn’t gonna happen again is all I can do, at the moment. I’ve been chipping away at em in little bits of free time as best I can, reorganizing my canvases, getting a good idea of what’ll be finished first and last, etc etc I’ve actually been quite productive for the last week or so
If your friend is upset they need to tell me. They’re the client, and the content doesn’t concern you directly if you haven’t commissioned me and are waiting. If they’d like a refund because the turnaround is too long, that’s for them to communicate with me and I’m happy to provide a refund. I’m not always gonna be the best artist for the job if you want quick work and that’s fine. I’ve refunded MUCH larger pieces before for that reason. Clients may check in at any time whether I’ve got progress to show for the time or not. And oftentimes I don’t! Sometimes it’s days or a couple-few weeks before I can get progress to people, it just happens and I’ve been working on making sure it doesn’t keep happening so I don’t have to make people expect to wait so long before they hear from me. Trust me, it’s always a bit disappointing when I can’t show anything
And now that I’m working as well, my ability to finish those things just depends on what days I get to myself during the week and atm thats 3 days this week so those 3 days are dedicated to downtime and paid commission work. Which quite frankly, is a bit exhausting. Fun puppet characters and scaly dragons and whatnot are fun and rewarding and I’m clearing my queue while doing something I’m enjoying and that gets me to the older stuff much faster
I’m very sorry the turnaround estimate was more than a little off and it’ll be tweaked for better preparation in the future. I’m also sorry if they’ve asked and I didn’t respond quickly or have sounded dismissive. Hell, some clients pester and pester and that certainly makes doing work for them unenjoyable. I think about these commissions every single day and how I can approach them so I can finish them by sometime in July

Hi everyone, I know everyone is going through some pretty severe times right now, but recently I’ve found myself in a rough predicament. A week ago I suffered a pretty severe fall, where I fell 20ft off an overpass. It was really dark, raining pretty hard, and there were no traffic lights where I was at. I could barley see in front of me and I didn’t have on my glasses because they were useless at the time. I was walking home.
Because of the fall I hurt my back and chest pretty bad and I wasn’t able to move myself much when I was first admitted. I also broke my heel which resulted in surgery. Between the EMT’s finding me, the ambulance ride to the hospital, and being admitted it was extremely disorienting, scary, and frustrating.
Due to the surgery I will be out of work for a minimum of three months but probably more. I am unable to put weight on my foot for those three months and even after that it will be very hard - if you’ve ever broken a bone before you know it’s no joke. And if you live in the US, you also know what a rip-off our healthcare system is. I had not even reached my own outrageous deductible before this occurred and I’m not even sure what my insurance is even going to cover after that. I will also have to pay for physical therapy and on top of everything, I just got a notice for my rent going above 1k - which is extremely outrageous where I live.
I am also being moved into a psychiatric facility under the false assumptions that a jumped off the overpass. Despite that there was no evidence before or after the incident that supports this assumption. I have tried time and time again to prove how unfair this is to me to no avail. While being in the hospital on suicide watch, they confiscated all my belongings (despite that I could barley move in the bed due to how much pain I was in) and have since lost my wallet, keys, shoes during this time.
I have some money saved up in an account and enough paid time off to late me a month but I know it’s not going to be enough to sustain me being out of work.
I have spent so much of my life doing for others. Helping them, making things for them and doing for them all because I care about them and like to make them happy. I don’t regret any of it - it is truly one of the few things that bring me joy in this world, but now I need to ask for some help.
I’ve been on this site for a long time making gifs. I also do lots of crafts, like modifying jackets, making buttons, and painting. I write fanfiction and have made some fan videos over on YouTube. I plan to do some jackets and painting to try and cultivate a source of income while I am not working, but I am worried it won’t be enough.
I am willing to do commissions for stories and videos if anyone in interested. (But please keep it literally within my capabilities, I know it’s so limited but I’d be willing to go to the depths of hell if someone would pay me for it). I am also open to gifset requests. And I would be open to selling some of my art on here.
I have also set up a ko-fi for small donations and here is a link to my PayPal.
I know everyone hates these kinds of posts and there are A LOT of people in A LOT worse situations than my own. But I would literally be so appreciative of any support anyone is willing to give.
If you have any questions, comments or concerns/want to know more about my fall - please feel free to ask me. Thank you all for listening and those who have been supportive thus far.
Here is some of the work I’ve done:
