but consider: Jayvik don't ever gets in arguments, not because they are the "perfect couple", its bc everytime Viktor gets mad or upset Jayce immediately says sorry.

HE DOES IT A LOT IN THE SHOW THIS MAN WONT STAND UP FOR HIMSELF IN ANY MOMENT. He sees his man is mad at him and he IMMEDIATELY reconsiders every choice he made, Viktor says, he's doing.

okay but like, as much as I am a fervent proponent of “not every ship should get married and in fact some of them would Never” - especially in context of enemies-to-lovers - I hope that everyone who sees me posting like that knows I am not talking about Spuffy. in fact, I would go so far as to say they are the two characters most willing and even desperate to get married that I’ve ever seen.

one of Buffy’s most persistent struggles is her right to girlhood and the inevitable expiration date she faces as the Slayer. she’s forced to fight and claw for every possible milestone that other girls around her take for granted - trying out for the cheer squad, running for prom queen, going to college, etc. one of the nightmares she has after killing Angel is about being unable to be a bride and get married. in Something Blue, she throws herself into wedding planning with a passion that speaks to her having daydreamed about it. in most cases, her commitment issues veer toward clinging rather than avoidance, and marriage is absolutely one of those beautiful, unreachable things that were ripped away from her when the Powers chose her. it haunts her.

Spike is probably even more obvious - he’s a man from Victorian England, a society that held marriage on a pedestal. furthermore, he is fundamentally a creature of devotion, never straying from Drusilla for over a century, and then from Buffy even after she was dead. their desperation is also quite similar - Spike’s original community had considered him undesirable, barring him from a love match; and while a union may have been arranged for him as a human, his vampirism took that option away entirely, in the same way that Buffy’s becoming did it. during Something Blue, he is just as committed to planning the minutiae of the wedding as Buffy is, even though they could’ve just decided to do it at the courthouse and get it over with under a shoehorned pretext. he’s been dreaming of a wedding for 150 years, let’s be real

Spuffy would’ve gone insane about a wedding. they would’ve fallen in love worse. they would have threatened each other with divorce constantly but stayed married anyway for however long they lived. hell, they should’ve done it just for the CPS reasons in season 6, just imagine having to hide it from everyone except the government, lest Anya thinks they’re trying to steal her thunder

I’m absolutely fascinated how TMNT 2003, TMNT 2012, and ROTTMNT establish who is the initial “best fighter” among the turtles and it has been a different turtle for each series.

For 2003 TMNT, it’s Leonardo who is the only one to beat Master Splinter’s exercise.

For TMNT 2012, it’s Raph who wins a sparagainst all of his brothers

And for ROTTMNT, it’s Donnie who holds his own against Baron Draxum

It would be awesome if TOTTMNT continued this trend and established Mikey as their best fighter.

my initial knee jerk reaction to lucanis/spite saying "family, enemies, contracts" was bad because it felt like an oversimplification but actually thinking on it i really love that lucanis forces himself into this box to make things make sense in his life. family is unconditional, enemies are to be killed, but contracts is so. interesting... man who promises mila that he will find her father because he does not fail contracts. the same man who tells effe that he will kill her slaver because he needs to turn her from a poor young woman that he sympathises with, into someone he can make a deal with. it's not kindness, it's not weakness, he's just fulfilling a contract, and crows don't break contracts. if he kills a bunch of racist blood mages during that process, then he's not breaking the rules, just bending them. a very convenient excuse to be a good man while still being a crow and assassin. and of course when spite is forced into him, he gets out of it with something familiar! by making another deal! something he could work with, something he HAS to work with, because being just an abomination is unthinkable. if he can work himself out of this problem like he's done with every other contract in his life, in his mind maybe there's some tiny chance that this becomes another job that he can claw his life back from.

I think it would be really funny for Kryptonians to have a higher hormones count on puberty. You gotta bet that Jon was DYING every time he saw Damian when they werent even together why is his best friend making him want to throw his organs out??

Look puberty sucks for everybody but for Jon it's heightened to like 100%

It would also be really funny that puberty for Damian was just really graceful. Like all the emotional outbursts and attitude are still there when one goes through puberty it's just he doesn't get acne, he doesn't have an awkward ugly duckling phase, no Damian just goes from cute to being prettier and prettier every time Jon sees him and Jon wants to bang his head against a wall.

Damian also smells really good so for Jon it's like that scene in Twilight where Edward ran out of his class because he got whiff of Bella's blood and couldn't handle it because of how good it smelled so he dipped.

That's Jon.

Damian's sitting a little to close to him, skin is touching skin and wow is Damian's skin so soft. Jon wants to throw himself off a cliff.

Sleepovers are horrifying for him, like he doesn't want to stop having them completely cus yeah, it's Damian, that's his best friend but it's so stressful because Damian fresh out the shower? Jon wants him to go home immediately.

Damian's shoulders are exposed? Jon is the reason for that no spaghetti straps rule in school. And when did the back of Damian's neck start making him feel some type of way? He doesn't remember nor does he want to.

It's all these things that keep him up at night that make him wonder why it all makes him feel so confused, but excited, but terrified at the same time.

And you're right, it is absolutely no better for Jon even when they are physically separated cus like I said, all that and the fact that Damian is like super pretty, so a simple video call or selfie will send Jon immediately back into overdrive and he's looking for kryptonite for himself at this point. He is hanging on by a thread and his parents hear him screaming into his pillow at least three times a week.
