H-29 Menuju 26

After I thought deeply today. I chose to post this. Not to expose my 'sad story', but I'm posting it to remind myself in case there's a moment where 'I'm trying to be strong beyond my limits'.

Tidak bisa dipungkiri, isinya lebih kayak ngedumel sendiri. Jujur ini aku nge-recordnya on the spot, pas lagi ke-trigger sama sesuatu.

Di keluargaku, aku adalah anak pertama dari tiga bersaudara. Pada audio ini, aku bicara tentang bagaimana menjadi anak pertama di keluarga ini. Juga 'pov' yang aku bayangkan dari sudut pandang anak tengah, dan juga anak terakhir.

Cuma, ga bisa dihindari.. mungkin aku terdengar lebih memihak ke anak tengah saat bercerita. Karena posisinya, aku lagi kesal dengan si anak terakhir yang membuat ulah di rumah.

Rangkuman dari edisi H-29 ini, lebih ke ngomongin tentang setiap anak punya struggle-nya masing-masing. Yha, kalau diingat-ingat saat masih anak-anak dulu, aku itu kakak yang egois banget sih wkwkw. Maunya menang sendiri.

Tapi seiring waktu tumbuh dewasa, aku jadi makin mengenal tentang konsep 'lu itu bukan pusat dari seluruh dunia'. Intinya yaa, jangan merasa semua hal itu cuma centering ke diri sendiri sih.

Sebelum dicap jadi anak durhaka, setelah kalian dengerin sampai closing... saat ngerekam ini, aku mungkin sedang emosi. Terlarut begitu saja dengan perasaan yang saat itu kualami.

Tapi ada sedikit poin sih yang kudapat. Jika nanti sudah berkeluarga, keputusan punya berapa anak itu ternyata penting. Karena, dalam beberapa kondisi tertentu.. ketika lahir anak yang diluar rencana, ada aja imbasnya tersendiri.

Not to mention it as 'ga menerima takdir'.. cuma, apa yang kupelajari dari pengamatanku itu, ketika menjadi orang tua, banyak faktor yang perlu kita persiapkan untuk masa tumbuh dan kembang seorang anak dalam keluarga.

Gizinya, kasih sayang yang ia terima, bagaimana value-value kehidupan di tanamkan sedari dini, dibentuk jadi kebiasaan dan menghasilkan sebuah karakter personal seorang manusia.

Aku ngomong gini, bukan karena sok tahu. Tentu saja, ilmuku masih banyak kurangnya. Aku hanya menyuarakan, gumpalan yang ada di hati dan pikiranku saat ini.

You can tell I’m going through something because I’m really reaffirming that I am a person worth knowing! I grew up not able to look myself in the mirror. I hated everything about me (except my hair). Then I met @_rena.martine_ and went through her program. For me, I wanted self confidence but what I found was self love. I not only look in the mirror but I can easily say “I love you” to myself. Worth every penny. It makes surviving the hard times a little bit easier. 💖 I am wonderfully unique.

H-30 Menuju 26

Kemarin, aku menghabiskan detik-detik pergantian tahun bersama salah satu sahabatku di rumah. Bergelung dengan bantal masing-masing, di atas ranjang kamarku yang usianya melebihi usia kami.

Bertumbuh jadi orang dewasa, yaa begini saja sih. Kami melewati pergantian tahun dengan cara yang biasa saja. Ini pun, bukan sebuah pertemuan spesial yang direncanakan dari jauh-jauh hari. Hanya sebuah hari di mana sahabatku sedang pulang ke kota ini.

Beberapa jam yang kami habiskan, terasa sangat hangat. Jujur ini agak lebay, tapi kemarin tuh aku ngerasa quality time kami warm dan deep banget udah kayak staycation.

And then, I realized that the best memories are not about where they were created. It depends on who you spend that time with.

Kita ngobrolin banyaaak banget hal. Aku merasa ini masuk ke salah satu momen terbaik yang aku habiskan dengan sahabat-sahabatku di tahun 2023 kemarin.

Membagi pikiran-pikiran yang sebelumnya rasanya berat untuk dikeluarkan, rasanya bikin kepala dan hati jadi lebih ringan. Aku merasa bersyukur banget, Allah ngasih aku sahabat-sahabat yang sayang bangett dan support aku :"

Walau kadang si sentimental ini belakangan suka mellow sendiri, karena ngerasa jomblo wkwkw tapi kalo udah kumpul sama salah satu mereka tuh berhasil bikin aku lupa sama rasa sedih itu.

Aku rangkum, 2023 aku itu penuh momen-momen berharga sama temen-temen dekatku. Awal tahun, satu sahabat terdekatku menikah. Trus masuk Februari ditinggal lulus, salah satu kakak di kantor. Maret, ngerasain lagi nangis pas di jalan pulang karena capekk wkwkw. Dan lain-lain~

Bakal kepanjangan sih dibahas satu-satu tiap bulannya di sini xixixi.

Setahun kemarin banyak banget hal yang terjadi bikin nano-nano hati. Bikin aku makin sayang keluargaku (especially my mom), walau sampai saat ini belum bisa mengekspresikannya secara utuh di depan mereka.

I'm really sorry, but I didn't grow up with a sweet way of expressing love to each other. Maybe, you could say… I grew up used to giving myself fully to the people I love. By being present, listening, and appreciating them.

Dannn, jadi paham juga sih tipis-tipis. Kenapa Allah belum 'kasih aku ketemu' sama mas jodoh wkwkw.

Karena masih BANYAK BANGET yang perlu aku rapiin dari diri aku. Kayak, contoh kecilnya aja.. aku ngerasa makin berumur bukannya makin wise malah makin sumbu pendek. Heran deh wkwkw emang kudu banyak istighfar.

And of course, aku butuh lebih banyak belajar lagi untuk mempersiapkan diri menuju jenjang yang lebih serius nantinya. Untuk kapan pun 'masa itu' akan datang kepadaku. Di usia berapa pun.

Di tahun 2023, aku jadi berani sih declare kalo, aku ga ngerasa diburu-buru untuk nikah. Karena semua orang punya timingnya sendiri-sendiri kok. Udah jelas Allah yang atur. Jadi walau pun ada sih beberapa kali sentilan-sentilun, tapi aku udah ajeg dengan decision ini.

Kayaknya udah deh, segitu dulu. Masih ada 29 hari lagi buat ceritain banyak hal lainnya. See yaa~
