DO YOU THINK CHILDHOOD OR ADULTHOOD IS HARDER? WHY?

I would love to hear some thoughts on this one. In my opinion though I would honestly say childhood is always going to be harder. Some of you might disagree but this is why I have brought the Discussion to the table! I would have to say I think childhood is harder to the fact children are held to higher standards then adults. They are not allowed to feel how they want to. Say what they mean. React in the way someone wants them to. For the most part children are not allowed to think, speak, or feel without an adult telling them or demanding them to do such. Do any of yall remember being told 'Children are to be seen and not heard', or 'Do as I say, Not as I do'. HA here is my favorite one 'What you crying for, you aint got no reason to be crying. Now stop before I give you a reason'. There is no way in hell a childhood is easier. The amount of effort it takes to make friends, the trends etc. Kids here the worst things from adults and are suppose to take it. All in all Childhood is by far in my opinion worse and that is why you see so many children forgotten and dead in the system. Anyways what a hell of a way to make a first post on here. idk if anyone else felt this way, but in the Shapeshifter ep of Dungeon Meshi, it's treated like a joke that all the copies of Laios are super obviously not him, but isn't it kind of fucked up that Laios's closest companions don't seem to view him as... whole?

None of his companions had an accurate view of him as a person! One of the copies was a stupid, drooling mess! And on top of this, they all believed that because Laios struggles with social cues he wouldn't be observant to them as people. They just... fundamentally don't understand him.

I think the really accurate copies of the rest of the party was drawn from Laios's mind. His powers of observation and analytics are his strength, but that's not the same as being good with social cues.

Anyway. It made me really sad. I know his party cares about him, but it's so isolating to know your friends don't know you.

Like. Autism doesn't come with an automatic love of hearing anyone infodump about anything they love. In fact sometimes it comes with the opposite. Sometimes restricted interests are in fact restrictive enough to make anything else boring. Sometimes it's just hard to process that much speech. Doesn't mean we get to be unkind about it either but yeah. This fantasy people push of autistics having endless energy and appreciation for each other's special interests is just not realistic.

[Transcript: Please don't scroll if you want to help a family in Gaza. Hey everyone, this is Haya Orouq, I am 18 years old from Gaza City. Today is the 167th day of the war in Gaza City. And through this war we lost our house, my university was bombed. My whole childhood neighborhood area was completely damaged. We have been displaced to three different places in search of a safer place but unfortunately there's no safer place in Gaza. Everywhere there's bombing, everywhere is dangerous, so we are now displaced in Deir al-Balah. And me and my family lost everything, we have nothing left here in Gaza.

And my mom is very sick also, she is suffering from Lupus and because she has Lupus, she is a kidney failure patient in need of an urgent treatment and care outside of Gaza. The hospitals here is so poor and bad and the quality of her treatment is getting worse and worse because the quality of the hospitals is bad, because of the conditions of the war. So please guys, help my family, we deserve to- we deserve a decent life, we deserve to start a new beginning and deserve a new life.
