Hey Giggly! It's me! A few days ago I was talking to @mystwrites and then we were giving our point of view on this relationship! And well I wanted to share the HC with you!

Ok, let's talk about Sanemi and Giyuu, they are both a couple in which their relationship is based more on love and some tickling.

Giyuu is the one who is usually the most ticklish because sometimes he just approaches Sanemi with fear and asks him: You don't love me, do you?

Sanemi then sighs, gives him a kiss and reminds him that he loves him and so he doesn't forget, he tickles him until Giyuu snorts because it's one of his favorite sounds.

Sanemi also gets tickled because sometimes he cries in silence and Giyuu doesn't like that, he is willing to hear it but Sanemi tells him: I don't deserve to be loved...

Giyuu frowns and immediately hugs him from behind and tickles him while he kisses his cheek to make him feel better

It is also like this in the mornings or at night. Sanemi doesn't tend to be tired, but Giyuu is and wants to sleep next to him.

Unlike in the mornings, Giyuu doesn't want to get up but Sanemi does. So they both tickle each other, one gets it to get tired and the other gets it to wake up.

I'm so late to replying but OH MY GOD THESE ARE BEYOND PRECIOUS KLERKJEJKREJKRJ AHHHHHHHH! <3 <3 <3 Sanegiyuu my HEART! It's so angsty but so comforting and just- GAH!!! I love how they're both so reassuring to one another that they deserve love and happiness and just- *sobs* I LOVE THEM!

AND THE MORNINGS! Morning tickles are the cutest thing ever I swear! Giyu's more ticklish, so I imagine he tends to be on the losing streak more; but if he does super gentle super sweet tickles on Sanemi the other will practically melt back into the bed for a few more hours AHHH! I'm soft all over!

Sparking Our Inferno | First Date with Kyojuro Rengoku (Rengoku x Y/n)

AN: Hi, I would just like to say that this will be my first "Y/n x (character)" fic so please forgive me if it's not good. Happy reading!

You and Kyojuro had been best friends for quite some time, and at some point you began to like him just a little more.

However, he never said anything to acknowledge your feelings, so you buried your attraction deep down and continued to be his friend.

That's why you were so surprised when he took your hands in his after finishing a mission you had been assigned to with him.

"Y/n." And that was all he said for a beat, his figure seeming to almost glow in the moonlight as those flaming eyes hooked onto yours, rendering you unable to look away.

When he spoke again, his voice was soft and carried a hint of gentle warmth that brought heat to your cheeks.

"Y/n... I've been meaning to tell you for the longest time."

You held your breath, knowing he would probably want to tell you that you had to come over and train with him at his estate again, but some stubborn part of your brain refused to stop hoping he would say something else.

"I think that you are an amazing, hardworking individual, with talent and great potential to be better than you already are. I enjoy spending each day I get by your side, and we work well together. I simply cannot deny it anymore..."

"Y/n... I have fallen for you."

If your cheeks were burning earlier, it was nothing compared to now.

You sucked in a gasp, thoughts racing frantically through your head wondering whether or not this was a joke.

But the sincere look in his eyes made everything else around you slow. They were so... clear. You could see exactly how he felt.

And he was telling the truth.

With a shaky breath, you managed, "I love you too."

His tender smile turned into a beaming grin as soon as the words left your mouth.

He found every single thing you did endearing.

He wrapped you in a tight, but comfy and warm bear hug and chuckled, "It sure took us a while, didn't it?"

You felt almost dizzy from the relief and whispered into his shoulder, "It was all worth it in the end though..."

A bit into the next week, it was the day scheduled for your first date.

You were a bundle of nerves, fidgety and anxious.

You had already swapped the clothes you were to wear five times, and were resisting the urge to go change once again.

"After all," you tried to assure yourself, standing in front of the large mirror in your room, "we're just going to have some tea together."

It was a favorite of Kyojuro's, a small tea joint which was actually quite good. It was famous in this little town, and people from all over came just to taste their stellar matcha.

You took a minute to sit down and wait for Kyojuro, thinking.

"How long has he loved me? Does he really love me?"

"No, Y/n," you said aloud, snapping yourself out of it. "Don't doubt him. You saw how he looked at you."

You sat there in silence for another three minutes before a knock at the door made you jump.

"Y/n!" Kyojuro's familiar voice could be heard from behind the painted wood. "Are you ready?"

"Yes, give me a minute!" You called, scrambling to grab your shoes and put them on, before skidding into the bathroom and adjusting a few stray strands of hair and checking your reflection one last time.

Taking a deep breath, you opened the door.

And there he was.

Blazing hair flowing onto his shoulders as usual, that smile like the sun on his face. And...

"His clothes," You thought, all the air once again drained from your lungs.

He was dressed impeccably, in a way that showcased both his casual and formal side at once. It made you feel like you should go change for the sixth time.

But that feeling melted away as he looked you over in polite awe.

"Y/n! You look stunning!"

"It's because this is your first time seeing me out of my Corps uniform...", you muttered, embarrassed, as you shut the door behind you and joined him on the steps outside.

He insisted on carrying you, so you arrived at the slightly busy restaurant ten minutes later in his comfortable arms.

You could see everyone else's eyes on you as he gently set you down.

And hear the whispers.

But unlike what you originally thought would happen, people seemed happy for you two.

"Look! It's Rengoku-san and somebody... I think it's his date. They look good!"

"Oh my, what a cute couple!"

"Wow, Rengoku-san's really lucky!"

"Is that Y/n? And Ren- wait... AWW~!"

Well, either it was just you or the place was rapidly getting warmer....

Kyojuro settled you down at a small cedar table set for two before taking a seat himself, looking around. He had a huge grin on his face as he leaned in and murmured to you.

"You seem to be stealing everyone's attention, hmm? Just like how you stole mine."

You were busy looking out the window at the bustling town, your back to him, but heard his words.

And he knew too, by the red coating the tops of your ears.

Before he could continue, a waitress arrived.

"Hello!" she chirped cheerfully, "What can I get you two today?"

You turned. "Can we get two cups of your specialty matcha? I've heard it's the best around."

She wrote it down with a smile and a nod, confirming the rumor. "Anything else, or will that be all?"

Kyojuro cut in. "And one vanilla taiyaki. Thank you!"

She put in the dessert on her notepad and waved as she left to go serve another table.

The food arrived quickly. In the span of five minutes, in fact.

And that was when you discovered the pure bliss of eating with the person you loved.

Kyojuro had graciously split the taiyaki in half, and it was delicious.

The mix of vanilla and matcha was giving your taste buds something to celebrate as you savored every bite/sip.

He watched your face, feeling your joy himself as you two chatted and ate.

Thirty minutes had passed and you were stuffed to the brim.

After six extra steaming cups of matcha and four more taiyaki, you refused any more food, clutching your stomach.

Kyojuro himself had eaten two times what you had and miraculously looked even better than before.

After you said thank you to the owner and headed out, he motioned for you to sit next to him on a bench.

You didn't hesitate to sit close to him and asked, "Why did you eat so much? Won't your stomach hurt tomorrow?"

He laughed, "It's my gratitude to the owner. So he makes more money and stays in business with his spectacular food for a long time. If even it's just a little, I want to help."

What a perfect man.

But... "You should have let me pay!"

"Absolutely not. Y/n, this was our first date. Of course I had to pay. And, like I just told you, I want to help. One should never take another's money if they are capable of paying themselves."

You just couldn't hold back your sigh.

"What?" He asked, surprised. "Did I say something wrong?"

"No, quite the opposite. You said exactly the right thing. I sighed because it's impressive how much you do for others", you said simply.

"Oh trust me, Y/n, just wait. I do even more for the people I love."

What did Muichiro do to get in this "predicament" you may ask? Well..

'Nii-chan?'

'Will you play with me?'

'I can't, I'm busy.' Well.. he wasn't actually busy, but after the death of their parents, he didn't feel like playing childish games anymore or games at all for that matter. His brother, although upset, he was quite the opposite. He was still cheerful and happy as if nothing had happened. He was trying to forget about his parents and just manage to live life alone with his brother however Yuichiro was not.. he was selfish and although he did care for his younger brother he did not show it and his response only made the younger one upset.

'But you never play with me anymore.. please, just this once?'

'I said no'

This angered Muichiro who ended up hitting his brother.. or well, he tried to his brother but in an instant he was pinned down on the floor as Yuichiro straddled his legs.

And this is where we find Muichiro now. Laughing and begging for his life..

'I- I- *snort* SOHOHOHORY!! PLEAHEHEHESESE! *squeal*'

He begged as Yuichiro used one hand to lightly scribble against his neck and the other tracing gentle shapes against his back.

'NOHOHOHOHOHOHO! HOWWWW!? STAHAHHAHAP!'

He wasn't sure how much longer he could take this. He was very sensitive, and because they were siblings, Yuichiro knew all his ticklish spots. He didn't mind being tickled, but he also couldn't get over how sensitive he was.

'I'll stop if you promise to not hit me.' He switched spots so that he was now more focused on his lower back, scribbling and prodding at it to really get the other laughing.

'*squeal* I- I PROMISE! PLEAHEHEHESE!'

and with that, he stopped and stared down at his brother. His face was red, and his bangs covered his eyes as a wobbly smile appeared on his face while residue giggle escaped his lips. Yuichiro helped him to sit up as he hugged his brother tightly and rubbed his back as he said

'I love you brother..'

'I love you too'

Today the most terrible feeling happened to me...it happened that this morning I woke up in my room and when I turned around Gyutaro was sleeping next to me, so beautiful and real so I hugged him tightly and we talked a little until I came back to sleep, I woke up again but really this time because it was just one of those very real dreams that leave you with an indescribable emptiness in your chest so the first thing I did today was cry for my Gyutaro 👊🏻

Very clear and informative! …That is, if you speak Japanese. You can get auto-translations of the auto-generated Japanese subtitles, but those can be spotty. A much more detailed video, fully in English, taking apart the blade to better appreciate it. Excellent explanations both for beginners and not-beginners. Science! The light version explaining the curvature of a Japanese blade, with cool clips of the curve happening underwater. Science! The heavy version explaining the Hamon. I hope you like hearing about carbon. Oh, you want something more specific to Kimetsu no Yaiba? Was my conjecture not enough for you? Well, here’s a short one that’s been going around, proof of concept on the cutting ability of Inosuke’s sword, thank you, you excited nerds (Genya’s gonna be so upset about those watermelons though). And then when you’ve got a who-o-o-le lot more time on your hands, HOLY FUDGE, THIS GUY MADE IGURO’S SWORD. Not only that, he’s got video after video after video after video of the very, very, very extensive process of making the sword. You know what really blows me away? EVERY VIDEO HAS ENGLISH SUBTITLES AND THEY ARE GOOD. (Taisho Secret reminder from Chapter 190: Iguro’s sword was produced by Tecchikawahara’s son Gantetsu, with a special folding sheath that opens upward instead of drawing it out through the koiguchi (“carp mouth” because of its shape) like normal single-curve katana.) A note from a fanfic writer to other fanfic writers: There are no limits to nerdery. I fully encourage you to be a nerd. Go! Unleash yourself! Be a nerd! However, you can never assume that your readers have as much knowledge as you, or that they are there for a science or history lesson (though I assumed everyone who read Teppi’s adventure is here to learn). While being rich with details can draw people into your writing, don’t feel pressure to understand everything about a topic like Nihonto, because you don’t need to use everything in the topic. That daunting we don't need to do that to ourselves. Your readers are there for plot and characters (or lack of plot, even), so my advice is to use only as much detail as serves the readers’ enjoyment. Am I guilty of too much sword detail? Yes. Sometimes. I’m sure I am.

This year has been a difficult one, especially these past few months after I lost my dad. I won't lie and say I wasn't dreading today because of that- I was scared I'd wake up and just wanna cry cause he's gone and I won't get to hear him say "Happy Birthday!" to me, you know? I also won't lie and say I didn't cry thinking about that (but it's my party and I'll cry if I want to, hehe. I make dumb jokes to cope.)

I'm okay though- and I'm coming to peace with it all. I can say with some comfort that thinking about my dad brings more happiness than tears now, and I know he wouldn't want me drowning in misery on my birthday, so I'm doing what he would want and making today a good one! very curious about the long title "the brighter side of the moon"... all of your titles are so unique and creative!!!

ahhh thank you!! so the brighter side of the moon was my one attempt at planning out a kny fic hahah it never really went through but i outlined some of the breathing styles and the general plot before i mostly moved on from the fandom. it was essentially an isekai story?? so the reader and two of her friends get put into the kny universe and they think they’ll be fine because they know how the manga/anime go but then it turns out that they’re in this weird alternate universe where all of the hashira are completely random and instead of tanjiro/nezuko it’s michikatsu/yorichi (i was big into kokushibo at that point HAHAH hence the moon in the title). it was definitely fun but i wasn’t focused on kny for long enough to actually write much if anything for it. i’ll put screenshots of the breathing styles underneath the cut though!! some are much more creative/in depth than others LMAOO based on the user’s proximity to the reader

reader used glass breathing hence why it’s the most detailed HAHAH anyways i have nothing against kny but i have just never been in the fandom for a long enough period of time to fully write smth for it 😫

3. Are there any fics that inspired you to write what you do?

This is going to be embarrassing but I feel like Laura’s (@thoughtfullyrainynightmare) fics/her writing style has influenced me a lot recently. The way she writes emotions and has scenes flow I think has left an impression on how I write.

A fic I read way before I was writing… I don’t remember the title or fandom but it was a fanfic about a character with haphephobia (fear of being touched). I feel like that influenced me by way of striking a cord with me in how trauma can be addressed. Not as some miracle curing but by the building of trust and reconnecting with the world. It inspired my writing but also my oc Haruka.

My biggest fault right now is that I hardly read fanfic outside of my little friend circle. Because I like the way people like Laura and Anshi characterize the, well, characters. I’m a little hesitant to read other works because I worry about going “they wouldn’t say that” and being unable to let myself believe the writer’s take on things.

In really need to get back to reading MHA and KnY fanfiction too…

promised talking about kny so here i am

writing it means so much to me because as much as it’s (so very loosely now) inspired by the matz spain live (which on the fandom side of things, will always be ever so dear to me) it’s gained such a life of its own beyond wanting to explore the ‘hongjoong workaholic no time for his best friend’ and ‘seonghwa needy affectionate pushover waiting loyally for his distant husband to return’. i wanted to play out that dynamic but in the sense of--what would this look like for real people? what would cause this dynamic to unfold? because while irl it’s a running joke between friends, it interested me to explore it through their characters (aka. diaryjoong and diaryhwa)

it’s given me such a freeing and delightful place to explore the diary characters without burdening myself by sticking too closely to the storyline. Instead I am able to put my headcanons out there and explore them (because i’ve vowed not to write a lore fic until i have the correct diary booklet to base it on. rip treasure). we get little nuggets in the diary booklets (more for some characters than for others), which means we can assemble the puzzle pieces they give us in whatever way we want. it’s almost designed to encourage the sort of creative work that fanfiction is. 

for hongjoong we get that he’s split from his family, he wants to gain notoriety so that they’ll find him and care about him. from that i created a backstory that, though it fits in neatly, is almost entirely my own just through answering my own questions. 

why is he split from his family? he was placed into the foster system.

(why was he placed into the foster system? his mother needed medical help and his father was arrested for arson.)

why does he feel they won’t care about him without fame? he was split from them young, and he internalised the experience of parental neglect. he believes that to be worthy of love and attention he must somehow be of use, that it is not enough to simply exist. 

for seonghwa we see that he craves freedom. that he wants to dance, but does not for fear of unknown, vaguely defined consequences. 

why does he not feel free? he lives in a society that comes with a set template for a successful, well-lived life. and within that society, he’s part of a religion with very strict conventions and rituals. 

what is he so afraid of? punishment, because every time he’s chased that freedom, something bad has happened. 

to me, i always viewed seonghwa’s ‘watching the girl with the be free bracelet dancing like no one can see her’ not as some heterosexual infatuation, but as a very powerful and meaningful metaphor for being closeted and looking on at the community you should be (that you want to be part of), unable to join them and have what they have. a deeply afraid, young queer man, looking on at a completely unafraid queer woman engaging in queer activities as if it’s the easiest thing in the world.

kny is taking those two interpretations and headcanons and placing them in an environment without the cromer and without magic or war and exploring how they would interact without any of those external pressures. it’s character driven in a way that nothing i’ve written before has been. 

i also, as a final thought, want to note that anyone’s personal interpretation of the diary backstories is deeply personal, informed by one’s own life experiences and traumas. neglect is personal to me. fear of repercussions for my identity is personal to me. i truly feel that we should have the space to explore the diary characters as their own characters. make headcanons and fanart and canon compliant fic because the frame it gives us is perfect for exploring our own thoughts and feelings in a way that simple rpf is not (not to say that regular rpf can’t be all of these things, but the diary booklets especially provide such a nice template divorced from reality and thus, any guilt over reading our own experiences into a real person’s image.)

i don’t know, i have a lot of thoughts on atz lore and how the puritanism of main atiny twt has meant that we haven’t been able to explore it the way i truly believe we are meant to. i have more thoughts on each of the other characters, but this is about kny so i’ve stuck to just hongjoong and seonghwa. i’ll probably add the others shortly

One of my headcanons for a Demon Slayer au is that Sunny and Mari's family lived fairly close to the cities (like Asakusa in the episode where Tanjirou encounters Muzan for the first time) so they're a little bit more westernized. If you look in their wardrobes, you can even see little tuxedos for Sunny and simple but cute and elegant dresses for Mari. That would actually make a lot more sense than making them live in a small town up in the mountains with no knowledge of the big cities and such :0 perhaps they'd go there from time to time too!
