NinaKate Romantic Relationship For My Main AU-Part I
They seeing each other for the first time
Nina has been known among the proxies since the night when Zalgo controlled her at the age of 15 and helped her find Jeff. Slenderman didn't want to take her with him because he didn't see any benefit to himself since Zalgo had reached out to her first, but he hadn't given the order to kill her yet just because he was curious about what would happen.
Nina was unaware that it was a ritual to summon Zalgo when she practiced one of the love spells she found on the Internet at the age of 13. Zalgo, seeing potential in her because of her obsessive love, followed her for 2 years, did not leave her alone. And since he decided it was the perfect time to take her with him, he took control of her body at the age of 15 and had her kill her own family.
Regaining control while plunging a knife into the heart of her younger brother Chris, Nina then felt so bad that she ran to the woods near her home. Zalgo led Nina through the forest, aiming to convince her that all this was Slenderman's and Jeff's fault and get her to the stage of wanting revenge. There she met Jeff, but Zalgo's plan backfired, as she hugged him and cried instead of hating him as he expected.
Kate had never seen the newcoming stray killer that Slenderman wanted to get rid of face to face before, but she had heard about the descriptions of her appearance and that she was a weird person in general. Since she was already someone who had been drifted away from humanity for a while, she had no reason to meet her, and these rumors didn't help either.
Kate, who was only 16 years old, had been a proxy for two years and had no one because of the fact that Masky and Hoodie were too focused on their own worlds and she didn't like them either. Rouge, Cody and Toby were not yet a proxy. So he was alone with Hoodie and Masky, who didn't even want to talk to her because they were afraid of her, and she wasn't looking for any human relationship.
She had experienced a hellish life until she was 14, but since she became a proxy, she has literally not been a human being. Although she had all the necessary human characteristics, she was not treated as a human, she did not think like a human, she did not feel like a human. That's why she was Slenderman's favorite proxy, since the whole purpose of her living was to fulfill his duties. The fact that she unconditionally accomplished everything he said made the others even more distant from her, but there was no problem for Kate. After all, she was no longer a human being.
It's been a month since Nina started staying in the same cabin with Jeff. Actually, she could have gone back to her old life since Zalgo destroyed the traces of that night, but Nina didn't know about it yet. Since no one else was trying to communicate with her, she thought that Jeff was the only important thing in her life, and she was holding on to him with all her strength. Although Jeff felt sorry for her at first, they started arguing because he was getting overwhelmed by her sticky attitude.
One day, when Jeff was drunk and really hurt Nina's feelings, Nina ran away deep into the forest to calm down. After walking for a while, she realized that she had lost. Moreover, this time, since both sides considered Nina worthless, there was no one to guide her through the forest. Nina was completely lost. She crossed to the foot towards a tree and let the tears flow, which she could no longer hold back. She was crying not only for this moment, but for everything. Most of all, because she was a bad person, and the fact she deserved all this.
Kate was returning from a mission. She was incredibly injured, and if people really cared about her, they wouldn't have let her walk on her own. Actually, Hoodie, with whom she had gone on, had offered to help her, but Kate's snarling with hatred indicated that she had responded negatively to his offer, and Hoodie's fear of Kate had caused her not to insist any further. After all, Kate knew that no one really wanted to deal with a non-human proxy who was at the age of 16.
That's why Kate was staggering through the forest alone, trying to ignore the pain and depth of her wounds. She just needed to get to Jack's cabin. Ann had just arrived, and Kate still didn't trust her. She had many reasons not to trust a zombie. Smiley hadn't started working for Slenderman yet either. So Jack was the only one Kate could go to, and despite her bleeding wounds, she was trying to get there as quickly as possible.
Kate, who was trying to walk, heard a crying sound. It... it was a human cry. She didn't know what she had to do. She kept walking, thinking that she didn't need to do anything because she knew she wasn't a human. But there was something in that crying sound which bothered her. This stranger's voice was filled with more pain and anger than she had ever heard before. Although Kate was not ready to face an enemy, she decided to check the source of the sound.
The person crying was none other than Nina, whose name was mentioned only with hatred and contempt.
Their first real meeting
Kate watched Nina for a while without making a sound. She did not know why she was crying, and frankly she had wondered what made her so sad. Because as far as she heard from others, Nina was a person who was cheerful enough to annoy and never got upset. And obviously, Kate was surprised to encounter a sight that was the opposite of the rumors she had heard.
Just when Kate decided she had watched enough crying and was getting ready to leave, Nina, who heard the sounds Kate was making, shouted in that direction. Kate would never normally have made such a fatal mistake, her injuries had made it difficult to control her body and she hated it. She hated being weak.
When Nina screamed again, Kate knew she had to do something. Her first thought was to quietly leave the environment, but she was not in a good enough condition to do so, and Nina was not an enemy. So, Kate thought it would be enough for her to just say hello and introduce herself.
When she appeared, Nina tried to suppress her sobs and stand up, but she fell to the ground since she sprained her leg. While Kate was only frowning at this situation, Nina was thinking about how useless and incompetent she was, which is why her crying became more intense.
Not knowing what to do, Kate slowly went up to her and held out her hand to her. On her first attempt, she had pulled her hand out regretfully before she even reached the halfway point, but when she saw how upset Nina was, she tried to overcome her hesitation. Kate was sure that she had been disturbed by the sound of her crying, and that she had been so kind as to make her cease her voice. However, in reality, it was just a proof that her humanity had not completely died.
Although Nina wanted to hold her hand, she suddenly saw how badly Kate was injured, and Nina immediatly pulled the hand she was holding out to hold Kate's and took support from the tree. She then stated that she did this because she did not want to hurt her any more, but was grateful for the offer of help.
Then nervously asked if Kate, who she knew was not the enemy, could take her back to Jeff's cabin after someone checked Kate. Nina didn't know where she was supposed to go, but she was sure that the person in front of her knew. She had seen the proxy mark on her wrist from her torn clothing.
Kate only responded with a shrug and started walking slowly. Nina also went after her, hoping that this was a signal for her to follow the proxy. Along the way, although Kate occasionally looked at Nina, Nina didn't mind it. Nina had noticed that she was an observant person, and she even thought it was cute.
After a walk, they arrived at Jack's cabin, where Nina randomly asked Kate questions to distract her own mind from sad topics, and Kate sometimes gave audible answers, while most of them were in body language.
Kate knocked on the door and asked Jack if he could take a look at her wounds. When Jack called her in, Nina was standing in front of the door because she didn't recognize him. But later, when she saw Kate making a movement signaling for her to come inside, she entered the cabin and closed the door.
After first Kate's wounds were taken care of, and then her own leg, Jack insisted they should stay here. He said it was too late even for a proxy and the killer to be roaming the forest, and explained that he had enough places. He also mentioned that Kate wouldn't need to come all that distance for her check-up the next morning.
Nina, who heard the word , only burst into sobs. Killer. That's how people must have see her now. As someone who takes lifes of innocent people for no reason. She knew that her idol was a murderer, but she had convinced herself that his victims were for a purpose. That's why she hated herself while glorifying Jeff in her eyes.
While Jack was trying to calm her down, Kate also bizarrely asked why she was crying. Nina was angry at being asked so clearly, so she yelled and told what had happened to her. She said how she had a wonderful family, but now they're nine floors underground because of her own stupidity. And what a terrible big sister she was.
While Jack was patting her on the back just to calm her down, Kate said it wasn't her fault. She even tried to explain that she was aware of what Zalgo had done, and that Nina was considered lucky to have survived with this much, as Kate was someone who had seen even worse.
Nina, on the other hand, was only more annoyed and asked how she was considered lucky. Her life was completely ruined, she had nowhere or no one to go to. Then Kate told her that the cops weren't after her, that she didn't have to live this life like herself. She sat down next to Nina and controlled herself, even though she wanted to put her hand on Nina's back.
Nina was surprised now. She asked Kate about her own story. Nina wanted her to tell her why Kate was here, why she was a proxy. And Kate just paused.
She said she didn't remember.
She mentioned that she had no memories of before the age of 14. Hearing this, Nina felt an incredible sense of pity for the young proxy standing in front of her. Nina may have had bad memories, but at least she had good ones too. She thought what a terrible thing it was to not know who she was. Not being aware of the existence of anyone who loves her. Not having a real life.
And quite instinctively she took hold of Kate's bony hands, which were like ice.
Kate didn't know what to do. She reflexively withdrew her hand, but she also knew that Nina had not done it for any malicious purpose, and her apology was a proof of this. Then Kate said it was okay for her to hold her hand and placed it back on her own lap. Nina grasped her hands tightly once again.
She told Kate that not having a past did not pose any problems. And Nina even got a little overexcited and said that if she wanted, they could build a future together as friends.
Kate, on the other hand, was literally shocked. While Kate was content with just nodding, Nina excitedly let go of Kate's hands and clapped her owns in the air. This was how their friendship, which was quite meaningful for both, began.
The beginning of their friendship
That night they stayed in the beds that Jack had made for them. Nina was acting incredibly protective of Kate's injuries, and Kate felt that day for the first time in years that she was worthy of being cared for as a person. Of course, this feeling was not long-lasting, but it was enough to create an involuntary smile on her lips. And that was enough for Kate for now.
Nina was constantly jumping from topic to topic while talking, occasionally not neglecting to ask Kate questions about her own thoughts. Nina realized that she was someone who didn't like to talk too much, and she didn't see extra talking as a problem because she knew that Kate was really listening her.
Kate, on the other hand, was starting to feel more and more comfortable answering Nina's questions. Maybe this could have been due to her slowly creeping sleep, which came under the influence of medications. After saying goodnight, she finished talking. However, realizing that Nina may have thought that Kate was bored with herself, she offered that Nina could come to the proxy cabin for a few hours tomorrow if she wanted.
Nina instantly accepted this with the joy of having found a new friend. Although she was physically hurt while sleeping that night, she was emotionally relieved. A voice inside her was saying that they would both be good for each other.
Kate kept her promise. After the necessary check-up the next day, they set off for the proxy cabin. Nina was upset that Jeff hadn't called her even though she'd been away all night, but she didn't care about it as much as she usually did. Because she was no longer alone, she had a friend.
It was good for them that there was no one in the cabin. Both Kate didn't want to deal with others, and Nina wasn't ready to meet someone else yet. For a while they just hung out doing nothing and just chatted.
Kate then timidly asked Nina if she liked to play video games. Nina mentioned that she sucked at games and explained that's why she only watched other people play. Kate, on the other hand, in an even more shy manner, said that Nina could watch herself if she wanted to.
They played games for hours that day. They did not stop playing until nightfall came. And then Kate offered to take Nina to Jeff's cabin before it got too dark. Nina was actually staying alone in the same cabin with Jeff and Ben. Because they were considered one of the first inhabitants of the forest, and apart from the proxy cabin, other cabins had enough place for maximum 4-5 people.
Kate was very angry when she saw that Jeff was rude to Nina while dropping her off at the cabin, but when she saw that Nina was generally happy, she didn't say anything to avoid upsetting her. Then, when she was going to say goodbye to Nina and leave, Nina stopped her and gave her her number. Nina didn't have anywhere to write, so she asked if it would be a problem if she wrote in Kate's hand, and when Kate said yes, she wrote down her number. Then Nina asked for her own number and registered it.
After saying goodbye, Nina was waving enthusiastically to Kate from inside the cabin. Kate, too, shyly waved to her gently. When Kate turned around, she couldn't help but smiling.
When Kate came to the place where she was staying, she had a strange feeling inside. She wasn't sure what it was, but she liked it. Then, while she picked up her phone to check if there was any important message from Masky and Hoodie, she saw Nina's new message.
"Hiiiii, thx so much for helping me!!!!! Hop i can see ya soon sweetie :3333"
That day, Kate had found a real friend for herself. Maybe it could have been her first friend in her life. And she was glad of it.
Nina had found herself a true friend. Someone who really cared about her and doesn't use her for her own interests. There was a pleasant feeling in her.
Holly hell how long this shit is-
Also Nina's message might be out of character, English is not my main language and I'm not used to writing like that.
Sorry for shitty writing but I'm sick as hell

There's no god. Our world will always be full of filthy scum. Targeted to @ST4TICHEAD, i really hope you see this. If so, make a post reminding me so. I would adore to hear your feedback.
Tumblr media
"Sorry if that sounds rude at all" after saying horrific and terrible shit about me. 🤪 Yeah alright,
You're schizophrenic right? I hope the voices eventually tell you to kill yourself. And your delusional ass is gonna believe it. (Like always)
And y'know sometimes i wish we still had mental asylums like we did back in the 1950s. No shit I wasn't around at that time, but the way they treated people back then sure enough is still needed today. Poor little ST4TICHEAD wouldn't last a day in there. Either she'd be fried on the electric chair or Future Diary'ed and close to whatever months pregnant by now. :3
Tumblr media
If ST4TICHEAD ever has kids in the future. Im going to feel so bad for those kids. No pity for her, she can go get violated in a alleyway with no clear sign of getting an abortion. (welcome to america) She'd probably abuse her kids and spend all her hours online defending it and blaming it on her "schizophrenia"🥺 I really hope the moment that kids out of her vagina, CPS is already on the scene to take that kid out of her custody. She lives and breathes like a future child abuser.
In all honesty SU mods better watch her track. Literally stalk her. So what if it makes her widdle "sizopenia" worst. Even before hand she's a fucking wreck. She's always delusional or paranoid about something. This ailen will one day kill a bunch of people and everyone will pity themselves for the outcome, "we didn't know this was gonna happen!!!"🥺🥺🥺 its all on you. Your fault,
Tumblr media
Pitying yourself over your own behavior. Why post this shit? Its all your fault that you are like this. Literally EVERYTHING you listed is all on you. How about take a step to fix yourself? Or are you too delusional to do so.
The straight jacket doesn't wear itself y'know. :3
"T-the realization that im an attention seeker.." 🥺
Yeah, sums up my post. You're a fucking hypocrite.
Fuck you. ST4TICHEAD, If i have the chance. I'll literally de-platform you in an instant. And remember SU users. If they're banned by next month. Don't throw a shit fit.

When an episode opens this way, you know things are either go really glorious or really dark. And this drama does both. But before we plunge into horror, it gives the characters this moment of grace. I especially love when you see her hand on his back, next to the wound he got saving her.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
And the voiceover, which combines the scene where they are closest with their talking about their most painful, separated time..
Tumblr media
The way her eyes shine watching him sleep.
Tumblr media
All that tenderness...
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
And that moment of grace is over as quickly as it came. JH finding out the Crown Prince is refusing to bring back captives - despite his cynicism and his experience, there is something incorrigibly naive about goodness and hope in JH. But also he got to know CP and he thought he could trust him a little. He does not know that CP cannot bring them back because the mad king views those miserable women, farmers and children as some sort of potential rebel army.
Tumblr media
And things get worse - when JH gets them back regardless, they are ambushed and most of them are killed or wounded. People who survived captivity in enemy country, killed by their own, on orders of a paranoid madman. (I don't think anyone realized how far the King is gone - CP didn't want them back to save himself; not even he thought the King would order them massacred, and those who did not either die or make it back to China taken for torture and execution.)
The scenes of JH in the torture chambers - that vivid intelligence and strong will at the end of its rope - ouch!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The bit when he's barely conscious but still grabs her ring, my heart!!!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And I love that her ring is what saves him because she sees his slack hand drop it, when he's being taken out as one of the pile of corpses. Their love is their salvation, again.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The way she finds him (the fact she's in the palace in the first place is to look for him), the way she hides among the corpses, smearing herself with his blood, the way she brains the guard. THIS WOMAN IS EVERYTHING!!! (And I love that this time she rescues him.)
But also what a contrast that embrace at the end of the episode - on a pile of bodies, with him brutalized and dying - to the way the episode opened.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
That line from Song of Solomon comes to mind: Place me like a seal over your heart, like a seal on your arm; for love is as strong as death, its jealousy unyielding as the grave. It burns like blazing fire, like a mighty flame.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Switching gears entirely, I want to talk about the prince and king. I honestly love how upright both the prince and his wife are. She begs him to save himself and not plead for the captives (once he found out they crossed and were killed or taken to be tortured) but while he knows danger, he goes anyway.
Tumblr media
And she goes with him. She may not care about his cause, or at least not as much as she cares about him, but she will follow him. (Seems pretty historically accurate for So Hyeon's Crown Princess and ultimately her doom.)
Tumblr media
In an episode full of amazing scenes, my favorite is actually none of the rest of them but the scene between Crown Prince and his mad father. The way CP begs and the King cannot understand but suspects him more not just because he's paranoid but because he fundamentally cannot imagine someone caring for peasants (or for anyone not their dear self), not really. He cannot understand his son because they do not inhabit the same moral universe.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The way SH tries, tries SO HARD even as you see him realize his father is unreachable, even as he knows that jeopardizes his own life.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
There is no hope there. (And the tragic thing is the King, paranoid and selfish and monstrous as he is, loves his son. He views not executing him as a kind act of love. My God!)

"Hey I can't help but notice you stopped preaching the good word of the Gumbo Brigade. Why is that?"
"Oh, I preached their word, defended them and was actively part of them for over a decade of my life, and they kept attacking me, trying to destroy my career, psychologically manipulating me, verbally insulting me, and trying to justify horrifying criminal activity such as straight up protecting pedophilia and violent felons. Plus, they stole thousands of dollars from me, forced me into the darkest depression I've ever been in, attempted to actually kill me for real, and when I went public about getting multiple of them arrested for actually owning CP, they attacked me and my reputation so heavily that to this day people think I'm heavily against their movement and am an evil person and they even said that about me when I was literally part of their movement. Also, literally every single friend I have that's part of the Gumbo Brigade is borderline psychotic and impossible to have a normal conversation with because of how constantly they talk about how evil they think everyone else is and how they want other people to die for disagreeing with them on trivial matters, and multiple of them have blocked me for speaking out against such serious things as pedophilia and felony crimes that I am and always have been very strongly against. I also came to notice that my friends who are either middle-ground, non-political or a supporter of Mombino have been very respectful, easy to talk to and human to me."
"So you're a Mombino Supporter, then?"
"I'm a good person supporter. Don't care what you believe as long as you're a good person."
"Alright. Just finished filling out your EvilFuckingAssholesPedia page saying you're a Mombino Supporter and you would vote for Hitler."
"What?"
"You cannot send messages to this person because they have blocked you."
--
See the funny part is people are gonna think this is a joke or that I'm making this up because it sounds unbelievable but literally every single word of this is 100% true whether your bitch ass believes it or not, and this literally happened to me (but it was KiwiFarms) a month ago.
Just letting everyone know, you can be an activist all you want, that's fine, but when a fucking overwhelming majority of the attacks against your character, your career, your financial wellbeing, your family, etc. are coming from the people that you're an activist for? Maybe you're an activist for a group of people who you should not be an activist for. Just maybe. Just maybe those people are psychopaths and you need to put your picket sign down and just go home and focus on yourself and maybe, just maybe, JUST MAYBE, rethink who exactly those people are that you're defending.
Like if I'm doing a fundraiser for the Gumbo Brigade, and the Gumbo Brigade is literally making hate-posts about me telling people not to give me money because I'm Gumbophobic
I think I'm just gonna stop doing the fucking goddamn fundraiser and tell you stupid fucking idiots to eat shit
Seriously, my guy, my dude, my man, if the people you're supporting are manipulating and attacking and emotionally abusing you
You're not a freedom fighter
You're a cornered abuse victim begging your abuser to love you
I got out and I've been happier in the last 2 years since than I've ever been in my literal entire life
You should get out, too.
PS: Best part about this post is Gumbo Brigade supporters have such terrible reading comprehension that they won't even know this post is about them.

Joy of Life Episode 30 liveblogging
It's my first time watching, so don't tell me secrets ;)
aw this is kinda sad. Gao Baokum was a shitty person who ruined lives but it's a little poignant
Does the emperor really buy Royal Princess' bullshit? Or just pretending, out of convenience?
If he truly believes her nonsense, really lowers him in my estimation
"What I promised, I will do it for sure." sigh. Chen Pingping is so reliable. 😍
Ok that sounds more like MY emperor
It's gonna be Yan Ruohai the asshole who isn't the mole and the other 'nicer' assistant head guy who is the mole
Yep I'm more and more convinced. Asshole tried to kill them but he wouldn't give up his son. He's setting up the other head dude, on command from Shadow
whoomp there it is!
youtube
"You can't magically have soldiers!" Chen Pingping: bitch have u met me?
🎸 🎶🥁
They're so polite, explaining their schemes to each other. oh just bring out the tea.
Wait, the whole assassination episode was fake?! LMAO well that tracks because it was super anti-climatic
So asshole division head wasn't even an asshole. It's even more sad now that his son is a POW :(
This goes back to the pilot?! wow we finally get the full answer on that original assassination attempt that kicked off everything
wait, bro, your defense is.... what if an evil and manipulative person gains control of the Investigations Bureau? So I better betray everyone to the sketchy royal sister who had an illegitimate child with the Prime Minister and everyone knows covets the Treasury? that's...your super good lifeline?
'A royal should control it. I don't care if they're good or evil.' Ah, the salty taste of imperial feudalism! (I can hear the echoes of the fall of the Qing dynasty in the distance... Hi, Heroes!)
Hong Sixiong?#! 😱
Yan Ruohai: very concerned that his majesty, who never saw Fan Xian organically bow to him, might have missed that everyone's fav boy doesn't have special respect for royals
"The path is long. We shall meet again."
Commander Yan wants me to care but I don't
AND NOW UR BRINGING MY NEW FRIEND CP INTO IT jail!!!!! jail for 1,000000 years!!!!
yeah dad he really likes his gf, I don't get it either but it makes him happy so just go with it

I'm in deep shit and everything i own might be looked through by CPS so i need to log out of my side emails for a bit and shit and omfg why did life do this to me
That night I got high, my friend decided to tell the office 'one of her friends' (who they guessed was me) said a various amount of things in snap messages, which she read most of them out loud and played the audio from that video of my parents arguing
She said she didn't intend for it to go too far, and that she only wanted them to get a gist of what was happening and not guess who it was (just incase they did need to step in or if I actually really badly hurt or killed myself). But they called me in for the counselor, and now CPS is involved since my friend read one of our messages where i said i didn't feel safe in my home
So CPS came to my house today after telling me they would at my school, and now they're coming here AGAIN later to LOOK THROUGH MY ROOM AND EVEN MY DEVICES TO SEE SHIT ON MY SOCIALS AND IF I POSE A DANGER TO MYSELF
they all know i lied to my parents and said that the person who reported me reported a couple other people, and were trying to start drama. Idk if the principal knows all of this but I'm gonna try to lie to him because:
My father called the school to know who called CPS and the principal told him i had a trans bf, and that i said i was in the LGBTQ
THE PRINCIPAL OUTED ME FFS I WAS AVOIDING THIS ALL YEAR
HE HAS NO FUCKING RIGHT TO OUT ME HE HAS NO FUCKING RIGHT
CPS is coming back and idk when, but i have a plan and it's my only hope..it's such a small hope and the chances of it working need a fucking miracle, but if this doesn't work? I will literally kill myself. If CPS doesn't take me away at that point, life would be miserable. My father is convinced that I'm only wanting to attend that vocational school next year because my 'sick girlfriend' is going and I want to be with 'her'. So if he gets in, then my father said that I can't attend it. He literally told me to go and tell my bf to call off attending the vocational school and if he doesn't, then he'd be ruining my dreams of a career
MY FATHER IS GOING TO RUIN MY WHOLE FUCKING FUTURE IF SOME TRANS GUY GETS INTO THE SCHOOL I WANT TO ATTEND AND HES TRYING TO MAKE ME BLAME HIM
TO. HIS. FACE.
But thankfully, my little inkling of hope has appeared and I might be able to cover this all up. But, after all of this, me and my bf will have to hide in public, and I won't be able to be out at school at all.
I'm not going through my plan here, I'm just telling you guys your part. I need this or else my life is on the line. Quite literally, it's fucking scary.
First, I'm logging out of all of my secrets Gmails, and making a new Tumblr account. I need the people who I'm writing stories with to make alt accounts (@oatsynalliums and @technicolor-chocolate) that pretend to be either indiscrete or just blatantly not LGBTQ, and pretend like we've been talking about our stories for a while in our messages
Second, never ever interact with any accounts that might link back to my main, or yours. And try to avoid LGBTQ content so that it won't pop up on my dashboard due to you interacting with it
Three, someone TRUSTWORTHY keep track of my Gmail passwords and write them down to tell me later so that they won't get found on anything I own, so I can log back into them later
Four, someone who's smart and knows a lot about the internet and how sites work, answer me some questions in messages
This is DIRE. I could DIE. I am begging you guys to go alon with this part of the plan, and don't question anything since I am scrambling like crazy to put this whole thing into motion I EVEN INTERRUPTED MY FRIEND IN THE MIDDLE OF HER JOB TO CALL HER ON SNAP AND SHE NEEDED TO GET AN EXCUSE FROM HER MANAGER SO I CAN TALK TO HER CUZ ITS THIS URGENT I COULDNT EVEN WAIT UNTIL SHE WAS OFF OF WORK
PLEASE FUCKING HELP IM BEGGING YOU PLEASE

I'm absolutely going out of order going over these episodes but if I don't talk about Season 2 it will kill me.
⚠️This post is very long. It's a commitment to read, so be ready to scroll if you wanna!⚠️
We start with Omid getting shot. I feel like how it played out was pretty realistic. His quiet sneak-in--it made sense. I don't know if I entirely feel bad for Michelle, but I don't feel good about her getting shot neither. And then Christa dies off screen. Maybe not the choice I would've made, but I'ma let it slide--if only because Clementine was trying to be outta there! I love Clementine's lil backpack. I wish she kept it.
I honestly don't dislike Clementine as a protagonist. In fact, I like spending a lot of time with her and letting her have more autonomy in the story. However...it does bring its own set of problems.
The theme of this story seems to be dangerous incompetence--which is a personal pet peeve. There is so much reliance on Clementine and this burden of accountability the adults around her make her take. Like, it was good of Luke and Pete to carry her back. I liked Pete (and then he died real soon after). But then they fumble on locking her in a shed. To die of either illness or the walkers that surround her. And Nick almost shoots her too! It was cool of him to draw the walkers toward him, but like...you're very trigger happy buddy. I never really warmed up to Nick before we turned his head into a salami log. He was on a streak of poor decisions (see: Matthew's murder).
Leaving Clementine to do her own sutures in the cold and rain instead of just having Carlos at the very least fix up the obvious animal bite is really stupid of them. I felt like I was CPS reviewing a case while playing this game, and I'm not even a decade older than Clementine here. So to find out that these adults (with Luke, apparently one of the younger members at 26-27) were okay with leaving her there? That makes me mad! She shouldn't have had to do that.
Then we have Sarah, the tall dork kid, who is willing to help you out because she has more than an ounce of good sense and understands that this is unfair. But then they do her real dirty! She is abused and dies a horrible painful death after being riddled with anxiety and watching her dad get devoured. And then everybody just...forgets about it! Not even a forlorn look at her pair of glasses or whatever remains of her. Wow! That is awful! I completely disagree with those choices. Sarah absolutely deserved better. I mean, I don't really care about Carlos, but Sarah deserved better. Forget Arvo! We need more cute fanart of her.
Then there's Carver. Pretty good and believable antagonist. He has a doctrine that is unfairly and irregularly enforced. Less a ruleset and more of whatever he feels like at the time--which is mostly anger. He does some recon before striking which is also pretty cool. And maybe it would've gone better if Carlos hadn't let two children stay home alone. Ain't that like...Parenting 101? If you're so keen on protecting your daughter, why ya leaving her alone in the apocalypse? Maybe she wouldn't be taking photos if you were there with her. Maybe she would've been better about not opening the door. Don't force children to watch children.
And then Bonnie does the second round of recon, which was really obvious. If I walked around the corner of the lodge and saw some guy looking into the window and acting real surprised to see me...I would probably think they were counting how many people were inside to launch some sort of attack. I knew she wasn't a good person, and that remained true to the very end. Despite her sorry attempts to make amends, she really wasn't nothing. She ruined Christmas! I'm not even religious, but the decorations were so pretty...and she was an agent of its destruction.
Reuniting with Kenny at the Ski Lodge was nice. I felt happy to see him. As I said before, I was absolutely sitting at his table because he is Clementine's secondary dad. As we'll find out later on, he kinda toxic, but I was still loyal to him because...the devil you know, right?! That is literally one of the worst perspectives, don't listen to me, but it's the one I had. And also I felt like he wasn't really going to hurt-hurt the kids, but he did still hurt Clementine emotionally. I felt like he was the best guardian out of the ones presented to us (outside of maybe Rebecca).
The addition of Sarita brought some problems too. They did not flesh her out. She deserved better also, outside of being Kenny's new wife. I know that:
She likes...Christmas.
She found Kenny somewhere.
She thinks his beard got bigger.
She had to listen to Kenny tell his sad backstory before she went to sleep at night.
She got bit on the hand.
Sarita didn't get enough space outside of Kenny--who I still like, for some reason.
Then there's Kenny's other friend, Walter. After watching Breaking Bad, I was not ready to trust this dude. I mean, he mixes peaches and beans for Pete's sake. But he was actually factually nice! Not even taking vengeance on Nick after he shot his bestie--that was a real kindness. And yes, I did tell him. Seems kinda hypocritical considering my position on Ben telling the truth, and maybe it is, but I think he deserved to know and that he'd find out pretty soon otherwise. I felt like it was wrong for Luke to cover for Nick so hard--especially sending Clementine out there to do so, putting her in the line of fire as they so often do. I mean, they're friends...but your friend has a history of going off and killing people with no real reason. I completely forgot where Nick was during the Carver Cult situation, so no more about him. But back to Bill Depot.
We meet some dude named Mike and another one named Jane. They help the crew escape while Kenny absolutely defaces Carver with a crowbar. He deserved it, no question about that. I think it's hilarious how if Clementine just insists, she can stay and watch. "No, you can't watch this guy get massacred. Okay, only if you really want to."
Carver's behavior towards Rebecca is extremely disgusting. This ownership of her is gross and the entitlement towards AJ, regardless of their prior relationship is gross. And while I do not blame Rebecca one bit, it's all Carver's fault, I couldn't help but keep thinking: "If I hadn't got mixed up with this group, this wouldn't have happened to me! I don't even really care about these people!" It was moreover the group's collective incompetence that made me feel that way.
Reggie was pretty funny. One thing this game is never lacking is in humor, and I liked Reggie...kind of. Course, his cavalier attitude towards imprisonment is not good, but he had been left there. I'm still confused as to how his arm was cut off. Was it really a walker bite, or a punishment? I really felt like he was lying to make Bill Depot look like a better place to be, and as we can see with Lee, amputation doesn't typically work. But maybe it's a time thing and something to do with using sterilized tools.
Clementine being the linchpin in their escape is kinda cool, kinda not. She is the smallest and least likely to get noticed. But they let her out in that bright ass jacket. Get 'er in something darker, at the very least! And of course, I was thinking: "Lee wouldn't let her do this. Lee wouldn't make her do any of this." But Lee did let her sneak through the vents, so...? I don't know.
Mike & Jane are pretty cool at first. Mike is funny, seemingly reasonable, and Jane is strong and collected. That definitely changes pretty soon with catching Luke and Jane fooling around and the introduction of Arvo.
I was completely against robbing Arvo and disagreed with Jane escalating things. She did still rob him of his gun, but not his medicine, but that put Arvo in danger on his return so I understand him being mad at HER about that. But the way he treats Cleemntine no matter what and holds the wrong people accountable really soured me on him. He held Clem at gunpoint first, even though she's not even a preteen in a rainbow sweater.
However, the way Kenny beat on him? I didn't agree with that, nor did I agree with leaving him in the cold. Additionally, the xenophobic names Kenny called him were rude and nonsensical. You're calling him a commie but you want to go to Wellington? A supposed COMMUNE?! Aight.
But Kenny's anger is not unjustified. It's not like Arvo didn't lead a crossfire that put everyone, including the kids in danger. If they weren't shot, they could've died of hypothermia. And in Kenny's eyes, being held up might've led to Rebecca turning.
I didn't want Arvo to be tortured regardless. He was young and there really wasn't any point to beating on him. That is, until the very end--but it's not like Kenny knew what was going to happen.
When Kenny is talking to Clementine alone in that truck, my soul was screaming. I know exactly how she feels, what position she's in, and God it is icky. I still like Kenny for the most part, somehow. I still feel like he was there for the kids, kind of. However, this bouncing off of Clem to make serious decisions after snapping at her, telling her she was at fault for Sarita's death (he did apologize at the very least, which is more than I've gotten most of the time). This isolation and weight Clementine felt is awful. Not to mention he was so consumed by anger at Arvo that he let Clementine sit there freezing and wet for longer than she should've had to instead of finding a log or something. Some of the burdening on Clementine is realistic. Children of color especially are often expected to act more adult than they should, but uh, don't ask me why I know what that feels like. On the other end, some of the decisions Clementine has to make are purely done for story reasons.
The betrayal? I thought it was pretty good. I don't think it came out of nowhere and it riled me up. I know Mike seemed like a nice guy, but his connection with Clementine was shallow. People normally have the common decency to protect kids, but it's hard to tell until you gotta. And he'd been talking to Arvo, seeing how Kenny mistreated him, he wanted to get them away from Kenny. But he was content to take away all the food that could've been used for AJ and Clementine. In the cold. In the snow. He thought less about protecting the most vulnerable and more about taking his favorites with him. And then there's Bonnie!
I knew she couldn't be trusted. She clearly didn't know her place after being part of the reason the crew got kidnapped. And then she pulls that stuff, after blaming Clementine for Luke's death. Saddling the pre-preteen with something else. By the way, I didn't feel much at Luke's death. Maybe he should've got some skis from the lodge. The only thing Bonnie did was give her a cool jacket THAT SHE STOLE FROM THE SKI LODGE!!! I hope she didn't make it. Flaky-like-a-pastry-ass-Bonnie.
Then comes Arvo's shooting of MY BABY! MY LITTLE RAINBOW BABY CLEMENTINE! HE SHOT HER! WITH A RIFLE! A GUN THAT WOULD GIVE YOU TIME TO NOT SHOOT A CHILD! OOH, I WASN'T OKAY WITH BEATING HIM EARLIER, BUT I THINK HE DESERVED A PUNCH FOR THAT!
But then they make you mild with that Lee flashback. Lee is just so concerned with keeping this child safe and comfortable. He really was father of the year.
I'm glad Clementine survived, but then comes another ordeal. Jane v. Kenny. Okay, I was half with Jane. She wasn't completely clean (seriously? you were so willing to give up on Sarah twice), but neither was Kenny. She seemed to want to get Clementine out of a possible volatile environment. But that stunt she pulled? You heard of leaving a baby in a hot car. Now how about LEAVING A BABY IN A COLD CAR TO DIE AT SUB-ZERO TEMPERATURES! I wasn't willing to shoot Kenny because I didn't know what Jane did to AJ. "Just trust me," told me nothing. I was certain he wasn't dead, but I still didn't know if he was in danger. So I let Kenny kill her. Guess I'm going with truck freak--at least he won't leave me in a car.
Now, Kenny did make me uncomfortable. Especially with his steep change in emotions, like saying, "Race ya!" after violently killing someone Clementine was close to. Like, I understand why, but still.
Finally, Wellington. Kenny's last good deed. He does what's best for Clementine and AJ without giving Clementine shit about it. He helped her get there and seemed genuinely happy to make sure they'd be safe. That's one reason...I still kinda like this guy!
But damn, Clementine has to watch another person she trusted and felt like watched over her disappear. That is very bitter, slightly sweet. I hope they have apples at Wellington.

A short little Buddie vignette/coda for after 6x17. I wrote it as blurb just after the show. But, given their season finale ending, this... just seems more like them:
“I heard about Taylor’s book," Eddie waived vaguely with a kitchen knife. "They interviewed her last night on the 11 pm news. She… was looking very pleased with herself.” Eddie looked up from the lunch he was putting together on the counter. Buck stared back at him, keys still in hand. “You came to talk about it?” Eddie prodded.
“No,” Buck started. “Not… not about Taylor. Um… Kameron is staying with me at the moment and I.. I was thinking she might need some space. Or I might need some space.”
“Kameron, who you are the sperm donor for?”
“Yeah…. That Kameron. Conor’s wife.” Buck’s shoulders deflated. He limped into the kitchen slowly and leaned up next to Eddie’s refrigerator.
“That’s awkward. How long is she staying?”
“I don’t know. She showed up during my date with Natalia last night. It was – a surprise.”
“How did Lady Death deal with your baby momma showing up on your doorstep?”
“Conor’s baby and his baby momma. And not great. Not great seeing Taylor on the news yesterday either. Not great running into Lucy either for that matter.”
Eddie stopped filling a ziplock bag with carrots and took a long look at Buck. “Wow. That’s a lot. Well… you said she sees you. So… she’s seen you then. It’s a lot on you, too. It's scary. But- Look, it’s like ripping a band-aid off. At least you don’t have to worry about explaining later. At least you got a lot out of the way early on.”
“Well, I thought she saw me. She… um… you’re right. A lot got put out on the table. All right at once. And… And –”
“Let me guess, the big bouncing box of wonderful loves you anyway.”
“She left. She saw just who I am. She saw all of me. The good. The bad. The mistakes. And she walked away. You’re right. She saw me, Eddie. And I wasn’t good enough.”
Eddie looked softly at Buck. His eyes were watery and wounded, like a kicked puppy.
“Well.. then I guess it’s official.” Eddie started. “What is?”
“You suck at dating worse than I do.”
Buck looked up, his jaw hanging slightly ajar. He huffed a single laugh and rolled his eyes. But a slight smirk slowly took over his face and laugh lines crinkled together at the corners of his baby blue eyes.
“Beer?” “Please. Thanks.”
Eddie walked past Buck to his fridge. Buck turned and trudged into the family room. Eddie could hear him collapse onto his couch. It complained for a moment for a second, but held his weight.
"Is this your model? Or Chris'?'" Buck asked as Eddie as entered with two open bottles.
"Y’know, when the doctors told me and Shannon that Chris had CP, the thought of helping him build school projects went right out of my head. I never dared to dream I would have to do this."
Buck looked up from the drawing and over to Eddie. "Have you started doing any college planning? I mean, putting some money down for when..."
Eddie took a swig of his beer. "I hadn't thought about that either."
"Well, can I help?"
Eddie's eyes widened. "With... his college fund or with the model?"
Buck smiled wider than Eddie's eyes had grown. "Let's start with the model, then we'll see. While you were out with a machine gun in Afghanistan, I was out and about with a nail gun across the Southeast. I have some idea what I'm doing."
"Okay. You’re the man with the answers. How can I pay you for being my son’s engineering consultant?"
"You have a few hours to kill? And maybe a few more beers?"
"I can keep the beers coming if you don't mess up the hot glue."
"Ok then." Buck smiled. "Let’s get to work."

What are pro shippers? I looked it up on the web but the results vary and seem confusing. I know people mostly dislike them but what are your thoughts on them?
Hello my lovely anon, I hope you're having a good day. In warning, you accidently pressed one of my rant buttons ^^;; But please do not think that I am angry at at you ^^
Basically, a proshipper is someone who 'pro ships'; that being to a proshipper is 'pro' or for any / all ships that do not harm real people. Someone who does not believe that fiction equals reality, or that while fiction has impact on reality, it's overall minor.
It can be a ship that you personally find disgusting or dislike (incest, massive age gaps, heterosexual ships, homosexual ships, etc) but since it's fictional / not real and isn't hurting real people you just shrug and let people ship fictional characters how they wish
I've done work in the CP (child protection), and as a result I actively despise anti-shippers (if not hate). I've gotten too many calls with people calling up about someone shipping two fictional characters in a way that the caller thought was problematic. And EVERY. SINGLE. CALL. takes time, personnel, and resources away from REAL. PEOPLE. Real children. Because we have to check to see if the creative work is involving / using /depicting real people... never had one that was, don't know anyone else in CP that had it either. It was always fictional. And all that time we put in was now wasted, and at minimum one REAL kid was delayed (or denied) aid because some idiot anti freaked out about fiction. On one instance, and something that gives me nightmares to this day... one of those REAL KIDS was seriously harmed (nearly killed) due to us WASTING TIME checking on some stupid fucking ass FANFIC. Words can not describe how much I hate anti-shippers
So my thoughts are: So long as it's fiction and not about / exploiting real people?
I don't care. Do what you like so long as you are not harming real people. I'd prefer it to be TAGGED, but my line in the sand is 'not about / exploiting real people'
Mostly because I keep seeing people flipping out and freaking out about romance, but never about murder, theft, torture, etc. The fact that it's ONLY about romance is why I tend not to take anti-shipping seriously. If the person really felt that fiction=reality, then they'd care MORE about murder and the like, not care less (if at all)

Why was Robespierre blamed for everything? I know that a lot of people have criticized the Committee and their deeds, but everyone blames him exclusively, as if he is the only individual in the Committee of public safety. Always blamed for everything that happens while others hardly being mentioned when some of them cause any disaster. I don't say he was a perfect but why him exactly??
And thank you for your precious time.
It’s an interesting question, the answer to which I would say mainly lies in how Robespierre’s personal fame looked compared to that of the other CPS members.
If you’re wondering why Robespierre was blamed for everything by the people who overthrew him, the answer is pretty simple — it was a question of survival. Those who overthrew Robespierre didn’t (mainly) do so because they disagreed with his principles or actions, they did it because they were afraid he had it in for them. Of course, they couldn’t use that as a charge against him (in fact, if you check out the minute for the session during which Robespierre was denounced and arrested, you’ll notice that, besides the confusing charge of being ”a tyrant,” all the concreate things he’s reproached for are mostly small details) and lucky for them, they didn’t have to either, as they found a way to outlaw Robespierre & co, thus avoiding the complications of a trial and Robespierre getting a chance to defend himself. Yet if they had thought that getting rid of Robespierre meant saving their lives, they soon faced a whole new obstacle, because, quite naturally, his death had to be followed by a rejection of everything associated with him. This meant that those who had just overthrown him (who had often been just as implicated in ”the terror” as Robespierre had) were now in danger yet again. They saved themselves a second time by rewriting the past, in order to hold Robespierre (sometimes along with the people executed together with him) as the only culprit(s) for everything that had happened the previous year. To quote the speech held by Tallien on August 28 1794, which is perhaps the most famous one on the subject:
”This was Robespierre’s system. He was the one who put it in practise with the aid of several subalterns, some of whom were killed alongside him and others of whom are buried alive in public hatred. The Convention was a victim, never an accomplice.”
If you want to put a positive spin on it (which I’ve honesty never seen anyone do bc everyone on here REALLY hates that guy), you could argue that by saying this, Tallien was trying to put an end to even more political killings (which the Convention had certainly seen more than enough of already). Because, since every member of the Convention actually had their fair share of the blame for ”the terror,” portraying it as something that should be rejected technically meant everyone needed to be punished. Using Robespierre as a scapegoat was a way to safely back away from what had happened without risking even more political divides (the thermidorians probably feared, just like Robespierre had half a year before them, that these would prove fatal to the struggling republic), and instead declare some sort of amnesty (though it would perhaps be ignorant of me not to mention that the Convention still went on to purge a few of it’s deputies (Collot d’Herbois, Billaud-Varennes, Vadier, Barère, Carrier, Lebon) as ”Robespierre’s accomplices” in the months that followed.
That the thermidorians had such success when painting Robespierre as a tyrant after his death was probably also due to the fact that their image was upheld by people on both the right (see for example Abbé Proyart and his La Vie et les Crimes de Robespierre: surnommé Le Tyran: depuis sa naissance jusqu’à sa mort from 1795) and the left (like Gracchus Babeuf and his Robespierre et les tyrans from 1794)
If you’re wondering why Robespierre in today’s popular culture is more or less blamed for everything that went down during ”the terror,” that is, of course, again, tied to the fact that he was slandered after his death. The saying ”it’s the victor that writes history” rings very true here. If Robespierre had survived thermidor and gotten to write his own history, it’s possible the general image we have of him today would have been completely different. By painting Robespierre as the only one responsible, his enemies could downplay their own actions, and that is to a large extent the reason barely no one remembers their names today, while Robespierre’s has become eternally etched to words like ”terror” and ”guillotine.”
On the other hand, if the propaganda spread against Robespierre after his death is a key element to understanding why he’s presented as main responsible for ”the terror” today, it’s also not enough to explain everything. It is for example worth remembering that allegations about Robespierre as bloodthirsty/a tyrant/more powerful than the other committee members predated his death and the slander spread after it. To give a few examples of it, after the death of Danton, the Belgian newspaper Courrier Belgique affirmed that ”Robespierre now has gotten rid of some of his most dangerous enemies.” Likewise, on June 21 1794 Robespierre complained about being called ”king of France and Navarre” in ministerial cabinets abroad. In an undated, anonymous letter found among his papers, Robespierre was accused of aiming at dictatorship and described as a ”tiger covered with the purest blood of France,” but he also received letters from locals thanking him exclusively for actions that were really made by the CPS collectively (1, 2). When Cécile Renault was questioned about why she had gone to Robespierre’s house armed with two knives in May 1794, she responded that she ”had only wanted to see what a tyrant looked like.” Finally, in a diary entry from the same day as the execution of Robespierre, a woman already claimed that he had wanted to ”massacre 60 000 men in Paris […] recognize himself as King in Lyon and in other departments and marry Capet's daughter.” That allegations like these existed is not all that weird, because even though they technically weilded the same amount of power, Robespierre was still way more famous than the other CPS members, and dare I say the other members of the Convention. Robespierre was a ”man of myth” even before his death, and towards the end of his life weilded an influence that his collagues simply didn’t share. Robespierre can also be called somewhat of the ideologue of the Committee, while many of his collegues kept a more private profile during their time on there. Although everyone was instrumental to keeping ”the terror” going, Robespierre went further by also justifying and making sense of it in his famous speech on February 5th 1794. All of this combined has lead to even modern historians who I would argue hold a balanced or even symphathetic view of Robespierre admitting that he can still be said to have been ”a (CPS) member without portfolio” (McPhee 2010), ”the first of twelve” (Leuwers, 2014) and even that the claim that Robespierre exercised a dictatorship of opinion at the Convention ”certainly isn’t false.” (Jourdan, 2016)
So my answer to why he’s so often exclusively blamed for what went down in 1793 and 1794 is that it’s because he became the figurehead of that era. He partly achived this status while still alive, through his own actions, thoughts and fame, and partly after his death, through his colleagues using his reputation as a handkerchief to remove the blood from their own hands. This doesn’t mean it’s factually correct to hold Robespierre as the only one responsible for ”the terror,” but it is nevertheless something that tends to happen with figureheads.

Ons gets more absurd each chapter and I don't know what to think about it. So here are some points I'd like to discuss just to get it out of my head.
Beware, this is a lot of negativity. And despite all my criticism I will keep reading it because I still enjoy the story for the most part. For all I know, the things I don't like rn might lead to cooler plot points in the future.
Kagami is still trying to redeem Guren, which I'm tired of. Yes, I'm back on my hating Guren shit. "Guren is trustworthy", said Mika, after having found out that Guren played a part in the killing of their family just so he could then make the kids dependent on him to take advantage of them. If anyone, then Mika should understand that this is complete bs, since he's not attached to him. Guren the tragic hero. Idc idc, if you killed the people who mean most to me to manipulate me for whatever reason, even if it was to save the world, I'd still be pissed and never forgive you. Just let Guren be the bad guy and leave it at that. I like villains, I would like him. Just let him be unapologetically abusive and let the children taste the betrayal of their superior lieutenant. That would actually add so much delicious tension to the story. But it feels like the narrative wants me to love Guren for what he's done when in reality I just wanna call CPS on him for doing this to my children.
Shinoa's writing got worse and we all know it. She had so much potential but now she's just the potential love interest. Her personality is having a crush. Whenever she could have character development it gets reversed again. Also weird how she's a metaphor for desire. That's such a stereotypical female anime character trope. Not to mention that Mitsuba is barely even present. But what do I expect from a shonen manga written by a dude?
All the kids are forced by the narrative to always consider Yuu first because he's the main character. Why would they have their own wants and needs anyways, amirite? They initially went against him to get their families back, which wasn't the smartest approach but I blame that on Guren again because he immediately told them to raise their weapons, which was unreasonable, but then they started crying and apologizing to calm Yuu down and saying "oh we're so sorry for wanting our families back, even though you like Mika". The whole situation is laughable.
Yuu was teased to become villainous and selfish. He wanted to protect Mika. He wanted to save Mika and he had a plan. So much so that he devoured Ashera and what not. Now he wants to save everyone, which is another stereotypical shonen trope, so I'm not mad. But a little disappointed. Because it was predictable and I feel like this arc could've been so much more intense, exciting and angsty. About betrayal and learning to put yourself first. And Yuu being less of the happy go lucky, stupid protagonist. Like he was in the very beginning of the story, where he was like "I don't need family". He could've turned back into that! The angst!!
Basically, none of the characters have good development. Yuu and Mika started something because they had opposite development in the first arc, that happened in a flash. But then they stuck to that and never changed anything anymore.
Again, sorry for being so negative. I'm not trying to say I could do it better and I'm not gonna go off and write a canon divergent fanfic either. I'm just fed up rn.

Ooh, I love telling my JW stories!!
1. (tw familial abuse) First off, I was lucky enough to not have had other kids my age in our congregation, so I wasn't really pressured into baptism. I got out when I was 16,it was a bit messy but no comparison to how it would have gone had I been baptised.
2. My mom was actually allowed to get a divorce! But only after she wrote to Bethel. My father was abusive to everyone in our family (my mother as well, but not quite as bad as him). She asked the elders in oir congregation to be allowed to get a divorce, but they didn't allow it. My older sister just turned 18 (I was a toddler, my younger brother a baby) and threatened my mom to go to CPS and try and get custudy for me and my siblings. So my mother wrote to Bethel, told them about everything and they allowed he to get a divorce. It was really messy and we had to go to a different congregation.
3. Said sister was disfellowshipped when I was 4 for having a boyfriend. Until then I had spent almost every day and night either with her or my other sister. From one day to the next I wasn't allowed to see her anymore and basically only then started living with my mom and my brother.
4. My elementary school teacher bullied me for being JW and poor. That's not JW fault (she also did this to the only muslim kid in my class and another poor kid) but it still sucks.
5. When I was 12 two elder (both over 50) talked to me about my nail polish. They said that it was really disrespectful to tempt men like that and asked if I wanted to be a stumbling block or viewed as a whore.
6. I actually don't have much to tell about evolution, because it was only briefly mentioned in my science lessons. The teachers knew about our religion, so I wrote one sentence at the end of the test (something like "scientists believe..., but I believe the bible") and that was done.
6. I do however remember how I debated pro life in politics class. Like the good jw I was I usually didn't really participate in our politics lessons, only enough to get an ok grade. But I cann still feel how my heart was beating because I was so horrified that my classmates were okay with "killing babies" (while praying for God to kill everyone who isn't jw).
7. I also remember when I was 11 (?) and I finally found two friends in school (who I was only allowed to see in school and for schoolwork) that I thought how nice it would be if someone killed them, because then they would be resurrected (also thought that the kindest thing to do would be if one person decided to kill as many people as possible, because they themselves would not get into paradise, but they would help others, because if you have already been resurrected it would be easier to decide FOR the truth). You know, normal kids thoughts...
8. I was constantly terrified that I would have unforgivable thoughts. I always had a "what if..?"-mind, so as a very young child I thought about "what if this is the dream and our dreams are the real world?" "How do we know what's real?" and stuff like that and I always had doubts in my mind (although of course I did everything to suppress them). When I learned that blasphemy was unforgivable and that a lot of stuff is considered blasphemy in jw circles I was even more afraid of my own mind.
9. One time my mom found my brother's Yu-Gi-Oh cards and freaked out because ot would certainly invite demons into our home. (I was slightly better at hiding my stuff)
10. Also, my family is convinced that my father invited demons into our home because he read Stephen King.
11. When I went to 7th grade I had to choose between learning French or Latin. I always wanted to learn Latin because I always had athing for ancient languages and "useless" knowledge. But my mom said that I would only need Latin if I wanted to go to college so I had to choose French. I had 5 years of French, hated every second of it and now that I could actually use it, I have to relearn everything because I forgot everything. Now I really like it btw, but now its purpose is;vt to keep me from acquiring "the wisdom of men".
You're among the more fortunate. This is good.
I'm actually quite surprised they Guv'Body actually relented.
Separating families. Classic Guv'Body technique.
That's messed up. Though sadly I don't have any words of advice regarding teachers abusing students (I'm here for Jehovah's Witness Horror Stories, not School Horror Stories).
Honestly by this point the Elders are most likely projecting their own sexual desires. In layman's terms I think they may be pedophiles themselves.
(You put 6 twice so I'll just merge the two). It's amazing how one's cult programming can bleed into everyday life. I like to think that it's this very same bleeding that caused me to start asking questions.
That's the very same hypothetical I've brought up on at least one occasion regarding logical extremes. Believing that the dead will simply await judgement after Armageddon, etc etc. A horrific proposition, if you ask me.
It's stuff like this that makes it easy to scare people into submission. Make someone unable to trust their own instincts, and they'll cling to anything and anyone who acts as their "leader". A dictator's favourite pasttime.
I've basically just learned never to share my interests beyond the barest of descriptions because of this.
I've heard of several regimes that would try to snuff out literature. They rhyme with "Mittler", "Chtalin", and "Meow".
Reading Latin would've helped you read some of the older Bible literature, and therefore poke holes into JW theology. I FEEL LIKE I SEEN THIS SOMEWHERE.

I'm never around for the drama that unfolds bts since i don't hang around in the fandom much. so these are my (mostly) unbiased opinions lol
when i see comments saying cps don't have chemistry in dramas i end up confused because i enjoyed their drama because of how good they were romantically lmao even if the plot is weak. but honestly im not the best judge at that because if i don't vibe with the drama, i usually say it's not my type and move on. the fact that the plot could be at fault never crosses my mind until i see others opinion [looks at hidden agenda] (im sorry HA enjoyers im glad you liked it but it wasn't my type)
probably why i was able to enjoy bbs and its our skyy 2 and thought ohmnanon had strong chemistry. it was only after our skyy 2 did i know about their "break up" and that was very weird to me because they seemed pretty good friends in the bts I've seen. i wasn't a fan but i did like them a lot. And then i see comments saying they did not have chemistry in our skyy 2 which always gets me cause wdym they didn't look like they were in love
another one would be jimmysea in vice versa that some seemed to think got no chemistry either which i don't agree with because while the plot was all over the place with the constant ads, i never felt like they weren't into each other. i struggled through the drama because i wanted to see them end up together cause they were cute af. saw someone say it's probably because they don't fit the uke/seme stereotype which could be it? idk. I'm not a fan of the actors but im glad they got last twilight cause they seem to be nailing their roles in it.
unpopular opinion im guessing but i thought perthchimon had romantic chemistry in dr. i won't say it's strong like others but i watched it for them so. the theme didn't remain the same after ep 2 but a cute bl is up my alley so I wasn't that disappointed lol. though they can't kiss for shit lmao but im not the one to shame them and i hope they get better at it if they have another bl. i watched nlmg after and chopper stole the show for me. i liked both of them in it too (more than the mls but it's mainly because i couldn't stand their dynamic. phuwin character being whiney and having pond character fall for him again annoyed me because it reminds me of futs and i was against them ending up together in it lmao. i just wasn't able to get into nlmg much. genuinely no offense im glad there are others who enjoy them fr)
discourses online say all these cps were too bro-like which i get why but as a fellow gay man, this does happen irl. I've had people who were shocked at the fact that my partner and i were actually dating because we act like bros lmfao. and tmi, but who cares, im often called a twink irl. anygays these three really stood out to me because i liked them a lot in their shows so yeah i had to drop an ask since prev anons were discussing this lol
I get where you’re coming from, I'm also someone who doesn't engage in fandom very assidiously although my desire to know everything about everything means I usually know what's going on regardless whether I particularly want to or not. A lot of information seems to just randomly fall into my lap!
I partly agree with people who say that the OhmNanon chemistry was somewhat diminished in Our Skyy 2 though not so dramatically that it wasn't enjoyable.
Agreed on JimmySea and Vice Versa, I don't actively hate it but most of the reason I stayed was them. Those ads truly did some damage there. Last Twilight, though, holy shit! I would now kill and die for JimmySea. I really don't know if their distance from the usual relationship roles had anything to do with their popularity - or lack thereof -, it's really not something that had occurred to me before now, so thank you for that fresh perspective!
Yeah, Dangerous Romance wasn't excellent but I've seen much much worse and while it's true there's a lot of room for improvement ("PerthChimon can't kiss for shit" got a genuine laugh out of me), they weren't completely unsalvageable.
As for PondPhuwin, Phuwin does seem to get that type of character a lot and in terms of their dynamic, it can get old fast. I will say, though, that FUTS had me laughing irl a lot so I tend to hold a little more affection for it than I do NLMG. But that's just me.
And hell yeah for that last part! The discourse that pisses me off the most about BL is when people get upset about couples in stories not conforming to their idea of what a relationship should look like. If I'm being completely honest, I think GMMTV tends to use the same dynamic more often than other production houses which I sometimes find extremely frustrating because when something new and different comes out a lot of people get upset it doesn't align to the standard GMMTV sets by virtue of being arguably the most popular producer of BL.

My goodness tumblr driving me crazy, my alon posts don't show up sometimes
Please pardon if you see this again.
Edit 1: yeah that's it. Kill me now
Edit 2: Oh it shows up when I remove the League of Nobleman part from the original text. Lemme try again.
Edit 3: Oh then when you edit it the post will continue to show. Dear god.
Edit 4: I can't seem to post images either.
Alright so I was saying.
From the author's notes of Zhang Gong An chapter 81
"关于《张公案》晋江改为无CP的解释——【性向】这个华丽的栏里 面只有言情、纯爱、百合、女尊、无CP五个可选。《张公案》不 是纯粹讲爱啊。顶着纯爱两个字有点搞。然后另外三个,言情、女尊、百合就更不能选了。
我以前啥都没选,但是这次更新,系统给我发个对话框,非让我从 里面选一个,否则就没这没那,我只能选无CP了…………"
Further clarification according to Dramapanda:
Responding to Netizens who pointed out that her web novel has been marked as "no CP (couple)" in a literature website, the novel's author said "then... how do you think I should classify it? If I mark it as a danmei, will you say I'm taking advantage of the genre's popularity...?" She further adds how she has "always been puzzled as to why some people have always asked her to characterise "Zhang Gongan" as a romance. Although the writing might not look like it, I am really writing a detective novel...” Dafeng Guaguo said that whilst the novel's classification has always been under "suspense" or "mystery", because the literature website didn't have those classifications, she just marked it under "no CP".
So this is where the entire "The author said no CP" thing comes from.
Welp I suppose everyone then ran away with the No CP thing, which is just grossly out of context to the point the actual meaning was lost🥲
It just means there was no other option in the jjwxc website to label the novel under! It doesn't mean that this story is necessarily straight or that there's absolutely no queer undertones in it or all the polycule vibes in the drama were later additions! Like I've said in this post, the drama didn't add anything romance-vibe-wise the novel hadn't already!
Think of a non-BL/BG story that does not have an explicitly stated front line romance arc. As in, the focus is on the case solving and other stuff, while the characters may show a subtle attraction here and there, or have a relationship in the background, or in flashbacks. So one might argue the story does not technically fall under the romance category.
Same here.
It is not a BL in the sense that it is 99% focused on case solving. Zhang Ping and Lan Jue’s interactions are largely platonic/colleagues too.
But the third arc that deals with Shulin backstory gives the same (probably more) vibes like the drama did, and there are scenes of how Wang Yan came in between that entire entanglement. There is also the scene of Zhang Ping asking Chen Chou whether they are Zhijis.
Now, what label would you categorise a story like this under?
It's not a BL, it's not not a BL either. This story shares the same universe as the author's other novel Imperial Uncle which is very upfrontly queer, it is just not a focal point here. Like....handwaves~ gay people exist ok?
I have seen way too many comments of "You people are so fujoshi for reading gay undertones to this because the author said there's no CP!" like smh.
Honestly I think lots of people have been spoiled by the practice of dramas and novels declaring who their "CP" is beforehand, and once a CP is declared have gotten used to expect this couple to behave in XYZ ways for no reason other than that they are the CP, and if two people behave in a way that is even slightly queer, to panic "OMg this CaN't be because the author said no CP!"
Sigh. Once again I implore, it is OK to just enjoy a story as it is, yknow? That the characters in your story are written as very real human beings that have several crushes during the course of the story (like yknow, normal people do) is a good thing, a testament to the author's ability to write 3D characters.
I know, "one true pure love" is a charming concept that I also love and if it is in a story then great, but yknow... stop expecting that all stories MUST have it and the stories that don't are lesser than the other and also to not to automatically assume a story that is not screaming in neon letters that it has subtle romantic arcs doesn't necessarily have any.
Most importantly, to not think the "one true love" of a character is any less worthy because they fell in love multiple times with different people. Having read Imperial Uncle and now 3/4 of Zhang Gong An, looking at some comments I'm so confused. If you don't see the shipping potential then don't ship, let the people who do have their fun. Simple as that.

So i saw the fnaf movie opening night and have been doing a lot of thinking about it. I did like the movie and it was a really fun watch especially for me since I've been following the series since it came out (like I'm sure most of us have) but there's some stuff i wanted to talk about since i see people either only giving it a 10/10 or just hating on it.
1. I personally felt like the character of the aunt was not really needed. I know shes supposed to be the incentive for mike to get a job but i feel like her position could have easily just been filled by a CPS worker. She felt like a silly villain with her comedic relief sidekick and it felt out of place to me.
2. I felt like Vanessa being added took away from us having more scenes with William. After giving mike the job we dont see William till the end at the climax so it felt like if you didnt already know who William was going into the movie you weren't given the tools to figure it out on your own making it feel off for people not familiar with the series. If Vanessa was taken out and replaced with a few sparce scenes of William instead it would have felt more cohesive to me.
3. I don't really understand why William killed Garrett. It felt like they forced that narrative to tie everyone together when in terms of game lore it doesn't make much sense. William didn't start killing until Freddy's was made and he didn't do any killing outside of it. I know there's some theories floating around about that but until we get more context in the next movie it feels off to me. I was expecting it to be more of a trauma for Mike that would make him feel more sympathy for the spirits and be more inclined to help them that would lead to some character growth about letting go of things at the end.
4. I feel like the fort scene was very unneeded. I'm sure they really wanted to show off the animatronics hence the scene but it felt like it took too much time away from other scenes (specifically the climax) causing them to feel kinda rushed.
5. Finally the ending. It felt like it was really short to me and i was expecting at least one chase/hiding scene involving William. I also was hoping for a more silent William because if they wanted the mask off to be more of a big reveal it was kinda dampend due to how much he talked before taking it off. I also felt like he took it off really fast and we barely got to see his full costume in action. The spring lock scene was pretty good but i felt like his "i always come back" was also rushed. Plus it made no sense in that context because as of right now this is his first appearance. Its not like he's "come back" before so why would he say that he always does. I feel like it should have been saved for a later movie instead of just shoving it in for the sake of a reference.
Thats just some of my thoughts, there was a lot of stuff i did like about the movie but i really wanted to put these specific points out there, feel free to let me know what you think. Overall I'd give the movie a 6.5-7/10 and I'm definitely seeing the next one.
TLDR: some scenes and characters could have been cut out to make the plot and other scenes more cohesive and fulfilling, hopefully more context next movie.

I read some of mobox's they shouldn't know fnaf comic and man it has the same or even more levels of shit than a CW show. I always wonder something in my mind, who is this comic made for? It's a fucking fnaf comic and fnaf has a child audience but it can't be for child audiences thanks to the abusive relationship shit that it has. I don't think it's for adults either, hell if mobox is making these type of comics and try to make some soft of awareness with abusive relationships then fuck man if I was raped and saw this comic then I wouldn't be so happy with that. Also when the fuck did springtrap ever had sympathy with the animatronics or should I say lefty, is it he suppose to be some fucking psychopath murder or something? Don't know the fnaf affinity au lore Sso can someone explain that to me?
The Affinity AU comics are the Riverdale of the Fnaf fandom 🤣
Honestly, I don't know who it's made for other than people with the same mindset as Mobox, who romanticize abuse and think that Mobox's way is the "right way to interpret it" when it's not, and people who make ab*sers in media look like "a little skrimply blorbo! UwU" (Gee, wonder where we've seen that before), when they're literally not.
Keep in mind that Mobox's audience is (again) dominated by children and they get this behavior normalized to them thanks to these comics and the content that Mobox makes (we've seen it in the comments of Mobox's n*zi art to prove it)
Like dang, it's not that hard to do some research and ACTUALLY CARE ABOUT PORTRAYING THESE ISSUES IN A RESPECTFUL AND INOFFENSIVE WAY instead of making all the characters have an BDSM party with one another where they forget everything the abuser did wrong!
Stolen Innocence for example? Despite the warnings it had, if I was a r*pe victim, that would just retraumatize me and a bunch of others because of the blatant CP and ab*se in it! And I'm sure They Shouldn't Know would too!
And yeah, you're right! Scraptrap (William) literally killed Charlie (the soul inside the puppet who's inside Lefty), why are the two friends and why is Scraptrap of all people giving advice to Lefty??? Like sir, that's your murderer hello??? You shouldn't be listening to him when he literally killed you??? WHAT???
